Iran Sends Missiles to Russia

 We see more and more evidence that the Ezekiel 38 coalition is coming together.  Remember, this has never happened before in human history.  This is a prophecy that this generation is seeing play out in real time right before our very eyes.

Iran has provided Russia with a large number of powerful surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, six sources told Reuters, deepening the military cooperation between the two US-sanctioned countries.

Iran‘s provision of around 400 missiles includes many from the Fateh-110 family of short-range ballistic weapons, such as the Zolfaghar, three Iranian sources said. This road-mobile missile is capable of striking targets at a distance of between 300 and 700 km (186 and 435 miles), experts say.

Iran‘s defense ministry and the Revolutionary Guards – an elite force that oversees Iran‘s ballistic missile program – declined to comment. Russia‘s defense ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The shipments began in early January after a deal was finalized in meetings late last year between Iranian and Russian military and security officials that took place in Tehran and Moscow, one of the Iranian sources said.

An Iranian military official – who, like the other sources, asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the information – said there had been at least four shipments of missiles and there would be more in the coming weeks. He declined to provide further details.

Another senior Iranian official said some of the missiles were sent to Russia by ship via the Caspian Sea, while others were transported by plane.

“There will be more shipments,” the second Iranian official said. “There is no reason to hide it. We are allowed to export weapons to any country that we wish to.”

U.N. Security Council restrictions on Iran‘s export of some missiles, drones and other technologies expired in October. However, the United States and European Union retained sanctions on Iran‘s ballistic missile programme amid concerns over exports of weapons to its proxies in the Middle East and to Russia.

A fourth source, familiar with the matter, confirmed that Russia had received a large number of missiles from Iran recently, without providing further details.

White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said in early January the United States was concerned that Russia was close to acquiring short-range ballistic weapons from Iran, in addition to missiles already sourced from North Korea.

A US official told Reuters that Washington had seen evidence of talks actively advancing but no indication yet of deliveries having taken place.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the missile deliveries.

Ukraine’s top prosecutor said on Friday the ballistic missiles supplied by North Korea to Russia had proven unreliable on the battlefield, with only two of 24 hitting their targets. Moscow and Pyongyang have both denied that North Korea has provided Russia with munitions used in Ukraine.

By contrast, Jeffrey Lewis, an expert with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, said the Fateh-110 family of missiles and the Zolfaghar were precision weapons.

“They are used to point at things that are high value and need precise damage,” said Lewis, adding that 400 munitions could inflict considerable harm if used in Ukraine. He noted, however, that Russian bombardments were already “pretty brutal”.

The Mahdi and the Teachings of His Followers

We have blogged many times on the Muslim Mahdi in the past but not so much just recently.  The Mahdi is a Muslim messiah figure that supposedly has been hiding in a well someplace for 1100 years and is going to reveal himself in the very last days.  His attributes sound very much like many of those of the Antichrist.  But if he were going to pull all sorts of left-behind folks into following him, he’d have to change a lot of the laws that Muslims currently have.  For instance, folks are going to want to drink alcohol and women aren’t going to want to wear those black burqas. No problem, he can change that! King David needs to be held high in honor maybe to bring in the Jews and maybe the left-behind “Christians” too.  And the Star of David claimed by the Jews as their symbol is really a symbol for the Mahdi.  So watch this short little clip that was suggested for me by YouTube and see if we can learn more about this messianic figure that many, many Muslims (not all) believe is soon going to be revealed.

Alabama Embryo Ruling

 We are very Pro Life and I’m guessing that almost all my readers are also Pro Life.  So what do we make of this ruling out of Alabama that is declaring embryos sitting in freezers as “children”?  If this holds, this would mean that if a lady and her husband had 6 fertilized eggs sitting in the freezer at an infertility center,  they used 2 and she got pregnant and had a child, they could never discard the other 4 in the freezer.  They would have to sit in the freezer in perpetuity.  Someone (kids, grandkids, great grandkids) would have to pay for the care of those embryos sitting in the freezer forever and ever.

I’d like to hear some of your comments on this because maybe I don’t understand what an embryo in the freezer actually is.  I know an embryo in the womb of a woman is a tiny person who has had the spark of life already activated.  But is an embryo sitting in -65 degree freezer really a “child” that demands protection?  After all, we couldn’t freeze a fetus at -65 for years and then expect it to grow again once we implanted it back into a uterus…could we?

In a first-of-its-kind ruling, Alabama’s Supreme Court said frozen embryos are children and those who destroy them can be held liable for wrongful death – a decision that puts back into national focus the question of when life begins and one that reproductive rights advocates say could have a chilling effect on infertility treatments and the hundreds of Alabamians who seek them each year.

And, critics say, the ruling could soon have consequences nationally as other states could attempt to define embryos as people. Already, one religious group is using the Alabama ruling as precedent in a Florida abortion rights case.

“This is part of a long and strategic march towards entrenching this ideology of fetal personhood, that is at the heart of controlling pregnant people, their decisions and their birth outcomes,” Dana Sussman, the deputy executive director of legal advocacy group Pregnancy Justice, told CNN.

