Massive Anti Obama Rally

Reportedly, a massive rally is planned for Sunday against President Obama over his administration's apparent turn against Israel.

Thousands of Americans are preparing to protest in New York this Sunday against the Obama administration's increasing hostility towards Israel. The event is scheduled to take place outside the Israel Consulate on Sunday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. A partial list of organizations who endorsed the demonstration is below.

Beth Gilinsky, head of the Jewish Action Alliance that is sponsoring the event, said, "We are outraged that President [Barack] Obama is scapegoating Israel and wants to expel Jews from their homes in Jerusalem. President Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton show more anger about a Jewish family building a home in Jerusalem than Iran building a nuclear bomb," she added.

“Vast segments of the Jewish community will not tolerate the president's continuing attacks on Israel. Grassroots Jewry will not be silent,” Gilinsky vowed. A long list of Jewish organizations as well as a number of Christian and other non-Jewish groups have signed on to the event as well.

The demonstration will also feature a taped statement by former New York City mayor Ed Koch, a strong supporter of Obama's presidential campaign. Koch recently expressed his shock and disappointment with the increasing anti-Israel views expressed by the president and the increasing hostility of his administration towards the Jewish State.

A while back we made a posting about former New York Mayor Ed Koch. As we can see above, he was a strong supporter of Obama who has now turned against him....with "shock and disappointment" about Obama's turn against Israel.

Financial Crisis and Porn

The SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) is in charge of overseeing the stock exchanges and also for investigating illegal Ponzi schemes like Bernie Madoff.

In the report that came out today we find out that while the country was heading into financial collapse in 2008....a boat load of SEC employees were spending their days cruising porn sites at work.

As the country was sinking into its worst financial crisis in more than 70 years, Security and Exchange Commission employees and contractors cruised porn sites and viewed sexually explicit pictures using government computers, according to an agency report obtained by CNN.

"It is nothing short of disturbing that high-ranking officials within the SEC were spending more time looking at pornography than taking action to help stave off the events that brought our nation's economy to the brink of collapse," said Rep. Darrell Issa. The Republican is the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The fact that porn is available 24-7 to every person with a computer in this perverse age in which we live is like throwing gasoline on a fire.

The question I ask of so many is this.....in the coming years, do you think this porn problem is going to get better or worse?

The only logical answer is.....it can only get worse as technology and access increases.

Persecution for Telling Truth

Franklin Graham has been dis invited from speaking at a Pentagon prayer service.

Why?

Because he told the truth about Islam.

The U.S. Army on Thursday withdrew an invitation to a Christian evangelist to speak at a Pentagon prayer service next month following an outcry over his references to Islam as a violent religion.

In an interview last year with CNN, Graham said "true Islam" was too violent to be practiced in the United States.

"You can't beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they've committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in these other countries," he said.
"I don't agree with the teachings of Islam and I find it to be a very violent religion."

The Army said it did not invite Graham to the May 6 event organized through the Pentagon Chaplain's office. The invitation was instead extended by the private, Colorado-based National Day of Prayer Task Force.

"Once the Army leadership became aware that Reverand Graham was speaking at this event, we immediately recognized it as problematic," said Colonel Tom Collins, an Army spokesman.

"The bottom line here is that his presence would be inappropriate. His past statements are not consistent with the multi-faith emphasis and inclusiveness of this event."

Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day (insert smirk here), we have an article in the Wall Street Journal that with the title: ENVIRONMENTALISM AS RELIGION

As you read the article you will pick up some prophetic points.

Many observers have made the point that environmentalism is eerily close to a religious belief system, since it includes creation stories and ideas of original sin. But there is another sense in which environmentalism is becoming more and more like a religion: It provides its adherents with an identity.

But scientists, particularly evolutionary psychologists, have identified another function of religion in addition to its function of explaining the world. Religion often supplements or replaces the tribalism that is an innate part of our evolved nature.

It is this identity-creating function that environmentalism provides. As the world becomes less religious, people can define themselves as being Green rather than being Christian or Jewish.

The Bible tells us that man was created to worship. God tells us clearly to worship Him and Him alone. But Satan has been confusing us since creation and has most inhabitants of earth convinced that they should worship something else...be it themselves, the moon, sun, stars...or earth.

These are all false religions because their adherents worship the CREATED instead of the CREATOR.

Weakness Will Cause War

One of the tragic faults of liberals is that they believe that being nice to everyone will automatically mean that everyone will be nice to you. It goes back to that time honored saying..."Do unto others what you would have them do unto you."

The only problem is that this rule doesn't work on the Satanically controlled planet earth on which we find ourselves. The main rule on this planet seems to be, "Destroy anyone who is weak so we can take all their stuff and make them our slaves." (sounds like a Satanic rule, right?)

