Wearing a Mask is Only Virtue Signaling

I fear that wearing masks in America is here to stay. They are symbols of what side of the disease and germ debate you are on. Even though they really do nothing to prevent the spread of disease among the general public.  They are simply reflexive behavior in the face of a pandemic.

In the past week, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the New England Journal of Medicine have admitted that masks are little more than symbols. Virtue signaling.

For those of you who shout “science” like it’s a Tourette tick, this is from the New England Journal of Medicine on May 21, 2020:

We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.

New Pixar Movie, “Out”, Pushes Homosexual Agenda

I don’t think we are going to stop the flood of pro-homosexuality coming at us from all directions.  All we can do is watch it come and understand that it’s one more sign of the lateness of the hour. We await our blessed hope!

“A Gay Man’s Journey to Acceptance”

Now, Pixar, that incredibly gifted animation studio, is joining in the culture wars, for the first time featuring an openly gay lead character. In fact, his gayness is a central part of the story. As explained in the New York Times, “The animated film follows a gay man’s journey into acceptance as he prepares to move into a city with his boyfriend.”

And he comes out to his family with the help of his dog. How delightful! To be sure, this is just a 9-minute film, but there’s not much of a leap from 9 minutes to 90 minutes.

What’s the Big Deal?

You might say, “You need to chill! What’s the big deal? This is not some full-length release, plus you can’t expect Pixar to quote the Bible.”

Well, if it’s so insignificant why are gay activists so excited about the film? And why is Disney Streaming, where the film was released, touting it so highly? As the Disney tweet announced last week, “The latest heartwarming tale from @Pixar’s #SparkShorts. Start streaming Out tomorrow on #DisneyPlus.” (Yes, the name of the film is “Out.”)

Turkey Says Temple Mount is Red Line for All Muslims

Turkey is a major player in the Last Days.  Jerusalem and the Temple Mount will have all eyes upon it during the Last Days.  So when we see a headline with both those topics mentioned, it’s good to pay attention to it.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a video message posted on social media on Monday that “we will not allow Palestinian lands to be offered to anyone.”

In the video, which was addressed to American Muslims in honor of the Eid al-Fitr holiday marking the end of Ramadan, Erdoğan said that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem was a “red line” for all Muslims.

“I would like to reiterate that al Quds as-Sharif [the Temple Mount], the holy place of the three religions … is a red line for all Muslims in the world,” he said.

The appeal appears to be an effort by Erdoğan to mobilize the American Muslim against the U.S. government’s decision to allow Israel to apply its law to parts of Judea and Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.

9 Signs Of The End Times That Are Upon Us

As you look around the world and take note of all the events happening at the same time, it would seem that The Lord is reminding His people to wake up, be ready and not to be surprised if the Bridegroom returns for his bride.

Global events are beginning to spiral out of control, and this has created a resurgence in interest in what the Bible has to say about "the last days".  Throughout the Scriptures, we are warned about apocalyptic events that will precede the second coming of Jesus Christ, and a lot of people are wondering if that period of time is now upon us.  

All over the Internet, people are engaging in all sorts of speculation and lots of really bizarre theories are being thrown around, and this is causing a great deal of confusion.  But all of this confusion is not necessary, because the Bible is actually very clear about what is coming.

Jesus had quite a bit to say about the time just before His return, and He specifically instructed His followers to watch for certain signs.  He wanted us to understand that He knew about all of these things in advance, that He has a plan, and that He is in control.

So there is no need to fear.  In fact, Jesus told us these things so that we would not be afraid.

Wild Animals Roaming City Streets

The Bible tells us in Revelation, Chapter 6:
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

So the wild beasts of the earth are going to kill lots and lots of people during the Great Tribulation.

Now watch this video from Inside Edition TV that shows wild beasts wandering around the cities of the world.  With all the people locked in their houses for fear of COVID-19, the animals are free to go wherever they wish without any humans to make them afraid.

Could this be another foreshadowing of how close planet earth is to the Great Tribulation?
