Business As Usual

 We have said numerous times that we think scripture is clear about what the world will be like before the rapture.  There will not be total economic collapse.  There will not be people hiding in caves to avoid aliens. There will not be bands of gun-toting criminals roving the streets of America stealing, raping and killing at will.

No!  People will be eating at restaurants, buying stuff at Walmart, booking wedding venues, digging basements for a new house to be built, planting gardens and grass...and they knew NOTHING of what was coming until they looked around and noticed that lots of folks were gone.

Pastor Greg Laurie in his devo today confirms this understanding as well.

Matthew 24:39

"People didn't realize what was happening until the flood came and took them all away.  That's how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

During the Persian Gulf War, I happened to be teaching through the Book of Revelation. We starting receiving phone calls from some radio stations that wanted to know if I would be a guest on their program because people were wondering whether the war was Armageddon.

Needless to say, it wasn’t. But one day, I was on a phone-in radio program in Los Angeles where one of the other guests was a university religion professor who didn’t believe that Bible prophecy was relevant. He also didn’t believe that the Bible was inspired by God.

As a result, we had a little bit of a debate. And as the conversation progressed, I said, “You know, you say you don’t believe in the Bible, but in reality, you’re a fulfillment of Bible prophecy.”

“What?” he said.

I went on to explain that in the last days, the Bible predicts there will be mockers and scoffers who say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created” (2 Peter 3:4 NLT).

He didn’t appreciate that too much.

Yet Jesus said, “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat” (Matthew 24: 38 NLT).

In other words, it was business as usual. In the last days, people will ignore prophetic warnings, just as they did in Noah’s day. And just as they mocked Noah, people will mock us as followers of Christ. That, too, is a sign of the last days.

But one day the mockery will cease and the laughter will stop when Christ fulfills His very words. Jesus is coming back.

NFL Comes Out as Gay

I was just commenting to someone yesterday that soon every store you shop, every athletic event you attend and every fast food restaurant you frequent will be openly supporting the gay agenda.  If you think you can boycott Target for the LGBT Pride section so you'll  shop at Walmart...where will you go when Walmart opens a Pride section?  If you think you are going to turn off NBA because of their Black Lives Matter bull crap, then you better turn off all major sports because the NFL and MLB are already there.  Not sure where the NHL is but guessing they will bow to the WOKE crowd very soon.

In a new ad released Monday, the NFL made the bold statement in plain text – “Football is gay.” Then to follow up, they also claimed that football had many other sexual perversions, lesbian, queer, transgender, bisexual, etc.

It’s a wonder that the NFL has been so closely watched for decades and nobody had noticed how sexual the game actually was. No need to ponder that now, football is clearly a game not intended for the mainstream. They are totally gay. The only thing to do now is sit back and bask in the glory of their wonderfully diverse new audience.

All of the straight people that were watching before will find some other way to fill their time on Sundays. It is hard to imagine a scenario where this kind of targeted advertising nets the NFL more viewership, but they seem fully committed despite that. When there is a full commitment to being gay, things like revenue and viewership take a back seat.

Sam Rapoport, the NFL’s diversity director, told Outsports, “I am proud of the clear message this spot sends to the NFL’s LGBTQ+ fans: this game is unquestionably for you.

I will be playing its first line over and over in my head all season.” Many fans and ex-fans will agree with Rapoport on his second statement, “Football is gay” will be stuck in everyone’s head for many seasons to come.

The NFL’s chief marketing officer also chimed in saying, “This spot is about celebrating Pride, and the importance of inclusion.

It’s imperative that we use our voice and leverage the NFL platform to drive positive change, which includes supporting what our players care about and what they stand for.”

Even though there is only one player out of 1700+ that has come out as gay, the NFL is surely hoping for more. Perhaps teams will be incentivized with higher draft picks depending on the sexual proclivities of the roster.

The nation waits anxiously to see just how gay football can get.

Thankfully the NFL came out as gay in literally the last days of Gay Pride Month!

Why do we and should we care that some NFL player chooses to put his johnson in another man's murphy?  It makes zero sense that the NFL is choosing to make this a big deal!  But many, many things make zero sense in this world.

