Biden Starts Building a Wall on Mexican Border

 In talking to my liberal friend who always votes Democrat, the reason that Democrats hate the word "wall" is because Donald Trump used that word so much in all his campaign. The word wall actually can trigger them.  He says Democrats are not against border security but that with technology today they should be able to figure out a way to stop illegals without constructing a huge wall.

Of course that's pretty silly.  Walls can work great to slow folks down and give border patrol a chance to catch up.  Israel has a wall.  Saudi Arabia just built a 600 mile wall.  Poland has a wall.  Nancy Pelosi has a wall around her property.  The White House has a big fence.

So today's news that Biden is actually building a wall on the southern border is actually hilarious and it is triggering his Democratic supporters.

No matter how they try to spin it, one thing is clear about the Biden administration's decision to waive more than 20 laws and regulations, including environmental restrictions, to build more sections of a wall along America's southern border in South Texas. The Democrats who demonized President Donald Trump for his focus on stopping illegal immigration and characterized his quest to build such a barrier as "racism" have been mugged by reality.

Trump's opponents smeared every effort to put a lid on the problem of illegal immigration as evidence of prejudice against Latinos. Democrats throughout the country declared municipalities to be "sanctuary cities," championed amnesty and characterized the minimal attempts by Immigration and Customs Enforcement to deal with ever-growing crowds of migrants as oppression and police state tactics.

So, it was little surprise that no sooner had Biden won the 2020 election promising a "more compassionate" approach to illegal immigration, a massive surge at the border began. Since then, Biden halted much of the operations of border enforcement, undermined the work of the embattled border patrol by falsely accusing them of abuses and racism, and ended the building of the wall that Trump failed to complete.

As a result, the number of illegal border crossings—many by individuals pretending to be asylum seekers rather than economic migrants—has surged to record proportions. In the 2022 fiscal year, it was up to 2.7 million with more than 2.8 million in fiscal year 2023. In recent months, the numbers have grown even higher, adding to a humanitarian crisis for overwhelmed border communities.

The Russian-Turkey Alliance Deepens

 I don't think I need to remind any of my readers about Ezekiel 38 and the alliance that will build with Russia, Turkey and Iran.

Now, for the first time in human history, this alliance is coming together.

Remember that Turkey is part of NATO, which was developed to counter the Soviet Union!  And here we have Turkey trying to climb into bed with Putin while still part of NATO??

It can only be because God is starting to put hooks in their jaws and drag them to the end of His-Story.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is trying to get the most from Turkey's theoretical Western allies while in reality allying with Russian President Vladimir Putin - like sort of a Muslim Fidel Castro.

In an article published last month, this author suggested:

"Once again, Western optimists are misreading Erdoğan, that he is 'rekindling fraught relations with the West.' He just needs Western money, a few pats on the shoulder and legitimacy for his sultanship."

The New York Times, in an editorial, woke up and agreed:

"Just two months ago, many in the West thought they had seen indications that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey was shifting away from what they saw as his overly chummy relationship with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.

"Turkey allowed a group of celebrated Ukrainian fighters to return to the battlefield, prompting Russia to accuse it of violating an agreement. And Mr. Erdoğan finally dropped his resistance to allowing Sweden to join NATO, strengthening the military alliance aimed at countering Russia.

"But any sense of a significant change in Mr. Erdoğan's balancing act between Russia and the West appeared to evaporate on Monday, when he and Mr. Putin stood side by side after a meeting in the Russian resort town of Sochi and spoke of expanding cooperation."

Back in July, the West wanted to maintain its comfortable sleep over bitter facts when Erdoğan unexpectedly green-lit Sweden's bid to join NATO. This move provoked a degree of celebration and praise that individual leaders rarely get at a summit. U.S. President Joe Biden applauded Erdoğan's "courage, leadership, and diplomacy." "This is a historic day," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said. Erdoğan could not have been read more mistakenly.

At the Sochi summit on September 4, Erdoğan, speaking as if he were Putin's spokesman, suggested that "Ukraine should soften its position on the grain corridor deal," referring to the UN-brokered Black Sea Grain Corridor Agreement, from which Russia had withdrawn on July 17. Having taken orders from the boss, Erdoğan returned home with an agenda to convince Western parties to the deal on whatever terms Moscow insists should be in any new agreement.

Erdoğan needs Western money to prevent Turkey's economic suicide. He needs U.S.-made fighter jets to maintain a delicate power balance over the Aegean skies. He needs Western pats on the shoulder to win legitimacy for his undemocratic one-man rule. But he wants all of these cookies without having to give up Russia. Over the past years, Erdoğan has made Turkey addicted to Russia, like a junkie to a dealer.

