Lots of Watchers Seeing Isaiah 17 Come Into Focus

 We said it yesterday, but anytime we see Damascus and Israel in the same headline it should make us sit up and take notice.

Why? 

Because of Isaiah 17.  I would encourage you to go read it if you aren't familiar with it.  Damascus will one day vanish into a heap of rubble and never be inhabited again.  That has never happened so clearly is a future prophecy and maybe going to happen very soon.

As soon as Israel sends troops into Gaza, a chain of events will begin which nobody is going to be able to control.  I believe that one of those events will be Hezbollah entering the conflict from the north.  

As I discussed yesterday, there is no way that Hezbollah is just going to sit there and watch Hamas get systematically wiped out by the IDF.  Hezbollah is already mobilizing their forces and making preparations to join the fight.  But if that happens, Israel is going to hit back extremely hard.  In fact, there are reports that Israel has already warned Hezbollah that if it enters the war the Israelis will "destroy Damascus"...

Unfortunately, this threat has not caused Hezbollah to back down and Israeli jets attacked and disabled the airports in Damascus and Aleppo today.  It is believed the airports were receiving arms shipments from Iran for local militia groups who are preparing to help Hezbollah.

Fox News is reporting that the Israelis are now "actively fighting a secondary front along Israel's northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon"...

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said Wednesday that the Israeli army shelled the Lebanese border town of Duhaira and the surrounding area where the missile attack came from. He also said Israel was actively fighting a secondary front along Israel's northern border with Hezbollah in Lebanon, in addition to the counteroffensive the IDF is launching in the Gaza Strip.

"We have deployed tens of thousands of additional units along the northern border," Conricus said, including infantry, special forces, armored forces, artillery, air forces, and "additional assets including intelligence and logistics."

Hezbollah has not formally entered the war yet.

But I think that will likely happen very quickly once Israel invades Gaza.

So could Israel actually turn Damascus into a pile or rubble?

Chapter 17 in the Book of Isaiah paints a sobering picture. In it, the city of Damascus is a pile of rubble. The Bible says it will disappear from the face of the earth and become a heap of ruins (Isaiah 17:1). 

At the same time, large parts of northern Israel will also lie in ruin (Isaiah 17:3). 

Now, before you say this prophecy was fulfilled during Old Testament times, keep this in mind... This passage says Damascus will cease to be a city (Isaiah 17:1). 

It will be utterly and completely destroyed. Yet, Damascus is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on record. Its history goes back more than 5,000 years. At 2,600 years old, the Book of Isaiah itself is new compared to Damascus! This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled.

How interesting is it that Israel has threatened to do exactly what the Bible predicts - destroy Damascus.

Their Is No Such Thing as “Palestinian People”

I would encourage you to read this entire article I have linked.  Below I’ve posted just a few paragraphs.  With war going on between Israel and Hamas, we’ve seen all kinds of crazy leftists in America supporting Hamas and justifying their actions because “the Palestinian people are living in Jewish apartheid!”  But even a simple reading of history will show that there is no such thing as Palestinian people.  No governments, no currency, no history, no kings, no civilization...they are just Arabs who are being used as pawns for political purposes.

 No, there was no concept of a “Palestinian people” but rather, always one of Palestinian Arabs who were part of the wider Arab Muslim ummah.

How did they then suddenly appear as homogeneous ethnic group in 1967 when not even the Arab High Commission had ever heard of them?

There are undereducated misconceptions too that pan-Arabism was of no consequence in the dialogue surrounding the authenticity of the “Palestinian” “people”. This is untrue.

Even the younger generation of post 1948 Arab activists supported this ideal as evidenced by Ahmad Shuqeiri, a Lebanon-born politician of mixed Egyptian, Hijazi, and Turkish descent who served as the Arab League’s deputy secretary-general. As he put it, “Palestine is part and parcel in the Arab homeland.”

Asked to clarify which part of the “Arab homeland” this specific territory belonged, he added that Palestine “is nothing but southern Syria.”

And so, it is no surprise that Yasser Arafat, the (Egyptian born and educated) father of the “Palestinian people” followed this pan-Arab line. The 1964 PLO charter defined the Palestinians as “an integral part of the Arab nation”, rather than a distinct nationality (emphasis mine) and vowed allegiance to the ideal of pan-Arab unity – that is, to Palestine’s eventual assimilation into “the greater Arab homeland.”

