UN Leaders Walk Out During Israel’s Speech

The entire world seems to be turning on Israel.  The UN scheduled a major meeting during Rosh Hashanah knowing Israel wouldn’t be there during one of their most important holy days and once Netanyahu showed up to speak lots of leaders got up and left.  The world should care less about what Iranian leaders say who knowingly sponsor terrorists around the world.  But instead they focus their hatred on Israel who are still missing hostages taken by Hamas 2 years ago.

You see, it’s real simple;  the Left divides every situation into oppressed and oppressors.  Then they side with who they believe are the oppressed.  That’s how you can come up with a stupid group like Gays for Gaza.  Gays are literally killed in Gaza but here in America they believe they are oppressed as gays and since they believe the Palestinians are oppressed by Israel they go to the Palestinian protests against Israel.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday mocked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after dozens of diplomats from dozens of countries staged a walkout of his speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.

“Today, the evil Zionist regime is the most despised and isolated regime in the world,” he said in a post on X, together with a photo of Netanyahu speaking to a largely empty General Assembly.

Netanyahu’s UNGA speech, which was played through massive loudspeakers that he ordered the Israel Defense Forces to install inside Gaza, lambasted Western leaders for recognizing a Palestinian state, and vowed that Israel will never allow the world to “shove a terrorist state down our throats.”

The walkout of the premier’s speech was organized by the Palestinian Authority, and included diplomats from nearly all Arab and Muslim countries, several African and Asian countries, as well as a number of critical European nations.

Europe is at Hybrid War With Russia

Europe is starting to understand that America is going to spend all our treasure to defend them.  If they want to have militaries to defend themselves against foreign aggressors then they are going to have to ramp it up and start putting money where their mouths are.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen warned Thursday a "hybrid war" has started in Europe after waves of drones shut down Danish airspace this week.

Danish authorities temporarily closed two major airports overnight Wednesday after drones were sighted in the skies, in what Copenhagen called a “hybrid attack” by a “professional actor," with several other airports across the country reporting similar incidents. Copenhagen and Oslo airports were also shut down Monday due to drone incursions, forcing flights to be canceled and stranding thousands.

The airspace breaches showed "we are at the beginning of a hybrid war against Europe," Frederiksen said in an address to the nation posted on social media. "I think we are going to see more of it ... We see the pattern, and it does not look good," she added.

Frederiksen said Danish authorities had yet to identify "who is behind the hybrid attacks against our airports and other critical infrastructure" but hinted the Kremlin was responsible.

"We can at least state that there is primarily one country that poses a threat to Europe's security — and that is Russia," she said.

Europe has been rattled by a series of airspace incursions involving Russian jets and drones in recent weeks. Estonia and Poland convened NATO members for urgent talks after accusing Russia of violating their airspace in separate incidents.

Moscow has denied responsibility for the Estonian incursion and said the Polish incident, which saw a swarm of drones cross into Polish airspace, was an accident.

Just hours after Frederiksen's address, Aalborg Airport in the country's north was briefly closed for the second night in a row due to a suspected drone incursion.

Frederiksen said she could not promise "no drones will cross the border" but added Copenhagen had "raised the alert level" and was stepping up its drone-repelling defenses.

 "This means that the defense and police will be more present with anti-drone capabilities around critical infrastructure in the coming time," she said, adding Ukraine was providing expertise on combatting drones.

Earlier this month, the Danish Defense Ministry announced it would purchase the Franco-Italian SAMP/T air defense system for 58 billion Danish kroner (€7.7 billion), its largest arms purchase ever.

Frederiksen ended her address by calling for Europe to ramp up defense spending. 

"That is why we are expanding the European defense industry, and that is why we are building up the defense industry in Denmark," she said. "The events of recent days emphasize how important this is."

The Staggering Reality of US Debt & the Reset That’s Coming

 I really hope Jesus comes for us before the collapse of our debt plays out.  America is in a financial pickle and it’s only getting worse.  Yes, whatever happens and however it happens, the rich will stay rich but most Americans will lose what little savings they have.  For now, lay up your treasure in heaven cuz it’s going to get really hard to store it on earth.

The Staggering Reality: US Debt in Numbers

Let’s first take stock of the shocking scale of America’s debt crisis: 

• $37.5 trillion in debt, with a debt-to-GDP ratio of 119%  
• That’s an average of $110,000 per person in the US, and $280,000 per household 
• Every year, the debt grows by $2.09 trillion (2024-2025), rising much faster than the economy 
• The interest bill is a staggering $882 billion per year, which is more than is spent on Medicare and Defense 
• Daily, interest payments are more than $2 billion, and this interest is paid before anything else like schools, roads, services, and even NASA funding 

These numbers are almost beyond comprehension, but the financial machine keeps running based on the simple fact that the US dollar remains the reserve currency of the world. But that, alone, is not going to stop the inevitable. 

