Indians Find Significance in White Buffalo Calf

All men are born into sin.  All men are subject to satanic deception.  Think of Adam and Eve with the serpent.  Think of Joseph Smith and some angel named Maroni.  Think of Muhammad in a cave with an angel telling him a “new gospel”.  And now think of how lost the American Indians were before Christians came to this new land.  Many of them were summoning dead relatives during their spirit quests and we know who shows up when you summon dead people.  And today we read about a white buffalo calf which maybe is going to bring back a white buffalo woman.  This woman transformed (shape shifted?)from a beautiful maiden into a white buffalo.

I’ve been to the Pine Ridge reservation.  It’s a dark and demonic place that feels mostly devoid of Jesus.  How much more will these people fall into satanic deception as they focus on “positive energy”, white buffalos who can be a woman too and saving “Mother Earth” cuz she has a fever.  They will be ripe for Satanic delusion following the rapture.

We all need Jesus because, like sheep, we have all gone astray.

YELLOWSTONE, MT— Once every 22.75 years a white buffalo calf is born somewhere in North America. This is just an average. Between 1933 and 1994 there are no known white buffalo calf births. Last month a white buffalo calf was born at Montana’s section of Yellowstone National Park, in the Lamar Valley, on June 4, the first since 2012. Photos were taken but the calf is nowhere to be seen since, and Park authorities say it is highly likely the calf has died, as one in five calves are lost in the weeks following their birth. There is also the possibility the calf could have been taken, although Park spokespeople have not speculated such.

A white buffalo calf is not an albino. Albino bison are far more common and are often mistaken for white buffalo calves. An actual white buffalo calf is what biologists call leucistic, because the calf has dark eyes and hooves, only the fur is white, just as the White Buffalo Calf Woman was described when she transformed from a beautiful maiden into the buffalo calf.

Looking Horse, Keeper of the Sacred Pipe, has said that “Mother Earth is sick and has a fever,” and that the birth of a white buffalo calf has a double significance. It can mean the second coming of the White Buffalo Calf Woman, or Looking Horse said it could be a warning, that we must do more to protect the earth.

There were about 500 people at the ceremony, about the size of a traditional tiospaye, and other tribes were present: Coleville Tribes from Washington State, Northern Arapahoe from Wyoming, and Shoshone- Bannock from Idaho.

Back in the depths of time, and it is not known how far back, the Lakota believe that two young hunters came upon a beautiful maiden. One tried to have his way with her, and she turned him into a pile of bones. She went back with the other hunter to the tiospaye, where she transformed into a white buffalo calf, and she told them of sacred ceremonies, and promised to return. Since that time, and despite all the historical tragedy and trauma, the Lakota have striven to uphold and honor that sacred teaching. 

Looking Horse said to those gathered at the ceremony, “It’s up to each and every one of you to make it happen for the future of our children. We must come together and bring that good energy back.”

Japan Floundering Under 260% of GDP Debt

 I remember in 1987 when I got my securities license.  It was the month of September and happened to be right before Black Monday which took the US DJIA down 22.6% in a single day!  It continues to be the largest single day drop recorded by DJIA. (Dow Jones Industrial Average)  I really didn't have any clients in the market because I really didn't have any clients yet so I just stood by and listened.  There were no computers and no cable TV so we basically had to come to the office on Tuesday and all read the Wall Street Journal to figure out what had happened.

Of course as America was feeling very poorly about itself with high inflation, low production, crappy cars and a crappy stock market, Japan was riding high.  The world looked at Japan in the 80's and 90's as the whiz kid of the world.  They could do no wrong!  Their employees were happy, they made incredible cars and they had virtually no crime throughout the entire country.

But it's hard to stay on top forever.  Just a few weeks ago Japan saw it's largest single-day stock market drop EVER.  They started borrowing money 20+ years ago to finance the things they couldn't afford anymore and today their debt stands at 260% of GDP which is almost DOUBLE what the US Government owes.

