COVID Passports Coming to America?

 More evidence that Americans may soon be proving they have been vaccinated before they enter any sporting event, college, employer or Federal Government office.  Also see that Team Biden is considering whether they may require all Federal Employees to be vaccinated as a condition of employment.  Take the jab or you're fired!!

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky suggested that vaccine passport-style systems might be implemented in the United States amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

When asked in a TV interview Wednesday about whether the United States would mandate a European-style “health pass” system for nightclubs or bars, Walensky said, “That may very well be a path forward.”

The director further said that “in some fully vaccinated venues,” it “is possible” for a fully vaccinated individual to transmit and pick up COVID-19 “in those settings” and added that federal officials have “seen that” during studies.

COVID-19 is the illness caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

Her comments came after the CDC announced Tuesday it would recommend people wear masks in some areas with high transmission. Vaccinated and unvaccinated children should also wear masks when fall classes start, the CDC also said, reversing guidance issued only a few weeks ago that suggested only unvaccinated children wear masks.

Hours after the CDC issued its latest guidance, President Joe Biden told reporters that the federal government is considering mandating all federal employees to get the vaccine.

“That’s under consideration right now,” Biden told a reporter who asked whether the administration was weighing such a requirement.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday that the administration had not made a determination about whether it would be legal for Biden to require federal employees to be vaccinated. The U.S. federal government is the country’s largest employer.

Biden plans to announce “next steps” on Thursday in the effort to get more Americans to receive vaccines.

“In the meantime, more vaccinations and mask wearing in the areas most impacted by the Delta variant will enable us to avoid the kind of lockdowns, shutdowns, school closures, and disruptions we faced in 2020,” he said. “Unlike 2020, we have both the scientific knowledge and the tools to prevent the spread of this disease. We are not going back to that.”

Vaccine passport-type systems have been flagged by Republicans and civil liberties groups like the ACLU as a significant violation of individuals’ privacy. GOP-led states, led by Florida, have passed measures barring state and local governments from imposing such systems, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis went a step further in May and signed a bill prohibiting all private businesses from doing so.

When so-called “health passes” were introduced in France and Italy in recent days, thousands of people demonstrated in major European cities over the past weekend, accusing the respective governments of using tyrannical coercion measures.

France Approves Covid Passports

The French Parliament  has approved a “vaccine passport” scheme that will require citizens to procure proof of Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) injection whenever they travel domestically or eat out at a restaurant.

All health care workers in France will also have to get a jab, and prove that they did, in order to keep their jobs resident Emmanuel Macron expressed excitement about the scheme, calling it a necessity in order to protect the vulnerable, supposedly, and keep hospitalizations to a minimum.

Macron had earlier in the month indicated that he would like for Fauci Flu shots to become a requirement in order to live. If he gets his way, the French will not be allowed to buy, sell, or do anything without first getting a Trump Vaccine.

By Sept. 15, all French health care workers will need to get the shot and show it to their employers, or else risk suspension. All French citizens will also need to get their “health pass” by that date in order to enter all restaurants, trains, airplanes, and some public venues.

The new rules will apply to all adults at first, and by Sept. 30 will also apply to everyone 12 years of age and older. To get the “health pass,” the French will need to show proof of “full” vaccination, present a recent “negative” test, or prove that they recently recovered from the Wuhan Flu.

The French government says it will accept either paper or digital documents showing proof of injection. It is also working on a new government decree for how to handle vaccination documents presented by visitors from other countries.

Congress Passes Billions for Human-Animal Hybrids

We wonder if these hybrids will bring about the Days of Noah that Jesus described?

After a long debate, The Senate approved with 68–32 votes a budget of $250 billion to continue with the controversial creation of hybrid beings by mixing human and animal genetic material.

The bill called the “Endless Frontier Act,” was introduced by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, according to Life Site on June 14. 

 Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) referred to the ethical incompatibility and the need to establish clear definitions on the matter in an attitude of submission to international competition.  

“We shouldn’t need to clarify in law that creating animal-human hybrids or ‘chimeras’ is ethically unthinkable, but sadly the need for that very clear distinction has arrived,” said Lankford, who, along with Sens. Mike Braun R-Ind.), and Steve Daines (R-Mont.) sought to criminalize the creation of such creatures.

He added: “There’s a real difference in taking human cells and injecting them into a mouse for cancer research and for other research. That’s been done, and it’s been done for a very long time, and we’ve had time to be able to process that, but trying to be able to create life is a very different threshold for me.”

Senator Daines noted, “In trying to compete with China, we shouldn’t become like them, It’s critical that we draw a bright line against unethical forms of research that fail to recognize the distinct value of humans over animals.”

Although the 2019 Trump Administration had shut down the procurement of human fetal tissue from elective abortions for research and created an ethics board to review any such research in laboratories and universities, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reversed these provisions in April 2021.

Justice Department Says Vaccine Can Be Required

For those who haven't received the vaccine and really don't want to until it is proven to be safe over the long-term, you may be required by your school or employer to get it as a condition of employment.  Soon after that you may be required to prove you have it to enter a sporting event or stadium.  And soon after that Cub Foods or Menards may require it to enter their stores at all.

