Supreme Court Justice Says It's Our Duty to Elect Christian Leaders

As you are debating with your liberal family and friends, here is a quote from the first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, that you might want to use.

“Providence has given to our people the choice of their ruler, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."-- John Jay First Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.

The Left is convinced that "separation of church and state", is something that is enshrined in our Constitution...but that's not true.  Our founding fathers understood that the laws of this new land were to be taken from Judeo-Christian values.  They further said that the constitution they were handing us would "only serve to govern a wholly religious and moral peoples.  It will not work if the people cease being such."

Now look around at the people in America terrorizing Tesla drivers, calling for men to be allowed to play against women in sports, false teachers leading our churches and the leaders of our public schools believing it's their moral duty to withhold information about young children changing their identities FROM THE PARENTS and you can understand how far we have drifted from the roots of God that served to make us great.

Congressional Republicans May Set Off the Debt Bomb

We can’t even count the number of times we have written about America’s slide into unsustainable debt.  When will calamity happen?  We have no idea.  Could Trump figure out a way to get us on a better financial footing?  Maybe.  Will the Democrats have any better ideas for stopping the deficit spending?  No way.  Are Republicans seriously talking about major tax cuts without spending cuts?  Maybe.  Doesn’t that seem super irresponsible?  Yes it does.  Is a fiscal nightmare coming for America and the world?  Yes.  Do we hope that life continues as normal until Jesus blows the trumpet and the disappearance of millions triggers the economic collapse?  For sure!!!

********************

Congressional Republicans have approved the most fiscally irresponsible budget resolution since the modern budget process began five decades ago. It allows Congress to slash taxes by $5.3 trillion and expand spending by $517 billion over the decade. This $5.8 trillion addition to the deficit (plus interest) would exceed the cost of the 2017 tax cuts, 2020 CARES Act, 2021 American Rescue Plan, and 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law—combined.

Tales of impending debt crises have been scaring voters since the days of Ronald Reagan, without coming true. But surviving an unhealthy diet and lifestyle until now doesn’t mean you can disregard your health forever. Washington’s debt path is so unsustainable that it ultimately endangers the United States economy. And time is running out to change course without substantial disruption.

Economists agree that annual budget deficits—when the government spends more than it brings in—are less meaningful than the total debt held by the public as a share of the economy. The federal debt temporarily exceeded 100 percent of the economy during World War II, but subsequently averaged just 40 percent through 2008. At a 5 percent interest rate, the cost of paying interest on that debt sustainably consumed 2 percent of GDP, or one-ninth of annual tax revenues.

Since 2008, trillion-dollar budget deficits have pushed the debt to 100 percent of the economy—approaching World War II levels. The dangerous combination of rising debt and interest rates have driven annual interest costs up from $352 billion in 2021 to nearly $1 trillion this year. During that time, interest costs have surpassed Medicaid, defense, and finally, Medicare to become the most expensive federal budget item after Social Security—which itself will be surpassed in perhaps 15 years.

Simply continuing today’s tax and spending policies will escalate the federal debt to 241 percent of the economy over the next three decades. And if interest rates rise even one percentage point above the government’s long-term projections, which they easily could, the debt would reach 295 percent of GDP. Interest on the debt would then consume four-fifths of all annual federal revenues.

Debt at that scale would force Washington to borrow an enormous share of the economy’s savings—leaving less money available to families and entrepreneurs for home, auto, and business loans. This lack of savings available for investment would choke economic growth and push up interest rates. As a result, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that this debt surge would shave up to one-third off the long-term growth of family incomes.

1/2 of Swedes Want to Leave Because of Muslim Immigrants

When the Leftists get in control they end up breaking everything.  Their worldview is godless, unbiblical and unrealistic.  They end up believing that all people, at their core, are good people and if you treat them well then they will become even better people who will thrive, pay taxes and become your best friend.

