Satan, the Prince of this earth, loves to divide everything.  Marriages, churches, families, friendships, denominations and political parties.  Right now millions of Americans believe that fighting over GOP vs DFL is where the fight is.  In reality the fight is so much bigger and taking place in the heavenly realms.  The spirit of the Antichrist is getting ready.  All the pieces are on the board.  We just need a trigger.

 Something resembling a new form of totalitarianism … or something resembling civil war.

One thing often leads to the other.

Every new totalitarian system is preceded by some sort of civil war. You can’t just implement totalitarianism out of nowhere. In order to impose totalitarianism on society, you need to tear society apart, pit the masses against each other, foment fanaticism, mass hysteria and hatred. Above all, you need to foment fear. Once you have torn society apart and whipped the masses into a mindless paroxysm of fear and hate and murderous rage, you can implement your new form of totalitarianism fairly easily, as people will be desperate for the restoration of “order.”

One of the best ways to tear society apart and whip the masses into a mindless frenzy of fear and homicidal rage and hatred until they literally cannot think anymore and are reduced to a robotic state of cognition in which they shut down entirely or are transformed into shrieking fanatical zealots is to:

(a) terrorise them with fake existential threats, like the return of Hitler, or an apocalyptic virus, or whatever,

(b) demonise everyone who refuses to play along with the fake existential threats as yet another existential threat, and then

(c) terrorise the masses all over again.

If you do that long enough, what will eventually happen is, the people you demonised as an existential threat because they wouldn’t play along with the fake existential threats you were terrorising the masses with will rise up against you, and attempt to remove you from power.

At that point, you will be on the brink of civil war, which is exactly what you were trying to achieve. Because, once you’re on the brink of civil war, you can justify the implementation of your new form of totalitarianism without too much trouble.

Russia Issues Nuclear Threat to NATO

A top Russian official has issued a nuclear warning to NATO, days after the U.S. announced that it will be stationing developmental hypersonic weapons in Europe.

When asked whether Russia could deploy nuclear missiles in response to Washington's plan to deploy long-range fire capabilities in Germany, Sergei Ryabkov, Russia's deputy foreign minister in charge of ties with the U.S., nonproliferation and arms control, told reporters in Moscow on Thursday that he does not "rule out any options."

Tel Aviv Hit by Houthi Drone Attack

The plot thickens as the enemies of Israel become more bold.  They will be destroyed as God will fight for Israel as he did previously when He brought them into the promised land.  But most prophecy watchers believe that will only happen after the rapture of the church when the age of the gentiles is over and God focuses solely on His client nation, also God’s bride, once again.

TEL AVIV, July 19 (Reuters) - A long-range Iranian-made drone hit the centre of Tel Aviv in the early hours of Friday in an attack claimed by the Yemen-based Houthi militia that killed one man and wounded four others, the Israeli military and emergency services said.

The explosion, which footage shared on social media suggested came from the sea and did not trigger air raid alarms, occurred hours after the Israeli military confirmed it had killed a senior commander of the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon.

Japan Selling Off U.S. Treasuries

 So what would happen if a large number of U.S. Treasury bond holders decided to sell them off and demand their money back?  Well, just like any commodity the price would drop and interest rates would soar as the U.S. government seeks to entice other buyers to buy the bonds that are on the market.

Think of it really simply;  if you have 10,000 apples for sale in your front yard you aren't going to be able to sell them for $1 per apple if you live in MN in October.

However, if you lived in the desert and you had one shiny apple for sale and 10 people were all desperate to buy that apple you might end up selling it for $10 to the highest bidder.  It really is that simple.

Today we read that Japan, who has a lot of financial and population problems, is dumping billions worth of U.S Treasuries.  The U.S. Treasury will have to pay back Japan in dollars and then try and re-sell those bonds into a market that is already flooded with U.S. Treasuries.  This could be the start of nothing or it could be the start of something...but one day this IS how the ultimate collapse WILL happen.

