A record-breaking 100,000 people from Israel and abroad took part in the annual Tel Aviv Gay Pride Parade Friday, which took place as planned despite the arrests made earlier in the week in connection to the 2009 shooting at the LGBT youth center Bar Noar.

Thousands of people crammed into Gan Meir park in central Tel Aviv as the festivities got under way with a community "happening," complete with music performances, stalls representing local organizations and speeches from public figures such as Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat, opposition leader Shelly Yacimovich and Meretz leader Zehava Gal-On.


Once Lapid was able to begin his speech, the crowd became more responsive. Lapid said he came to the parade to talk about "the rights of gay people to marry and adopt children," adding that he was proud of the Israeli gay community and that the community should take pride in itself.

Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat, who was the first ever official representative from the Likud party to speak at the Pride event, was also booed when she took to the stage. "I came here today with love and pride, and I expect you to accept it," she told the heckling crowd.

"I will continue with my love and pride even if there will be some shouting, and I am proud of the Likud's gay pride group," she continued. "You ought to want a group like that in all of the political factions, and not come here to spew hate."

Worst Flooding EVER in Hungary

Hungarians have been warned to prepare for their country's worst floods ever as the Danube is set to reach record levels this weekend.

"We are facing the worst floods of all time," said PM Viktor Orban.

Europe's second-longest river is set to hit unprecedented levels in the capital Budapest in the next few days.

A state of emergency has been declared, and thousands of volunteers have been working to reinforce the banks of the swelling river.

Russian Troops on the Golan?

Most prophecy watchers believe that Russia is going to have some role to play in the Last Days probably as part of an invasion force mentioned in Ezekiel 38....so this breaking news today is interesting...to say the least.

Putin: Russia can replace Austria in Golan UN force

MOSCOW - President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia is ready to send peacekeepers to the Golan Heights to replace Austrian forces after Vienna said it would recall its troops from a UN monitoring force due to worsening fighting in Syria.

"We could replace the leaving Austrian contingent in this region on the border between Israeli troops and the Syrian army," Putin told the RIA Novosti news agency.

No Gold In Fort Knox?

OK friends....there are a few concerning tidbits of info in this next article that could put a serious wrinkle in our day.

Remember, (for the 36th time) that our current financial system is based on confidence and faith.  "Backed by the full faith and confidence of the U.S. Government"...is what the paper money says.  It's no longer backed by silver and gold.

And remember that the ENTIRE WORLD has it's currency system pegged to ours....meaning that if ours were to zero out in the confidence department....so would most of the rest of Western Civilization.

A former insider at the World Bank, ex-Senior Counsel Karen Hudes, says the global financial system is dominated by a small group of corrupt, power-hungry figures centered around the privately owned U.S. Federal Reserve. The network has seized control of the media to cover up its crimes, too, she explained. In an interview with The New American, Hudes said that when she tried to blow the whistle on multiple problems at the World Bank, she was fired for her efforts. Now, along with a network of fellow whistleblowers, Hudes is determined to expose and end the corruption. And she is confident of success. 

Citing an explosive 2011 Swiss study published in the PLOS ONE journal on the “network of global corporate control,” Hudes pointed out that a small group of entities — mostly financial institutions and especially central banks — exert a massive amount of influence over the international economy from behind the scenes. “What is really going on is that the world’s resources are being dominated by this group,” she explained, adding that the “corrupt power grabbers” have managed to dominate the media as well. “They’re being allowed to do it.”

According to the peer-reviewed paper, which presented the first global investigation of ownership architecture in the international economy, transnational corporations form a “giant bow-tie structure.” A large portion of control, meanwhile, “flows to a small tightly-knit core of financial institutions.” The researchers described the core as an “economic ‘super-entity’” that raises important issues for policymakers and researchers. Of course, the implications are enormous for citizens as well.

Hudes, an attorney who spent some two decades working in the World Bank’s legal department, has observed the machinations of the network up close. “I realized we were now dealing with something known as state capture, which is where the institutions of government are co-opted by the group that’s corrupt,” she told The New American in a phone interview. “The pillars of the U.S. government — some of them — are dysfunctional because of state capture; this is a big story, this is a big cover up.”

“The group that we’re talking about from the Zurich study — that’s the Federal Reserve; it has some other pieces to it, but that’s the Federal Reserve,” Hudes explained. “So the Federal Reserve secretly dominated the world economy using secret, interlocking corporate directorates, and terrorizing anybody who managed to figure out that they were having any kind of role, and putting people in very important positions so that they could get a free pass.”