No Country or Empire Has Ever Recovered From Here (Without a Reset)

The debt-to-GDP measure matters because it tells you how much output supports each dollar of debt service. America’s ratio is currently 119% and is projected to hit 156% by 2055. For reference, here’s a list of other countries and empires that surpassed the critical 100% mark, and how every one of them failed: 

• Looking all the way back to Ancient Rome, an empire that debased its currency, inflation rocketed, and the empire fractured 
• Britain lost its reserve-currency status after World War II and the pound fell in value by 50% as the baton passed to the dollar 
• Greece hit 146% in 2010 and needed bailouts 
• Japan moved past 100% in the 1990s, leading to a stagnant period of zero growth known as the “lost decades” 

Very few major powers have ever seen debt-to-GDP levels like this, and none of them survived without some kind of hard financial reset. Sustaining the current debt levels in the US would require decades of 6% real growth – which has never happened and never will – and even introducing a 100% tax rate would, amazingly, still not be enough to service the debt. And the ramifications of what’s to come will be felt worldwide. 

The Great Reset Theory: What Are the Options?

In theory, there are five ways to solve a financial crisis as disastrous as this, but only one works. 

• Debt jubilee or blanket forgiveness (deleting the debt) will never happen because it would blow up bond markets and pensions 
• Returning to asset-backed currency like gold is now impossible in a modern, levered economy 
• Modern Monetary Theory is largely dismissed as nonsense because markets eventually punish printing 
• De-dollarise, surrendering reserve status, is considered too costly, and US power still rests on the currency 

So, it seems there is only one viable option remaining: 

• Increase demand for government bonds by holding crypto and stablecoins at scale in national reserves, while secretly managing a controlled reset 

Maybe you’ve seen the patterns emerging already, or perhaps this is an entirely new concept to you. Either way, it’s happening, and we’ve even seen some of the same trends before. 

The Precedent: Nixon’s 1971 Shock

On 15 August 1971, President Nixon suspended dollar-gold convertibility as US gold reserves fell and inflation rose. This stopped central banks buying dollars, instead investing in gold, spiking the metal’s price by 25%. The dollar remained the reserve currency of the world, but inflation continued growing. In 2025, we have already seen countries who were previously big buyers of dollars and debt – China, India, Japan and others – reducing their purchases of US treasuries and instead turning to gold. The US dollar will retain its reserve currency status, but foreign bulk buys are slowing. 

Much of this is because of how they viewed the US’ response to Russia. After Russia had been a big buyer of US treasuries, bonds, and dollars, the US isolated Russia economically – and other countries want to offload the risk of ending up in the same boat. 

The Road to Financial Control: Digital Currencies Are Coming

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are governments’ next idea to monitor how you live. The ability of the government to seize or “switch off” personal funds, and diverting people from traditional banking or physical cash, would cause an enormous revolt. Except in a crisis. We’ve seen what happened during Covid-19, and the “emergency measures” most people blindly, immediately accepted – some of which were never rescinded. 

A major hack story by a foreign country, or bank outages, or ATM networks going “offline” for a few days would be the shoe-in for governments to require an “emergency” roll-out of a digital wallet. Within days, people would have to accept it to pay for food and fuel, with many even appreciating its convenience. Suddenly, your cash is tracked and control increases. But it may be the only way out of the debt crisis.

Daytime TV Host Speaks and Jokes of Rapture

As we watch the headlines, read our Bibles and focus on eternal things it’s natural to think about our wedding day…the day that the bridegroom comes for the bride.  Of course we are referring to the day when the Father sends the Son to collect His Bride, the church.  The Church He will come for made up of all people, dead or alive, who had or have the Holy Spirit and this goes back 2000 years to the Jewish Feast of Pentecost.  

The past few months there was a lot of chatter on social media that Jesus was coming in 2025 during the feast of trumpets which just happened on the 23rd and 24th.  Instead of people saying, “we should be more expectant during those feast days”, they made the mistake of saying “the rapture will happen on September 23 cuz Jesus told me it would.”  Now today, the 25th, the jokes and scoffers are already coming with, “so where is this promised return?  Since the beginning folks have been saying he’s coming back and he never does!”  This is from 2 Peter where he talks about increased scoffing as the actual event nears.

And then read about the daytime talk show comedian, Sherri Shepherd, mentions the rapture and why she didn’t pay attention to the hype this time.

Sherri Shepherd didn't believe that the Rapture was coming on Tuesday — because she'd already fallen for a previous Rapture prophecy that didn't come true.

The comedian discussed her past religious misunderstanding leading to serious consequences during Wednesday's episode of her talk show Sherri.

