Trump Invites America to Rededicate Itself to God

Trump might not be a mature Christian.  He may not have humbled himself to Christ.  He may be filled with too much pride and ego…but he sure comes through with some awesome things.  Let’s all commit ourselves to pray for this country and pray for Trump and his cabinet throughout all of 2026.  God allowed him into this position for a reason so let’s do our part and pray.

***************

In July, President Donald Trump announced plans for a yearlong celebration of America’s 250th birthday to culminate in spectacular fashion on Independence Day 2026. But before the nation’s capital is immersed in patriotic pageantry befitting such a historic milestone, the president is calling the country to pray.

“As we prepare to celebrate two-and-a-half centuries of freedom, I am inviting America’s great religious communities to pray for our nation and for our people,” Trump said during the kickoff event held July 3 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “From the beginning, this has always been a country sustained and strengthened by prayer. …So, as we chart our course for the next 250 years, let us rededicate ourselves to one nation under God.”

The call to pray is a priority for evangelical Christians, who know that prayer must be true prayer, prayed in the Name of Jesus to the one true God. During a meeting of the Trump-appointed Religious Liberty Commission, held at the Museum of the Bible in early September, Scott Turner, U.S. secretary of Housing and Urban Development and a Southern Baptist minister, cast the vision for “America Prays” and said more than 70 faith organizations had already joined the initiative.

“What if one million people prayed for our country every single week between now and next July 4th? More specifically, what if believers all across this great nation got together with 10 people—friends, family members, colleagues, work associates—10 people each week to pray for our country and our fellow citizens?” Turner asked.

Top 10 Prophetic Stories of 2025

2025 was a wild ride on the prophecy News front!  With each passing day it’s becoming more obvious that we are the convergence generation!  What a blessing to be able to SEE in the news what the generations of old could only dream about and wonder.

Below, I’ve posted the top 10 from our friend here in Minnesota, Jan Markell.

********************

As I reflect on the events of the year from a prophetic perspective, I am stirred, awed, and even alarmed. So much has happened. Let me cite ten stories that stand out in a prominent way!

1) President Trump is forming a “Board of Peace” made up of ten international leaders from Arab and Western nations—leaders who will collectively oversee the next phase of governance, security, and reconstruction in Gaza and the broader Middle East peace framework. Ten leaders. Not nine or twelve. Does this not prick the curious mind of the average Bible prophecy student?

2) Last days mockery and scoffing is front-and-center. It is from within–that is what is so heartbreaking. We all have loved ones who call us–in a deriding manner–“End-Times Eddie” or “Gloom and Doom June.” We are warning that time is running out.

In 2025, some claiming to be Christians predicted a specific date for the rapture. Many sold all possessions and awaited the rapture of believers. In a sense, those folks deserved some scolding but it hit all believers in end-time eschatology and weakened our last days’ witness. And, there was more mocking and scoffing from believers and unbelievers.

3) There was much cheering for evil in 2025. Yes, the Bible says that in the last days, evil will wax worse and worse (II Timothy 3:13) so why are we surprised? Hamas was cheered. So was Zohran Mamdani. How nutty is this? Mamdani is preparing the world for the Antichrist! Somalis financially raided my home state of Minnesota and the Left celebrated their evil accomplishments and lies. Leftists thought Charlie Kirk’s murder was just fine. Some celebrated. Luigi Mangioni, who killed a healthcare executive in cold blood, is a modern-day hero to some. Jews were set on fire in Colorado. OK by some.

4) There was much destruction of “people of the book”—Jews and Christians. Zohran Mamdani was elected because he hated Jews. It is cool. This is the new normal but it will drive Jews to Israel, so God is causing good out of evil. It is clear that the Jews are the “burdensome stone” to the world (Zechariah 12:3). Australia’s Prime Minister blames guns, not people, for the slaughter of Jews on Bondi Beach recently. The cancellation of New Year’s Eve activities worldwide is a reminder that “globalize the Intifadeh” is real.

