Just Say You Are a Girl and CA Will Give You a New Birth Certificate

 The grand delusion continues to gain ground.  Simply announce to everyone within earshot that “I’m a girl today!”, and you are one!  No uterus?  No problem!  Have a penis?  Turns out lots of women do!  Are you a sex offender in a man’s body but now that you are sentenced to jail you would like to be incarcerated with women?  No problem!  Just announce to the judge that you are a woman and that’s where you will go, to women’s prison!

Remember friends, this would have never happened even 10 years ago!  God says that He literally will give the minds over to delusion of those who reject him and practice perversion.  This is what we are watching.  No matter the cost we need to push back on this.  God created them male and female, end of story.

Self-ID has already been the law in California since 2018. In that state, anyone can obtain a new birth certificate with the opposite sex marked as their own. The law does not require input from any physician, or any surgical or hormonal changes to the person's body.

Self-ID means that any person (man or woman) can simply declare himself or herself to be a member of the opposite sex and to have the government validate that delusion on demand. No one, anywhere in the world, has properly grappled with the implications of this. Most of the people pushing back globally are politically left-leaning feminists, and the vast majority of people (regardless of political orientation) agree with us.

Feminists have argued for years that allowing anyone to "self-identify" as any gender will result in men forcing themselves into women's spaces. This is already happening in the U.S. at the state level. Many states allow men to be housed in women's prisons on the basis of their self-declared "female gender identity." California's SB 132 was enacted in 2020 and went into effect in January 2021. Washington state does the same thing by way of administrative policy. New Jersey implemented a similar policy through a settlement agreement with the ACLU. Incarcerated women all over the country are being assaulted, raped, and impregnated by men who claim to be women (many of whom have been convicted of very serious crimes like rape and murder). These women are terrified. This should be a national and international scandal.

We Have to be Salt and Light in this Age of Deception

 Here is a great article reminding all believers that we can’t check out and remain silent as the world falls into mass deception.  Salt is a preservative and won’t stop the world from rotting but will slow it down.  Light is Jesus Christ that we are supposed to shine into the darkness until He returns for us.  We have a huge mission field at this time, so Onward Christian Soldiers!

As we face these last days, the devil wants to revive ‘the Dark Ages,’ so to speak. He wants a spiritual dark age. Don’t let the darkness win! Refuse to allow the world to rot and waste away. Don’t be safe, be salient. Don’t go dark at the precise moment the world is agonizing for Light. Don’t go silent just when the world is desperate for the “Word of Life” (1 John 1:1).

These are the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-12). The most recent Pew Research Poll shows that 55% of Americans believe we live in the End Times. Not 55% of Christians, church-goers, or Bible-readers; 55% of all Americans. The fields are truly ripe for harvesting (John 4:35).

What will the End Times be like? Dark. Lonely. Desperate. Filled with rage, war, pestilence (disease), and societal upheaval. We see Jesus’ words in Matthew 24 happening as if the pages of the Bible were being written before our eyes. Religious persecution, famine, natural disasters, a spirit of antichrist, and financial crises are here and multiplying. Could there be a better description of our time? Church, this is our moment!

Be His voice in the silence. Be His light in the darkness. Be His salt in the time of decay and tastelessness.

Have you ever had the lights come on at a time you wished for darkness? If you have, you know the world’s reaction won’t be positive when we point the light into their evil deeds or shine God’s Word into their darkened hearts.

Speak the Unwelcome Truth 

Don’t expect hugs and kisses when you speak the truth to people who want to hear lies, soothing words, and calming babble (2 Timothy 4:3). Truth won’t be popular when cleverly devised fables are in vogue (2 Peter 1:16).

The world has become accustomed to hearing lies. This is like Ezekiel’s account when God said His people were being led astray by leaders saying soothingly, “Peace, peace…’ when there is no peace…” (Ezekiel 13:10).

Bethlehem in Prophecy

 The Jews knew their savior would be born in Bethlehem.  The prophet Micah clearly said this almost 700 years before Jesus was born.  Bethlehem literally means “house of bread”, and ephrathah means “fruitful”.

Micah 5

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
    though you are small among the clans[b] of Judah,
out of you will come for me
    one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
    from ancient times.”

The Jews rejected Him because he was meek and mild and they were expecting a ruler who would lead them out of bondage by kicking some Roman butt and make Israel a leading nation in the world.

Micah 5

10 “In that day,” declares the Lord,

“I will destroy your horses from among you
    and demolish your chariots.
11 I will destroy the cities of your land
    and tear down all your strongholds.
12 I will destroy your witchcraft
    and you will no longer cast spells.
13 I will destroy your idols
    and your sacred stones from among you;
you will no longer bow down
    to the work of your hands.
14 I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles[e]
    when I demolish your cities.
15 I will take vengeance in anger and wrath
    on the nations that have not obeyed me.”

They were blinded and couldn’t understand that the Messiah would come first as the suffering, lamb of God to take away the sin of the world, but would come again as judge and ruler of the world.  This will continue for Israel until the “fullness of the gentiles come in”.

So out of the place that King David was from, a fruitful place (Bethlehem) gave us all the Bread of Life.

