If We Stay On This Path Nuclear War Inevitable

In our reading of scripture we believe that the world will stay pretty normal and functioning up to the point that Jesus comes and snatches his bride from earth.  Soon after that there will be confusion, destruction, judgment, hail stones, meteors crashing into the sea, plants and green grass burned up, demonic invasions...and people will no longer be marrying, planting, building, eating and drinking like they always have.  For this reason we don’t believe that followers of Christ will be around to see a nuclear war that devastates the world and destroys nations.  But the fact that we are seeing articles like this should maybe wake us up as to how close we are to the end of this age.

 There will be nuclear war if we stay on this path.  Almost every day, we get more news about how both sides are escalating the conflict in Ukraine.  If the American people truly understood what was at stake, there would be giant protests in the streets of every major U.S. city right now.  But they don’t.  Most of us are entirely convinced that our leaders can do whatever they want in Ukraine without sparking a nuclear war.  But the Russians see things very differently.  On Russian television there are endless discussions about how the war in Ukraine is really a proxy war between the United States and Russia, and pundits openly discuss the possibility that eventually nuclear weapons will be used.  In fact, the destruction of specific U.S. cities has even been discussed on Russian television, but most Americans never hear anything about this.

In a nuclear conflict, the side that uses their weapons first has the best chance of surviving, and the Russians understand this very well.

If push comes to shove, the Russians won’t hesitate to strike if they believe that nuclear war has become inevitable.

So we need to stop this madness while we still can.

Unfortunately, our leaders seem to have no interest in ending the conflict in Ukraine.  Instead, they just keep doing things to raise tensions even higher.

28% of Voters Say They Soon Might Have to Take Up Arms Against the Government

 It would appear that some millions of Americans are seeing events spiraling downward enough that they may soon need to pick up guns and fight their own government.  Maybe this is the reason that the government uses every mass shooting to roll out the narrative that they need to take guns away to keep people safe?

We have wondered for some time now about how long Conservatives are going to tolerate living with Leftists who now believe in multiple genders, that men can menstruate, that homosexuality is normal and to be encouraged, that killing babies should be a “woman’s right” but can’t define what a woman actually is.  They are brutal, crude, lovers of violence and we wonder what events might transpire to get Left and Right to physically separate?  Maybe all conservatives move to the Red States and liberals to the blue states?  Maybe the obvious place for Liberals to move would be states that allow abortions?  Maybe we need to have serious discussions about how to separate the USA into 2 countries before it implodes from within?

When and if the United States of America fails before the return of Jesus, it will be a very dark and calamitous day for the entire world.

More than one-in-four U.S. voters are so alienated from their government that they believe it may "soon be necessary to take up arms" against it, according to a new survey.

Twenty-eight percent of the 1,000 registered U.S. voter in the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics survey released Thursday agreed and said yes to the question.

In a partisan breakdown, one-in-three Republicans and Independent voters held that view, compared to one-in-five Democrats, the survey also found.

The finding comes amid the televised Democrat-led House committee’s hearings on the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, which has focused in large part on whether former President Trump and members of his inner circle helped incite the riot. 

The survey was led by Republican pollster Neil Newhouse and Democratic pollster Joel Benenson.

The institute said the survey was designed to "probe polarization and its relationship to the news sources upon which Americans rely in a fractionated media environment."

"The portrait that it paints reveals not only the growing divides we have witnessed in recent years but strong sentiments that the majority of media outlets contribute to these divisions by intentionally misleading their audiences to promote a political point of view," the institute also said.

Say Goodbye to Presbyterian USA

I remember seeing a photo of the foyer in the Presbyterian church in downtown Minneapolis.  They had a table with 3 books laying on it. A sign above the table read, “The Holy Texts”.  The book of prominence laying in the middle was the Muslim Koran. What could they be thinking?  And now we more evidence of how lost the leadership is. They won’t be around much longer as they curse Israel by comparing them to Nazis and spreading other lies about them.

On Tuesday, by a vote of 28 for and only three against, The Presbyterian Church of the United States of America, an umbrella group representing churches across the country claiming over 1.7 million members, passed several anti-Israel resolutions including one that labeled Israel an apartheid state and compared Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians to the Nazi’s genocidal treatment of the Jews.