In reality, people are evil and wicked.  Jeremiah asks who can even understand how wicked humans can be aside from Jesus-God changing them?  And Muslims who get into Sweden have no plans on becoming socialist, non-confrontational, lukewarm Christians who speak Swedish.  They would rather form Muslim majorities in cities and then demand to build mosques, blare Muslim chants from those mosques for all to hear, name their kids Muhammad instead of Erik and plan the downfall and takeover of the unsuspecting pacifists who naively believe that all people want to sing Kum-ba-yah while holding hands.

******************

Tragically, Sweden, once one of the safest and most peaceful countries in the world, is being eaten alive from the inside out by violent criminal networks that globalist politicians have imported under the guise of “compassion” and “diversity.”

Despite this terrifying trend, Sweden’s political class—except for the Sweden Democrats and Alternative for Sweden—has largely tiptoed around the root cause: mass migration from alien cultures gone unchecked.

For years, establishment politicians denied or downplayed the connection between soaring crime and Sweden’s rapid demographic shifts. That silence is now deafening as citizens face daily violence and the erosion of public safety.

The consequences of these policies aren’t just statistical—they’re deeply personal for many Swedes. A new national survey revealed that more than half of Sweden’s aging population no longer sees a future in their homeland. Fifty-one percent of Swedes approaching retirement now say they want to move abroad. And why? Among the top reasons: to escape the migrant gang violence ravaging their cities.

Stockholmers are the most desperate to get out, with nearly 60% planning their exit. Spain, Italy, the U.S.—anywhere but Sweden. Even the country’s national anthem—“I want to live, I want to die in the North”—rings hollow now, as ordinary Swedes watch their homeland slip away.

This is what globalism does. This is what happens when unelected bureaucrats, socialist ideologues, and spineless politicians sell out their people in favor of a utopian fantasy that never existed.

Woke Minnesota Attorney Won’t Prosecute Tesla Vandal

So here’s the deal;  Minnesota Governor, Tampon Tim, has an employee who was tracked down and arrested for keying at least 6 Teslas.  Tampon Tim had told a crowd he was speaking to earlier that he watches Tesla stock go down to make himself feel better.  Soon after, Teslas began being the target of leftist lunacy vandalism.  Somehow the leftists believe they are punishing Elon and Trump by destroying electric cars made my Elon’s company, Tesla.  What’s funny is that Teslas were bought by a ton of “save the earth” Democrats and now some of those folks have become the target of other Democrat vandals.

So the Minneapolis police did their job in arresting this MN state employee who keyed at least 6 Teslas and now the Hennepin County Attorney won’t prosecute him for his crimes.  The most populous county in Minnesota now has a woke system that prosecutes republicans but won’t prosecute democrats who burn down cities, destroy police precincts or walk around the city vandalizing vehicles they don’t like.

*****************************

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (HCAO) said Monday it will not seek criminal charges against 33-year-old Dylan Adams, who allegedly vandalized at least six Tesla vehicles, causing $20,000 in damage.

Instead, HCAO said they will seek "diversion" rather than criminal consequences. However, criminal charges remain on the table, if the vandalism were to continue.

What they're saying:

HCAO released a statement Monday night.

"Our main priorities are to secure restitution for the victims and hold Mr. Adams accountable. As a result, we will file for pre-charge diversion to best facilitate both of those goals," HCAO spokesperson Daniel Borgertpoepping said. "This is an approach taken in many property crime cases and helps to ensure the individual keeps their job and can pay restitution, as well as reducing the likelihood of repeat offenses. Criminal prosecution remains a possibility should unlawful behavior continue."

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara provided the following statement regarding the Hennepin County Attorney's Office decision:

"The Minneapolis Police Department did its job. It identified and investigated a crime trend, identified, and arrested a suspect, and presented a case file to the Hennepin County Attorney Office for consideration of charges. This case impacted at least six different victims and totaled over $20,000 in damages. Any frustration related to the charging decision of the Hennepin County Attorney should be directed solely at her office. Our investigators are always frustrated when the cases they poured their hearts into are declined. In my experience, the victims in these cases often feel the same."

Dig deeper:

FOX 9 has learned that Adams works for the State of Minnesota as a data analyst for the Department of Human Services. He started with the Department of Human Services in September of 2018, and his current job title is a financial policy compliance lead.

