U.S. to Attack Syria "At Any Moment"

It must be driving the Obama supporters INSANE to watch their beloved talking about WMD's, supporting "freedom fighters" and "regime change", and the worst blow to their worldview is that their savior is about to attack another country.

Wait a second....what happened to HOPE AND CHANGE?  He was the dude who was to deliver us from all evil, hit the reset button with Russia and usher in a 'whole new world'?

And now we have Russia sending him warnings and it appears that the missiles are getting ready to fly into Syria and start blowing the crap out of everything...and possibly ignite WWIII in the process.

Syria anticipates a US military attack "at any moment," a security official is quoted as telling AFP on Saturday, just hours after UN investigators probing an alleged chemical weapons attack by pro-government forces left the country.

"We are expecting an attack at any moment. We are ready to retaliate at any moment," said the Syrian security official, who spoke to AFP on condition of anonymity.

With international debate raging over the proper response to President Bashar Assad's purported use of chemical weapons against innocent civilians near Damascus 10 days ago, a US-led assault on Syria is just hours away, Arab media sources said over the weekend.

In a sign that the government is growing more convinced that an American attack is imminent, Syrian propaganda authorities have instructed the various television stations in the country to begin broadcasting special "war programming" in a bid to raise morale among troops, Israel Radio reported.

According to the report, all of the country's television channels were told on Saturday morning to merge their broadcasts into one and flash images of a more patriotic nature.

To those of us with a Biblical worldview, we really shouldn't be concerned because our Master told us as much, "All these things MUST happen, but fear not!"

With every passing day we see more and more evidence that our Heavenly Father is up to something big...and since we are the bride of his Beloved Son we should have NO FEAR of these things that are coming upon the earth to test men.  Remember, greater is HE THAT IS IN YOU than he that is in the world.

"Thank You Lord, For Abortion Rights"

People continue to go insane.  On what universe would anyone believe that the Creator of life itself would be the provider and approver of ripping little babies out of their mother's wombs?

Well, I guess it may be in one universe called Iowa.

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olson joined 50 pro-abortion activists in an extended prayer for abortion rights during a rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday. The noon event was meant to fire-up liberals prior to an afternoon hearing across the street conducted by the Iowa Board of Medicine regarding tele-med abortions.

They made the unusual decision, for Democrats, to begin the event with a prayer. This was likely in response to a prayer vigil being conducted by pro-life activists at the same time nearby.

Des Moines activist Midge Slater took the podium and spent five and a half minutes thanking God for abortion rights, abortion doctors and taxpayer funding for abortions. She also referred to the decision to have an abortion as “a blessing”.

Slater, an activist who has ties to both labor and women’s right groups, delivered a number of notable highlights. Praising “the blessing of choice,” she went on to thank God for abortion doctors and to appeal that the Lord ensure elected officials continue to afford women the right to terminate.

 

“We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care…,” Slater said. “We pray for our elected officials, that they will always support a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions.”

UK Rejects Syria Action While France Still Backs USA

As the war drums continue to beat in Syria, the UK has said they will not commit blood and or treasure to send any sort of message or consequence to Syria for using chemical weapons.

Any possibility of British involvement in a military campaign in Syria has been effectively ruled out after British lawmakers voted down the prospect in parliament, costing the US the nation’s closest ally in a potential strike.

By a 285 to 272 margin British MPs rejected the government’s motion to support in principle military action against Syria. A second vote was due to be held on committing to action following the report by United Nations weapons inspectors, who are currently investigating claims that President Bashar Assad used chemical weapons on civilians.

However, FRANCE is ready to side with the USA.

Mr Hollande (of France) said the UK vote, in which parliament rejected a government motion supporting the principle of military action, made no difference to France's position.

"Each country is sovereign to participate or not in an operation. That is valid for Britain as it is for France," he said.

He said that if the UN Security Council was unable to act, a coalition would form including the Arab League and European countries.

"But there are few countries which can have the capacity of enforcing any sanction through the appropriate measures," he said.

"France will be part of it. France is ready."

So now all we have to do is wait to see the results of the UN Weapons inspectors....who are due to leave Syria on Saturday.

The USA has already moved warships into the Mediterranean, off the coast of Syria, and I'm guessing they are just waiting to get the orders from President Obama and they will probably start shooting Cruise Missiles and taking out strategic targets.

So will this attack make things "better".....or will these missile strikes make the situation in Syria even worse?