Other false accusations made by the resolution were:

• The resolution falsely accuses Israel of stealing Palestinian water supplies “for Jewish-only settlements”
• Establishing two sets of laws, one for Israelis and one for Palestinians, which give preferential treatment to Israeli Jews and oppressive treatment to Palestinians,
• Denying the right to “freedom of residence to Palestinians.”
• It accused Israel of “dividing the population along racial lines by the creation of separate reserves and ghettos for the Palestinians.”

The resolution also condemned Israel’s use o checkpoints and security barriers which have proven effective at preventing Palestinian terrorism. The resolution called for “members, congregations, presbyteries, and national staff units, including the Office of Interfaith Relations, to seek appropriate ways to bring an end to Israeli apartheid.” Ironically, the resolution claimed the purpose of demonizing Israel was a “peaceful reconciliation for the people of Israel and Palestine similar to that which occurred in South Africa when apartheid was internationally acknowledged.”

While acknowledging that there is a disturbing rise in antisemitism, the resolution claimed that its claims were not antisemitic as they addressed  “behaviors…without condemning a whole people group.”

Come Lord Jesus

 This comes from the weekly commentary done every Monday in Rapture Ready.  It seems lots of folks are ready and hopeful for Jesus to return.  We can see where this story is going and don’t care to be around for the collapse of America.  So please, come Lord Jesus.

“Come, Lord Jesus”

This phrase, imploring that Jesus intervene in a less-than-pleasant moment of the life of a believer, used to be spoken in a sort of light-hearted way—i.e., the person saying this used the words to express their frustration with the way something was going they would rather not face.

One heard, “Come, Lord Jesus,” once in a while, but for the most part, it was issued with a grimace, then a smile, indicating that things weren’t really so grim as to want the Lord to rescue them. At least that is my observation, thinking back over the years.

I guess some would accuse that this was, when used in such a light vein, a way of using the Lord’s name in vain–something the Bible indicates is forbidden. Perhaps I should view it that way, but just never did, believing that His coming at any moment would be a glorious thing, not something to wish for that should be criticized as sinful. At any rate, shouldn’t we want the Lord to come back? We’re told in Scriptures like Luke 21:28, Mark 13:37, and Titus 2:13 to be looking for, watching for, the Lord coming for us.

Worry and conjecture over whether such light usage of the phrase, ”Come, Lord Jesus” is wrong no longer applies, because now there is no doubt about its usage. The appeal for Jesus to intervene in our lives is genuine in every respect.

If I put into this commentary every case lately in which I’ve received an email that uses the phrase, “Come, Lord Jesus,” in different ways, the article would be lengthy indeed. These days, Christians, I’ve found, are genuine in asking the Lord to rescue us out of this spiritually darkening—dare I say, insane—world.

American Christians have been for years, for the most part, spoiled to things going along pretty well without challenge to their belief in Christ. There has been very little persecution compared to that suffered by believers of other nations—China, for example. Those believers might not recognize much difference in the level of troubles they’re suffering because of their faith. Things might be getting worse, but their plight hasn’t changed significantly in terms of contrast.

By that, I mean that we here in America have seen things go from relatively smooth, with little challenge and no persecution to speak of, to tremendous changes and growing persecution for our belief in Christ as the only way to salvation.

We’ve seen the country’s attitudes change from America being called a Christian nation to having a president say we are not a Christian nation. We’ve watched a pastor of a president asking God to damn America, using the term in a way that takes the Lord’s name in vain in an obvious, overt expression.

We’ve endured the corruption of everything we thought secure, the US Constitution and its framers—the founding fathers—made out to be, through rewritten history, among the most evil documents and most evil men in human history.

We’ve witnessed our nation fight to win freedom from slavery for African Americans, with one party being at the helm of government that won the war and freed the slaves. The other party, who mostly advocated holding slaves, who lost that Civil War, now calls the political party that freed slaves guilty of racism.