Russia is building -- and will own -- Turkey's first nuclear power plant in Akkuyu on the Mediterranean coast. In Sochi, Erdoğan and Putin agreed to build a second Russian nuclear power plant, planned for Sinop on the Black Sea coast.

In 2022, Russian exports to Turkey reached $60 billion, making the country the biggest source of Turkey's imports. In 2021, Russia ranked second after China, with exports worth $29 billion to Turkey. Turkey's crude oil imports from Russia rose from 10 million tons in 2021 to 19 million tons in 2022. 

This means Russia supplied 41% of Turkey's total oil imports in 2022. Turkey's energy watchdog said that in May-June of 2023, Russia's share of oil imports reached 50%. Also in 2022, Russia also supplied 39% of Turkey's natural gas. Russia is Turkey's top energy supplier.

Five million Russian tourists visited Turkey in 2022. The head of Turkish construction companies' union, Erdal Eren, said that Turkish companies hold $18 billion to $20 billion in their Russian construction portfolio.

Against this backdrop, it was appalling to hear an EU ambassador in Ankara tell me that he was appalled that Erdoğan said that a) he trusts Russia as much as he trusts the West, and that b) Ankara could "part ways" with the European Union if necessary. Erdogan's ultranationalist ally, Devlet Bahçeli, immediately endorsed the cheap bluff: "We're done with the EU."

That is the way Erdoğan does horse trading. Sadly, each time, the gullible West gets cheated.

Erdoğan's Turkey is one of the countries continually breaking Western sanctions on Russia. Earlier in September, the US State Department imposed sanctions on five Turkish shipping and trade companies for repairing Russian Defense Ministry vessels, transporting Russian military goods, and helping Russia to evade sanctions.

US Debt Spiral is Reaching Terminal Phase

 We have blogged on this topic so many times in the past 15 years.  We don't know why the USA hasn't collapsed under a pile of debt already except that the Lord has been maintaining the "faith and confidence" in the US Dollar.  Why?   Because the rapture is near and that event will certainly collapse it.  That is our BLESSED HOPE anyway.

So think of person who spends more money than they earn.  They can go buy a boat, a car, a vacation, new furniture, fun vacations and they can party like rock starts right now!!  But in the next months the debt payments will begin.  Soon they don't have enough money to make their payments so they take a cash advance on their credit card to make the boat payment.  And next they take out another credit card to take a cash advance to pay the minimum payment on the first credit card.  But the damage has been done.  The terminal phase of their debt spiral has begun.

That's where America is now.  I hate to say it, but the ship has hit the ice berg and it's GOING TO SINK.  We just don't know exactly when and how many casualties will be result.

The Bible tells us that the world will be on some type of digital currency during the Great Tribulation and we are well on that way.

If you are going to go out, you might as well do it with a bang.  At the beginning of June, our national debt was sitting at $31,467,639,287,894.39.  Today, it has risen to $33,442,148,619,617.43.  That means that we have added almost two trillion dollars to the national debt in just three months.  

It is the largest single debt in the entire history of our planet, and it will never be paid off.  Our debt spiral has reached a terminal phase, and all we can do now is prolong the agony.  

If we keep taking on more debt at an exponential rate, we may be able to extend our seemingly endless party for a little while longer.  As for the bright future that our children and grandchildren were supposed to have, we destroyed that a long time ago, and so it doesn't really matter what we do now.

What our politicians are doing to us is truly a crime against humanity.

And I am not just talking about the United States.  All over the world, politicians have been on the greatest debt binge in the history of the human race, and for quite a few years it seemed like they were getting away with it.

But now interest rates are rising and there is great turmoil in the bond markets.  The following comes from CNN...

A slump in government bonds around the world has pushed up the cost of some nations' debt to levels not seen in more than a decade. That's bad news for governments in the red but also for the wallets of millions of mortgage borrowers, stock investors and businesses.

The sell-off has been fueled by expectations among investors that the world's major central banks will keep interest rates "higher for longer" to bring inflation down to their targets.

It works like this: Governments looking to raise cash for public services and investments issue bonds. A bond provides a way to borrow money from investors for a set length of time, with the obligation to make regular interest payments.

In recent weeks, bond yields have reached very alarming levels.

If this continues, governments all over the world will soon be facing enormous problems...

