15 Dead in Islamic Terrorist Attack in New Orleans

There were 15 people in Louisiana that woke up on New Year’s Eve day and said to their various friends and families, “Let’s go to Bourbon Street tonight and ring in the New Year”.  Little could they have imagined they’d be dead, and their eternal fates sealed, 12 hours later at the hands of an Islamic terrorist.

America has become pretty dull in the area of common sense.  Do you think we’d allow members of the Nazi religion into America?  I’m questing immigration would check their backgrounds and references and when they find out they are Nazis from some other nation looking to immigrate to America, someone would say no.

So why do you suppose America has allowed so many Muslims into America?  Why block one religion and not another that has proven itself to be equally violent?

Islam’s master plan, laid out by Satan himself, is to take over the entire world for Allah.  He wants every knee to bow to him and NOT Jesus.  The simple plan is to exploit Western nation’s freedoms. “We need to come to America since conditions are so bad in Somalia!”  And all the liberals say, “welcome!  And bring your religion of peace and all your kids and families too!”  Once implanted here they have no plans to assimilate.  On the contrary, they move into enclaves of their own and begin to take over block by block.  The women have 4 kids each.  Do the simple math of what happens in 20 years time to a region where one group has 4 kids and everyone else is having 1-2 kids.  I pray that Trump and his men can figure out how to turn the clock back on the common sense meter for America.

Louisiana’s top lawyer is vowing an eye-for-an-eye for those believed to be involved in the Bourbon Street terror attack.

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill warns, “In Louisiana, we have the death penalty, and we will carry it out!” she writes in a post on X.

The post comes after a horrifying massacre where a suspect drove a pickup truck into a crowd of New Year’s revelers on Bourbon Street, killing 15 people. The driver, 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Texas and an Army veteran, is dead following a shootout with officers.

The FBI is investigating the attack as an act of terrorism.

Murrill tells Fox News there is evidence that multiple individuals are involved but declines to share further details.

Law enforcement remains stationed around the French Quarter and the Superdome, where the College Football Playoff quarterfinal, the Sugar Bowl, was postponed until today.

“Biggest Change EVER Seen”

Extreme happenings and articles/news reports using the words “ever” and “never” have been happening with increasing frequency the past decade.  Kind of like birth pangs increase in frequency and intensity.  Today we read about the North Pole.

Researchers recently published the latest edition of the Earth’s magnetic field map showing that the magnetic North Pole has shifted from northern Canada toward Siberia over the past five years, accelerating as it went. While the magnetic north pole is constantly in motion, Scientists noted that for the first time in recorded history, the pole has changed its speed, slowing dramatically in an inexplicable manner since it was last recorded five years ago from 50 kilometers per year to 35 kilometers per year.

 “The current behavior of magnetic north is something that we have never observed before,” says Dr. William Brown, a geomagnetic field modeler at the British Geological Survey, in a media release. “Magnetic north has been moving slowly around Canada since the 1500s but, in the past 20 years, it accelerated towards Siberia, increasing in speed every year until about five years ago, when it suddenly decelerated from 50 to 35 km per year, which is the biggest deceleration in speed we’ve ever seen.”

China Wants Taiwan

The day China invades Taiwan the USA will be at war with China.  How much blood and treasure would we be willing and able to expend?

According to a report by a national security expert, the People’s Republic of China has ordered the largest military build-up of any nation in the world since Germany in the 1930s, raising concerns about the military threat presented by China.

No one can stop China’s “reunification” with Taiwan, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in his New Year’s speech on Tuesday, laying down a clear warning to what Beijing regards as pro-independence forces within and outside of the island of 23 million people.

In the past year, Beijing has stepped up military pressure near Taiwan, sending warships and planes almost daily into the waters and air space around the island in what Taiwanese officials view as a creeping effort to “normalise” China’s military presence.

China regards democratically-governed Taiwan as its own territory. But Taiwan’s government rejects Beijing’s claims and says only its people can decide their future and Beijing ought to respect the choice of the Taiwanese people.

“The people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family. No one can sever our family bonds, and no one can stop the historical trend of national reunification,” Xi said in a speech televised on China’s state broadcaster CCTV.

In his New Year’s speech last year, Xi said China’s “reunification” with Taiwan is inevitable, and that people on both sides “should be bound by a common sense of purpose and share in the glory of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”

Israeli Government About to Fall?

