Sea of Galilee Underwater Monument

Are you guys paying attention to this recent headline?  It appears they have found some massive underwater altar or monument UNDER WATER in the big lake in Israel called the Sea of Galilee.

TIBERIAS, Israel — The massive circular structure appears to be an archaeologists dream: a recently discovered antiquity that could reveal secrets of ancient life in the Middle East and is just waiting to be excavated.

It’s thousands of years old — a conical, man made behemoth weighing hundreds of tons, practically begging to be explored.

The problem is — it’s at the bottom of the biblical Sea of Galilee. For now, at least, Israeli researchers are left stranded on dry land, wondering what finds lurk below.

The monumental structure, made of boulders and stones with a diameter of 70 meters (230 feet), emerged from a routine sonar scan in 2003. Now archaeologists are trying to raise money to allow them access to the submerged stones.

Shift gears to Islamic eschatology…

Of note: Lake Tiberias is the Sea of Galilee.

Speculation: Could the Ark of the Covenant be hidden beneath the water of the Sea of Galilee? If found this could be part of Strong Delusion.

Wow!!!  You can add this to the long list of amazing things that are happening all around us!  What the heck are these massive boulders at the bottom of the lake?  Are they being re-discovered exactly at the right time to play into some sort of massive delusion that the Bible says is coming??

Boy Scouts to Admit Openly Gay Boys

So let me get this straight....if I am a teenage boy who has homosexual lusts and may even be engaging in homosexual activity...can I join other boys for camping trips, tenting, showering, swimming...and maybe even trying to coerce other boys in the tent to engage in gay activity?

Yep!  As of today that will be totally acceptable!!

GRAPEVINE, Tex. — The Boy Scouts of America on Thursday ended its longstanding policy of forbidding openly gay youths to participate in its activities, a step its chief executive called “compassionate, caring and kind.”

The decision, which came after years of resistance and wrenching internal debate, was widely seen as a milestone for the Boy Scouts, a symbol of traditional America. More than 1,400 volunteer leaders from across the country voted, with more than 60 percent approving a measure that said no youth may be denied membership “on the basis of sexual orientation or preference alone.”

The top national leaders of the Boy Scouts, who pledge fealty to God and country, had urged the change in the face of vehement opposition from conservative parents and volunteers, some of whom said they would quit the organization. But the vote put the Scouts more in line with the swift rise in public acceptance of homosexuality, especially among younger parents who are essential to the future of an institution that has been losing members for decades.

The Scouts did not consider the even more divisive question of whether to allow openly gay adults and leaders. This drew criticism from advocates for gay rights, who called the decision a breakthrough but vowed to continue pressing the Scouts to allow gay members of all ages.

So...in fairness...if I am a heterosexual teenage boy who is very interested in girls and maybe even engaging in hetero sex....shouldn't I be able to join the Girl Scouts and join them in the tent, swimming, showering, and everthing else...and maybe even coerce them to engage in some good old fashioned boy on girl sex?

It's the same thing....but of course if anyone suggests that, we would be called "ridiculous homophobes".

Pope Preaches a False Gospel

It would appear that the Great Apostasy spoken of to take place in the very last days....is upon us.

Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists.
 
During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace.

Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Francis explained how upset Jesus' disciples were that someone outside their group was doing good, according to a report from Vatican Radio.

"The Lord created us in His image and likeness, and we are the image of the Lord, and He does good and all of us have this commandment at heart: do good and do not do evil. All of us. ‘But, Father, this is not Catholic! He cannot do good.’ Yes, he can... "The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone!".. We must meet one another doing good. ‘But I don’t believe, Father, I am an atheist!’ But do good: we will meet one another there.”

Got it!  So good works is all we need...even if we are atheists who don't believe in God or the work that his Son did on the cross.

So Mr. Pope?...question from the back row please....If an Arab kills a Jew in the name of Allah and his community is so happy with his "good works" that they throw a party for him and name a grade school in Gaza after him....does that qualify as "good"?  Or is good only what you say is good?