When Obama took office he was going to turn over a new leaf with Iran. He was going to extend an open hand while they unclenched their fist.

It appears that this policy has resulted in Iran keeping it's fist shut while holding up their middle finder towards our new Commander in Chief.

The American-led "engagement” policies towards Iran is going to result in the very war it wants to prevent, according to an Iranian CIA spy. He says the only way to prevent a possible nuclear war with Iran is to attack the country now.

He reasoned that the West is "dragging out” its attempts to place harsher sanctions on Iran and “is not dealing with it the way they should. One thing they could do very simply is cut off shipping lines—all airspace and shipping lines closed to everything coming into Iran and going out of Iran,” which is an act of war.

“Let it be an act of war.” he said. “You've got two choices: Either take out the [Revolutionary] Guard right now, or wait until they have a bomb. It's a matter of who takes the more serious step. Let it be an act of war and let's see what Iran does. Give them a deadline. No one has taken a serious stand to see if they will back down, and unless you do, they're going to become a nuclear-armed state.

It's kind of ironic that Obama was elected by the "no more war!" crowd and he promised to get us out of all conflicts. Today we are even deeper in Afghanistan and there are more wars brewing...and the world is a much more dangerous place.

Liberals need to understand that when America is extremely strong and unafraid to use its power....the world is actually a safer place.

It is only when whackos like North Korea's leader and religious despots like Iran's leader, believe that America is weak and has no stomach for bloodshed....that they become emboldened to issue dangerous threats. Who dares to stand up to them?

When Jesus Christ finally comes after The Tribulation to sit on the throne of David, we are told he will rule with an iron rod. When the humans on earth sin...they will be discovered immediately and dealt with by Christ ushering swift and exact punishment using His iron rod. Then, for the first time, the world will witness the perfect distribution of punishment for the fulfillment of justice.

Leviticus 18:23, "Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion."

Felon accused of running animal-sex farm in Whatcom County

A Whatcom County man's friendship and aggressive support for a man convicted in the infamous Enumclaw horse-sex case led to his arrest this week for allegedly operating a bestiality farm just south of the Canadian border, federal prosecutors said Friday.

In the Enumclaw case, a 45-year-old Gig Harbor man died after having sex with a horse on Tait's rental farm. Authorities charged Tait with trespassing at a neighbor's farm on the night of the man's death. Tait's neighbors told The Seattle Times in 2005 that they didn't know that people had been sneaking into their barn to have sex with their horses.

Now ask yourselves....how many abortions can this land handle? How many gay parades? How many porn films? How many bestiality perverts?....before we are vomited out?

The clock is ticking and unless a serious dose of national repentance happens....it simply can't be long.

View From Jerusalem

Seriously...this is getting weird....ANOTHER editorial in the Wall Street Journal today about Jerusalem.

Imagine that you're an Israeli perusing the past week's headlines. Senior U.S. military officials have told Congress that Iran may be a year away from producing a bomb's worth of fissile material. Efforts to sanction Iran are again bogged down at the U.N., even as the sanctions are watered down to insignificance. And senior Israeli officials now say that Syria has supplied Hezbollah with Scud-D missiles that can hit every city in Israel with a one-ton warhead to an accuracy of 50 meters.

Oh, and now the Obama Administration seems increasingly of the view that Israel is the primary cause of instability in the Middle East. In a press conference last week, President Obama said the U.S. had a "vital national security interest" in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, on the theory that "when conflict breaks out . . . that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure."

For all the current talk about Israel costing America lives and treasure, the striking fact is that the U.S. has never had to go to war to defend the Jewish state.

The Obama Administration seems not to grasp this point, which is why these are anxious days for Israel and its American friends.

I know I keep quoting it, but need to do it again...Zechariah 12:3, "I (God) will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."

So let's think about this....President Obama is the leader of this nation and is trying to move Jerusalem to make peace with it's enemies and carve up it's land.

The Mary Muslim Connection

One of the things we watch for is the movement towards a one world religion. This religion will probably center around everyone joining hands to worship some, "Ancient power of the universe." That way the pagans, witches, Mormons, Catholics, Muslims, and earth worshipers could all join hands and get behind the Antichrist....because he will be able to show counterfeit miracles, signs, wonders and even be able to call down fire from heaven.

That will be a tough act to refute...for the people on earth who witness it. (Thank you Jesus for the rapture of the church BEFORE this happens!)

We now see some evidence of Catholics joining hands with Muslims...and their point of unity is none other than the Virgin Mary. Both may one day agree to worship her together. Also, I will remind you that there is a strong movement in the Catholic church to make Mary on an equal level with Jesus Christ....calling her a "co-redemptress"...meaning that either Jesus or Mary can grant salvation.