When official interest rates rise, so do investors' expectations for returns on bonds, known as yields. This creates an incentive for investors to sell the bonds they currently hold and buy newly issued ones that offer higher interest payments. Selling bonds reduces prices. So, in short, when yields rise, bond prices fall.

And yields have most definitely been rising: The yield on 30-year US government bonds, also known as Treasuries, hit 5% on Tuesday for the first time since 2007. In the United Kingdom, the yield on 30-year bonds also reached 5% this week, the highest level in more than two decades.

Yields on German long-dated bonds are back to levels last seen on the eve of the eurozone debt crisis in 2011. Yields on Italy's 10-year bonds hit 5% on Wednesday, the highest level since 2012, when that crisis was in full swing.

There is no way out of this mess now.

If we would have acted responsibly all along, we would have gotten a much different outcome.

But at this point our fate is pretty much sealed.

Back in 1995 we had $5 trillion of national debt which was 65% of GDP.

Today it is $34 trillion and over 133% of GDP.  History would show that nations simply don't survive when their debt to GDP surpasses 130%.

Our hope is in Jesus.  It simply can't be in Trump, Biden, Congress and the American voter.

Trump’s WH Chief of Staff Goes Off on Trump

  For any of my readers who still actually believe that “if only Trump can get back into the Whitehouse then everything will get better”, I think you need to pay attention to what some of his closest associates are saying about the man.  He is not going to save America.  I doubt strongly whether he has surrendered his life to Christ.  Only God knows the condition of his soul but I find it hard to see any Christian fruit he is bearing.  I loved what Trump did for Israel, and just like God can use Nebuchadnezzer to accomplish His purposes, he can use Trump or anyone else He chooses.  I think maybe it’s time we put less faith in our political leaders and more faith on the promises of God.  We’ve said it before but America will get the leaders that she deserves, and quite frankly we don’t deserve much.

John Kelly, the longest-serving White House chief of staff for Donald Trump, offered his harshest criticism yet of the former president in an exclusive statement to CNN.

Kelly set the record straight with on-the-record confirmation of a number of damning stories about statements Trump made behind closed doors attacking US service members and veterans, listing a number of objectionable comments Kelly witnessed Trump make firsthand.

“What can I add that has not already been said?” Kelly said, when asked if he wanted to weigh in on his former boss in light of recent comments made by other former Trump officials. “A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.

“A person who is not truthful regarding his position on the protection of unborn life, on women, on minorities, on evangelical Christians, on Jews, on working men and women,” Kelly continued. “A person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about. A person who cavalierly suggests that a selfless warrior who has served his country for 40 years in peacetime and war should lose his life for treason – in expectation that someone will take action. A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.

The Next 12 Months Will be the Most Explosive in History

On so many fronts it seems that America is right on the edge of something really big and maybe really bad.  The majority of Americans no longer fear the Lord, are willing to kill a baby for convenience, can’t tell you what a woman is and are medicated for depression and anxiety.  The financial system is close to a meltdown and the government has no way to stop itself from spending money it doesn’t have, so they print more and inflation continues getting worse.  The average American can no longer afford to buy a house so our kids can’t even afford to dream anymore.  If we throw in a war with Russia or China one can see how America will be put to the very edge.

Historian Victor Davis Hanson sat down with Tucker Carlson to discuss his perspective on the current political climate in the US, asserting that American liberalism is characterized by dishonesty, and warning about what he sees as liberal efforts to introduce a highly intolerant age.

"It's hard for most Americans to comprehend the total dishonesty of American liberalism."

VDH says Trump represents a significant threat to the specific vision held by liberals, who are employing a "critical legal theory," in which traditional moral values are abandoned in favor of whatever gains power. 

"Liberals are now telling us they plan to protect American democracy and that's the clearest possible sign that they intend to end it."

Most specifically, Hanson told Carlson that:

"I think they’ve come to the conclusion that Trump is an existential threat and by association, half the country is to their vision of what they want to transform us into, and so they feel that whatever means necessary are justified."

And this is an issue since Hanson pointed out that while some conservatives were speaking up, they are also fighting a culture in the Republican Party that preferred to "lose nobly" as opposed to winning elections in an "ugly" manner.

Hanson argues that the legal actions against Trump are politically motivated and biased and designed to send a message to the half of America that will not simple 'comply':

“The idea is now that we now have the power to do this, and because we have the power to do it, it’s moral and right, and if you don’t like it, what are you doing to do about it?”

Finally, Hanson issues a call to action of sorts, noting that “There are legitimate efforts to rectify and stop this madness and let’s see what happens in 2024."

