Most Agree That Life Begins at Conception

It’s so obvious WHEN new life begins.  You need to be willfully ignorant to argue anything else. One pro-abortion guy I recently debated said it was only a baby after you could see it’s fingers and toes and see for yourself that it was a human being? What??  Has a human woman ever given birth to a dolphin or a kitten? Nope!  When a woman is pregnant the whole world knows she is pregnant with another human being.

A University of Chicago Ph.D. student recently defended a dissertation in which he asked thousands of biologists when life begins. A large majority of the biologists he surveyed, even those who are committed to the pro-choice position, said human life begins at conception.

Steven Jacobs undertook his research for his dissertation in the Department of Comparative Human Development. The research took him five grueling years and roused the ire of many academics, who, according to the college fix, accused him of academic dishonesty, claimed he politicized science, and compared him to the Ku Klux Klan.

Jacobs wanted to bring fact-based research into the debate over abortion in an effort to move the debate past the question of when life begins and into other questions by showing that there is already a scholarly consensus on when life begins. He told the Daily Wire that he wanted to “produce research that can become a contribution to a contentious debate that is harming our body politic” and to “help people become informed so that the competition of ideas can take place on a level playing field.”

Jacobs began his work by asking 2,899 American adults which group who be “most qualified to answer the question of when a human’s life begins.” 81% of those he surveyed said biologists would be most qualified to answer the question.

House Chaplain Casts Out Demons

The Roman Catholic Priest prayed specifically to cast out the demons inside Capitol Hill. 

As reported by Fox News, Rev. Conroy said, "This has been a difficult and contentious week in which darker spirits seem to have been at play in the people’s House." 

Then, in a dramatic moment, Conroy raised both hands and said, 'In Your most holy name, I cast out all spirits of darkness from this chamber. Spirits not from You. I cast out the spirit of discouragement which deadens the hope of those who are of goodwill.'" 

"I cast out the spirit of petty divisiveness which clouds the sense and the desire to be of fruitful productivity and addressing the issues more appropriately before this House," he prayed. "I cast out any sadness brought on by the frustration of dealing with matters detrimental to the honorable work each member has been called to engage in."

Rev. Conroy is a Jesuit priest, an order of the Catholic Church. He has been serving as House Chaplain since 2011. He attempted to resign in 2018, but, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle asked him not to. He withdrew his resignation.

It’s Time to Stay Awake

The night before the crucifixion, Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane. He went to be alone and pray. But before He did, Jesus asked the apostles to stay up and pray with Him. He warned them not to fall asleep. Nevertheless, they did. They were finally awakened when soldiers arrived to arrest Jesus.

In a similar way, Jesus warned us not to be caught sleeping when He returns (Mark 13:36). To illustrate, He told a story of ten bridesmaids. Of the ten bridesmaids, five were foolish and five were wise. The five foolish bridesmaids didn’t take enough oil for their lamps when they went to wait for the bridegroom. When they left to buy more oil, the bridegroom came and they missed out on the marriage feast. Jesus warned us not to be like the foolish bridesmaids. He said, “You, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return” (Matthew 25:1-13).

In another parable, Jesus once again commanded us to watch: “You, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know when the master of the household will return. It could be evening, midnight, dawn, or daybreak. Don’t let the master find you sleeping when he arrives without warning” (Mark 13:35-37).

Personally, I’ve written about the nearness of the Second Coming for over 13 years. Obviously Jesus didn’t return in those 13 years, but none of the reasons to expect His return have gone away. In fact, the opposite is true. The reasons to expect Jesus to return at any moment have markedly increased. Yet to great amazement, many Christians seem more complacent and ignorant of the signs than ever. Why? I don’t know. But I’ll continue to sound the alarm, and you should too. The Bible says if we recognize the signs and don’t tell others about them, we’re no different than a watchman who sees an invading army and doesn’t sound the alarm. If we fail in our role as watchmen, God says He will hold us accountable for all those who perish (Ezekiel 33:1-6).

All the signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for are present right now. For almost 2,000 years, no Christian could say that. Our generation is an eyewitness to signs previous Christians could only dream about. If the signs are telling us the Tribulation and the Second Coming are near, then it means the rapture is even closer. Don’t fall asleep, and don’t let anyone around you fall asleep. It’s never been more important to stay awake. Jesus is coming!

Europe to Ignore Iran Until Nuke Falls On Them

Israel's prime minister has said the European Union might not wake up to the threat of Iran "until Iranian nuclear missiles fall on European soil". 

Mr Netanyahu likened Europe's approach to Iran's recent breaches of a 2015 deal limiting its nuclear programme to the appeasement of Nazi Germany. 

He spoke after EU foreign ministers said the breaches were not significant.

Iran says they are a response to reinstated US sanctions, but insists it is not trying to build nuclear weapons.