As we turn our eyes upon Jesus the things of this world start to grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

Man Comes Out as Transracial

 Have you ever felt that you are another race but are trapped in the body with the race you were born with?  Well don't worry!  Help is on the way as the first brave man has come out as transracial, paving the way for lots of folks who feel the same way to follow in his footsteps!

A British-born influencer announced this week that he is coming out as “transracial” and is now Korean.

In a series of videos he began sharing on June 26, Oli London, who boasts more than 300,000 followers on Instagram, revealed that he has had more than 18 plastic surgeries in order to become Korean and look like BTS singer, Park Ji-min. “Hey guys! I’m finally Korean. I’ve transitioned,” London said in a video posted Monday to Twitter. “I identify as Korean — that’s just my culture, that’s my home country, that’s exactly how I look now,” he added.  London also claimed he’s been “trapped in the wrong body for eight years.”

Perhaps anticipating blowback from the Left, London, who now prefers to go by “Jimin,” said, “I support all the LGBTQI+K/J community and believe everyone should be able to be who they want to be.”

In an extensive interview with The Daily Mail, the 31-year-old expressed how unsupported he feels by the LGBT community. “It is sad during Pride Month, a month that celebrates diversity, equality and love,” he said, “that WOKE people would use my coming out and sharing my non-binary Korean identify, something that took me many years to understand and accept and took me enormous courage to share with the world – and use it as a platform to bully, degrade and dehumanise me and the LGBT community.”

London went on:

“While I recognise that a lot of people don’t understand how I identify, and may find it unusual—being Korean and feeling Korean is part of who I am and how I feel. And I will never allow a single woke person, bully or troll to take that away from me.

I have gone through extreme lifestyle changes to become who I am today and have lived in Korea, I eat Korean food everyday, use Korean skincare, have plastic surgery to look Korean and I speak the Korean language—all of this shapes me as a person and my identify as a non-binary Korean person.

These same woke people who preach about tolerance are the same people who send me death threats everyday, make up false rumours and threaten me or tell me to take my life.’

Despite all this and the difficulties I endure at the hands of these radical woke trolls, I will always celebrate who I am and identify as Korean and embrace the Korean culture. And I will always have a deep and profound respect for Korean culture and the Korean people, who I love and adore with all my heart.”

One would think the the transgender folks would rush to his defense and celebrate his courage!  But no!!  They have been making fun of him and hurling all sorts of insults at him!  We are amazed at their hypocrisy and intolerance!  We thought for sure that the tent of LGBTQIA was certainly big enough to add another T to their letters, but I guess tolerance only applies to people who were trapped in the wrong gender bodies and NOT the wrong racial bodies.

A sad day for tolerance and inclusion for sure.

Dear Black America, You Are Being Lied To

 The Bible says that in the Last Days we will see race against race and kingdom against kingdom. So it shouldn’t surprise us that the Left in America is pushing the narrative that blacks ares being mistreated with systemic racism and that white supremacy is the biggest problem in all of America. Of course those are both massive lies that are setting up Americans for even more division. A nation divided can’t stand for very long.

We are being lied to and set up. The mainstream media, Democratic politicians, social justice activists, and perhaps even your church pastor have led you to believe America is in the midst of a racial conflict similar to the Civil War and the civil rights movement.

They have pitted us against the Proud Boys, the KKK, rural militia groups, and Trump supporters in a made-for-TV race war. Just five years after Barack Obama completed two terms as president of the United States, we're supposed to believe America has been overrun by violent white supremacists determined to reinstate segregation, Jim Crow laws, and maybe even slavery.

Evidence of this massive wave of 1920s-style bigotry amounts to three things:

1) Republicans want all voters to show a government-issued ID;

2) On January 6, unarmed Trump supporters crashed the Capitol and took pictures inside Nancy Pelosi's office;

3) Across the nation, police kill on average 250 black men and 450 white men per year.

Oh, I almost forgot. There's a fourth piece of evidence. Colin Kaepernick failed to land a job as a starting quarterback after pissing off a large segment of football fans by taking a knee during the national anthem.

Those are the main smoking guns proving that white supremacy is the most dangerous domestic threat America faces. George Floyd, a habitual criminal and drug addict, is the Crispus Attucks of this raging race war. He is our rallying cry and hero.

It's a setup. We're being used as decoys and distractions in a war that has nothing to do with race.

