North Korea and Iran Working on Nuclear Missile

This sounds like it could be a Jay Leno joke;  "What's worse the Iran working on a nuclear missile?....  North Korea and Iran working jointly on a nuclear missile."  (thunderous laughter)

We already know that North Korea has detonated a few nuclear weapons and we already know that Iran recently tested long range missiles with a range of over 1200 miles.  So what would be needed for these two regimes to hold the entire world hostage??...  North Korea screwing a warhead on Iran's long range missiles.

According to a study by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), North Korea's weapons programmes are now benefiting from technology from Iran.

Pyongyang also possesses technology that would enable Iran's uranium enrichment programme to increase its output. However concrete evidence that North Korea has supplied the Iranians with its superior equipment has not been uncovered by IISS.

The disclosure marks a disturbing escalation in the race for nuclear weapons technology by the two states which are seen to present the biggest threat to global security.

How much longer will Israel stand by while these mad regimes cook up ways to destroy them?  How much longer will America stand by and pretend that we can stop Iran and North Korea by sanctions?

Answer:  America will stand by until it's simply too late.  We are bankrupt and quite frankly just sick of war so will continue to look the other way...but I have a feeling that Israel is not going to sit by much longer.  Don't let it take you by surprise if you soon wake up to headlines that Israel made a major military move while we slept.

The Bones Are Gone

German news is reporting that the bones of Hitler's accomplice, Rudolph Hess, have been exhumed, cremated and the ashes scattered at sea. 

Yesterday morning, the bones of Rudolf Hess, Adolf Hitler's deputy, were exhumed from his grave in southern Germany. The bones were then cremated and scattered at sea, cemetery administrator Andreas Fabel told the Associated Press. This comes in response to the use of Hess' grave as a pilgrimage site for neo-Nazis.

Rudolf Hess was once third in command of the Nazi regime, behind Hermann Goring and Hitler himself. A close confidant of Hitler's starting in the 1920's, Hess transcribed and edited a large portion of Hitler's dictation for Mein Kampf. In 1941, Hess flew alone and landed with a parachute in Scotland, allegedly to discuss peace terms in an unauthorized mission that Hitler denounced. Instead, he was imprisoned by the British for the rest of the war. He was later tried at the Nuremberg war crimes trials, where he was convicted of crimes against peace, though cleared of war crimes and crimes against humanity. He was sentenced to life in prison at Spandau prison in Berlin. From 1966 onwards he was the only prisoner at the jail and in 1987, at age 93, he killed himself.

I thought this last sentence of the article was interesting;

“The grave is now empty,” Fabel told the AP. “The bones are gone.”

Thank you Jesus Christ that you rose from the dead, your bones are NOT in the grave and the grave is empty.  You conquered death, you are VERY MUCH ALIVE and someday soon we will see you as you truly are.

As for Jew-killer, Rudolph Hess, his bones are dust, scattered at sea and after 50 years in jail...he killed himself.

I wonder what side of the eternal abyss Mr. Hess is on??

California Justice System Collapsing

As budget problems continue to plague California, we now read that San Francisco has shut down it's courts.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Superior Court announced Monday that it's laying off more than 40 percent of its staff and shuttering 25 courtrooms because of budget cuts.

Presiding Judge Katherine Feinstein said the actions were necessary to close a $13.75 million budget deficit caused by state budget cuts. She said the cuts mean it will take many more hours to pay a traffic ticket in person, up to 18 months to finalize a divorce and five years for a lawsuit to go to trial.

"The civil justice system in San Francisco is collapsing," Feinstein said.

"The future is very, very bleak for our courts," Feinstein said at a Monday press conference. Feinstein said criminal cases would remain largely unaffected because of constitutional guarantees of speedy trials. Every other type of court, though, is facing significant cutbacks.

Of course this news comes on top of the earlier news that California is going to be releasing 40% of it's felons from prison because they don't have the money to incarcerate them any more.  Also my long time readers will know that we believe the events happening in  California to be a foreshadowing of what is coming for the rest of us.

