Putin Threatens Nuclear War if West Sends Troops to Fight Russia

 Here is probably another good reason why the Doomsday Clock gets pushed forward a few seconds.  Putin is not the kind of guy who is going to withdraw from Ukraine and take all his tanks and soldiers and go home and say, "sorry world!  We bit off more than we could chew!  We surrender our ambitions and so sorry for all the headaches we caused everybody...especially for the billions and billions of dollars spent and all the lives lost.  Again, SOOO sorry!"

"Everything that they are coming up with now, with which they threaten the entire world – all this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons, and therefore the destruction of civilization – don’t they understand this, or what?" Putin said.

On the battlefield, the Ukrainians have continued their retreat amid defeat in several villages and towns outside of Avdiivka. As we previously analyzed, it seems the more that evidence of Russia's 'winning' the war becomes obvious, the more desperate the actions and rhetoric out of NATO officials becomes.

Putin acknowledged that the Russian military is "confidently advancing in a number of operational areas and liberating more and more territories" and currently "firmly holds the initiative" in Ukraine.

He also warned over Sweden's recent approved accession into NATO, saying Russia is building up extra forces along its Western border to "neutralize the threats" of ongoing NATO expansion.

"The West has provoked conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East, and other regions around the world while consistently propagating falsehoods. Now they have the audacity to say that Russia harbours intentions of attacking Europe. Can you believe it? We all know that their claims are utterly baseless," Putin said. 

Putin suggested that years of Western aggression and foreign meddling and disastrous interventions have only served to unite "numerous" countries and a "multi-ethnic people:

Why Are Billionaires Building Bunkers?

That is a great question!  Do these ultra-rich folks know something the rest of the world doesn’t?  Do they have fortune tellers who are summoning evil forces in the heavenly realms to tell them to “prepare for chaos the likes of which the world has never seen”?  Of course Bible readers don’t need fortune tellers or shamans because we can read and believe the Living Word of God.  We know that the world can’t continue on its current trajectory too much longer.  We also know that Jesus is going to come for his Bride because there is no wrath due her.  Jesus took the wrath of God on our behalf!  That’s the Gospel message!

But after we are gone and the restraining force of the Holy Spirit is removed, the wrath of God will be unleashed on earth.  It will ultimately get so bad that if Jesus didn’t return to earth to put an end to the chaos, “no flesh would survive”.  When Jesus returns as judge the rich people will beg the mountains (or their bunkers)to fall on them to protect them from the wrath of the Lamb.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, plan to build a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter on their Hawaii ranch with its own energy and food supplies, according to a Wired investigation published earlier this month.

The plan is that the shelter’s door will be made of metal and filled in with concrete—common in bunkers and bomb shelters, the news outlet reported in its extensive article citing planning documents and interviews.

So why is Zuckerberg going to such effort?

Does he know something that the rest of us do not?

Yes, it is true that Zuckerberg has always been more than a little bit eccentric.

But many other ultra-wealthy individuals are also preparing for doom.  In fact, Sam Altman and Peter Thiel both seem to be extremely alarmed about the times that are approaching… 

To keep himself safe, Altman keeps a stash of the usual Doomsday prepper fare including antibiotics and water as well as some more unusual goods. He told the founders of the startup Shypmate, per the New Yorker: “I try not to think about it too much. But I have guns, gold, potassium iodide, antibiotics, batteries, water, gas masks from the Israeli Defence Force, and a big patch of land in Big Sur I can fly to.”

He also said he and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel have an “arrangement” to flee to one of Thiel’s luxury properties in New Zealand in the event the End of the World comes about.

Why would Sam Altman need guns and gas masks?

And why would he need potassium iodide?

Exactly what does he expect to happen?

Other billionaires are going to even greater extremes.

Al Corbi, the founder and president of Strategically Armored & Fortified Environments, says that he is currently working on an “island fortress” for one client that will have a very deep moat around it filled with highly flammable liquid…

Corbi — who worked on the palatial 27-floor, $4.8 billion Mumbai residence of business mogul Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries — reveals to THR that his most spectacular project, due to be completed in 2025, is an island fortress created on a 200-acre property in the U.S., with cutting-edge tactical systems.

“The shelter can withstand a blast one mile from ground zero,” says Corbi. “But that was almost incidental. The client [a business mogul] was saying, ‘I want to make sure that no one can get to my family,’ so we wound up literally building a 30-foot-deep lake [around the compound] skimmed with a lighter-than-water flammable liquid that can transform into a ring of fire. The only access to the island is a swing bridge.”

I have to admit, that sounds pretty cool.

I just hope that they have figured out how to keep the fire from escaping the moat.

