Calling the Flock Home Any Moment Now

 Just a heads up that many prophecy watchers are getting pretty excited about the Lord’s return to gather his bride.  Here’s another dude that asks us if we all can’t feel the intensity of the nearness of all these things coming to pass.

Anyone who cannot see and feel all the changes that have taken place since the last major election has either been in solitary confinement with no media available whatsoever, or has been in a coma. Luke 21:28 actually took place a year or two before our current president took office. “Now, when these things beginto take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (ESV all emphasis mine)

The “things” that are listed in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are well past the beginning stage, which should put a spirit of anticipation on the hearts of all who have received and accepted Jesus as their Savior. The attitudes given by Paul in 2 Timothy 3:1-7 are all present and are becoming more in the open than ever before.

Matthew states that these events are the “beginning of birth pains,” and many will fall away from the faith as lawlessness increases. Does anyone truly believe that everything is as it has been from the beginning, with no changes whatsoever? Those would be the “scoffers” as given in 2 Peter 3:3-4.

Before the man of lawlessness can be revealed, the Force that now restrains him has to be removed (2 Thessalonians 2:6-9). When a person receives and accepts Jesus as their Savior, the Holy Spirit indwells them. When the Holy Spirit is removed, all true believers will have to be removed as well, to keep God’s promise of our not going through the Tribulation/Wrath. That will be the “Harpazo,” “Rapture,” or the “taking up” of all of the Savior’s flock.

We’re told of a “strong delusion” from God in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 being given to those who will not accept the Savior so that they will believe all the false issues. They will be condemned for taking pleasure in unrighteousness.

Rioting and mayhem are being reported in various places daily. In some parts of the world, Christians are being martyred just for believing in Christ. When the ultimate antichrist appears, all who do not worship him but who claim Jesus as their Savior will be subject to being killed.

God promises in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, and Revelation 3:10 that those who are “in Christ” will not be here to go through the worst 7-year period of earth’s history. We will be removed according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. After that, it will still be possible for people to call on Jesus, but the cost will be significant, as given above. Revelation 20:4-6 speaks of the “tribulation martyrs” being brought back to life to reign with Jesus for the Millennial period, and from the emphasis given, there will be many of them.

God is allowing the evil progression to continue to fulfill Biblical Prophecy. This age we are now in is rapidly coming to an end, and the next stage will start soon. Meanwhile, God is providing time for people to call out and be saved (Romans 10:9-13). He doesn’t want anyone to be condemned (2 Peter 3:9) but eventually will send Jesus to take his “church” Home.

Keeping up with what the prophecy experts are saying, it becomes obvious even to a novice such as I that we are in line for a major change very soon. Now is not the time to put off planning for your eternity. If, for some reason, you have been delaying until later to call on Jesus to save you, that “later” is here right now. He could be calling His flock Home at any moment now. All who delay past that point will soon realize how big a mistake they have made.

“Destruction of the World” Forecast

We post this article simply for the severity of the language. A few days ago Putin warned that a war between Russia and America has a very real chance of going nuclear.  Today we hear a similar comment from a popular former Congresswoman.

Former US congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard issued a blunt warning via Twitter on Thursday about rising America-Russia tensions, arguing a conflict between “two nuclear armed powers” can only end in “the destruction of the world and life as we know it.” 

“Warmongers” currently in office, the Democrat argued, are escalating tensions with Russia. President Joe Biden and other administration officials have issued multiple threats to Russia should they move troops into Ukraine, something some US officials claim is likely because of recent military movements. Moscow has denied this, saying these troop maneuvers are an internal matter and any allegations of a planned offensive are groundless.  

Gabbard, one of the more vocal Democratic Party critics of the current administration, included a Fox News interview clip in her tweet. In it, she specifically pointed to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan as supporters of “regime change wars.” She added that they are the people “influencing the decisions that are being made by this White House.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki warned this week that there would be “severe costs to the Russian economy” if it invades Ukraine. This statement followed reports that US officials have been considering strict economic sanctions on Russia, as well as export restrictions that could potentially affect major industries. 