It seems like so many nations are split and ready for a serious upheaval.  One has to wonder if this is one more sign that the very last days are upon us.  With enemies surrounding Israel and missiles flying in from all directions one would think Israel would be united in their desire to survive!  But that’s not the case.

 Opposition Leader Yair Lapid slams National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir as a “TikTok clown” and calls for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his “extremist and deranged government” to apologize to the people of Israel for their actions.

Addressing reporters ahead of his Yesh Atid party’s weekly faction meeting in the Knesset, Lapid says that while his prediction last year that the government would fall in 2024 did not come true, “everyone who was in the Knesset yesterday understood that it will not take long.”

“We saw what happened here yesterday. A pale and weak prime minister, and Ben Gvir was making fun of him in front of the nation. I won’t be tempted to give another forecast with a timetable, but I was only wrong about the date, and I have no intention of apologizing.”

Lapid says that the coalition is only holding itself together because its members know that if elections were held today most of them would not be voted back into the Knesset.

“This government is a sick, corrupt, dysfunctional body, the most extreme and failed government in the history of the country, and it has lost the public’s trust,” he says.

Netanyahu left the hospital yesterday evening, two days after undergoing prostate surgery, in order to vote on a critical budget-related bill after Ben Gvir announced that he would oppose the legislation. The bill passed by one vote.

Jimmy Carter Was No Friend of Israel

Yep!  It’s kind of tradition to say nice things about the dead and maybe try and ignore the nasty things they did.  Hooray!  Jimmy Carter taught Sunday school for years!  Hooray!  Jimmy Carter built houses for poor people!  Booo!   Jimmy Carter wrote a book about the non-existent “Palestinian people” and accused Israel of apartheid!  Booo!  Carter had meeting with Hamas!  A demonic hoard of Muslim terrorists who dream of doing Satan’s work.

But let’s not mince words: for anyone who cares about Israel and the future of the Jewish people, Jimmy Carter’s legacy is not worthy of praise. And yet, some Jewish organizations, most notably the American Jewish Committee (AJC), cannot resist their compulsion to whitewash Carter’s record.

In their official statement on Carter’s passing, the AJC declared, “Jimmy Carter’s decades-long commitment to advancing peace earned him a place on the world stage as a respected statesman and humanitarian. We will always be grateful for his role in facilitating the 1979 Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty.” That’s it? No mention of his anti-Israel rhetoric, his toxic “apartheid” slander, or his cozying up to Hamas leaders who have Jewish blood on their hands? The AJC’s statement is not just tone-deaf; it’s a betrayal.

Carter’s record on Israel is infamous. His 2006 book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, accused Israel of imposing apartheid on Palestinians—a libel that delegitimizes the Jewish state and fuels the very antisemitism that Jewish organizations claim to oppose. Carter’s meetings with Hamas, an organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews worldwide, were not about “peace.” They were about legitimizing terror.

Jewish organizations like the AJC should have been leading the charge to call Carter out. Instead, they fell over themselves to avoid offending the memory of a man who spent decades undermining Israel’s existence. The AJC’s spinelessness is not unique; it exemplifies the broader failure of establishment Jewish organizations to stand up for Jewish honor and Jewish pride.

Parents Who Believe Their Kids are Reincarnated

The article below is in the Washington Post and came across my Apple News Today.  Of course the headline caught my interest.  Little kids saying disturbing things and parents beginning to believe that they are reincarnated.  I just posted a few paragraphs so read the whole thing if you want and try and use your Bible Glasses filled with discernment to see if you can come up with another explanation and also another cure if this had happened to your child.

Note that the article points out that most of these cases happen in Indigenous families whose cultures already believe in reincarnation.  So there’s one clue!  Who and what were Indigenous people worshiping before Christianity came to this land?

Also remember that familiar spirits are running around looking for someone to deceive and they have had centuries to practice their art of deception. If this ever happens to someone you know pray over them in the name of Jesus and command that whatever spirit is harassing your 2 yr old child LEAVE…in Jesus’ name.

Over the past dozen years, Cyndi Hammons has grown adept at fielding the messages that appear in her Facebook inbox, sent by overwhelmed parents who don’t know what to do about children who seem to be remembering a past life.

“Anybody who is struggling with it, I tell them, ‘You’re going to make it through,’” she says. Mostly, she just tries to listen and offer understanding. “I don’t know that I’ve helped anybody, but I know what it feels like. I know what the fear feels like, what the judgment feels like, and it’s heavy,” she says. “And most cases aren’t solved. Ryan’s was solved. So I was very lucky.”

