Woman of the Year is a Man

 Anyone who hasn't been taken over by the delusion that has infected the USA can clearly see the delusion that others have succumbed to.  The man pictured below was just named Woman of the Year.  Meet Dr Rachel Levine.  She's one of Biden's picks and serves as the assistant secretary for health in the Department of Health and Human Services,

  

And the man above is now the top woman's swimmer in America.  The NCAA Woman's Champion!

It's very comical if it wasn't so very sad.  I feel really bad for the girls who have trained their entire lives to be the best they can be IN COMPARISON TO OTHER GIRLS, but have zero chance of beating a man in their sport of choice.  What's tragic is that the "woke" folks who applaud this delusion are going to totally kill Title 9 which gave women the chance to compete in sports.

If the world becomes so woke that one day they say, "There are only people.  There are no measurable genders so from now on only the best PEOPLE will make the team!"  Then women will basically be excluded from all sporting competitions.  We all know that a team of 14 yr old soccer boys beat the USA Women's Olympic Team...and they were considered the best in the world!!  We also know that most High School Boys Basketball teams could run circles around any teams in the WNBA.  The pro women scream for equal pay as the men but why should they have equal pay when they aren't even close in equal ability?

One final observation....America will NEVER go back to the way things were.  We will NEVER make gay marriage illegal.  We will NEVER treat transgenderism as a mental illness.  We will NEVER acknowledge that God created humans as male and female.

We are in now in full, open rebellion to the Creator of the universe.  This won't end well for the rebels.

Zelenskyy Hilights Global Desire for a "Savior"

 We are pretty amazed at how fast the Left and Right came together to demonize Putin while at the same time worshipping Zelenskyy.  Putin sounds like an evil animal who seems to have little problem with the images of dead children in bombed apartments coming out of Ukraine.  But is Zelenskyy the actual hero that the world is saying?  Or could he be just another harbinger of the coming "man with a plan" that the entire world gets around following the rapture?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has garnered much praise over the past few weeks for his strong leading of the Ukrainians amid invasion from Russia and his refusal to go into hiding despite Russian assassination attempts. The now seemingly famous line is, “I need Ammunition, not a ride.”

Ukraine is in great need of support. Russia is mercilessly attacking them under the dark and scheming leadership of an emboldened Vladimir Putin bent on war. 

Respect for Zelenskyy’s actions was and is warranted. As a Christian, seeing a leader take a hands-on approach in war has brought to mind Biblical accounts of kings accompanying their armies into battle, a way of doing things that has been long lost in the modern age.

However, as the world’s praise has risen to an out-of-control level and information about his ties to the World Economic Forum emerged, a point was reached in which many Christians began to become cautious about the Ukrainian leader.

To understand the reason for this concern, we need to go back to the Bible, which describes a future leader of a global government that will emerge and be viewed as a savior of the world. Scripture refers to Him as the lawless one, and the “anti-Christ” (Rev. 13, Daniel 7, 9:27, 2 Thes. 2, 1 John 2:18).

In a recent “Prophecy Roundtable” alongside Amir Tsarfati, Barry Stagner, and Mike Golay, Jan Markell stated that amid a vacuum of leadership in the world, Zelenskyy might be a person Christians should cautiously keep their eye on. 

“Right now, the world lacks a leader. We don’t have a leader in our White House. We don’t have a leader in Europe, really. I believe the world is longing for somebody that they can look to as a hero, a Mr. Fix-it,” she explained. “Along comes a very obscure person; actually, he was an actor at one time, and in the last three years, he became Ukraine’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a very intriguing fellow. I’m very captivated by him, and I think the world is captivated by him as well.”

“There’s talk that he’s an antichrist candidate; we don’t know that,” she underscored. “Look, people said Emmanuel Macron was an antichrist candidate, and he’s sinking in the sunset really fast, so I think we have to be careful of even saying things like that.”

Who the Antichrist will be is a mystery and will remain a mystery in the time prior to the Rapture of the Church; therefore, too much speculation is largely un-useful and stirs dangerous conjecture.

We 100% agree that followers of Christ should be watching for Jesus Christ and not the Antichrist.  It's just harmless conjecture to watch Macron and Zelenskyy both rise in the "vegas odds" as candidates for title of "Antichrist" if the rapture were to happen today.  We should always be warry of anyone who says, "This is the antichrist!", because the Bible seems clear that he won't be revealed until after the rapture.

Petrodollar Cracks. Saudis Consider Selling Oil in Yuans

 We have blogged numerous times on the huge benefit of USA owning the printing press to the world’s only reserve currency.  It’s a privilege that no other modern nation has ever had.  It allows us to live way beyond our means and literally print the money for anything we want.  One situation has helped to allow this.  Most of the worlds oil is sold using US dollars.  This props up the demand for the currency.  And demand for something gives it value.  But one day that could all change.  When faith and confidence in the US Government wanes, so will the value of the US Dollar.

