Witch of Endor Kills the Fat Calf

 As you are reading the Bible do you ever run across verses where you just scratch your head and ask yourself, “what did this look like?”

In the story of Saul and the witch of Endor, Saul asks that she bring up Samuel from the dead.  At the end of the story she asks Saul and the two men with him if they want something to eat because Saul was weak and just got news he would die tomorrow.  They agree to eat something and then we get this verse.  She didn’t go to the fridge and pull out sandwich meat.  Nope!  She went and killed a calf, skinned it, bled it, cut off some meat and then while the meat was roasting she made some bread from scratch.  How long do you suppose that took?  Did the men just sit there for hours in the night while they watched this woman kill, butcher and bake for them?  The verse take 3 seconds to read but hours to accomplish.  When Jesus comes it will be really interesting to go back and watch the video tape of these amazing stories from history.  Let me know if you have any insight on this.

CBDC is Funny Money That Will Destroy What is Left of Our Private Financial System

 Of course we all know what the Bible has said is coming.  We know that the entire world will one day have a financial system that will be linked to the government and will require some type of digital log in to access it.  We also know that followers of Christ will be gone before the Antichrist mandates everyone use HIS MARK to access the system.  So when we see articles like this coming from secular news headlines WE SHOULD KNOW that the day of Christ returning for us has to be getting very close.

[E]ven when you have followed every law to the letter and paid every fee to the cent, there is still no guarantee that government agents will not later invoke eminent domain laws to swipe what you own because they believe they can use your private property more fruitfully for the "public good" – and, since Kelo v. New London, even for someone else's private good. So much for private ownership.

Competition, in theory, forces markets to naturally discard bad and expensive products, while keeping the prices of the best products low.... In practice, however, mature students of capitalism understand that entrepreneurs are never in search of markets for competition but rather conditions for maintaining monopoly.

The end result is that capitalists are always in pursuit of ways in which they may take advantage of laws and regulations, specialized knowledge, government contracts, or other exclusionary mechanisms to restrict potential competitors from ever entering the market.

The usefulness of money over traditional bartering for goods and services comes from its three chief functions providing (1) a unit of account, (2) a store of value, and (3) a medium of exchange.

[O]ver the last century and a half, the important steps have all been the same: First, some form of paper money is introduced and backed by the government's promise to pay the holder of each note a fixed sum in gold or silver. Next, the introduction of a private central bank comes into existence holding a de facto monopoly power to print paper money according to its best judgment for maintaining a healthy national economy. Finally, the gold or silver backing of those paper money currencies is revoked.

[G]overnments... spend money like drunken sailors precisely because central banks right across the street will buy up their debt and facilitate the printing of more money. How could politicians object to an arrangement that allows them to spend recklessly without any normal free market consequences?

Now with the central banks printing money and reckless government spending pushing Western economic systems to the brink, a new kind of financial hocus-pocus has been proposed: central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

If governments and central banks control the creation, distribution, and exchange of virtual money, whatever remains of free markets will disappear. If governments and central banks monitor every transaction between consumers and producers, then all industries will be subjugated to the centralized command of the State. If governments and central banks assert the legal power to determine who may store value, how much value may be personally stored, and how long that value will be permitted to last, then whatever remains of private property will cease to exist. If governments and central banks maintain a digital monopoly over the only legalized forms of money, then they may redistribute wealth or penalize personal behavior without regard for individual rights or limits to their control.

No doubt propaganda campaigns will cloak this oppressive monitoring in the West's own "politically correct" language of fighting "hate" or "racism" or "climate change" or the next COVID-like scare, but the West's system of control over its citizens will be no different from the Chinese communist version: Individuals will have their digital wealth confiscated or replenished according to whether their behavior conforms to the strictures of the State.

[A]n overhaul of the financial system and a transition to mandated CBDCs threaten what remains of Westerners' personal liberties.

[T]hose who value liberty know that personal ownership and the unfettered exchange of goods, services, and ideas remain the bedrock of those free nations that refuse to be enslaved.

Let me copy the sentence above just so we know that everyone saw it;

We all know that with mass shootings happening almost daily, the folks in charge will attempt to limit the purchase of guns and ammo.  What that will mean in the real world is that they could say, "purchase not approved as WE SEE NO NEED for this person to be buying 500 rounds of .223 ammo when we see they just purchased 500 rounds in April of 2022."  Most folks who don't shoot guns have no idea that you can go to a prairie dog town in Wyoming and shoot up 500 rounds in a single day.  The folks in D.C. don't know the difference between a shotgun and a rifle.  They just believe that guns are bad and ARE THE CAUSE of mass shootings.  They have no idea the amount of freedoms that this new system will devastate...until it will be too late for everyone.

