Summoning Up Demons?

 Artificial Intelligence is 100% a “Very Last Days” phenomenon.  How do you control an intelligence that doubles its knowledge every few days and will have read every book ever published in the entire world in the next few months?  How will you control a machine who is the best computer hacker in the world?  And certainly we all know that it won’t take AI very long to realize that humans are the problem behind all bad things on earth.  We are the murderers, the thieves, the polluters, rapists, drug addicts, porn addicts and the folks who hold the keys to nuclear destruction.  So how long before AI tries to shut off the worst offenders on planet earth, humans?  And as a Bible believer, we can be quite certain that Satan and his minions will be inside the AI machines leading the way in some global plot to kill all humans.  He came to  murder and destroy and AI will almost certainly be part of the Great Tribulation on the prophetic horizon.

The first troubling headline I saw stated, “Ex-Google Executive Anthony Levandowski is Founding a Church Where People Worship an Artificial Intelligence God.”

The second headline read, “Why Humans Will Happily Follow a Robot Messiah.”

I started watching videos online of robots who look human and who “think.” They answer questions and seem to process real thoughts. Developers of these robots say someday they will solve society’s problems. Such men also believe that it is possible for artificial intelligence to be a billion times smarter than humans. Try to process that!

Various leaders in the field of “AI” have made some of the following statements:

• “The human era could be ending and machines will take over.”
• “He who develops AI rules the world. We aren’t going to be able to control it.”
• “We are summoning up demons.”
• “We are playing with fire.”
• “This is one of the dumbest things we can do.”
• “Soon robots will walk among us. They will play with us, teach us, and they will truly be our friends.”
• “AI will be smarter than humans and will become a god.”
• “AI could become the worst event in the history of civilization.”
• “In the end, the machines will win.”

Maybe this new religion isn’t the promise of paradise after all. Some promoting AI are evangelists and some of them offer a new Promised Land. But some of the very movers and shakers of the artificial intelligence industry are sounding serious warnings.

Red Heifers Ready for the Passover?

 We already know that a Bible believer from Texas came up with the red heifers and they are in Israel awaiting the day that maybe they will be used to make the ashes that will purify the priest.  And we already know that Hamas and the agents of Satan are watching this curious development and even credited their decision to invade Israel on October 7 because of their awareness of the red heifers.

Can this story get any stranger??  You simply can't make this stuff up!!

As the article says, most secular Jews are totally unaware of what is going on with the Temple and the red heifers...because they don't read their scriptures just like most Americans don't read their Bibles.

Game changing developments are happening right now in Israel concerning the Third Temple. Probably the most critical missing link preventing the rebuilding of the Temple, is set to fall into place within months with crucial help from Christians. 

Meanwhile Hamas is watching the developments closely and have even claimed it to be a major part of their motivation for the heinous Oct. 7 terror attack. With tensions already at boiling point across the Middle East, will we shortly see Israel take bold steps towards rebuilding the Temple? 

Christian Rancher Provides the Missing Link

The final missing piece of the Third Temple project - the infamous ashes of a red heifer - is now only months away from falling into place. Theses ashes are Biblically mandated for purification in a range of situations including contact with dead bodies (see Num. 19). 

Without the red heifer ashes, priests and Levites currently in training with the Temple Institute are disqualified from serving in a future rebuilt Temple. Furthermore, with all the bloodshed on the Temple Mount down through the centuries, the Mount itself must be cleansed before the Temple can be built.

The problem is that finding an unblemished red heifer is extremely rare. In recent years, Temple activists have had their efforts end in frustration time and again. Potential red heifer candidates have been located with great excitement, only to end up later developing white hairs or getting otherwise disqualified before they reach the required age to be sacrificed. 

It was in this context that Byron Stinson, a Christian rancher from Texas, baffled Rabbis in 2022 as he invited them to his ranch to inspect what turned out to be five unblemished red heifers.

What happened next sounds almost like it was taken from a Hollywood movie script as the heifers were airlifted to Israel at around 1 year old (how do you even go about flying cows to the Holy Land?). Being greeted at the airport with a special ceremony officiated by Rabbis, the heifers were then taken out of the public eye to continue being quietly and meticulously groomed for the sacrifice. 