One of the core staples of the past 40 years, and an anchor propping up the dollar's reserve status, was a global financial system based on the petrodollar - this was a world in which oil producers would sell their product to the US (and the rest of the world) for dollars, which they would then recycle the proceeds in dollar-denominated assets and while investing in dollar-denominated markets, explicitly prop up the USD as the world reserve currency, and in the process backstop the standing of the US as the world's undisputed financial superpower.

One day after we reported that the "UK is asking Saudis for more oil even as MBS invites Xi Jinping to Riyadh to strengthen ties", the WSJ is out with a blockbuster report, noting that "Saudi Arabia is in active talks with Beijing to price its some of its oil sales to China in yuan," a move that could cripple not only the petrodollar’s dominance of the global petroleum market - something which Zoltan Pozsar predicted in his last note - and mark another shift by the world’s top crude exporter toward Asia, but also a move aimed squarely at the heart of the US financial system which has taken advantage of the dollar's reserve status by printing as much dollars as needed to fund government spending for the past decade.

According to the report, the talks with China over yuan-priced oil contracts have been off and on for six years but have accelerated this year as the Saudis have grown increasingly unhappy with decades-old U.S. security commitments to defend the kingdom.

The Saudis are angry over the U.S.’s lack of support for their intervention in the Yemen civil war, and over the Biden administration’s attempt to strike a deal with Iran over its nuclear program. Saudi officials have said they were shocked by the precipitous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan last year.

China buys more than 25% of the oil that Saudi Arabia exports, and if priced in yuan, those sales would boost the standing of China’s currency, and set the Chinese currency on a path to becoming a global petroyuan reserve currency.

As even the WSJ admits, a shift to a (petro)yuan system, "would be a profound shift for Saudi Arabia to price even some of its roughly 6.2 million barrels of day of crude exports in anything other than dollars" as the majority of global oil sales—around 80%—are done in dollars, and the Saudis have traded oil exclusively in dollars since 1974, in a deal with the Nixon administration that included security guarantees for the kingdom. It appears that the Saudis no longer care much about US "security guarantees" and instead are switching their allegiance to China.

Wholesale Prices Have Largest Rise Ever Recorded

 As you know we love headlines that report with the words EVER and NEVER.  As we watch gasoline, food, cars and everything else we buy get more expensive, we see this headline and realize that what we are seeing is real.

Wholesale prices soar 10% in February, highest level on record

Wholesale prices accelerated again in February as strong consumer demand and pandemic-related supply chain snarls continued to fuel the highest inflation in decades.

The Labor Department said Tuesday that its producer price index, which measures inflation at the wholesale level before it reaches consumers, surged 10% in February from the year-ago period. On a monthly basis, prices grew by 0.8% – a slight slowdown from January, when the gauge spiked by 1.2%. 

Economists surveyed by Refinitiv expected producer inflation to rise by 10% on an annual basis and 0.9% from the previous month.

Core inflation at the wholesale level, which excludes the more volatile measurements of food and energy, increased 0.2% for the month, following a 0.8% increase in January. Over the past 12 months, core prices were up 6.6%.

Gasoline prices, which soared 14.8% in the month, accounted for nearly 40% of the February increase. Overall, prices for goods jumped 2.4% last month, while prices for services remained the same.

We continue to believe that followers of Christ are not going to witness a total meltdown of the financial system.  People are going to continue eating, drinking, marrying, giving in marriage, planting and building things up until the time Jesus snatches His bride from the earth.  So either this current trend it going to be restrained supernaturally or maybe Jesus is coming for His bride real soon?

The Great Reset is Coming

Israeli Energy May Soon Start Flowing to Europe

 Ezekiel 38 hints that when Russia prepares to attack Israel with all the hordes joining them, that people will ask if they are doing it to seek treasure or booty?  So here would be a great reason for Russia to want to do this.  Europe has boycotted Russian gas and now Israel might step in to fill the void.  This would certainly anger Putin.

In light of the fact that Israel has a large amount of natural gas and in the wake of its ability to supply it in the immediate term thanks to the activities of some of the reservoirs, the Ministry of Energy has recently begun examining an initial request from the EU to allocate quotas of gas to the continent, Channel 13 News reported on Thursday.

According to the report, the EU’s appeal to Israel comes amid a shortage of natural gas that could be generated in Europe as a result of the embargo and a boycott of Russia's energy resources. European officials hope that Israeli gas exports will help overcome at least some of the shortages.

The government has already begun to examine the plan, and it may be necessary to make a decision in the coming weeks and even change existing decisions regarding the permitted quota of gas exports to Europe.