They could one day limit your gasoline purchases since you are deemed to be causing too much global warming.  They could limit your airplane ticket purchases for the same reason.  They could freeze your accounts because of a post you made on social media saying that transgender women are simply men dressed up in women's clothing.

When this passes, and it will, our lives will be changed in ways we can't imagine today.

Baltimore Declares Curfew After Hell Breaks Loose

Another Democrat city is failing as lawlessness and violence overwhelm it.  Defund the police is clearly not going to work when fatherlessness and godlessness start to infect the majority of the population.

All hell broke out on Sunday night in Baltimore City's Inner Harbor district when gunshots were heard, causing hundreds of spring break youngsters to scatter through the streets. The mayhem, captured on video, resembled an apocalyptic scene. As a result, Mayor Brandon Scott has proposed a citywide curfew for minors during the upcoming summer months.

 "Either they [the kids] don't care about consequences or don't believe the consequences, and they have no respect for human life or the sanctity of life or authority to pull off that brazen cowardly act right there in the presence of police officers," said Harrison.

Mayor Scott said youth curfews would be implemented for the summer period. 

"I want everyone to hear me and hear me very clearly. We are going back to the old days. We will be enforcing the use of youth curfew in Baltimore as we move into the later Spring and Summer months," the mayor said. 

None of this should come as a surprise... 

Over fifty years of Democratic leadership has steered this struggling city into a hellhole of murders, broken families, collapsing education system, and an ever-worsening opioid crisis.

The World is Changing Before Our Eyes

 You have maybe seen that Saudi Arabia has a comedy show that makes fun of Biden and Kamala as buffoons.  You maybe remember when Biden ran out of Afghanistan and left tanks, trunks and weapons worth billions to our enemies.  You probably realize that nations watch how America will use the threats of bank account freezing as a huge club if a country doesn't do as the USA says.  Maybe you saw America recently bullying Uganda because they made their own decisions on protecting the family and denying LGBTQ any normal space in society.

All these things add up to a time when nations look at America and say, "I think that ship has sailed.  They are spending all their time and treasure on LGBTQ matters and fighting over what people group is the most victimized.  Plus they don't even know what a woman is anymore!  They've gone insane!"

The world is changing before our eyes…

Quietly, informed opinion is beginning to accept that America has lost its global influence. Even Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico are openly planning for a future where their international trade will turn away from North America and Western Europe to an Asia firmly bound into the rules of China and Russia — rules that insist on evolving payments away from the dollar to their own currencies or into trade settlement currencies being planned.

Whichever way it evolves, the combined membership of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS, and/or BRICS+ accepts a commitment to replace the dollar in pricing of commodities and raw materials and for settlement of cross-border trade. And the fact that nations in the Americas, the whole of Africa, the Middle East, and even Indonesia in South-east Asia are confident enough to jump ship from America and her dollar says it all. America is left looking like a Don Quixote, and Europe its Sancho Panza. It is the potential of 3.8 billion Asian people rapidly industrialising, benefiting a further 1—1 ½ billion or so in Africa and Latin America, against 1.3 billion in North America, Western Europe, and Japan refusing to take part.

Given that very recently the US began ramping up its belligerent rhetoric over China and Taiwan in the east in addition to Russia and Ukraine through NATO, perhaps we should welcome the first signs of this loss of hegemony and the green shoots of peace that may follow. For that is what it could be — an America recognising that her aggression is now untenable and that the battle for global control must be conceded. But that raises a vital question about the dollar’s future.

It is likely that the onset of banking problems in the western financial system becoming plainly evident is playing a large part in the battle of the hegemons — it is certainly consistent with the sudden emergence of multiple countries suddenly appearing eager to abandon the dollar, and therefore the entire western alliance’s currency system. The scene for this abandonment was set by Vladimir Putin at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum in June last year, when 81 official delegations attended to hear Putin alert them to the dangers of holding dollars and euros in their reserves. Thus informed, they now appear to be mobilising.

The flaw in Western monetary thinking

Mainstream financial and economic commentary finds it inconceivable that the dollar will be replaced by anything else as the global reserve currency, the pricing medium for commodities, and the common factor in all foreign exchange transactions. This was the highly respected George Magnus’s take on it, extracted from an article he published in the Daily Telegraph last week:

“The tyranny of balance of payments accounting means that, if China and other nations run surpluses due to relatively weak domestic demand, others like the US and UK must run external deficits and accumulate debt. Cause and effect need to be the right way round.

“So the idea that the yuan can become a truly internationalised currency, perhaps a rival to the US dollar, is a narrative that lacks substance. 

“It could only happen if China allows the rest of the world to accumulate large claims in yuan. 

“That means either China has to run external deficits, which, as a mercantilist state with a single-minded focus on industrial policy, it will not.