At the same time, Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered more than any time in history. But here’s the twist of this story–you will be hard pressed to find details in today’s media.

5) It was made clear in 2025 that we are the “convergence generation.”We are on the cusp of digital money and an Antichrist system. Wars and rumors of wars cause us weariness and sorrow. The spirit of the Antichrist seems to reign. Natural disasters crush our spirit as we watch on various media platforms. The Middle East is a powder keg. The decline of society is staggering. Love is growing cold. People are without natural affection. It’s all coming together.

6) The rise of the predicted strong delusion (2 Thess. 2:11). When intelligent people promote delusional lies, you know the thinking is skewed and even demonic. We saw it over and over in 2025 with Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Nick Fuentes, and many more. Carlson rejected Israel and God’s people and embraced the terror capital of the world — Qatar. Delusion!

7) While most weren’t looking, artificial intelligence (AI) advanced to the degree that it can rule the world! Most Christians have no idea what this is leading to. Along with Israel’s re-birth, it may be THE most stunning end-time development. It is the game-changer. But most pay far more attention to the latest football game and pretend this is just a fantasy of last days’ watchers. AI will be Antichrist’s primary tool.

8) The Charlie Kirk assassination was meant for evil but God used it for good! Since that September tragedy, younger people are opening the Bible in record numbers, downloading Scripture apps, buying physical Bibles, and–most unexpectedly–walking back into churches. I’m cautious with the word “revival”, but one cannot ignore the spiritual fire that was lit in a final days’ oupouring of interest in the gospel in the Western world. This may be the biggest faith story of 2025.

9) The rise of aberrant prophetic theology is staggering. I am told Dispensationalism is in decline. The message of a literal Antichrist, Tribulation, Millennial Kingdom, special end-time role for Israel, pre-Tribulation Rapture, all are diminishing. Few care that the King is coming!

Theologies rising are Preterism (all prophecy happened in 70 AD), Kingdom Now/Dominionism, Amillennialism, Replacement Theology, and Postmillennialism. Simple “left behind” theology is in derision. Instead, the CHURCH will make the world better and better. Can you imagine???

10) My last point is to stress the supreme frustration that I must limit my observations to ten markers! There are hundreds! The world is rushing towards globalism. Violence and lawlessness are the order of the day. God’s timepiece, Israel, has enemies on seven sides! All creation groans! Islam is gaining ground.

So, the fact that things are all coming together—all falling into place—excites only a tiny remnant who will never grow weary of keeping their eyes on the sky! If you are among them, hang in thereHe is coming soon. As things continue to deteriorate, we may be left with only one hope—the blessed hope.

We are the convergence generation. Someone get excited about it. Hang on for an even wilder ride in 2026!

It’s better to sound the warnings and be mocked than have multitudes come to us and ask us, “Why didn’t you warn us of all of this and of all of the things to come?”

Iran's Currency is Collapsing

This article is interesting in a few ways.  First off it's prophetic because Iran is involved and we know they will be a main player in Ezekiel 38.  Secondly, it's interesting because it's another example what happens when no one wants your currency anymore.  "But Dennis, why don't they want Iran's currency?"

Because they don't trust that it will hold it's value.  Why?  Because they printed too much of their paper money and they have made it worth less.  If you work today for $20 and today you can trade that $20 for two Jimmy John's subway sandwiches then you might OK with that.  But what if you saw the price of Jimmy John's sandwiches go up to $30 next week and $40 a few weeks after that?  Then you aren't going to want to work for $20 anymore and you aren't going to hold the $20 bill your employer just paid you because you realize it's losing money the longer it sits in your pocket.

So you take your $20 and buy a garden rake today when you get paid.  But then everyone starts doing that.  And soon everyone starts raising their prices on everything.  If the cycle keeps going you will soon be in hyper-inflation and everyone starts freaking out because they have no idea what to do.

It sounds like Iran is about there.