The lies from the father of lies run rampant, even mocking God’s prescription for living righteously. For example, the homosexual lobby, although a small percentage of the citizenry, dominates the mainstream media narrative in proclaiming it is as righteous a lifestyle as any.

That same culture and media now makes out God to be a liar by saying male and female don’t have to be what they came into the world to be. A boy can be a girl, or vice-versa. It is a choice, not a biological fact of birth, as directed by God.

And, the same media and culture proclaims it is not only okay, but preferable, to murder children while in the womb or even after birth in some cases, as a matter of a woman’s right to choose whether her baby lives or dies.

So, in America, the contrast is stark. We have seen the evil cesspool of wickedness infect our culture and society in most every way possible, unthinkable only a few decades ago. That is why we say, and legitimately so, “Come, Lord Jesus!”

And it all means that the Lord Jesus must surely be about to step out onto the clouds of glory and say, “Come up here!”

And when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your head; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21 28)

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Revelation 22: 20)

Bangladesh Sees Worst Flooding Ever

 Bangladesh is always getting flooded. It must be a miserable place to be.  Throw on top the hell created by Islam and you end up with a real sewer of a place.  Today we find that the recent flooding isn’t just flooding as normal but the worst flooding EVER seen!  Also notice the word NEVER used.  When we see NEVER and EVER in an article it almost always becomes blog worthy.

An estimated 7.2 million people have been affected and are in desperate need of shelter and emergency relief after heavy monsoon rains hit Bangladesh, causing record-breaking floods. 

From early June, torrential rain and upstream water have completely submerged around 94% of the town of Sunamganj and 84% of Sylhet districts, in northeastern Bangladesh, bordering the Meghalaya state of India.1

Parts of Meghalaya have experienced the highest amount of rainfall in decades, which has led to the overflowing of large river systems running between India and Bangladesh and completely swallowing surrounding areas.

“We have never seen this sort of flooding in our living memories in that region,” said Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Secretary General Kazi Shofiqul Azam.

“Hundreds of thousands of people took refuge as their houses went under water and almost all their neighborhoods inundated. Large parts of Sunamganj and Sylhet were completely cut off due to severe disruption of road communication and power cuts.”

Alien Deception: We’ve Been Primed

Of course it’s always a little gratifying, confirming and back-patting when you read about other folks coming around to the idea that aliens are really demons in disguise.😀

Let me cut to the chase right up front – My take on aliens is that it’s partly a psychological operation (“psych ops”) in order to rally the world population together against a common enemy (an essential element of totalitarianism that would usually be other countries but in a “one world order” it has to come from elsewhere, I guess).

But this is not a psych ops with no substance behind it – it’s a ploy with real teeth. You see I think it will be demons (stay with me now…) who will present themselves as aliens (OK so fallen angels are probably aliens in the strict use of the term, but they are not an evolved species from another planet). The reason would be to rally humanity under a single totalitarian system, a kingdom, with Lucifer himself seated as king (probably through a human proxy). If you thought the loss of freedom and coercion because of a virus or climate change was bad enough, imagine what could be imposed upon the masses if there was an existential threat from an alien force?

But you can’t tell me governments have been hatching this plan for generations? No, that’s right, they play a support role but haven’t written the script. It’s not the brainchild of the CIA or any other natural entity – it’s a supernatural plan. People are just not that coordinated nor dedicated over generations to pull this one off.

I guess another version of demons masquerading as aliens is that they would be “good” aliens, bringing us medicine and technology and through these things unite the planet in a globalist utopia. It would have the same end – worship of the king of the kingdom of earth. But somehow my sense of the dramatic would rather go with the false enemy scenario – existential threat is way more powerful than kind gifts of technology to bring people under extraordinary control.

God Makes Nations Great

 Job 12

He makes nations great, and destroys them;
    he enlarges nations, and disperses them.
24 He deprives the leaders of the earth of their reason;
    he makes them wander in a trackless waste.
25 They grope in darkness with no light;
    he makes them stagger like drunkards.

As one looks at the decline of America as our leaders stagger around clueless, this passage from Job seems appropriate.

