Terrorist Gets Standing Ovation at UN

Mahmoud Abbas spoke at the United Nations and got a standing ovation.  What's more, he accused Israel of ethnic cleansing....meaning he believes that Israel is trying to get rid of all the Arabs on Israeli territory.  What is intensely comical about this statement is that the PLO has repeatedly said that when they get their own state THERE WILL BE NO JEWS OR GAYS ALLOWED.  Their position is so illogical that it must have supernatural roots.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas asked the United Nations on Friday to recognize a state for his people, accusing Israel of engaging in ethnic cleansing in his United Nations speech.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly, Abbas accused Israel of employing an “ethnic cleansing policy” in Jerusalem.

“Israel issues building permits to settlers so they can build in occupied Jerusalem, while it keeps confiscating lands in eastern Jerusalem and driving away Palestinians from their ancestral lands,” he said in his address.

"Now, after the Arab springs emphasized their desire for liberty, it’s time for a Palestinian spring – the moment of independence,” he said. "I do not believe that anyone with a shred of conscience can reject our application for a full membership in the United Nations and our admission as an independent state," Abbas told the General Assembly, which gave him a standing ovation.

Let's remember that Abbas was involved in planning and raising funds for the Munich terrorist raid where Palestinian terrorists kidnapped Israeli athletes and killed them during the Olympic games...and 40 years later he is standing in a suit getting a standing ovation.  You can't make that up!!

Is Putin Gog of Magog?

The breaking news from Russia that Putin will seek the presidency in 2012 really doesn't surprise anyone.  He stepped down for a few years and handpicked a replacement (Medeved) to appease the Russian constitution but now is eligible to run again.

Vladimir Putin said Saturday he'll run for Russia's presidency next year, almost certainly ensuring he'll retake the office and foreshadowing years more of a strongman rule that many in the West have called a retreat from democracy. The announcement sets up the possibility that he could rule Russia until 2024.

In nominating Putin on Saturday, his United Russia party also approved his proposal that President Dmitry Medvedev take over Putin's current role as prime minister. Putin took over the premiership after serving as president from 2000-2008, bowing to term limits. But he was always the more powerful figure, with Medvedev viewed as a caretaker president.

During his presidency, Putin ruled Russia with a steely command, bringing about a system known as "managed democracy" that saw opposition politicians all but eliminated from the national eye. His personal popularity aided his maneuvering. Many Russians view Putin as the strong, decisive figure needed by a sprawling country troubled by corruption, an Islamist insurgency and massive economic inequality.

Jinkies!...he could rule Russia til 2024?!  As the coalition builds with Turkey, Iran, Libya, and other North African players it sure makes one wonder if Putin will be leading Russia during the events mentioned in Ezekiel 38....which if it happens that way means that Putin would be Gog of Magog.

I will bet anybody a dollar that Putin WILL win in 2012.  The guy has a serious ego and seems to enjoy being photographed without his shirt on doing various "macho" things...a trait probably necessary to believe he will one day be able to wipe out God's chosen people and take their stuff.  But of course God has a different plan.

Iran, Russia and Turkey Reach Agreement

More Ezekiel 38 foreshadowing as the union builds and the ties strengthen between these last days players.

Iran to export electricity in cooperation with Russia and Turkey

TEHRAN. - Iran reached an agreement with Russia and Turkey on construction of modern power plants and electricity export to other countries, said Iranian Minister of Energy Majid Namdz.

Ankara would import the produced electricity and transfer it to third countries, reports FarsNews.

Meanwhile Moscow and Tehran came to another agreement on energy export during the visit of Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Shmatko to Iran. Russian Minister attended the opening ceremony of Iran’s first nuclear plant Bushehr on September 12.

So now the unholy alliance is "cooperating" with each other, next they will be defending each other and finally they will all get an idea that Israel needs to be destroyed and her wealth taken...and then they will plan an offensive together.

Ahmadinejad's Apocalyptic Address

Iran's President spoke at the United Nations yesterday.  Of course the only news on Ahmadinejad's speech was about the U.S. and European delegations walking out during his speech.  Besides the denial of the Holocaust and the claim that airplanes didn't bring down the towers on 9/11....what else was this dude saying?

