Methodists Look Like They Are Going to Split

The Methodists been falling over a cliff for the past 30 years and now maybe some of them got wisdom from fearing The Lord and realized that condoning sinful behavior from people who CLAIM to be Christ followers...is anti-scriptural.

The United Methodist Church pulled off a surprise, no, make that a shocking upset over the forces of spiritual darkness by voting NO on the proposed pro-LGBTQP ‘One Church Plan‘ at meetings that lasted over the weekend and into the past few days. But that victory, tenuous as it may be, comes at the cost of a huge church split right down the middle. Watchers on both sides are predicting a mass exodus of pro-LGBTQP people by the time all the dust from this battle settles.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:3-5 (KJV)

Now granted, the UMC has not been, since the days of John Wesley, anything remotely resembling a real Bible believing church. Their own Book of Discipline says that the “United Methodist Church is part of the holy catholic church…”. But even so, this vote was very, very surprising. Especially to the forces of the LGBTQP who thought for sure this would be a slam-dunk for their agenda.

If you would have said to me 28 years ago when I first got saved, that I would live to see the day where the homosexual and transsexual movement would battle for control of the heart and soul of the professing Christian church, I would have said you were nuts. Stark raving mad. This is still the Church Age, after all, not even the Tribulation! But boy, oh boy, are we being pressed right up against that edge. That can only mean one thing as I see it.

Conservative Christians Just Retook the United Methodist Church
FROM THE ATLANTIC: At a special conference in St. Louis this week, convened specifically to address divisions over LGBTQ issues, members voted to toughen prohibitions on same-sex marriage and LGBTQ clergy. This was a surprise: The denomination’s bishops, its top clergy, pushed hard for a resolution that would have allowed local congregations, conferences, and clergy to make their own choices about conducting same-sex marriages and ordaining LGBTQ pastors. This proposal, called the “One Church Plan,” was designed to keep the denomination together. Methodist delegates rejected its recommendations, instead choosing the so-called Traditional Plan, which affirmed the denomination’s teachings against homosexuality.

This is a consequential vote for the future of the United Methodist Church: Many progressive churches will now almost certainly consider leaving the denomination. It’s also a reminder that many Christian denominations, including mainline groups such as the UMC, are still deeply divided over questions of sexuality and gender identity. While the UMC in the United States is roughly evenly divided between those who identify as traditionalists and those who identify as moderates and liberals, it is also a global organization. Many of the growing communities in the Philippines or countries in Africa are committed to theological teachings against same-sex relationships and marriages.

Do you remember how Paul wrote to Timothy and warned him about people who claimed to be followers of Christ but are actually something else? 

Now look at lots of folks in the Methodist, Lutheran and Catholic religions.  They have the robes, they have the Theological Degrees, they have been ordained...so they have a FORM of Godliness....but they are void of the power of the Holy Spirit.  They refuse to love God's word and instead choose to pick and choose things from the Bible that THEY think should or shouldn't be there.

As we reflect on this desire they have to deny the Word of God, we are reminded what Satan said when he first spoke to Eve in the garden, "Did God REALLY say...?

Paul then exhorts us with what we are to do with people who call themselves brothers and sisters of ours in Christ....but really don't believe in the full council of scripture.  Have nothing to do with them.

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Netanyahu to be Indicted

This is pretty big news that has been brewing for some time.  Author Joel Rosenberg weighs in.

(Jerusalem, Israel) -- After months of rumors that it was coming, a thermonuclear legal and political bomb hit today.

Israel's Attorney General is moving ahead with indicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in three separate cases involving corruption and bribery.

Netanyahu insists he is innocent and will be vindicated.

Friends of the Prime Minister are calling the indictments "a political hit job." 

It should be noted that a previous Israeli Prime Minister -- Ehud Olmert -- was indicted while in office. His government coalition unraveled. He was forced to step down as premier. He was eventually convicted and sent to prison.

Several years before that, a former Israeli President -- Moshe Katsav -- was also indicted, removed from office, convicted and sent to prison.

It's far too early to say how these cases will play out legally. But the political stakes could not be much higher for Netanyahu personally, and for his Likud party.

"In a move that drastically shakes up Israeli politics less than six weeks before general elections, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit decided Thursday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be charged with criminal wrongdoing in three separate cases against him, including bribery in the far-reaching Bezeq corruption probe, pending a hearing," reports the Times of Israel.

