Human Remains That Are 230,000 Years Old?

In my previous post we discussed that the Bible dates the creation of Adam to about 6000 years ago.  Today this article was front and center on Google News claiming they have human remains that date to 230,000 years ago.  They both can’t be true.  Of course this is not a salvation issue but ultimately Bible readers will need to wrestle with what, how and when humans were created. Many, many people have lost their faith over secular attacks on Genesis.

 The remains – known as Omo I – were found in Ethiopia in the late 1960s, and scientists have been attempting to date them precisely ever since, by using the chemical fingerprints of volcanic ash layers found above and below the sediments in which the fossils were found.

An international team of scientists, led by the University of Cambridge, has reassessed the age of the Omo I remains – and Homo sapiens as a species. Earlier attempts to date the fossils suggested they were less than 200,000 years old, but the new research shows they must be older than a colossal volcanic eruption that took place 230,000 years ago. The results are reported in the journal Nature.

Abraham Was Alive During Same Time as Noah and Shem?

 If you take a calculator with you while reading Genesis you will discover some amazing things. Of course not all Bible scholars agree.  Some of them will point out that in Hebrew thought some generations may be skipped. For instance Jesus is called the Son of David and yet 1000 years separate them.  I have pondered this question for years and maybe some of you have too.  When you add up the years found in Genesis you will conclude that Adam was created by God about 6000 years ago.  You will also discover that Abraham was 58 years old when Noah died and Shem outlived Abraham!  So the Father of the Jews, Abraham, could have studied under two men who witnessed the Flood and also had clear memories of Nephilim and a world without rain!  And Noah’s dad was alive when Adam was!  When you ponder this and realize that human history is only thousands of years old, the HIS-STORY of mankind is very brief.  Now check out this article from a Jewish source and the book of Jasher.  Tell me what you think or if you have any evidence that the “begats”in Genesis 5 and Genesis 11 are not complete in their recording of years and fathers fathering sons.  Also please note that Abraham would have been born 1948 years after creation of Adam.  Do you think it’s a coincidence that modern-day nation of Israel was born in the year 1948?  Just more things that make you say, Hmmmmm.....?

Europe at Greatest Risk of War in 30 Years

Wars and rumors of war.  Russia is demanding that Ukraine NEVER be allowed to join NATO.  Their troops are massed on the border and Poland is warning that the situation looks bleak.

Europe is nearer war than it has been in 30 years, Poland's foreign minister warned during the third round of diplomacy this week aimed at defusing tensions over Russia's demand that Ukraine never be allowed to join NATO.

Addressing envoys from the 57 members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Zbigniew Rau did not name Russia, but listed a string of conflicts in which Moscow's involvement has been alleged.

"It seems that the risk of war in the OSCE area is now greater than ever before in the last 30 years," Rau said in a speech outlining his country's priorities as it holds the OSCE's rotating chairmanship this year.

Russia has deployed more than 100,000 troops near its borders with Ukraine, which is already battling Moscow-backed separatists in its east. Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimea region in 2014.

The Kremlin on Thursday gave a bleak assessment of Russia's security talks with the United States and NATO this week, describing them as "unsuccessful" and saying there was disagreement on fundamental issues.

No Vaccine? No Weed and Liquor!!

 If you want to get the dudes playing Gameboy in their mom's basement to come out of the dark and get vaccinated, just threaten to lock them out of beer and pot stores.  It works!!

Government officials in Quebec, Canada, have found a sure-fire way to motivate people to get the COVID-19 vaccine, limit their access to alcohol and weed.

The Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé announced that effective next week, Jan. 18, proof of vaccination would be required to enter the state-run liquor stores and cannabis dispensaries, and lo and behold, appointments for vaccinations quadrupled.

“I’m just saying that if you don’t want to get vaccinated, stay home,” Dubé said last week, according to the Montreal Gazette.