As I reflected on justice collapsing in California and the law being paralyzed there, I couldn't help but think about the words of the prophet Habakkuk:
 ² How long, LORD, must I call for help,
but you do not listen?
Or cry out to you, “Violence!”
but you do not save?
³ Why do you make me look at injustice?
Why do you tolerate wrongdoing?
Destruction and violence are before me;
there is strife, and conflict abounds. ⁴ Therefore the law is paralyzed,
and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous,
so that justice is perverted.

Seems about right....violence is all around us, the law is paralyzed and justice is perverted.  How long O Lord must we see all these things?

Iran Invades Iraq

We will have to see if the mainstream media have ANYTHING to say about the fact that Iranian forces have attacked and taken over military bases within Iraqi territory.

NICOSIA — Iran has reported its first offensive in Iraq in more than 20 years.

The mullah regime in Teheran said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has entered the Kurdistan region of Iraq and captured several bases. IRGC said the bases were under the control of the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PEJAK), said to have been waging an insurgency war in northwestern Iran.

"Three bases in Iraqi territory were providing assistance to the terrorists," Col. Delavar Ranjbarzadeh, an IRGC commander, said.

The Kurdish rebel movement has confirmed the IRGC offensive but said at least five Iranian soldiers were killed. PEJAK as well as Kurdish Regional Government officials said Iranian forces have reached 10 kilometers into Iraq.

A group of Omaha pastors has issued a proclamation that states homosexuality is not a sin.

More than 100 ordained Christian ministers have signed the proclamation, including leaders from Lutheran, Episcopalian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist, and Presbyterian churches.

I will say it again....the homosexual agenda is coming for us like a flood.  Something about gays, lesbians, bi-sexual and transgender is literally in the headline news every single day.

And of course it used to be that Christians were supposed to be God's workers on earth who stood up and opposed immorality.  But sadly most have done EXACTLY what Christ warned us not to do....we have become conformed to the patterns of this earth.  We have become more concerned with being accepted by the people of earth than we are interested in standing for The Truth.

And how sad that these pastors are trumpeting these false teachings to their sheep.  And of course the sheep are so clueless themselves about what the Word of God actually says that they simply fall in line behind the false shepherd.

What a tragedy.  Mainline churches have gone from preaching the repentance that WE ALL desperately need to teaching tolerance of anything.  By saying they were "born that way"....they can use that argument to ultimately delude most people on planet earth to do anything their lustful minds can conjure up...and then claim they were simply born with that desire, so it must be OK.

Those of us who are authentic followers of Christ truly have our work cut out for us in these last days. 

But when Christians take a stand to support traditional biblical teaching on the issue, the Family First executive director laments that they are often perceived as "bigots" or "homophobes." He suggests, however, that the loving response to those trapped in homosexuality teaches that the lifestyle is indeed sinful, but that freedom can be found through Christ.

"It's going to be more difficult, the more these…activists [gain] inroads into our culture and the more common it becomes," Bydalek warns. "So we have a very difficult task ahead of us as those who stand for truth."

Lot's of Folks Looking For a Savior

We have written about the 12th Imam, also referred to as the Mahdi.  Many Shiite Muslims believe he will return at the end of days to usher in Islamic rule all over the world....furthermore, many Muslims believe he is VERY close to returning.

Recently they celebrated his birthday.

In the Islamic faith, the Mahdi is the ultimate savior of mankind. His appearance will usher in an era of Islamic justice and bring about the conversion of the heathen amidst flame and fire. The Mahdi will establish Islam as the global religion and will reign for seven years before bringing about the end of the world.

The beliefs of Sunni and Shiite Muslims differ on the identity of the Mahdi. Sunnis either believe that he is yet to be born, or that he was born recently and has yet to emerge. Shiites hold that the Mahdi is Muhammad ibn Hasan, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad born in AD 869 and the 12th and final Shiite Imam. Shiites believe the 12th Imam was hidden away by Allah at a young age and will someday appear at the Kaaba in Mecca – with (a Muslim version of) Jesus Christ - to bring justice and peace by establishing a pure form of Islam throughout the world.
Whatever global justice the leaders of Islam think the 12th Imam will usher in when he arrives with the Muslim version of Jesus, we know that it promises to look bloody for Jews, Christians, and anybody else not willing to bow down in submission to Allah.