Record Breaking Preemie Baby Goes Home

Abortion talk is all in the news again this week as the Democrats try and decide what should happen if an abortion goes foul and the baby is delivered.  Should the doctor now have to try and save the baby's life?  Or should he be able to "finish the job" and kill the baby...since that's what he started to do in the first place?

The confused women who support killing babies as THEIR RIGHT force themselves to believe that the baby in them is part of THEIR BODY so they should be able to destroy it just like they would have a tumor removed or decide to have their uterus removed.

But science just keeps chipping away at their evil ideas.  First we came up with a sonogram which allowed ladies to see a beating heart and the outline of the tiny little baby.  Then when we came up with 3-D graphics and tiny cameras we all could see with 100% certainty that this lump in a pregnant woman's belly WAS A BABY!!  It's not a giraffe, or baby lion or baby monkey...it's a HUMAN BEING that deserves a right to live in America and pursue happiness.

Now science has taken one step further and they are able to keep preemie babies alive from an ever younger age.

A baby born in Tokyo weighing the same as a large onion has gone home healthy. The tiny tot weighed just 268 grams — under 10 ounces — when he was delivered at 24 weeks, reportedly after he stopped growing in the womb.


He was so small he fit in an adult's cupped hands.

Keio University Hospital said the boy is believed to now hold the record for the smallest newborn boy to be discharged from a hospital in good health. The record was previously held by a boy born in Germany in 2009 weighing just 274 grams (9.6 ounces), the hospital said, citing a registry put together by University of Iowa for the world's tiniest surviving babies.

After five months of treatment, the boy now weighs just over 7 pounds, is feeding normally and has been discharged, Keio University Hospital said. He was discharged last week, two months after his initial due date, local media said.

"I can only say I'm happy that he has grown this big because honestly, I wasn't sure he could survive," the boy's mother said.

Of course if the baby had lived in the belly of a woman in certain states in America, she would have been allowed to legally have the baby killed. 

It certainly doesn't look like a lump of cells.  It looks like a baby.

Of course abortion enthusiasts want to tell us to look away and that the baby is really only a lump of cells...no different than a tumor or some other mass that has grown in their bodies

Pope Kisses Imam on Mouth to Confirm “Peace Document”

‘This Document, in accordance with previous International Documents that have emphasized the importance of the role of religions in the construction of world peace’

Back in 2015, when Pope Francis addressed the United Nations, he said a very unusual thing. Speaking to the General Assembly, the Catholic leader said that he had come ‘in my own name‘ to speak with them. Huh?? I thought that the “holy father” was the ‘Vicar of Christ‘, and was the representative of Jesus Christ on the earth? The Bible tells us, of course, that the pope is no such thing, but the Catholic Church says that he is, right? So why on Earth did he not say that he had come ‘in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth’?

“But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:42,43 (KJV)

Flash-forward to February 2019, and the same pope is signing a ‘peace covenant‘ with the leader of Sunni Islam, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb. Not only does this document make multiple references to assembling all the world’s religions, it references God in only a generic sense. There are no Bible verses quoted or referred to, no connection between the word ‘god’ and Abraham, Moses, or any of the other Bible patriarchs. Why would the Catholic Church, which claims to be the ‘true church’ only refer to God generically? Simple. Because the document does not invoke or refer to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob found in the Holy Bible, it refers to the generic ‘god’ of Islam, otherwise known as Allah. Which is to say no God at all.

But wait…catch your breath…there’s more. A lot more. And did you notice that the pope is kissing the Imam on the mouth? Isn’t that how Judas, who is both a type of Antichrist as well as the coming Antichrist, betrayed Jesus?

The Vatican document, as you can see here, is quite lengthy, and is packed with tons of information. It’s filled with exactly the type of verbiage you would expect from someone who was here to either prepare the way for Antichrist or was the Antichrist himself. 13 times (13 is the number of rebellion and connected with the Devil) the phrase ‘In the name of ‘ is used in this end times peace covenant. 13 times! And would you like to take a wild, crazy guess in Whose Name that nothing is addressed to? Not one time? If you said ‘Jesus Christ’, you would be 100% correct.

“God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” Psalm 47:8 (KJV)

Here’s the reason why nothing is addressed to Jesus. Pope Francis signs the document with ‘His Holiness, Pope Francis’, and what does that tell you? A quick word search in your King James Bible on the word ‘holiness’ will answer that question for you. The pope is not only representing that he sits in place of Jesus Christ, but I submit to you that Pope Francis sees himself as the messiah. The pope also refers to himself as ‘holy father’, right? That term only occurs one time in the Bible, and it is reference to God and God alone.