A little over a week ago, a financial crisis erupted into the headlines as the unraveling of the Japanese yen carry trade led to the biggest two-day drop in Japanese stock market history.

While everything appears calm for the moment (at least, as I write this article), know this - it's not. What took place last week is only the beginning of a much larger financial crisis, and it's going to get far worse before it ends. The only question now is how quickly will it all unfold? A growing crisis is inevitable, and the reason is simple...

The Bank of Japan is trapped.

Back in May, I wrote "6 Potential Triggers for the Next Global Financial Crisis." The second trigger listed was a Japanese currency crisis:

"Meanwhile, the world's fourth largest economy is on the verge of a major currency crisis. The Japanese yen currently sits at its lowest level relative to the U.S. dollar since 1990. To prevent the situation from getting worse will likely require the Bank of Japan to raise interest rates or the U.S. Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. Given the recent persistence of inflation, it's unlikely we'll see the U.S. lower rates in the short-term (absent a major financial crisis). This means the Bank of Japan may be forced to raise rates and take other measures to defend its currency.

But this will cause a number of problems. First, the Japanese economy is in recession. Raising rates will only make the problem worse. Second, Japanese government debt stands at over 260% of GDP. Believe it or not, that's twice as bad as the United States. 

Raising rates means more interest on the national debt, potentially sparking a debt spiral that could destroy the country. Furthermore, if the Bank of Japan starts hiking rates, this could cause a reversal of the yen carry trade (succinctly explained here), which could quickly lead to a disorderly unraveling of financial positions all over the world. Along the way, we could see margin calls and exploding derivatives positions that crash global financial markets."

As you can see, the Bank of Japan can choose one of two roads:

1) Raise Interest Rates and Destroy the Domestic Economy - Raising rates will strengthen the yen. But as we saw last week, it will also lead to a reversal of the yen carry trade with enormous implications for global financial markets. It will also weaken the Japanese economy, and increase the interest paid on a Japanese government debt load too onerous to ever be paid back. In addition, it puts further strain on the Japanese banking system by increasing the amount of unrealized losses on bank balance sheets - likely resulting in bank runs. Ultimately, raising interest rates will destroy the Japanese economy.

2) Lower Interest Rates and Destroy the Domestic Economy - Likewise, lowering rates will cause the yen to depreciate relative to other currencies (in particular, the dollar). While it will decrease the stress on Japanese bank balance sheets and the amount of interest paid on the Japanese government debt, it will unleash domestic inflation sure to ravage the finances of the average Japanese citizen. 

More and more of the average household budget will be earmarked for essentials, and discretionary consumer spending will contract. Worst of all, increased fossil fuel prices will weigh down every aspect of the economy, as Japan remains heavily reliant on imported oil. And that oil needs to be purchased in dollars using an ever increasing number of yen. Ultimately, lowering interest rates will destroy the Japanese economy.

In case you missed it, the big takeaway is this - no matter what the Bank of Japan does, the result will be the same. And, as the fourth largest economy in the world, the destruction of the Japanese economy (whether through a deflationary spiral or hyperinflationary collapse) will severely weaken the entire global economy. Moreover, this is happening while almost every other industrialized nation in the world is on the brink of economic calamity due their own problems with over-indebtedness.

That's why this crisis is far from over. In fact, just ahead of us is the greatest economic and financial crisis in history.

When the dust settles, the world will find itself trapped in a system indistinguishable in both capability and function from the mark of the beast system outlined in Revelation 13:16-17 - setting the stage for the roll out of the actual mark of the beast system. How will that happen?

Several interim steps stand between the current crisis and the global financial tyranny the Bible tells us is coming. I believe those steps are as follows:

STEP #1 - Continued Volatility

Expect to see continued volatility in global financial markets. Anticipate bear markets in stocks, real estate, and corporate debt in the United States, Japan, Europe, and almost every nation in the world. In the days and weeks ahead, expect to see a number of major financial events dominate news headlines. We may even see an epic crash in one or more of these markets. Expect to see increased job losses across all industries. However, these events will only be the beginning of the economic turmoil. The worst is yet to come.

