The Dark Years for Planet Earth Are Now Starting in Earnest

If this guy is telling the truth about what he sees coming, it sounds like the Great Tribulation must be really close.  The Bible tells us there won’t be any escape and the whole world will be caught up in it.  Pray for discernment as to what we are all supposed to be doing as we occupy until the Lord comes.

*****************************

The global market for grains, vegetable oil and fertilisers was already extremely tight before Russia’s attack.

What is happening now is a commodity black swan across both energy and agricultural resources.

The World Food Programme warned of a catastrophic scarcity for several hundred million people last November. What is happening now will make this exponentially worse.

“Everything is going up vertically. The whole production chain is under pressure from every side,” said UN’s ex-head of agricultural markets.

Energy and agricultural products are interlinked. Gas is feedstock for fertiliser production in Europe. Russia and Belarus together account for 1/3 of the world’s potash exports.

Around 33% of world exports of barley come from Russia and Ukraine together, 30% of wheat, 20% of maize and 80% of sunflower oil.

The consequences are unforeseeable.

UN’s Food and Agricultural Organisation (FOA) are reporting a 43% increase in food price since 2020. And remember this was before the real problems had started.

I have for quite a few years warned about the coming inflation, most probably leading to hyperinflation, based on unlimited money printing.

But the dynamite of a global commodity crisis and shortages thrown into the already catastrophic debt and monetary fire will create an inferno of nuclear proportions.

If a miracle doesn’t stop this war very quickly (which is extremely unlikely), the world will soon be entering a hyperinflationary commodity explosion (think both energy, metals and food) combined with a cataclysmic deflationary asset implosion (think debt, stocks and property).

The world will be experiencing totally unknown consequences without the ability to solve any of them for a very long time.

All the above will most likely happen even without a global war. If the war spreads outside Russia and Ukraine, then all bets are off. At this point I am not going to speculate about such an outcome since what is standing in front of us currently is certainly bad enough.

So is there any good news? Well, first of all as I often repeat, family and a small group of friends and colleagues will be invaluable in the coming crisis.

Almost Half of Americans Living Paycheck to Paycheck

When gas jumps $1/gallon in 1 day and now it costs an extra $20/week to fill your car or truck, that ends up being about $80/month or $960/yr.  When absolutely everything in the grocery store goes up and costs your small family an extra $50/week that adds up to about $2600 per year.

Clearly, if you are living paycheck to paycheck right now and you just saw all your expenses, for higher priced goods, go up by $5000, your pay is not going to keep up that fast.

And this is a big problem with inflation.  The liberal elites won't really feel it at all because necessities are such a small part of their expenditures.  But a large amount of Americans could be driven into bankruptcy and hunger by inflation.

Even as some Americans saw their net worth rise over the last two years, 70% found themselves living paycheck to paycheck at some point during the worst of the pandemic, and nearly half are living paycheck to paycheck right now, a new survey found.

The survey found that the long-term health and financial impacts of the pandemic continue to impact communities across the country, according to Real Estate Witch, a research and data firm that, along with its sister company Clever Real Estate, has been collecting data at roughly six-month intervals since Covid-19 arrived on the scene,

“As the national case count reaches more than 78 million, experts estimate 27% to 33% of those who contract the virus are living with long-term side effects such as fatigue, brain fog and muscle pain,” wrote Taelor Candiloro, lead research analyst on the study. “Meanwhile, rental rates have leapt 17.8% over just this past year, and Americans have quit their jobs in droves.”

There continues to be so much upheaval, she noted, that much of the recovery progress seen in early 2021 has stalled.

“Before the study was done, based on the narratives we’ve all seen in the news, I had a grasp on the health implications of Covid and the fact that contracting the virus can definitely impact your socio-economic situation and your financial situation,” Candiloro said in an interview. “But it’s another thing to then see that in actual numbers. The magnitude of this really hit me.”

The online survey of 1,000 adults, conducted in January, revealed the lengths that Americans have gone to in order to make ends meet as the stimulus checks and unemployment benefits of 2020 and 2021 ended. Survey participants reported that, for the first time in their lives, 28% pulled from emergency funds or savings, 25% added another job for additional income, 23% received food stamps and 22% took on additional credit card debt.

“It’s really significant to see those numbers and to understand what people have been experiencing over the last two to three years,” she said.

These were among the survey’s findings:

• 90% of Americans say they’re stressed about pandemic-related issues, and 32% are even more stressed about the pandemic than they were last year.

• 71% of families still have not recovered financially from the Covid-19 pandemic.

• 52% of parents believe it will take up to five years for their finances to recover, while one in seven don’t believe their finances will ever recover.