Although one of the five was disqualified last year due to the emergence of a few white hairs, the remaining four remain on track to be eligible to be sacrificed this year. According to All Israel News, Temple Institute Rabbis hope to perform this ceremony prior to Passover this year while other sources claim it will happen sometime between Passover and Pentecost.  

Linking Cows and Terror

While the story of the flight of the five heifers to Israel and their subsequent journey has certainly stirred great excitement among Temple activists as well as Christian students of Bible Prophecy, it curiously hardly got a mention in mainstream Israeli news. 

It will surprise many Christians to discover that by and large, secular Israelis are uninterested and unaware of these developments. In addition, many Orthodox Jews are opposed to the any current moves to rebuild the Temple as most hold that it can only be rebuilt by the Messiah in the Messianic era. 

However, the radical Islamic world understands the significance of the arrival of the red heifers and are incensed by their presence. It was no co-incidence that Hamas called its infamous and deadly October 7 terror attack "Operation Al Aqsa Flood". Speaking at the 100 day mark of the current war with Israel, Abu Obeida, a military spokesman for Hamas, said that the aggression against "our path and Al-Aqsa" reached its peak with the "bringing of red cows."

Hamas' passionate calls for the 'liberation' of the Al Aqsa mosque from the Israeli threat, hits receptive ears in the Islamic world. Highlighting the broad level of Islamic concern for this site, the Organization of Islamic Co-Operation was founded in 1969 with the specific goal of protecting the Al-Aqsa mosque. Today this influential organization boasts 56 member states and is the second largest intergovernmental organization in the world after the UN.

Will there be a Third Temple?

Israeli government officials of all persuasions are highly aware of Islamic sensitivities concerning the Temple Mount and have through the years repeatedly committed themselves to maintaining the 'status quo' on the Temple Mount for this very reason.

While the ashes of a red heifer may become available in the next few months,  the Temple rebuilding project still seems unrealistic in the current environment. The fears of the Israeli government leaders of sparking all out war, combined with the lack of interest and even outright opposition from many Israelis to the project, makes it seem completely impossible.

However, the events of October 7 show how quickly long-held views can change. Prior to this heinous terror attack, the majority of Israelis were seeking to get on with their lives in some kind of peaceful co-existence with Hamas being contained by Israel's state of the art border fence. The dismal failure of this high-tech fence to stop the October 7 attack has smashed this long-held Israeli view, changing the perspective of the nation overnight into a determined decision to eradicate Hamas from its borders. Similarly, I believe that long held Israeli reservations towards the Third Temple will one day change. 

What does the Bible say?

'...not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord' (Zec 4:6)

Rebuilding the Temple seemed completely impossible for the impoverished Jews returning from Babylonian captivity in the days of Nehemiah. Into this context of mounting opposition from surrounding nations and countless delays, Zechariah the prophet spoke the above words of encouragement proclaiming that God Himself would make a way by His Spirit. 

Through the prophecies of Zechariah and Haggai, God's Spirit indeed strengthened the hands of the builders, paved the way politically and enabled the miraculous construction of the Second Temple which stood when Jesus came to earth. Couldn't God do the same again in our day?

I believe that both Old and New Testament Bible prophecy is clear that the Temple will be rebuilt in the End times. In his famous Olivet discourse, Jesus predicted "when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place .... then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains...For then there will be great tribulation" (Matt 24:15-21). 

While some Bible prophecy teachers interpret these words of Jesus in symbolic sense, Jesus' Jewish listeners would have understood His words quite literally. They would have seen His words as referring back to an almost identical event that occurred around 170 B.C. where a literal idol was erected in the Temple leading to widespread persecution. Jesus' prophecy was therefore seen as predicting a literal repeat of these events to occur in a real physical Temple in Jerusalem at the End of Days. 

Being Ready

The Temple Institute speak of the shame they would feel if they were given the go-ahead to build the Temple tomorrow and were caught completely unprepared. They have therefore spent many years in meticulous preparation and training for that day to come, and the ashes of the red heifer will mark the crowning achievement of this preparation. 