The real war is about global power and the future of America's system of government. This country's elite, global citizens, and corporations prefer communism over capitalism and democracy. They prefer China's system over our system.

America has been the world's leader in racial progress and fairness. The mainstream media are not allowed to explain this to you. Advertisers, aka major corporations, will no longer support media outlets that back our current democratic and capitalistic systems of governance.

You say, what about Fox News? Turn it on. It's filled with a bunch of MyPillow and wounded soldier commercials. America's big, global corporations, the ones looking to improve their market share in China, are not financially supporting Fox News. The most popular voices at Fox News dislike China.

The faux race war the mainstream media have promoted is a tool being used to convince you and non-black Americans that our system of government has been a giant failure. 

They want you to believe that a great reset is necessary to achieve fairness.

The reset is communism, which starts with the gateway drug of socialism and ends in full-blown Marxism. China is run by the Communist Chinese Party. Communism has no respect for individual freedom or religion of any kind. Communism has no tolerance for political dissent.

Your religion and free speech will not survive the reset. Communism is racial oppression's best friend. When a nation is stripped of religious faith and free speech, few people have the courage to defend the rights of minorities. The elites cozying up to China do not care about you. They are aware of how despicably China treats black people. They are aware of how China squashes dissent.

Do your own research on communism and what it stamps out and how it oppresses. Don't take my word.

You might be wondering why Oprah Winfrey or LeBron James or some other super popular black celebrity isn't telling you what I am. They're global elites. The reset won't hurt them or their loved ones. Communism favors wealthy elites far more than capitalism and democracy do. Oprah, LeBron, and the other uber-wealthy black tokens will thrive under socialism and communism.

You won't. Unless you're a 6'6" basketball star or some other black entertainer capable of entertaining the people in power. That's a tiny percentage of black people.

Why won't your favorite white cable newsman or newswoman tell you what I'm telling you? Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo, Joe Scarborough, aren't they our allies? No. They're not. They're political lobbyists working on behalf of the corporations and politicians pushing the reset.

OK. What about me? You might think I'm a political partisan working on behalf of conservative Republicans. That is certainly how I've been painted by left-leaning media outlets and social media platforms. And I'm now partnered with Blaze Media, a platform that leans right.

Judge my career. I have been at this for more than 30 years. I have been equally despised by the left and the right. I have publicly feuded with Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann. I've been a guest on their old Fox News and MSNBC shows. I've worked and/or written for ESPN, Fox Sports, the Huffington Post, Playboy Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal. I spent years bashing Sarah Palin.

I don't play for any political team. I've never voted. I go wherever I believe I can speak, follow, and write the truth. The truth I believe the most is that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.

I believe Jesus is under attack. That's why I'm at Blaze Media. You can't defend Jesus at corporate media outlets. Advertisers won't allow it. My faith won't allow me to jump on board with the lunacy, racism, and sacrilege of Black Lives Matter, a movement founded by three lesbian self-admitted trained Marxists. BLM is an atheist movement in support of LGBTQ issues and the reshaping of America into a communist country. BLM is part of the deception.

Black people tell me all the time: "I don't support the BLM organization, but I support the slogan and sentiment."

Let me translate that. You despise the devil's tree but love the fruit it produces. That's some Don Lemon-Lori Lightfoot-Van Jones-Colin Kaepernick level of hypocrisy. You know, all the Malcolm X-wannabe, anti-white radicals in relationships with white partners. They hate the white tree but can't live without the white fruit.

We have to stop letting everyone use us. We're being played. We're all being played, black and white working-class people. It's all a giant setup. Look at what they did to Trump supporters. They were manipulated into storming the Capitol, and then the corporate media portrayed it as a bloody, violent KKK rally intended to overthrow democracy. The so-called "insurrection" is an excuse for the government to seize more power and crush dissent.

We, black people, have been convinced the crushing of working-class white people is good for us.

It's not. Working-class white people, Christian white people, are our true allies, not the elites. We can't see that because of the made-for-TV hyper-focus on racial conflict.

The defunding and demoralizing of police are tactics deployed to increase violence in major cities. Local media outlets are focusing on this rise in crime, national media outlets have followed suit, and social media platforms are generating viral videos exposing the crime wave.

Guess who are the stars of this content. Black perpetrators.