Japan is on the verge of a fire sale of hundreds of billions of dollars in U.S. debt that could crash Treasury markets already teetering on the edge.

Just another exciting day for de-dollarization as Japan's collapse sends people scrounging the couch cushions for dollars to pawn.

The news comes from The Wall Street Journal, which reported that Japan's state-owned Government Pension Investment Fund, which holds Social Security reserves of nearly every Japanese worker, is poised to sell down its $400 billion of U.S. dollar assets and direct the money to Japanese domestic bonds and equities to prop up Japan's asset markets long enough to limp through the next crisis.

The numbers are big because Japan actually has a Social Security lockbox--unlike the U.S., where Congress has frittered away every last penny Social Security has even taken in and replaced them with IOUs.

Out of the $1.5 trillion in that lockbox, Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund owns nearly $400 billion in U.S. Treasurys and another $400 billion in overseas equities--stocks--overwhelmingly parked in S&P 500 companies.

So that's $800 billion of U.S. dollar-denominated assets.

More important, the government pension influences all the other pensions in Japan, since it's a quasi-official seal of approval. Those other pensions manage another $1.5 trillion in corporate pensions alone, and a Government Pension Investment Fund allocation would imply that's another $800 billion in U.S. assets.

As for the dollar, if Japan is about to flip to mass seller, that knocks out the single biggest overseas holder of U.S. debt. And at a time when the No. 2 holder, China, is selling dollars hand-over-fist.

And what if there are not enough buyers for U.S. debt?

Easy: Prices crash and interest rates soar. We'd be back to crashing banks here in America, with Washington's debt service driving toward $2 trillion per year--in interest alone.

Toss in a coming recession, the open border, and funding all the wars Biden's handlers can drum up, and we could be in for a very bumpy ride.

Rainbow Picture is Pretty Cool

As we all know, it’s ironic that the sexually immoral, who celebrate the sin of pride, have hijacked God’s symbol of a promise He made to mankind.  That being said, notice this cool picture of a rainbow and the story that accompanies it.

The Ark Encounter’s corporate sponsorship at a recent Cincinnati Reds rain delay took on even greater significance when a rainbow appeared over the outfield scoreboard.

The brilliant rainbow, with a faint hint of a double rainbow, arched gracefully just beyond left field, with the sun peeking through the clouds as it cast light on the tarp-covered baseball diamond.

Ken Ham, the CEO of the Ark Encounter, posted a photo of the rainbow on his social media accounts. 

“Our Ark Encounter attraction sponsors weather delays at the Cincinnati Reds stadium,” Ham wrote last week. “People often send us photos when that happens so we can see the Ark Encounter name displayed on the LED screens. And once again, as you can see in the photos, there were beautiful rainbows last night.”

The Ark Encounter, a life-size replica of the biblical Noah’s Ark, is located in Kentucky, a short drive from Cincinnati. It includes exhibits and a zoo. The replica spans 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high.

“Rainbows are always a reminder of God’s covenant,” Ham said.

Winking at Sin While Denying God’s Wrath

 I think we have all heard these words when in a religious discussion/debate with someone, “Well, my God would never do that.”  Of course the usual thought that pops into my head is, “what kind of god did you create in your head?”  With all the false teachings and all the false doctrine overwhelming the churches of America, it’s not a surprise that few of them read Revelation and even fewer believe what it says about Jesus returning with the wrath of God and destroying unrepentant sinners.  Those people didn’t have the faith in Jesus necessary to enter into the Millennial Kingdom.  They maybe had the wherewithal to survive the Great Tribulation but when the King returned they were sorely lacking what they needed to secure eternal life with Jesus.

Back in the mid-1990s, a popular radio talk show host on an Oklahoma City secular station interviewed me live on the air via telephone. He had seen an article I had written about the financial accountability of Christian ministries, and he had liked it.

He began the interview by graciously giving me the opportunity to talk non-stop for about ten minutes about the way God had transformed my life and called me into the ministry. We then moved on to a discussion of the scandals that had recently rocked the Christian community nationwide.