The shadowy but immensely powerful Bank for International Settlements serves as “the club of these private central bankers,” Hudes continued. “Now, are people going to want interest on their country’s debts to continue to be paid to that group when they find out the secret tricks that that group has been doing? Don’t forget how they’ve enriched themselves extraordinarily and how they’ve taken taxpayer money for the bailout.”

As far as intervening in the gold price, Hudes said it was an effort by the powerful network and its central banks to “hold onto its paper currency” — a suspicion shared by many analysts and even senior government officials. The World Bank whistleblower also said that contrary to official claims, she did not believe there was any gold being held in Fort Knox. Even congressmen and foreign governments have tried to find out if the precious metals were still there, but they met with little success. Hudes, however, believes the scam will eventually come undone.

U.S Senator Says Aliens Are Here

Are we getting closer to FULL DISCLOSURE on what all these UFO's, crop circles and extraterrestrial sightings actually are?...or at least what the governments of the world THINK they are?

Transgender Prom Queen Elected

So let me think about this for a second....since a Prom Queen is always a female...this story must be about a man who thinks he is a woman so has started dressing like one...and HE got elected as the Prom Queen at his high school!!

Cody Tubman proudly donned her sash the day after the big dance. The teen tells FOX 25 she "came out" freshman year to her mother, Tammy.

"I leaned over and I gave him a big hug," said Tammy.

Cody began dressing as a woman around sophomore year and the high school was responsive to her needs, allowing her to use the female bathrooms and locker rooms.

"I thought people weren't gonna understand and that's what I was afraid of. But, people did understand," said Tammy.

Principal Paul Branagan expressed his pride in the student body's atmosphere of acceptance.

"This is a community and a school community in particular that is very accepting and I think that's a true testament to that," said Branagan.

Cody was the belle of the ball Tuesday as she proudly wore her tiara.

"It was surprising and it was exciting, cause I was like, we're coming really far," Cody explained.

As a parent, how would YOU feel if a man with a penis and testicles, started sharing a locker room and showers with your high school daughter at school?

If you don't approve....you had best keep your comments to yourself...because you will be called an "intolerant hater."

I wonder what Cody had to do to get into the girl's locker room?  Did he just have to put on a dress one day and tell people he felt like a woman...and they automatically gave him the key to the girl's locker?

How is the government going to make a person prove that they are gay or transgender?  Will you have to submit pictures of yourself engaging in gay sex (like the Turkish Army)....or will they just take your word for it and let ANY MAN who claims to be a woman walk right into any woman's bathroom, locker room, shower or sauna that they want?

Will it be like becoming a resident of new state?...where maybe you have to dress like the opposite sex for 6 months and 1 day of the previous year in order to PROVE that you are transgender?

Will you actually have to have your penis removed and a vagina fashioned....or can you just keep your penis and parade it around in the YMCA shower with all the women and little girls there?

This is going to lead to all sorts of opportunity for mischief.

Friends, now that Pandora's box has been opened and every perverse thought or action HAS TO BE TOLERATED AND ACCEPTED as "good"....it simply can't go back to the way it was!!

We ARE heading down the road to destruction....where every man (or woman) does whatever they want...where personal desires trump societal needs...and morals are whatever you can dream up. (anarchy)

A Sissified, Needy Jesus

Some of you may have heard of the preacher named Voddie Baucham.  He is an old fashioned, hell-fire and brimstone, black pastor who tells it like it is.  Praise the Lord!!

If you want to say, "Amen!", please watch this 5 minute YouTube clip where he says that most pulpits are preaching a sissified, needy version of Jesus where he desperately needs you...and his heart is breaking for you...and he just sits there helpless, begging you to come to him. Of course most of the liberal believers of Jesus believe just that!  Their Jesus is a docile, non-violent, fairly feminine man who came to earth to show us how to SAVE THE EARTH, be tolerant of everyone and everything and certainly to recycle, shun fossil fuels and STOP global warming.

How surprised they will be when Jesus of Revelation 19 returns to earth bringing the wrath of God!

Are We Humans Simply Living in a Simulation?

What really IS reality? 

The Bible tells us over and over that what we are experiencing right now is not REAL!  The UNSEEN THINGS are all that is real, Paul tells us.

Peter tells us that one day the whole sky will be rolled back like a scroll and only then will we see things as they REALLY are.

Hmmm.....so you think we may just be living in one giant simulation that God has created for the purposes of pointing out the Children of the Light and for letting us discover the good works that He prepared in advance for us to do?

Ever since the birth of Quantum Theory there has been speculation—some privately held, some very public—of what the implications of the existence of quanta really means. As measuring devices improved dramatically, they provided more clarity to the issue. Today it is an accepted “truth” that everything is quantized. Energy (as well as length, time, and mass) exists in discrete quantities, divisions if you will.