Webster Dictionary Changes Definition of “Woman”

 This whole thing of not knowing what a woman is should be a real warning to show how ridiculous this progressive movement on the Left has become.  We can't even share a common language anymore with our own citizens.  What is a woman?  No one on the Left seems to be able to answer that.  "It's someone who identifies as female."  OK, well then can you tell me what a female is?  It's someone who identifies as a woman."

And now the progressives have even brainwashed the academics at the dictionary companies.  I guess it's not a surprise.  But it should be concerning to those of us who refuse to speak the new language.  Because they WILL BE COMING FOR US if the Lord tarries.

Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary has caved to the trans agenda. In order to appease woke activists, the dictionary publisher has added a secondary definition of “female” that defines the term as “having a gender identity that is the opposite of male.” The key term here is “gender identity,” which demonstrates that Merriam-Webster maintains that gender is not directly connected to sex. A female is a woman. Trans-identifying males are not female. However, according to trans activists, men can be women.

This is not the only part of the definition that has changed in the online edition of Merriam-Webster. Notice the primary definition of female: “Of, relating to, or being the sex that typically has the capacity to bear young or produce eggs.” In Merriam-Webster’s tenth edition, the dictionary defines the noun female as “of, relating to, or being the sex that bears young or produces eggs.” The change in the online edition to include the phrase, “typically has the capacity” shows Merriam-Webster’s attempt to include trans-identifying males in the definition of female. While this phrase may refer to women who cannot bear children due to infertility, given their nod to “gender identity” in defining the word “female,” it is most likely another way to appease the trans community. 

Ironically, the “kids definition” of the adjective “female” in the online edition remains the original one: “of, relating to, or being the sex that bears young or lays eggs.” We are at a point when the children’s definition of a word is the real definition while the adult definition is politicized nonsense.

The insanity continues. The Left understands the importance of controlling language. Once one controls language, one can shift the culture to one’s will. Unfortunately, there is no end in sight until a major cultural shift takes place that dispels the commonly held misconception that men can turn into women and vice versa.

My wife saw a commercial on TV last night during prime time that was advertising menstrual  pads.  The ad had an obvious transgender man shopping for the pads.  I guess some men who pretend to be women like to shop for and carry tampons and pads because it makes them feel more womanly to actually do womanly things.  Oh yeah....what actually are "womanly things?"  It can't be answered by those on the Left.  And make no mistake, they are COMING FOR YOUR KIDS.  By the time today's 2 yr old becomes a voting 18 year old they will have seen and heard thousands of examples of "men becoming women" and it will be normalized in their minds.  It won't be considered weird at all!

Those Folks Who Say, “Nothing Bad is Going to Happen”

I realize that some passages are meant simply for the Jews of ancient Israel.  But I also realize that God is never changing and that some prophecies have dual fulfillment.  They were fulfilled in one way soon after the prophet spoke the words but they will be fulfilled again in the very Last Days.

Today in my daily Bible reading I saw this passage and even though I have read it before I can't say that I remembered it.  I think of America as I read this.  Yes, every nation is filled with sinners because all have sinned.  But America has been SO blessed that it's painful to watch as we jettison Jesus from the public square, we openly vacation in SIN CITY with plans for sin, we put our stamp of approval on gay marriage and make a mockery of male and female.

So read from Amos and see how God felt about His people living lives of decadent sin.  Also think of the people who have told me so many times, "Yeah but Dennis, this is America!  Nothing bad is ever going to happen to us!  Disaster will not overtake or meet us!"

Thou Shall Not Steal

 Since few Americans are taught that stealing is wrong, theft is out of control.  When millions believe that they deserve to have anything they want and they justify it in their hearts with the thought of “if anyone has it then so should I!”, then we can know that our society is doomed.  It takes a dozen people to care for one criminal and that means those dozen aren’t producing anything of value.  Police to arrest, lawyers to prosecute and defend, prison guards to tend, mental health workers to try and fix...ultimately the bad people swamp the boat because there aren’t enough good people producing and paying taxes to pay for the thieves.

Stores across the U.S. are grappling with a huge uptick in shoplifting that could lead to higher prices and closed stores if the problem persists, said Walmart CEO Doug McMillon. Most of the shoplifting is organized retail theft rather than petty theft. Most of the products targeted have a high resale value.

Walmart is having to lock up a growing number of items that used to sit openly on shelves. In the store in my town, I’ve noticed a growing number of cameras from various allies. The first camera I noticed was in the baby food section. I couldn’t understand why people would steal this product, but Infinity formula sells well on ebay.com.

Walmart isn’t the only big box retailer dealing with an uptick in theft. Last month, Target Chief Financial Officer Michael Fiddelke said shoplifting has jumped about 50% year over year, leading to more than $400 million in losses in this fiscal year alone.

Many drugstore chains have had to cut their losses by closing hundreds of stores. Rite Aid is planning on closing 97 stores. The firm’s executive vice president of retail, Andre Persaud, said the day may come when all Rite Aid stores will be like a big vending machine with everything behind plexiglass to slow down thefts.