Joel Rosenberg is blowing the trumpet loud, hard and clear regarding what this apocalyptic leader is telling the world.....but is anyone listening?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not a world leader worthy of the world stage. He is the evil leader of a Shia Islamic death cult. He is building nuclear weapons. He is calling for the end of the world and the arrival of the Twelfth Imam. He aspires to be a mass murderer beyond the scale of Adolf Hitler. He deserves to be in prison, or an insane asylum, and his speech Thursday before the United Nations General Assembly was further proof, if any more were needed.

Consider these excerpts: “This movement is certainly on its rightful path of creation, ensuring a promising future for humanity. A future that will be built when humanity initiates to trend the path of the divine prophets and the righteous under the leadership of Imam al-Mahdi, the Ultimate Savior of mankind and the inheritor to all divine messengers and leaders and to the pure generation of our great Prophet. The creation of a supreme and ideal society with the arrival of a perfect human being who is a true and sincere lover of all human beings, is the guaranteed promise of Allah. He will come alongside with Jesus Christ to lead the freedom and justice lovers to eradicate tyranny and discrimination, and promote knowledge, peace, justice freedom and love across the world. So what’s the world doing to stop him? Precious little. Yes, some world diplomats walked out of Ahmadinejad’s speech. Big deal. They walked softly, but where is the big stick? Why aren’t they taking decisive action to stop Iran from building, buying or stealing nuclear weapons and the ballistic missile systems to deliver them? Time is running out. Once Iran has the Islamic Bomb, does anyone really believe they won’t use it against the U.S. and Israel, either directly or through terrorist surrogates?

Rather than stopping Iran from getting the Bomb, however, the leaders of the world — including our own President — are hyper-focused on pressuring Israel to divide Jerusalem and divide the Land of Israel and create a corrupt and dangerous Palestinian state co-led by the missile-firing Hamas terrorist group. Don’t get me wrong: the Israeli-Palestinian issue is an important one, and it should be treated seriously and carefully. But it’s not the most important issue in the Middle East today. The murderous, apocalyptic Iranian regime and its race for nuclear weapons is Issue #1, 2 and 3. We would be fools not to take decisive action while we still can.

Amazing!  This dude is calling for the 12th Imam to come to earth and usher in global Islamic rule and he believes that global chaos needs to be established for the 12th Imam to come....AND HE IS COOKING NUCLEAR BOMBS!!...and yet the world yawns...instead of gathering for the spiritual battle that is at hand, most men in the U.S. just reach for the sports section are totally oblivious to the gathering storm. 

Yesterday at prophecy luncheon we had a table discussion about the most pressing issues on planet earth and what our individual churches are doing to prepare their flocks.  Sadly, the take away for me is that most churches are simply whistling Dixie, going through church life as if nothing has changed... eating, drinking, building, marrying...exactly as Jesus said it would be when He returns. 

Instead, the Bride of Christ should be bathed and clothed in white with oil in her lamp waiting with anticipation for the Bridegroom.....but that doesn't appear to be the case.

What Did the Arabs Say?

With all the talk at the UN meetings regarding Israel and the Palestinian desire to have their own state, I thought it would be interesting to look back at what some Arab leaders were saying decades ago when we were a lot closer to the actual facts regarding the Palestinian refugees.

ON APRIL 23, 1948 Jamal Husseini, acting chairman of the Palestine Arab Higher Committee (AHC), told the UN Security Council: "The Arabs did not want to submit to a truce ... They preferred to abandon their homes, belongings and everything they possessed."

ON SEPTEMBER 6, 1948, the Beirut Daily Telegraph quoted Emil Ghory, secretary of the AHC, as saying: "The fact that there are those refugees is the direct consequence of the action of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state. The Arab states agreed upon this policy unanimously..."

ON JUNE 8, 1951, Habib Issa, secretary-general of the Arab League, wrote in the New York Lebanese daily al-Hoda that in 1948, Azzam Pasha, then League secretary, had "assured the Arab peoples that the occupation of Palestine and of Tel Aviv would be as simple as a military promenade ... Brotherly advice was given to the Arabs of Palestine to leave their land, homes and property, and to stay temporarily in neighbouring fraternal states."

Now you gotta love this next one spoken by the current leader of PLO over 35 years ago;

IN THE MARCH 1976 issue of Falastin a-Thaura, then the official journal of the Beirut-based PLO, Mahmud Abbas ("Abu Mazen"), PLO spokesman, wrote: "The Arab armies entered Palestine to protect the Palestinians from the Zionist tyranny but, instead, they abandoned them, forced them to emigrate and to leave their homeland, and threw them into prisons similar to the ghettos in which the Jews used to live."