The Department of Human Services issued a statement Tuesday morning, saying they're aware of Adams' arrest.

What they're saying:

"We are reviewing the matter at this time. State employees are expected to follow our code of conduct and hold themselves to the highest ethical standards through their words and actions," the statement reads.

The Most Spurned Doctrine

I recently had lunch with a fellow brother in Christ.  As we started talking about the present state of the world concerning the Bible and current events.  At this point he started going off on all the crazy, fundamental, so-called Christians who held to some crazy belief that Jesus was going to come for the church and have everyone meet Him in the clouds before some great tribulation was supposed to happen.  I let him go on because he was clearly worked up about the whole idea and it wasn't the time or place to get into a big debate.  I'm sure he didn't realize it but he was totally talking about my beliefs in a Pre-trib rapture.

Turns out that the idea of a rapture is one of the most spurned beliefs in the church today.

No other biblical teaching receives as much ridicule within the Christian community; it’s not even close. It even happens within the walls of churches that claim to believe in the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture. What doctrine receives so much scoffing? It’s none other than our belief in the pre-Tribulation Rapture.

The online Cambridge Dictionary defines a scoffer as “someone who laughs and speaks about a person or idea in a way that shows that they think that person or idea is stupid or silly.” This accurately sums what often happens when such people hear about our hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing.

The book of Proverbs describes scoffers as those that:

Spurn reproof – Proverbs 9:7-8, 13:1, 15:12

Exhibit pride and arrogance – Proverbs 21:24

Cause quarreling and division – Proverbs 22:10, 29:8

Seek wisdom in vain – Proverbs 14:6

The Apostle Peter warned that such people who would arise during the last days asking, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Pet. 3:3-4).

The word for “coming” in the above text is parousia, a word that denotes Jesus’s presence and its resulting impact on the world. The Lord used the same word in Matthew 24:37-38 to denote the sudden onset of judgment on the earth at His coming.

Former pastor and author Ray C. Stedman, in his book What on Earth Is Happening? wrote this about Jesus’ use of parousia in these verses: “In one sense, He is describing one event: His parousia, His presence on earth. The parousia begins with His return to remove the church, and it climaxes with His glorious manifestation. So these two events are really different aspects of one parousia, one presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Beginning with the pre-Tribulation Rapture, the earth will feel Jesus’ presence via the Day of the Lord wrath during the Tribulation period, His spectacular Second Coming, and His thousand-year reign.

Today’s scoffers ridicule our belief of Jesus’ unexpected and sudden intervention in our world, His parousia.

They Cause Division in the Church

Please know that the blame for divisions that arise because of our belief in Jesus’ imminent appearing does not result from our adherence to it, but rather from those who suppress any mention of the Rapture in their churches. Such places of worship often seek to take the “high road” by regarding the Rapture as tertiary, or of lesser importance than other doctrines, and therefore not an issue that should divide believers.

However, more times than not, such a stance silences those of us who watch for Jesus’ imminent appearing. It often leaves us out in the cold without a church home. Pay close attention to the words of Jude 17-19: “But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, ‘In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.’ It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.”

There will always be people who disagree with the message of God’s Word. If division erupts as a result of our adherence to what Scripture tells us, the fault lies with those who scoff at our beliefs. This is particularly true for those who scoff at our hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing.

Scoffers Don’t Recognize the Signs of the Times

I’m shocked by how many writers, pastors, and teachers deny the reality of the approaching seven-year Tribulation and thus the Rapture that precedes it. They misinterpret John’s words in Revelation 6-18 as symbolism or past history, which blinds them to how so many world events are shaping the world for the fulfillment of the judgments described in these chapters.

They boast of a wisdom that enables them to understand what the biblical prophets actually meant. They retrofit their words to fit their errant understanding that God has rejected Israel.

During a long lunchtime conversation with a pastor who denied a future for Israel, he accused prophecy watchers like us of “reading the paper in one hand with the Bible in the other.” In other words, he claimed that what we see today is not the fulfillment of prophecy but rather our attempts to make it fit with what Scripture says. In reality, his inability to recognize that we live in the last days results from following current events with a closed Bible.