It has threatened to return to the situation before the nuclear deal was agreed unless Europe does more to mitigate the effects of the sanctions. They have caused its oil exports to collapse and its economy to plunge into recession.

The EU has set up a mechanism for facilitating legitimate trade without direct financial transactions. However, Iran has said it does not meet its needs.

Remember that Satan wants all the Jews dead so that he can break prophecy and thwart God's word.

At the very end of the Great Tribulation, the surviving Jews will realize they have been had by the Antichrist and will cry our for Jesus to save them.

So Satan correctly figures if there are no Jews to cry out to Jesus, then God will be a liar.

And sadly his current pawns used in this scheme are the millions of Muslims who are are born, raised and paid to hate and kill Jews.

Swedes Get Chip Implant to go Cashless

The Bible tells us that one day all the people on planet earth will need a MARK on their body in order to buy or sell anything.  For the last 2000 years people have been reading Revelation wondering how in the world that could be possible.

But today it's just daily news and yet very few people have any idea of the prophetic significance of what is taking place before their very eyes.

Thousands of people in Sweden are having futuristic microchips implanted into their skin to carry out everyday activities and replace credit cards and cash.

More than 4,000 people have already had the sci-fi-ish chips, about the size of a grain of rice, inserted into their hands — with the pioneers predicting millions will soon join them as they hope to take it global.

“It’s very ‘Black Mirror,’” Swedish scientist Ben Libberton told The Post of the similarity to the TV series highlighting futuristic scenarios.

“People have shown they’re happy to give up privacy for convenience,” he said. “The chip is very convenient, so could we accept our data being shared very widely before we know the risks?”

The trend coincides with Sweden’s march toward going cashless, with notes and coins making up just 1 percent of Sweden’s economy. At the same time, the country has seen a dramatic decrease in some crimes — with just two bank robberies last year compared to 110 in 2008.

Negative Interest Rates Could Cause a "Black Hole" in the Bond Market

We have been blogging about this topic for the last 5 years but we see some serious problems in the global financial system.

The Bible tells us that our current system will need to collapse to make way for a new cashless system...one that will require a mark for anyone that wants to buy or sell anything.

When America hits another recession, the FED may be forced into lowering interest rates BELOW ZERO.  Than means that they will CHARGE YOU to hold your money at the bank.  If you are retired and have $100k sitting in a 1 year CD currently paying you 2% that's only $2,000 per year but imagine if they charge you $1000 per year (1% negative interest) to hold your money?  Many Americans would choose to go to the bank and take out their money and put it in their gun safe.

This would cause a run on the bank.  Since America is the ONLY reserve currency on planet earth, this could cause a crisis in confidence that would spread across the entire globe.

And since our whole financial system is based on "THE FULL FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN THE U.S. GOVERNMENT"....the confidence could dry up like a puddle in the dessert.

Now that it looks like sub-zero bonds are here to stay, there’s even more hand-wringing about the effects for mom-and-pop savers, pensioners, investors, buyout firms and governments.

1. Why invest in a bond that will lose you money?

Typically, bonds are the safest assets on the market, so many investors seek them out at times of heightened market stress, say a U.S.-China trade war or tensions in the Persian Gulf. A bond can have a modestly positive coupon when issued by a government, institution or company, but once it starts trading, high demand by investors can push its price up -- and therefore its yield down -- to such an extent that buyers no longer receive any payment. Some funds track government bond indexes, meaning they must buy the bonds regardless of the yield. And some investors can still make positive returns on these bonds when adjusted for currency swings.

2. How much is being bought?

Negative-yielding debt topped $13 trillion in June, having doubled since December, and now makes up around 25% of global debt. In Germany, 85% of the government bond market is under water. That means investors effectively pay the German government 0.2% for the privilege of buying its benchmark bonds; the government keeps 2 euros for every 1,000 euros borrowed over a period of 10 years. The U.S. is one of the few outliers, with none of its $16 trillion debt pile yielding less than zero, but across the world, strategists are warning that the problem may get worse.

3. Why is this reason for worry?

Negative rates are at odds with basic principles of the global finance system. “One important law of financial logic –- if you lend money for longer, you should see a higher return –- has been broken,” wrote Marcus Ashworth, a Bloomberg Opinion columnist covering European markets. “The time value of money has essentially disappeared.” (Has it ever: The so-called century bonds issued by Austria two years ago, which mature in 2117 and initially offered a 2.1% return, now yield about 1.2%.) All this can push investors into riskier bets in the hunt for returns, raising the chances of bubbles in financial markets and real estate.

The world is being shaped to enter the Great Tribulation.  To me, this is just one other sign of the closeness of this major event.

We don't know the day or the hour of our Lord's return but we shouldn't be surprised at His coming if read the Bible at the same time we are reading the daily headlines.