ON APRIL 9, 1953, the Jordanian daily al-Urdun quoted a refugee, Yunes Ahmed Assad, formerly of Deir Yassin, as saying: "For the flight and fall of the other villages, it is our leaders who are responsible, because of the dissemination of rumours exaggerating Jewish crimes and describing them as atrocities in order to inflame the Arabs ... they instilled fear and terror into the hearts of the Arabs of Palestine until they fled, leaving their homes and property to the enemy."

Incredible!!  Why won't one stinking reporter ask some of the Arab leaders at the UN conference this week to clarify these statements made when the conflict was first arising?  Why?...because who really wants to ruin some good ol' Israel bashing by throwing in some actual truth?

Budget Begins Colliding With Reality

Some say we need a short term fix (stimulus) to get the economy to come back...say some.

No, we need to cut the spending now or we will be bankrupt soon...say others.

So what is the answer?  There isn't one.  We spent way too much money believing that things would always get better in the future and the next generation would be even more wealthy so will be able to pay off today's borrowing.

As today's headline article is saying, the actual budget is colliding with reality...and that reality may be that there simply isn't an answer.  We now have cancer and are going to need massive, painful chemo treatment to survive....but the chemo treatment may end up killing us anyway.  Witness Greece.

Many economists agree that the United States needs a short-term spark — call it “stimulus,” if you like — in the form of tax cuts and increased spending. But, the consensus also holds that the nation must control its deficits by reforming entitlement programs like Medicare and also by increasing tax revenues.
    
Yet the longer the economic slump goes on, the more the "short term" starts to look not so temporary, and the closer the "long term" becomes.

The need for short-term stimulants, such as cutting the Social Security payroll tax (seen last year as a one-shot tactic), now looks like something that will go on for a while.

In fact, President Barack Obama proposes to cut the payroll tax even further to 3.1 percent and to extend it to employers as well as employees. This would enlarge the deficit and add to future government debt.

Meanwhile an inevitable demographic fact — the retirement of the massive Baby Boomer generation and the costs of paying the Social Security and Medicare benefits promised to them — keeps inching closer.

Not waiting to collect entitlementsSome of those Baby Boomers aren’t waiting for their entitlements. Having lost their jobs and seeing little chance of working again, they are collecting their benefits early: getting declared disabled and qualifying for Social Security disability benefits and Medicare. This only adds to the budget strain.

The reality of the coming mayhem may tank the financial markets.  The stock market was down 3% yesterday and is falling again today.  I wonder if the markets are finally figuring out that the only answer to fix our financial cancer is massive chemotherapy.....which will make us all lose our hair and throw up.

Everyone Did as He Saw Fit

The famous verse that ends the book of Judges is, "In those days Israel had no king, everyone did as he saw fit."  Of course it didn't go well for Israel as a result.

Today in America we seem to be on the exact same path.  "But Dennis....that can't be....we are a Christian nation!  80% of Americans are Christians!"....or so we have heard.  Really???

Barna has a new poll out that reports on religion in America.  Its VERY disturbing.

If World War II-era warbler Kate Smith sang today, her anthem could be Gods Bless America.

That's one of the key findings in newly released research that reveals America's drift from clearly defined religious denominations to faiths cut to fit personal preferences.

The folks who make up God as they go are side-by-side with self-proclaimed believers who claim the Christian label but shed their ties to traditional beliefs and practices. Religion statistics expert George Barna says, with a wry hint of exaggeration, America is headed for "310 million people with 310 million religions."

"We are a designer society. We want everything customized to our personal needs — our clothing, our food, our education," he says. Now it's our religion.

Barna's new book on U.S. Christians, Futurecast, tracks changes from 1991 to 2011, in annual national surveys of 1,000 to 1,600 U.S. adults. All the major trend lines of religious belief and behavior he measured ran downward — except two.

More people claim they have accepted Jesus as their savior and expect to go to heaven.

And more say they haven't been to church in the past six months except for special occasions such as weddings or funerals. In 1991, 24% were "unchurched." Today, it's 37% .

Barna blames pastors for those oddly contradictory findings. Everyone hears, "Jesus is the answer. Embrace him. Say this little Sinners Prayer and keep coming back. It doesn't work. People end up bored, burned out and empty," he says. "They look at church and wonder, 'Jesus died for this?'"

The consequence, Barna says, is that, for every subgroup of religion, race, gender, age and region of the country, the important markers of religious connection are fracturing.