The property will also have “water cannons that can take down parachuters”…

Prepare to take risks as your conscience demands, but don’t hurry towards self-destruction. We desperately need you alive, at our side, for all that is to come.”

“All that is to come,” once again, goes unnamed, but the site reemphasizes, “Let’s admit that the kind of protest activity that has taken place thus far in the United States has not served to compel the U.S. government to compel a halt to the genocide in Gaza. It is an open question of what could accomplish that. Aaron’s action challenges us to answer this question—and to answer it differently than he did.”

The site is careful about its rhetoric to the point of esoteric writing, but there is a small indication of what it means by “differently.” It states, “If nothing else, Aaron’s action shows that genocide cannot take place overseas without collateral damage on this side of the ocean.”

It is quite clear what “collateral damage” means in this context: dead people. Such dead people will be produced, the site forthrightly states, “differently.” That is, they will not be produced by suicide. People will be murdered.

I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that the implications of this are fairly obvious: The pro-Hamas fifth column in the U.S. intends to kill people. Given the atrocities of the current moment, it is impossible to imagine that most if not all of those people will be Jews. It seems that however careful they may be about saying so, the death cultists in the U.S. intend to imitate their fellow death cultists in Gaza. The death drive will seek to sate itself on American Jews as it did on Israeli Jews. The pleasures inherent are too much for the cultists to resist.

Major Jewish organizations, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and all relevant agencies should take note: Bushnell’s death was not just a suicide, it was also an exhortation to murder—and people are listening.

More Gun Laws to Prevent Suicide??

 Today we read of a story about a 21 yr old girl who was having mental problems so she went to a gun shop and bought a gun, after lying on the Federal form about her mental health, and then shot herself dead.  The family and most folks on the Left want more laws to prevent this from happening again.  So let’s say this girl was denied the right to purchase a gun, couldn’t she have killed herself by hanging, taking an overdose of pills, carbon monoxide poisoning in her own car or 20 other ways to kill your self?  Maybe we should pass a law that anyone going on the roof of a building has to pass a mental health exam so they can’t jump to their death?  Why in the world is suicide brought up in the “gun violence” debate?

Hailey’s friends and family have started a petition to create what they are calling “Hailey’s Law,” which would mandate a comprehensive mental health evaluation for people seeking to purchase guns, putting into effect at least a two day hold before purchasing.

With Hailey’s passing, her family also made the decision to donate her organs.

“So while I’m happy that all of her organs were able to be donated to people and then was able to help save them, I’d rather my daughter be here,” says Strong.

When you buy a gun, you have to fill out a federal form that asks if you’ve ever spent time in a mental health institution. Family members say Hailey said no, so she was still able to buy a gun.

Biblical Morality is a Necessity of Freedom

America became great because of our belief in the God of the Bible and His son Jesus.  The lessons and morality taught there are why we used to know and agree that stealing, adultery, fornication, lying, murder, gay sex, gay marriage and divorce are wrong.  We didn’t have to question whether or not any of our leaders questioned this fact.  I would encourage you to read the entire article but I posted the end of it below.  Today the Left wants you to believe that America is an awful place and that “religion” has no role in the future of America.  How wrong they are!  America will soon implode when the godless start to overwhelm the God-fearing.  We don’t have enough police, prisons, addiction treatment centers, foster care and homeless shelters to deal with the flood of Jesus-rejecting lawlessness that is coming our way.

Earl Warren served as Governor of California and was the 14th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. In a Time magazine interview conducted in February of 1954, shortly after President Eisenhower had appointed him as Chief Justice, he made this observation about our Christian heritage, he said, “I believe no one can read the history of our country without realizing that the Good Book and the spirit of the Savior have from the beginning been our guiding geniuses… I believe the entire Bill of Rights came into being because of the knowledge our forefathers had of the Bible and their belief in it. I like to believe we are living today in the spirit of the Christian religion. I like also to believe that as long as we do so, no great harm can come to our country.”

Dwight Eisenhower served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II. He also served two terms as our 34th President. He made this observation about the relationship between religion and government: “Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first and the most basic expression of Americanism.”

Ronald Reagan, our 40th President, expressed a similar sentiment when he proclaimed: “America needs God more than God needs America. If we ever forget that we are “One Nation under God,” then we will be a Nation gone under.”

Well as you can see from the survey of expressions concerning our nation’s Christian heritage, that heritage has been recognized and lauded by our leaders from the beginning until the latter part of the 20th Century. It has only been in recent years that this important heritage has been denied and disparaged.

A Foreigner’s Perspective

Even foreigners who visited the country recognized the significance of our Christian heritage. Take, for example, the French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville who visited the United States in the early 1830’s. In 1835 he published the first of a two volume study of this nation, titled, Democracy in America. He revealed that the intertwining of Christianity with government was very surprising to him.