It's all a massive setup. The stirring of racial animus between Obama worshippers and Trump worshippers is orchestrated by billionaire elites, executed by trained Marxists, promoted by millionaire influencers in the media, sports, and entertainment worlds, and co-signed by religious leaders pursuing popularity.

Black America, print this letter and share it with family, friends, co-workers, and, most importantly, your pastor.

My critics will tell you: "Oh, Jason Whitlock is a sellout. He hates black people."

California Braces for a Plague of Locusts

 When people hear of locusts, they think of the Bible.  Swarms of these bugs by the millions can literally turn the sky dark and decimate every green thing before they move on to the next feeding ground.

But we always think of them happening in some far-away place in Africa...certainly they can't come to America?  Right??

California and other states across the south-west are suffering a historic drought which is bringing with it all of the obvious hardships as well as a few that are unexpected. For the Biblically minded, these natural phenomena are undoubtedly divinely inspired messages.

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, the current dry spell is already outpacing the state’s devastating 2012-16 drought. Last month, Gov. Gavin Newsom expanded a drought emergency to 41 California counties, covering 30% of the state’s population.  To compound the problem, a heatwave swept across Southern California this month, breaking several records and heating Palm Springs to 123 degrees.

Associated Press reported last week that federal agriculture officials are launching what could become their largest grasshopper-killing campaign since the 1980s amid an outbreak of the hoppers. Grasshoppers thrive in warm, dry weather, and populations already were up last year. A 2020 survey found dense concentrations of adult grasshoppers across about 55,000 square miles in the Western US. This meant at least 15 insects per square yard in large areas of Montana, Wyoming and Oregon and portions of Idaho, Arizona, Colorado and Nebraska.

So another warm dry season this year bumped the population even more. Dry weather protects locust eggs from parasites that require moisture. The Department of Agriculture began aerial spraying of the pesticide diflubenzuron this week to kill young grasshopper nymphs. If the program is unsuccessful, authorities will resort to carbaryl and malathion, targeting the full-grown grasshoppers with the more toxic pesticides. 

Unfortunately, widespread spraying of insecticides will harm other breeds of insects as well including species that eat grasshoppers. Other species, such as Monarch Butterflies, are already struggling. Spraying pesticides will also damage any organic farms in its path and affect bees which are necessary for pollination. 

But if left unchecked, an outbreak of grasshoppers could consume crops and pasture intended for cattle, driving up grain and beef prices. Grasshoppers initially eat young and tender plants, move on to full-grown plants, and eventually eat the seed heads of grain plants. A typical infestation can remove 20% of forage from the range and have a $900 million impact, according to a 2012 University of Wyoming study cited by federal officials. Many farmers are insured against such damage but ranchers who graze their cattle on public lands are unprotected.

The last outbreak on this scale began in 1986 and lasted until 1988, affecting almost 20 million acres. The current outbreak is expected to peak in another two months, tapering off when the critters run out of food after having eaten everything in sight.

Locusts are a group of certain species of short-horned grasshoppers that have a swarming phase. Normally not a threat to agriculture, under suitable conditions of drought followed by rapid vegetation growth, a hormonal reaction changes the solitary grasshoppers into locusts after which they form swarms. Though the American species of grasshoppers do not undergo the hormonal change that transforms them into locusts, they do swarm and can cause great damage. 

This happened in 1874 when an estimated 12.5 trillion grasshoppers flew over an area encompassing 198,000 square miles between Minnesota and the Rio Grande. The “plague” of grasshoppers took place during a severe drought, compounding the troubles of the farmers.

If the situation in the western US gets worse, it could grow to resemble the Biblical plague.

We wonder how many signs God would have to send before the folks in America would say, "I wonder if there is a god up there who is trying to get our attention?"  Drought, COVID, financial collapse, civil unrest, crop failures, violent crime sky rocketing, men who think they are women celebrated and promoted, drug addictions crippling our health care systems...and the list goes on.

We have an idea that at this point Americans would simply harden their hearts and would never repent and turn to God.

We don't know if the locust plague is coming, but wouldn't be surprised if it did.

In Iran; Black Turban Follows a White Turban

 We watch Iran as we wait for Jesus.  Why?  Because they are a named player in the Last Days so we expect them to be in the headline news more and more often as The Day approaches.  For my new readers please note that the Bible refers to Iran as Persia.  Ezekiel 38 is clear that Persia will be part of Magog coalition that seeks the plundering of Israel which will most likely happen following the rapture of the church.

