Nations Who Persecute Christ Are Heading for Trouble

It should be obvious to the people of the world that the only nations of the world that are decent places to live have a history of Judeo-Christian values... while places that don't have Christ some place in their heritage, or are chasing out Christ, are either already in mayhem or heading for mayhem.

A view has now grown up in the West that religion in the public sphere is either irrelevant or positively harmful. Its good bits, such as loving your neighbour, say people like Richard Dawkins, have nothing intrinsically to do with religion. Its bad bits very much do, and they must be stamped out, or at least relegated to a completely private sphere in which people can mutter their weird incantations only behind closed doors.

It is believed that universal doctrines of human rights, enforced by the United Nations and by international courts, can settle all the moral stuff necessary to the running of society. All the rest is seen as superstition and bigotry. Despite a bit of bleating from Catholics, God was left out of the Constitution of the European Union. He had a lucky escape, one might think, but nevertheless it is significant that those planning Utopia for our continent felt they could dispense with Him.

At least two things are missed in this God-is-dead political order. One is that it ignores the basis of so many of the ideas it advocates. These ideas are not the result of intellectual virgin births in modern times. They have parentage. They could not have been conceived without Christian thought about the intrinsic dignity of each human person.

One of the main reasons that slavery was abolished in the Christian world (though it took a shamefully long time to happen) is that St Paul taught that no slavery could be approved by the faith because “we are all one in Christ Jesus”. Unfortunately, it is not naturally obvious to humanity that slavery is wrong. People like enslaving one another. The wrongness has to be re-taught in each generation. Post-God, it is not clear on what basis to teach it.

Look around you at the nations.  Iraq has chased out a million Christians and they now are killing teenagers for wearing tight jeans.  Afghanistan is a hell hole.  Every Muslim nation is messed up with their ideas of human rights and persecute you if you don't believe as they do.  Any people with wealth in China want to get out and dream of coming to America.  North Korea is literally like hell on earth.  Egypt will soon be in miserable chaos once the Muslim's take full control and chase out the Coptic believers who have been there for centuries.

Without Christ how do you teach a society about what is "good"?  Whose moral authority do you use if you can't stand on the teachings of the Bible and believe that the Bible is, in fact, divine?

Remember friends, we were not sent to earth to make the earth a better place.  No, we were sent here to preach the Gospel and snatch people from the fire.  The fact that we DO make the world a better place for the short time that we are here, has nothing to do with us and EVERYTHING to do with the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.

The Holy Spirit restrains evil...and when the Christians are driven out of nations, those nations will become evil very quickly.

If we can learn this simple lesson by observing the nations of the world now just imagine what will happen when God draws all of the Holy Spirit off this earth during the rapture?  It will be a time of misery like the world has never seen...and will never see again.

Thank you Jesus for all you have done and are yet to do.

Cashless Society Closer Than You Think

Sorry for the shortage of blog posts, but my wife and I were in the wilderness of New Mexico and believe it or not WiFi was sketchy...but now we are home.

A few weeks ago I had seen a pretty shocking statistic about how few transactions are taking place in America and The West that involve cash, meaning most are done with credit cards, PayPal, and debit cards.

Most people think of a cashless society as something that is way off in the distant future. Unfortunately, that is simply not the case. The truth is that a cashless society is much closer than most people would ever dare to imagine. To a large degree, the transition to a cashless society is being done voluntarily. Today, only 7 percent of all transactions in the United States are done with cash, and most of those transactions involve very small amounts of money. Just think about it for a moment. Where do you still use cash these days? If you buy a burger or if you purchase something at a flea market you will still use cash, but for any mid-size or large transaction the vast majority of people out there will use another form of payment. Our financial system is dramatically changing, and cash is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. We live in a digital world, and national governments and big banks are both encouraging the move away from paper currency and coins. But what would a cashless society mean for our future? Are there any dangers to such a system?