STEP #2 - Debt Hits Its Limit

Eventually, the world will hit peak debt. The ability of consumers, corporations, and governments to take on new debt will hit its limit. Our current monetary system is a debt-based monetary system. This means in order to continue functioning properly, it requires the creation of ever greater amounts of debt. Essentially, it's no different than a Ponzi scheme.

The Bible says a day is coming when everyone on earth needs to have a mark on their body in order to buy or sell anything.  Cash will be worthless and a new system of digital currency needs to be rolled out.  How can that happen?  When faith and confidence collapses in the Japanese system it could tear into the faith and confidence of the US Dollar.  When that happens the world will demand a new reserve currency to replace the US Dollar.  And that currency WILL BE a digital currency that will one day be controlled by the Antichrist.

We don't know if this will all happen before or after the rapture.  As we have written before, we tend to believe it will happen after the rapture because UP TO the rapture people will be marrying, planning marriages, eating, drinking, planting crops and building houses.  In essence everything will be "about normal".

Collapsing the US Dollar and the entire global economy will certainly put a temporary halt on all of these activities.

So be ready!

Main Persecutor of Christians is Islam

 Here in America we haven't had to worry about physical persecution for those of us who follow Christ.  But for 365 million followers around the world, their reality is much different.  

More than 365 million Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith, according to the Open Doors World Watch List 2024.

The top ten countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution are North Korea, Somalia, Libya, Eritrea, Yemen, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Iran, and Afghanistan.

Except for North Korea, where the persecution is caused by "dictatorial paranoia" and "communist and post-communist oppression," the main religion of all other countries and groups on the list is Islam. According to Open Doors:

"Being discovered to be a Christian in North Korea is effectively a death sentence. Either believers will be deported to labour camps as political criminals, where they face a life of hard labor which few survive, or they are killed on the spot. The same fate awaits family members. There are believed to be tens of thousands of Christians held in labor camps across the country.

"It's impossible for Christians to live freely in North Korea. Meeting for worship is almost impossible and must be done in utmost secrecy, and at grave risk. In May 2023, five members of a family were arrested as they gathered for prayer and Bible study. Christian literature was also confiscated."

Somalia, where Christians face extreme persecution, has been going through a civil war since 1991. As Freedom House reports:

"Somalia has struggled to reestablish a functioning state since the collapse of an authoritarian regime in 1991. Limited, indirect elections brought a federal government to power in 2012... The government's territorial control is also contested by a separatist government in Somaliland and by the Shabaab, an Islamist militant group. No direct national elections have been held to date, and political affairs remain dominated by clan divisions. Amid ongoing insecurity, human rights abuses by both state and nonstate actors occur regularly."

According to Open Doors, Christians in the country are affected the worst:

"The dangers of being a Christian in Somalia are extreme. Most, if not all, are converts from Muslim backgrounds, making them a high-value target for al-Shabab, a militant group that has repeatedly expressed its desire to eradicate Christians from the country. If discovered, believers could be killed on the spot...

"No area is safe for Christians in Somalia. However, the most dangerous places are the areas under the control of al-Shabab, particularly in the south and southwest."

Libya ranks third:

"Converts from Islam face the most intense and violent pressure from their family and community. They risk house arrest, attack, abduction, sexual violence and murder. It is incredibly dangerous for converts to meet together to worship, and church life is almost non-existent.

"Even Christians who aren't Libyan or converts are at risk. Christians from other parts of Africa are targeted by extremist groups. Christians have been kidnapped and, in a few high-profile incidents, brutally murdered. Christians from Sub-Saharan Africa, many of whom come to Libya as displaced people trying to get to Europe, face additional risk. Because of their lack of official status, they can be kidnapped and trafficked, and extremist groups target these believers as well."