While many Israelis are unaware of these developments, so too is much of the Church. Just as He promised, Jesus is soon returning to this earth to rule and these developments point us to the nearness of His coming. Following the example of the Temple Institute, we too should be preparing ourselves for the soon fulfilment of prophecy, doing everything in our power to be ready for that great day. 

Let us also remember to pray not only for the fulfilment of Bible prophecy and the coming of the Messianic kingdom, but also for the eternal destinies of Jews and Arabs caught up in the current and future waves of conflict. Days of great tension lie ahead, but God's purpose in the midst of these shakings is to bring many people into His Kingdom. May we all play our part at this significant time in history.

Jesus told the Jews that when they see the abomination that cause desolation standing in the Holy Place that the Jews should flee!  This would certainly suggest that a 3rd Temple is, in fact, coming!  The pieces seem to all be coming together while 99% of the world is eating, drinking, planting, building, marrying and giving in marriage!  And they have no clue of the flood that may soon be coming to take them all away.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!  Pray for all the lost people and be bold in your witness that Jesus is the only way to escape the coming flood of great tribulation.

Woman Gets Uterus Transplant Now Needs IVF

As you’re making your decision on IVF, here was a related article posted alongside.  It tells the story of a woman born with no uterus.  She ended up getting a uterus transplant but her body can’t get pregnant without IVF.  I can already see the next article that we will post in the coming months, “Man receives uterus transplant and now carrying baby.  When interviewed, the man couldn’t contain his elation. ‘I never thought I’d be able to fulfill my dream of carrying, delivering and nursing a baby!  But thanks to my new uterus, my new vagina and my new mammary implants, I’m going to show the world that babies aren’t only for ladies anymore!”

Something tells me that just because medicine CAN do something doesn’t mean that God gave us the technology to make it possible.

Just because science can splice together the genes of different animals and make chimeras doesn’t mean that doing it is pleasing to God.  Imagine when these purple haired freaks discover they could order an embryo that is half human and half cat so “I can finally fulfill my dreams of having a real cat-girl!” You think I’m kidding?  There is no end to the delusion that takes over these folks who hate The Truth.

Thorny Issues of In-Vitro-Fertilization (IVF)

This ruling in Alabama that embryos are children continues to shed some additional information on the topic that I’m guessing most of us never thought about.  I’m continuing to form my opinion on the topic as I honestly hadn’t given it much thought and honestly don’t know enough about it.  But I can say one thing for sure;  when doctors can start selecting embryos for sex, height, eye color and other factors like intelligence or looks, we are entering into a realm that we aren’t qualified to occupy.  And when a couple demands the doctor adhere to their wishes or “we’ll jus abort it”, something is terribly wrong.

It struck him as a sexist motive, he said, and initially he declined. But the couple pushed back, saying that they would simply abort the baby if it was a girl. “I’m not in the business of bringing in unwanted children,” said Kushnir, who owns West Coast Fertility Centers and teaches at the University of California at Irvine. Kushnir, who ultimately agreed to the couple’s wishes, said he thinks there should be some restrictions on selecting a baby’s sex, but in the United States, there aren’t any.

The Alabama Supreme Court’s surprise ruling in February that frozen embryos are legally children has sparked new scrutiny of in vitro fertilization, a common procedure responsible for about 2 percent of births a year in the United States. Alabama lawmakers swiftly responded with legislation aimed at protecting IVF providers and patients from criminal or civil liability, which the governor signed this week. But the firestorm has reopened ethical questions surrounding the procedure, particularly at a time when would-be parents can choose everything from sex to eye color.

Polls show Americans widely support the procedure and other interventions to help people expand their families. But unlike some other countries, the United States hasn’t regulated screening an embryo’s sex or other traits, like intelligence and height. That has left patients and doctors to navigate thorny ethical questions on their own.

In Montreal on Monday, March 4, 2024, a deeply concerning protest erupted as pro-Hamas demonstrators targeted the entrance to the Federation CJA building and the Holocaust Museum to prevent Jewish community members from attending a scheduled event. The violent mob, chanting the Islamic war cry “Allahu Akbar,” surrounded the Jewish community’s central building in Côte-des-Neiges, where an event titled “Israeli Perspective: Coming to Life” was being held. This not only threatened the safety of Jewish Montrealers but also included calls of “Death to Israel, Death to the Jews,” further escalating tensions in the city.