He took to Twitter on Friday, after announcing the move to boast that appointments for first shots of the vaccines quadrupled from 1,500 per day to 6,000 per day “in just a few days.”

“Thank you to everyone who decided to get vaccinated. It is not too late to receive your 1st dose. Protect yourself,” the health minister added.

While some may want to make light of limiting access to alcohol and marijuana, Dubé made it a point to stress that they are just getting started.

“It’s only a start, the only reason we applied this one only is because that’s the one we control — those are two societies that we control,” he said last week. “We’re sending a clear message, this will not be the last two.”

He went on to say that the government would be in communication with “all non-essential services and shopping malls, name it,” saying that once they have had time to put the proper measures in place restrictive measures would be announced.

Mystic Rabbi Says Their Messiah is Coming Next Year

 The Jews haven't accepted Christ as Messiah.  So they are not looking for the return of Jesus Christ, BUT they are preparing for the first appearance of THEIR Messiah.  Can you see how the tables are being set for the Jews to accept Antichrist as "the man with the plan"?

Rabbi Yekutiel Fish, a prominent mystic from Jerusalem, gave a lesson last week in which he proved through a precise mathematical equation that next year will be the final Jubilee before the arrival of the Messiah. 

“We are now in the month of Shevat on the eve of the Messiah,” Rabbi Fish said at the beginning of his lesson. “If you happen to hear a shofar, don’t be alarmed or confused,” the rabbi joked. “It is only the arrival of the Messiah.”

Rabbi Fish attributed the teaching to Rabbi Oren Evron, a prominent mystic-numerologist.

“Rabbi Evron told me the following message in the most simple manner possible, like an innocent child and not like a Torah authority,” Rabbi Fish said. “But after he told me, I realized that what we have here is an atomic bomb. You have not set up an effective system for reporting side effects from the vaccines and reports on side effects have even been deleted from your Facebook page. Doctors avoid linking side effects to the vaccine, lest you persecute them as you did to some of their colleagues. You have ignored many reports of changes in menstrual intensity and menstrual cycle times. You hid data that allows for objective and proper research (for example, you removed the data on passengers at Ben Gurion Airport). Instead, you chose to publish non-objective articles together with senior Pfizer executives on the effectiveness and safety of vaccines.

Irreversible damage to trust

However, from the heights of your hubris, you have also ignored the fact that in the end the truth will be revealed. And it begins to be revealed. The truth is that you have brought the public’s trust in you to an unprecedented low, and you have eroded your status as a source of authority. The truth is that you have burned hundreds of billions of shekels to no avail – for publishing intimidation, for ineffective tests, for destructive lockdowns and for disrupting the routine of life in the last two years.

You have destroyed the education of our children and their future. You made children feel guilty, scared, smoke, drink, get addicted, drop out, and quarrel, as school principals around the country attest. You have harmed livelihoods, the economy, human rights, mental health and physical health.

You slandered colleagues who did not surrender to you, you turned the people against each other, divided society and polarized the discourse. You branded, without any scientific basis, people who chose not to get vaccinated as enemies of the public and as spreaders of disease. You promote, in an unprecedented way, a draconian policy of discrimination, denial of rights and selection of people, including children, for their medical choice. A selection that lacks any epidemiological justification.

When you compare the destructive policies you are pursuing with the sane policies of some other countries — you can clearly see that the destruction you have caused has only added victims beyond the vulnerable to the virus. The economy you ruined, the unemployed you caused, and the children whose education you destroyed — they are the surplus victims as a result of your own actions only.

There is currently no medical emergency, but you have been cultivating such a condition for two years now because of lust for power, budgets and control. The only emergency now is that you still set policies and hold huge budgets for propaganda and psychological engineering instead of directing them to strengthen the health care system.

This emergency must stop!