In Eritrea, known as the "North Korea of Africa" due to its intense authoritarian government, "all Christians face intense scrutiny from the government, risking arrest and indefinite detention". According to Freedom House:

"Eritrea is a militarized authoritarian state that has not held a national election since independence from Ethiopia in 1993. The People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ), headed by President Isaias Afwerki, is the sole political party. Arbitrary detention is commonplace, and citizens are required to perform national service, often for their entire working lives. The government shut down all independent media in 2001."

Yemen, which ranks fifth in the list, "has no functioning central government with full control over its territory," notes the Freedom House.

"Yemen... has been devastated by a civil war involving regional powers since 2015. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and their allies intervened that year to support the government of President Abd Rabbu Mansur Hadi against Ansar Allah (Supporters of God), also known as the Houthis—an armed rebel movement that is rooted in the Zaidi Shiite community, which forms a large minority concentrated in northwestern Yemen."

Christians across Yemen continue to face extreme persecution:

"Most believers are Yemeni and come from Muslim backgrounds. As conversion from Islam is forbidden by Islamic and state law, Christians must keep their faith secret, or risk severe repercussions from their families, the authorities or radical Islamic groups. This can include divorce, loss of custody of children, arrest, interrogation and even death.

"The humanitarian crisis caused by Yemen's 10-year civil war has also exacerbated the pressure on believers. While some relief aid is available, this is mostly distributed through local Muslim groups and mosques, which are alleged to be discriminating against anyone not considered a devout Muslim.

"Christians across Yemen face dangers for their faith. Even in comparatively liberal areas, such as large cities, displaying a Christian symbol can have serious consequences.

"Pressure is particularly strong on converts living in the northern areas controlled by Houthis (an armed rebel movement). These areas are more heavily policed and, given the poverty that people live in, spying is commonly used to court favor with the local authorities, who are relied upon for aid. The Houthi's internal security forces even operate an intelligence unit that roots out apostates.

"Christians in southern rural areas are also particularly at risk due to the aggressive expansion of al-Qaeda in the region."

Home to some of the world's largest Muslim and Christian populations, Nigeria has a Christian population of over 100 million, who are subject to extreme persecution and genocide in the country. According to Open Doors:

"Christians in Nigeria, particularly in the Muslim-majority north, continue to live under immense pressure and to be terrorized with devastating impunity by Islamic militants and armed 'bandits.' More believers are killed for their faith in Nigeria each year, than everywhere else in the world combined. The attacks are often brutal in nature and can involve destruction of properties, abductions for ransom, sexual violence and death. Believers are stripped of their livelihoods and driven from their homes, leaving a trail of trauma and grief.

"Violence by Islamic extremist groups such as Fulani militants, Boko Haram and ISWAP (Islamic State in West African Province) increased during the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari, putting Nigeria at the epicenter of targeted violence against the church. The government's failure to protect Christians and punish perpetrators has only strengthened the militants' influence...

"The persecution of believers is most common in the northern Shariah states, where the small pockets of Christian communities in rural areas are particularly vulnerable to violent attacks. However, attacks are increasingly spreading southward, to where the majority of Nigeria's Christians live."

Many of these Christians may wonder if the church is already suffering through the Great Tribulation.  The answer to that would be a hard 'no'.  Christians are suffering around the world because of Satan and his demons, but they will NEVER suffer the wrath of God that is poured out during the Great Tribulation.  Jesus took all the wrath so that we don't have to.  Preaching/teaching anything else mitigates the work Jesus did on the cross.

1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let's all remember to pray for the persecuted church as I'm guilty of not remembering them more often.

America’s Torrid Affair with Credit Cards

 Americans love to buy stuff they can’t afford and don’t have the money for.  Our government is the perfect role model of buying things they don’t have the money for.  And the citizens of this country have followed by example.

Check out this paragraph from an article about credit debt and notice the word “ever” being used.  As long time readers will know, we pay attention to articles that use the word “never” and “ever”.