So please show your mark before you come in to buy or sell anything.

The Department of Justice concluded in an opinion that federal law doesn’t prohibit public agencies and private businesses from requiring COVID-19 vaccines under the Food and Drug Administration’s emergency use authorization.

On July 26, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, California, and New York City said they would require some of their government workers to get the COVID-19 shot or be tested weekly. Veterans Affairs, with the move, became the first federal agency to mandate the vaccine.

The Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel on July 26 wrote (pdf) that because access to COVID-19 vaccines is more commonplace, “numerous educational institutions, employers, and other entities across the United States” have said they will require some individuals to be vaccinated against the virus as a condition of employment, participation, benefit, service, or relationship.

“For instance,” it wrote, “certain schools will require vaccination in order for students to attend class in person, and certain employers will require vaccination as a condition of employment.”

The opinion, which noted that some have questioned the legality of such mandates, concluded that federal law concerning the FDA’s emergency use authorizations (EUA) on COVID-19 vaccines made by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson doesn’t “prohibit public or private entities from imposing vaccine requirements, even when the only vaccines available are those authorized under EUAs.”

With the Justice Department’s statement and the July 26 Veterans Affairs mandate, it appears to leave the door open for other federal agencies to make COVID-19 vaccines a requirement for employees.

Rutgers University became the first university to mandate them for both employees and students earlier this year. And last week, Carnegie Hall in Manhattan announced that it will require audience members, staff, and performers to provide proof of vaccination before entering the building.

The Justice Department’s opinion comes as messaging from mainstream media outlets, some government officials, and world leaders around vaccines has become increasingly forceful in recent days. Amid reports of an increase in “Delta” variant cases, authorities in France and Italy have recently introduced vaccine passport-type systems for entering private businesses, including restaurants, gyms, theaters, and more, a move that triggered widespread demonstrations across Europe over the weekend.

Responding to the vaccine opinion, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio told MSNBC: “Public sector entities need to move as quickly as possible. This DOJ decision is important. I think that will be helpful. We have got to put pressure on this situation.”

Throughout the pandemic, the federal government has implemented few COVID-19-related restrictions and namely has targeted travel and public transportation. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued guidance—not mandates—around mask-wearing.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who has given conflicting statements around whether the administration supports vaccine passports, told reporters during a briefing last week that the administration isn’t requiring officials to get vaccinated.

“No, we have not mandated it,” Psaki in response to a question about whether the White House has made COVID-19 shots mandatory. She appeared to say that the White House offered the vaccines to every employee.

Some Republican-led states, meanwhile, have passed laws that forbid the usage of vaccine passports in government agencies and offices. Florida went a step further in May after Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, signed a law that prohibits all private businesses from using vaccine passports in his state.

China's New Plan; Digital Currency

 We know that some cashless currency will be running the world in the near-term future.  We know this because the Bible tells me so.

We also know that America has had the world's ONLY reserve currency since the end of WWII and this has given us tremendous leverage to own the printing press to the world's only reserve currency.  Mainly, we can run $30 trillion deficits and just keep printing money to pay the interest since we own the printing press.

But what if China wants to rule the world for a while?  What might they do to unseat us from our prideful perch?

Communist China is adding another element to its toolbox of surveilling and controlling its population. Already known as the country in the world with the most pervasive surveillance and social credit system, China has now created a digital currency, the digital renminbi or yuan -- also known as Digital Currency Electronic Payment (DCEP) -- to ensure that hardly any transaction goes unregistered.

Unlike cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, which are not issued by governments and therefore cannot be used as means of payment in most daily transactions, China's digital currency is issued and controlled by China's central bank.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the currency "is expected to give China's government vast new tools to monitor both its economy and its people. By design, the digital yuan will negate one of bitcoin's major draws: anonymity for the user."

"DCEP is the antithesis of Bitcoin. The ultimate goal of a cryptocurrency is the separation of money and state," said Stewart Mackenzie, a cryptocurrency expert based in Hong Kong. "It's easy for them to say that it's like Bitcoin when it's worlds apart."

The real purpose of the new digital currency, however, seems to be to challenge the long-standing global reign of the US dollar. "China must brace for a full-blown escalation of the struggle with the United States and prepare to gradually decouple the Chinese yuan from the US dollar," Zhou Li, a former deputy director of the Communist Party's International Liaison Department wrote in July 2020. "By taking advantage of the dollar's global monopoly position in the financial sector, the US will pose an increasingly severe threat to China's further development."

China has been working on the digital yuan since 2014 and launched it as a pilot project in four Chinese cities last year. The digital currency has since been expanded to 10 cities and provinces covering 100 million people, where the pilot has been conducted in the form of lotteries. In Shenzhen, for instance, the government gave away a total of 10 million yuan (about $1.5 million) to about 50,000 people, which they could then use with 3,000 local merchants after downloading a digital renminbi app.

Shenzhen is home to some of the country's biggest tech giants, such as Huawei and Tencent; Walmart reportedly also participated in the pilot project. Another Chinese e-commerce company, JD.com, as part of the project, paid its employees with the digital yuan. There are reportedly also plans to have foreign athletes and visitors at the 2022 Beijing Olympics use the digital yuan as a means of payment.