We Are In a New Civil War

 We have wondered many times on this blog how close we might be to a Civil War here in America.  Those on the Right, most of whom would have voted for Trump, believe that the folks on the Left are so stupid and delusional that they don't want to even share space with them.  Those on the Left, who screamed "Not my president!" during the Trump years and voted for Biden, believe that Trump voters are gun-toting white nationalists who are getting ready to mount another "insurrection" because the last one on January 6 wasn't successful.

So how long can we really co-exist?  How long will the Right obey leadership from the Left? 

Here is another article that showed up today with the words CIVIL WAR in the headline.  For that reason, it's blog-worthy.

For most of my reporting career, to refer to some dispute or another — over a judicial nomination, perhaps, or an uproar over a proposed shopping mall near a battlefield — as “a new Civil War” was to reach for a metaphor.

On the anniversary of the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol, we mark the evolution of journalistic cliche: Serious people now invoke “Civil War” not as metaphor but as literal precedent.

The Trump years, which it is now evident did not end with his presidency, have awakened a conflict so profound that, as in the 1860s, democracy, constitutional order and union itself are in peril.

A big deal, indeed. But also a puzzle: If this is a 21st century version of 19th century disunion, shouldn’t it be more obvious what the war, at bottom, is all about?

The Jan. 6 anniversary is a reminder that the chaos of the Trump years in one important respect — and perhaps only in one — is a historical anomaly. The country many times over has witnessed dissent and disruption far more violent than anything seen in recent years. But earlier episodes featured profound ideological and moral questions — easily visible to the naked eye, in the present and to historians afterward — that lay at the heart of the matter.

The real Civil War was about slavery — at the start, to restrict its territorial expansion, by war’s end to eliminate it entirely. Capitalists opposed to the New Deal knew why they loathed FDR — he was fundamentally shifting the balance of power between public and private sectors — and FDR knew, too: “They are unanimous in their hate for me, and I welcome their hatred.” The unrest of the 1960s was about ending segregation and stopping the Vietnam War.

Only in recent years have we seen foundation-shaking political conflict — both sides believing the other would turn the United States into something unrecognizable — with no obvious and easily summarized root cause. What is the fundamental question that hangs in the balance between the people who hate Trump and what he stands for and the people who love Trump and hate those who hate him? This is less an ideological conflict than a psychological one.

On the surface, of course, everyone knows what the Capitol mayhem and its acrid aftermath are about. One side unreasonably believes that President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential victory was stolen, and the other side reasonably fears that former president Donald Trump’s followers are so slavishly under his spell that they are willing to hijack the legal apparatus guaranteeing free and honest elections in order to facilitate his return to power in 2024.

But the violent conflict spurred by the 2020 election flowed from years of conflict over every aspect of Trump’s rise to the presidency and his performance in it. In the nearly seven years since his presidential ambitions took flight in 2015, there has been a daily deluge of outrages and provocations, and a corresponding flood of explanations of what’s really going on here — why his partisans are so aggrieved, why they are so drawn to the most garish personality ever to occupy the presidency.

Efforts to explain Trump often rely on complex sociological or economic theories. He was a backlash to globalization and selfish elites. He exploited resentment of trade and the decline in real wages. He was the representative of people who disliked the cultural ascension of women and African-Americans and the diminution of working class white males. And so on.

All semi-plausible. All inadequate in the face of Trump’s zigs on one day and zags the next, and the obvious truth that most of his partisans are attracted to him less for any programmatic reason than for the sheer bombast of his performance — and especially that he offends his opposition.

Are you starting 2022 in an optimistic mood? You might take solace in the argument that it’s hard to have a real civil war without a real cause — a great question that will be resolved by the outcome. Trump’s moment in national life will die out because he always has lots to say but no longer has anything meaningful to say.

Or perhaps recent years have steered you toward escalating pessimism. Perhaps the squalor of modern politics flows from ancient truths of human nature. People are easily manipulated with appeals to prejudice and paranoia, never more so than when technology has led to massive growth in the industry of commercialized contempt. A country that can have a civil war with no one really knowing what the conflict is about is one in which the muscles of governance are pitifully atrophied.