Biden similarly warned during a lengthy press conference on Wednesday that invading Ukraine would be a “disaster” for Russia, arguing the severity of the American response would depend on Russia’s specific actions.

“It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not do,” he said. “But if they actually do what they're capable of doing with the forces amassed on the border, it is going to be a disaster for Russia if they further invade Ukraine.”

Another Proud Moment for Minnesota Politicians

 Angie is a lesbian married to a woman and she saw fit to read a pro-transgender book produced by the organization that her wife works for.  Newsflash;  young girls aren’t allowed to vote or drive because their young brains are far from formed so certainly they are incapable of deciding that they are boys.  Folks on the Left are literally destroying this nation right before our eyes.  Our founding fathers would be so confused if they could see us now.  So woke!  So proud!

U.S. Rep. Angie Craig took to the House floor last week to read a children’s book about a young girl who decides she is a boy.

The book, “Calvin,” was produced by the Human Rights Campaign, where Craig’s wife works as the director of the Welcoming Schools program, according to The Washington Free Beacon.

“It is critically important to make sure that transgender and nonbinary youth not only feel supported but valued and affirmed for who they are,” Craig said before reading the book.

Craig read the book in recognition of the annual “Jazz & Friends National Day of School and Community Reading,” a trans rights campaign sponsored by her wife’s organization. She marked the occasion on the House floor last year as well.

The book “Calvin” is on the Human Rights Campaign’s recommended reading list for children in grades K-2. Its goal is to “help students understand what it means to be transgender” and increase “student understanding of ally behavior.”

The teaching document for the book suggests pairing it with the “Gender Snowperson” to help students “break down the concepts of … gender identity … sexual orientation … pronoun assigned at birth (sex assigned at birth) and gender expression.”

Also on the Human Rights Campaign’s book list is “Born Ready: The True Story of a Boy Named Penelope” and “Jacob’s School Play: Starring He, She, They,” both intended for preschoolers.

Putin's Bluster?

 Some serious words are being said by Russia's Czar Putin.  He is warning the world not to go down a certain path.  A war with Russia has some very real potential of going nuclear and right now they have a missile defense system which has tipped the balance of power in their favor.

At this point we aren't real concerned that the world is going to embark on a nuclear war but this could certainly be foreshadowing of what's coming during the Great Tribulation. Jesus clearly tells us that if he didn't intervene by His return to earth that NO FLESH would survive those days.

The Biden administration seems to think that there won't be any serious consequences for endlessly provoking the Russians, but Russian President Vladimir Putin definitely seems to understand what is at stake.

Following a very lengthy discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron, Putin issued a very ominous warning to the press...

'I've been saying it, but I'd very much want you to finally hear me, and to deliver it to your audience in print, TV and online.

'Do you understand it or not, that if Ukraine joins NATO and attempts to bring Crimea back by military means, the European countries will be automatically pulled into a war conflict with Russia?'

War with Russia should be something that we try extremely hard to avoid.

Because once a war with Russia starts, there is a very good chance that it will eventually go nuclear.

Putin says that he does not want such a conflict, and he told the press that there will be "no winners" if it actually happens...

'Of course the military potential of NATO and Russia are incomparable. We understand it.

'But we also understand that Russia is one of the leading nuclear states, and by some modern components it even outperforms many.

'There will be no winners. And you will be pulled into this conflict against your will.

'You won't even have time to blink your eye when you execute Article 5 (collective defence of NATO members)....

'Mr President Macron, of course, doesn't want this. And I don't want it. And I don't want it....which is why he is here, torturing me for six straight hours.'

But even though Putin believes that there would be "no winners" in a nuclear war, he has still been preparing the Russians to fight one.

The development of the S-500 missile defense system was game changing.  According to the Russian Defense Ministry, it has "no analogs" anywhere in the world...

