Dubai is Shaking

Dubai was a backwater dirty town 15 yrs ago. Today it is full of skyscrapers, an indoor ski resort and man-made islands that catered to the richest people on planet earth.

Yesterday it was announced that a huge Dubai firm needed an extension to pay back interest on $90 billion.

On Thursday, Dubai World, a conglomerate, shook world financial markets by asking for a six-month moratorium on paying interest on debt estimated at between $60 billion and $90 billion. Immediately after the announcement, Asian equity markets swooned by 3 percent to 5 percent. The selling continued on the London market, which then recovered in afternoon trading. On Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average opened off about 224 points and then started to climb back on a shortened, post-holiday trading day.

Last Days Warning

Yes, we have been watching for signs of the coming third Temple in Jerusalem. There is a renewed zeal in Israel to have a place of worship.

Remember, there has been no temple for over 1900 years.

To a devout Jew, no temple means no sacrifice...and no sacrifice means no atonement for sin. If you were a Jew....you may feel very out of sorts.

And most importantly, remember that the Third Temple will be built in the Last Days....as the Bible clearly points out. So all this Temple Talk is simply more evidence that every day that passes means we are one day closer to seeing our Savior in the clouds.

Recent events in Jerusalem are signs of coming conflict according to Christian Zionist Les Lawrence.

November 17, 2009 -- When violent confrontation between Muslims and Jews in late October reignited on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Les Lawrence of Elisha Vision , called the incident “a warning sign of the end times.”

According to Robert Berger writing from Jerusalem (10/25/09), the conflict began when young Muslims, incited by senior members of the Islamic Movement, barricaded themselves inside the Al Aqsa Mosque in protest of Jews praying on the Temple Mount. Berger wrote that the “Israeli Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen blamed Islamic leaders in Israel for fomenting the violence.”

Friends, we should be very motivated and excited right now! Many Christ followers are reporting to me that they are feeling a "quickening" take place in their hearts.

Jesus told us to be busy until He returns. He also told us to snatch people from the fire.

Do we have friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers who haven't accepted the Gospel? Jesus told us that the harvest is ripe but the workers are few.

Are we all being workers today? If we knew that the Age of Grace was only going to last for another 6 months....would we drop everything we are doing and work diligently to draw your friends to Christ before it's too late?

Ahmadinejad Calls Obama Coward

When we were little kids on the playground if someone wanted to pick a fight they might push another kid. If the pushed kid then said, "Don't do that again!" and walked away the whole thing may have been over.

But if the bully pushed the same kid again and again was told, "Don't do that again!" and walked away another time....the bully is now empowered.

After the third pushing incident the bully might even scoff at the kid who won't fight and call him a coward.

The good news was that in playground world, there was always a teacher or principal a few steps away and you could always count on them to immediately break up any fight. And if there happened to be some other friends who would serve as witnesses, the bully might even be brought to justice.

Sadly, the world political situation is really just a big game of playground pushing....but it is far more deadly because there are really big bombs, really nasty weapons and most dangerous of all...there is no one standing by ready to break up the fight.

Once it breaks out, it is a fight to the death....and to the victor goes the spoils.

So why is the world getting so dangerous?

Because everyone has really big guns, (nukes, bio-weapons, etc...) and no one is willing to get punched in the gut standing up to the bully.

In the latest round of name calling, Ahmadinejad has said that Obama and Israel lack the courage to attack Iran....if you lack courage then you are a coward.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday that the threat of a U.S. or Israeli military strike against Iran was no longer an issue because "they don't have the courage" to attack Iran.

Fielding a question on whether he feared an attack from Israel or the U.S., Ahmadinejad said a military strike was no longer a possibility.
That's clear "even for mentally challenged people," he said with a smile, AFP reported.

Besides, he added, "those you mention [Israel and the U.S.] don't have the courage to attack Iran. They're not even thinking about it."

None of us peace loving people in The West like war. We wish none of our kids ever had to die again. But sadly, the Prince of this earth (Satan) loves war, misery, bloodshed, suffering and the famine and hardship that go with it.

Jesus said we would be fighting physical wars up until the day He returns. So we best get use to it. And furthermore we better soon understand that Iran has pushed Obama four separate times and each time Obama has walked away....emboldening Iran and other enemies of The West.

And now Ahmadinejad says we lack courage.

President Roosevelt said to speak softly and carry a big stick. But if your enemy realizes that you won't ever use the big stick.....speaking softly without anything else will get you pushed over.

U.S. Debt Shock

Even the very liberal New York Times is realizing that if the U.S. doesn't change course quickly, it will be overcome by debt shock.

"Even as Treasury officials are racing to lock in today's low rates by exchanging short-term borrowings for long-term bonds, the government faces a payment shock similar to those that sent legions of overstretched homeowners into default on their mortgages," The Times reported on Monday.