How do I believe an actual Civil War could start in America?  Maybe when the Left gets power and the Right doesn't believe the election was fair and honest?  Maybe when the Left gets power and starts demanding that everyone on the Right gets jabbed 3 or 4 times with an experimental shot?  Maybe when the Left starts demanding that all people who refuse this shot be banned from all public places and restricts their ability to have a job and earn an income?  Maybe when the Left starts demanding the every person in the country go along with their insane ideas that men are actually women and men can have babies too!  When you disagree with their insanity, those in power will see if they can have you fired from your job and never attain a position of power ever again.  Maybe when the Left is in power and attempt to purge the entire US Military of anyone who voted for Trump?  Maybe when the Left is in power in major cities and allow entire city blocks to be burned to the ground because the mayors believe the people need some "room to rage against unfairness."?

When these conditions are all there it might only take a minor power outage to light the fire. 

Omicron Will Find Everybody

Yep!  We can all expect to get Covid, and 99.997% of healthy, young people will experience symptoms like the common cold, so please rush out and vaccinate every child, every teen, every pregnant young woman with this “vaccine” that has no long-term testing results. Hmmmmm...

I’m not a real smart man, and certainly could not debate Fauci or any other doctor for that matter, but something seems strange here.

CNN)As the Omicron variant spreads like wildfire across the United States, it's likely just about everybody will be exposed to the strain, but vaccinated people will still fare better, the nation's leading infectious disease expert said Tuesday.

"Omicron, with its extraordinary, unprecedented degree of efficiency of transmissibility, will ultimately find just about everybody," Dr. Anthony Fauci told J. Stephen Morrison, senior vice president of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. "Those who have been vaccinated ... and boosted would get exposed. Some, maybe a lot of them, will get infected but will very likely, with some exceptions, do reasonably well in the sense of not having hospitalization and death."

In contrast, those who are not vaccinated are "going to get the brunt of the severe aspect of this," he added.

Pentagon’s New UFO Office

We just keep moving one step closer to the governments of the world proclaiming, “Yes, there are intelligent beings who have evolved, just like we did, on other planets. They have been visiting us for some decades now.  We have been in contact with them. They are here to help us.” We are hoping that this final great deception comes AFTER the rapture.

Just before the New Year, the Pentagon established a new office that will study UFOs — or unidentified aerial phenomena, as they’re now known — and report its findings to Congress. However, the move — the most significant UFO legislation ever passed — is contentious to many in the UFO community, reports NBC News.

“This is a subject with a provable history of secrecy, and anything that lacks a new openness about the information is subject to more, possibly inappropriate control,” Ron James, a spokesperson for the Mutual UFO Network, which bills itself as “the oldest and largest UFO organization in the world” told NBC News. “We don’t see that this means new resources will be dedicated to the matter. We believe that considerable resources have always been dedicated to the matter at some level inside deep government and industry.” Ufologist Steven M. Greer told NBC News that UAP shouldn’t even be considered a national security threat worthy of special Pentagon attention.

Luis Elizondo, a former government insider who helped spark renewed interest in unidentified aerial phenomena by publicizing video from military aircraft, wrote in an op-ed in the Hill that the Pentagon’s decision to place the new UAP office inside the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security could mean“70 more years of secrecy on this topic.”

Elizondo also told the Hill that he’s “not convinced [that] burying this [issue] in the deep, dark bowels of the Pentagon under an intelligence organization is the best way to shed light on a topic that needs a whole-of-government approach.” Instead, he likens the UFO problem to climate change, about which the government has brought in and relied on outside experts.

Meanwhile, lawmakers who spearhead the legislation — like New York Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand — argue it brings new resources and legitimacy to the investigation and tracking of potential national-security threats. “Our national security efforts rely on aerial supremacy and these phenomena present a challenge to our dominance,” Gillibrand said. “The United States needs a coordinated effort to take control and understand whether these aerial phenomena belong to a foreign government or something else altogether.”