Man Hacked to Death in Broad Daylight

Yesterday, right in the middle of London, during broad daylight, two men took some knives and meat cleavers and hacked a man to death right on the street in view of everyone.

When a camera showed up to cover the event, the murdered stood there and reported that "an eye for an eye" was what they were witnessing.

The initial reports weren't really sure who these murderers were....but based on just the information I gave you above.....who do you think the men were?

A.  Angry Lutherans mad about choir practice
B.  Angry Jews eager to show who is boss
C.  Angry Tibetan Monks making a statement
D.  Angy Muslims eager to take over the city for Allah

If you answered D....you were correct!!

The British government's emergency committee met Thursday after two Muslim terrorists wielding a machete and a cleaver hacked a man believed to be a soldier to death on a busy London street Wednesday while yelling "Allahu Akbar," in an attack that was caught on video and left the nation shocked and horrified.

Prime Minister David Cameron says there are strong indications it was an act of terrorism, and his top advisers will be examining the potential security implications of the attack, which took place near a London military barracks.

The victim, who some reports said may have been a soldier, was killed at the scene, and the attackers waited at the scene until police arrived and shot both. One attacker, his hands soaked in blood and still holding a machete, delivered an angry jihadist screed as stunned passersby watched, the dead man lying on the street, in the southeast London neighborhood of Woolwich.

"We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you. The only reason we have done this is because Muslims are dying every day," he said in a video clip that was shown on the ITV website. "This British soldier is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Please remember friends....this is an isolated incident.  Most Muslims are peace loving and would never harm a fly.  Islam is a wonderful religion that brings joy, happiness and contentment to its 1 billion followers.  It could have just as easily been a Jesus-terrorist, a Jewish terrorist or a Tibetan terrorist....so go back to sleep!

Riots in Sweden

There was a tiny blurb in the Wall Street Journal yesterday about rioting "youths" in Sweden.  It didn't say what kind of youths....so I went to another article to find out more.

Hundreds youths hurling rocks, burning cars and smashing windows for the second day in a row in Stockholm say they are protesting against police brutality and inequality. In Sweden, critics of the multiculturalism policies lash out at immigration laws.

Seven policemen were injured, at least ten cars and countless containers set on fire, and dozens of windows smashed in several heavily immigrant-populated neighborhoods of the Swedish capital on Tuesday.

The police said some 300 people are now taking part in riots, which started in protest against the shooting of a man allegedly armed with a knife in the Stockholm district of Husby. The protesters also cited beatings and ‘discriminative’ derogatory remarks of the officers.

The protester are mainly young, the police said. Of the seven rioters arrested on Tuesday only four were detained, two of them later released, and one turned out to be underage.
All of the men arrested on suspicion of violent rioting and assaulting a public official were aged between 15 and 19, the police said.

“We have groups of young men who think that that they can and should change society with violence. Let’s be clear: This is not okay. We cannot be ruled by violence,” Reinfeldt said as cited by the Local.

So I still can't find out EXACTLY who the youths are...but here is a hint....the #1 name for babies born in Malmo, Sweden last year was "Muhammad".

So I'm willing to bet you $1 plus a lunch at Applebees that the "youths" who are burning, assaulting and destroying things are actually MUSLIM YOUTHS.

Big parts of Europe have allowed Muslims to come into their countries to work their lower wage jobs...just like USA has allowed Latinos to come in to work our lower wage jobs.  What Europe is going to find out is that Muslims don't want to become Swedish or French....they want Sweden and France to become Muslim and ruled by Sharia law.

Four Fireballs at 4:00AM

This is kind of interesting.  Jesus said there would be strange signs in the sky as we all watch for His return.

In the last 24 hours the AMS has received confirmed reports about 4 unique fireball events all occurring near 4:00 AM UTC time. The most recent event occurred in Arkansas and Missouri on May 19th near 3:37 UTC. At the same time 3:37 UTC 4 witnesses reported a fireball in Arizona. The distance between these two locations would inhibit witnesses from observing the same fireball from both locations. On May 18th two large fireball meteors were also spotted within an hour of each other, one over the central east coast and another in Colorado. Below is a table of the events in question.