"I have been through this before. I used to be in a religion that told me that the rapture was coming," Shepherd recalled. "They told us to get our house in order. And I said, 'Why? I'm not going to need a house where I am going. I don't need those worldly possessions.'"

Shepherd's disregard for earthly matters extended to a few punishable offenses. "I didn't pay my bills. I didn't pay my taxes. I did not pay my traffic tickets because why would I pay anything when the world's about to end?" she asked. "My registration had been expired for two years. I had seriously $10,000 worth of unpaid moving violations."

The Less Than Perfect star didn't even appear in court when she received traffic infractions. "Why would I show up to court when the world is about to end and I'm about to get taken up to heaven?" she asked. "Jesus don't care about no parking tickets!"

Shepherd's Rapture-induced procrastination didn't work out. "The world never ended. I went to jail," she said. "And you can tell I was not expecting to go to jail 'cause when the police pulled me over, I was wearing this."

 The show then cut to a photo of Shepherd wearing a psychedelic multicolored shirt and massive high heels that matched. "I was on my way to perform at the Comedy Store in Hollywood and I didn't know, so they picked me up," she said. "I went to jail for eight days and because I fell for the Rapture, I became a hardened criminal." 

Shepherd's comments came following Joshua Mhlakela's viral claim that Jesus told him in a dream that the Rapture would occur on Tuesday, Sept. 23. 

"Everybody on TikTok started spreading the word that the rapture was coming yesterday," Shepherd explained. "I believe in the rapture. I believe it was coming. But this one, I didn't fall for the okeydoke. Because I have been through this before."

Rapture Burnout? Don't be Discouraged

 For the past few months, Social media was filled with folks telling of dreams and visions of Jesus telling them, "I'm coming in the rapture on September 23."  One video I saw last week had a dude selling his car and saying, "I won't be needing this after September 23."

Of course I have no idea if that was a set up, but I am quite certain I saw many videos of many sincere people who truly believed what they were saying.  

Our understanding is that Rosh Hashana, the Feast of Trumpets, is celebrated over a 2 day period and since it's still the 24th of September we can still HOPE that the trumpet announcing the rapture will happen today.

We've already said it in previous blogs but since Jesus fulfilled the 4 spring feasts to the letter it would be logical to assume that he is going to fulfill the 3 fall feasts at his 2nd coming.

So already we see this article from Prophecy News Watch talking about rapture burnout and not to be discouraged.

Over the past several weeks, thousands of Christians scrolled through YouTube and Facebook feeds only to be inundated with one video after another proclaiming that the Feast of Trumpets on September 23 would bring the long-awaited Rapture of the Church. Once you clicked on one, the algorithms pushed dozens more. Some of the videos carefully and biblically examined the timing of the feasts, the prophetic patterns, and the connection to Christ's return. Others were less cautious--proclaiming with bold certainty: "This is it. Get ready. Jesus is coming this week."

The excitement was contagious. Many in our community felt that surge of expectation, watching the skies and wondering if this might truly be the moment we had all longed for. After all, the Feast of Trumpets has long been seen as the most likely candidate for the fulfillment of Paul's words in 1 Thessalonians 4, when the trumpet of God sounds and the dead in Christ rise first.

But here we are. The Feast has come and gone, and the Church still walks this earth. For some, the disappointment is palpable. Hopes soared only to be dashed once again. And for others, a deeper weariness sets in--what we might call "rapture burnout."

This is where we need to tread carefully but truthfully. There is nothing wrong with hoping, watching, or even speculating about prophetic events. Jesus Himself commanded us to "watch." Prophecy is not a dusty corner of Scripture--it is central to our faith, pointing us to the blessed hope of Christ's return. But there is a world of difference between speculation and proclamation, between saying "this could be" and declaring "thus saith the Lord."

When someone claims to speak for God, attaching His authority to their words, they step onto sacred ground. And when the event does not come to pass, it is not just disappointment that follows--it is deception, confusion, and damage to the witness of the Church. Jeremiah warned the prophets of his own day who told the king what he wanted to hear instead of what the Lord had truly spoken. The Lord's warning was severe: do not claim "thus saith the Lord" when the Lord has not spoken.

Those who spoke with bold certainty that the Rapture would occur this week must reckon with this. It is not enough to quietly move on, as though nothing happened. Accountability is required. Repentance is required. Because if we do not humbly acknowledge when we were wrong, the cycle will simply repeat itself--just as it did when 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988 was followed, predictably, by 89 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1989.

We also need to address another layer of this discussion--dreams and visions. Can the Lord speak through them? Absolutely. Scripture testifies that in the last days, old men will dream dreams and young men will see visions. But when God speaks, His word is clear and true. Think of Daniel--when he interpreted dreams, there was no guesswork, no hedging of bets. The meaning was given directly by God, and it was beyond dispute.