The Astonishing Foolishness of the Godless

 How many times have you looked at the news and asked yourself, "how can such insanity even be possible?"  How could smart people think it's OK to let gays in a parade expose their genitals to little kids on a parade route?  How could smart people think a woman is pregnant with anything else but a human being?  How can smart people think that printing trillions of dollars out of thin air won't have consequences?  How can smart people believe that everything we see was created by nothing and no one?

The list of insanity goes on and on.

Of course Bible readers actually know the answer.  And  we can be assured that the insanity, foolishness and futile thinking will only get worse...not better.

Why?  Because humanity is rejecting God and our only access to Him through Jesus Christ.

Mind-blowing, staggering, senseless, mindless, and just plain old unbelievable is the astonishing foolishness of the godless.

Who are the godless, and how do we know that they are godless?

There are basically two kinds of godlessness.

One type is called atheism and is embodied by people who openly admit that they want no part of any belief in God. For example, those Democrats who attended the Democratic Convention in 2016, who all together rejected any mention of God at their convention. For those readers who recall, thousands of attendees stood up and vehemently made it known that any mention of God would not be tolerated at their convention. That included asking God to bless America.

Some of those rejectors of God will still claim to be Christians who believe in God, but God Himself says, “They shall be known by their fruits.”

That would also include the Rino Brigade. The Rinos pretend to have conservative values but, in reality, are hardcore leftists full of treachery and betrayal. Republican In Name Only (Rino).

Common sense tells us that the Democrats demanding that God be altogether expelled from their political party and kicked out of their club, so to speak, are not the “fruits” you would expect from true believers.

Leftists who refer to themselves as democratic socialists, communists, secularists, humanists, and evolutionists are atheistic people who generally do not believe in an intelligent creator who is also known as God.

Especially if any reference is made to Jesus as being the Son of God.

To an atheist, any number of unprovable and often completely ridiculous man-made theories regarding the origin of man is preferable to the notion that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, as well as an accurate account of history here on planet Earth.

A second type of godlessness is practiced by millions and millions of human beings who believe in one or more of a plethora of false gods.

In the Old Testament, false gods are ridiculed by God Himself through His Prophets. Ridiculed as useless figments of the satanically deceived imaginations of humans, and useless is what they literally are.

Except to Satan.

They are very useful to that bent one and his ongoing deceptions. Ongoing deceptions starting in the Garden of Eden and continuing to this day with great success in regard to deceiving the lost into rejecting the One True God.

The one and only One True God, who is capable of actually saving the deceived unbelievers from Satan, and from themselves.

Painting a face on a large boulder or a wooden carving and naming it Baal or Molech and then building temples where people gather to worship it and pray to it and sacrifice their children to it does not make it God. Also, it doesn’t make it a god or anything remotely resembling the actual One True God, aka the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 41:21-23 records the Lord our God issuing a challenge to those who believed in idols and false gods.

“The Lord, the king of Jacob, says, ‘Come, present your arguments. Show me your proof. Let your idols come in and tell us what will happen. Idols, tell us what happened in the beginning. We will listen closely so we can make a decision. Tell us what will happen in the future. What signs did you give in the past to prove that you really are gods?

“Do something! Do anything, good or bad, so that we can see that you are alive. Then we might fear and respect you.'”

Verse 24 adds this: “Look, you false gods are worthless. You cannot do anything. Only some horrible fool would want to worship you.”

Another popular group of false gods are the various nature gods and celestial gods such as the sun or the moon. Fertility goddesses complete with debased temple prostitution rituals and war-like moon gods who convert with threats and at the tip of a sword. Such as these have been embraced by deceived lovers of sin and violence throughout history.

The deceived being those who prefer worshiping things that were created rather than worshiping the One who created them.

The deceived, like the folks that believe that if you ask the universe to provide something for you, it will.