Wow!....how anti-christ can you get to come up with that one?

Lebanese Christians (Catholics?) and Muslims are celebrating today, 25 March, the Feast of the Annunciation, an official national holiday sanctioned by the Government of Lebanon. All public buildings, schools, banks and university are closed. The government has also encouraged private businesses to do the same.

Former Polish President Lech Walesa, who has a deep devotion to Mary, was to be in Lebanon for the holiday.

Dar-al-Fatwa Secretary General Sheikh Mohammed Nokkari, one of the main promoters of the joint festivity, said he hopes that such a holiday would spread to other parts of the world, adding that it was fitting that it should begin in Lebanon, which the late Pope John Paul II had described as "a message of pluralism for the East and the West."

For the Muslim clergyman, Mary is “the best woman ever, here (on earth) and in eternity” for “she's above all women”, a symbol of unity between the two faiths.

The Council of Maronite Bishops praised the government's decision, saying it "helps in bringing hearts together”.

NO MAN comes to the father but through the Son."....we will all be persecuted if we take a stand for Christ and refuse to be part of this unholy, "unity".

Plotting Next Mideast War

The rumors of war continue to build in the Middle East.

Today in the Wall Street Journal we have a Bret Stephens column talking about Syria transferring huge Scud missiles into the hands of Hezbollah...which operates in southern Lebanon.

One of the more easily imaginable consequences is that a war in Lebanon could very quickly involve Syrian and Iranian participation. So the next question is: How might that play out?

Here Israel could conceivably reap certain advantages, which in turn calls into question whether Israel might not want a wider war over Lebanon after all. Today, Jerusalem's two supreme strategic objectives—preventing Tehran's nuclear bids from reaching fruition while also preventing any further deterioration in the relationship with Washington—are very far from being in synch. But in a scenario in which Israeli cities are hit by Hezbollah's Scuds, Israel would have ample justification and cover to strike back at the ultimate source of those missiles—not just Damascus, but Tehran. As Rahm Emanuel likes to say, a crisis can be a terrible thing to waste.

And that raises a final question: What does the Obama administration do? So far, it hasn't helped matters by giving the impression of a clear wedge between Israel and the U.S. Nor has the administration's assiduous courtship of Damascus done anything other than embolden Mr. Assad's taste for adventure. Is the president capable of learning from his Mideast failures so far? That one's worth $64,000.

In 1967, a series of seemingly minor events, tactical misjudgments, and particularly an Arab perception that the West would not honor its international commitments or come to Israel's defense triggered a war the consequences of which have defined the Middle East ever since. We are adrift in those same waters today.

As you can see in this article...anytime you have "Damascus", "Israel", "Jerusalem", "Iran", and "war", all in the same article...you HAVE to sit up and watch.

I wonder how many consecutive days that there has been an article concerning Israel or Jews, in the Wall Street Journal? There certainly is no LOGICAL reason for this attention....so it HAS to be supernatural.

Fannie Amnesia

As we posted yesterday....80% of U.S. citizens don't trust the Federal Government to solve problems.

As coincidence would have it, today we have an article in the Wall Street Journal that talks about the huge financial failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac....both of which are Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE) and are going to cost taxpayers at least $400 billion.

The story is all too familiar. Politicians in positions of authority today had an opportunity to prevent this fiasco but did nothing. Now—in the name of the taxpayers—they want more power, but they have never been called to account for their earlier failings.

Why was there no action in the full Senate? As most Americans know today, it takes 60 votes to cut off debate in the Senate, and the Republicans had only 55. To close debate and proceed to the enactment of the committee-passed bill, the Republicans needed five Democrats to vote with them. But in a 45 member Democratic caucus that included Barack Obama and the current Senate Banking Chairman Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.), these votes could not be found.

Recently, President Obama has taken to accusing others of representing "special interests." In an April radio address he stated that his financial regulatory proposals were struggling in the Senate because "the financial industry and its powerful lobby have opposed modest safeguards against the kinds of reckless risks and bad practices that led to this very crisis."

He should know. As a senator, he was the third largest recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, behind only Sens. Chris Dodd and John Kerry.

With hypocrisy like this at the top, is it any wonder that nearly 80% of Americans, according to new Pew polling, don't trust the federal government or its ability to solve the country's problems?

As Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motors famously said; "It is well enough that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for it they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

Pregnant 10 Year Old

In just one other "sign of the times"....we have a pregnant 10 yr old in Mexico.

Of course incest and sexual abuse of children is nothing new....let's remember that early in the Bible, Lot's daughters both got him drunk and both had sex with him and were impregnated...so those boys (Moab and Ammon) would have had some real confusion when the discussion came up of explaining who grandpa is.

It turns out the stepfather is under arrest for this pregnant little girl.

