Emmanuel Macron Visits Blast Site in Beruit

 The Bible is clear that the Antichrist won’t be revealed until after the restrainer is removed. Most prophecy watchers believe this to be the Holy Spirit which will be removed from earth when all followers of Christ are removed in the rapture.

That being said, if the rapture is close and he’s already on earth, it’s kinda fun to try and figure out who he is!  Emmanuel means “God with us”.  Macron means “mark”.  So some folks are putting their Vegas bets on the President of France emerging as the Antichrist.

Some welcomed Macron like a saviour, while only a few heckled him, arguing that his mere presence in Lebanon would only serve to legitimize a political system they want to kick out wholesale.

Media Says Cashless Society is Only a Conspiracy Theory

We can see it coming almost daily.  "The wise will understand".  We see news about a coin shortage and we see what's coming. We see signs on businesses that say "No cash accepted" and we know its coming.  The day is coming when cash will be deemed too cumbersome and full of germs to be useful in the modern society.  

But now the media is going to label such thoughts as "Conspiracy theory".  They will attempt to put it in the "nonsense bin" along with UFO's, Bigfoot and cattle mutilations.  

Before there was a coin shortage, cash was under attack in the media and portrayed as a COVID-19 hazard. Now news outlets are making sure everyone knows only to think of a looming cashless society as a "conspiracy theory."

At the height of anxiety over the coronavirus, CNN berated the American people for using cash. "Do NOT take a bunch of cash out of the bank" rang one headline, and "Dirty money: The case against using cash during the coronavirus outbreak" read another.

CBS News similarly ran an anti-cash story at the time, as did other mainstream networks, but more recent stories feign concern about the growing suspicion of an impending digital coup against paper and coined money.

It's always funny how the media manipulates emotions, giving us something to be outraged about one day and trying to calm us down the next day if we're outraged about the wrong thing.

Americans should be concerned about moves away from cash, and there is nothing wrong about questioning who would benefit and who would lose in a cashless society. If that makes you a conspiracy theorist in the eyes of the average journalist, who cares.

It was just last year that Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan said, "We want a cashless society."

Big banks and financial institutions would reap obvious benefits, beyond saving on the costs of transacting in coins and paper as well as transporting them. They would have that much more data to collect in bulk on their customers.

In the era of Cancel Culture, other more nightmarish consequences are stunningly easy to fathom. The difference between being banned from social platforms and financial platforms is a matter of degree, and the latter is already happening.

There is no downside to a cashless society for its fiercest proponents. They aren't worried about finding an under-the-table side hustle or working for tips. They aren't kids trying to mow a lawn or who are otherwise priced out or regulated out of the market by minimum wage and child labor laws.

Many anti-cash advocates also tend to favor negative interest rates and much freer rein for central banks. Such policies are easier to enact without physical forms of legal tender. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell expressed his aversion to negative interest rates "for now" back in May, but President Donald Trump and other monetary theorists support the idea.

Negative interest rates mean an end to savings, so that consumerism becomes all-encompassing for economic activity. The permanent stimulus would become a compulsory force, rather than a relief amid a downturn.

So, the threat of a cashless society is real. How urgent the threat is in today's fast-paced and unpredictable environment, people will have to decide for themselves.

Remember what we have blogged about in the past?  Negative interest rates?  As the article says, cash makes negative rates much harder to carry out...because people would go the bank and take out their $10,000 and hold it in their drawer rather than paying the bank $200 to hold it for a year.

And of course if everyone went to the bank to withdraw their savings, the financial system would have a fit.  

So the answer that is coming is a cashless society.

So what if they want to call us conspiracy theorists?  We know it's coming cuz the Bible tells me so.

CA Church Threatened With $1000/day Fines

The rules are so arbitrary. The casinos can be open, the pot-stores and liquor stores for sure can stay open but if you are a church you have to close.  I talked to one basketball coach who was holding summer camps and had kids, mask-free, running up and down the courts but as soon as they left the court to go use the restroom or sit on the bench the State said they had to wear masks.  What??

One pastor in CA said 'enough'!  He said his church won't close.  Now the State of CA is threatening with daily fines and even arrests.

Pastor John MacArthur and Grace Community Church in a Los Angeles suburb have been served a letter from the city threatening to impose a $1,000 daily fine if the church does not comply with Gov. Gavin Newsom’s order for some churches in the state to be shuttered because of the coronavirus.