In 1996, even that bastion which proclaims itself as the leader in the “struggle” for the Palestinian “people”, Hamas, said this, “Islamic and traditional views reject the notion of establishing an independent Palestinian state … In the past, there was no independent Palestinian state. … [Hence] our main goal is to establish a great Islamic state, be it pan-Arabic or pan-Islamic… This…land…is not the property of the Palestinians…. This land is the property of all Muslims in all parts of the world.”  (senior Hamas leader Mahmud Zahar, 1996)

And finally, on this line of reasoning, it is not possible to go past the words of Azmi Bishara, founding leader of the nationalist Balad Party (with seats in the Israeli parliament since 1999). In a statement he made in 2002 he said: “My Palestinian identity never precedes my Arab identity…. I don’t think there is a Palestinian nation, there is [only] an Arab nation…. “

Not much more needs to be said; the concept of a Palestinian “people” engaged in a struggle of “liberation” from a colonial Jewish “oppressor” is a purposely misleading one, invented solely for the purpose of de-legitimising the Jewish state and its people.

Friday the 13th, The “Global Day of Jihad”

The Palestinian Hamas terror group known as Hamas has called on Muslims worldwide to stage a “Day of Jihad,” or holy war, on Friday, October 13th — coincidentally, a date that resonates with horror movies and the upcoming Halloween holiday.

Hamas referred to the day as “Al-Aqsa Flood” Friday, referring to the name of the operation in which it murdered more than 1,200 Israelis, wounded roughly 3,000, and kidnapped over 100.

“First: We declare next Friday, ‘The Friday of the Al-Aqsa Flood,’ as a day of general mobilization in our Arab and Islamic world and among the free people of the world. It is a day to rally support, offer aid, and participate actively. It is a day to expose the crimes of the occupation, isolate it, and foil all its aggressive schemes. It is a day to demonstrate our love for Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa. With Israel Fighting Hamas in South, Hezbollah May Attack in North

Hezbollah is just one more Muslim terror group among many.  But Hezbollah has TON of funding and weapons from Iran.  Hezbollah has warned Israel that if they invade Gaza in a ground war that they are prepared to open up a 2nd front and attack Israel to the North.  If Israel ever feels overwhelmed to the point that they believe they have lost their nation to Muslim terrorists, they have what they call the “Sampson option”.  Sampson knowingly died while taking out Philistines with his last breath.  Israel would be willing to nuke themselves and kill Arab armies with their last breath.  They WILL not be herded onto train cars and shipped to death camps anymore.  That will NEVER happen is what they think. In reality, the TIME OF JACOBS TROUBLE will be an incredibly bad time for the Jews right before Jesus returns to earth.

Deadly, but so far sporadic, clashes with Hezbollah have already erupted in the area, as the bulk of the Israeli military is massing in southern Israel, poised to launch a major ground offensive in Gaza against Hamas militants who have killed more than 1,300 Israelis since last weekend.

If Hezbollah—which is designated a terrorist group by the U.S. and is closely linked to Iran—enters the conflict in a concerted way, it would stretch Israel’s army and strain the country’s air defenses, given Hezbollah’s arsenal of missiles capable of striking Tel Aviv. 

Hezbollah has privately warned Israel that it is prepared to open a second front if Israeli forces launch a ground assault in Gaza, according to Arab officials and diplomats. But whether Hezbollah follows through with the threat is a central topic of debate for Israeli leaders.

The U.S. has in turn warned Hezbollah and Iran that it will defend Israel if the Lebanese militant group launches a major attack. Israel’s defense minister vowed to send Lebanon back to “the Stone Age” if Hezbollah attacked.

Syria Says Israeli Missiles Hit Damascus

Remember to watch for Isaiah 17- the destruction of Damascus.  Iran supplies terrorists in Gaza, Hamas.  They also supply terrorists in Lebanon, Hezbollah.  And they also use Syria as a place to store and maybe create chemical weapons which they hope to one day use against the Jews.  Iran IS the major player and offspring of Haman from the book of Esther.  They (Persians)have 2500 years of history with dreams of destroying Jews.  When we see the words ISRAEL and DAMASCUS in the same article we usually post it  because it’s such a crystal clear prophecy that Damascus will be totally destroyed and uninhabitable and the Jews will be responsible for making it that way while defending themselves.  Some years ago I saw an article about some Syrian scientists who were killed making chemical weapons.  The paper interviewed an Israeli General of the Northern Command and he said, “If we even see so much as a dead dog killed by chemical weapons, Damascus will be gone!”