Iran just had another election and it sounds like they used fraud to elect another hardliner wearing a black turban. So what's the difference between a white and black turban in Persia?

Now what? This is the question Iranians ask these days as they try to absorb the shock of the latest elections which has propelled another turban into the presidency of the Islamic Republic.

Leaving aside the first two whose ephemeral career was too short to merit attention, the Islamic Republic has had five presidents.

Of these, only one, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, did not pretend to be a man of the cloth. Of the remaining four two, Hashemi Rafsanjani and Hassan Rouhani, wore white turbans that designated them as "common folk" (aam in Arabic) while two others, Ali Khamenei and Muhammad Khatami, donned black turbans and the title of "sayyed" which in Persian designates the descendants of the Prophet through his daughter Fatimah az-Zahra, thus regarded as "special".

The new president-elect, Ebrahim Raisi, also wears a black turban, indicating the ruling elite's determination to close ranks under the flag of Bani-Hashem.

However, there are a number of differences in Raisi's case compared to his predecessors.

He is the first to win the presidency with the title of ayatollah. The other turbaned presidents entered the game as mere Hojat al-Islam, the title of mid-ranking Shiite clerics. One, Rafsanjani, promoted himself to ayatollahhood years after his presidency had ended. Another, Khamenei, started to use the title of Ayatollah two decades later when he had already reached the top of the regime as "Supreme Guide". The remaining one, Khatami never dared progress beyond Hojat al-Islam.

Not satisfied with the title of ayatollah, Raisi also becomes the second Islamic Republic president after Rouhani to use the title of Doctor (doktur in Persian).

None of the turban-wearing presidents had undergone an authentic theological training, a scheme that would demand decades of study and training on the job before a man could claim the title of Hojat al-Islam, let alone ayatollah. Khamenei had received perfunctory theological education before he became a political activist, ending up with four years of banishment from his home province. After the revolution, he had a decade of official activity, including years as president, and thus was unable to attend any theological classes. His self-promotion to ayatollah and later grand-ayatollah was a pure public relations operation.

For his part, before the revolution Rafsanjani had been a building contractor and businessman, transforming himself into a cleric by wearing a white turban and going around as a Hojat al-Islam. Before the revolution, Khatami, too, had not thought of pursuing a clerical career and tried to obtain a degree in chemistry from Tehran University.

As for Rouhani, he was working for a diploma in textile design when the rumblings of revolt persuaded him to wear a white turban and jump on the coming gravy train piloted by Khomeini. Later, to cover up for his lack of a theological education he promoted himself to "doctor" by claiming he has PhD from a college in Scotland.

Thus Raisi is the first to start his presidency with the triple title of "doktur", ayatollah and "sayyed". In other words, he has all that all his predecessors claimed and more. More importantly, having been in his teens when the Shah left Iran and the Ayatollah Khomeini arrived, he is a pure product of the new regime found by Khomeini; a bionic man put together by the infernal machine of the Khomeinist state and reflecting all its pretensions and contradictions. He is also closer to a new generation of nomenklatura than his turbaned predecessors.

These points merit attention because to see Raisi as a cleric heading a clerical regime would be a mistake. He is as much of a cleric as Saddam Hussein was a Field Marshal. It would also be a mistake to see him, as some American "liberals" have done, as more "open to the world" because he claims a PhD.

At the other end of the spectrum, many people see Raisi as an Iranian caricature of Judge Blood because, as a junior judge, he had been part of a group of mullahs issuing thousands, some say tens of thousands, of death sentences on dissidents and other opponents of the regime. However, to see Raisi as a mere puppet playing Judge Blood could also be misleading. Raisi has been created by a network of Mafia-like interests linked to the military-security apparatus that has embraced the Iranian-nation, sucking its vial energies, as a poison ivy that could kill a towering oak with a tight embrace.

You simply can't make it up that President dementia-Joe wants to re-sign Obama's nuke deal with these terrorists.  Trump tore it up soon after taking office.  They say "Death to America!  Death to Israel!" every single day before their version of Congress meets.  But the Left here in America is wowed by anyone with a PhD and believe that this title confirms you are more educated and less likely to be a religious fanatic of any stripe.  So Biden will probably give the new President of Iran all the line he needs to continue planning the destruction of Israel.