What often happens today, however, is that Christians have a dream, and instead of seeking the Lord for its true meaning, they declare their own interpretation as final. Or they take Scripture out of its rightful context to support a conclusion that "feels right." This is a dangerous shortcut. If the interpretation proves false, then humility and repentance must follow. Otherwise, pride keeps us from correction, and deception deepens.

But let us be clear--this does not mean we stop watching. Far from it. Our calling as believers, and especially as students of prophecy, is to be like the watchman on the wall described in Ezekiel 33. If he sees danger coming and does not warn, he is held accountable. That is why Prophecy News Watch exists--to watch, to warn, and to encourage the Body of Christ as the Day approaches.

So no, we do not give up watching just because one Feast of Trumpets passed without the Rapture. We do not stop studying the signs of the times, examining Scripture, or weighing the prophetic patterns. The return of Christ is not a side issue of our faith--it is at the very heart of our hope. Paul called it the "blessed hope." Jesus promised it again and again. The book of Revelation climaxes with His return. Without it, the story is incomplete.

We agree!  It's not wrong to keep watching and hoping that THIS Feast of Trumpets, with Israel being 77 years old, will be the season when Jesus comes for us!  But for those folks who boldly said, "September 23 is what Jesus told me!", now that September 23 has come and gone, they need to apologize and repent and admit that they didn't actually hear from Jesus.

The return of Jesus is imminent.  That hasn't changed.  Our yearning for His return has not changed.  So maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe next month?  All the signs of the tribulation are there and Jesus promised that those who are watching will NOT be surprised like the rest of the world.

America is Reaching a Boiling Point

 The top headline on Google right now is that an ICE building in Dallas has come under sniper fire.  People are getting so angry in America that they are shooting people they disagree with.  And when the Left keeps calling Trump “Hitler” and all of the voters who voted for him “Nazis”, how can it not be a good thing to shoot all the Nazis dead?

The Left is delusional and sadly it’s because they have rejected Jesus, the creator of the universe.  We can continue to pray for our family and friends who have been sucked into this delusion, but we will never be able to convince them to change their worldview…only the Holy Spirit can do that. We keep praying and scattering seeds and don’t back down on speaking the truth.  Men can’t have babies or produce milk from their breasts.  Women have XX chromosomes with a birth canal and a uterus.  The reason pregnant women are given baby showers is because they are pregnant with a human baby.  Have you ever been invited to a fetus shower?  If a 50 year old man says he’s actually a 12 yr old girl, do we let him hang out with 12 yr old girls?  Keep asking the questions but expect the hatred to ramp up because when the Left runs out of logical arguments they quickly turn to foul language and slurs, and then violence.

All over social media, there are people that are talking about a violent uprising.

That should chill you to the core.

In response, the Trump administration plans to crack down on left-wing organizations.

In fact, President Trump just announced that Antifa will be officially designated as a terrorist organization…President Trump announced Wednesday that he will designate antifa as a terrorist organization, and is recommending investigations into people who allegedly fund it.

It’s unclear when the designation will take place, or what legal implications it will have. Antifa — short for anti-fascist — is a loose affiliation of mostly left-leaning activists, and generally is not considered to be a highly organized group.

I don’t think that people understand what this means.

During previous administrations, terrorists have been shipped off to Guantanamo Bay to be tortured and hunted down by predator drones.

In his post announcing this change on Truth Social, President Trump explained that Antifa will now be deemed to be “A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”…

Of course Antifa does not hand out membership cards.

So how will it be determined whether leftist protesters are part of Antifa or not?

There are so many unanswered questions.

But what we do know is that the temperature is rising in this country, and it got even hotter when Jimmy Kimmel was suddenly pulled off the air…

After ABC’s suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” over the comedian’s comments on Charlie Kirk, reactions have been swift, and many question remain.

The Walt Disney-owned network confirmed on Wednesday, Sept. 17, that it has indefinitely pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show following comments he made on a Sept. 15 episode regarding the fatal shooting of the conservative commentator.

I don’t understand why he was still on the air.

He was supposed to be a comedian, but he simply was not funny.

Maybe that is why so few people were still watching him.

ABC decided to make this move because Kimmel suggested that Charlie Kirk’s shooter was part of “the MAGA gang”…

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” he said.

Jimmy Kimmel should have known better than to say something like that, because everyone knows that it isn’t true.

So his employer held him accountable.

But all over BlueSky, liberals are freaking out as if some major turning point in our history has just happened.  Here is one example…

First, Stephen Colbert. Now Jimmy Kimmel. Is it sinking in now? Do you all get it now? We now live in an authoritarian dictatorship. The United States of America as we know it is OVER for everyone.