When he measures people by their belief in seven essential doctrines, defined by the National Association of Evangelicals' Statement of Faith, only 7% of those surveyed qualified.

Barna laments, "People say, 'I believe in God. I believe the Bible is a good book. And then I believe whatever I want.'"

Amazing...absolutely amazing that this country has morally collapsed and no one knows their Bible...and no one CARES that they don't know their Bibles...and everyone simply creates their own religion and god, one that makes THEM feel good.  Friends, this is nothing more than idolatry...creating a god that fits OUR NEEDS....and everyone has their own god, all 310,000,000 of us Americans.

The Bible tells us clearly that in the last days people will surround themselves with teachers who tell them what their itchy ears want to hear.  This survey confirms that we are already the re.

Flashpoint Cyprus?

Turkey has quickly turned into the mid-east strong man and is blustering its way back into power.  Let's remember that the Turkish-Ottoman Empire ruled the world for centuries...so being in power won't be a new thing for them.

So what could some of the flash points be for a Turkish-Israeli military conflict?  I suppose we could name a handful....but here is the latest one;  Israeli oil finds around Cyprus.

Remember that Cyprus is currently divided with the northern part of the island under Turkish control (no other country in the world believes this is legal) and the southern part of the island under Greek control.

Reuters) - Turkey signed a deal with the breakaway Turkish Cypriot state on Wednesday that will pave the way for offshore gas exploration, in a move set to escalate regional tensions over Mediterranean energy reserves.

On Tuesday, the Greek Cypriot government, which has been at loggerheads with Turkey since its military invasion of north Cyprus in 1974, said drilling had begun in a southeastern offshore block, adjoining a gas field in Israeli waters reputed to be the world's largest find of the past decade.

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan described the offshore drilling by Cyprus and Turkey's estranged ally Israel as "madness" before signing the deal with the Turkish Cypriots to clear the path for Turkish exploration off northern Cyprus.

"We had previously brought to the international community's attention in a clear manner ... that if the Greek Cypriots started drilling, we would take a number of concrete steps together with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus," Erdogan was quoted as saying by state news agency Anatolian.

"To reflect this commitment, Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus today in New York signed a continental shelf agreement."

NOW GET THIS PART:

Turkey is the only country to recognize the Turkish Cypriot state, while the Greek Cypriot government is internationally recognized and represents the island in the European Union.

Both Cyprus and Greece denounced the agreement as illegal.

"Turkey has committed yet another illegal act by signing an agreement with an illegal entity, such is the pseudo-state, which has been condemned by U.N. resolutions," government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said in a statement.

So catch the double standard....Turkey has denounced Israel and led the global charge against her for "occupying" Arab lands and refusing to give them back.  But Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974 and took the northern half of the island!  No other country in the world recognized that invasion as "legal"....but where is the outcry of the world for Turkey to give up LAND FOR PEACE?....yet the world is coming apart over a few acres of land taken by Israel in a defensive war against its enemies that refuse to acknowledge her right to exist.

Simply more evidence of the supernatural battle taking place over Jerusalem....it has to be supernatural because it makes no logical sense.

Iran and Russia to Shape "New World Order"

I don't think we need to lay it all out from the beginning again since we have blogged about it so much over the past years,....but Ezekiel 38 says that in the very last days a coalition consisting of Russia, Turkey, Iran, Libya, and some North African lesser players, will all come together.

We have been watching this transpire before our very eyes.  Probably the most amazing was Turkey, which turned on Israel over night, and has now become the darling of the Muslim world.

And now we have Iran and Russia getting together to make some interesting plans.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili has underscored the significance of Tehran-Moscow relations towards the establishment of a new global order.

Iran and Russia can establish a new world order based on their common positions on international issues and developments, Jalili said in Moscow on Monday, quoted in an IRNA report.

The SNSC secretary, who is in the Russian capital to attend the second international meeting of secretaries of national security councils, added that the world has bypassed the Cold War model and the ensuing unilateralism, which entailed international confrontations with expansionist motives of the West, led by the US.

Jalili made the comments at a state university in Moscow, where he told participating students that a hotbed now exists for transpiration of a new world order.
The senior Iranian official emphasized that Iran and Russia enjoy similar opportunities and advantages, following the defeat of American unilateralist policies, and now face common threats.