There are also other side-effects to this discovery. Everything is “connected.” All particles on the quantum level know what the other particles are doing, regardless of distance, instantaneously. Let that sink in. Also, there is a size at which, when dividing the particle in half, it becomes “non-local.” It is nowhere and everywhere. Every measurement of the universe in which we reside has a “quantum limitation.”

Since what we know of reality is based solely on our perception (what we see, hear, feel, taste and smell), it appears there is a foundational structure upon which all of the details “hang.”

If we entertain the idea that the Universe is not gravitationally based but is electrical, it certainly would fit even our most common understanding of a computer-generated simulation. Because of the many difficulties with the gravitational model of the universe, many physicists are being convinced of an electrical model. Many of the issues concerning missing mass, celestial interactions, black holes and the abnormality of temperatures on our own Sun dissolve with the electrical theory.

There is a movie from a few years back (The Thirteenth Floor) in which the simulated characters of a simulated world are confronted with the fundamental limitations of their “reality.” Because of the limitations of structure, they were forced to conclude they were living within a “program” created by an outside source.

Ironically, this is where the physicists of our time find themselves. Disregarding what the Bible has said all along, of course, they are seeking to quantify and confirm the obvious, yet unwanted, conclusion to where the evidence is leading them. Like all good “scientists” they are trying to creatively foster any explanation other than a Creator that loves them and has been trying to inform them in every way possible.

The interesting analysis that drives them is that we have “noticed” that our reality has limitations. It is not a foregone conclusion that if some alien culture is behind this simulation, it would be constructed in a way we could understand it. Since we can, at least so far, understand its limitations, this means one of two things; either the designer is like us or it is constructed for our discovery. Either scenario causes secular scientists headaches. How could “they” be like us when they are capable of such technologies? And why would they care that we can discover limitations that should be invisible to the participant?

Many are seeing this edge of reality as an obstacle to be overcome. They talk of entering into the “real world” by their own intellect and effort. This is vaguely reminiscent of the Tower of Babel. As man stumbles forward, the higher probability is of misstep. If God acted at Babel to halt their development capabilities, what more could He have in store for us now?

Holy Matrix!!  What if this whole "human experience" is just one big computer simulation?!?! 

Wouldn't that explain how God "knew us" before the foundations of the earth were created?!

Wouldn't that explain how He prepared good works "in advance" for us to complete?

Wouldn't this explain why when Jesus returns we will see him like he REALLY is because we will be LIKE HIM?!

Also notice the last few sentences and how scientists are on the verge of building their own TOWER OF BABEL to discover what is behind our reality...and then become like gods themselves!!

Yes, yes!  If God halted the Tower of Babel then...what may He have in store for us now?

I'm glad I know who my redeemer is!!....because all of this is way too complicated for my pea brain to figure out! 

Maybe that's a reason that Jesus said we need to come to him with faith like a child?

Finally one more side note...have you ever seen the XBOX/PLAYSTATION game called Sim City?  In that video game, YOU are the designer!  You set up buildings, streets, businesses, forests, sidewalks, etc...and then you pluck little people out of thin air and set them up in your simulated world and watch them walk around doing all the little tasks that you prepared IN ADVANCE for them to do.....think about it.

 

 

Widest Tornado EVER!!

Poor Oklahoma!  Another day of tornadoes coming.  Of course we would say that this is simply more evidence of birth pangs as the earth continues to groan.

El Reno tornado, at 2.6 miles across, was widest on record

The tornado that struck El Reno, Okla., on Friday night is believed to be the widest on record in the United States at 2.6 miles across, the National Weather Service reported on Tuesday.

The May 31 twister beat the previous record, a 2.5-mile wide storm that struck Hallam, Neb., on May 22, 2004
.
The Friday tornado and its resulting flooding claimed 18 lives, including six children and a dozen adults, the Oklahoma Medical Examiner reported on Tuesday. Six of the victims remain unidentified.

Area hospitals treated 115 injuries after Friday’s storm, the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management said.

Worst Flooding in 500 Years

Here in the USA it would seem that The West is on fire while parts of the Midwest and South are flooding.

Millions of acres of prime corn ground have not even been planted as it hasn't dried up enough to get tractors into the fields.

I wonder how that may affect food prices this fall....since corn syrup, corn starch, corn meal and corn sweeteners are put in about 90% of the grocery store products we buy.

So for those of us in Wright County, MN...we will try not to complain too loudly about our cold, damp spring....because a person doesn't have to go too far in any direction to find things much worse.