“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.” John 17:11 (KJV)

Now, lest you think I am overstating the case, here is but a small snippet from the Vatican’s ‘universal peace’ document:

THE FIRM CONVICTION THAT AUTHENTIC TEACHINGS OF RELIGIONS INVITE US TO REMAIN ROOTED IN THE VALUES OF PEACE; TO DEFEND THE VALUES OF MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING, HUMAN FRATERNITY AND HARMONIOUS COEXISTENCE; TO RE-ESTABLISH WISDOM, JUSTICE AND LOVE; AND TO REAWAKEN RELIGIOUS AWARENESS AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE SO THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS MAY BE PROTECTED FROM THE REALM OF MATERIALISTIC THINKING AND FROM DANGEROUS POLICIES OF UNBRIDLED GREED AND INDIFFERENCE THAT ARE BASED ON THE LAW OF FORCE AND NOT ON THE FORCE OF LAW;

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

If you have studied any prophecy at all related to the upcoming time of Jacob’s trouble, spent any time at all in either Daniel 9 or Matthew 24, then you know exactly what type of language that is. That is the end times language of Antichrist and his coming false peace. This pathetic ‘peace covenant’ between the Vatican and Islam is a nice little appetizer to the main course of the coming prophesied false peace that Antichrist will broker between Israel and the Palestinians. Count on it.

Digisexuals

FROM THE DAILY STAR UK: Research by academics Neil McArthur and Markie Twist, who co-authored a paper titled “The Rise of Digisexuality”, suggests the trend is becoming more commonplace. These digisexuals are forgoing humans in favour of intimate, and even sexual, relationships with advanced computer software and lifelike robots, according to Markie and McArthur.

One digisexual Akihiko Kondo, a 35-year-old school administrator who married a virtual reality singer in Japan, deems himself to be sexual minority facing discrimination. For those who identity as digisexuals, Markie and MacArthur believe they may be resistance akin to the pushback against other sexual minorities such as homo, trans, and bisexuals.

Pressuring for human rights protections could be one way in which digisexuals attempt to achieve recognition.

The campaign, it seems, has already begun online. “I think we are moving towards a system that grants broad sexual freedom and recognises the value of alternative sexual identities in general,” Dr McArthur, a philosophy professor at the University of Manitoba, told Daily Star Online.

“Canada and the Nordic countries are the leaders at this but the rest of Europe and America are not far behind.”

Markie, a sex education expert and family studies professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, said digisexuals could “possibly” start to agitate for equality of recognition and rights in the same way other sexual identities have.

She said some people “are also fighting in anticipation for robots to have rights as well”.

India-Pakistan War Heats Up

Let's remember that India and Pakistan are both nuclear powers.  Let's also remember that Pakistan is a Muslim majority country and that they have been at war with India for decades.  It's a slow war that is happening on their border WAY UP in the mountains of the Kashmirs.

But last week it heated up when a bunch of Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistani agents.

"Dennis, I could care less about India and Pakistan!  What does this have to do with me or prophecy?"

A few things. First off the headline is more signs of what Jesus told us to watch for...WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR.

It also hints of what might be coming for planet earth after the rapture if some of the parties decide to shoot nukes at each other and the earth is devastated...like maybe a third of the green grass and a third of the fresh water polluted?

World War 3: India-Pakistan war could cause NUCLEAR WINTER – 'no one is safe'

WAR between India and Pakistan could plunge temperatures to below ice age conditions, bringing a nuclear winter which would “destroy civilisation” and starve 90 percent to death.

War between India and Pakistan, the two smallest nuclear powers, could destroy civilisation, warned a physicist. Brian Toon, a Professor of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, explained his theory at a talk in February last year. Speaking at a Tedx meeting, Professor Toon claimed: “War between India and Pakistan, two of the smallest nuclear powers, with only a few hundred weapons the size of the Hiroshima bomb. We might die as unintended consequences that the Indian and Pakistani generals never even gave us a thought about. My colleagues Luke Oman and Alman Roebuck calculated the spread of smoke after a war between India and Pakistan.

“It only takes about two weeks for the smoke to cover the entire earth, and it would rise to altitudes between 20 and 50 miles above the surface, at those altitudes it never rains. The smoke would stay there for years.