DAMASCUS, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Syria said Israeli forces launched simultaneous missile attacks on the airports in its capital Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo on Thursday, damaging the runways and putting both hubs out of service.

A Syrian military source cited by state news agency SANA said "bursts of missiles" hit the two airports at the same time, in what he said was a bid to distract the world's attention from Israel's war with Hamas militants in Gaza.

The Israeli military said it does not comment on such reports.

Israel has for years carried out strikes against what it has described as Iran-linked targets in Syria, including against the Aleppo and Damascus airports.

Sources have said strikes on the airports are intended to disrupt Iranian supply lines to Syria, where Tehran's influence has grown since it began supporting President Bashar al-Assad in the civil war that started in 2011.

Hamas Beheaded Their Jewish Victims

 This isn’t a war. It’s Satan-filled men satisfying their bloodlust.  The fact that there are Americans, like Muslim Ilhan Omar, who are trying to justify this behavior is reprehensible.

Not since Holocaust Have So Many Jews Been Killed in One Day

Satan and his minions want to kill Jews.  Always have, always will, until he’s put in the abyss for 1000 years and after that thrown into the lake of fire.  He hates them with a fury that only Satan can muster and he uses Muslims, Nazis, White Supremacy and even LGBTQ to show the hatred of Jews and the misplaced fondness for the Arabs of Palestine.  The images of little kids and women being butchered should be allowed to sear into everyone’s minds as the product of evil.  We read that Hamas is planning public executions of the Jewish hostages and it wouldn’t surprise me as these folks of Hamas come from the same evil stew as Al Qiada, Taliban and ISIS.  Israel will never be destroyed once brought back.  That’s a promise from God but it will never go well for the Jews until the millennial reign of Christ.

 As president of the State of Israel, I speak to you now from our capital city Jerusalem under the dark shadow of war, as my nation continues to endure a savage attack from a cruel and inhumane enemy. To my mind, not since the Holocaust have so many Jews been killed in one day. And not since the Holocaust have we witnessed scenes of Jewish women and children, grandparents—even Holocaust survivors—being herded into trucks and taken into captivity.

First, most importantly, make clear and loud condemnations of Hamas’s actions. Just as you condemned the abhorrent and unspeakable actions of ISIS because today, they are one and the same.

Second, those nations that have yet to do so: Designate Hamas in its entirety as a terrorist body.

Third, make clear that Hamas carries full responsibility and accountability for the well-being of the hostages it has taken and demand their immediate return to Israel.

And fourth, support Israel—in words and in deeds.

Israel for its part will continue to defend itself. The government of Israel, Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu, the IDF and all the Israeli security agencies have my full support. We will act with full force and unwavering commitment to eliminate this threat to our people. We will pursue all those who perpetrate and support such grievous acts against us.

I know the Israeli spirit will overcome. Unfortunately and sadly, there are hundreds of bereaved families all around the country and thousands of injured being treated in hospitals around the country. Today and yesterday, I met some of the wounded in Asaf HaRofeh Shamir Hospital and Beersheva’s Soroka Medical Center, some of the best medical centers in the world.

If you ever want to witness the great spirit of my nation, the great spirit of the nation of Israel, you can see it in hospitals and elsewhere around the country. You will find a people united and committed to prevail, together, and come out victorious.

Let there be no mistake by any in the region who may consider operating against Israel. Israel is a very strong country and will employ all its might and strength to defend itself and its people.

I pray for the swift and full recovery of the injured, I pray for the bereaved families, and I pray for the wellbeing of those taken hostage. And through all this, with the solidarity and support of our brothers and sisters in Jewish communities all around the world, with our friends and allies all around the world, I know that Israel will emerge stronger, more resilient and united.

Surging Methane Levels on Earth Suggest a Termination Event is Coming

It’s either global warming, global cooling or climate change.  No matter what science is convinced we are heading for a termination event.  That sure sounds serious.  To almost all scientists the earth is billions of years old.  But let’s remember than when God created Adam he created a mature man.  So if you met Adam the day after he was created you could ask how old he was and he would truthfully say he was 1 day old.  You wouldn’t believe him because you know he had to be at least 25 years old.  In the same way a tree that looked 300 years old would be one day old.  So when they say “about 2.5 million years ago...” they really have no idea what really happened when God created it all.

 The past 17 years have seen some unusual rises in levels of methane gas in Earth’s atmosphere – and this surge might be a messenger for something bigger, according to new research. It’s not certain what this methane increase means exactly, but scientists argue it’s reminiscent of past “termination events" in Earth’s climate system that have ended ice ages. 