The Alabama ruling, which was released Friday, stems from two lawsuits filed by three sets of parents who underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures to have babies and then opted to have the remaining embryos frozen.

The parents allege in December 2020, a patient at the Mobile hospital where the frozen embryos were being stored walked into the fertility clinic through an “unsecured doorway,” and removed several embryos from the cryogenic nursery, the state’s Supreme Court ruling said. The patient’s hand was “freeze-burned” by the extremely low temperatures the embryos were stored in and the patient dropped them on the floor, killing them, according to the ruling.

The parents sued for wrongful death but a trial court dismissed their claims, finding the “cryopreserved, in vitro embryos involved in this case do not fit within the definition of a ‘person’ or ‘child,’” according to the ruling.

But in a stunning reversal last week, the state Supreme Court disagreed, noting “extrauterine children” – or, unborn children “located outside of a biological uterus at the time they are killed” – are children, and they are covered under the state’s Wrongful Death of a Minor law.

IDF Patches Include One That Anticipates the Jewish Messiah

When Jesus came the first time the Jews rejected him.  Since then, individual Jews could accept Jesus, but the nation of Israel will experience a temporary blindness until “the fullness of the gentiles comes in”.  The fact that Israelis are publicly longing for their messiah and the building of the third temple, should show us what season we are in. Their false messiah will end up being the Antichrist and will set himself in the Temple and declare himself to be God.  This will fulfill a lot of prophesies including what Jesus said to the Jews, “I have come in my Father’s name and you don’t accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.”

 On October 7, Hamas invaded Israel and on October 8, the IDF began Operation Iron Swords with the stated goal of eliminating the existential threat on the southern border. While the mission is clear and the IDF soldiers are intensely motivated, the gradual appearance of personalized patches indicates an additional, more messiah-oriented motivation that is growing among the troops. And it has Hamas terrified of the IDF.

Last month, a post appeared on Telegram Featuring an American “mercenary” fighting for the IDF. The soldier was standing guard at night in full battle gear when he made the video.

“They call this operation the Swords of Iron,” he said to the camera as he took a velcro patch from his fatigues displaying the symbol for the war. “But what are we really fighting for? We are fighting for the right of the Jewish people to exist, be Jewish, and practice their religion, and be free,” he said, removing another velcro patch with a Star of David. 

“And one day, our true leader will come and we will be united as a whole Jewish nation,” he said, displaying a patch that had a crown and the word ‘Moshiach’ (Messiah). “So that we can rebuild the Beit Hamikdash (the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem),” he said, displaying a patch with an image of the Temple.

“But until then, what makes us unique is that we’re that one nation who believes in One God that ultimately makes that one reason, ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ [the nation of Israel lives],’ he concluded.

The video was reposted on pro-Hamas sites which identified the Moshiach symbol as belonging to the Chabad Hasidic movement which believes the Messiah “will arrive as part of the Apocalyptic Prophecies of the Old Testament to restore the Glory of Zion & Eretz Israel”.

The pro-Hamas site stated that the Moshiach will be “The Transition, this one, from a Republican, secular and liberal-democratic Israel, to a Messianic Kingdom, ruled by Halakha, a Kingdom led by the long-awaited Moshiach as dreamed by the Kahanists allied with Netanyahu.”

Here Comes the Wild Pigs

Over the years we have watched for the stories about wild animals attacking humans.  Bears, coyotes, cougars and wolves are reported to attack humans in very rare circumstances.  But we also notice the words never and ever in the stories, like “black bear attacks hiker in New Jersey for first time ever”.

Our local NBC Channel 11 is doing a story this Wednesday on the 10 pm news about these hairy hogs that are soon creeping into MN, ND and MT from Canada and the mess they create.  Once they come they are nearly impossible to eradicate.  Hogs eat anything and make a huge mess as they root around in your garden or yard.

So you might ask what this has to do with prophecy?  Remember in Revelation 6 when the 4th seal is opened?  It says the rider on the pale horse was given power over 1/4th of the earth to kill by sword, famine, plague and the WILD BEASTS OF THE EARTH.  If planet earth is as close to this time of tribulation as we think we are, we should expect to see stories increase about wild animals, especially those capable of killing and eating humans.

 MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — An exploding population of hard-to-eradicate “super pigs” in Canada is threatening to spill south of the border, and northern states like Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana are taking steps to stop the invasion. 

In Canada, the wild pigs roaming Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba pose a new threat. They are often crossbreeds that combine the survival skills of wild Eurasian boar with the size and high fertility of domestic swine to create a “super pig” that's spreading out of control.

Ryan Brook, a professor at the University of Saskatchewan and one of Canada's leading authorities on the problem, calls feral swine, “the most invasive animal on the planet" and “an ecological train wreck.”

Pigs are not native to North America. While they've roamed parts of the continent for centuries, Canada's problem dates back only to the 1980s when it encouraged farmers to raise wild boar, Brook said. The market collapsed after peaking in 2001 and some frustrated farmers simply cut their fences, setting the animals free. 