"The S-500 anti-aircraft missile system has no analogs in the world and is designed to defeat the entire spectrum of existing and promising aerospace attack weapons of a potential enemy in the entire range of altitudes and speeds," the defense ministry said in a statement.

Unfortunately, the Russians are quite correct about the S-500.  There isn't anything like it anywhere else in the world, and it gives the Russians a tremendous advantage.

It has been designed to be able to intercept and bring down any incoming threats, and that includes intercontinental ballistic missiles from the United States...

As we have posted in the past, Putin is the top candidate to fulfill the role of Gog of Magog.  Also interesting in that he mentioned being "tortured" by a long meeting with Emmanuel Macron who is the leading candidate to fulfill the role of Antichrist.

Burned by Fire and The Fear of the Lord

 It would seem that we have all become so casual in our worship of God. We bring in our food and coffee into the sanctuary and hope to be entertained and kept awake on Sunday morning so that “we get something out of it.”  I’m guessing most of us aren’t focused on The Fear of the Lord as we sit down.

In my daily Bible reading we read about Aaron’s sons who offered incense to God in an unauthorized way.  God didn’t appear and say, “that’s cool boys!  It’s all good!  I love y’all no matter what you do!”  Nope!  He instantly consumed them by fire.  “It’s a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God”

I’m thankful we have a new covenant through Jesus and that HE brings us peace with God.  This story reminds me of this fact. It’s also evident how much you would fear the Lord if you had witnessed these events in the days of Moses.  Also note that Aaron wasn’t allowed to mourn for his boys or he too would be killed by God.

Leviticus 10

Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command. 2 So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. 3 Moses then said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke of when he said:

“‘Among those who approach me
    I will be proved holy;
in the sight of all the people
    I will be honored.’”

Aaron remained silent.

4 Moses summoned Mishael and Elzaphan, sons of Aaron’s uncle Uzziel, and said to them, “Come here; carry your cousins outside the camp, away from the front of the sanctuary.” 5 So they came and carried them, still in their tunics, outside the camp, as Moses ordered.

⁶ Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, “Do not let your hair become unkempt^[a] and do not tear your clothes, or you will die and the Lord will be angry with the whole community. But your relatives, all the Israelites, may mourn for those the Lord has destroyed by fire. ⁷ Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting or you will die, because the Lord’s anointing oil is on you.” So they did as Moses said.

Something is Coming

 The preparations for convincing the world that aliens exist and are visiting earth continue.  Of course Bible readers understand they are nothing more than demons in disguise.  We believe this will be part of the Great Delusion mentioned in II Thessalonians following the rapture.

Top DFL Strategist Wants to Punch Unvaccinated in the Face

 The love of most will grow cold.

In our previous post we pointed out the data of how unhappy folks on the Left are.  Here's more evidence.

Democratic strategist James Carville vented and came unglued on his podcast last week, cursing out the unvaccinated, calling them a “piece of sh*t” and then expressing that he wanted to punch them in the face and have immunity for doing so.

Carville was speaking with journalist Al Hunt during Thursday’s episode of “Politics War Room with James Carville & Al Hunt” when he made the offensive comments. A listener asked why they thought President Joe Biden hadn’t passed a bill that would block unvaccinated Americans from interstate travel and Carville could not hold back his anger towards the unvaccinated.

That’s when Carville decided it was time to go off on Americans who have chosen not to get the COVID vaccine. He suggested that a law should be passed giving people immunity from assaulting someone who has not been vaccinated and doesn’t have a medical reason for not getting the jab.

“I wish what they’d do is pass a law to make you immune from liability if you punch some unvaccinated person right in the face, which I’d really like to do,” Carville viciously stated. “If you ask me what’s my first reaction to you if you’re not vaccinated, you don’t have any medical reason not to be, you’re a piece of sh*t, OK? I just want to punch you in the g**damned face. That’s the way I look at these people.”

Since many folks who refuse the Covid vaccine are Bible believers, one can see how the godless are going to continue to be exasperated, angry and even violent towards those who disagree with their narrative.