• 80% of parents who have children under 18 are struggling to balance work and disrupted schooling, and 22% worry that it’s hurting their chances of earning a raise or promotion.

-- More than one-quarter (29%) of parents living with long Covid say childcare responsibilities have limited their chances of earning a raise or promotion.

• 41% of Americans have nothing in savings at this time, and another 40% believe they will run out of savings in 2022.

• 75% of Americans have non-mortgage debt, and of those, 41% are stressed about their current financial situation.

-- Only 22% believe they can pay off their debt within a year.

• 34% of renters have missed a rent payment, while 28% of homeowners have missed a mortgage payment within the last year.

All of this angst against a backdrop of a buoyant stock market.

“The population is dense enough and distribution of wealth staggered enough that the stock market can be doing this well and still lots of people are penny pinching,” Candiloro said. “It’s interesting to see as a whole nationally we’re doing well but when you break that down into individual puzzle pieces, you get a different picture.”

Here;  Nearly Half Of Americans Living Paycheck To Paycheck, Survey Says (fa-mag.com)

We know that not all Americans are hard-working and responsible.  A certain amount of these are playing video games, smoking pot in their mom's basement and waiting to get another "Relief" check from the government.  Others are just lazy and don't like doing anything that isn't fun.  But others might be showing up for work making $20/hour but realizing that $1500/rent, groceries, health insurance and two kids eating in your dining room simply makes you a check to check person.

They’re Working Overtime to Cover it Up

Some of you might be familiar with a conservative named Mark Dice.  He has a YouTube channel where he seeks to uncover hypocrisy of the Left and blow the whistle on Big Tech and their attempts to silence any information that refutes their agreed upon narrative.

In this video he shows the hypocrisy of Big Tech censoring or blocking people or groups from their platforms.  Currently Putin is allowed to Tweet but Donald Trump is blocked.  Neo Nazi battalion In Ukraine had been blocked but now that they are fighting Russians, social media has unblocked them.

As he points out, there is a TON of untrue things flying around social media but it’s not up to Big Tech to tell us their version of truth.

Remember when MSM said that the Covid vaccine would prevent you from getting Covid or spreading Covid?  Anyone who suggested otherwise was harassed and blocked.  And yet now we know what they were blocking was actually true.

Turkey Receives Israeli Delegation for First Time in 14 Years

We aren't sure if this qualifies as good news or not, but in light of all the bad news headlines running around the world today, we are going to label this headline as INTERESTING NEWS.

The Bible says that Turkey will one day join a coalition of Russia and Iran and seek the destruction of Israel and the looting of their wealth.  God will not allow it.

So we have been watching Turkey these past 14 years of blogging.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog made a historic visit to Turkey on Wednesday when he met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The visit marks the first time Ankara received an official Israeli delegation after fourteen years of ice-cold relations.

Following his meeting, Israel’s 11th president and first Lady Michal Herzog visited the Neve Shalom Synagogue in Istanbul on Thursday morning, where they met representatives of the Turkish Jewish community.

Herzog told community members that he and Erdogan had “a good, open and honest conversation.”

“I told him how important the Israel-Turkey relationship is to me. I told him that I believe that all of us, the children of all religions in the Middle East, can and must live in peace. I was pleased to hear from him that he agrees with me and that he too thinks that regional stability is very important and that we must strengthen what unites us, what unites all religions and peoples,” said Herzog.

“We understood that both of us believe that in days like these, with the winds of war, and the terrible tragedy in Ukraine, we must walk down the path of the heritage of the Children of Abraham. A heritage of respect, tolerance, and friendship. Of a relentless struggle against racism, anti-Semitism, and hatred of the other.

“Our world needs more peace and fewer wars, tragedies and battles. In the words of the prayer: ‘May He who makes peace in His heights make peace upon us and upon all Israel; and say, Amen.’”

Here;  Turning over a new leaf? Turkey receives official Israeli delegation for first time in 14 years (israel365news.com)

At some point, Turkey is going to change today's "make nice" with Israel.  I'm guessing Israel is going to be surprised when that turn-around happens.

The Biggest Global Food Crisis of Our Generation is Coming

 There will be famine.

Ukraine is a huge producer of grain but the farmers have taken up guns rather than plows and planters.

Ships and truck drivers are part of the massive supply chain problems left over from Covid shut downs.

Diesel fuel necessary to plant crops is at $5/gallon.

Fertilizer for the grain fields was up 300% before the war broke out and who knows how much higher that number could go?

If you live in India, Africa or Central America and only make $5,000 per year, you simply don't have the money to buy food if food prices double.

