Saying You Were Once Gay But Now Found Jesus...Bad

You better not exercise your free speech if it has anything to do with Jesus changing your life or the LGBTQ police will come and bully you.  You see, as a group they seem to be very intolerant and hateful of anyone that refuses to celebrate their lifestyle.

A contestant on Malta's version of the X Factor television series is under fire for publicly declaring that he is a former homosexual who gave his life to Jesus. 

Matthew Grech, a singer and vocal coach, said during an interview on the show that he used to live a "homosexual lifestyle," but then "found God". 

"I used to lead a homosexual lifestyle and then I found God. For a long time, I stopped following my passions to follow Jesus," Grech said, according to the Independent. "There can be love between two men and two women, yes -- but only friendship love. Everything else is a sin."

The clip was aired on national television and uploaded on Youtube and Facebook. Many people were upset that Grech described homosexuality as a "lifestyle" and "sin."

"What an utter despicable person. YOU ARE GAY. Stop lying on national tv and be proud of who you are," one YouTube commenter identified as JON fivesevenseven said. 

Another said the world needs to be "free" from "bad people" like Grech.

Russia Warns Israel

Russia is helping Syria with it's military.  Syria, of course, is a sworn enemy of Israel.  Israel, of course, has every right to defend itself against Syria which wants Israel to be destroyed and all the Jews living there to be driven into the sea.

Russia has now warned Israel that it better not hamper it's intentions to install and air-missile defense system in Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry has issued a veiled warning to Israel that it should not attempt any “provocative actions” in Syria, as Russia completes its transfer of T-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and Polyana D-4 air defense systems to the Syrian Army.

“As you know, in order to increase the level of security of the Russian military personnel, aviation flights and the protection of objects in Syria, the delivery of Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and Polyana D-4 air defense systems were completed. At present, Russian advisers are preparing Syrian military personnel for combat work on these modern air defense systems,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing briefing on Wednesday, “We believe that it is advisable for ‘hot heads’ to adequately assess the current situation in the region and refrain from provocative actions on the territory of Syria,” he added.

Clearly, the "hot heads" he is referring to would be Israel's leaders who have continued to carry out attacks within Syria whenever it feels threatened.  Allowing the Russian defense system to be installed could seriously curtail Israel's ability to carry out strikes in Syria.

Peter Schiff Warns of Massive Financial Collapse

Some of you may be familiar with Peter Schiff because he predicted the crash of 2007-2009.  If so or if not, you still may be interested to watch his interview on Fox News recently.  He is the author of THE REAL CRASH book and says that when the drunken spending spree comes to a forced end in America, it will get really ugly really quick.

We have no idea if his prediction will come true this year, but we are confident that it will happen one of these years.  The Bible says the day is coming when the Antichrist will take control of a global financial system....so we KNOW that some sort of massive reset is going to have to happen.

We agree with Schiff when he says that people always stand around during the good times and say that terrible things will never happen.  And then when the terrible thing does happen, those same folks stand around and wonder how it is that they didn't see it coming.

Shock Report: USA Has Too Much Debt

As you look around Minnesota you see a ton of economic activity and help wanted signs are literally hanging on the windows everywhere you turn.  But the question remains...did we actually fix anything from the near collapse 10 yrs ago?  Or have we just put it all on a credit card that we will never be able to repay?  And what happens to the global financial system when it finally becomes obvious to all that America has been borrowing more than it can ever repay?

The United States is taking on too much debt right now, a problem that is will only worsen moving forward, former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen said Tuesday.

"If I had a magic wand, I would raise taxes and cut retirement spending," Yellen told CNBC's Steve Liesman at the Charles Schwab Impact conference in Washington, D.C., who characterized the U.S. debt path as "unsustainable."

The U.S. fiscal deficit rose to $779 billion in fiscal 2018, up 17 percent from the previous fiscal year. This happened after President Donald Trump signed a bill late last year slashing the corporate tax rate to 21 percent from 35 percent. Spending levels climbed to their highest in six years while revenue only increased slightly.

Yellen noted this will only get worse as more baby boomers retire and spending on retirement and health care programs grow.

The former Fed chair also said she worries about the "role of the U.S. economy" as the two countries slap tariffs on each other's goods.

Murdered Gay Teen's Ashes

Do you remember about 20 years ago when a gay teen named Matthew Shepard was brutally killed in Wyoming?  His ashes were just laid to rest at the National Cathedral.

Yes, this was a tragic story of evil young men killing another man, but check out what was said at the funeral by the openly gay Right Reverend.

The public remembrance at the filled 4,000-seat cathedral was led by the Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, Episcopal bishop of Washington, and the Right Rev. Gene Robinson, the first openly gay man elected a bishop in the Episcopal Church. After, his ashes were interred at the cathedral's crypt in a private family ceremony.

Robinson was emotional throughout the public ceremony, tearfully addressing the large crowd. "For Matthew to come back to church," he said, "is a remarkable step forward."

He extended a particular welcome to attendees who are LGBT, saying, "Many of you have been hurt by your own religious communities, and I want to welcome you back."

Shepard's parents requested that their son's ashes be interred at the cathedral after 20 years of reluctance. They feared his gravesite would be desecrated.

In addition, Robinson said, Shepard's interment at the cathedral is significant for the LGBTQ community in the United States, which has faced hostility from many people in conservative faith circles.

"Let's be honest," Robinson said. "Churches and synagogues and mosques have been the source of our greatest pain as LGBTQ people." Robinson himself was vilified after revealing his sexual orientation, and his election as Episcopal bishop of New Hampshire in 2003 led to a split in the U.S. Episcopal Church.

"For Matthew to come back to church ... is a remarkable step forward," Robinson said. "It's the cathedral saying some churches are different. Some churches have been on this journey with you, and we will not only welcome you, we will celebrate you."

Yes!  Churches HAVE been a great source of pain to LGBTQ people because they point out that they are sinners!!  And no one likes to be told they are living on the wide road that leads to destruction.  They like their sin and none of us wants to willingly submit to the painful path of repentance and change.

Imagine one day when the Right Reverend will say, "Churches have often been a source of great pain for adulterers.  And even though 90% of men are born with this desire in their bones, they were still made to feel awful about simply acting on their desires.  Well today this ends!  God loves everyone!  God doesn't make junk!  God doesn't care what you do!  There is no sin if you simply act on your feeling and do good and be good!"

Certainly the great apostasy is upon us.

Oman Says it’s Time to Accept Israel

The Bible says that Iran will join Turkey and Russia in one final attempt to destroy Israel, but also seems to imply that some of the Arab states will sit on the sidelines.  Today we see how this may transpire as the Sunni Arabs continue to cool tensions with Israel while the Shiite Muslims in Iran continue to call for the destruction of Israel while crawling into bed with Russia and Turkey.

“Oman publicly called on Middle East countries to accept Israel after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday made a historic visit to the Arab Muslim state, which has no diplomatic ties with Israel.

In a speech he delivered at the IISS Manama Dialogue security summit in Bahrain, Omani Foreign Minister Yousuf bin Alawi said, “Israel is a state present in the region, and we all understand this. The world is also aware of this and maybe it is time for Israel to be treated the same [as other states] and to also bear the same obligations.”

Netanyahu traveled to Oman at the invitation of the country’s leader, Sultan Sayyid Qaboos bin Said Al Said, so that the two could discuss regional issues.”