Drag Queens Come to a Lutheran Church Near You!

 The ELCA Lutherans, the denomination in which I was raised, continues it's collapsing slide into blasphemy and hopefully, soon, irrelevance.  Thankfully they are losing members so fast that even their own statisticians realize the ELCA will vanish in next few decades if "changes aren't made."

Sadly it would seem they have been caught up in the "woke" revolution and are suffering from great delusion already.  They are incapable of seeing that they are doubling down on the very issues that caused their rapid collapse in the first place.  They are now full force into apostasy.  What they think is wonderful tolerance is actually displeasing to God who would NEVER contradict His own words.  The ELCA is now filled with practicing gay and lesbian pastors.  They have a bishop who is a cross dressing man who overseas the Northwest Conference of over 200 churches.

And today we read this about drag queens in the ELCA

Pastor Aaron Musser of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Logan Square in Chicago recently dressed in full drag for the Sunday service, wearing a long white dress emblazoned with a golden cross on its chest, a long blonde wig, and full makeup in order to lead the children's message.

The pastor began the message by calling the children up to the front to sit with him and asked if they'd ever seen a drag queen before.

The kids responded in the negative.

"I have an awesome story to share with you today," Musser said. "I am also a boy most of the time when I'm here, but today, I'm a girl."

His message to the children was clearly not your typical children's Bible story, but an agenda to indoctrinate vulnerable children with his Queer Theology.

Musser's actions while shocking to some are part of a long established trend of LGBT activists that have infiltrated the church, including it's leadership.

At the forefront of this push has been the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) which has taken more steps to promote Queer & Progressive Theology than possibly any other denomination.  

In September of last year it appointed it's first openly transgender bishop, The Rev. Megan Rohrer to lead one of the church's synods, which means she will have direct leadership over 200 congregations.

With her appointment it was announced that the bishop should be addressed with the pronouns "they/their".

Rohr was the first transgender person to be ordained by the ELCA in 2006 and now makes "history", the pro-LGBT group Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries said. "We anticipate the day when all queer ministry leaders will be called to ministry settings without hindrance or barrier and will be affirmed in their God-given calls".

According to this group, there are already over 400 queer ministers in the ELCA at this point.

The ELCA is known for its strong theological shift in the last 15 years towards an "inclusive" theology, except when it comes to Israel.

Last year the Danish Bible Society, which is also run by the Evangelical Lutheran Church, came under heavy fire for the Danish "translation" of the Bible that virtually wipes out "Israel" from the New Testament.

In the Greek New Testament, the word "Israel" occurs more than 60 times. However, it is found only once in the new Danish version called Bibelen 2020. That's right, just once. And that one occurrence is a direct quote from an Old Testament verse. Otherwise, "Israel" is gone.

The reason for this, the society argues, is that Christian readers must not connect "Israel" in the New Testament with the nation of Israel today.  The ELCA has long promoted the idea of "replacement theology", also called supersessionism, which essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God's plan. Adherents of replacement theology believe the Jews are no longer God's chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel.

As I see the photos in this article and think of the woke parents sending their scared and confused kids forward into this dude's lap for "the children's sermon", I can't help but think about what Jesus said.  He told us that people who harm little kids and prevent them from coming to Him would have been better off with a millstone around their necks at the bottom of the sea so THEY COULDN'T HAVE HARMED THE KIDS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Lord please help us to stay faithful to the entire Word of God until you return for us.  I pray that WE won't fall into blasphemy and error in our churches as the world and it's ways keep coming through our doors.  Pray that WE affect them and that THEY don't infect us.

That Didn't Age Well

 Remember when we were told that we all needed to close and lock down all our businesses, schools, churches and lives in order to "flatten the curve"?  That didn't turn out well as 2 years later we are still threatened with lock downs and business closings and restrictions based on where you are in the country.