The Unmentionable Word

Everything went well until the host asked me to summarize the fundamental message of my ministry. I responded by saying that God had called me to proclaim “the soon return of Jesus in wrath.”

Before I could proceed with my explanation, the announcer cut me short. “What do you mean, ‘wrath’?” he asked.

“I mean that Jesus is going to return very soon to pour out the wrath of God upon those who have rejected God’s love and grace and mercy.”

“Your God is a monster God!” he snapped. He then added, “I happen to be a Christian, and I can tell you that my God wouldn’t hurt a flea!”

That was the end of the interview. He hung up on me. I was not given an opportunity to respond to his misrepresentation of our Creator.

Satan’s Grand Deception

The radio host’s vehement response to the wrath of God did not surprise me. It is characteristic of both Christians and non-Christians, and I have encountered it many times.

Satan has sold the world a bill of goods concerning the nature of God. Most people, both Christian and non-Christian, tend to view God as being a sort of Cosmic Teddy Bear.

They see Him as big and warm and soft, full of infinite love and forgiveness. He couldn’t hurt a fly, and He certainly wouldn’t be so cruel as to condemn or harm any beings created in His own image. On the Day of Judgment, God will simply give everyone a big hug and wink at their sins.

The only problem with this wonderfully comforting image is that it is a lie straight from the pit of Hell.

California Passes Law Making it Illegal for Schools to Share Info About Kids With Parents

Let’s say you 8 yr old boy tells his teachers at school that he now wants to be called Barb and use pronouns of she/her.  Of course the teacher has to honor the child’s request.  But the teacher would be breaking the law if she called the parents to tell them about their child’s request.  In response to this recent change in California, Elon Musk has announced his company is leaving CA and moving to TX.

 Newsom passed AB1955 on Monday, which bars schools from informing parents when their child decides to change their gender, effectively stripping parents' rights to know about gender transitions.

According to an official summary of the law:

This bill would prohibit school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and the state special schools, and a member of the governing board or body of those educational entities, from enacting or enforcing any policy, rule, or administrative regulation that requires an employee or a contractor to disclose any information related to a pupil’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent unless otherwise required by law, as provided. The bill would prohibit employees or contractors of those educational entities from being required to make such a disclosure unless otherwise required by law, as provided. The bill would prohibit employees or contractors of school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, or the state special schools, or members of the governing boards or bodies of those educational entities, from retaliating or taking adverse action against an employee on the basis that the employee supported a pupil in the exercise of specified rights, work activities, or providing certain instruction, as provided.

When asked last year by Breitbart why parents shouldn't have the right to know about their children's gender transitions, Newsom said it wasn't worth discussing - suggesting instead that transgender 'kids'' lives were in danger.

Trump’s VP Will be Very Pro Israel

The article below is from the Jerusalem Post.  As you recall the people of Israel loved Trump for a handful of great reasons.  And now Trumps running mate, JD Vance, sounds to be very pro-Israel.  The odds of Trump beating Biden in November seem to be leaning towards Trump this week.  We believe God spared Trump’s life and the reason He did might soon come into focus.  While Trump can’t save America if elected, he certainly could delay the destruction for a few years.

Israel Strikes Damascus…Again

The Israel Defense Forces said Sunday it struck facilities belonging to the Syrian Army overnight in response to the launch of two drones from Syria at Israel’s southernmost city of Eilat the day before.

The IDF said it struck a central Syrian Army command center, additional infrastructure, and air defense systems in response to the drone attack.

It marked the second time within a few days that Israel has struck Syria amid tinderbox tensions in the north, where the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah has carried out near-daily attacks since October 8, claiming it is acting in support of the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing war there between Israel and the Palestinian terror group Hamas.

One Syrian soldier was killed and three others were injured in the strikes, against military sites in southern Syria and a residential building in the Damascus suburb of Kafr Sousa, the Syrian army said.

The Syrian military said in a statement that the attacks were launched from over the Israeli-held parts of the Golan Heights.