Friends, this is pretty stinking amazing.  You can see how American power is literally falling by the wayside.  Of course we have big planes, big aircraft carriers, big guns and big bombs....but who is going to loan us the money to keep them all polished and ready to go BANG!  Of course these folks have no plans on attacking us....they are just going to sit back and watch us implode and then be ready to move in and fill the power vacuum that will ensue.

But lest you think these players will have the last laugh....please read Ezekiel 38 and see what is coming for these folks when God himself puts hooks in their jaws and drags them out into the staging grounds to attack Israel.  Then the whole world will know that God is in the house!!  What a day that will be!!!

Currency Killers and the Fall of Rome

We sure hope that the smart people around the world that are pulling the strings on all the paper money are doing a good job.  Of course the stock market went down today by a few percent because the Federal Reserve announced it is going to start a program called "twisting"...whereby they will try to exchange some $billions of the short term Treasury debt they "bought" for some long term Treasury debt.  The stock market was unimpressed and actually probably read the news that the Fed itself is losing confidence in any sort of recovery.

With that as a backdrop this little video clip was on the front page of Google News this evening.  It is from RT News, which is a Russian news service, and if you spend any time on the service you will soon find that they seem a bit gleeful at the thought of Western Civilization collapsing.  I guess I don't blame them...after all they have gone through a few major currency and civilization collapses in the past hundred years so maybe they just want to feel better about themselves by watching everyone else go through it.

The video talks much of what we have been talking about for years....except now it seems like it may be weeks away from an actual reality.  Whose going to bale out Greece, how about Spain, can anyone bail out a country as large as Italy?  And then the financial analyst on the video asks a serious question.....the European Union currently has about 85% debt to GDP ratio, which is high....but he then says that USA has 100% debt to GDP...so he asks the unthinkable.....if everyone is so sure the Euro is going to collapse, why wouldn't the dollar just collapse right along with it?

Of course watching the dollar collapse and seeing every one's savings fall out the window would be brutal...no doubt about it.  But....if you read the Old Testament at all you won't have to read far to see what God did to His people when they went whoring after other gods. 

So ask ourselves this; if America has been full time whoring after the god of Mammon for the past few decades....it would totally be within biblical precedence to have it all ripped down and be reduced to such a level that we have no where to turn to except God.

A time of purification may be just around the corner....have we built our house on sand or rock?  Do we have enough oil in our lamps?

First Caller Wins an Assualt Rifle!

Fresh from the book of, "You can't make that up!"....we have the latest insanity coming to us from the dark continent.

A radio station run by Somalia's al-Shabab Islamist group has awarded weapons to children who won a Koran-reciting and general knowledge contest.

Andulus radio, based near Mogadishu, gave the group which won first prize in the Ramadan competition an AK-47 rifle and the equivalent of $700 (£450).

The second prize-winners received an AK-47 and $500, while the third prize was two hand grenades and $400.

Satan continues using the Koran to build his army of hate-filled fanatics who are willing to die for their errant beliefs.  This shouldn't surprise us, in fact we should expect this.  "All these things must happen, but fear not...." said Jesus.

As you read this article, it has to dawn on all of us that America WILL NOT be able to build a democratic nation in Somalia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, etc....  These folks are going to demand the Koran...and ONLY the Koran. 

This situation will not get better...it will only get worse. 

Pray for these lost people that Jesus would continue to use dreams and visions to change their lives one at a time.

Full Page Ad in NYT

As we know the pressure is continuing to build on Israel as the United Nations continues its push for Palestinian statehood.

Today there is a full page ad in the NYT asking Obama to support Israel and revisit his previous promises regarding Israel.  They then urge folks to call  Obama and/or Hilary Clinton and Ambassador Susan Rice and then publish their phone numbers.

According to an organization that tracks UFO reports, this summer has been an especially busy period for UFO sightings. The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) noted that sightings increased over the past six weeks, with some states more than doubling their normal numbers.

Did you catch that sentence, "Are we on the cusp of an alien invasion?"  Hmmm....let's think about that....has Hollywood prepared us for an alien invasion?  What would citizens of planet earth say to a ship of aliens if they chose to land and actually had humanoid bodies that spoke to us about far away planets, evolution, and coming to save us from ourselves?  How many citizens of planet earth would have no biblical world view in which to filter what they were saying....so would just believe every thing that came from their mouths...even if it was all lies?

Of course the Bible says it in Isaiah and repeats it in Zephaniah 1:18, "Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord's wrath."