“Or it has to permit free outward movement of capital, which it will also not do partly because it does not trust its own citizens to keep money at home, and partly because the resulting outflow of capital and fall in the yuan would destabilise its $60 trillion (£49 trillion) domestic banking system in which the proliferation of bad debt is already a problem. 

“Xi’s China is, therefore, stuck between the devil of balance of payments surpluses and the deep blue sea of a closed capital account. Countries and companies may use the yuan more for the purposes of paying and issuing invoices, and even to denominate bonds sold to foreigners.

“Yet in worldwide payments, according to the SWIFT global messaging system used by banks, the yuan accounted for 2.2pc of payments last month, largely the same as two years ago.”

Magnus’s comments are consistent with Triffin’s dilemma. Triffin argued that for the dollar to be the world’s common currency, the US needed to ensure that there is a supply of dollars available for other nations in their reserves. The way to achieve this was for America to run trade deficits to ensure the supply is available. But continual trade deficits are ultimately destructive economic policies. Hence the dilemma: the creation of a reserve currency’s supply is likely to end in an economic crisis for its producer.

Robert Triffin described this problem in evidence to the US Congress in 1960. He was proved right when the London gold pool failed in 1968, when President Nixon abandoned the Bretton Woods Agreement in 1971, and presumably is about to be proved right again as the dollar-based banking system enters a new crisis. But despite the obvious truths in Triffin’s dilemma being proved by events, there is a flaw in it, and that is to not differentiate between currency, which is what Triffin assumed is used for trade settlement, and commercial bank credit which is actually used.

When America does fall off the top of the mountain, it will be shocking and unimaginable to the average American who lives in LaLa land and has zero understanding of why the government can no longer give them free housing, free health insurance, free income and free education.  When America loses the use of it's UNLIMITED CREDIT CARD and can no longer charge anything that the politicians dream up...the crash will be heard around the world.

Iran Planning Multi-Front Attack on Israel

 We know that Iran is a named player in the Ezekiel 38 coalition.  We know that Israel is very divided in their politics, just like America and about every other nation these days.  We know that God himself is going to one day put hooks in the jaw of the coalition leader and draw him out to attack Israel.  So any article with Iran and Israel in the headline is something we have been watching for all the years we’ve been blogging.  Certainly this attack by Iran, if it happens, would be a major shakeup...and we aren’t sure how many more shakeups the world can handle right now.  But the more it shakes the closer we are to return of the King.

On Sunday, Dr. Kedar published an op-ed on the Hebrew-language Makor Rishon describing a shocking security situation developing in the region that represents a dire threat to Israel. Dr. Kedar began with a disclaimer:

“A note to my readers,” he wrote. “I hesitated quite a bit, debating whether to publish the things that appear below because of the panic they might cause in Israel. However, in the Middle East environment, particularly in Iraq, these things are known and serve as a topic of open discussion among quite a few, so it is impossible for the public in Israel not to be aware of them as well. Especially because these things concern Israel; its security and existence, much more than they concern the citizens of Iraq. These things come up occasionally in the Israeli media, so I decided to bring them up here.”

“A source I have known for years – an expatriate from the Middle East, a supporter of Israel, who lives in Europe and is in continuous contact with people in Iran and Iraq – conveyed to me his assessment that Iran is planning to launch a combined attack on Israel in the foreseeable future that will include all the forces at its disposal in the Arab countries.”

Dr. Kedar then detailed what these available Iranianian assets were in the region:

“In Lebanon, Hezbollah and Hamas have many thousands of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), some of them with precision guidance systems,” Dr. Kedar wrote. “In Syria – 17 combat units (“militias”) stand armed and ready: Liwa Fatemiyoun, the Zainebiyoun Brigade, the Harakat al-Nujaba, Hezbollah, the Abu Al-Fachal Brigade, Atsa’ab Ahl Al Haq, the Khorsani Brigade, and others. Iran transferred a very large number of missiles and UAVs to Syria and these are ready to be launched.”

Dr. Kedar’s prediction seems to be already materializing. On Thursday afternoon, 34 rockets were fired at northern Israel from Lebanon. Lantern in the evening several mortar shells impacted near the northern town of Metula. The IDF blamed Hamas forces in Lebanon for the attack but Israeli official sources said it would not have been carried out without Hezbollah’s consent. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is currently in Lebanon.

USA Running Out of Time as China Attempts to Dominate Military and Emerging Technology

 Do you remember the examples in the Bible when God would use a godless nation to overthrow Israel because of their disobedience and rebellion?  The first one that comes to mind is the Babylonians who hauled Judah away from Jerusalem and the surrounding territories.  God will use whomever or whatever He wants to accomplish His purposes.