State Attorney General Francisco Alor Quezada said he did not know whether officials had told the girl she had the option of pursuing an abortion, and he did not know how far the girl was into her pregnancy when her mother reported the assault to authorities last month.

Now....here is the dilemma....she is 17 week pregnant which is beyond the legal limit for killing the baby living in her stomach.

But she is 10 years old and was raped by her stepfather....so should this poor little girl be put through the trauma of childbirth?

I can tell you one thing....stories like these make me look forward to the day when the Righteous King will be sitting on the throne of David making these decisions.

Global Cooling

Here are some facts regarding the volcano in Iceland;

The volcano causing all the trouble is under the Ejfjallajokull glacier, Iceland 's fifth largest glacier. It has erupted five times since Iceland was settled in the ninth century.

Europe's problems could just be at the beginning stage. Scientists say history has proved that when the Ejfjallajokull volcano erupts, the nearby volcano Katla normally follows. When Katla last blew, in the nineteenth century, it remained active for twelve months.

Iceland's volcanoes are ranked as some of the most deadly in the world. Because they sit on a spreading fault that is over a hot spot, they tend to be very explosive in nature, producing large amounts of toxic gas.

Laki is a legendary Icelandic volcano, which had a huge eruption in 1783. The volcano caused nationwide damage when it spectacularly exploded, killing more than 50 percent of the livestock population in Iceland at the time due to the clouds of poisonous fluorine and sulfur dioxide. The resulting famine killed 25 percent of the population.

The after-effects were felt all over the world. Many died from gas poisoning in the British Isles seven hundred miles to the south.

Clouds of aerosols built up, causing a cooling effect on the whole northern hemisphere and killing more than eight thousand people in Britain in the following winter. In North America, the winter of 1784 was the longest and one of the coldest on record. Laki even had a negative impact on food production. After the eruption, crop yields fell in western Europe and famine spread. Some historians even linked the eruption to the French Revolution.

Excuse me....Mr. Al Gore....does the world have any plans to warm the world in the event this volcano keeps erupting?? Should we turn on all the coal plants and all start driving SUV's again??

Is there no end to the arrogance of what man believes he can control?? I guess not.

Today the Associated Press had this as a headline;
Poll: 4 out of 5 Americans don't trust Washington

WASHINGTON — America's "Great Compromiser" Henry Clay called government "the great trust," but most Americans today have little faith in Washington's ability to deal with the nation's problems.

Public confidence in government is at one of the lowest points in a half century, according to a survey from the Pew Research Center. Nearly 8 in 10 Americans say they don't trust the federal government and have little faith it can solve America's ills, the survey found.

The findings illustrate the ominous situation President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party face as they struggle to maintain their comfortable congressional majorities in this fall's elections. Midterm prospects are typically tough for the party in power. Add a toxic environment like this and lots of incumbent Democrats could be out of work.

What does it tell us if 80% are starting to lose faith?

What kind of message does this send to investors around the world upon which we are now reliant?

Psalm 83 on Horizon?

We have blogged and spoken about Psalm 83 for the past few years....so most readers should be somewhat clued in on this prophecy. For those who aren't, the nutshell summary is that Israel will someday take out ALL it's surrounding neighbors on their current border using it's own army.

Once Israel does this, it will further set up the situation for Ezekiel 38-39 to be fulfilled. But take note....Psalm 83 will be fought by the Israeli army whereas Ezekiel 38-39 will be fought by God....just as he used to fight for Israel in days of old.

Many major prophecy sites have been watching/posting on Psalm 83, and this article came out yesterday.

However, matters have deteriorated (between Israel and it's neighbors) and are quite different today. A brief review of Mideast events occurring since the Israel – Hamas war suggests the Fertile Crescent is presently a ticking end time’s bomb set to explode. In addition to the war pacts described above, here are a few more troublesome interim occurrences:
1. Israelis are being fitted for gas masks.
2. Israelis are preparing for a multi-front chemical war with Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, and Hamas.
3. Israel is constructing new and renovating thousands of old bomb shelters.
4. Israel is threatening a pre-emptive strike against Iran’s nuclear sites.
5. Iran could have a nuclear bomb within eighteen months.
6. Syria is now thought to have the most powerful scud missiles in the world.
7. Syria has reportedly shipped scud missiles to Hezbollah.
8. Syria has threatened to attack major Israeli cities in the event of war.
9. Hezbollah has declared that it can wipe out one-half of Israel’s army.
10. Hezbollah has been training for hand to hand combat inside Israeli cities.
11. Hezbollah and Syria reportedly have chemical weapons.
12. Hezbollah has stockpiled over 50,000 rockets.
13. Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are within rocket reach of Israel’s enemies.
14. Hamas reportedly has rockets that can reach Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona.