Shopkeepers in the capital closed their businesses on Monday after Iran's hard-pressed currency hit new lows on the unofficial market.

"We had to protest. With this dollar price, we can't even sell a mobile phone case," a shop owner told the newspaper Etemad, AFP reported.

On Tuesday, many shops reopened, but according to the BBC's Persian site, parts of the large market in Tehran remain closed.

For several days, thousands of people have taken to the streets in several cities in Iran to protest against the runaway economy. Images from the Fars news agency, seen by AFP, show tear gas being used to disperse protesters in Tehran.

The discontent is rooted in the ailing economy, with skyrocketing inflation and a currency that has collapsed. The US dollar was trading for about 1.42 million Iranian rials on Sunday compared to 820,000 rials a year ago, according to AFP.

The protests are the largest since 2022, when 22-year-old Mahsa Zhina Amini died in custody after being arrested by the morality police.

On Monday evening, President Masoud Pezeshkian published a message on social media urging the government to listen to the protesters.

"I have asked the interior minister to listen to the legitimate demands of the protesters by engaging in dialogue with their representatives so that the government can do everything in its power to resolve the problems and act responsibly," President Masoud Pezeshkian said, according to the state news agency Irna.

Iran's Central Bank Governor Mohammad Reza Farzin has resigned, according to Iranian media.

Analysts attribute the economic turmoil to a number of factors, from poor governance to political decisions that have isolated the country's economy. Former US President Donald Trump's increased efforts to restrict Iran's oil sales abroad and the June war with Israel, in which the US also participated, have contributed.

In December, the inflation rate rose to 42.2 percent and many critics see it as a sign of approaching hyperinflation.

The currency crisis has made life difficult for many Iranians, whose wages and savings are falling in value while the prices of goods and services are soaring.

42-year-old Tehran resident Omar, who does not want to give his last name, tells the New York Times that his salary has dropped by almost half in just under two months.

"Nowadays it even feels difficult to hang out with friends because we can barely afford a simple coffee," he told the newspaper.

Here;  Protests in Iran over skyrocketing prices and collapsing currency | Sweden Herald

When people can't afford to go have a coffee with a friend because a cup of coffee costs more than he makes in a day....people are going to get real mad and real scared.

So what might this be setting Iran up for?  Maybe a brand new digital currency?  One that requires a mark on your body in order to buy or sell anything?

Also remember that this WILL one day happen in America.  We hope that it doesn't happen until after the rapture.

Leftists Lose It Over Declaration That Christmas is About Christ

The word Christmas literally has the word Christ built right in!  And yet America has become so godless that the mention of Christ at Christmas has now enraged 50% of the country.  How much longer do you think America will stand when the division and delusion is now running so deep?  How much longer can we coexist with folks who don’t understand that Christ is the reason for the season, and that men can’t have babies, and that babies living in the womb of their mother shouldn’t be murdered, and that 12 year old girls shouldn’t be given hormone blockers and carved up to become boys?

How large is the remnant in America that truly believes that all scripture is God-breathed and have surrendered their lives to Christ?  How long can that number of folks continue to restrain evil for the rest of the nation?

**********************

Most Americans likely spent their Christmas enjoying some long-overdue time away from the internet with family and friends. But the left-wing virtue signalers and keyboard warriors would have no such thing. Instead, they spent the day losing their minds over an X post from the Department of Homeland Security acknowledging the religious nature of the holiday.

Here was the post that launched a thousand angry liberal tirades, which DHS released at 11:18 a.m. on December 24: “Merry Christmas, America. We are blessed to share a nation and a Savior.”

That’s it. A simple declaration of the Christian truth of Christmas was enough to send the liberal outrage mob into total panic mode.