It didn’t feel lucky in the beginning, when Ryan was waking up sobbing at night and describing things his mother couldn’t fathom: that he remembered living in Hollywood in a big white house with a swimming pool. That he once had three sons and a younger sister. That he drove a green car, and his wife drove a black one.

“It felt like living with someone who had Alzheimer’s, mixed with grieving,” Cyndi says. But that someone was her small child, and all she wanted was for him to feel safe and happy.

Cyndi didn’t tell anyone at first, not even her husband, Ryan’s father. Kevin Hammons was the son of a Church of Christ minister, a police officer in their small town in Oklahoma, and Cyndi knew what he would think. For months, it remained a secret between mother and son. She brought home library books about Hollywood in the 1940s so Ryan could leaf through the pages. When he wanted to collect sunglasses instead of Hot Wheels, or window-shop for suit jackets, or listen to Bing Crosby, “that’s what we did,” Cyndi says.

But Ryan’s night terrors and recollections did not stop, and eventually Cyndi told Kevin what was happening. He didn’t initially accept the possibility of reincarnation, she says, but as a detective, he told her to write down everything Ryan said. Not long after, Ryan saw a man he recognized in one of his library books, a peripheral figure in a photograph of six men: “That’s me!” he told his mother.

Cyndi wrote to Tucker, and in April 2010, with the help of a production crew from the A&E series “The Unexplained,” they were able to identify the man as Marty Martyn, a movie extra and talent agent who died in 1964.

With Tucker and the television crew, Cyndi and Ryan traveled to California to meet Martyn’s daughter, Marisa Martyn Rosenblatt, who was 8 when her father died. She was skeptical — but she ultimately confirmed many of Ryan’s statements about Marty Martyn, including some she hadn’t realized were correct. She didn’t know that her father had driven a green car, or that he had a younger sister, but it turned out both claims were accurate. Marty Martyn’s death certificate cited his age as 59, but Ryan insisted he had died at 61; Tucker found census records and marriage listings that confirmed this, as did Martyn’s daughter.

When the episode of “The Unexplained” aired in 2011, it catapulted the Hammons family into a different realm, where their names were in newspaper headlines, and everyone in their town knew Ryan’s story.

“Kevin and I had professional jobs. I was a county clerk’s deputy for 14 years,” Cyndi says. “We were known in our community.” But that didn’t stop people from telling her their thoughts: Your child needs to find Jesus. You’re a bad parent. Are you doing this for money?

“People don’t really understand this unless they’ve lived it,” she says. “Everything pivoted around protecting Ryan. I didn’t care what anyone thought about me — it didn’t matter. I knew the truth, and I just knew that Ryan had to be okay.”

Ryan is a college junior now. He doesn’t remember being Marty Martyn anymore, and this isn’t a story he shares when he meets people. He still isn’t sure how to label what he experienced: “I’m open to anything,” he says, “but I cannot say with certainty that reincarnation is real.” He says he is at peace with the unknown, focused now on his future.

Here's Another Great Explanation of Daniel's 490 Year (70 x 7's) Prophecy

 Angel Gabriel came to Daniel while he was in exile in Babylon.  He told him it would take 490 years to wrap everything up FOR HIS PEOPLE, the Jews.  From the signing on the decree by Cyrus to release the Jews and return to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls and the Temple, until Messiah was cut off would be 483 years.  And to the day that's exactly when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey on Passover.  So 69 weeks of years (69 x 7) is 483 years...and then the stopwatch stopped of the Jewish prophecy.  Which means there are 7 years left AND THAT'S EXACTLY how long the 70th Week of Daniel will be!  7 years!  It will start when the Antichrist confirms a peace agreement and will end when Jesus returns at Armageddon to set up his 1000 year reign on earth!

When it comes to prophecy, perhaps none is more amazing than the one we call the 70 weeks of Daniel (Dan. 9:24–27). God gave this astounding glimpse of the future to the Jewish prophet Daniel in 538 BC, 48 years after Babylon destroyed Jerusalem and burned Solomon’s Temple to the ground.

Not only does this prophecy pinpoint the exact time the Messiah would be on Earth, but it also reaches thousands of years into the future to describe end-times events still on the horizon, including a unique time of horror and judgment known as the Great Tribulation, as well as God’s final deliverance of a redeemed Israel.