"Something Weird is Going On in the Universe", says NASA

 God made the heavens and the earth.  He also made all living things upon it.  And one day the whole thing is going to be burned with fire and a new heaven and a new earth will be made.

Revelation 21

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! NASA seems a bit surprised to learn that what they are observing doesn't really match up with what they believed to be true.  (It's science!)  They believed that when the Big Bang happened 14 billion years ago that the explosive rate of the expansion of the universe would actually slow down...just like all explosions.

But what they are now observing is that the expansion of the universe it speeding up!!

My initial thousand dollar question is WHAT is the universe expanding INTO?

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), “something weird” is going on in the universe.

NASA made that determination by examining evidence gleaned from the Hubble Space Telescope deep in space, which has measured the speed at which the universe is currently expanding, which is much faster than the speed of the expansion at the Big Bang.

“The cause of this discrepancy remains a mystery,” NASA writes. “But Hubble data, encompassing a variety of cosmic objects that serve as distance markers, support the idea that something weird is going on, possibly involving brand new physics.”

Scientists had assumed that gravity would slow down the universe’s expansion over time.

“The universe is not only expanding, but it is expanding faster and faster as time goes by,” Dr. Kathy Romer of the Dark Energy Survey told the Daily Mail. “What we’d expect is that the expansion would get slower and slower as time goes by, because it has been nearly 14 billion years since the Big Bang.”

Just imagine how scientists will try to explain the disappearance of million of people when Jesus comes to take us to the place he's been?  Just imagine when science tries to explain how God rolls up all things into a scroll and time ceases to exist?

It's funny how folks scream at other folks, "It's science!" and they somehow believe that science is fact and never changing!  In reality science changes all the time as new discoveries are unearthed.

In the end, our tiny human minds simply can't imagine the power of God and his ability to speak our entire observable universe into existence.  And it will always be that way.  God's ways will ALWAYS be higher than ours.

China and Taiwan, "Yes, We are That Close to War"

 With all the chaos happening this year we are quite frankly surprised that China hasn't already invaded Taiwan.   We are quite sure that, in spite of U.S. promises to defend Taiwan, America is not going to go to nuclear war with China over Taiwan.  Meanwhile China grows more aggressive in it's actions to let the world know that they consider Taiwan to be Chinese territory and they WILL take it back.

Taiwan needs to let China know that it has some super powerful missiles and would be willing to use them to destroy the Three Gorges Dam which would kill hundreds of thousands of Chinese.

Will China risk it?  Would Taiwan actually launch it?

At least one of Taiwan's "eggs" can kill tens of millions of Chinese, perhaps more.

The range of Taiwan's Yun Feng cruise missile has never been publicly confirmed, but analysts believe it to be about 1,240 miles, sufficient to reach both the Chinese capital and the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest flood-control structure.

China's dam creates a reservoir of 39.3 billion cubic meters of water on the Yangtze River and is upstream from about 400 million people. Almost 30% of China's population, therefore, is at risk of a catastrophic failure of the structure, such as one caused by a missile strike. That means Taiwan possesses a conventional weapon that packs the wallop of a nuclear one.

When it comes to deterrence, however, quantity counts. "China now has significant superiority over Taiwan in terms of total combat aircraft and warships," Richard Fisher of the International Assessment and Strategy Center told Gatestone. "The People's Liberation Army can call on thousands of civilian barges and about 4,000 Boeing and Airbus airliners to transport the bulk of its invasion and occupation force to Taiwan."

Therefore, Taiwan, to deter China, needs thousands of missiles, perhaps tens of thousands of them. Taiwan's Yun Feng production rate has never been publicly confirmed, but it is clear that the island republic does not now possess a sufficient number of them.

The United States should have been actively encouraging Taiwan to develop missiles two decades ago, but it did not. The Obama administration even "tried to actively discourage Taiwan from acquiring such missiles," Fisher told John Batchelor's "CBS Eye on the World" radio program on the 21st of this month.

Now, the United States needs to help Taiwan improve the speed and range of its missiles and, of course, increase the number of them.