Journalist James Surowiecki had this to say: “A government agency endorsing Christianity is blatantly, comically unconstitutional. But blatant unconstitutionality is par for the course for this administration.” Notorious neoconservative and Never-Trumper Bill Kristol, meanwhile, declared the post, which included a 90-second video of iconic Christmas footage, to be “un-American” and “un-Christian.” (Yes, that’s right – Kristol’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has apparently become so severe that he now believes declaring the truth of Christmas to be “un-Christian.”)

Progressive politician and writer Aaron Regunberg posted, “Man I hate Nazis” – and then promptly blocked replies to his comment. Retired journalism professor and author Seth Abramson highlighted the “and a Savior” portion of the DHS post and called it “anti-American hatred of the United States and its founding documents and all its people and all its traditions.” (He also blocked replies.) Former GOP Congressman Joe Walsh – now an avowed Trump critic – saidDHS should be sued. MSNBC host Catherine Rampell posted, “RIP the First Amendment.”

Of course, the DHS post is in no way a violation of the First Amendment, which states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Anyone who claims that a government agency wishing the country a Merry Christmas and issuing a simple declaration of Christian faith is akin to Congress making a law establishing a state religion is either a liar or hopelessly stupid. The post falls well within the scope of historical acknowledgements of faith from government actors, including presidential proclamations, speeches, and declarations from Congress.

Even a cursory glance at American history reveals that the Founding Fathers had a deep Christian faith, which they believed not only should but must underpin the government they established. As John Adams wrote, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

The founding generation understood that the American experiment in self-government was the culmination of 2,000 years of Western Civilization – a civilization built upon a foundation of Christianity. Not just Christian values, but Christian faith is defined by a belief in one supreme God who became flesh in the form of Jesus Christ to die on the cross, rise again on the third day, and save humanity from sin. Inalienable rights, representative government, free speech, checks and balances, rule of law – everything that makes America what it is stems from a conscious effort to create a society and government that advances Biblical principles.

The purpose of the First Amendment’s establishment clause was to prevent destructive squabbles between and among Catholics and various Protestant sects that would inevitably arise if the fledgling United States government adopted a state religious institution like the Church of England. The First Amendment was never intended to eradicate religion from public life; to the contrary, it protects the expression of faith by public officials and entities.

Successive generations of American leaders have understood this – even some liberals. President Franklin Roosevelt sent a Bible with a personalized note to every member of the armed forces on the eve of World War II. President Bill Clinton’s 2001 Christmas message stated, “The beloved Christmas story itself is a story of light for, as the Gospel of John tells us, Jesus came into the world as ‘the true light’ that illumines all humankind.” During the lighting of the National Christmas tree in 2016, President Barack Obama similarly made reference to “our Savior.”

When these Democrats issued virtually identical proclamations to the one just issued by DHS, no one batted an eye. So, why now? Why is it that liberals chose to make this their final cause célèbre of 2025?

One explanation is that the left is now so blinded by hatred for Trump that they reflexively oppose anything he or his administration does. This would seem to explain some of the reaction – particularly statements that wishing the country a Merry Christmas on Christmas Eve makes someone a “Nazi.”

Just Call it Islam

Islam is simply not compatible with Western civilization and Western laws and customs.  As a large group, Islam seeks to dominate and force submission from anyone who refuses to convert.  They come in small numbers, then have lots of babies, then they start to exert control, then they dominate.

And why do all the Muslims in America vote Democrat?  Is it because they are pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ?  Nope!  It’s because they know the Democrats are the most clueless to their plans.  It’s much easier for them to fool the woke folks.

***********************

Almost a quarter-century has passed since September 11, when 19 Islamic radicals murdered nearly 3,000 people in line with the blunt teaching of “The Verse of the Sword” (Quran 9:5).  That cataclysm should have sufficed to cause Western leaders to examine the doctrines of the Muhammadan religion in order to understand why the killers carried out this crime.

But that didn’t happen.  Instead, we can summarize the Western leaders’ response in two statements.

Nine days after 9/11, President Bush 43 stated in his speech before Congress,

The terrorists practice a fringe form of Islamic extremism that has been rejected by Muslim scholars and the vast majority of Muslim clerics — a fringe movement that perverts the peaceful teachings of Islam.