The Missing Piece

Many of us wonder how the current financial system hasn’t collapsed already.  And why hasn’t China invaded Taiwan?  And why haven’t they rolled out digital currency?  As the author below says, the pieces of the Great Tribulation are already snapped into place, there’s just one piece missing to complete the puzzle and he, and many others, are convinced that shocking piece will be the snatching away of the church.

The Missing Piece

If you are like me, you wonder how much closer we can get to the start of the Tribulation before we meet Jesus in the air. When I wrote about nearness of the seal judgments (Revelation 6) a couple of years ago, I thought that by now, they surely would have at least begun.

The globalists themselves seem frustrated at the lack of progress in implementing their agenda. The WEF (World Economic Forum) joined with the UN last fall in recommitting themselves to attaining all of the UN’s seventeen Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. They know something is holding back their diabolical plans to enslave the world under a totalitarian Marxist regime. We know it’s the restraining force of the Holy Spirit (see 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8).

The closer we get to the start of the Day of the Lord, the more we understand how the Rapture will serve as a catalyst to jumpstart many of the events we read about in the book of Revelation.

I imagine an electronic jigsaw puzzle where all the other pieces light up after someone puts the last one in its proper place. In this case, it’s the Rapture. It’s the missing piece.

We Are So Close

It’s never been more apparent just how rapidly the world will descend into utter chaos following our disappearance.

Paul described the antichrist as the “man of lawlessness” and wrote that “the mystery of lawlessness is already at work” (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7). The increase of lawlessness in just the past ten years staggers the imagination. Who would have ever thought we would see a sign on the streets of San Francisco warning thieves they would face prosecution if they stole items exceeding $950 in total value?

Major store chains in the U.S. report shoplifting in billions of dollars per year.

Inflation in the U.S. is much higher than reported and hurting many, many people. Even so, it’s only by the Lord’s restraining hand that we have not yet reached the dire economic conditions described in Revelation 6:5-6. It’s clear that such astronomical inflation is right on our doorstep. I say this because of what I see in America:

• Our national debt is rapidly approaching $35 trillion. We have added over $2 trillion dollars to that total since October 1, 2023!
• The printing of money to cover America’s massive national debt will lead to devastating hyperinflation; it’s unavoidable. Many wonder why this hasn’t already happened.
• Illegal immigration is also accelerating the current pace of inflation. The money that the government prints and gives to people breaking the law in this way increases the demand for the same amount of goods; this is the fundamental cause of inflation.
• Fires at food processing plants, the bird flu, and the globalists’ plans to curtail farming and eliminate cattle will continue to put upward pressure on food prices everywhere in the world.

I could cite much more evidence pointing to the nearness of all the judgments of Revelation chapter 6, but it’s time for good news.

Suddenly

If anything, the multiplicity of signs pointing to the nearness of the Tribulation reminds us that the Rapture and the judgments that follow it will happen suddenly. In the midst of writing about the Lord’s appearing to take us home, Paul addresses the abruptness to the start of the Day of the Lord in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3:

“For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”

This “day” will strike the unsuspecting world like a bolt of lightning, but not for us. In 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, the Lord promises to come for us before the start of the Day of the Lord. The “wrath” mentioned in these verses refers to what happens during the Day of the Lord, not to hell.

It will be a day just like today when we will instantly disappear. 1 Corinthians 15:52 tells us the Rapture will happen in the “twinkling of an eye,” which is quicker than a blink. Jesus’ direct intervention in the world will come without warning just as no one expects to discover a thief in their home in the middle of the night.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus tells us four times that “I am coming quickly” (3:11, 22:7, 12, 20). The Greek word for “quickly” is tachu, which in some cases is translated “soon.” In these verses, however, it refers to suddenness of Jesus’ return for us.

This is most definitely not a reference to the Second Coming, which will not happen with such abruptness. The events of Revelation 19:11-20:4 will likely occur over the course of several hours, if not several days. John earlier said that when Jesus comes “with the clouds … every eye will see him” (Revelation 1:7). The Rapture will happen before people have time to even blink, let alone witness it.