The Center for Jewish and Israeli Relations (CIJA on Twitter) reported the following about the disturbing scenes: “The ‘Mort à Israël, mort aux Juifs’ (Death to Israel, death to the Jews) was heard yesterday when a hateful crowd surrounded one of the main buildings of the Jewish community. These Islamist chants to kill Jews are a clear call to violence and show the underlying hatred of these demonstrations. The @SPVM (Montreal Police) must investigate and proceed with arrests for this call for the death of 90,000 Quebec citizens.”

Signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars

 We have already blogged on the massive solar eclipse that is coming on April 8.  If you don't know anything about it then there will be plenty to get you plugged in by reading the article below.  But there's more!  It turns out that the planets are all going to line up on April 4th just 4 days before The Great Eclipse!

Of course God says there will be signs in the heavens, in the sun, moon and stars.  We have no idea what this could all mean but we wonder if God is saying, "Here's your sign!  If you had any doubts that Jesus is coming, then here's your sign!  It's never happened in history and it will never happen again!"

The Great American Eclipse of 2024 is truly going to be a once in a lifetime event.  A few days ago, I wrote about how this eclipse will pass over 7 locations named "Ninevah" as it moves across our country.  

Since I wrote that article, I have also learned that the eclipse will go over a location in Texas named "Jonah" too.  That is pretty incredible, but what I have to share with you today is even more amazing.  

Since the Great American Eclipse of 2017, we have been waiting for the Great American Eclipse of 2024, and now it is less than 2 months away. On April 8th, the Great American Eclipse of 2024 will complete the giant "X" over America that the Great American Eclipse of 2017 started. 

Amazingly, on that exact day the seven other planets in our solar system will "line up" in the sky. This is an extremely rare event, and it will never be seen again.

So why am I so concerned about what is going on in the heavens?

In Luke 21:25, Jesus specifically told us that we should watch for "signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars" just prior to His return.

And what I have to share with you today is absolutely amazing.

During the month of April, so many things are going to be happening in the heavens.

Let me start with things that are commonly known.

On April 4th, just 4 days before the Great American Eclipse of 2024, there will be a "planetary alignment" that will involve 4 planets...

The next planetary alignment takes place on April 4, 2024. It will feature four planets - Venus, Neptune, Saturn, and Mars. The planets will align in the morning sky. Venus, Saturn, and Mars will be visible to the naked eye, but you'll need a telescope or high-powered binoculars to see Neptune.

Half of the planets in our solar system will be aligned on that day, and that is pretty remarkable.

In addition, there will be 4 "planetary conjunctions" during the month of April.

On April 3rd, we will witness a conjunction of Venus and Neptune...

On April 3, at 10:53 GMT (06:53 a.m. ET), Venus (mag -3.8) will pass 0°17′ of Neptune (mag 8.0) in the constellation Pisces. Venus is visible with the naked eye, but Neptune requires a telescope or binoculars with good magnification. From the Northern Hemisphere, the conjunction will be difficult to see because the planets will be too close to the eastern horizon in the morning. From the Southern Hemisphere, the event will be slightly easier to see as the planets will be higher above the eastern horizon.

On April 10th, we will witness a conjunction of Mars and Saturn...

On April 10, at 18:46 GMT (2:46 p.m. ET), Mars (mag 1.2) will pass 0°24′ from Saturn (mag 1.1) in the constellation Aquarius. Both planets will be visible to the naked eye. Observers in the Southern Hemisphere will be able to see the planets high above the eastern horizon in the morning. In the Northern Hemisphere, the view will be poorer as the planets will be closer to the eastern horizon, rising just before sunrise.

On April 20th, we will witness a conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus...

On April 20, at 07:30 GMT (03:30 a.m. ET), Jupiter (mag -2.0) and Uranus (mag 5.8) will meet in the constellation Aries. The distance between the planets will be only 0°31′. Observe the planets in the evening, low above the western horizon, just after sunset. This conjunction will be better seen from the Northern Hemisphere; in the Southern Hemisphere, Jupiter and Uranus will be very low. Don't forget to bring binoculars to see Uranus -- this planet is too faint for the naked eye, especially from light-polluted cities.