“The state has absolutely no power to impose the restrictions it is demanding,” Jenna Ellis, one of the attorneys representing the church, said in a report on The Federalist website. “This is not about health and safety, it is about targeting churches.”

In mid-July Newsom ordered churches in 30 counties, including Los Angeles County, to stop holding indoor services, but MacAuthor refused to comply, as Breitbart News reported, saying that Jesus Christ, not the state government, is the head of the church:

When any government official issues orders regulating worship (such as bans on singing, caps on attendance, or prohibitions against gatherings and services), he steps outside the legitimate bounds of his God-ordained authority as a civic official and arrogates to himself authority that God expressly grants only to the Lord Jesus Christ as sovereign over His Kingdom, which is the church. His rule is mediated to local churches through those pastors and elders who teach His Word (Matthew 16:18–19; 2 Timothy 3:16–4:2).

Therefore, in response to the recent state order requiring churches in California to limit or suspend all meetings indefinitely, we, the pastors and elders of Grace Community Church, respectfully inform our civic leaders that they have exceeded their legitimate jurisdiction, and faithfulness to Christ prohibits us from observing the restrictions they want to impose on our corporate worship services.

“Now, the city of Los Angeles is punishing the church for its decision to continue gathering. In addition to fines and threats of arrest, Mayor Eric Garcetti has shown himself willing to use other tactics to keep residents from breaking shutdown orders,” The Federalist reported. “Back in April, he warned that he’d given the Department of Water and Power permission to shut off utilities for nonessential businesses that were operating in defiance of restrictions.”

The Federalist said that in addition to Ellis, who also is a private legal adviser to the Trump 2020 campaign, Charles LiMandri of the Thomas More Society is also providing legal representation for Grace Community Church.

“It is unconstitutional for Governor Newsom and the State of California to discriminate against churches by treating them less favorably than other organizations and activities that are not protected by the First Amendment,” LiMandri said.

We know there is much talk in churches about obeying authorities as commanded in Romans 13.  But we are also aware that when the authorities step into the realm of the relationship between Christ and His bride, the church, that we are commanded to disobey authorities BUT then be ready to face the consequences of disobedience.  Daniel being thrown into the lion's den is just one example.

I have an idea that the God of the Universe, Jesus Christ, is not afraid of the Coronavirus.  And He's not afraid of monetary threats.

Pyramids of Egypt Built by Aliens?

We think it very interesting how often the topic of “aliens” has been showing up in the headlines. Remember, no aliens evolved from nothing on other planets cuz evolution is a lie. The “aliens” of today are the same old demons/fallen angels who have been deceiving mankind since the beginning.  No doubt they are pepping for the Great Tribulation and the massive amount of deception and delusion that will take place during that time.

In a perplexing tweet, billionaire high-tech genius and space pioneer Elon Musk stated that aliens built the pyramids in Egypt. Though he was clearly trolling conspiracy theorists who believe extraterrestrials arrived on earth just to construct massive burial monuments to earthly Pharaohs, the theory has serious spiritual ramifications. 

Musk went on to suggest that Ramses II, credited with building the pyramids, was, in fact, an alien. Musk even gave the reason for his bizarre theory: 

“The Great Pyramid was the tallest structure made by humans for 3800 years,” Musk tweeted. “Three thousand, eight hundred years.” 

Despite Musk’s tweet, he has gone on record as not believing in the existence of extraterrestrials. In an open discussion with SpaceX employees in October 2019, Musk stated this explicitly.

“As far as we know, we’re the only consciousness or the only life that’s out there,” Musk said. “There might be other life, but we’ve seen no signs of it.”

EMPs are one of those things that many people think is fake, or over-blown, or a conspiracy theorist’s dream. But they are real. EMPs can be either natural, from things like extreme solar geomagnetic disturbances, or man-made like a large thermonuclear detonation or a cyberattack. If they are coordinated with physical attacks then things can get real dicey real fast.

Portland Protesters Burn Bibles

While rioters previously attacked federal buildings, businesses, and even officers, this weekend, they found a new target: Bibles.

A video posted to Twitter on Saturday shows rioters holding Black Lives Matter signs tossing Bibles into a fire. Bystanders stood and watched as the flames licked away at the pages of the books.