“This farmer may be in Europe or in the United States, but many thousands of miles from Pakistan and India, is looking at the smoky sky above him, and down at the crops that have died in his field from lack of light and cold temperatures.”

The Fellow at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder continued: “It is estimated that in a war between India and Pakistan, that we would lose 10 to 40 percent of the yields of corn, what and rice for years afterwards because of the bad weather.

Immortal Humans?

The Bible is clear that it is appointed once for every man to die.  The only exception would be those who never die because they are alive when the rapture of the church happens.  Also there were two men who never died in the OT, Enoch and Elijah.  For this reason I believe they are going to be the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation...but I digress.

So of course the godless hope to find a way to live forever.  They do this because they have no hope for an afterlife so they are trying to figure out a way to download the information on their brains into a computer so that they can live forever.  Or they are trying to play with the chemical makeup of our bodies to try and reverse age themselves so they can live a long, long time but still look and feel much younger.

Notice how the headline paragraph says this research is "funded by the elites".  And do you suppose those elites are FOR Christ or AGAINST Christ?

Funded by elites, researchers believe they’re closer than ever to tweaking the human body so we can live forever (or quite a bit longer)

“There’s millions of people now who won’t see death if they choose,” said James Strole, the director of the Coalition of Radical Life Extension, an organization which brings together scientists and enthusiasts interested in “physical immortality”.

At present our bodies are built to last – “if you took perfect care of your body” – 125 years, according to Strole. The problem is that if someone did live to be 125, they are unlikely to remain spry into their final decades.

“Who wants to live in some decrepit state?” Strole said.

“We’ve increased lifespans a lot, but we haven’t improved quality of lifespan.”

That’s where what enthusiasts called “super longevity” comes in. A number of billionaires have pumped money into research that aims to keep people fighting fit as they age. Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page have pumped millions into Calico, a secretive health venture which aims to “solve death”. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and the billionaire Peter Thiel are backers of Unity Biotechnology, which hopes to combat the effects of aging.

The idea of never dying might sound like something from science fiction, but the experimental techniques are far removed from a brain in a jar, a body in a freezer or a heart wired up to a car battery.

Sierra Sciences is another company racing to cheat death. Its focus is on treatments that can lengthen telomeres – the “caps” at the end of each strand of DNA. Telomeres get shorter each time a cell copies itself. Because our cells copy themselves throughout our lives, the telomeres eventually get very short, and our cells cannot regenerate: we get old.

“If you can get the telomeres back to the normal state they were at when you were born, that could reduce your biological age back to 25,” Strole said.

“You wouldn’t be reversed back to a baby. You stop where maturity begins and ends.”

Among Sierra Sciences competitors is BioViva, whose CEO, Elizabeth Parrish, is so committed to the cause that she became one of the first humans to undergo telomere therapy in 2015. Writing in 2018, she claimed a measurement of her telomeres showed they had “grown younger” by roughly 30 years since she received the treatment – her body was reverse-aging.

Did you notice where they said "our bodies are built to last"?  Now read Genesis 5 and remember that the first humans WERE built to last.  Adam, Noah and others lived over 900 years.  But the problem of sin in human beings will NEVER be solved until Jesus returns.  And God was clear when he said that death will enter the world when man sins.  And it didn't take long for man to sin which caused death and started to shorten all of our lifespans. 

The elites may want to solve the problem of death but they never will.  Because they can NEVER solve the problem of sin and how it is embedded in human nature.

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

All means all.

Robot "God" Gives Sermon in Buddhist Temple

You simply can't make this stuff up!

The humanoid robot is modeled after Kannon Bodhisattva, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. The robot’s name is Mindar and it gave its first speech on the Heart Sutra, a key scripture in Buddhist teaching. The Japan Times reported that the teachings spoken by the robot offer a path to "overcome all fear, destroy all wrong perceptions and realise perfect nirvana.”

As Mindar gave its speech on the Heart Sutra and humanity, English and Chinese subtitles were projected on the wall as music played in the background.

The chief steward of the temple in Kyoto’s Higashiyama Ward Tensho Goto during a news conference said: “If an image of Buddha speaks, teachings of Buddhism will probably be easier to understand,”

He added: “We want many people to come to see the robot to think about the essence of Buddhism.”

Another official connected to the temple explained how the robot would “help people who usually have little connection with Buddhism to take an interest” in the religion.”

The Bible says in Revelation that there will be some sort of image that people will bow down to.  Today we have the technology to make that all possible...and we are the VERY FIRST GENERATION to have this technology.