No one knows.

Russia and China are warning us that it will make things worse.  Of course their ally in Syria is Assad so certainly neither of them want to see him fall.

If I was a betting man, I would say it will make things worse.  I could see a scenario where shooting Cruise Missiles into Syria would be like throwing gasoline on a fire.  I think all it's going to do is provoke Assad and possibly get him to do even more heinous things.

Of course NOT doing anything to punish the chemical use could also make things worse too...in that the evil men with chemicals will then have a firm understanding that they can continue to use chemicals and expect NO REACTION from the civilized world....except STRONGLY WORDED letters....oooooooo!....scary.....not another strongly worded letter!!

Syria and Iran Issue Explicit Warnings if USA Attacks

Again, I am sorry for the slow down in blogging at this very important time....but I have a good excuse...we are in El Paso hanging out with my oldest boy before he deploys to Afghanistan.  So please be in prayer for him and his unit from Litchfield, MN over the coming months and pray that God will be with them and that they will all return home safely next July.

As one reader put it, "Things are certainly coming down to the wire in Syria!"

Yes they are!!  We most certainly could be hours, days or weeks away from our world being changed in a very big way.

And of course, Israel is at the center of it all...exactly as prophecy says they will be.

A senior Syrian official on Monday issued a first direct warning that if attacked, his country would retaliate against Israel. Khalaf Muftah, a senior Baath Party official who used to serve as Syria’s assistant information minister, said in a radio interview that Damascus would consider Israel “behind the [Western] aggression and [it] will therefore come under fire.”

“We have strategic weapons and we’re capable of responding,” he said. “Normally the strategic weapons are aimed at Israel.”

Muftah concluded with a warning that “If the US or Israel make the mistake of taking advantage of the chemical issue… the region will go up in flames… that will affect security not only in the region but across the world.”

His words were echoed by Iranian officials, who on Monday shrugged off the threat of a US attack on its close ally Syria, but said that if such a strike were to take place, Israel would suffer.

 

“[The Americans] are incapable of starting a new war in the region, because of their lacking economic capabilities and their lack of morale,” said Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of the Republican Guards’ elite Basij force.

 

“No military attack will be waged against Syria,” said Hossein Sheikholeslam, a member of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly. “Yet, if such an incident takes place, which is impossible, the Zionist regime will be the first victim of a military attack on Syria.”

The chess pieces of the VERY Last Days are being moved into position.

 

Even an atheist told me today, "If someone from Syria decides to push some chemicals into Israel and a few dozen Jews are killed by gas...Israel will literally flatten Damascus."

 

Isaiah 17 promises that one day Damascus will be flattened...so are we going to see it?  Or are we listening for the trumpet call because Jesus is going to take us out of this world first?

 

I don't know.  I could make a case for either way.

 

Please continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  And also that many will be brought to the Lord as they witness the earth being shook from all sorts of different angles all at the same time.

15 Signs Obama's Going to War in Syria

The Muslim world is in a tail spin.  It seems Satan has released his demons of war and now the Syrians are releasing nerve gas on their citizens....causing little kids to tremble, foam at the mouth and gasp for air before they die a miserable death.

The call has gone out from the world, "What are we going to do to stop the carnage?"  And of course an even louder call goes out from the world, "What is the USA going to do to lead the world in stopping the carnage?"

What can we do?  Give bullets to Al Qaeda and a bunch of other Muslim terrorists in Syria who are Allah-bent on overthrowing Assad...so they can make one more radical Muslim state right next to Israel?

Or should we support Assad who is a brutal dictator and also a "pathological liar"...according to Colin Powell?

Well, here are 15 signs that Obama has already made up his mind to go to war in Syria.

The Obama administration seems absolutely determined to help radical Islamic jihadists that have beheaded Christians, that have massacred entire Christian villages, and that have pledged loyalty to al-Qaeda topple the Assad regime and take over Syria.  Yes, the Assad regime is horrible, but if these jihadist lunatics take control it will destabilize the entire region, make the prospect of a major regional war much more probable, and plunge the entire nation of Syria into a complete and utter nightmare.  It has been estimated that somewhere around 100,000 people have already been killed in the civil war in Syria, and now it looks like the U.S. military and the rest of NATO plan to become directly involved in the conflict.  The Obama administration is actually considering an attack on Syria even though the American people are overwhelmingly against it, Obama does not have Congressional approval to start a war, and he will never get approval for military action from the UN because it will be blocked by Russia.  This is setting up to become a colossal foreign policy disaster for the United States.

