Israel Stands Out Like Sore Thumb

The world is continuing to isolate Israel. She will soon be standing on her own...and the world will be against her.

The foreshadowing of this prophetic event is all around us.

When Obama hosted a nuclear discussion a few weeks ago....Israel didn't come. Why? Because they have never signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Agreement. Why? Because they have never publicly admitted that they have nukes. Of course, the enemies of Israel would love to have them sign this...which would open up Israel to inspectors....which would most certainly expose their nuclear weapon secret. Israel will NEVER do this. Because she won't, this could be the final trigger that turns the world against her....and labels Israel a "ROGUE" nation.

Press TV: Sir, looking at the NPT as a whole, isn't it time for a tougher stance on countries that are not signatories in order to force them to sign on. I mean what possibility actually exists for such a mechanism?

Steinberg: Well obviously we are talking here about Israel and Israel is the main non-signatory that is clearly a rogue state on the question of nuclear weapons. And so in the case of Israel, I think it is important to realize that they did not do what North Korea did. They made the technological breakthrough, had a test demonstration and then produced a relatively small number of nuclear weapons. Israel has developed a massive nuclear arsenal -- best estimates are 200 nuclear warheads -- all attached to delivery systems that can deploy them against targets anywhere in the region, and this makes no sense whatsoever. At a point where even Russia and the United States have agreed to reductions in nuclear weapons, Israel stands out like a sore thumb. That is of course why Netanyahu would not come to this conference in Washington that President Obama hosted two weeks ago. There have been proposals, Iran has made the proposal. I have heard speeches in New York by Prince Turki bin Sultan of Saudi Arabia making the same proposal that the Middle East should be an absolutely nuclear-weapons-free area and of course that means dismantling the Israeli program and probably the United States would make a promise... a kind of a nuclear umbrella protection for Israel. But yes, cases like Israel stand out like a sore thumb.

And it is one of the biggest single obstacles toward being able to get a viable non-proliferation treaty structure where people feel confident that all nations will be treated equally, rather than having this one ridiculously glaring exception.

Soon the world will glare at Israel and wonder how the world can demand Arabs don't have nukes...but America supports Israel's right to have them. It's a double standard that force the world to the brink.

Satan Loosed

What happens in a country full of Islamic extremists? If the world would wake up and pay attention, they could look at Somalia and see.

A violent Muslim group, called Al Shabaab, is terrorizing the failed state and it seems to be descending further into chaos...where those with the guns and hatchets make the rules.

When Satan is loosed on an area, the atrocities just keep building.

In February, the group (Al Shabaab) banned the U.N. World Food Program, even though millions rely on food aid for survival.

Music and radio stations have been banned as well as school bells, which were recently declared too Christian by Al Shabaab and their allies.

Stories of the brutal nature of their control over the city's streets make their way through the hospital staff and into the A.U. camp.

Tales of dismemberment, bodies being chopped up and sent back to families, routine executions, even people being skinned alive emanate from neighborhoods closed off to the international community or any form of governance.

Leaning over the wall of a lookout post at the notorious Kilometer Four junction, one soldier points to a minaret. "That's the Red Mosque," he says. "That's where they chop people up."

"It's so sad," he says, hanging up on another sinister voice. "They don't know what they are doing. They are just killing their own people."

Question; Who is responsible for killing more Muslims than any other group?

Answer: Other Muslims.

Summer War

We have talked much about the coming wars in the middle east. When war does break out, we will have to see whether it meets the parameters of being the war mentioned in Psalm 83.

However, the Psalm 83 war seems to have all the elements necessary to break out at any moment...including this headline.

Iran, Syria, Hizballah gear up to provoke summer war

US defense secretary Robert Gates said Tuesday night, April 27: "Hizballah has far more rockets and missile than most governments in the world." He and Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak were talking to reporters after their talks in the Pentagon. Military sources did not see his as high commendation for Barak's achievements as defense minister. All he had to contribute on this occasion was: "We do not intend to provoke any kind of major collision in Lebanon or with Syria, but are watching closely these developments."

Gates went on to accuse Syria and Iran of "providing Hizballah with rockets of ever-increasing capability," adding, "This is obviously destabilizing for the whole region and we're watching it very carefully.