Most recently, it has been reported that China will hand out 40 million renminbi ($6.2 million) of its digital currency to citizens in Beijing in a lottery; that it is testing the digital yuan in Hong Kong, and that it recently rolled out more than 3,000 ATMs in Beijing where people will be able to convert digital yuans to cash and vice versa.

China is denying that launching the digital yuan is fraught with hidden agendas, such as challenging the dollar. "For the internationalization of renminbi, we have said many times that it's a natural process, and our goal is not to replace US dollar or any other international currency," said Li Bo, a deputy governor of the People's Bank of China. "Our goal is to allow the market to choose."

"Some foreign media outlets recently associated the process with geopolitics, assuming that the PBC [People's Bank of China] plans to establish a new global financial configuration by issuing DC/EP [digital currency/electronic payment]," the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Global Times wrote recently.

"Some even jumped to the conclusion that the Chinese government deems the issue and control of a sovereign digital currency as a 'new battlefield' of national competition. In fact, the PBC's decision is merely a necessary move to comply with the inevitable trend of global currency development. From material objects and precious metals to paper notes and the digital currency in the future, pursuing simpler and easier payments is an unstoppable trend of monetary and financial development."

And how much longer can America really hold together?  We pray that she does until Jesus returns but with every gay-pride month and National Coming Out day that passes, we wonder how long we can function as a nation.  It would seem that the foundations of America have already been exploded and now we are just waiting for the implosion to take over.

Will Lebanon Fall Into the Hands of Iran?

 As you know, Lebanon is in a state of collapse.  Their currency has fallen by 95% of value in the past year.  Food and supplies are getting very hard to come by.  People are obviously scared of what's coming.  Hezbollah is a major terrorist organization that is funded by Iran and has lots of power in Lebanon.  Could Iran be on the cusp of taking total control of Lebanon?  Please remember that Lebanon is on the northern border of Israel.

There is growing concern among the Lebanese and other Arabs that Iran is planning to exploit the severe political, economic and financial crisis in Lebanon to complete its takeover of the country.

Iran already has a political and military presence in Lebanon through its terrorist proxy, Hezbollah. The current crisis, however, is likely to facilitate Iran's mission of adding Lebanon to the list of countries it already occupies: Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

For several weeks now, the hashtag "# Lebanon is Collapsing" has been trending on various social media platforms, including Twitter. Many Lebanese and Arabs are using this hashtag to describe the dire economic and financial situation in Lebanon and warn of Iran's ongoing meddling in the internal affairs of the country. They seem to fear that that Iran's mullahs are about to instigate instability and chaos in Lebanon as they have done in Iraq, Yemen and Syria.

"The Lebanese people are dying," commented Lebanese social media user Marianne Mouzaya. "No medicine, no hospitals, no electricity, no water, and an almost non-existent purchasing power."

"Lebanese people feel despair about this situation, and they do not believe that anything good will happen soon," according to Ferhat Tutkal, an international affairs graduate student at the Lebanese American University. "The country suffers from a brain drain, and qualified people leave Lebanon for developed countries that offer a better life. Mass migration is also possible in the future if the crisis continues as it has. Such a situation may affect the balances in the region and cause other problems."

Egyptian writer Ali Masoud believes that the Lebanese have finally realized that Iran and its Hezbollah proxy terrorist group are leading Lebanon toward "humiliation, starvation and an unknown future."

Iraqi political analyst and columnist Farouk Yusef pointed out that "Lebanon today is in its worst phase. For many, there is no Lebanon. A large part of the international community is no longer able to deal with Lebanon as an independent, sovereign state. It is an Iranian protectorate. But Hezbollah sarcastically calls on the world to save Lebanon."

Yusef scoffed at the appeal of some Lebanese leaders to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states to rescue Lebanon and said that the request for help should instead be directed to Iran, which is directly responsible for the country's crisis.

"Lebanon will remain deprived of the means of life because Iran, which has tightened its control over the country, is determined to drive it toward annihilation," Yusef wrote. He said that if the Lebanese were aware that Hezbollah was using Lebanon as a launching pad to attack Israel and that they would end up without electricity, water or medicine, they would have preferred that Israel remain in their country.

Roger Edde, a Lebanese lawyer and president of the Lebanese Peace Party, warned that Lebanon will remain a "failed state" as long as it is "occupied" by Iran.

"There is no glimmer of hope in the horizon unless the Security Council declares Lebanon a failed state that is occupied by Iran and its tools," Edde stated.

Echoing the same sentiment, Lebanese social media user Rita Ballan accused Hezbollah of working to "perpetuate the [Iranian] occupation." According to Ballan, Iran and Hezbollah have taken Lebanon back to the stone age, and the Lebanese are now suffering from "isolation, deprivation and humiliation."

If this goes down the way it seems to be going, this will be one step closer to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38.  Following the rapture of the church and the steep decline of America because of it, Israel will be all alone when Russia, Turkey and Iran decide for themselves that it would be a great time to get rid of Israel once and for all!  But, of course, God has other plans.