As watchers, we are well aware of the dangers of setting a date for the Lord’s appearing. Whenever we mention the nearness of the Rapture, someone always seems to remind us of this.

As we see the Tribulation rapidly approaching our world, however, would it not also be an equally serious mistake to assume that the Rapture will not happen today or this week, month, or year? I believe so.

The New Testament closes with the word of the verses below, which include Jesus’ last recorded message to His church:

“He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen” (22:20-21)

The closer we get to the start of the Day of the Lord, the clearer it becomes how the Rapture will unravel all pretenses of “peace and security” in the world, open the door for the seal judgments of Revelation 6 to occur, and lead to the appearing of the antichrist.

America Isn’t Ready for What Comes Next

It would appear that Trump missed a meeting with his maker by about 2-3 inches.  Had that bullet moved to his left a few inches it would have been lights out.  The author of the article below asks some great questions and makes some great observations.  When half the country thinks the other half is out to “destroy American democracy”, it can lead to violence.  And if the fringe Left tried to take out Trump, maybe the fringe Right is going to look for “paybacks” and try to take someone out who is a member of the party of the Left.

We know that Americas enemies are looking to divide us by funding division.  Bible readers know that all of the internal turmoil, lawlessness and hatred are happening because the vast majority of America no longer fears the Lord.  Without it there can be no wisdom or knowledge and even our most intelligent men start thinking like fools.

Someone just attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump. We don’t know who, and we don’t know why, but we know they came terribly close to succeeding.

We should all be terrified about what comes next.

American politics has recently become trapped in a state of simultaneous stability and instability. It is stable in the sense that there are clearly defined and seemingly unshakeable partisan divisions. It is unstable in the sense that those divisions have grown so deep and so bitter that they threaten the basic faith in political coexistence that any democracy needs to survive.

Two years ago, I asked some of the world’s leading experts on democratic breakdown about what comes next: How might the seeming crisis of American democracy end? Many of them warned of rising political violence. The more people hate and fear their political opponents, the more likely they are to go outside the law to try to stop them.

And when someone on one side is attacked, the other becomes more likely to respond in kind. The ultimate fear is a cycle of violence akin to Italy’s “Years of Lead”: a roughly 15-year period beginning in 1969 in which extreme left and extreme right militias perpetrated a spree of bombings and assassinations.

At the time, I wrote that the “most likely flashpoint” for violent escalation was “a presidential election.”

Political violence tends to be emotional, perpetrated by angry people who have poor impulse control. In this country, our political emotions are never higher than during a presidential contest — especially when both sides believe that the fate of the republic depends on the outcome.

To be clear, we do not yet know that the shooter was motivated by political grievance. We could be in a scenario akin to John Hinckley’s shooting of Ronald Reagan, an assassination attempt motivated by a clinically delusional bid to capture the attention of actress Jodie Foster.

But we can say it was clear that the risk of something like this would rise during the election. As would the risk of serious, unpredictable consequences — up to and including further violence.

In fact, the very circumstances that make political violence more likely in today’s America are the same ones that render our political system ill-equipped to handle its consequences.

Extreme polarization makes cooperation hard and suspicion natural. Some Republican members of Congress are already blaming Democrats for the attempt on Trump’s life. The phrase “inside job” is currently trending on Twitter.

And it’s not like either party’s leadership is especially trustworthy at this particular moment. President Biden has clearly declined with age and is fighting to maintain his role as nominee. Trump is a victim now, but he’s still the same man he was before it happened. Biden is a steady leader but in a poor position to handle a crisis; Trump is a demagogue who is more likely to raise tensions rather than lower them.

The United States is an extraordinary country: the wealthiest and most powerful ever to exist in human history. But it is riven by what might be its greatest internal divisions since the Civil War. The gravity of that particular comparison should underscore both the dangers here and the uncertainty. 

A gunman’s bullet has just sent the country hurtling into an abyss. The only question now is how far we fall.