Unlike the United States, Israel has a ringside seat for watching the rockets and missiles pile up just across its 70-kilometer long border with Lebanon. Gates' comment - and even more Barak's assurance - gave Syria and the Hizballah space to carry on building a mighty arsenal, which is aimed at only one country, Israel.

Remember friends, most watchers are of the understanding that Psalm 83 will PRECEDE the war mentioned in Ezekiel 38. The Psalm 83 war CLEARLY mentions the current enemies of Israel who are all directly on her immediate borders. The Ezekiel war clearly mentions Israel's enemies who currently inhabit the territories one or two countries removed.

In other words, the first war would be against INNER TIER enemies. Ezekiel's war would be waged against OUTER TIER enemies.

Also one MAJOR difference between these two wars; Israel will fight and win the Psalm 83 war using their own military prowess.

In contrast, GOD will fight for Israel and destroy her enemies (like He did in days of old) when they gather for Ezekiel's war.

Finally, it is possible that Christ followers could witness the Psalm 83 war. But many watchers believe we will have been raptured by they time Ezekiel's war takes place.

How close are we to hearing that trumpet...when we will all fly away?

Missiles In a Box

Our friends, the Russians have just decided to sell some nifty new missiles that are carried in a semi truck...so can be easily disguised by anyone hoping to launch Armageddon.

But have no fear....they claim that they have very good safeguards in place so that they won't fall into the wrong hands.

Right. Let's see....sell them to Syria and Iran. That oughta go well.

This relatively cheap, extra-smart, easy-to-use Club-K Container Missile System, which Moscow has put on the open market, allows cruise missiles concealed in freight containers to be launched from a prepositioned or moving land or sea platform. It is virtually undetectable by radar until activated. No wonder, Iran and Venezuela were keenly interested when the Club-K was put on the market at the Defense Services Asia exhibition in Malaysia this week for $15 million.

Western military experts are calling it a "real maritime fear for anyone with a waterfront." The container-cum-missiles, carried by a ship, fishing vessel or truck can approach a targeted coast, highway or international railway and strike behind the target's missile defenses without alerting radar monitors or even surveillance drones and satellites.

Noah's Ark is Found

Of course we will have to wait and see if this story turns out to be true...but if it is....God is certainly giving EVERYONE on earth a chance to understand that God's word is true...and to repent before the door is shut again. And of course, this time the rapture will serve as the "ark" which God uses to save the righteous from the coming decimation of planet earth.

Genesis 8:4 tells us, "and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat."

A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical Christians said they had uncovered remnants of Noah's Ark on its legendary mountain resting place in Turkey.

Noah's Ark Ministries International, a Hong Kong-based documentary outfit, said they recovered wooden specimens from a structure on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey that carbon dating proved the material was 4800 years old, around the same time the ark is said to have been afloat.

"It's not 100 per cent that it is Noah's Ark but we think it is 99.9 per cent that this is it," said Yeung Wing-cheung, a Hong Kong documentary filmmaker and member of the 15-strong team.

The structure had several compartments, some with wooden beams, which were believed to house animals, he said.

Also, it will be interesting to see if the mainstream media grabs onto this story...or if they will do everything in their power to ignore it.

Lost Jewish Tribe Heads Home

This is another amazing story of prophetic fulfillment that adds to our confidence that we are, in deed, drawing close to the VERY last days.

One of the lost 10 tribes that were overthrown and hauled away by Assyria 700 years before Christ...are returning to the Promised Land. What was lost now is found.

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel." Ezekiel 37:21

About 1,700 members of the Bnei Menashe tribe — the Sons of Manasseh, one of the original 12 biblical tribes of Israel — have migrated to Israel, completing what they believe is an extraordinary, 2,700-year exile that took them from the Middle East seven centuries before the Christian era, through Afghanistan, China, Burma and India, before they heard that a new state of Israel had been created 62 years ago.

According to Bnei Menashe lore, the tribe escaped from Assyrian slavery and headed east, through Ancient Persia, Afghanistan and Tibet, to settle for a time in China, where they were once again persecuted and expelled in about AD100. From there, they trickled in smaller groups into South-East Asia, where they remained until this day.

It was only when the state of Israel was created in 1948 that some of the Bnei Menashe began to believe they were descended from Ancient Israelites and started dreaming of return. That process accelerated when one of their members had a vision instructing him to lead his people back to the land of their ancestors, whom he judged to be original Israelites.