Did you catch that the Mahdi is supposed to rule for 7 years before the world to an end?  Interesting that 7 years is the length of time the Bible tells us the Antichrist will be on earth before Jesus comes and puts an end to this age.

Renounce Your Faith Or Die

The Bible tells us that many will perish during The Tribulation when they fail to join the one-world system and religion.  So as this day approaches we should expect to see more people being persecuted and even dying simply for the fact that they believe in Jesus Christ and his work on the cross.

Here is one case that certainly appears to be a textbook example;

Iran's Supreme Court says an evangelical pastor charged with apostasy can be executed if he does not recant his faith, according to a copy of the verdict obtained by a religious rights activist group

Christian Solidarity World says Iranian-born Yousef Nadarkhani, who was arrested in 2009 and given the death sentence late last year, could have his sentence suspended on the grounds that he renounce his faith.

Those who know him say he is not likely to do that, for if he were disposed to giving it up, he would have done it long ago.

Now notice who it is that some Iranian Christians want to come and help them:

“The U.S., which is fighting for freedom, has to take care of this situation. This is the 21st century. We are not a military group. We want to worship God, according to the Gospel, and being persecuted is not acceptable.”

So many of the folks in America and around the world believe that America is the big gorilla on the planet and that we need to be apologized for....but can you even imagine the evil that will break out when America isn't around to stand up for human rights?

Revelation 6:9-11

Biggest Dead Zone EVER!

Most of you may not realize it, but where the Mississippi flows into the Gulf of Mexico, the stank water that the Mississippi has become...creates a dead zone that extends far out into the Gulf...meaning that nothing can live in that water. 

ScienceDaily (July 18, 2011) — Researchers from Texas A&M University have returned from a trip to examine the scope and size of this year's "dead zone" in the Gulf of Mexico and have measured it currently to be about 3,300 square miles, or roughly the size of Delaware and Rhode Island combined, but some researchers anticipate it becoming much larger.

DiMarco says the size of the dead zone off coastal Louisiana has been routinely monitored for about 25 years. Previous research has also shown that nitrogen levels in the Gulf related to human activities have tripled over the past 50 years. During the past five years, the dead zone has averaged about 5,800 square miles and has been predicted to exceed 9,400 square miles this year, which would make it one of the largest ever recorded, according to the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium.

Of course the Mississippi is at record flood levels so is flowing more water into the Gulf than EVER before...so for that reason alone the dead zone should be bigger....but was interested in the headline for it's "EVER" purposes.

Does U.S. Default Spell Disaster?

President Obama is using the word "Armageddon" in describing what will happen if Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling.  Other Senators say he is wrong, that the catastrophe is that the USA keeps spending money that they don't have and pretending they can continue this pattern.

Arguments that a failure to raise the debt limit will raise interest rates, slow U.S. economic growth, increase inflation and ultimately cost the United States its AAA credit rating are all true, but they don't add up to an ultimate end-of-the-world battle. The inability to deal with something as relatively simple as raising the debt ceiling is a symptom of fiscal dysfunction in Washington that will push the U.S. further down the road to economic stagnation. But the image that comes to my mind is that of a frog cooking to death in a pot of water that heats up so slowly the frog never jumps out, rather than fire blasting from heaven to devour Gog and Magog.

What???  Can it be possible that the financial writer for msn.com jut referenced Ezekiel 38...Gog and Magog??  Yep...he did!  And then we have this paragraph:

My big worry is that the current slow erosion of faith in U.S. Treasurys will turn into a cascade of unanticipated consequences if the debt ceiling isn't raised. Treasurys play a unique role in the global financial markets. They aren't important only because they're jammed into so many global portfolios, including the portfolios of so many of the world's countries. They're also important because they serve as collateral on a huge percentage of the complex deals that use derivatives to shift risk around the globe.