Earth’s climate constantly swings between long and cold glacial periods – often called ice ages – where vast ice sheets cover northern Europe and Canada, and shorter inter-glacial periods of warmer temperatures. This happens on a giant timescale of thousands upon thousands of years, much longer than a human lifespan.

The end of these ice ages is known as a glacial termination, an overhaul of Earth’s ocean-atmosphere system that marks the transition from a glacial-to-interglacial period. This is another lengthy process that typically takes thousands of years. 

Currently, we are in an interglacial stage of an ice age called the Quaternary Ice Age, which began around 2.5 million years ago and continues today. However, there are hints that some kind of change could be brewing. Looking at Earth’s methane levels, there are some indications that we might be in the early days of a “termination-like” pattern.

He concluded: “Roman numerals IX to I denote past great climate transitions. There is no Roman number zero, but then any future termination-scale transition will be different – a temperature step from our present interglacial climate to some new future that is warmer yet. Methane’s signal is still unclear, but the question remains: has Termination Zero begun?”

People in America Gather to Celebrate Hamas Attack

You can read this for yourselves.  There is a certain evil that penetrates.  Even the scenes of woman and children murdered by Hamas won't stop certain folks from celebrating.

Terrorists slaughter innocent people to strike fear in the hearts of their enemies. They also do it to inspire their allies at home and abroad.

On Saturday, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel killing hundreds and wounding thousands. An unknown number of hostages were taken, according to CNN.

Considered a terrorist organization by the U.S., Hamas controls the Gaza Strip, a densely populated coastal Palestinian enclave. Iran is a state sponsor of Hamas, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The wholesale slaughter of innocents should be universally condemned by all civilized peoples. But it’s not. The attack on Israel, which included thousands of rockets, is a cause for celebration for some.

It would seem one could support Palestine and condemn Hamas. To conflate Palestine with Hamas, however, is not only troubling, it’s also dangerous. In the U.S. some groups are doing just that. In New York City, “Pro-Palestinian groups applaud Hamas terror onslaught,” according to the Times of Israel.  They’re also planning “support rallies.”

A chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America called for “solidarity with the Palestinian people and their right to resist.” Other pro-Palestinian groups such as Within Our Lifetime, Samidoun, Decolonize This Place and Al-Awda, are planning rallies in New York on Sunday and Monday “to defend the heroic Palestinian resistance.”

Within Our Lifetime was blunt with the assertion, “Supporting Palestinian liberation is supporting whatever means necessary it takes to get there. Freedom has only ever been achieved through resistance,” according to the Times of Israel.

Israel Under Attack

I’m sure by now you have seen the images of Israel being bombed, women and children murdered and others kidnapped.  Hamas made a huge incursion into Israel and reports are hundreds killed.  Israel declared war yesterday.  It’s interesting that Hamas calls the attack “the Al Aqsa Flood”.  As you know the Al Aqsa mosque sits on the Temple Mount and is God’s second hand on God’s timing for the Last Days.  The Jews wants the 3rd Temple built there and are raising their voices, the funds, the red heifers and training the priests.  Watch closely and see what God is going to do with these prophetic happenings.  And don’t be surprised if Jesus were to come for us soon. “But you brothers, are not children of the darkness that this day should surprise you like a thief.  You are all children of the day!”

 The horror, the evil, the pain. It is more than we can bear. Parents and children, are slaughtered. Elderly people and their nurses, are slaughtered. Teenagers at an outdoor party, slaughtered. 

For those who are far away, who may not grasp the enormity of this horror – this is Israel’s 9/11. 

Frankly, I don’t have the strength to write more about the war crimes being perpetrated on my fellow Jews as I write this. Please see here to better understand the situation.

Throughout Israel, sons and fathers are running to war. The situation is so dire that men in their forties are being called up to action. Yesterday, I stood on my porch watching mothers and wives all over my neighborhood hug their sons and husbands with tears in their eyes, as they rushed from their homes to join their units for battle.

Everyone has a loved one at the front. Some of my friends’ children have been wounded, and others are missing. We are living in a nightmare.

Israel is in crisis, in a way many of us have never experienced in our lifetimes. And we desperately need your help.

It’s no longer enough to be passively “pro-Israel.” We are in desperate times, when we need those who stand for good and for truth to stand up and ACT. Please, do not be silent. We need your help, and we need it now.