Joel 2:28 speaks of the Day of the Lord when he says, "...your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."

OK....this story is simply amazing. If we, who claim to be followers of Christ, can't see that God is doing supernatural things with HIS people....at the same time there are daily earthquakes, wars, rumors of wars, collapsing financial systems, etc...we must be sound asleep! Or even worse, we are simply being rebellious and REFUSING to hear the alarm clock of God.

Another Day Another Quake

As I perused today's news, I noticed that another 6.5 earthquake struck Taiwan and made all the buildings sway. Thankfully, it appears that there was little damage....just more people getting freaked out and wondering what the heck is going on.

The article I was reading commented on all the quake activity and ended with the question;

I started reading through what some of the comments that were left by readers and was excited to see this comment left by someone named Keri;

"The nations and kingdoms of the earth will rise against each other and there will be famines and earthquakes in many places. But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come." Matthew 24:7-8. All that is happening around us is clearly written in the Bible for all to see. Major earthquakes are happening all the time now, and we hear of 30% of the bee colonies just disappearing, which greatly affects a plethora of foods we love; the entire world is against Israel, etc. Jesus Christ is at the door and every single one of us had better be prepared. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior NOW before it is too late! This is the ONLY way you can escape the coming horrors of the Tribulation. Have you seen horror movies? Well, you "ain't seen nothin' yet", because the horrors of the 7-year Tribulation is unimaginable to us because it has never happened like this before on the face of the earth! The Bible says that NONE would survive if He didn't intervene! Scientists can come up with all the reasons they like as to why all this is happening (such as "every hundred thousand years, the earth does such and such"). Oh really? Were you there? Was it documented? We need to dust off our Bibles, read the Truths in that book, which is the INERRANT word of God. Please understand that God is trying to get our attention! He doesn't want ANY to perish! Won't you dust off your Bible and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today? May the Holy Spirit guide you and bless you!

Daily Devotion

Like many of you, we receive a daily devotional from a few preachers. Today, this one came from Pastor Greg Laurie and it was so true...we decided to post it.

In Search of Biblical Literacy

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. . . . "— Hosea 4:6

Whenever I am invited to speak somewhere, I can discern the biblical IQ of the group I'm addressing in the first few minutes of my message. I observe the way they track, the way they listen, what interests them, and what doesn't interest them. I note how they will come alive when an illustration is rolled out. But as soon as I get back to the biblical text, they go into a daze, as if to say, Wake me when the next illustration or joke is coming.

This is because they have never learned to love the Bible. They have never developed a hunger for it. This is what I want my congregation—and all believers—to have. I want them to love the Word of God. We love worship at our services. We love having various artists coming in and sharing their music with us. We love all the other things we can do. But I believe the main event is the teaching and the preaching of the Word of God. That is what I want believers to care for.

Yet tragically, so many people in the church today are biblically illiterate. They don't have a biblical worldview. I can't tell you how many times I have gone to a church as a guest speaker and said, "Turn in your Bibles to . . . " and no one has a Bible. When I will refer to certain biblical passages or a biblical story, they will look at me with blank expressions. This is not a good sign.

I believe the cry of Hosea 4:6 rings true for many in the church today: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Don't Talk to Aliens

Today's headline makes it to us courtesy of the smartest man on earth. His name is Stephen Hawkin and if you have ever watched a science show on PBS made for really smart people.....you would have seen him.

THE aliens are out there and Earth had better watch out, at least according to Stephen Hawking. He has suggested that extraterrestrials are almost certain to exist — but that instead of seeking them out, humanity should be doing all it that can to avoid any contact.

The suggestions come in a new documentary series in which Hawking, one of the world’s leading scientists, will set out his latest thinking on some of the universe’s greatest mysteries.
Alien life, he will suggest, is almost certain to exist in many other parts of the universe: not just in planets, but perhaps in the centre of stars or even floating in interplanetary space.

Many prophecy watchers have been warning for years that what the people of earth are claiming to be "aliens" visiting us in ships....are actually fallen angels who have spent eons weaving a plan of deception, laid out by Satan, to deceive the last generation of man. That would be those people who would be left behind and not taken in the rapture.
