 I’m Muslim Nigeria there really is a genocide going on.  It’s Muslims trying to wipe out the Christians.  But don’t hold your breath for the US college kids and other woke mobs to start protesting the inhumanity of Boko Haram and screaming for a new Nigerian state made just for Christians.  Also remember that woke Leftists actually celebrate the killing of babies by the millions in America.  So for them to read this headline and be appalled that a woman could blow up her baby in an attempt to strengthen Islam in Nigeria…is not going to happen.

Coordinated suicide attacks claimed the lives of at least 18 people in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday. The Islamist group Boko Haram, which has not officially claimed responsibility for the explosions, has been waging violence in the region for more than ten years.

In one of three blasts on Saturday in the town of Gwoza, a woman with a baby strapped to her back detonated explosives in the middle of a wedding ceremony, according to a state police spokesman.

“At about 1545 (1445 GMT) a woman carrying a baby on her back detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) she had on her at a crowded motor park,” Borno State police spokesman Nahum Kenneth Daso said.

Top Iranian General Threatens Israel

Bible readers know that once the nation of Israel has been reestablished on the land promised to Abraham and his descendants, it will never be totally destroyed again.  Iran is a player mentioned in Ezekiel 38 that dreams of destroying Israel but will, in fact, be destroyed by God.

 A senior Iranian general on Monday told family members of Hamas terrorists killed in Gaza that the Islamic Republic was prepared to launch another attack on the Jewish state, similar to its massive missile and drone strike in April. 

“We await an opportunity for ‘True Promise II’ … in which I do not know how many missiles will be fired,” Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps aerospace forces commander Brig.-Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh told the family members, who were visiting Iran.

Iran’s next attack, said Hajizadeh, “will lead to a complete victory for the Palestinian people.”

“True Promise” is the Islamic Republic’s name for its unprecedented April 13 attack on Israel, comprising more than 300 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and suicide drones.

According to Tehran, the attack was retaliation for the assassination of Mohammad Reza Zahedi, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria and Lebanon, by Israel on April 1.

Hajizadeh’s statement came a few days after the Islamic Republic threatened to destroy Israel if the country embarks on a full-scale war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“Albeit Iran deems as psychological warfare the Zionist regime’s propaganda about intending to attack Lebanon, should it embark on full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue. All options, incl. the full involvement of all Resistance Fronts, are on the table,” their mission to the United Nations wrote on X.

Requests for comment from U.N. chief Antonio Guterres about Tehran’s genocidal threat were not answered.

“Iran threatens today to destroy Israel if Israel fully responds to Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon,” Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz tweeted in response to the threat.

“My response to Iran is clear: 1. If Hezbollah does not cease its fire and withdraw from southern Lebanon, we will act against it with full force until security is restored and residents can return to their homes. 2. ⁠A regime that threatens destruction deserves to be destroyed,” he wrote.

Earliest Category 5 Hurricane EVER

 The headlines concerning crazy weather are happening daily.  Worst flooding, worst draught, most rain in a day, tornadoes and hurricanes too!  The godless world is convinced it’s all happening because of cow farts and burning coal and gasoline.  Bible readers know the earth is groaning as it waits for its redemption.  All these things happening are proof of such.

Category 5 hurricanes are somewhat of an anomaly relatively speaking in any hurricane season. However, a Category 5 hurricane on before the 4th of July is unprecedented. University of Miami hurricane expert Brian McNoldy posted, “#Beryl holds the new record for earliest Category 5 hurricane by a huge 15-day margin now.” This storm continues to break records, ravage the Caribbean region and stun scientists like me. Here’s what we can expect from the hurricane as it continues to move westward. The bottom-line up front—It’s not good, especially for Jamaica.

I am particularly concerned about the island of Jamaica, and Weather Channel senior meteorologist Jonathan Erdman explained why in his post on X. His term “Septuly” is appropriate because what we are observing with Beryl is more likely in September than July. Hurricane Beryl would be the strongest hurricane to hit Jamaica since Hurricane Dean (2007). According to Erdman, 16 major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher) have struck Jamaica. Erdman told me, "Every single one of those was after the month of July since the non-2005 'canes were all in August or later." By the way, we ran out of hurricane names that year.

That last statement is why I am so worried about Jamaica. It could take a direct hit or be within the “dirty” side of the eyewall where the strongest winds and storm surge are located. Many people vacation in Jamaica at this time of year and may not be familiar with this type of strong hurricane. To be clear, even experienced residents are not. This is an extreme event for which there is no reference point this early in July. Period. “Hurricane amnesia” and decision making based on outdated mental benchmarks of previous storms are always a concern for me. Let's hope increased wind shear weakens it before it approaches Jamaica.