If you live in America and a box of Cheerios costs $9, a steak is $32 and your car takes $100 worth of gas to fill it up, the Middle Class will be hurting.

By the end of 2022, we are going to witness very serious shortages of food in many parts of the globe.  In fact, World Bank President David Malpass is openly admitting that we are now facing "a huge supply shock" as a result of the war in Ukraine.

Of course we were already moving into a global food crisis even before the war erupted.

According to the UN, worldwide food prices in February 2022 were 20.7 percent higher than they were in February 2021, fertilizer prices have gone absolutely nuts, crop production is down all over the planet due to crazy weather patterns, and supply chain problems caused by the pandemic continue to create ongoing headaches.

But now that Russia has invaded Ukraine, that is going to push this rapidly growing global food crisis to a level that none of us have ever seen before.

Under normal conditions, Ukraine exports tremendous amounts of food and is considered to be one of the most important "breadbaskets" on the entire planet.

Unfortunately, everything has changed now, and this has pushed the global price of wheat up 55 percent since a week before the invasion happened...

Ukrainian farmers have been forced to neglect their fields as millions flee, fight or try to stay alive. Ports are shut down that send wheat and other food staples worldwide to be made into bread, noodles and animal feed. And there are worries Russia, another agricultural powerhouse, could have its grain exports upended by Western sanctions.

While there have not yet been global disruptions to wheat supplies, prices have surged 55% since a week before the invasion amid concerns about what could happen next. If the war is prolonged, countries that rely on affordable wheat exports from Ukraine could face shortages starting in July, International Grains Council director Arnaud Petit told The Associated Press.

I really don't like that "shortages starting in July" part.

That definitely sounds rather ominous.

Right now, the global price of food is the highest that it has ever been, and Russia and Ukraine normally account for "nearly a third of the world's wheat and barley exports".

Here;  The Biggest Global Food Crisis Of Our Generation Is Coming (prophecynewswatch.com)

Let's remember, when things get ugly and times are uncertain, our strength is in our salvation and our joy comes from the Lord.  I don't know what we well see happening this year but we have peace knowing that our Lord has it all under His control.  Nothing is happening outside of His grand plan.  He is the author of the very beginning and the very end.  We rest in that knowledge.

America, Your Grocery Bill is About to Go Up $1,000 per Month!

Is it possible that judgment has started for America?  Is it possible that 2 years of Covid shutdowns have crippled our supply chain making product prices soar?  Is it possible that printing trillions of dollars to save ourselves from financial collapse 14 years ago is now coming home to roost with rising inflation?  Is it possible that the perfect storm of Russia invading Ukraine, China readying to attack Taiwan and Israel getting ready to attack Iran could lead to such disruptions and price increases in America that the middle class begins to collapse?  I saw the liberal idiot, Stephen Colbert, say that he didn’t mind paying a few more bucks at the pump if it punished the Russians and helped Ukraine. He then joked that he really didn’t care cuz he drives a $200,000 Tesla electric car.  He makes $16,000,000 per year so paying a little more ain’t gonna hurt that “liberal elitist”.  But when rising fuel costs hit every single product that you buy and costs of daily items on everything from bread to tennis shoes goes up by 100%, and grocery bills rise by $500 and your truck costs $300 for a tank of gas...millions upon millions of Americans will be out of business.  And that’s when the collapse would happen. Please pray and remember that God has this all totally under control.

************************

But the war in Ukraine is set to put a major crimp in the ability of American farmers to import the nutrients they need just as the planting season approaches, with the U.S. and other nations levying sanctions on Russia for its aggressive invasion of Ukraine.

Ben Riensche, the owner of Blue Diamond Farming Company in Iowa and a farmer of 16,000 acres in that state, told Carlson that the sanctions will have a far-reaching impact on our food supplies in the very near future.

“Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to bring spiked food prices,” Riensche said. “If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1,000 a month, and it might not just manifest itself in terms of price. It could be quantity as well. Empty-shelf syndrome may be starting.”

Riensche went on to point out that costs to raise his crops have already gone up 40 percent because the cost of nitrogen is three times higher than last year. Phosphorus and potassium fertilizer prices have doubled, he added.

Democrats Would Flee if USA was Invaded Like Ukraine

No real surprise here!  Almost half of Democrats would pack their Prius, their Covid masks and their special pronouns and run to Canada if America was invaded.

*************

Specifically, a  Quinnipiac Poll asked Americans what they would do if they were in the same position as the Ukrainians are now: stay and fight, or leave the country? 68% of Republicans would stay and fight, while 28% would leave.  57% of Independents would stay, while 36% would leave, and, finally, only 52% of Democrats would stay and fight, with 40% indicating they would leave the country.