Bush 43 also commented that Islam’s “teachings are good and peaceful, and those who commit evil in the name of Allah blaspheme the name of Allah.  The terrorists are traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself.”

After the December 14, 2025 jihadist mass murder of 15 Jews at Bondi Beach, Australian prime minister Anthony Albanese indicated that his government would focus on measures such as “increasing penalties for existing offences for hate speech” and “gun laws.”

These attitudinal bookends of the Western elites from 9/11 to Bondi Beach declare that 1) Islam is a peaceful faith hijacked by violent fringe loons, and 2) Islam is not mentionable because guns are the problem.

Does anyone with an ability to reason actually believe our globalist grandees’ cowardly drivel?

Happily, it seems that at long last, the groundswell of concerned citizens in the West is strong enough to mute the mendacity emanating from the halls of power.  Regular Joes and Janes from Manchester to Melbourne to Milwaukee to Munich are expressing loudly on social media and in public displays of disaffection that we the people are tired of the official lies about Islam in our midst.  We are done politely accepting as cultural novelty the clearly misogynistic hijab wardrobe; done being insulted for enjoying our family dog; done having our magnanimity returned with ingratitude and invectives against our culture, traditions, and lifestyle.  We want our Christmas markets open without harassment and constant threats.  We are sick of 5 A.M. calls to prayer.  We’ve had it with streets blocked by hordes of disruptive praying zealots.  We are beyond fed up with deadly knife, gun, and vehicular attacks under the war cry of “Allahu akbar.”

Some of our leaders are starting to experience the epiphany that Mr. and Mrs. America have increasingly recognized over the decades since 9/11.  Of note, our director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, told the AmFest crowd:

When we talk about the threat of Islamism, this political ideology, there is no such thing as individual freedom or liberty. As Charlie [Kirk] said over and over again, it is fundamentally incompatible with our nation’s foundation of freedom.

The phrase “fundamentally incompatible” is an apt description of Muhammadanism in relation to Western civilization.  Taking the Quran at face value, assimilation in non-Muslim cultures is disallowed (3:28 and 4:144).  Why?  Because Allah has declared Muslims the best of all creatures, whereas disbelievers are the worst (98:6-8).  These best creatures are to fight disbelievers until the latter exhibit full submission (9:29).  It is quite logical that Allah’s exalted class — Muslims — should never bend the knee to any non-Muslim.

Thus, Western societies (which have at our religious and civic core the teachings of the Jewish and Christian scriptures) are fooling ourselves if we think ethnic groups whose religious identity is devotedly Muslim will assimilate comfortably into our cultures.  Instead, the last two decades have shown us a four-step process emanating from Islamic ideology vis-a-vis the West: First, they migrate.  Second, they populate.  Third, they agitate.  And fourth, they dominate.  By step four, we suffer all manner of trouble, up to and including horrific acts of violence.  A prime example of this process is evident in Minnesota, albeit with a bloodless (so far) outcome: A Trump-hating corruptocrat who has openly declared her primary loyalty to Somalia is elected to Congress, and her constituents have stolen billions of taxpayer dollars through blatant fraud.  Whether any of that ill-gotten gain ended up funding Islamic terrorists in East Africa is anyone’s guess, but it’s certainly not outside the realm of possibility.

It is good that some among the West’s leaders are finally articulating that Islamic radicalism is imperiling our civilization.  But in this struggle, there is verbiage that is still a hurdle to overcome: The idea that “Islamism” — not “Islam” — is the problem.  Like Gabbard, Glenn Beck has often advocated a view that “Islamism” is a dangerous political ideology, whereas “Islam” is a hallowed monotheistic way of life that many sincere people spiritually follow.