So this headline caught my eye today as pretty extreme;

Flooding worst in 500 years in parts of Europe
PRAGUE, Czech Republic, June 3 (UPI) -- Deadly flooding in some parts of central Europe Monday reached levels unseen for 500 years, officials said. The death toll was at least nine.
In the Czech Republic, where the deaths of at least seven people were attributed to floodwaters and 3,000 people were forced from their homes, dams were opened to relieve the pressure, pushing the River Vltava higher. The river, which flows through Prague, the capital, was expected to crest Tuesday morning, the BBC reported.

Main roads throughout central Europe were closed and rail service was cut. Electricity in some areas was turned off as a precaution.

At least eight people were reported missing, including three in Austria, officials said.

In Germany, more than 7,000 people were evacuated from their homes in Eilenburg. The city of Rosenheim also was under a state of emergency.

In Saxony, water levels on the River Mulde were said to be particularly high.

Bavaria's flood-alert service said the forecast called for heavy rain that could worsen the flooding along the Danube and the Inn rivers, and other rivers in the area.

Prague was on high alert amid fears floodwaters could envelope its historic center, including the 14th century Charles Bridge and other buildings near the riverbank.

Is it just me?....or does there seem to be a lot of BIRTH PANGS going on all over the world?

What's amazing is that as the frequency of extreme events increases....people, even within The Church, seem to fall into a deeper level of sleep.  It's almost like the amazing news is coming so fast that they get numb to it, so they turn the channel to American Idol or the Stanley Cup and refuse to look at the signs all around.

Here are a few things to ponder....in 50 years, most of the folks reading this blog will have died and faced either of two outcomes;  Jesus and eternal life OR they will be in hell awaiting final judgment from Christ at the end of the Millennium.

However, IF the trumpet blows later today, or next month, or next year...those who have accepted Christ will be with him for eternity.

Either way...those of us who know Christ have a VERY SHORT amount of time left in these earthly, human bodies.

So what shall we do with that short amount of time?  Spend our time planning our homes, cabins, cars, 401k's, and all the other material possessions of our dreams?...OR...should we spend our few remaining years attempting to discover and DO the good works which Jesus prepared in advance for us to do?

Of course the answer is obvious....it's just that the voices of this materialistic, consumer society keep calling to us SO LOUDLY!

The False Propserity We Are Currently Enjoying

Hey!  Things are looking up!!  Car and pick-up truck sales are setting records!  The restaurants are packed!  Housing prices just recorded their biggest uptick in years!  Unemployment numbers are heading down!  Consumer confidence is on the rise!  Things are awesome!  Happy days are here again!

Or are they?....

The article below lists 18 specific signs that the world's financial system may be about ready to suffer a serious shock...maybe in the next 40 days.

This is no time to be complacent. Massive economic problems are erupting all over the globe, but most people seem to believe that everything is going to be just fine. Unfortunately, the "sugar high" produced by those foolish measures is starting to wear off. We are going to experience a massive amount of economic pain along with the rest of the world - it is just a matter of time.

Wall Street has had a good couple of years, but it has been a "false prosperity" that has been pumped up by reckless money printing by the Federal Reserve. Just like all of the other stock market bubbles that we have seen in recent years, this one is going to burst too. And as Marc Faber recently pointed out, this bubble has been particularly beneficial to the wealthy...

"The Fed has been flooding the system with money. The problem is the money doesn't flow into the system evenly. It doesn't increase economic activity and asset prices in concert. Instead, it creates dangerous excesses in countries and asset classes. Money-printing fueled the colossal stock-market bubble of 1999-2000, when the Nasdaq more than doubled, becoming disconnected from economic reality. It fueled the housing bubble, which burst in 2008, and the commodities bubble. Now money is flowing into the high-end asset market - things like stocks, bonds, art, wine, jewelry, and luxury real estate.
Money-printing boosts the economy of the people closest to the money flow. But it doesn't help the worker in Detroit, or the vast majority of the middle class. It leads to a widening wealth gap. The majority loses, and the minority wins."

What happened back in 2008 was just a preview.

Israel is an Embarrassment to Islam

With all the millions of square miles of territory that Muslims (of all sects) control...why the heck do they have such a HUGE PROBLEM with a few million Jews living on a microscopic piece of land?

Simple answer...the presence of Israel is embarrassing to their claims that "Allah is the greatest!"

Also, the Arabs said that the Jews were descendants of apes and pigs...so how did they kick the living crap out the Arabs who made those claims?  That IS embarrassing!!