Israel Calls to Wage War Now on Iran Before Biden Signs Nuclear Deal

Of course Israel and Iran are two of the main players that the Bible mentions will be around during the very Last Days.  So with all that's going on in the world it's not surprising to see that Wars and Rumors of War are building with these players.

Trump ripped up Obama's sham nuclear deal that he signed with Iran.  And now Biden is looking to re-sign the same deal that his old Commander in Chief had previously put together.  Israel knew it was bogus all along and applauded Trump when he tore it up.

And now some in Israel are saying they better act against Iran right now before Biden inks the deal and give Iran a "canopy" to hide under.

Israel’s defense minister said on Monday that the time to act on Iran was now, before the ayatollahs’ regime was protected by a “nuclear canopy.”

“The world must mobilize to stop Iranian aggression,” said Benny Gantz in a post on social media, a day after Israel announced that the Israel Defense Forces had intercepted Iranian drones en route from Iran to Gaza last year.

Whether or not a new nuclear agreement is signed in Vienna between Iran and world powers, said Gantz, “it will not be the end of the road for us—nor should it be for the countries of the region and the world, which must continue to act against Iranian aggression.”

The State of Israel and its defense establishment would take all necessary measures, “political, economic and if needed, also military,” in order to defend our sovereignty and ensure the security of the citizens of Israel.”

Iran’s aggression, said Gantz, “whether it emanates from Iranian territory or through Iranian proxies, is a threat to global peace and to regional stability, as well as a threat to the State of Israel.”

It is now, while a nuclear agreement is being negotiated in Vienna, he continued, that we must remember: “If Iran reaches the nuclear threshold, it will become even more dangerous to world peace. Now is the time for the world to mobilize to stop it. As I have said in the past, the State of Israel will take all the measures necessary to prevent Iran from becoming an existential threat.”

Here;  Israel calls to wage war against Iran 'Now', before Nuclear Deal signed (israel365news.com)

So we have Russia fighting, Iran and Israel near the brink of fighting, now all we need is for Turkey to somehow get alongside Russia and/or Iran and the tri-fecta of Ezekiel 38 coalition will be up and operating.

You Will Be Destroyed

 Deuteronomy 4

25 After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time—if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God and arousing his anger, 26 I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed.

*************************

We know that God is never changing.  We know America is filled with idolatry.  We know that America was founded by God-fearing people who came to the new land to practice their religion.  We know that America very quickly grew to be the most powerful nation on earth.  We know that America recognized Israel as a new Jewish state just as quickly as Harry Truman could send a telegram.  We know the Bible says that nations will be blessed who bless Israel.  We know that many practices that America now approves of would be considered a “stench” in God’s nose.  We know that God can use whatever means He chooses to tear down a nation. So are we all prepared to worship and praise God even if the comfortable, wealthy, safe rug of America gets jerked out from under our feet?  Would it be within God’s domain to utterly destroy USA?

Demisexuality. It’s a Real Thing. Really!!

If you are going to stay “woke” you better spend time every morning understanding the thousands of new words and pronouns you will need to know in order to navigate the new sexualities and genders that are popping up like like popcorn.  Today we learn a new sexual orientation called demisexual.  This is when a person can’t get sexually attracted to another person unless there is a strong emotional bond first.  So being demisexual can be a real problem because imagine the horror and embarrassment of being an 18 year old girl at college getting ready to hump every guy you can only to find out you are NOT sexually turned on when you crawl into bed with someone you just met!  For sure we need to add a D to the LGBTQIA alphabet.  Also please remember that if you don’t understand this malady you may be demiphobic.

************************************************

Earlier this year, when then-New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s daughter, Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo, came out as ‘demisexual’, she was met with public condescension. Many mocked her  demisexuality – a lack of sexual attraction to others without a strong emotional connection. Few acknowledged demisexuality as ‘real’.

But although demisexuality isn’t widely known, it’s a sexual orientation like any other, that applies to people across the world.

Demisexuality, which falls on the asexuality spectrum, differs from simply wanting to wait for a deep bond to form before having sex with someone; rather, it’s more akin to the experience of being asexual until that type of connection forms, at which point the sexual attraction extends only to that person. For allosexuals, on the other hand (people who aren’t on the asexual spectrum), waiting to have sex until forming a deep connection is more of a preference, and less of necessity to developing sexual desire.