Even though the universe is 100% impersonal, as it is a created place and as incapable of hearing or helping you as a rock with a face painted on it.

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

The above proverb is the antithesis of what Satan convinced Eve of in the Garden. Eve was deceived into believing that she could become like God and to know all about good and evil through her own understanding. She then shared this faulty logic with Adam, and together, they partook in the most infamous meal of all time.

Since then, millions and millions of souls have fallen for this exact same deception.

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice” (Proverbs 12:15)

“One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless” (Proverbs 14:16).

“For although they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:21-22).

Speaking to Timothy about what the deceived would be like in the last days just before the return of Jesus, Paul said this: “Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.”

The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony offered to the whole world a portrait of such foolishness when a troupe of drag queens posed together in mimicry of Leonardo Da Vinci’s portrait of Jesus with His disciples at the Last Supper.

The drag queens posed together along the runway in open mockery and blatant blasphemy of the Lord Jesus and His disciples.

This was an insult as well to all who call Jesus their Lord and Savior.

One of the drag queens offered an unbiblical explanation about how they were just trying to be inclusive.

In the words of the Apostle Paul, “Claiming to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:21-22).

Galatians 6:7 offers this gem of wisdom to those who mock. “God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

The level of foolishness continues to sink to places of degradation that were not thought possible just 20 or 30 years ago.

Officials at the upper rungs of power in America and the entire Western world who are unable to define what a woman is, and who are convinced that a man can become pregnant with child, and are even incapable of answering simple yes or no questions, are examples of how the prince of the power of the air, aka Satan, is able to destroy minds as well capture souls.

The social media is Satan’s new most favorite tool to create a fool. Or, even whole armies of fools.

This side of the Rapture, an escape route from the slime pit of foolishness still exists, but it requires giving up on the original deception, which is the idea of “leaning on your own understanding.”

Escaping from the slime pit of foolishness requires believing in, trusting in, and turning your life over to Jesus Christ. With the help of the Holy Spirit, Jesus will cleanse your heart, renew your mind, and lead you to the truth in all things. Jesus will introduce you to His Father as your Heavenly Father. He will help you to understand that it is only He that can do this, for He is the Way and the Truth and the Life, and there is no other name under all of heaven whereby you or me or anyone at all can be saved.

In Romans 10:9-10, Paul speaks these words of Godly advice and pure truth to all who are seeking to leave foolishness behind, receive the gift of salvation, and begin the pursuit of wisdom:

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Saved from foolishness, saved from futile thinking, saved from performing acts of blasphemy, saved from a mind filled with mockery, and saved from the deception that causes a person to think they are smarter than He who created them.

The truth will set you free (John 8:32).

Jesus is the truth, and it is He who will indeed set you free.

US Dollar Will Go From “Buying Diamonds” to “Buying Cracker Jacks”

When Jesus said, “While they are saying ‘peace and safety’, destruction will come upon them suddenly”, this could be one way this plays out for the most wealthy, powerful nation to ever exist…USA.  While we are all living in our million dollar homes, counting our million dollar 401k and fighting over gender pronouns, transsexuals in locker rooms and old a baby has to be to legally kill it, the value of our money could collapse overnight, given the right set of circumstances.  As he says, you might get your money back from the US Treasury Bond or bank in which you deposited it, but if you deposited an amount that would have bought a diamond necklace, when you pull it out it may only buy a plastic necklace.  Most Americans will be bankrupted overnight.  No one will be standing in line to buy your million dollar property because their home value and bank account has plummeted.

When will this happen?  We are hopeful that it will happen AFTER the rapture and that the rapture event is what causes the sudden destruction of America.  All the signs are there.

Veteran macro investor Luke Gromen warns holders of US Treasuries that their investments will likely turn out to be unprofitable.

In a new interview with Nicole Shanahan, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s vice presidential running mate, Gromen says the United States’ lack of domestic manufacturing capacity is becoming a threat to national security.