People...we can see the enemies gathering around Israel, we can see the coalitions being made, we can see evidence of the one world government and one world currency, we can see wickedness and perversion on every TV station, we can see Americans worshiping the false god of materialism....we are seriously just waiting for the trumpet call of God and should be snatching our friends and families from the fire by delivering the Good News in a clear and concise way. 

The lost people of this world are hording their treasure on earth by storing it in gold.  The people that Jesus saved should be storing up our treasures in heaven.  What is the Lord telling you to do?

Christain Bashing by Bill Maher

I have to admit that I am not real thrilled by the Republican Presidential debates or even the candidates.  Personally, I believe politics is beyond the point of helping America...only a revival of the Holy Spirit can heal our land and until that happens, politics will continue to be a divisive wedge that serves as a distraction in these last days.

With that being said, check out what comedian/pundit Bill Maher said on his HBO special about "Christians".

Now ask yourself what would happen if Bill Maher had said, "You know what they call people who believe in killing people and denying charity?....Muslims."

He would have never said it because he would have been terrified of having a fatwa put on his head...plus the politically correct Hollywood crowd who pride themselves on tolerance would have felt wrong about taking a swipe at the poor minority of Muslims.  But of course he feels perfectly at ease bashing Christians who believe in enforcing the death penalty and allowing personal responsibility.

Push Israel Out of Region

While Americans were busy doing Saturday chores and watching college football...the enemies of Israel were ramping up for some MAJOR plans, plans that include destroying Israel.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The growing power and impacts of Islamic awakening and popular uprisings in the Muslim countries will entail dire consequences for the Zionist regime of Israel, including its further isolation in the region, a prominent Middle-East and African affairs analyst underlined.

Speaking to FNA on the sidelines of the First International Islamic Awakening Conference here in Tehran on Sunday, Binghamton State University Professor Akbar Mohammad noted the anti-Israeli nature of the current popular uprisings in the region, and said people in Egypt and Jordan have very openly and repeatedly voiced their strong opposition to the existence of Israel embassy in their countries.

"The Israeli authorities know that continuation of Islamic awakening will result in their expulsion from Muslim countries," Mohammad stated, and added, "Thus, Israelis are trying to have a stronger presence in the African countries."

Egyptians raided the Israeli embassy in Cairo earlier this month and forced the Israeli ambassador to leave their country.

Less than a week later, Jordanians staged a similar demonstration and intimidated the Israeli diplomats in their country so deeply that the Zionist regime's diplomatic corps in Amman ran away even before the start of the rally in anticipation of the raid.

"In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate.  They had been brought out from the nations and now all of them live in safety  You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land."  Ezekiel 38:8-9

Hmmm...."future years" means the "last days"...modern day Israel has recovered from numerous wars since 1948...the Jews had been dispersed all over the world and 2000 years later started coming back following the Holocaust to the mountains of Israel....and the land of Israel had been made desolate by the Muslims living there, not a tree growing in all of Israel...and Iran and many nations are today making plans to storm into Israel and get rid of the Sons of Promise once and for all.

I would say that even a doubting man has to look at this passage and look at the headlines and wonder how amazing it is that some being (believers know Him as God) wrote this passage 2700 years ago and its fulfillment looks like it is getting VERY close.  All we need is for the troops to start advancing on Israel.

Lord, please help to keep our heads straight during this time of deception.  Empower the Holy Spirit within us to finish strong for the glory of Your kingdom.  Amen.

Strong Partner For Israel

This is good news for all of us in the USA within the "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you" department.

Boehner says US must be strong partner for Israel

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker John Boehner says the U.S. commitment to Israel should be stronger now as the American ally faces challenges to its existence in the volatile Middle East.

In an address Sunday to the Jewish National Fund conference in Cincinnati, the Ohio Republican dismissed suggestions that Israel has isolated itself and he argued that the Jewish state stands above others as the "one true beacon of freedom and opportunity" in the region.

The U.S., he said, must stand by Israel's side "not just as a broker or observer — but as a strong partner and reliable ally."

On the one hand you have President Obama as the most unpopular/unfriendly U.S. President to Israel since Israel became a nation....but on the other hand you have the top dog in Congress saying we need to stay strong for Israel.  So how might this blessing or curses thing work out for the U.S.?

I'm guessing it's all going to come down to actions speaking louder than words.  If the U.S. says that Israel is their best friend in the region but then goes on doing things that undermine her strength as a state and also seek to divide Jerusalem...then it would be safe to assume that curses are on the way.