A potential war with Syria has been brought to the forefront because of a chemical weapons attack near Damascus last week that killed as many as 1,400 people.  The Obama administration and several other western nations are blaming this attack on the Assad regime.

But others are pointing out that it would make absolutely no sense for the Assad regime to do such a thing.  They appear to be winning the civil war, and Assad knows that Obama has previously said that the use of chemical weapons in Syria would be a "red line" for the United States.

So why would the Assad regime launch a brutal chemical weapons attack against women and children just miles from where UN inspectors were staying?

Why would Assad risk war with the United States and the rest of NATO?

Assad would have to be extremely stupid or extremely suicidal to do such a thing.

#1 Syria has agreed to allow UN officials to inspect the site of the recent chemical weapons attack that killed up to 1,400 people, but a "senior U.S. official" says that such an inspection would be "too late to be credible".

#2 According to ABC News, the White House is saying that there is "very little doubt" that the Assad regime was behind the deadly chemical weapons attack last week.

#3 Four U.S. warships with ballistic missiles are moving into position in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. If the command is given, they will be able to rain Tomahawk cruise missiles down on targets inside Syria within minutes...

Foreshadowing the Big Fire Yet to Come?

By now you probably all have seen the top headlines about the wild fires burning in California.  The so called, "Rim Fire" is burning in Yosemite Park and is pretty close to making our list as the "biggest fire EVER" to burn in California.

I was just in Yellowstone a few weeks ago and attended a lecture by a park ranger whose topic was the wild fires of 1988 that burned 30% of Yellowstone.  It's simply amazing to see how GOOD the fire was for Yellowstone.  The trees burn away and give opportunity for grass to grow.  The elk, deer, and bison are literally treated to a smorgasbord of forage materials within weeks of the fire passing through.

So I'm not real worried about a bunch of trees burning down....that is just the natural cycle of forests.

However, this fire is threatening the water supply and the electric supply to San Francisco...a city that has a reputation of being one of the most decadent and GOD-SCOFFING cities in the country.  So it will be interesting to watch.

With scant cooperation from Mother Nature, fire crews waged a battle with few gains Sunday against the giant Rim Fire, which voraciously consumed dry brush and trees as it marched toward the Hetch Hetchy reservoir in Yosemite National Park.

 

As of Sunday evening, the fire had burned 224 square miles -- more than the area occupied together by San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale and Campbell. It remained only 7 percent contained. Nearly 2,850 firefighters from the U.S. Forest Service, Cal Fire and numerous local agencies were battling California's largest wildfire. Southerly afternoon winds up to 20 miles per hour pushed the fire north, said Cal Fire Captain Mike Mohler.

Although the Rim Fire is more than 100 miles from the Bay Area, it still could threaten San Francisco's electric supply if it damages the power system originating in O'Shaughnessy Dam at Hetch Hetchy reservoir. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission has been forced to shut down two of its three hydroelectric power stations near Hetch Hetchy, and Gov. Jerry Brown has extended a state of emergency to include San Francisco because the reservoir is a major source of electricity and water for the city.

The Bible clearly says that one day the entire earth will be destroyed with fire.  The first time God destroyed things with water but the next time he will use fire.

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.  The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare."  2 Peter 3:10

As we watch fires raging out of control all over the Western USA....it makes one wonder if this is simply one more example of foreshadowing what is to come?  Mankind is in control of NOTHING...although we like to pretend and believe that we have everything under control.

How foolish we are.

Seen Any Dead Animials Lately?

I saw a news report yesterday about a bunch of dolphins washing up on the beach.  Today I saw a blurb that scientists are guessing it could be measles.

Remember how the thousands of black birds fell out of the sky a few years ago?  Some blunt force killed them while they were in the sky and they fell to earth dead.  Some say they collided with a huge UFO.

But those are just a few examples....and there are hundreds more.

The OT Prophets warned us what would happen as the day of the Lord approached.

"I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea.  The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth."

When you see thousands gassed in Syria, Egypt descending into chaos, volcanoes going off, the gay agenda exploding in America and contemplate the financial collapse of the Western world....it is getting near impossible to ignore that SOMETHING BIG IS GOING ON.

We can all pray to Jesus that He will come quickly for us, and pray that we will NOT have to see the massive hardship that will be coming for earth.