I recognize that there’s a significant difference between those who ridicule our belief in the Rapture and those who are willing to respectfully listen to us despite not agreeing with our beliefs. In my experience, however, scoffing is much more prevalent when it comes to Jesus’ imminent appearing than that of those genuinely seeking to discern the truth from Scripture.

Here;  Why The Most Ridiculed Doctrine In The Bible Is One Of The Most Important - Harbinger's Daily

I honestly have no idea what these folks do with 1 Thessalonians 4 which clearly speaks of Jesus calling His bride into the clouds where we will get new flesh and be with him forever.  I also wonder how Bible-reading folks can see all the headlines regarding tiny Israel and not see that God has his hand in all the headlines.

Belief in a pre-trib rapture is NOT a salvation issue but it is interesting to me that folks who seem to be part of the church get so worked up about it.

Maybe because it's really close?  As it was in the days of Noah...

College Professors and the Liberal Elites

Sadly, most of America’s education system has been taken over by liberal leftists. Most shun the Bible.  They believe they are too smart to believe anything from some old book.  They begin to ridicule anyone who doesn’t see things as they do.  Their entire world view becomes, “If you were as smart as me, had studied as much as me, had traveled as much as me, THEN you would understand how ignorant YOU really are.”  They have now become a liberal elite!  And next they go on the mission of trying to make all the children in America liberal elites.  If your child hasn’t become one by high school graduation then the college they go to will do their best to complete the job.  Trump’s battle with Harvard, which used to be a Christian school, will hopefully bring some more light on a dark issue.

******************

Harvard has refused to accept the orders of a Trump administration commission concerning its chronic problems with anti-Semitism, campus violence, and racial tribalism, bias, and segregation.

Aside from the issues of autonomy and free expression, there are lots of campus practices that higher education would prefer were not widely known to the public.

But soon they will be, and thus will become sources of public anger. Perhaps envision elite private colleges as mossy rocks, which seem outwardly picturesque—until you turn them over and see what crawls beneath.

So, if there are protracted standoffs, our elite campuses will be hard-pressed to defend the indefensible. This effort will be difficult because public confidence in higher education has already plummeted to historic lows in the most recent polls.

In Amerispeak public surveys, those expressing very little confidence or none at all in higher education have soared to about 30 percent of respondents, while those polling only “some” confidence rose to 40%.

Polls show that less than a third of Americans have quite a lot of confidence in our college campuses.

No wonder: Over the past half-century, tuition has generally risen at twice the rate of inflation. In part, that price-gouging became standard because federal aid to our most prestigious schools has skyrocketed, hand-in-glove with the federalized student loan program. It has become a $1.7 trillion entity in which the combined rate of both those students who defaulted on their guaranteed loans or are currently late on payments is nearing 12-13 percent. In sum, colleges counted on an ensured stream of tuition money and so raised their prices inordinately, given federal guarantees.

There is almost no intellectual diversity on campus. Some recent studies have found Democrat/liberal professors outnumber their Republican/conservative counterparts by a 10-1 margin, especially in the social sciences and humanities. There are plenty of conservative PhDs on the market, but higher education has used insidious methods such as diversity oaths and covert political bias to find ways not to hire or retain them.

Colleges no longer believe in their ancient mission to teach students the ancient, disinterested, and inductive method of pursuing knowledge. Nor do they care much that their graduates leave college without a broad classical education in history, literature, language, philosophy, science, and math. Instead, they are missionaries who believe their duty is to indoctrinate youth in progressive ideology, found mostly in studies courses and deductive classes, as part of a greater project to fundamentally alter the nature of the United States.

The Supreme Court in a recent case ruled against Harvard and the University of North Carolina, stating that their use of racial and gender bias is illegal under the 14th Amendment and thus affirmative action and associated racial essentialism are forbidden.

Yet, many of our campuses simply rebrand their offices of “diversity/equity/inclusion” —the campus euphemism for using race and gender bias in applications, hiring, retention, and promotion—with newer Orwellian names like the “Office of Belonging” or “Community Outreach.” Universities are higher education’s version of sanctuary cities that likewise cavalierly believe they can largely ignore federal laws with impunity.