Moreover, Taiwan needs to ensure that China cannot destroy its Yun Feng missiles in an initial attack. Some of Taiwan's missiles are on vulnerable fixed launchers but most of them are on mobile ones, Fisher told Gatestone.

On June 21, China flew 29 planes, including six nuclear-capable H-6 bombers, through Taiwan's air-defense identification zone, the ninth incursion this month. "The latest large-scale exercise by the #PLA shows authoritarian #China's military threat is more serious than ever," tweeted Taiwan Foreign Minister Joseph Wu from his ministry's official account.

The Chinese planes followed a track through international airspace, but the June 21 flight is nonetheless considered hostile. These air-zone provocations have become continuous in recent months and follow a far more serious act. On February 5, China flew one of its aircraft directly over one of Taiwan's outlying islands, a blatant violation of sovereign airspace.

"The campaign of intimidation is only going to become larger and bolder," Fisher told Gatestone, before the June 21 incursion.

Up to now, the United States has tried to manage the situation across the Taiwan Strait by not angering China. The American policy has in fact prevented an invasion, but it worked in a generally benign period and that benign period has clearly passed.

Now, China's regime looks as if it wants to go to war. The harsh remarks of China's Defense Minister, General Wei Fenghe, at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore this month, are a clear warning of hostile intent.

China has targets, and Taiwan has missiles. That translates into deterrence if Taiwan makes it clear that, in the defense of its sovereignty, it is prepared to take Chinese lives in the hundreds of millions.

Warnings of this kind kept the peace in Europe during the Cold War, despite the Soviet Union's overwhelming conventional military advantage over Western European nations.

For decades, Taiwan politicians were reluctant to talk about their island's ability to kill Chinese people in great numbers. Now, they obviously think they must speak out, and forcefully. Making threats of inflicting mass casualties is perhaps the last lever Taiwan has to keep the peace in East Asia.

Yes, we are that close to war.

Sign Says, “Women Want Roe v Wade, Not Jesus”

Mankind's biggest sin that will condemn them to hell is not being gay, aborting babies, drunkenness, adultery, lust or gluttony, no, it's rejecting Jesus.  Jesus died for us WHILE WE WERE SINNERS. Accept Jesus and HE will begin to help us clean up our sin.  Of course the pro-abortion folks who want to continue to sin by destroying human life (Thou Shalt Not Murder) want nothing to do with Jesus.  Witness the woman wearing a BLM T-shirt while carrying a sign saying what women want, and it's NOT JESUS.  

Also comical and confusing is that for the past few months the Left didn't seem to know what a "WOMAN" actually was?  And now all of a sudden they are all using the word WOMAN and WOMEN and saying things like "Women want Roe v Wade" 

My dear Christian friend, CFP reader Maria Kneas worries that the sign ‘Women Want Roe V. Wade NOT JESUS’ seen carried by pro-abortion protesters in the aftermath of the Roe V. Wade SCOTUS decision could become the ‘Sign of our Times’.

It should go without saying that the devil’s demons out on the street can, with the help of BLM and Antifa activists, burn down pregnancy centers, but cannot possibly incinerate the faith of humanity in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It takes a certain kind of conceit to attach to women in the collective a claim that “WOMEN “want Roe V Wade “Not Jesus”.

It’s a corrosive and demonic kind of conceit that puts the “Me,Me, ME” attitude first and foremost, above the lives of innocent babes in the womb.

The conceit of the hordes hoisting the ‘Women Want Want Roe V. Wade NOT JESUS’ reminds me of the conceit of their main leader, the loud and lamentable shrieker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), who tweeted out this message:

“Not every Democrat is pro-choice…we really need to reassess if it’s appropriate for them to serve.”

There is no doubt that this awesome SCOTUS ruling, which turns abortion laws back to the states where it always belonged, is going to further divide Americans and put us one step closer to realizing that Right and Left will not be able to co-exist too much longer in the same space.  Whether this plays out in Civil War we have no clue.  But maybe it will start to relocate people as Leftist LEAVE states that outlaw abortion and Right Side folks begin to move to the very states Leftists are fleeing?

We did read that some Texas Republicans are stirring the pot once again on the idea of Texas seceding from America...which is their right.