Iran Expected to Join Hezbollah in Attack on Israel

 My daily Bible reading just happens to be in Psalms and a few days ago was Psalm 83.  While I don't believe that it's a prophecy, it sure is interesting how Asaph the Psalmist named all the enemies sitting on the borders of modern day Israel and asked God to come and destroy them because Israel was feeling totally surrounded and needed God's help.

Tyre is one of the enemies listed and we know that city sits in modern day Lebanon where Hezbollah is launching rockets from.  Hezbollah is also a proxy for Iran who has supplied the thousands of missiles they possess. 

Iran is feeling great pressure to take a swing at Israel since Israel killed a Hamas leader while he was visiting Iran.

Now today we read this headline.

Iran, Hezbollah Now Expected To Attack Israel Jointly 'Within Days'

A revised Israeli intelligence assessment suggests that Iran is slated to launch an assault on the Jewish state "within days" in a joint attack with its Lebanese Hezbollah proxy.

The report, which cited two sources with knowledge of the issue, said that Israeli intelligence indicates Tehran's attack could be launched before the Gaza ceasefire talks scheduled for Thursday.

The report marked a reversal of an Aug. 7 assessment, which had predicted Hezbollah would strike independently to avenge the killing two weeks ago of top commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut by Israel.

Israel's intelligence community still believes Hezbollah will attack first, the sources said.

The attacks are anticipated to be larger and more complicated than Tehran's April strike on the Jewish state and include the launching of missiles and drones at targets in Israel's densely populated center.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Sunday and told him that ongoing Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps preparations suggest Tehran is readying for another large-scale attack, said a source with knowledge of the call.

However, one of the sources with direct knowledge of the most recent Israeli intelligence said that the situation remains "fluid".

Iran blames Israel for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and has threatened harsh retaliation. Haniyeh's killing came just hours after Israel eliminated Shukr, who served as Hezbollah's No. 2 man, and the terrorist group has also threatened a significant response.

The whole world seems intent on destroying tiny, little Israel and driving those Jews into the sea.

God will use all this antisemitism to drive the Jews back to the promised land in preparation for the final 7 years that start with a peace agreement following the rapture.  

All of these headlines should certainly make it so that Christians who are awake "won't be surprised" if Jesus comes really soon.

Iran Knows It Can't Win a War Against Israel

 The fur continues to fly towards Israel.  Hezbollah throwing missiles, Yemen, Hamas and Iran all dream of destroying Israel.  The believe their hatred of Israel serves their god, Allah.  In reality they are serving the purposes of Satan who first deceived Muhammad in a cave 600 years after Christ ascended into heaven.

Currently Iran is still embarrassed by the assassination of Haniyeh (Hamas leader) while in Iran attending the ordination of Iran's new President.  So they HAVE to talk tough and say that Israel is going to pay for this crime against Allah.  But in reality the leaders of Iran know they couldn't win in a war with Israel.

For all Iran's threats to retaliate against Israel for assassinating key Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, the key concern for the ayatollahs will be that, in any confrontation with the Israeli military, they have no chance of winning.

Tensions between Iran and Israel have risen considerably since Israel was accused of carrying out the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran shortly after the swearing in ceremony for Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian last month.

Although Israel rarely confirms or denies its involvement in overseas assassinations, the Iranian regime has been quick to accuse Israel of killing Haniyeh, who reportedly died after a bomb exploded in his guest apartment in northern Tehran. A senior Hezbollah commander, Fuad Shukr, was assassinated in Beirut the previous day, in an operation for which Israel took credit.

Since then, the Iranian regime, together with the Hezbollah terrorist group it supports in southern Lebanon, have vowed to exact vengeance against Israel, prompting fears among Western diplomats that Tehran is seeking to provoke a major war in the Middle East.

Speaking at the UN shortly after the assassinations, Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran's ambassador, warned that Tehran would not hesitate to exercise its right to self-defence, pointing a finger at Israel for the assassination Haniyeh on Iranian soil.