He wrote these words, “Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention; and the longer I stayed there, the more did I perceive the great political consequences resulting from this state of things, to which I was unaccustomed. In France I had almost always seen the spirit of religion and the spirit of freedom pursuing courses diametrically opposed to each other; but in America I found that they were intimately united, and that they reigned in common over the same country. The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other.”

Is America still a Christian nation?

Although 85% of Americans identify themselves as Christians, only about 9% at the most would claim to be born-again, Evangelical Christians. This means that most Americans are simply professing Christians, or cultural Christians.

But this sad fact does not negate the historical evidence that our Founding Fathers established this nation on Christian principles and that those principles still serve as the basis of our constitutional structure and our laws.

The problem, of course, is that those with [a progressive] viewpoint are determined to cut America loose from its Judeo-Christian foundation. They have a classic European-style Humanist worldview that despises Christianity and Capitalism, and the result is that freedom is endangered.

We are speeding toward a secular, pagan society devoid of values that contribute to virtue and civility. And if this transition continues unabated, our system of government will not be able to survive, for it is based upon the assumption of a citizenry that is endowed with biblical truths.

We need to pray for our nation as never before. We need to pray that the schemes of the secularists will be frustrated, confused, and defeated.

The Level of Crazy in Our Society Has Reached Heights NEVER Seen Before

This guy asks what we’ve been asking;  what does happen when the crazy people and criminals and addicts outnumber the same people who are going to work, raising kids, paying taxes and trying to be decent citizens of America?  I’ll let you read some of the examples he writes about.  But we know what is happening and it’s only going to get worse.  When people reject their Creator and believe they should follow their hearts and do what makes them happy, you are talking about a breakdown of civilization.  America needs to come back to The Fear of the Lord…but we aren’t holding our breath because we believe we are simply too far down the road towards the 70th Week of Daniel.

What happens to a society when the number of crazy people surpasses the number of normal people?  Unfortunately, I think that we aren’t too far away from finding out.  A survey that was conducted late last year discovered that 90 percent of Americans believe that we are experiencing a mental health crisis right now.  Tens of millions of Americans are currently taking pills for their mental or emotional health, and the number of Americans that are killing themselves just keeps going higher and higher with each passing year.  But numbers certainly aren’t necessary to prove that the level of crazy in our society has reached heights never seen before.  All you have to do to prove that our society is descending into an abyss of insanity is to go out into the streets.

Ocean Current Could Collapse and Put Europe Into Ice Age

 I think it's called "doom scrolling".  This is the practice of looking for headlines that spell out humanity's doom and then makes people feel really bad.  We must admit that this blog has carried hundreds of posts about the imminent doom of humanity but we do it for a much different reason that hoping to make our readers feel hopeless and bad.  We do it to point to the headlines that everyone is seeing and reading and to make us WAKE UP because our redemption is drawing near!  This is GOOD NEWS!  As followers of Christ we simply don't have to fear ANYTHING that this fallen world has to throw at us.  Even if the mountains fall into the sea we don't need to fear.

So with that refresher, let's look at another "imminent doom" article that has been scrolling across MSN.com.

Scientists are sounding the alarm that a crucial component of the planet's climate system is in gradual decline and could one day reach a tipping point that would radically alter global weather patterns.

The Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, or AMOC, is a system of ocean currents that circulate water in the Atlantic Ocean like a conveyor belt, helping to redistribute heat and regulate global and regional climates. New research, however, warns that the AMOC is weakening under a warming climate, and could potentially suffer a dangerous and abrupt collapse with worldwide consequences.

"This is bad news for the climate system and humanity," researchers from Utrecht University's Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Research wrote in a new study published in the journal Science Advances.

Considering the AMOC is the workhorse of the Atlantic, the consequences of such a collapse would result in "hugely chaotic changes in global weather patterns" that extend far beyond the Atlantic, said Daniel Swain, a climate scientist with UCLA who was not involved in the study.

"It would plunge Europe into essentially a regionalized Ice Age, while leaving the rest of the world on its continued warming path," Swain said. "The Southern Hemisphere would roast, the Pacific storm track would go kind of nuts, and there would be these extreme shifts in weather patterns that are very different from what you would expect from a more incremental or linear warming path."

The odds of such a collapse are low — about 5% or 10% this century, according to some researchers — but the consequences are so great that it would be unwise to ignore the possibility, Swain said.

"There's still a [90%] to 95% chance that won't happen, but would you be willing to bet the farm on a [90%] to 95% chance that something like this doesn't happen?" he said. "Would you get on a plane if there were a [90%] to 95% chance that it won't crash? I certainly wouldn't."