The prophecy begins, “Seventy weeks are determined for your people [Israel] and for your holy city [Jerusalem]” (v. 24). The weeks are weeks of years (Hebrew, “seventy sevens”) totaling 490 years, each being a biblical year of 360 days. This period of years is divided into three parts:

1. Seven Weeks (49 years). “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times” (v. 25).

The countdown began in 445 BC, when Persian King Artaxerxes commanded the rebuilding of Jerusalem. Both the city and walls were reconstructed (Neh. 1—13).

2. Sixty-Two Weeks (434 years). “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off [die], but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary” (Dan. 9:26). Jesus was crucified in ca. AD 33. In AD 70, the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Second Temple.

3. One Week (seven years, yet to come). “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate” (v. 27).

As with many prophecies, a time gap exists. Here the gap shows up between the 69th and 70th weeks. After the Messiah’s death and resurrection, God stopped the countdown and inserted the Church Age, the age of grace, which will end with the Rapture when He removes His church from Earth. Then the Antichrist (“the prince who is to come,” v. 26) will appear and confirm a strong, binding covenant with Israel for “one week” (the final seven years). This is the 70th week of Daniel.

Welcome to the Femosphere

I ran across this article on my Google News.  Women are so confused.  Men are so confused.  Sex is now a commodity that is owned by women and sold to men.  Marriage is no longer valued.  Children are a burden and no longer a blessing.

Lord we need you!  Please come quickly and put things back into order.

The manosphere, the misogynist internet world populated by influencers such as Andrew Tate, is widely recognised as a toxic space where young men are at risk of radicalisation. Now, say researchers, women and girls are being sucked into potentially dangerous online spaces of their own: the femosphere.

It is a term used by Dr Jilly Kay, an expert in feminist media and cultural studies at Loughborough University, in a paper published earlier this year. Kay has been researching a reactionary turn among young women, and how a backlash against mainstream feminism has created new spaces online. In the femosphere, instead of “incels” – male involuntary celibates – there are “femcels”, and instead of pickup artists there are female dating strategists and so-called “dark feminine” influencers who encourage women to find men to support them financially.

 Most corners of the femosphere explicitly describe themselves as feminist, so Kay said she was surprised to see that their values seemed conservative, and their philosophy mostly anti-gender equality.

She said: “The logic that they adhere to is that men and women are fundamentally different.”

In the femosphere, as in the manosphere, there’s an overarching belief that life is about survival of the fittest, that men will always hurt women and that will never change, so strategies are needed to conquer the opposite gender.

Kay looked at Female Dating Strategy, which started as a Reddit forum (with more than 250,000 members) and expanded into social media and a podcast. It has a six-point ideology for members to subscribe to, which includes ideas such as: men should always pursue women, women should seek financial contributions from men, and the majority of men have no value.

Mainstream feminism in recent decades has been “very consumer-oriented, all about individual empowerment, emphasising things like women being confident, successful, and women having all the things that men can have”, said Kay. In other words: “girlboss feminism”.

But since about 2018, Kay said, there has been a growing rejection of that idea.

Kay saw beliefs discussed and shared in online forums and via social media influencers that echoed the logic of the manosphere – particularly when it came to dating and relationships.

“Ideas like men are the gatekeeper of relationships and women are the gatekeepers of sex,” she said.

“So women’s currency in the sexual marketplace resides in her withholding sex from men, and you diminish your value if you have casual sex.”

Sweden Tells Folks How to Prep to Survive a War

Here in America we haven’t had to fight a war against armed invaders since our independence from the British.  Not true in Europe.  Today we read that Sweden is trying to acquire lots of cemetery space to bury lots of dead if war breaks out.  I can’t fathom that Russia, whose GDP is less than Texas, could afford to fight a war on multiple fronts but the world does appear ripe for war…and someone at the top in Sweden must be sensing it.

 Millions of Swedes are now receiving copies of a government pamphlet advising them on how to survive an armed conflict.

The move comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a revised nuclear doctrine declaring a conventional attack on Russia by any nation supported by a nuclear power will be considered a joint attack on his country.

The BBC reports In case of crisis or war has been updated from six years ago because of what the government in Stockholm calls the worsening security situation, by which it means Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The booklet – which comes in a range of languages including English, Farsi, Arabic, and Somali alongside Swedish – is also twice the size.

Neighboring Finland has also just published its own fresh advice online on “preparing for incidents and crises.” Norway is following suit.

Sweden and Finland sent out updated civil preparedness guides in November with instructions on how to survive in war. The guides are similar to those in Denmark and Norway.