In a letter to the United Nations on July 31, Iravani described the attack as "a severe infringement on [Iran's] sovereignty" that violated international law, adding: "The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to exercise its inherent right to self-defense."

The prospect of a major escalation in hostilities has prompted the US, the UK and France to warn their nationals to leave Lebanon in anticipation of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which has been launching near-daily attacks against northern Israel since October 7. Western military forces have been put on standby in the region to facilitate the evacuation of Western civilians if required.

Even so, the likelihood of Iran launching another attack against Israel in retaliation for Haniyeh's assassination appears to be receding, not least because Tehran is well aware that, in any major military confrontation with Israel, it will inevitably be the loser.

Only a few days ago, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that Iran was preparing a two-prong attack against Israel, with Tehran launching another missile assault from Iranians soil, while Hezbollah launched an attack from southern Lebanon.

That assessment has now been scaled down, with US officials reporting that Hezbollah is likely to carry out its own attack against Israel independent of whatever action Iran may be considering.

After days of waiting for Iran to launch an attack, Israeli officials also believe that the initial assault will not originate from Iran. The latest intelligence assessment by Israeli officials, reported on August 7, indicates a shift in expectations regarding the source of the anticipated attack.

Iran's reluctance to become involved in another direct confrontation with Israel is based on the humiliation it suffered in April, when its efforts to launch a combined missile and drone attack against Israel ended in ignominious failure. Of the 300 or so missiles and attack drones launched at Israel, only one managed to reach its target, causing minimal damage, with the majority of the projectiles being intercepted by Israel and its allies before reaching their targets.

Of even greater concern for Iran was the ease with which Israeli warplanes penetrated Iran's air defences to carry out a retaliatory attack against an Iranian air base on the outskirts of the central Iranian city of Isfahan, long regarded as the cradle of Iran's nuclear programme.

By targeting Isfahan, the Israelis were sending a clear signal to the ayatollahs that their prized nuclear installations -- which Western intelligence says are being used to develop nuclear weapons -- are vulnerable to attack by the Israelis.

Iran's concern about its military vulnerabilities explains why the ayatollahs have now turned to Russia to provide military assistance in their hour of need.

Iran has previously played a key role in supporting Russia's military campaign in Ukraine, where Iranian attack drones are regularly used to target key Ukrainian infrastructure.

With the prospect of renewed hostilities with Israel, the Iranians clearly believe that it is payback time so far as their alliance with Russia is concerned, a point they were keen to make during the recent visit to Tehran by Sergei Shoigu, Russia's former defence minister and a key ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During Shoigu's talks with Pezeshkian and senior Iranian security officials, the Iranians called on Russia to provide advanced air defence systems, as well as Su-35 fighter jets.

The Russians, though, will need to tread carefully in deciding how much support to provide their Iranian allies.

Putin long enjoyed a strong personal relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of Moscow's few bilateral ties that survived the Russian leader's disastrous decision to invade Ukraine in 2022.

From Israel's perspective, moreover, there is a strategic necessity to maintain ties with the Russian military, as the Russians continue to control most of the airspace in Syria as a result of their military intervention to keep the brutal regime of dictator Bashar al-Assad in power.

Cooperation between Israel and Russia has often resulted in the Russians turning a blind eye when Israel attacks Iranian positions in Syria, even though Russia and Iran are supposed to be allies working together in their joint venture to keep Syria's Assad regime in power.

In responding to Iran's desperate plea for more arms, therefore, Putin may be reluctant to take any action that could upset his delicate relationship with Israel.

The day IS COMING when Russia won't care about their 'delicate relationship with Israel'.  We are guessing that will come AFTER the rapture when America has serious problems with the 'faith and confidence" collapsing and their inability to protect Israel with their threats to "stay away".  At that point Russia will say to the Muslims, 'hey guys, there's no one stopping us now, how about we go into Israel and we will take the natural gas and you can do whatever you want with the Jews."