Interestingly, the alarming Times analysis comes as the nation is in the midst of a debate over healthcare reform proposals that could add many billions of dollars to the overall debt.

Record deficits have arrived just as payments for Medicare and Social Security benefits are set to explode, with the oldest Baby Boomers approaching age 65. This will result in what experts have long warned will be a "fiscal nightmare" for the government, the Times article notes.

Don't Say Muslim!

It really became obvious a few weeks ago after the massacre at Fort Hood. It seemed the journalists of this country were stumbling all over themselves to NOT say that the gunman was a devout Muslim. In their politically correct brains, they seem to have a tape that repeats over and over again, "All religions are the same...all religions are the same!"

This present case of insanity is what causes long lines at every airport around the country...as we ask 80 yr old white women from Des Moines to kindly remove their shoes so we can verify that they haven't planted plastic explosives in their shoes.

NEWSFLASH!!! THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN 80 YR OLD WHITE WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN A SUICIDE BOMBER!! I REPEAT....NEVER!!!

In fact 99% of suicide bombers have been males between the ages of 15 and 30 who share another common trait.....are you ready....THEY ARE ALL DEVOUT MUSLIMS and usually have darker complexions....which means they are from Middle Eastern descent.

Today, the breaking headlines are in the Philippines. It seems that there was a massacre that had something to do with elections. So CNN is reporting it as political violence.

Manila, Philippines (CNN) -- Search teams pulled 24 more bodies out of shallow graves in the Philippines Tuesday bringing the death toll to 46 in "a gruesome massacre" ahead of provincial elections, state-run media reported.
The Philippine government declared a state of emergency in southern parts of the country following Monday's shooting, which government officials called the worse pre-election violence in the country's history.

But check this out...it's not until about half way through the article that you get this tiny sentence;

So what does CNN not want to tell us?? That the world is exploding with violence....and that of the 400+ armed conflicts going on around the world right now....almost all of them have SOMETHING TO DO WITH VIOLENT MUSLIMS!

It's the elephant in the room that the journalists can't get themselves to talk about. Why?? I think it's two reasons. One is that the journalists are so overcome with tolerance and acceptance that they are incapable of connecting dots. But even more importantly, I believe the journalists are afraid to put "Muslim" in the headline because they know that the CNN office in Jakarta or Spain could be firebombed or their reporters killed.

They know what happens when angry Muslim mobs take to the streets.

So what we are now witnessing is Islam taking down the freedom of the press brick by brick...as the media has learned it is much safer to, "Don't say Muslim or Islam."

As Christ followers, what are we to do with this? We are to understand where Satan has thrown his energy and then we can better understand where the spiritual battle is being waged. Once that is recognized, we can then more effectively focus our spiritual weapon....which consists of one thing.....PRAYER.

Global Warming Creates Prostitutes

The effects of climate change have driven women in communities in coastal areas in poor countries like the Philippines into dangerous work, and sometimes even the flesh trade, a United Nations official said.

“Climate change could reduce income from farming and fishing, possibly driving some women into sex work and thereby increase HIV infection," Mukherjee said during the Wednesday launch of the UNFPA annual State of World Population Report in Pasay City.

RETREATING GLACIERS SEND WOMEN TO SEX TRADE

For eons, humans have lived on the ice, hunting mammoths and sabre tooth tigers. Today, that is all in peril as the ice continues to retreat. Sadly, some women will be forced into the sex trade in order to supplement their husbands inability to bring home enough fur and meat.

Of course with all these women sleeping with every stranger that wanders by simply to bring home porridge to their hungry families....sexually transmitted diseases will explode....adding further to the misery of us ice dwellers.

To avoid this crises, UNFPA will be burning every last mammoth skin in an attempt to appease the gods. Maybe if we burn enough of our wealth we can stop this catastrophic decline of the ice...thereby saving our women from an endless life of skinning, cooking, child rearing and sex with strangers.

In the meantime, please find another way to stay warm....because all the mammoth skins will be burned next Tuesday. Peace.

Last Days Coalition Builds

We know that Ezekiel 38 spells out some of the players in the Last Days coalition that God himself will destroy as they descend on Israel.

Some of those players are Turkey and Libya.

Today in the Turkish news headlines is this;
Prime Minister leaves for Libya

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan pays a 2-day visit to Libya, with a group of businessmen and deputies accompanying him.

The visit is expected to highlight bilateral trade relations during the first visit at Prime Ministerial level after 13 years. Premier Erdogan will contact Libyan President Muammar Kaddafi and Prime Minister Baghdadi Al Mahmudi.

Libya is the second largest field for Turkish construction investors after Russia. Turkish industrialists won tenders worth $8 billion in Libya in the last 6 years. Prime Minister Erdogan is scheduled to fly back to Turkey on Wednesday.

Also notice that Russia is mentioned in the same article. In Ezekiel 39, Russia is also a named player in the coalition.