What??  Did he just say that eroding faith in U.S. Treasurys could make a big mess??  So financial Armageddon IS a possibility?

It's that role that makes me think Armageddon is a possibility. It's a remote possibility, I think. But given the very limited information about these markets and the balance sheets of the players, I can't say with any degree of certainty how small the possibility might be.

One must admit that this article is pretty interesting in that a major financial writer (Jubak) who writes for a major media outlet is publicly claiming that he can't rule out the possibility of cascading events leading to financial Armageddon.....he hopes it's a remote possibility....but he admits he can't say that with any certainty.

The smart men seem to be confounded....the intelligent men seem to be frustrated.  The Bible said that's how it would be in the Last Days.

Immanency

The doctrine of immanency says that Jesus Christ could come at any second.  There is NOTHING that has to happen for the trumpet to start blowing this very second and Christ swoops in and snatches his church from this fallen, Satanic planet....in the twinkling of an eye.

That's the doctrine that I believe makes the most scriptural sense.

Think about it for a second....let's say someone says that the rapture won't happen until after Antichrist is sitting in 3rd Temple declaring himself to be God.

This would throw imminence right out the door...because now instead of being ready to meet Jesus in the air as the church should ALWAYS be....the church begins to watch for the Antichrist, watch for the 3rd Temple to be built, and then watches for the Antichrist to go into the Temple and be broadcast on Fox News all over the world.....ONLY THEN WOULD THEY LOOK FOR CHRIST TO SAVE THEM!!

Another passage that makes the most sense to me is II Thessalonians 2:7;  "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way."

So what holds evil at bay in the Age of Grace in which we find ourselves?  The Holy Spirit that indwells in us...and which is the "he" in the above passage.  And how is this "he" taken out of the way?  By the rapture of the church.

If the Antichrist WON'T be revealed until after the rapture...then of course we can't be watching for the Antichrist to be revealed signing a peace agreement with Israel...which ushers in the last 7 years on earth before Christ's return.

So do I believe that we will be so fortunate to jump right from the lap of luxury in America into the arms of Jesus Christ in the clouds?  No, I believe we could see hard times.  We may see the collapse of America, we may see Psalm 83, we may see the U.S. government making it illegal to read certain passages from the Bible.

But none of this stuff HAS to happen for Jesus to return.  He could return later this afternoon....at an hour that most people don't expect Him.  So encourage each other with these words....because whenever He comes....we all know that we are in the season of His return...and we all hope it is sooner than it is later.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

National Disgrace

Many Americans are starting to get the uneasy feeling that America is in decline.  This certainly isn't a new feeling because anyone alive in the late 1970's remember feeling like we were getting our butts kicked by Japan on every level, we had a crappy military that couldn't rescue a few hostages from Iran and if you wanted a mortgage you would have signed up for about 20% interest.

Today the feelings may be about the same as we are facing a government shutdown, a potential loss of credit rating, massive debts that most are starting to realize will NEVER be paid off, an education system that is producing kids who can't read or write, college graduates with $100,000 of student loans and no chance of getting a good job, and President who seems to have a goal of getting the rest of the world to like us.

With that as a backdrop, you really MUST watch this YouTube video from an Atlanta TV station which has uncovered a story claiming that American taxpayers are paying $millions to restore Muslim Mosques in Egypt.

Let's remember that in the latest Zogby International poll, only 5% of Egyptians have positive feelings for President Obama....which would be the worst popularity ratings of any U.S. President by Egyptians.  And this is after he gave a speech a few years ago to a cheering crowd in Cairo.

The fact is we are borrowing money from China to restore Mosques in Egypt in hopes that the Egyptians will like us and quit supporting terrorists who want to destroy us. (The Muslim Brotherhood)

In reality, the Arab mind believes these actions are signs of weakness and further embolden them to take our money and laugh at the stupid Americans.

The sad thing is that they are right...we are stupid Americans.

As our moral compass continues to collapse, we will continue taking actions and making decisions that further solidify our destruction...and just like Rome....we will ultimately collapse from within rather than from outside invaders.