The problem is that this dichotomy is not in concert with the comprehensive doctrine and praxis of the Quran, Hadith, and Sira.  In this canon, the theological and political elements are irremediably intertwined.  Islamic holy writ does not separate the religious from the political.  This is why Turkish President Erdogan could confidently assert, “Islam cannot be either ‘moderate’ or ‘not moderate.’ Islam can only be one thing” and that “the concept of ‘moderate Islam’ has received attention. But the patent of this concept originated in the West.”

When well-meaning Westerners differentiate between “Islamism” and “Islam,” they delude themselves with a verbal narcotic.  By this rhetorical device, they convince themselves that somehow we can accept some gelatinous type of nice Islam (in the form of people who are polite, sociable, non-ideological, mildly religious, and generally modern) into the West without concern because they aren’t involved in “Islamism.”  But even those who practice only the spiritual elements of Islam are at odds with the West.

Hillaire Belloc described Islam as a grand heresy: Islam rejects the crucifixion (Quran 4:157), the divinity of Christ (5:75), and the Trinity (4:171).  So in Western societies where Christianity is the default religious setting, Islam’s religious nature is utterly heterodox.  As a medieval, anti-trinitarian doctrine that demands that its adherents fight infidels, Islam is by nature at cross purposes with societies that subscribe to broad Christian civic precepts, celebrate Christian holidays, and exist in a Christian cultural milieu.

Islam’s totality necessitates that its religious character cannot be disconnected from Allah’s bellicose socio-communist directives of conquest.  This means that any practitioners of the nice Islam envisioned by Glenn Beck are actually ignoring the equally exigent political components of their faith, thereby making them apostates.

“Islamism” is ultimately a fiction hoped for by wishful thinkers who eagerly desire to believe that biblical values are universal across religious lines.  Given that we have experienced in just this century round after round of jihad violence and can easily find doctrines in the Islamic holy books to support such atrocities, it is evident that Western values and Muslim values are most clearly not compatible.

So let’s ask this question: Is it wise for the West to continue to make excuses for semi-Muslims by trying to parse out “Islamism” from “Islam”?  No, it is not.

I prefer to heed Laura Loomer’s direct recommendation: “Just call it Islam.”

Self-proclaimed Prophet Tells Followers a Global Flood is Coming

Another crazy story about some “Christian” who says he’s a prophet and says God told him to build some arks because on Christmas Day 2025 a flood would end the world.  I have a basic Sunday school observation;  didn’t the thousands of his “Christian” followers have even a basic understanding of scripture?  Doesn’t even a 7 yr old at Sunday school know the story of Noah’s ark?  Don’t we all learn the story very early on that every time we see a rainbow that’s to remind us of the promise that God will never destroy the world again with a flood?

Of course I know the answer to my own question.  Wolves in sheep’s clothing depend on ignorance of the flock.  This is why it’s so important that we all know our Bibles so a wolf can lead us astray.

*********************

A self-proclaimed prophet in Ghana has quietly moved the goalposts after his dramatic prediction that the world would end in a catastrophic flood on Christmas Day failed to materialize.

According to reporting by News18Ebo Enoch, who also goes by “Ebo Noah,” previously warned followers that nonstop rain would begin on December 25 and continue for three years, wiping out everything in its path.

The only salvation, he claimed, would be a series of Noah-style wooden arks he said God instructed him to build.

As December 25 came and went with no flood, no rain, and no apocalypse, Ebo quickly pivoted. The end of the world, he now says, has not been canceled, just “postponed.”

According to the self-proclaimed prophet, God was so impressed with his prayers, fasting, and “donations” that He granted humanity extra time. The revised divine instruction? Build even more arks and expand the project so additional people can be “saved.”

Ebo Noah:
God reveals to redeem. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated, and I have built. Through my prayers, I received another vision. In that vision, when you look at the number of people coming from all over the country and all over the world into the Ark, the expansion of the Ark could not contain them.

So I shared my vision with some great men of God who also interceded with me. After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more Arks, in addition to the tent that will contain all of us.