And where does this leave America in the blessing or cursing of Israel?

The Slaughter of Christians Continues

 It's been said that if something costs you nothing, it could be labeled as worthless.  Here in America our Christianity has cost most of us very little.  Yes maybe it has strained your relationship with your parents or siblings but that's about it.  Of course many also believe this may soon be changing in America.  We know that our brothers and sisters in China have been praying for persecution to come to America because they KNOW how persecution strengthens the true followers.

But let's remember today that following Christ in many parts of the world is already costing a great deal. Especially in the dark places where Satan rules and Holy Spirit filled people are rare enough that there are too few to restrain the forces of evil.  Think about the Muslim countries who worship a demon-god named Allah.

Here is just a sampling of the recent cases of Muslims doing heinous things to Christians.

Uganda: On May 3, hours after Pastor Thomas Chikooma engaged in a public debate about Islam and Christianity, Muslims severed his tongue and beheaded him. The well-known pastor, father of 11, had planted 50 churches in eastern Uganda. During the open-air event, to which Muslims had invited him, he used the Bible and Koran to make his points. He won over several people — including six Muslims, who went on to convert to Christianity — prompting angry Muslims in the crowd to cry "Allahu Akbar," prompted the pastor and his young son to rush away from the event.

"Two motorcycles carrying two Muslims each and dressed in Islamic attire speedily bypassed us," his son, a minor, later explained. "When we were 200 meters to reach our house, the two motorcycles stopped at the junction opposite Nalufenya primary school and the road near our house." The pastor told his son to wait while he went to confront the four men. "Immediately some commotion began as the men started talking about the open-air debate, and soon one of them slapped my father," said his son. "I got scared and fled ... and arrived at home." The boy eventually met up with his mother, and they went searching for Pastor Thomas.

According to the wife, "As we continued doing the search, we found my husband in a pool of blood, beheaded and his tongue removed." His tongue was likely cut out as punishment for "speaking against Islam."

Separately, Muslims poisoned and killed a Christian pastor over his land: whether a church or mosque would be built over it. Initially, Muslims in the area urged Pastor Yolonim Oduchu to sell them his land, so they could construct a mosque on it. According to the pastor's brother, Francis:

"Aliasa Opeduru and a number of [other] Muslims had approached my brother to sell them the piece of land several times, but my brother declined because their offer was small, and he also wanted to have part of the land set aside for constructing a church structure. Later my brother received a threatening message from Opeduru saying he would not negotiate with him again."

Eventually the Muslims "found a sponsor in Turkey to fund the construction of the mosque." Now the problem became that the Muslims did not want a church near their mosque, but Pastor Yolonim began clearing his parcel of land in preparation of construction. Then, one day, after eating at a hotel owned by a Muslim, "my husband," said his wife Mary, "took a motorcycle and arrived at home complaining of severe stomach pains, diarrhea and started vomiting. We rushed him to a nearby clinic, and he succumbed to poisoning." Soon after his burial, his brother saw blood sprinkled atop the pastor's grave with papers with Arabic writing.

"We then sought assistance from police, who came with a sniffing dog that directed the mourners up to Opeduru's home, where we found the suspect inside the house sleeping. When police asked him about the blood, he admitted to pouring the animal blood there because the pastor didn't respect him."

After being interrogated by angry residents, the hotel owner confessed that "Muslims had given him poison and instructed him to put it in Pastor Oduchu's food." The pastor is survived by his wife and eight children, ages 2 to 16.

Pakistan: A group of Muslims abducted, beat, and poisoned a Christian man, before leaving him for dead in the middle of a street. Thirty-two-year-old Arif Masih's crime was that he had tried to defend his younger sister from sexual harassment. According to the report, on May 20,

"Rehana Bibi, 18, had gone to the bazaar to buy some milk. Returning home, two young men, Muhammad Tariq and Muhammad Majid, began to harass her. The girl tried to escape and took refuge in the house. The two broke into the house and got into a fight with Arif [her brother]. The two young men also took the girl and dragged her to the bazaar, tore off her clothes and mocked her."