For example, it’s illegal to segregate university events or facilities by race. But universities sidestep the law by offering race-based graduation ceremonies as “auxiliary” or “additional” events and commemorations. Racially segregated dorms are deemed “theme” houses open to all but de facto widely known as racially exclusive. If the so-called “white” minority at Stanford—some 22 percent of the student body—opted for an “extra” white graduation ceremony, theoretically open to all students, the university would—and should—shut it down promptly.

The Pope and His LGBTQ Legacy

Here is an article by a gay about the inroads the recently deceased Pope made for the LGBTQ confused crowd.

In the 12 years since Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected Pope Francis on March 13, 2013, we’ve witnessed a rapid expansion of LGBTQ rights around the world. The pope’s death Monday is a reminder of the surprising ways his papacy was part of that wave of acceptance.

Francis set the tone early in his appointment, during an in-flight press conference aboard the jet nicknamed Shepherd One en route from Rio de Janeiro to Rome in July of 2013. When a reporter posed a question about gay priests, the newly appointed pope quipped: “If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge?”

With that simple statement — “Who am I to judge?” — the pope laid the foundation for his compassionate approach and inclusion of the LGBTQ community.

Indeed, the late pope’s nonjudgemental approach to LGBTQ issues did not go far enough for many LGBTQ advocates. But it’s important to judge his legacy in the context of the Catholic Church, and to recognize how remarkable his approach was given the institutional norms that for decades suppressed and ignored LGBTQ devotees.

The size of the LGBTQ population in the United States has grown from 3.5% in 2012 to 9.3% in 2024, according to Gallup. A spokesperson from the polling firm told me that 5.6% of Christians in the United States today identify as LGBTQ. More and more LGBTQ Christians continue to come out and find a home in the body of Christ. I believe Pope Francis had some impact on those changes.

For many LGBTQ Christians like myself, the changes Francis championed feel personal. I’ve experienced both the sting of exclusion and the quiet hope that, perhaps one day, church pews will be filled with all those who long to find God’s love, regardless of whom they love. I’ve witnessed Catholic LGBTQ friends endure so much harm from the church hierarchy. Francis’ change of posture toward the community let light shine in the darkness.

I’ve seen the hope Pope Francis has given to LGBTQ Catholics in particular. One of my best friends from college come out as a lesbian and yet maintain her Catholic faith in the midst of much hate. There’s been so much positive change toward LGBTQ equality since we started college together in 2008; I was even able to officiate her wedding in 2022. While worshipping with her on multiple occasions for Catholic mass, I’ve given thanks to God for the many LGBTQ Catholics who have stayed committed to their faith.

The Vatican did back up the merciful media soundbites reverberating around the world with some substantive policy changes, including allowing transgender people to be baptized and serve as godparents, and allowing priests to offer blessings of same-sex couples. These changes did not amount to full equality, but they were meaningful progress toward recognizing the God-given dignity of LGBTQ people. The pope also elevated a number of LGBTQ-friendly leaders to positions of greater authority in the U.S. Catholic hierarchy.

“Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God,” Francis said in a 2020 documentary. “You can’t kick someone out of a family, nor make their life miserable for this. What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered.”

Here;  Pope Francis death leaves a legacy of compassion for LGBTQ Christians

The perverts and their "don't judge lest ye be judged!", misquote never gets a break!

Of course we ARE TO JUDGE those who claim to be part of our church.  We do it all the time!  "Um, you can't teach Sunday School for pre-schoolers because we did a background check on you and you were arrested for child porn!"

Hey, you say you want to join our church but you just introduced us to your two "wives" and proudly announce you are part of a THROUPLE?  Ummm...no, you can't be members here.

Hey, you say you want to join our church but you actively enjoy group sodomy on the GAY 90's bar when you "go out to celebrate gay pride"....ummm, no, you can't be members here.  We ARE judging you.  And your life is filled with the fruit of perversion, pride and a lack of regard for the authority of scripture.  Maybe go try the Catholic or Methodist church??  They'll take anyone and anything.  Just tell them that you're a pretty good person.