One woman who owned a high-end clothing store had to close her Business after it was broken into 17 times. Burglaries in St. Louis went door-to-door breaking into nearly two dozen businesses. DB’s Sports Bar owner Justin Gibson said this is the fourth time DB’s has been broken into this year.

“You’re taking food out of our mouths,” Gibson said. “It’s already hard times with inflation, and now we’re having to make these repairs constantly and hire extra security. We’re stretched very, very thin.”

Package theft in some areas is so bad that people can’t have packages delivered to their homes. I’m lucky to live in an area where I’ve never had something stolen from my doorstep. I recently watched a video where a guy did a funny prank on these thieves. He had a package next to his home on a long wire. When several thieves grabbed the box, he would chase after them, and they would be knocked to the ground when the length of the wire ran out.

The liberal media, always ready to defend criminals, said that soaring inflation is what triggers the crime wave. Richard Rosenfeld, a professor of criminology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, told Insider that property crime would jump this year as rising prices push consumers into the black market.

The real problem is that many people have become extremely evil. They think they are entitled to take stuff that they didn’t purchase. One guy at Home Depot loaded up a cart with three power washers and began walking out the door with them. When an 80-year-old employee tried to confront him, he just pushed him into a wall, which led to the worker’s death.

A huge factor that is embodying thieves is the meltdown of our legal system. San Francisco encouraged theft by only having criminal prosecution of people who steal items worth my than $900. So people boldly walk into a Walgreens, load their bags with items worth less than the new limit, and walk out of the store. One woman was robbed by a man who had been arrested 50 times in recent years. Another woman was brutally beaten over her purse. The man who attacked her was arrested and only given a $500 bail.

I once watched a video of a man in Singapore demonstrating how much crime is related to culture. He was in a cafe and left his laptop on the table and went around a mall for about half an hour. When he came back, the laptop was still there. Crime is very low in Singapore because people are taught it’s wrong.

Fear can also be a motivator of morality. If you go to a gold jewelry shop in Saudi Arabia, the dealers will let you handle all the gold products. It’s well understood that if you get caught trying to steal from the shop, they’ll cut your head off.

The extreme criminal nature of American society is a strong indication that our nation is doomed. Unless we return to our moral foundation, we will die like a hundred other empires that lost their soul.

What Ever Happened to that “Crippling Diesel Fuel Shortage”?

• Back on about November 1 there were headlines everywhere suggesting that America was about to run out of diesel fuel.  Of course if that happened America would be in total meltdown mode because everything we eat, drink and buy is delivered to us using a truck burning diesel.  But since then we have watched the price of diesel fall by almost $1 per gallon which suggests there isn’t a shortage. It would appear that some reporters saw the statistic that there were only 25 days of diesel fuel in storage and they thought that was an impossibly low and dangerous number, but really it wasn’t. 

  It’s important to remember that news sources love to shock and terrify.  That’s how they get you to consume their news!  This blog has always just been about posting the headlines that we see and not necessarily analyzing the truth in the shock value of the headline. We blogged about the diesel fuel shortage back on November 1 because it was all over the news. We believe that all these dire headlines are just foreshadowing of how the world will one day meltdown during the great Tribulation.  There WILL BE a massive shortage of everything.  But not today.  So remember to read the headlines but maintain the Joy of the Lord, because that is our strength.

  While stockpiles of distillate fuels (diesel and heating oil) are low, the country is not going to suddenly run out of diesel fuel, despite reports of a diesel shortage driven by widespread misunderstanding of a government statistic, according to industry officials.

  Looking specifically at the ultra-low sulfur diesel used in on-highway trucks and buses, stocks were about 95 million gallons for the weeks ending Oct. 14 and Oct. 21, according to EIA. This was down from 106.6 million in mid-September. The last time it was in this territory was late April and early May. Before this year, however, November 2014 was the last time ULSD stocks dipped below 100,000, records show.

  There are several factors at play in the low distillate stocks:

  • Fall is a time when refineries typically do maintenance. Tom Kloza with the Oil Price Information Service told CNBC, “October had the most refinery maintenance in the United States probably in a number of years.”
• S. refinery capacity has fallen in the past few years as some unprofitable refineries were closed.
• The cutoff of Russian oil imports. According to Forbes, before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. was importing nearly 700,000 barrels per day of petroleum and petroleum products. Most of those imports were finished products and refinery inputs that boosted distillate supplies in the U.S, according to Forbes.

“Refineries do have a small amount of flexibility in shifting gasoline production to diesel production,” wrote Forbes’ Robert Rapier. “But it’s a relatively small amount.”

Some ocean tankers carrying diesel to Europe have been re-routed to the U.S., according to Reuters.

At the same time, there is increased demand for diesel because Mississippi River drought is forcing barge freight onto trucks. In the Northeast, the demand for heating oil is growing as that region moves into the winter months.

In its Oct. 12 Short-Term Energy Outlook, the EIA forecast that average household expenditures for home heating fuels would increase this winter because of both higher expected fuel costs and higher energy consumption due to colder temperatures. Compared with last winter, it predicts heating oil prices will rise by 27 percent from October to March.