There are a lot of things that are going on in this country that are worth getting tremendously upset about.

The cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel is not one of them.

But Rosie O’Donnell believes that this nation “is no more” now that Jimmy Kimmel is off the air…

O’Donnell lamented on Instagram: “this is unacceptable – f— this fascist administration and corrupt corporate executives – bowing to the orange monster – america is no more .”

She is not rational.

Unfortunately, we have reached a point where vast segments of the U.S. population are not rational.

And when people are not thinking rationally, violence can erupt.

When asked about what just happened to Jimmy Kimmel, actor Jason Bateman had some very ominous things to say…

‘Well, it’s troubling to say the least,’ the A-list star said. ‘And we all have to really take a moment and figure how we feel about this type of thing.

‘Especially, people doing what you do.

‘I’m sure there’s going to be some sort of collective move to respond to this, but I’m not smart enough or powerful enough to be the one to do it but I imagine there’s plenty of conversations going on to do something, because you just can’t stand by and let stuff like that go on.’

Exactly what did he mean when he said that “you just can’t stand by and let stuff like that go on”?

Is he suggesting what it sounds like he is suggesting?

Everyone needs to take a step back and cool down for a while.

But of course that isn’t going to happen, is it?

2025 is the moment when our national boiling point is being reached, and things are only going to get crazier from here.

Iran and Russia to Work on Nuclear Stuff Together

 The pieces of Ezekiel 38 continue to come forth on the headlines.  

Russia and Iran will this week sign agreements on the construction of new nuclear power units in Iran, Russian state news agency RIA quoted Iran's nuclear chief as saying.

Mohammad Eslami, who is also Iran's vice president, was speaking during a visit to Moscow.

Western governments accuse Tehran of failing to abide by a 2015 deal with world powers that aimed to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon. Iran denies having any such intention and Russia says it supports Tehran's right to peaceful nuclear energy.

The Nations That Recognize a Palestinian State

Some major English speaking traditional allies have joined the sea of nations to recognize a Palestinian state.  Remember what God has said about the nations that would divide His land?  It won’t go well for them.  UK is already overrun by Muslims as is Australia.  Canada has turned into a liberal bunch of numbskulls.  And go ahead and Google what percentage of any of those nations remember the sabbath and to keep it holy.  It’s a tiny amount.  They have become godless and devoid of any fear of the Lord.  So they have come to the place of delusion where they think the Muslims deserve another nation in the Middle East and that the tiny nation of Israel is really the problem as to why all these Muslims can’t live in peace.🙄

The United Kingdom, Canada and Australia on Sunday announced the recognition of the Palestinian state, in the hope that a two-state solution will bring peace with Israeldespite protests from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the move is intended "to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis." 

"We recognized the state of Israel more than 75 years ago as a homeland for the Jewish people," Starmer said in a video message posted on X. "Today we join over 150 countries who recognize a Palestinian state also. A pledge to the Palestinian and Israeli people that there can be a better future."

He insisted that the recognition of statehood was not a reward for Hamas, the terror group that carried out the deadly Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel that led to some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, being killed and the abduction of another 251. Hamas is the current Palestinian governing body in the Gaza Strip.

"Hamas is a brutal terror organization," Starmer said, adding that Hamas will have "no future, no role in government, no role in security," in a Palestinian state.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also recognized a Palestinian state, posting on X that Canada offers its "partnership in building the promise of a peaceful future for both the State of Palestine and the State of Israel."

Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong, minister for Foreign Affairs and leader of the government in the Senate, said in a joint statement announcing its recognition of Palestinian statehood that Hamas "must have no role in Palestine."

The Feast of Trumpets Starts Today

Here is another great article that does well to explain the 7 Jewish Feasts that God ordained for Israel and how Jesus fulfilled the 4 Spring Feasts to the day and to the letter.  So are we ready for him to return and fulfill the 3 Fall Feasts starting with the rapture during the Feast of Trumpets?

God told Moses to tell Israel to celebrate seven “Feasts of the Lord” (see Lev. chapter 23 and Deut. chapter 16).

God called the seven feasts “holy convocations” (holy gatherings; gatherings that were set apart for a special purpose) and “My feasts” (Lev. 23:2).

The seven Feasts are: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Weeks (the Greeks called this one Pentecost), Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles (Lev. 23).

The special purpose was to remember past events that are a shadow (or a picture) of things to come (see Heb. 10:1).

The Lord’s Supper is an example.

• Paul said, “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till he come” (I Cor. 11:26).
• The Lord’s Supper is a holy convocation that looks back on the first coming of Jesus (His death) and looks forward to His return (His Second Coming when He will eat bread and drink with us; Matt. 26:27-29).