One can also see how a great cheer will go up from planet earth when the left-behind folks realize that the thorns in their side (Followers of Christ) have vanished in the blink of an eye.  When the rapture happens, folks might at first be scared as to what has happened to millions of people.  But when they start to ask around and CNN puts it together that mostly unvaccinated people are the ones who have vanished, a small applause will start to grow into a large applause.

And when the "aliens" show up and announce that they have taken all the folks away for "de-brainwashing" and to be vaccinated "before they rejoin us on earth to enter the Age of Aquarius", the applause will grow into a mighty cheer.

It could happen that way.

Why Are Leftist Americans So Miserable?

 We have all heard the stats that America consumes more anti-depressant pills than any other nation on earth.  Here we are, the most affluent, the most free, the most proud, the most brave but the most miserable at the same time.

And of course leading the charge on misery is folks on the Left.  And as America indoctrinates more and more of our public school students and turns them Left, it stands to reason that more of them will end up miserable and taking happy pills to get by.

We know the answer as to WHY this is without reading the article.  "The joy of the Lord is my strength."

Real simple.  People who know Christ also know they have a purpose and also know they have a promise of eternal life.  Focusing on our incredibly bright future makes it much easier to live through some bumpy spots and tribulation on this earth.  After all, we only spend 50-100 years in these failing bodies before we trade them in for eternal bodies that CAN inherit the Kingdom and spend eternity there.  What is 50 years in comparison to eternity?  

Folks on the Right are more prone to be followers of Christ so are more prone to have the joy of the Lord in their lives.

Folks on the Left are more prone to be atheists, have no purpose except to be happy, and when global warming, lack of gun control and unvaccinated people ruin their day and steal their happiness, they become even more miserable.

But let's see if this article comes up with any more insight into this.

Replacing former President Donald Trump with President Joe Biden was supposed to bring joy to the land from sea to sea. We were going to be a united people at last. Every problem known to man would get solved by cradle-to-grave government. Biden was even going to save us from the rise of the oceans.

But just the opposite: A survey by the University of Chicago found that record percentages of people in 2021 described themselves as “unhappy.”

For most of the past 50 years, about 1 in 10 people have described themselves as unhappy. In 2021, 1 in 4 say they are unhappy. Typically, almost 1 in 3 say they are “very happy,” and now less than 1 in 5 do. The happiness index is falling like a stone. People are depressed.

Gee, I wonder why the public is so glum all of a sudden.

Let me count the ways. First, there is isolation and loneliness from lockdowns, stay-at-home orders and travel restrictions. Then there is out-of-control crime and a significant rise in business failures (from lockdowns), both clearly associated with depression. People are still worried about their health two years into the pandemic that Biden promised to shut down. The border is out of control.

Then there is the financial stress on families from everything being more expensive. Children are depressed because schools are still doing remote learning or they are stuck wearing masks for eight hours a day. The “woke” movement has people feeling like they are tied inside a social straitjacket. Nothing is funny anymore. Don’t you dare say an off-color joke or you will be banished.

People are afraid to laugh at anything for fear of offending someone somewhere. When was the last time you saw a funny movie?

But here’s what’s most interesting about the results of the happiness survey. The people with the most significant happiness deficiencies are Democratic voters. Liberals are miserable. Only 1 in 6 Democratic voters say they are “very happy.” Almost twice as many Republicans say they are “very happy.”

Why is that? I have several admittedly unproven hypotheses. I will toss them out, and readers can decide for themselves if they agree or disagree.

First, liberals are much less religious, patriotic and interested in getting married and having children than conservatives. It’s a Grand Canyon-sized division between liberals and conservatives. I’d venture to say that the love of country, God and family make people happy.

If you don’t believe in these things, you will likely believe in false idols, such as big government, as your savior. That’s hardly a path to happiness.

Liberals are less likely to be working and more likely to be on government assistance. But every study shows that work is highly associated with happiness. Giving a person a fish rather than teaching a person to fish leads to very different life satisfaction outcomes.