The Pope Has Died

There is going to be a lot of prophetic buzzing going on around this next Pope.  We have said for some years that the Pope will be a candidate to serve as False Prophet during the 70th Week of Daniel.  He will be a charismatic guy who will likely come out with a platform that has already started in the Catholic Church and that others around the world will embrace.

Here are some of the ideas of what he will likely say;

-all religions are welcomed by God.  Be a good person and be kind to your neighbors

-Islam is a great Abrahamic faith and Allah is just another name for our heavenly father

-Israel has no meaning because God loves all nations equally

-promises of blessings in the Bible are available to ALL people who love the father

-being gay, transgender or anything under the LGBTQIA+ rainbow is a blessing from God.

-any other life forms in the universe are OUR brothers and sisters of creation and we will welcome them

-the guy who confirmed a peace agreement with Israel and the world "blessed" because he is a "peacemaker", and remember what Jesus told us in the beatitudes!  Blessed are the peacemakers!

The article below is from the Muslim news source call Al Jazeera.

Pope Francis died on Monday morning, the Vatican announced, days after he was discharged from hospital after undergoing treatment for a complex respiratory infection. He was 88 years old.

His death, 12 years after he was declared pope, has prompted renewed questions about who will succeed him as leader of the Catholic Church, one of the oldest and largest religious institutions with up to 1.39 billion followers.

Here’s what you need to know about what could come after Pope Francis, whose social justice ideals and global vision have transformed the Church.

A successor has yet to be chosen.

The College of Cardinals, comprised of senior Catholic clergy – many appointed by Francis himself – will elect the next pope. To be eligible, a candidate must be a baptised, male Roman Catholic, though for centuries, the cardinals have exclusively selected someone from their ranks.

There are currently more than 240 cardinals worldwide. They typically hold the title for life.

Who are the top candidates to become the next pope?

Of the 138 cardinals eligible to vote in the conclave, a total of 110 were appointed by Pope Francis. This group is notably more diverse than previous electors, with a higher representation from Asia, Africa and Latin America, reflecting Francis’s goal of mirroring the Church’s global reach. The youngest cardinal elector is only 45 years old, a Ukrainian clergyman based in Australia.

As a result, there is a possibility that, for the first time in centuries, the next pope could come from Africa or Asia, or another region traditionally underrepresented in the Church’s leadership.

Among the African cardinals being discussed are Ghana’s Peter Turkson, the former head of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Fridolin Ambongo, archbishop of Kinshasa. Both are committed conservatives who have been vocal advocates for peace in their respective countries.

Another strong contender is Philippine Cardinal Luis Tagle, the former archbishop of Manila. Like Pope Francis, Tagle emphasises social justice and caring for the poor.

Hungarian Cardinal Peter Erdo is seen as a leading conservative candidate and could serve as a bridge to Eastern Christians. The archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest, Erdo, is a traditionalist who has championed outreach to Orthodox Christians, stressing the “desperate need” for unity between the churches.

Here;  Who will be the next pope after Francis? The selection process, what’s next | Religion News | Al Jazeera

That last guy sounds like a contender!!  He stresses the desperate need for unity between the churches!

Remember, all of this is interesting but just for fun.  Jesus will come for us before the Antichrist will be revealed and while it doesn't explicitly say so, we are guessing that the False Prophet won't be named until the Antichrist has been enthroned.

Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Drag Show Mocks Jesus

We can hope that all these perverts repent and accept Jesus so that their sins are forgotten.  But if they don’t there will be Justice coming when Jesus returns.

One day, after the 1000 year reign of Christ, they will stand in a long line at the Great White Throne judgment.  They will ask to be judged by their good works that they think will be found in The Books.  But the books have nothing in them that support their claim of, “but I’ve been a pretty good person.”  Had they ever read scripture they would have seen Jesus’ words, “None are good.  Not even one.”  Or, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

We live in a wicked and perverted age.  Good is called evil and evil is called good. But fear not!  Jesus is coming, and every knee WILL BOW!