God told the male Jews to appear before the Lord three times a year to celebrate the Feasts in their seasons and to give offerings to God (Lev. 23:4; Deut. 16:16).

This required the male Jews to go on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem three times a year (to the Temple in the spring season, summer season, and fall season).

The Spring Pilgrimage (Spring Season)

The First Feast Day

• Passover past event: The Jews sacrificed a lamb without blemish, sprinkled its blood on the lintels and door posts of their home, the death angel passed over their house, their first born was spared, but the first born of those that weren’t under the blood died, and Pharaoh let God’s people go (Ex. 12).
• Passover future event: Jesus was the Lamb of God (Jn. 1:29, 36). He was crucified on Passover (the day that the death angel passed over Egypt (Ex. 12:6: Lev. 23:5; Matt. 26:2). The Apostle Paul said, Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us (I Cor. 5:7).

The Second Feast Day

• Unleavened bread past event: The Jews left Egypt eating unleavened bread (bread with no leaven; bread that had not risen), and Pharaoh started chasing them.
• Unleavened Bread future event: Jesus was born in Bethlehem (the house of bread) He was the unleavened (sinless) Bread of Life (Jn. 6:35; 47-51; 53-58), a lamb without blemish (I Pet. 1:15), He knew no sin (II Cor. 5:21), Pilate could find no fault in Him (Jn. 19:4). His unleavened (sinless), unrisen body was in the grave on the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

The Third Feast Day

• First Fruits past event: The Jews left Egypt on Passover Day. They wandered in the wilderness for 40 years and ate Manna (Josh. 5:6-12). They entered the Promised Land exactly 40 years later on Passover Day. On their first two days in the Promised Land (Nisan 14-15) the Jews ate manna, old corn and unleavened bread. On their third day in the Promised Land (Nisan 16) the manna stopped falling and the Jews ate food that was grown in the Promised Land for the first time. The Feast of First Fruits remembers the first day the Jews ate food that was grown in the Promised Land.
• First Fruits future events: Paul said, “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s (the Church) at his coming (I Cor. 15:20-23).
• Final comments about the Spring Feasts: Jesus was crucified on Passover (Nisan 14). Jesus’ body was in the grave on Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15). Jesus was raised from the dead on First Fruits (Nisan 16). The first three Feast Days prophesy the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is the Gospel (I Cor. 15:1-4). Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). The first three feast days were a shadow of things to come.

The Summer Pilgrimage (Summer Season)

The Fourth Feast Day

• Weeks (also called Pentecost) past events: God told the Jews to celebrate the feast of Pentecost seven weeks plus one day (50 days) after the Feast of First Fruits. Greeks called it the Feast of Pentecost because the word “Pentekoste” means fiftieth day. The fiftieth day after the Feast of First Fruits on the Jewish calendar is Sivan 6. Many Jews believe God gave the Ten Commandments to Israel orally (later on stone tablets that were broken and then a second set of stone tablets) in the wilderness on Sivan 6 (Ex. 19:18; 20:1-17). They believe that was the beginning of Judaism and the Mosaic Law.
• Weeks (also called Pentecost) future events: Before His ascension into heaven, Jesus told His disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they received power from on high. 50 days after the Feast of First Fruits, 120 Jewish followers of Jesus were gathered in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost (Sivan 6); the Holy Spirit fell, and the Church began (Acts 2:1-4). So, Judaism was born, and the Jews came under the Law on Sivan 6, and the Church was born and came under grace on Sivan 6. We have the same birthday.

The Fall Pilgrimage (Fall Season)

The Fifth Feast Day

• Trumpets past events: While the Jews were in the wilderness, God told Moses to make two trumpets of silver to blow on to signal the Jews to assemble at the tabernacle, march, go to war, and celebrate the feast days (Num. 10:1-10). The Jews heard the voice of the trumpet when God came down to give them the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai (Ex. 19:16). “And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice” (Ex. 19:18-19). The last blast of the trumpet was the longest, and it got louder and louder. Jews call that last, very loud blast of the trumpet the “last trump” or the “great blast.”
• Trumpets future events: The trump of God will sound at the Rapture (I Thess. 4:16-17), Jesus will come down out of heaven, and the church will assemble in the air. Several scriptures associate a heavenly voice with a trumpet (Rev. 1:10; 4:1). Paul said, “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (I Cor. 15:51-52). Some Christians (not all) believe the Rapture will occur at the last trump or Great Blast of the trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets (blast #100).

A lot more could be said about these first five feast days, and there are two more (Atonement and Tabernacles) – whole books have been written on them – but I need to move on to current events.