Liberals also live their lives in fear. Liberals are much more likely to believe that global warming will doom us than are conservatives. To listen to some of the more fanatical climate change worriers, they seem almost to want global warming to happen so we can pay penance for our sins to the planet. Similarly, from the start of the pandemic until recently, liberals were twice as likely to be “very worried” about COVID-19 than conservatives. There is something sociologically different about how liberals view risks than conservatives.

Finally, there is the geographical separation between conservatives camped in red states and liberals camped in blue states — the two Americas. Blue states shut down their economies. They shut down restaurants, schools, parks, theaters, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, beaches, bars and any other place where people could, God forbid, have fun.

Amid the dark days of the pandemic, I traveled to New York, California and Florida. New York and California were zombie zones. If people saw you on the street walking toward you, they would lift their masks and swerve so as not to get anywhere near you. They would scowl or look away.

Turns out this dude agrees with us.  People who love God, love their country and love their children are going to be more satisfied than people who believe Government needs to be their savior from all the hardships on planet earth.

Storm Warnings. The Signs of the Times

 It is amazing to me how many churches refuse to talk about prophecy, current events pointing to unfulfilled prophesies, Israel and the return of Jesus.  You would expect it from the unchurched. But the wolves in sheep’s clothing have invaded the seminaries who train the shepherds of the flocks and the walls come tumbling down.  Certainly, if the Lord came for His bride today it would fulfill the words of Jesus that today conditions on earth are similar to the Days of Noah.  The vast, vast majority have no clue what is coming.

The weather fascinates me. Some say I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to tracking storms. I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest forecasts.

 

Did you know that Jesus also referred to the weather watchers of His day? Luke 12:54-56 records the words he spoke to a crowd;

 

"When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, 'A shower is coming.' And so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, 'There will be scorching heat,' and it happens. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?"

 

In the above text, Jesus scolds the Jews for their ability to discern weather patterns, but not the signs telling them their Messiah stood in their midst.

 

Might Jesus make a similar statement today regarding Christians and pastors who remain blind to the numerous prophetic indicators of the last days that abound around us? I believe He would.

 

The prophetic signs of our day resemble a storm warning. The dark threatening clouds on our horizon point to nearness of the time when the four horses of Revelation 6:1-8 will burst out of their stalls and gallop across the earth.

 

For us as believers, the black clouds on the horizon signal the nearness of Jesus' appearing; we will be in heaven with Jesus when He opens the seals.

Famine Coming Like “We’ve Never Seen”

We did a blog post a few weeks ago about how fertilizer cost $425/ton last year but this year is $1650/ton. And of course millions of tons are used on farm fields around the world every year.  What will happen when farmers around the world can’t afford fertilizer?  Crop yields will plummet and here in America a box of Cheerios could cost $8 instead of $4.  Ethanol will prove too expensive to blend into our gasoline.  But in 3rd world countries who already spend 50% of their money on food, these lower yields could push tens of millions into starvation.

There WILL BE famines.

 “I want to say this loud and clear right now, that we risk a very low crop in the next harvest,” said Svein Tore Holsether, the CEO and president of the Oslo-based company. “I’m afraid we’re going to have a food crisis.”

Holsether says that a food crisis is coming because the cost to produce a ton of ammonia has gotten nearly ten times higher…

In Europe, the natural-gas benchmark hit an all-time high in September, with the price more than tripling from June to October alone. Yara is a major producer of ammonia, a key ingredient in synthetic fertilizer, which increases crop yields. The process of creating ammonia currently relies on hydropower or natural gas.

“To produce a ton of ammonia last summer was $110,” said Holsether. “And now it’s $1,000. So it’s just incredible.” Sadly, most people don’t even realize that this is happening, because the mainstream media is not really talking about it.

 

Eventually, however, everyone will be talking about this crisis because it is going to be a really, really big deal.

There is no way out, and global food supplies are going to get tighter and tighter.

I would act on this information while you still can.  Unfortunately, the vast majority of the population is going to be absolutely blindsided by what is coming.