Printing Money and Cooking Massive Bubbles

 We have said numerous times that we believe the ONLY thing holding the global financial system in place is the hand of God.  At the rapture the entire charade will collapse.  We can’t say it won’t collapse before the rapture but with all the other chess pieces moved on board for the Great Tribulation, it seems likely.

Today on Rapture Ready they speak of the same topic in Nearing Midnight.  The Federal Reserve has ceased acting like a shock absorber for the financial system and started pretending it’s a motor.

There is probably no nation on earth that has a completely free economy. Although most western countries are nowhere near what it is like in China or the old Soviet Union, things have gotten pretty bad. The central banks of most western nations now assume that they have a duty to manage the general direction of the economy.

Whenever a government tries to manage markets, the typical result is a disaster. President Erdogan of Turkey has been fixated on strengthening his economy by lowering interest rates. This move has caused the national currency to rapidly decline in value.

Erdogan’s fervent belief that high-interest rates cause inflation is why he refused to abandon his crazy plan. The more the Turkish lira plunges in value, the more Erdogan screams for lower rates.

Turkey’s consumer prices have soared by the highest rate since 2002. Independent economic institutes such as the Inflation Research Group (ENAG) calculated last month’s annual inflation rate at 82.8 percent. Erdogan did cause the value of the lira to briefly soar when he announced that Turkey’s central bank would ensure the value of people’s bank accounts. It quickly dropped again when it became clear that the central bank could only accomplish this task by printing vast quantities of the lira.

After the Federal Reserve declined to guarantee its loans as it did for Bear Stearns, the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers triggered a cascade of other firms to become insolvent. From Lehman Brothers on, no other large financial firm was allowed to go into bankruptcy. Even banks that were in good shape would be given huge amounts of money.

The Federal Reserve has rapidly gone from helping the financial system when it gets into trouble to managing the markets from almost a day-to-day basis. If the stock market goes down 500 points, alarm bells sound at the Fed, and the Plunge Protection Team starts buying S&P futures. Another way that the Fed regulated stock price is by giving money to member banks that pass it on to Hedge funds that buy up stocks.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reading up on the source of government taxes. From listening to various experts on the financial system, I’ve learned why the stock market and real estate are so important to the government.

In the early days of American history, the federal government’s income was raised primarily from taxes it placed on imported goods. It wasn’t until World War I that people started paying income tax. As time passed, more and more people were paying fewer taxes. About half the people in America don’t pay any federal taxes.

The government gets a huge amount of its income from the sale of homes and stock. During the Financial crisis of 2007–2008, the IRS lost 35% of its tax receipts from the decline in home prices. The only direction that equity prices are allowed to move is in the up direction.

All this pump by the Fed has created a massive stock bubble on Wall Street. Apple Inc. just became the first company to have a $3 trillion stock price. Five years ago, Apple was only worth $500 billion. A six-fold return for a company this massive in size should not be possible, but now on Wall Street, any valuation gain can happen. Tesla’s 23-fold rise makes Apple look like a “dead money” stock.

If it wasn’t for the COVID-19 stimulus spending, Washington could have had a huge surplus. That’s not how federal money spending works. Give any government $200 billion, and it will spend $350 billion. If Elon Musk cashed in his $340 billion in stock and had to write a $100 billion check to the IRS, we would soon be another $1 trillion deeper in debt.

The greatest danger is that soon few people will be writing checks to the IRS from their capital gain sales. Vast numbers of people have stock on margin that is at levels worse than the 1929 crash. Millions of employees are rich, on paper, because they were issued options as payment. Many people who own real estate borrow against the equity value of one home and buy another one.

The global financial system has survived so many crises in the past 14 years, I can only conclude that the hand of God is holding things together. Terry and I talk about this situation many times, and we can only presume that this monetary madness has a connection to the rapture.