Just know that Jesus was crucified on Passover, the body of Jesus was in the grave on Unleavened Bread, Jesus was raised on First Fruits, Jesus started the Church on Pentecost, and many believe the Church will be Raptured on the Feast of Trumpets.

(FYI: Readers have sent me two reports that say the Israeli government will livestream rabbis blowing the trumpets at the Temple Mount on YouTube this year, and the last blast – the last trump – will be at 6:38 pm Jerusalem time: 11:38 am EST on Sept. 24 in the U.S., 10:38 am CST; 9:38 am MST, and 8:38 am PST. I do not know how to tell readers how to access it. Another reader has sent me a report that says the government has nothing to do with the blowing of trumpets on the Feast of Trumpets. Some synagogues choose to blow them, and some don’t. Some that choose to blow them livestream their services. Readers may be able to go online and find a synagogue that does it.)

(Update: On Sept. 16, 2025, it was reported that the PA has complained about Jewish groups efforts to blow the shofar on the Temple Mount. I don’t know whether the trumps will be blown on the Temple Mount or not, but I find it interesting that history has reached this point.)

Here are some current events that seem to indicate that the end of the age is near:

One, concerning wars and rumors of wars and the Israel-Hamas war: on Sept. 11, it was reported that Israel is using leaflets, recorded messages, and phone calls to warn the Palestinians to leave Gaza City.

Israel’s military Chief of Staff said, “We are going to bring down this regime, and nothing will stop us from accomplishing this mission.”

(More: On Sept. 18, 2025, it was reported that about 400,000 residents have left Gaza City in the last few weeks. Hamas is losing their human shield, and Israel believes this is increasing the pressure on Hamas.)

(Update: Israel’s invasion of Gaza City started late in the night on Sept. 15, 2025. Tanks are now moving into the heart of the city, and the fighting is intense. Israeli residents living close to the border with Gaza can hear loud explosions in Gaza City, the ground is shaking their houses, and some of their windows have cracked. Even though this is going on, Israel said 2-3,000 Hamas terrorists are holed up in Gaza City and Israel will need 2-3 months to root them out and completely take over the city.)

Two, concerning wars and rumors of wars and Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar, on Sept. 11, 2025: it was reported that several Arab nations are furious, Pres. Trump told Netanyahu not to strike Qatar again, and Prime Min. Netanyahu demanded that Doha expel Hamas officials or bring them to justice, and he warned that if they don’t, “Israel will.”

On Sept. 12, 2025, William Koenig wrote:

• Qatar’s duplicity is well-documented. They fund the Muslim Brotherhood, bankroll Al Jazeera—a media arm that consistently amplifies radical Islamic narratives—and pour billions into Islamist networks around the globe.
• Over the past month, new revelations have underscored just how deep their reach extends into American universities, think tanks, and political circles, spreading radical Islamic teaching under the guise of education and diplomacy.

(More: On Sept. 9, 2012, US Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) sent a letter to the Dept. of Education that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a nonprofit advocacy group long accused of having ties to terrorist organizations including Hamas, is seeking to infiltrate the city of Philadelphia’s public education system.)

(My opinion: The Trump administration needs to face the fact that Qatar and other Muslim nations are trying to establish a global Islamic caliphate and religion. Cotton believes CAIR is trying to poison the minds of U.S. children. In my opinion, it could be time to forbid our colleges, universities, professors, etc. from taking money from foreign nations. This seems harsh, but it may already be too late for the UK, France, and others to save their nations.)

(Update: On Sept. 13, 2025, U.S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio said, Pres. Trump was not happy with Israel’s attack on Qatar, but it will not change America’s relationship with Israel.)

(Update: On Sept. 15, 2025, U.S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio was in Jerusalem where he said, “Hamas needs to cease to exist as an armed element that can threaten the peace and security – peace and safety – and of the region. Rubio will go to Qatar next to discuss this.)

Three, concerning U.S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio’s trip to Jerusalem and who Jerusalem belongs to: while there on Sept. 15, 2025,

• Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reopened the Pilgrimage Road in Jerusalem, an ancient stone road about 2,000 feet long that connected Jerusalem to the Temple Mount.
• It passed the Pool of Siloam where pilgrims purified themselves in ritual baths on their way to the Temple Mount.
• Jesus anointed the eyes of the blind man near the Pool of Siloam and told him to wash in the pool, and he would be healed (John chapter 9).
• In the presence of Rubio, Netanyahu said, Jerusalem is forever our city, it will never be divided again, and there will be no Palestinian state.
• Concerning the threat of some nations (UK, France, Canada, Australia, and many more) to recognize a Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem later this month: Netanyahu said any unilateral action can be met with unilateral action. (He is threatening to respond by declaring Israeli sovereignty over part of Judea and Samaria.)

(My opinion: People can easily see how current events tie in with Bible prophecy, if they want to.)