70% of Voters Believe Biden Doesn’t Have Mental Capacity to Serve

 It’s certainly a sad state of affairs in the USA when we have 2 candidates who are both confirmed liars.  One candidate has nearly 3/4 of voters believing he lacks the mental capacity to serve and the other has nearly 1/2 believing the same thing.  While Putin is threatening nuclear war we currently have a commander in chief who isn’t sure where his mind has gone?  It’s a dangerous time on planet earth.

WASHINGTON – A sweeping section of registered voters do not believe President Joe Biden has the mental and cognitive health to serve a second term as president after his unsteady debate performance last week, according to a new poll.  

The CBS/You Gov national survey conducted in the days after the debate found that 72% of voters do not believe Biden has the mental or cognitive health to serve as president, as well as nearly half of his own party. That’s up seven points from the beginning of June.  

Forty-nine percent of voters said they believe former President Donald Trumpdoes not have the mental or cognitive ability to take on the role of commander-in-chief again. 

While Biden has faced questions from voters about his age for months, his raspy voice, stumbling responses, and at times wooden appearance during his match-up last Thursday against Trump have further flamed concerns about his ability to serve. 

The latest poll numbers could fuel more calls for Biden, 81, to withdraw from the presidential race and allow Democrats to nominate another candidate.

Is Putin Gog of Magog?

It seems likely that Putin would fulfill the role of Gog if the rapture happens tomorrow.  He’s already had personal meetings with Iran and Turkey.  However, since we don’t know when the rapture will happen we can’t say for certain.  If Putin died tomorrow and someone took his place as dictator, that person would become the next best candidate to fulfill the prophecy of Ezekiel.

 In Ezekiel 38:1–6, 10 proper names identify the invading forces. Nine of them describe geographical locations. The word Gog is the lone exception. It occurs 12 times in chapters 38—39 and is a name or title for the leader of the invasion.

He is identified as “Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal” (38:2). We know Gog is an individual because he (1) is addressed directly by God (v. 14; 39:1), (2) is called a prince (38:2; 39:1), and (3) is referred to repeatedly by the use of personal pronouns. Also, he is “of the land of Magog,” indicating he is a person. The word Gog is not the leader’s name but, rather, a title, like pharaoh, president, or czar.

In the Old Testament, the word Gog appears only once outside Ezekiel 38—39 (cf. 1 Chr. 5:4) and clearly references a different person. Gog may mean “high, supreme,” or “a height,” possibly emphasizing this leader’s elevated position and pride. It may come from a Sumerian word (gug) meaning “darkness.” Bible scholar Dr. Thomas Constable said Ezekiel may have “referred to this unnamed future enemy of Israel as a dark figure (unknown and evil) calling him ‘Dark’ much as we might refer to such a person as a new Hitler.”

In light of the actions of current Russian President Vladimir Putin, many have wondered if he could be the Russian leader known as Gog. While it is possible, we must always avoid irresponsible attempts to identify a world leader today with an end-times figure.

Author and journalist Joel Rosenberg gave his assessment about any connection between Putin and Gog:

Over the years, people have asked me if Putin might be the Russian dictator referred to as “Gog” in the Biblical prophecies of “Gog and Magog” in Ezekiel 38—39. . . . Here’s my quick answer: It’s too soon to draw such a conclusion. There’s much more that would have to happen to indicate that Putin was the “Gog” of Bible prophecy. But there’s no question in my mind that Putin is Gog-esque. He is dangerous, and both Israel and the West should keep a close and wary eye on him, especially given all that Putin has done to build a strategic alliance between Russia and Iran and the other countries mentioned in the “Gog and Magog” prophecies.

Time will tell. What we can say is that Putin cannot definitively be identified as Gog nor conclusively ruled out. He may be setting the stage for another leader who is waiting in the wings. But Putin is at least a faint foreshadow of what’s coming.

“Disastrous Debate Performance”

Joe Biden is not fit to be the Leader of the free world.  His mumbling, meandering performance on Thursday is still the top headline on Google News this morning.  How sad that we have come to this point as a nation.  We don’t have any Godly leaders running for President.  As a nation slides downhill they will get the leaders they deserve.

Joe Biden is in damage control mode.

The president’s stunningly poor debate performance has sparked a full-on meltdown across the Democratic Party. Donors are fretting. The editorialboards of the nation’s largest newspapers are urging Biden to exit the race, as are influential columnists. And Democrats running down the ticket are scrambling to separate themselves from their struggling standard-bearer.

But after an event like last week’s debate, the electorate can simply be hard to accurately poll if a key set of voters — in this case, shell-shocked Democrats — are unwilling to talk about how they’re feeling.

Even if pollsters take the extra step of adding political attitudes to those weighting variables — like voters’ partisan identification or registration or their recalled 2020 vote choice — they still risk missing some voters who are tuning out politics and surveys in a low moment for their candidate.