I think, here in America, it is very obvious that we have lost our fear and respect of the Lord.  In fact I believe it would be accurate to say that the vast majority don't even recognize that the God of the Bible exists.

So could it be possible that God could use a godless nation to punish America for it's wickedness, murder,(abortion) magic arts (drug use), divination (fortune tellers) drunkenness, and extreme sexual perversion?

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) openly says it wants to establish dominance in emerging critical technologies as part of its strategy to supplant the United States as the world's dominant power, establish a new world order and replace the US-led international system established after WWII.

The US has only a little time left in this race. Reports indicate that deep cuts to the military made by several administrations have severely impaired its ability to catch up. Remaining talent and resources will possibly be reallocated in a new administration, if it is not too late by then. China has been supercharging its military for years while the U.S. has sat back, watched, and argued about unrelated social issues.

China also hopes to exploit the military potential of new technologies. Some, such as hypersonic advances, have the potential for developing sophisticated new weapons systems. Others, such as the science of "Big Data," can enhance military targeting while rapidly collecting, analyzing and storing immense amounts of information.

Robotics, another modern technology, has already been deployed by the US military against improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and suicide bombers in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The anti-armor Javelin missile, originally a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, will eventually be fired from a 7-ton robot as it surveys targets beyond the forward edge of the battle area. 

The Javelin has proven successful in Ukraine as a check against Russia's advantage in armored weapon systems, particularly when Russian tanks travel in columns. In future wars, robots could guide unmanned jets as well as armored vehicles.

A "directed energy weapon" (DEW) can direct the flow of atomic particles. New advances in DEW technology include high-powered microwave weaponry and chemical laser systems.

Another promising military application is the science of quantum technology (physics/chemistry). A quantum, the smallest measurable unit of light (a photon) or electricity (an electron), can become the medium of an encrypted intelligence messaging sent, say, from a command headquarters to a military front.

Quantum communications, when encrypted (quantum encryption), are impervious to decryption. China dispatched the first quantum message , from Vienna Austria to Beijing, via satellite in 2017.

Chinese Communist Party leaders have maintained a keen interest in securing for China a lead in quantum disciplines. Chinese quantum expert Jian Wei-pan -- in large part responsible for the launch of the first quantum satellite in the summer of 2016 -- briefed CCP Politburo Members on the military advantages, should China secure a solid lead in this technology.

China is in an additional race with the US in the field of "advanced data analytics": the ability to sift through enormous amounts of information at great speeds, using artificial intelligence both to identify trends and predict events. This capability reportedly can improve the training of pilots, commercial or military.

China appears determined to master "big data analytics" by applying advanced computers to assist the People's Liberation Army in planning. Chinese President Xi Jinping, at the 19th Party Congress in 2017, personally endorsed the integration of "big data" into the Chinese economy. The CCP stated at the time:

"By 2030, our country will reach a world leading level in artificial intelligence theory, technology and application and become a principal world center for artificial intelligence innovation."

Intelligence collection tracking systems have been improved. For instance, new drone technology easily exposed a training exercise that featured U.S. Special Forces personnel attempting to infiltrate a hypothetical enemy area of operations.

The "Swarming Drone Pack" -- whereby one drone can transmit data simultaneously to the entire swarm -- can, in addition, both help or complicate US/NATO Special Forces operators' missions.

Advances in quantum sensing enable discernment of nuclear ordinance or radioactive materials embedded below the earth's surface -- such as in monitoring a nation's non-declared atomic storage, or attempts by adversaries to shield nuclear weapons programs.

The Free World's "tech war" against the CCP and the race to dominate artificial intelligence is also a contest in which the victor will dominate the global dissemination of information. The winner will establish future international rules and standards, especially for digital technologies. Xi threw down the gauntlet in a 2020 speech in which he announced the plan for establishment of a "Digital Silk Road" – asserting that control of information as a critical part of total control over a "new world order."

China has so far aggressively been leading in the extraction of rare earth materials necessary for vital weapons systems. China dominates the extraction of neodymium necessary for Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and samarium needed for nuclear reactors.

Communist China is currently preparing its people for war. America is not. The American people, who take their magical lives -- when compared to so many people in the world -- for granted, may be in for a tormenting shock in the very near future.

It's so true!  While China is prepping it's people for war, America is at war with itself over whether or not a man can become a woman simply by announcing it.  Or whether or not we can all choose our own pronouns and adjectives to describe ourselves and DEMAND that everyone use those regardless of what their eyes and ears might tell them.

We pray the Jesus is coming soon to take us to the place He has been preparing for us.  We pray that America will might stay intact until that day comes...because if America collapses BEFORE the rapture, the world will start to look like the Great Tribulation very fast.