And on April 29th we will witness a conjunction of Mars and Neptune...

On April 29, at 04:01 GMT (12:01 a.m. ET), Mars (mag 1.1) will pass extremely close to Neptune (mag 7.9) in the constellation Pisces. The apparent distance between the planets will be only 2'14" -- even the distance between Jupiter and Saturn during the Great Conjunction in 2020 was greater (6.1 arcminutes). The conjunction of Mars and Neptune will be much less spectacular, however, because Neptune is too faint to be visible to the naked eye. Grab a pair of binoculars or a telescope and look for the duo in the east in the morning. Observers in the Southern Hemisphere will have a better view.

But everything that I have just shared with you pales in comparison to a discovery that has been made by Rachel Baxter.

In addition to our planet, there are 7 other recognized planets in our solar system.

In January, all 7 of those planets, along with the sun and the moon, began to "line up" in the sky.

This is different from a "planetary alignment".  During a "planetary alignment", several planets appear to be stacked behind one another as one looks out from the Earth.

Beginning in January, 2024 an alignment of the other 7 planets began to take shape and will continue through mid-May. Opposite the earth - when looking from Jerusalem to the East (which I believe is the way the Lord "keeps time" with His planets) all 7 recognized planets will line up in 3 constellations of Pisces, Aries and Taurus. They will look to be in a line (not what people commonly think of as a planetary alignment where the planets disappear into one bright light from our viewpoint.)

Doomsday Glacier

 Here’s just one more article to go into the file of “we’re all gonna die real soon!”  Just remember, God is not on his throne saying, “No!!  Not the glacier!!  This is a catastrophe!  What in the world am I gonna do?”

A couple feet of sea level rise may not sound like a lot. But if sea levels rose by 2 feet worldwide, the effects on coastal communities would be catastrophic.

Cities like New York, Miami, and New Orleans would experience devastating flooding. Across the globe, 97 million people would be in the path of rapidly encroaching waters, putting their homes, communities, and livelihoods at risk.

That's what would happen if the Thwaites glacier, nicknamed the 'doomsday glacier,' collapsed. But it wouldn't stop there.

Largest Fire EVER in Texas!

 Have you noticed all of the billion dollar catastrophes that America seems to be having?  The floods, droughts, quakes, tornadoes and fires just keep racking up.  Today we read of the largest fire EVER in Texas history…and that’s saying something.  Is it God’s judgement starting?  Maybe.  But we think it’s more likely that the world is groaning for its redemption.  It getting tired of the messed up way it’s been since sin changed everything.

The Smokehouse Creek fire in Hutchinson County, Texas, has become the largest wildfire in the state’s history, destroying over 1 million acres and resulting in the death of two individuals and thousands of livestock.

In an update regarding the historic wildfire on Friday, the Texas A&M Forest Service announced, “The #SmokehouseCreekFire in Hutchinson County is an estimated 1,078,086 acres and 15% contained. With conditions yesterday, there was no fire growth. Increase in acreage due to more accurate mapping and this is subject to change.”

According to WFAA, the historic Turkey Track is one of the many ranches devastated by the wildfires. The owners of the ranch have estimated that at least 80% of the ranch’s land has been destroyed.

“The loss of livestock, crops, and wildlife, as well as ranch fencing and other infrastructure throughout our property as well as other ranches and homes across the region is, we believe, unparalleled in our history,” the owners said.

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller told The New York Times that the Texas Panhandle is the location of approximately 85% of the state’s cattle herds, with over 10 million livestock in the region. 

“There are millions of cattle out there, with some towns comprising more cattle than people,” Miller told The Wall Street Journal. “The losses could be catastrophic for those counties. Farmers and ranchers are losing everything.”

Seattle is the Least Religious Large Metro Area

 Not a big surprise here but still very interesting to read the stats.  One would expect that the more Democrats you find in any one area will coincide with a more Godless population.  They may disagree with this if you confront them on the topic and may say something like, “we don’t need a building to be spiritual.  And as long as you’re spiritual then you are going to be a pretty good person.”  The sad fact is that America is turning Left and denying that God had anything to do with making this nation great and that our liberties and freedom are given to us by God and not by failed men.  As the Democrats deny this and gain more votes from their Godless constituents and are elected to more seats and exert more power, America will cease to be great.  The writing is on the wall.  And yet so sad to watch.