How North Korea Could Cripple the U.S.

This article was in today's Wall Street Journal;

North Korea needs only one ICBM capable of delivering a single nuclear warhead in order to pose an existential threat to the U.S. The Congressional Electromagnetic Pulse Commission, the Congressional Strategic Posture Commission and several other U.S. government studies have established that detonating a nuclear weapon high above any part of the U.S. mainland would generate a catastrophic electromagnetic pulse.

Holy black out!!  What would happen to our country if it went without electricity for months or years?  Riots, crime, no water, no food, no one getting to jobs, no access to bank accounts or financial markets....the entire country would look like an Armageddon battlefield within a week.

The article goes on to say that NK has shown the ability to launch missiles and satellites over the South Pole...meaning that any missile they launch at us could come from the south...and we have NO MISSILE DEFENSE to defend ourselves from a southern attack.

I can tell you one thing for sure....if this did happen, Americans would forget about American Idol, the NFL, the NHL, the NBA, The Voice, new stadiums, Cancun vacations, road trips to the Black Hills, new snowmobiles, bigger houses, new pick up trucks and basically 99.9% of the things that Americans currently believe to be "important".

I can tell you another thing for sure...if this did happen, Americans would start calling out to God to help them or even to save them.

We humans don't want or believe we need God when the blessings are sitting in every Walmart all over the country...so maybe the BEST THING for our ETERNAL HEALTH would be for NK to wipe out America and send us back into the stone age?  Maybe then we would seek the Lord before the trumpet blows?  Maybe then millions of Americans will realize they need a Savior and will accept Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom?

If we knew this would happen....shouldn't we, as a church, be praying for hardship to come to America so that people will wake up and accept Christ before their chance is eternally lost?

Friends, do you believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way that you will be in eternity with the Father?  Do you believe it so much that you obey your Master, Jesus, and go about your life making disciples in His name?

Today, we face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation's armed forces. Oh my, my, my, how "Papa's got a brand new bag."

What's Papa's new tactic? You're gonna just love this! These days, when ANYone attempts to bravely stand up against virulent religious oppression, these monstrosities cry out alligator tears in overflowing torrents and scream that it is, in fact, THEY who are the dispossessed, bereft and oppressed. C'mon, really, you pitiable unconstitutional carpetbaggers? It would be like the utter folly of 1960's-era southern bigots howling like stuck pigs in protest that Rosa Parks' civil rights activism is "abusing" them by destroying and disenfranchising their rights to sit in the front seat of buses in Montgomery, Alabama. Please, I beseech you! Let us call these ignoble actions what they are: the senseless and cowardly squallings of human monsters.

Of course you all realize that the IRS is now under investigation for harassing the very organizations that this liberal author is lambasting....so yes, it can be a bit disconcerting to hear the hatred coming at us from liberals...especially when those liberals seem to have control of our national and state governments.

But please take courage.  Jesus told us that the world WILL HATE US because it hated Him first.

As our nation continues to slide into the abyss of moral relativism and the belief that EVERYTHING should be legal between consenting adults....the people who believe in Jesus will be labeled as "hate groups"....exactly as this article is already doing.

So what will happen when the first gay men get married in Minnesota come August 1?  What happens when Tom and Tim move to our town and come into our church holding hands and announcing that they are a newly wed couple who are new to town and are out "shopping" for a new church home?  What happens if we tell them they can't teach Sunday School, they can't be in leadership and they can't be members of our church unless they repent of their sin?

Might our church lose it's tax exempt status if the government rules that our church violates, "anti-hate speech" guidelines for tax-exempt status?

Yep.  You can certainly see how that will be coming....so don't be surprised.  Expect this to come while we wait EXPECTANTLY for the return of Jesus.