Four, concerning the Days of Noah, violence, lawlessness, and the persecution of Christians at the end of the age: on Sept. 12, 2025, William Koenig wrote,

• The assassination of Charlie Kirk is not an isolated act of madness—it is part of a growing climate of hatred toward those who dare speak truth publicly. Christians who boldly stand for biblical truth will increasingly come under threat, whether through censorship, intimidation, or outright violence.
• The chilling reality is this: we are only at the beginning.
• As biblical truth continues to be equated with hate speech, more Christians will be targeted, both culturally and physically.
• Jesus Himself warned us that this would be the case: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18).
• It is a spiritual battle.
• The Bible tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12).
• What we are seeing in the streets of America, on our campuses, and in the rhetoric of the radical left is demonic reactionary warfare—a visceral opposition to the principles of God, family, order, and truth.

(My comment: I wish William Koenig was wrong, but I don’t think he is. The Apostle Paul wrote about the man of lawlessness, and he said the mystery of lawlessness is already at work (2 Thess. 2:3, 7).

Five, concerning the ashes of a red heifer: on Sept. 12, 2025, Monte Judah said a credible source has told him that the red heifer that was sacrificed in July was a qualified red heifer, it was sacrificed by a qualified priest, they have the ashes, and the ashes have been divided up and are being kept at several different locations.

Judah added that he has been trying to verify this but hasn’t yet been able to.

(My comment: I have heard this before. And also, that unless some disagreements are worked out, the ashes cannot be used. Time will tell.)

Six, concerning the dividing of Israel and Jerusalem at the end of the age: on Sept. 12, 2025, the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly endorsed a French and Saudi-led declaration (called the New York Declaration) urging Palestinian statehood and advancing the two-state solution.

They want to replace the terrorist group Hamas with another terrorist group called the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Mahmoud Abbas (head of the PA) is very old and would probably be replaced by a terrorist leader who is just as bad as those who lead Hamas.

Sponsors of the New York Declaration are calling it a step toward peace, but it appears to be a major step toward the Tribulation Period.

Seven, concerning the controversy over Jerusalem at the end of the age with possible implications for the Battle of Gog of Magog: on Sept. 17, 2025, Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan said, “We, as Muslims, will not take a single step back from our rights over East Jerusalem.”

(My opinion: The effort to divide Jerusalem, make it the capital of a Palestinian state, and give the Temple Mount to the Palestinians under the guise of establishing peace and safety is a slap in God’s face, and He has warned the nations that He will not accept it. Jesus’ name is on Jerusalem. God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and His reputation are at stake over this issue.)

Eight, concerning wars and rumors of wars and Iran: on Sept. 15, 2025, Israel’s Defense Min. said there will be more rounds of war with Iran.

Prophecy teachers know it is not over because the Battle of Gog and Magog hasn’t happened yet.

Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars and hatred for Israel: on Sept. 15, 2025, there was an Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, Qatar.

All the Psa. 83 nations and all the Gog and Magog nations were there.

They discussed forming a NATO-like army to attack Israel if Israel attacks just one of them.

Ten, concerning Israel becoming a great army at the end of the age: on Sept. 18, 2025, it was reported that Israel has become the first nation on earth to develop and deploy a high-power laser system to shoot down missiles, drones, rockets, mortars, and planes at a minimal cost.

Israel’s Defense Min. called it a game-changer.

Eleven, concerning wars and rumors of wars with implications for a possible Psa. 83 war: on Sept. 16, 2025, Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi ignored Israel’s peace treaty with Israel, and he referred to Israel as an enemy for the first time since he took office.

Twelve, concerning signs in the sun at the end of the age: on Sept. 16, 2025, according to research by two NASA scientists:

• The sun has become more and more active over the last 16 years.
• An uptick in solar activity could influence space weather, potentially leading to more solar storms, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections.

Thirteen, concerning Islam and wickedness: on Sept. 17, 2025, one of the Hamas officials that Israel targeted (but failed to get) in Qatar appeared in public and said:

• We are not afraid of Trump’s threats to unleash hell upon us.
• We do not take orders from him on how to treat enemy prisoners.
• We treat them according to our own methods and according to our religion.

Hamas raped, beat, starved, tortured, and killed some of the hostages, and that was “according to our religion.”

Fourteen, concerning the decline of America at the end of the age: on Sept. 17, 2025, it was reported that the mayor of Dearborn, Michigan, is a Muslim, and the county has erected signs there that honor an Islamic terrorist sympathizer.

A longtime Christian resident of Dearborn attended the city council meeting last week to object to the signs.

The angry mayor told the Christian man, “Although you live here, you are not welcome here.”

The idea that Islam is a religion of peace is greatly misunderstood.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