Americans have grown less religious over the past couple of decades, and attendance at religious services is down across the country. Of course, some parts of the country are a lot less religious than others. New survey data shows Seattle is one of those places.

A clear majority of adults in the Seattle area — around 64% — never attend church or religious services, or go less than once a year. That pencils out to about 1.98 million people out of the total 3.1 million population aged 18 and older in the metro area, which includes King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.

The data comes from the ongoing Household Pulse Survey, a product of the U.S. Census Bureau. The question on religious-service attendance is a new addition to the survey, which was conducted from Jan. 9 to Feb. 5 and had about 68,500 respondents nationwide.

The survey includes data from all 50 states plus the nation’s 15 largest metro areas, including Seattle. And among those 15, Seattle ranked the least religious, edging out San Francisco, where 63% never attend religious services, or go less than once a year. Boston was a distant third at 56%.

The southern parts of the U.S. tend to be more religious, so it’s not surprising to see three Sunbelt cities with the lowest share of nonreligious residents among large metros. In Dallas, 40.5% never attend a service or go less than once a year. Houston and Atlanta were just a little higher.

What may be surprising to folks in the Seattle area, though, is that the rest of Washington is nearly as nonreligious as Seattle. Statewide, 63% never or almost never attend religious services, just 1 percentage point lower than the number for the Seattle area.

Washington ranked as the fifth least-religious state. Maine and Vermont were at the top, both at around 69%, followed by Oregon (65%) and New Hampshire (64%). Mississippi had the lowest share of nonreligious people, with only 30% never or almost never attending services.

Wharton Business Prof Says Financial Turmoil Coming

We know it’s coming…we just don’t know when.  We have said numerous times that it seems like the staying hand of the Lord is the only thing keeping the current system up.  We hope it’s the rapture that is the final trigger that sends the current system into collapse.  Even so, come Lord Jesus!

 America's $34 trillion debt will disrupt the global economy as early as next year if the next president pursues expensive policies, a finance expert has warned. 

Wharton Business School Professor Joao Gomes has said the public debt mountain marks a 'moment in history' - and it could 'derail the next administration'.

'Toward the latter part of the decade we will have to deal with this,' he told Fortune. 'It could derail the next administration, frankly. 

'If they come up with plans for large tax cuts or another big fiscal stimulus, the markets could rebel, interest rates could just spike right there and we would have a crisis in 2025. 

'It could very well happen. I'm very confident by the end of the decade one way or another, we will be there.'

Experts are currently predicting that the eye-watering debt-to-GDP ratio will reach 190 percent by 2050 if it remains on its current trajectory. 

The last two administrations - run by Biden and Trump - oversaw the largest deficit accumulations since Franklin D Roosevelt during the Great Depression in the 1930s, according to Bank of America's Research Flow Show team in February. 

This was partly due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on America's economy and worldwide. 

But Gomes warned he doesn't think it will be considered a big issue by either the Republican or Democrat parties.

'It's a really obvious moment in history for us to say: "OK, what are our choices, what can we feasibly do, who has the better plan?"' he told Fortune. 

'I suspect neither party is interested in that and it might all be pushed under the rug.' 

Gomes is the Senior Vice Dean for Research, Centers and Academic Initiatives at Wharton Business School, part of the University of Pennsylvania. 

US national debt reached a record high of $34 trillion at the end of 2023. Data published by the Treasury Department showed that outstanding federal borrowing soared to eye-watering figure on December 29. 

The staggering figure, which is a major point of contention between Republicans and Democrats, is equal to $101,233 in federal debt for every person in America, according to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. 

The ballooning deficit means the US government spends more than $1.8 billion a day on interest payments alone, the bipartisan group found, which it said threatens America's economic future.

Experts warn that a higher debt load could put upward pressure on inflation, keeping interest rates higher and pushing up the cost of household borrowing. It could also impact major programs including Social Security and Medicare.