It turned out that the pigs were very good at surviving Canadian winters. Smart, adaptable and furry, they eat anything, including crops and wildlife. They tear up land when they root for bugs and crops. They can spread devastating diseases to hog farms like African swine fever. And they reproduce quickly. A sow can have six piglets in a litter and raise two litters in a year.

America is Right on the Edge of Christian Invisibility

One of the biggest lies sold to us by books, movies and stories we’ve all seen and heard thousands of times is “just follow your heart”.  Of course this lie actually comes from the pit of hell.  The Bible is very clear that the human heart is wicked.  All of us are capable of doing atrocious things if we follow our hearts.

 Americans are rejecting God and following their hearts to destruction and emptiness.

A sobering conclusion to a brand-new study is that it appears America “is on the precipice of Christian invisibility.” The new study from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University reveals the five core beliefs rejected by 8- to-12-year-olds are: the Bible, absolute truth, means to salvation, the purpose of life, and success.

Director of Research, Dr. George Barna, states “children are following in the unfortunate spiritual footsteps of the generations that have preceded them,” and this trajectory leads to the total abandonment of biblical Christianity in record numbers.

In a discussion about a strong biblical faith in God and His Word, a recent guest on Worldview Matters profoundly stated you cannot give away what you do not possess. Research continues to show a decreasing percentage of Americans embracing the biblical worldview, including only 2 percent of parents of young children today.

What then, are they teaching and modeling for their children? Secularism, moral relativism, atheism, or religious pluralism.

Sadly, since God has basically been removed from our culture and government, how can the nation remain truly free and maintain individual rights?

Author and Washington Times editor, Cheryl Chumley commented on this new research due to the fact our rights and liberties come from God, and government serves only to protect those individual freedoms and rights. She concludes from this study that by removing God, America will instead get …” government granted; government disbursed; government redistributed — government of Marxism and communism.”

Chumley adds:

“Without a biblical worldview, [we] become subject to the ever-changing human definitions of right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral. …mob rule becomes the governing force. Those with the loudest voice, biggest platforms, most powerful or powerfully persuasive means of imposing will are the dictators of law and order.”

Iran Unveils New Mural Calling for Destruction of Israel

When a nation announces, in plain view and hearing of everyone, that it seeks the destruction of another nation, history teaches us to take those threats seriously.  Iran continues to tell the world it wants to destroy Israel.  Of course God has other plans.

 A new mural has been unveiled in Tehran's Palestine Square, featuring threats directed at Israel.

According to anti-regime news outlet Iran International, the mural was erected by the Iranian regime.

The mural consists of phrases in Hebrew and Farsi stating: "We are stronger and more determined than ever. Are you ready for 2 million displaced people?", along with depictions of missiles.

On Saturday, Iran unveiled new weaponry, including what it said was the locally made Arman anti-ballistic missile system and the Azarakhsh low-altitude air defense system.

The unveiling ceremony of the two vehicle-mounted systems took place in the presence of Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani.

"With the entry of new systems into the country's defense network, the air defense capability of the Islamic Republic of Iran will increase significantly," IRNA said.

It said the Arman missile system "can simultaneously confront six targets at a distance of 120 to 180 km", while the Azarakhsh missile system "can identify and destroy targets... up to a range of 50 km with four ready-to-fire missiles".

Putin Says Turkey is Most Reliable Partner

 Can you see how Russia and Turkey and Iran will all come together and decide that something needs to be done about Israel?  The fact that Israel has discovered a huge natural gas source will likely be the final “hook” that God uses to draw them out and devise a plan.  Turkey and Iran wont need much convincing to destroy the Jews since Iran actually says that’s what they want to do and Turkey will be vengeful because Israel is currently destroying Hamas.  It’s all coming together in a convergence of Tribulation signs.  Be ready!

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that since the West’s restrictions on buying cheap energy from Moscow, Türkiye has emerged as the “most reliable partner” in the gas sector, Anadolu news agency reported.

“They were constantly saying that Russia does not provide (energy), but restricts. We do not restrict anything… we give everything. The Turks proved to be the most reliable partner. It goes through TurkStream,” Putin said in an interview with Rossiya-1 TV.

The West hoped that Russia would collapse if they did not buy gas from the country, Putin said, adding that this approach had an impact on Western economies rather than on Moscow.

“Industry is moving to other countries, including the US, where more favourable conditions have been created and where energy resources are cheaper. Because they need to be liquefied before being transported across the ocean, then turned to gas again. All this increases costs,” the Russian president said.

He added that the non-energy sector of the Russian economy is expanding at a much faster pace than before and that it is coping with Europe’s refusal to buy Russian gas by turning to alternative energy sources.

“We are starting to work more on our gasification, on using these energy resources to solve internal economic problems, not only in the housing and communal services system but also for the economy and industry,” he said.

Putin claimed that German authorities are currently busy with internal political struggles, as Berlin’s current policy is causing “colossal damage” to the future of its economy.

The Russian president believed that the German economy is losing competitiveness, nevertheless, it would remain stable and “capable of existing and developing for a long time.”​​​​​​​