The AMOC moves water in the Atlantic Ocean from north to south and back again in a long cycle, but there are indications that it has been weakening over the last century, including a roughly 15% decrease since 1950.

The system relies on a delicate balance of warm surface water and cold, salty water that sinks toward the sea floor, which together keep the current churning. But as the planet warms, melting glaciers and ice sheets — such as the Greenland ice sheet — are adding more freshwater to the system, which is diluting its salinity and disrupting traditional patterns.

"It's a self-amplifying feedback loop mainly affecting salinity, and the fresher the North Atlantic Ocean becomes, the weaker the AMOC, until you reach a critical value," said René van Westen, the study's lead author.

The study does not place a time frame on when such a collapse could occur, and Van Westen said such estimates can be controversial. But the paper was the first to demonstrate that the AMOC can reach a tipping point if enough freshwater is added to the system.

Of course scientists have been sounding our imminent doom for as long as any of us can remember.  We could list 15 things in the past 50 years including melting ice caps, rising sea levels, ice age coming for America in the 1970's, too hot, too cold, magnetic poles are going to flip, sun is going to explode, meteor could hit us and kill everyone, etc...

We do think that a lot of these things could and will happen during the Great Tribulation which is set to happen a lot sooner than anyone thinks.  And maybe this current warning WILL HAPPEN sometime soon...after the rapture of the church and during the time that Jesus said will be the worst time earth will ever experience.  In fact, He says, if He didn't return to put a stop to it, NO FLESH ON EARTH WOULD SURVIVE.  Now that sounds like a warning that science should pay heed to!

Cell Phone Outage Last Week Shows Infrastructure Vulnerability

 Maybe some of you awoke last week and realized your cell phone didn't work?  My wife and I have AT&T and while my phone wasn't out, my wife's just said SOS.  How long would it be out?  What if you had to contact someone?  Does anyone have land lines anymore?  Do we know anyone's phone number even if we did have to dial it on a landline??  I know for a fact that I don't know my kids phone numbers if I could find a landline to dial them anyway.  And even if I did, what good would it be if their phone was out??

As we have always said, technology is awesome...until it doesn't work.

What would we do if we suddenly couldn't use the Internet or our phones any longer?  For a lot of people, such a scenario would be unthinkable.  

In fact, it felt like the "world is ending" for many AT&T customers last week.  The disruption to AT&T's network only lasted for a few hours, but it created quite a frenzy.  

If we are going to see this much panic for an outage that happens for just a few hours, what would our society look like if Internet and phone communication was down for days, weeks or even months?

Once the outage began, federal authorities moved very rapidly to determine whether it was a cyberattack or not...

Federal agencies are 'urgently investigating' whether the massive cellular outage that plagued Americans on Thursday was a cyberattack.

The Federal Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are on the hunt to track down what disrupted service AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and a dozen other cellular providers.

While the agencies have not shared details, a security expert told DailyMail.com that the outage has hallmarks of a hack.

Lee McKnight, associate professor at Syracuse University in New York, said the widespread nature appears to be 'a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack on core Internet infrastructure.'

I have a feeling that they will assure the general public that it was not a cyberattack no matter what they discover.

In situations such as these, keeping everyone calm is often deemed more important than telling them the truth.

Interestingly, pharmacies all over the U.S. were also having major problems on Thursday due to a cyberattack against "one of the biggest healthcare technology companies in the nation"...

Pharmacies all over the country are experiencing delays in prescription orders due to a cyberattack on one of the biggest healthcare technology companies in the nation, Change Healthcare.

Change Healthcare first noticed the "cyber security issue" affecting its networks on Wednesday morning on the East Coast.

According to Change Healthcare, it appears that a "nation-state associated cyber security threat actor" was involved in that attack...

In a statement the firm says it had 'identified a suspected nation-state associated cyber security threat actor had gained access to some of the Change Healthcare information technology systems.'

Are the issues at AT&T and the issues at Change Healthcare related?

I have a feeling that they are, but I certainly cannot prove that.

In any event, the truth is that we have just been put on notice.

Our communication infrastructure is extremely vulnerable, and it can be attacked at literally any moment.

Today, there are a number of foreign powers that possess very robust cyberattack capabilities.

Can you even imagine the chaos that would happen if some hackers from Iran, Russia, North Korea or China were able to knock out our cell service at the same time they were launching some sort of coordinated attack on US assets?  Of course all of these things are totally out of our control and yet every single one of us is totally reliant on these technologies.  It makes us realize how incapable any of us would be to survive if the electricity went out along with our cell phones and the grocery stores went empty and no trucks were coming to resupply them.  We pray these things won't happen before the rapture.