Kennedy-Cuomo’s announcement did have positive effects, says Kayla Kaszyca, a demisexual co-creator of the podcast Sounds Fake But Okay, in which she and her asexual, aromantic co-host Sarah Costello discuss love, relationships and sexuality on the asexual spectrum. In some cases, Kaszyca says Kennedy-Cuomo’s statement raised the profile of demisexuality, stoking “more discourse about it”.

IDF Shoots Down Armed Iranian Aircraft

Most of you don't need to be reminded that Iran will one day join a coalition led by Russia with the mutual plans of destroying Israel.  So of course this news is very prophetic.

In recent months, Israel has thwarted attempts to launch armed aircraft and drones from Iran, an IDF spokesman revealed Sunday evening, Channel 12 reported.

This was the first time, not only in Israel but also in the world, that F35 planes shot down two enemy aircraft in an air-to-air missile, the report said.

The IDF activity was carried out far from the border and did not threaten civilians or facilities, the spokesman said.

The F35 has a radar that can detect both small and slow targets – like the drones – as well as air-to-air missiles that can hit and intercept them, despite their size.

“UAV interceptions were carried out in the area’s skies in coordination with neighboring countries, thus preventing intrusion into Israel,” the spokesman said. “The UAVs were monitoring the control and detection systems throughout their flight.”

Israel has begun establishing a regional air defense program in cooperation with a number of countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf to detect and intercept unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles, with one country able to assist the defense of another, the report continued.

We can expect that headlines like this will increase as the run up to Ezekiel 38 draws near.

Does “Solo-Polyamory” Mean Having it All?

Many folks warned that once you changed the God-ordained definition of marriage, then the whole institution would become meaningless. And if marriage doesn’t exist anymore then the family won’t exist anymore.  This is exactly what the Evil One wants because he knows there is weakness in division and he can pick off our miserable kids and their depressed, hopeless parents one by one.  As you will soon read 43% of millennials say their ideal relationship would NOT be monogamous.  Nope!  No men ever invented marriage. No men ever sat around and agreed to tie themselves to one woman forever and only have sex with her no matter what!  It was God who said it and Satan wants it’s destroyed.  And with articles like this you can be quite certain that it’s heading for destruction.  Remember what we always said, polygamy is coming because the B in LGBT means bisexual, and if you’re bisexual you need to marry at least one man AND one woman.  Or maybe it’s easier to chuck marriage in the trash and just live with and have sex with whomever you want?

***************************************************

After Chris, 35, came out as bisexual three years ago, he decided that he “didn’t necessarily want to live a heteronormative life”. “I wanted to be able to date men and women simultaneously for my whole life,” says Chris, who is withholding his surname for privacy. “I felt  like monogamy would deny me something of myself.”

During the pandemic, Chris moved into an intentional, sex-positive community in Brooklyn, New York – a “safe space” where he could further explore his relationship with sex and sexuality. Through that community, he discovered a course called Open Smarter, which guided students through navigating various types of ethically non-monogamous relationships. That’s where he first heard the term ‘solo polyamory’. He quickly felt like it fit his dating style.

At its core, solo polyamory refers to people who are open to dating or engaging in multiple meaningful relationships without having a ‘primary partner’: one person to whom they’re committed above all other partners. Instead, the solo polyamorist might see themselves as their own primary partner, eschewing typical relationship goals, like merging finances or homes with a partner, and getting married and having children.

Solo polyamorists represent a small portion of polyamorists in general, many of whom tend to have or aim to have a primary partner, says Philadelphia-based sex educator and therapist Liz Powell, 39, so it’s inherently difficult to figure out what percentage of the overall population is engaging in relationships this way. However, some studies show younger generations are more likely to have entered into some kind of non-monogamous relationship than older generations.

Per a 2020 YouGov survey of 1,300 US adults, 43% of millennials said that their ideal relationship would be non-monogamous, while just 30% of Gen X said the same. Overall, research from 2016 synthesising two different US studies showed 20% of respondents engaged in a consensually non-monogamous relationshipat some point. But these studies don’t break down those numbers by specific types of non-monogamous relationships, so it’s impossible to say how many of those surveyed identify with solo polyamory.

Solo polyamory also doesn’t have to be forever. One could identify as solo poly today, but still wind up entering a more traditional relationship with a shared home or finances in the future – it doesn’t have to be a fixed identity to be valid, says New York-based sex researcher and consultant Zhana Vrangalova.

Chris, in fact, expresses interest in one day finding a primary partner, but says in the meantime being solo poly “allows me to date, have experiences with people, get to know a lot of different people, and have some of my needs met”. It’s similar to when he was dating around monogamously, he adds, “except now I’ve put a label on it to communicate to people what my intentions are”.