At 4:00PM on May 14, 1948 the modern State of Israel was born, and that obviously makes May 14, 2013 her 65th birthday. Bible students who for centuries believed that the ancient Hebrew prophets wrote of a literal rebirth of Israel during the last days were finally vindicated. A number of Christians of that day were both astonished and quickened in their spirits as the news gradually filtered down to main-street America and to small churches along the dusty roads of rural communities. No amount of condescending secular/political explanations from prophecy-rejecting, high-brow scholars could temper the excitement in the hearts of those who knew the scriptures and simply believed them.

News soon came that the combined armies of five Arab nations invaded Israel with the stated purpose of annihilating every Jew. The combined military power of Egypt, Transjordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria was defeated by a relatively small group of rag-tag Jews who, in addition to having very limited supplies of small weapons and not even one tank, had just come from the death camps of Nazi Europe. That they prevailed can solely be attributed to God’s hand in the affairs of men and states.

The reaction in the Muslim world, however, was quite different. They, too, were astonished, but for a different reason. For centuries prior to 1948 Muslims had been instilled with the unquestionable and non-debatable Islamic teaching that the land of Palestine belonged to Muslims only. Using the most virulent of speeches the Imams had been assuring the faithful that the Jews would never possess the land itself much less Jerusalem, the 3rd holiest city in Islam following Mecca and Medina. But the Jews did, and this was the deepest of humiliations for the Arab Muslim world. As a result they refer to Israel’s Independence Day as Yawm an-Nakba, “Day of the Catastrophe”.

There are several reasons the Muslim world calls the rebirth of Israel a catastrophe, and they are important. But, before those reasons can be briefly listed something else must be clearly understood. The fact is this: the Muslim world is being used as a powerful tool by Satan in his go-for-broke effort to annihilate the Jewish State and the Jewish people. That is at the crux of the entire conflict that keeps the Middle East, and the entire world, on the precipice of a heated war.

Yes sir!!  Islam IS being used as a powerful tool of Satan!  Satan knows that if he has ANY CHANCE of breaking God's Word he NEEDS TO DESTROY ISRAEL AND ALL THE JEWS!!

If he can destroy Israel after it has been re birthed, Satan can then call in all the angelic host and say, "See!  I can thwart God's plan!  I am the greatest!!"

If he can kill all the Jews...then there CAN'T be the promised 144,000 Jewish, virgin males to evangelize the world for Christ during The Tribulation.  Also there wouldn't be any Jews left to call out to Messiah to save them near the end of the Tribulation....so you can see why Satan so hates the Jews and Israel...and needs to destroy them both.

As of now he must believe that he has a good chance of doing so with chemical and nuclear weapons...if he can only get them into the hands of the right people....

What an amazing story to watch play out right before our very eyes!

Many Reasons To Expect War This Summer

One has to wonder how long the unrest can continue spilling out of Syria before other neighboring countries get dragged in.

Maybe this summer would be a good time for Israel to open up their arsenal and put a little rest to all the unrest taking place in Syria, Iran, Lebanon, and now Turkey?

Sooner or later Israel will have to bomb Iran. Better sooner, because Iran is quickly approaching Israel’s red line.

Since intelligence is never precise, why wait til the last minute?

Summer and early fall is the best time to attack because that’s when the sky is the clearest.

Israel is committed to destroying the S-300 missile defense systems should they arrive in Syria.

Close to 5,000 Hizbullah troops, if not more, are now fighting in Syria. Thus they are concentrated, which makes their destruction easier. Also they are no longer guarding, with full force, their missiles stored in Lebanon.

Israel could call for a mobilization due to perceived threats from Syria. Then it could mount an all-out ground attack on the stockpile of missiles in Lebanon. The Sunnis in Lebanon, including the Lebanese government, would probably stand aside and let Israel solve their Hizbullah problem for them.

Israel could then go east and destroy the Hizbullah troops.

Hamas would stay quiet because it is in Qatar’s interest and Turkey’s interest that they do so. Qatar and Turkey would love to see Israel destroy Hizbullah because that would aid their efforts to bring down Assad.

Obama would like that too. It would take the pressure off the US to act.

It would be nice to get Hizbullah out of the way for when Israel attacks Iran. Saudi Arabia and Qatar would be supportive.

It certainly appears that the conditions are lining up EXACTLY for something VERY prophetic to happen.

The players of Isaiah 17, Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 are all being put on the stage at the same time...and Israel will be right in the middle of it all!

How awesome that Bible believers know how it all ends!! 

We need to pray like Daniel and say, "Lord, you have told us in your Word what you are going to do so now we pray that you will do it!"

As always, NOW is the time that we all need to tell our lost friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc....that God is moving and His Word is active!  We need Christ as the ONLY answer for eternal life.