Are there any dangers??....Yes!!...the Antichrist will come looking for you if you don't take the mark that will be required to buy and sell on such a system.

Of course you and I know that the current system needs to fade away (or collapse) to make way for the new one...and this collapse also may be much closer than anyone can imagine.

IMF Asks USA for Money

Here's a funny seems the IMF is asking America for some more money so they can bail out Europe. we LOOK like we have any money to lend?  What do you propose we do...borrow another $trillion from China so we can give it to the IMF?  If that's the case, why don't they just call China and ask for the loan directly?

Of course we know the reason for that....because the world wants the USA to co sign any loan...because the world still has confidence in the we are the LEAST WORST place to be....for now.

Speaking in Washington, Ms Lagarde said the 187-nation IMF needed more firepower to tackle financial crises raging around the globe, arguing it was in the interests of the US to pitch in and help Europe.

"Americans might ask themselves: why should what happens in the rest of the world concern us? Don't we have our own problems?" she said.
"The answer is simple: In today's world, we cannot afford the luxury of staying in our own mental backyards.

"If the European economy falters, the American recovery and American jobs would be in jeopardy, so America has a large stake in how Europe fares - and how the world fares."

China Bankrupting America Now?

Remember how the USA bankrupted the Soviet Union?  We did it by announcing Star Wars Missile Defense program.  We knew it would cost a whole bunch of money and Russia knew they couldn't keep up with that level of military spending and they started coming apart.

Is China going to pull the same move on us?

Mark Stein, substituting for radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, was asked by a caller to the program on Friday, March 23, something like the following: “What do you think is China’s reason for building their military at such a rapid rate? Is it because they think they need to prepare to defend their interests against an attack? Or is it because they intend to attack others in a first strike at some point in the future?”

The British-accented political pundit said he personally senses that China is trying to bankrupt the American economy in much the same way the U.S.–under Ronald Reagan’s presidency—caused the Soviet economy to implode. The twist, Stein implied, is that China is accomplishing the bankrupting process through the debt owed China by this nation. Fully 80 percent of China’s military buildup, he believes, has been funded to this point by the interest on the debt America owes the Chinese communist government.

For most of the latter part of the twentieth century, the fear was that the Chinese communist leaders would one day use their overwhelming numbers to militarily invade all of the territory under their hegemony. But then came the new-found economic development brilliance within that leadership. And now, it is an invasion of another sort–replacing the petrodollar and the U.S. with another sort of power-wielding currency.

We know our dollar will not be the reserve currency WILL FAIL...because all paper currencies eventually do.  The question is whether it will happen really fast or if it will be a slow deterioration.

What we do know is that China is not going to loan us money to go to war against them...that just ain't happenin'.

Massive Wealth Destruction Coming

As America dines on American Idol, reading PEOPLE Magazine and Twittering away...something rather large may be lurking not far away.

Runaway government debts have triggered uncontrolled money printing that in turn will lead to inflation that will decimate portfolios, according to the latest forecast from "Dr. Doom" Marc Faber.

Investors, particularly those in the "well-to-do" category, could lose about half their total wealth in the next few years as the consequences pile up from global government debt problems, Faber, the author of the Gloom Boom & Doom Report, said on CNBC.

Efforts to stem the debt problems have seen the Federal Reserve expand its balance sheet to nearly USD 3 trillion and other central banks implement aggressive liquidity programs as well, which Faber sees producing devastating inflation as well as other consequences.

"Somewhere down the line we will have a massive wealth destruction that usually happens either through very high inflation or through social unrest or through war or credit market collapse," he said. "Maybe all of it will happen, but at different times."

Of course we all KNOW in our heart of hearts that you simply can't create wealth just by printing paper or adding a bunch of $000's together.....but we simply don't want to imagine the consequences of America becoming like Greece, or worse than Greece.

It's much more fun to sit by the pool reading PEOPLE and just not allowing your mind to dwell on any of the "bad" stuff.  Afterall, this is America!  Nothing bad can ever happen here!