"You need leaders who will tell people we are in a Jacobin takeover of this country, and the old get along at any cost does not work,” Hanson said.

"I hope everybody can keep their head because I think the next 12 to 18 months are going to be the most explosive in our history since the Great Depression."

Pentagon Officials Believe “Aliens” are Actually Demonic

 I’ll let you read the entire article below but this blurb is actually encouraging!  We’ve been saying it for 15 years and now I’m seeing the same info starting to surface other places.  I’m 100% convinced the world is being prepped for a massive delusion.  If my eschatology is correct it will happen after the rapture...which means we shouldn’t be surprised if that event is close.

Pentagon commanders have clamped down on research into extraterrestrials because of their religious beliefs, it’s claimed.

Leading UFO researcher Ron James says senior figures in the US government fear aliens are in fact demons. Ron, who is Director of Media Relations for UFO research group MUFON, claims there is “a very large contingent of people” within the Pentagon who opposed the work of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program [AATIP] because they think the UAPs regularly reported by US military sources are piloted by creatures from Hell.

How the US Government Seized All Citizen’s Gold

I think it’s interesting that the Bible mentions gold over 400 times.  It also says that in the very Last Days that “your gold will not save you”.  I see advertisements from folks selling gold and claiming it’s the only asset that’s going to save you when the collapse happens.  But let’s remember one thing;  the US Government has a history of seizing all its citizen’s gold when it messes up its own financial system.  If they have done it once they can simply reinstate the executive order if they need to.

During extreme crises, governments can also seize people’s gold. There have been some stunning examples of “gold confiscation” in the past. Most memorably, this occurred in the US in 1933 during the great depression – albeit it’s more accurate to call it a nationalisation than a confiscation, since citizens were compensated. The government of Franklin D Roosevelt seized all gold bullion and coins via Executive Order 6102, forcing citizens to sell at well below market rates. Immediately after the “confiscation”, the government set a new official rate for gold that was much higher as part of the Gold Reserve Act 1934.

 This was the era of the gold standard, which meant dollars were tradeable for an exact amount of the precious metal. Seizing the metal enabled the government to print more dollars to try to stimulate the economy, and also to buy more dollars on the international markets to shore up the exchange rate. 

Many gold owners were understandably unhappy about the gold seizure, and some fought it in the courts. Ultimately, however, the government could not be stopped, and gold ownership remained illegal in the US until the 1970s. 

This intervention was not unique, even in contemporary history. In 1959, Australia’s government put a law in place that allowed gold seizures from private citizens if “expedient to do so, for the protection of the currency or of the public credit of the Commonwealth [of Australia]”. And in 1966, to stop the decline in the pound, the UK government banned citizens from owning more than four gold or silver coins and blocked the private import of gold. This was only lifted in 1979.

The Housing Crash Has Begun

In 1991 we bought the house we still live in.  Our mortgage rate was 10%.  9 years later we refinanced to 7%.  Some years later we refinanced to a 10 yr mortgage @ 3% and it was all paid off 3 years ago.  I’ve said it 100 times that Americans don’t care what things actually cost.  Nope, they care what their monthly payment is.  So let’s say you have $1500/ month to spend on a house.  At 10% mortgage rates you may only be able to bid $150,000 for your dream house.  But as rates came down these past 24 years, that same $1500/mo might have you bid that dream house up to $300,000.  So when interest rates are down, property values go up.  And when interest rates go up, eventually property values go down.  So people who paid $800k for a house in Anywhere, USA two years ago might find that it won’t sell for anywhere near that price.  That’s how this housing crash will work.

Of  course there is always something that could disrupt this reality.  I’ve read that Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street have trillions to spend and they plan on buying up every single family home they can buy in America.  Why?  Because they already own 90% of the S&P 500 and want to own other assets.  Also this would play into the globalists plan of “you will own nothing and be happy!”

Apocalyptic Flood Hits NYC

 I didn’t write the headline to this video but they did use the word APOCALYPTIC so it caught my attention.  NYC was covered in flood waters and had people swimming to higher ground on the streets of New York!  This continues to be just one more headline in a year that has seen daily headlines of earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, droughts, floods.  These events aren’t unusual in themselves but the frequency is unprecedented and the words NEVER and EVER are being constantly used.

Of course Bible readers would say, “yep!  Just more birth pangs as the return of the Lord nears!”

But the world says, “man’s activity is causing all this!  We need to kill all the cows, get rid of all fossil fuel vehicles and start restricting all human activity at every level!  If we don’t we’re all going to die!”