Although the family registered a complaint with police, the police failed to act. Instead, Masih began to receive threats from the two accused men to drop the complaint, or else. Then, on May 23:

"both perpetrators went to Arif's home and attacked him. They loaded him onto their motorcycle and then beat and poisoned him, throwing him on the street. Local people informed the family that their son was lifeless in the middle of the road."

He was rushed to two different hospitals but, "due to his injuries and the poison, he died." Because they could not get justice, Masih's family took his body and exhibited it in the middle of a road, stopping vehicles and begging for justice (picture here).

Germany: During court proceedings, it was learned that a Muslim migrant from Syria murdered his sister's boyfriend for being Christian. According to the May 18 report,

"[H]e had killed his sister's boyfriend because, as a Muslim, he would not tolerate his sister's relationship with her Christian boyfriend. According to the verdict, the man waited more than an hour in the backyard for the victim in January 2019. When the 25-year-old got out of the car, the defendant fired shots from close range. The man died in the hospital from his gunshot wounds."

Democratic Republic of Congo: The Allied Democratic Forces, designated by the U.S. as an Islamic terror group, massacred between 50 and 57 people in the Christian majority nation, and torched 25 homes between May 29 and 30. The group is committed to creating an Islamic Caliphate in Central Africa.

Burkina Faso: On May 18, Islamic terrorists attacked a Christian baptismal ceremony, where they massacred 15 Christians. "People are shocked and many are running," a native in contact with town residents reported at the time. It is the fourth such attack in the nation's Sahel region. According to the report:

"Violence linked to al-Qaida and the Islamic State extremists has left thousands dead in the West African nation over the last several years. In recent weeks, attacks have spiked in Burkina Faso's Sahel region and in the country's east. Two Spanish journalists and an Irish conservationist were among more than 50 people killed during one week in April. The violence has displaced more than 1 million people, and aid groups say it's also brought tens of thousands to the brink of starvation by disrupting aid operations to those in need."

South Sudan: On Sunday, May 19, a group of Muslims attacked and killed more than a dozen Christians. The attack and other forms of "senseless violence" have been taking place in the most northern part of the nation, particularly in Abyei, "an area that experiences Islamic encroachments followed by harassment, intimidation and frequent attacks carried out by Arab Islamic militias," said the Episcopal Church of South Sudan in a statement. Of the most recent attack, the Bishop of Abyei, Michael Deng Bol, said that the village of Dungob-Alei, had been "barbarically attacked by militiamen of Sudan since around 5.30 am on Sunday 16 May, killing 13 people and wounding eight others. "

"The fighting is still continuing up to now [late Monday night]... This is not the first attack of its kind. In 2020 Kolom village, 12km away from Abyei town, and Mabok Diil village, 18km east of Abyei town, were also attacked in the same way with 38 killed and 22 wounded, together with the abduction of 17 children and burning down of 77 houses including our prayer centres and medical facilities."

Nigeria: Some of the massacres of Christians at the hands of Fulani Muslim herdsmen reported throughout the month of May:

May 23: "Fourteen Christians were butchered to death, including children," a survivor from a raided village wrote in a communique. "Eight members of one family have all been killed. This is beside an additional six other Christians killed by the herdsmen in the village." More Christians were killed in another village on or around that same day, for a total of 37 dead. Survivors heard the attackers shouting the jihadist war-cry, "Allahu Akbar." Discussing the fate of her brother, one woman said,

"The armed Fulani herdsmen spotted him and shot him dead. I feel very sad about the way my brother was killed in cold blood. Why must we live in fear every day, not knowing the evil that awaits us as Christians in this country?"

We pretty much know the answer but we wonder how many followers of Christ will need to be killed by Muslims before our liberal denominations here in America will realize that Muslims ARE NOT our brother and sisters?  Yes, we know the Catholics, ELCA Lutherans and Methodists might believe we are all worshipping the same god but they are deceived. 

Let's all please remember to pray for the persecuted church.  As we can read above, for many of these folks following Jesus has cost them a great deal.

Please remember that Islam's founder, Muhammad, claimed to get a new gospel from an angel that visited him in a cave.  Had Muhammad been studying his Bible he would have quickly tested this demon spirit, who denied the deity of Christ, and rebuked him in Jesus' name.  But he didn't.  Most likely he became possessed by this false spirit and started spreading his newfound religion using murder and terror which continues to this day.
