A gorgeous partial lunar eclipse delighted stargazers overnight on Aug. 27-28, as Earth's shadow darkened the full "Sturgeon Moon" in an impressive display of orbital mechanics, and we've got the photos to prove it!

The lunar eclipse occurred as Earth passed between the sun and the moon, granting viewers a spectacular view of our planet's deep umbral shadow as it advanced to cover 96% of the lunar disk, leaving a tiny crescent exposed to direct sunlight.

Photographers were ready and waiting to capture the moon as it turned blood red around the point of maximum eclipse on Aug. 28, as light filtered through Earth's atmosphere via Rayleigh Scattering saturated its shadowed surface. Minnesota Continues Doing Things That Certify Common Sense Has Vanished

 Once God “gives you over” to foolish thinking and futility in your thinking process, only then can you become so delusional that you think it’s a good idea to house men in a woman’s prison and have the tax payers pay for cutting off penises and fashioning fake vaginas on your inmates.

The leaders of Minnesota have gone delusional.  We can pray that their godlessness doesn’t prevail.

A former inmate joined Liz Collin on her podcast with shocking new details about what’s really going on at Minnesota prisons as the mainstream media continues to remain silent.

Rebeca Warmbo spent more than a decade in and out of prison. She’s been helping with prison ministry ever since her release in 2019. As part of her efforts, she’s in regular contact with women who are in Shakopee correctional facility. Shakopee is supposed to be Minnesota’s prison for women, but that’s no longer the case.

In 2023, Gov. Tim Walz’s administration established a controversial transgender policy that allows biological men to be housed in Shakopee with biological women. While safety concerns, staff resignations, and inmate trauma have been adding up, Warmbo says that things have become even worse as taxpayer-funded sex-change surgeries have increased.

As Warmbo explained, once biological male inmates have sex-change surgeries, they’ll likely remain at Shakopee.

“They’re doing this because they’re afraid that when these new laws go into effect that they’re gonna get sent back to men’s prison. So they’re doing this so that they can guarantee that they can stay in a women’s prison,” Warmbo said, referring to the federal push to protect women’s spaces.

Warmbo also pointed out how some of the men are serving long-term, if not life, sentences and pose a lasting problem for the women inmates at Shakopee.

Last year, Warmbo spoke with Collin and sounded the alarm about biological men who “identify” as women being held at the women’s prison.

Now, however, Warmbo says the men at Shakopee are taking things a step further: some of the biological men are no longer just “identifying” as women — they’re getting “bottom surgery” to become physically more like women and taxpayers are paying for it.

“It’s shocking just that it’s even continuing … These men are being rushed in to get this bottom surgery suddenly when normally to get this process … it takes years to do, but suddenly now they’re approved to do it, even though they are men,” Warmbo explained.

Sources recently told Alpha News that Shakopee inmate Bradley Sirvio, a convicted murderer who beat a man to death with a hammer and set his house on fire, received “bottom surgery.”

Jews Continue Leaving North America to Move to Israel

 God said that He would re-gather the Jews to the land promised Abraham in the very Last Days.  We saw that start 100 years ago and move quickly during the Holocaust.  Then in 1948 we saw a modern-day miracle of the nation of Israel rising from the ashes after 2000 years.  Nowhere in history has this EVER happened where a people group came back and formed a nation after being gone for 2000 years.  ONLY God could orchestrate that.

Today we read that persecution of Jews is exploding all over the world.  Even in Canada and America.  And Jews are feeling the pull to get them back to Abraham's land.

More than 1,100 North American Jews have made aliyah to Israel in August alone, marking a record-breaking month for Jewish immigration from the United States and Canada — a powerful show of resilience that is expected to bring a significant boost to the country at a time of deep regional uncertainty.

On Thursday, 150 new olim arrived in Tel Aviv as Nefesh B’Nefesh (NBN), a nonprofit organization that promotes and facilitates aliyah from the US and Canada, welcomed another wave of newcomers as part of a surge in immigration to Israel.

Aliyah refers to the process of Jews immigrating to Israel, and olim refers to those who make this journey.

With approximately 2,700 North American immigrants already moving to Israel since the start of 2026, the August figures cap an exceptionally strong year for aliyah from the US and Canada.

Over an unprecedented summer immigration season, more than 2,200 North American immigrants, including some 480 families, are expected to arrive in Israel between June and September on nearly 100 organized group flights.

Founded in 2002, NBN helps olim become fully integrated members of Israeli society, simplifying the aliyah process and providing essential resources and guidance.

In partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Kayemeth, and the Jewish National Fund, NBN has helped nearly 100,000 olim build new lives in Israel.

With this momentum continuing, NBN estimates that more than 4,000 North American immigrants will make aliyah by the end of 2026, potentially making it one of the organization’s strongest years for immigration since its founding.

Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, co-founder and executive director of NBN, welcomed the wave of new arrivals, describing the surge as a powerful testament to the strength of Jewish identity and the desire to build a future in Israel.

“The historic wave of aliyah we are experiencing this summer is the most moving testimony to the resilience of the Jewish people and to the deep connection between North American Jewry and the State of Israel,” Fass said in a statement.

“The fact that thousands of families and young people are choosing to relocate their lives and build their futures here, especially at this time, is a Zionist shot in the arm and an enormous engine of growth for Israeli society and the economy,” he continued. “We are proud to stand alongside them and accompany them, together with our partners, as they begin a new chapter in Israel.”

Throughout the aliyah process, Nefesh B’Nefesh offers families comprehensive support before and after their move, helping them navigate immigration procedures and providing access to community programs, health-care services, and employment resources as they begin their new lives in Israel.

The Israeli government also provides a range of support and resources to ease the transition and adaptation for those taking this significant step, including housing subsidies and higher education incentives for young olim and professionals pursuing studies in Israel.

With an average age of 29, the current wave of North American olim includes some 480 families, roughly 1,100 single men, and women and approximately 250 retirees. The influx also includes around 700 children and teenagers expected to begin the upcoming school year in Israel, while another 300 young adults are expected to serve in the Israel Defense Forces or National Service after settling in the country.

NBN descried how, migrating from communities across the United States and Canada, these newcomers and families are settling throughout Israel to build communities and begin new lives of service and contribution to the Jewish state, bringing professional expertise in fields including medicine, nursing, education, law, accounting, and other sectors.

Most of the newcomers are expected to settle in communities across Israel, including Jerusalem, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Beit Shemesh, Ra’anana, Modi’in-Maccabim-Reut, and Haifa. 

As part of the “Zinuk Ba’Aliyah” program, approximately 650 immigrants are also expected to settle in the Negev and Galilee, the country’s southern and northern regions, respectively, in an effort to encourage Jewish settlement in national priority areas.

Jewish Agency chairman Maj.-Gen. (res.) Doron Almog praised the thousands of North American immigrants choosing to build their lives in Israel, saying their decision reflects a commitment to the country’s future.

“Behind each of the 1,100 immigrants who arrived from North America over the past month is a story of choice. Families, children, young people, and professionals who chose to build their lives here and be part of the future of the State of Israel,” Almog said in a statement.

“They arrive here with their dreams, their abilities, and their desire to contribute, and in doing so they strengthen Israeli society and the country as a whole,” he continued.

Social Security Train Wreck We All Knew Would Happen is Now Upon Us

 When SS was put on the books and made its first payment in 1940, it seemed like a great idea.  It was sold as being one part of a good retirement plan.  Personal savings, company pension and social security.

But today, all bets are off because few Americans have any personal savings, company pensions are no longer as 401k plans took over and now the social security pyramid scheme is about to run dry.  What is a politician to do?  How do you “fix” a plan that was started when the entire country was married and having 4 kids each.  The life expectancy was age 65 and so you didn’t get any money until you were nearly dead.

Today people live til 80-90 and young people don’t want to get married and they don’t want kids so the pyramid has turned upside down with more retirees than workers required to pay the retiree’s benefits.

Americans will soon vote ONLY for politicians who promise them the most free money and benefits because they have been dumbed down in our public schools for 30+ years now and have no idea how history or governments actually work.

A sudden cut to Social Security checks — long seen as a far-off doomsday — is now an imminent problem for the next president and whomever voters send to Congress in the coming years.

The trust fund that bankrolls monthly checks to retirees is set to be drained of reserves in late 2032. That means tens of millions of Americans age 62 and older, as well as children and widowed spouses who get survivor benefits following the death of a family member, would see their monthly payments shrink by more than 20 percent — or an average of about $500 a month — unless Congress and the president act.

Capitol Hill saw a noticeable surge this summer in the sense of urgency to enact a fix, and alliances have started forming between prominent Republicans and Democrats rallying for a solution. But President Donald Trump and congressional leaders have yet to join the calls to action or back any of the numerous bipartisan bills aimed at preventing benefit cuts.

“This train wreck is going to happen,” Rep. Steve Womack (R-Ark.) said in an interview. “So as early as six years from now, we’re going to have to have a plan. And of course, I’m a big believer that we need to deal with it now, or we need to start the process of dealing with it now.”

Trump has yet to signal interest in a specific fix for the federal government’s single largest safety-net program, sticking instead to broad promises to safeguard benefits.

House Appropriations Chair Tom Cole (R-Okla.) recalled discussing the issue with Trump during his first term as president.

“He said, ‘Tom, I’ll be for this the first day of my second term,’” Cole told reporters this summer about trying to get Trump to push for a fix. “Well, we’re here.”

White House spokesperson Liz Huston said in a statement that Trump “will always protect and strengthen Social Security” and noted that the Republican megabill enacted last summer created a temporary tax deduction for people 65 and older that can be used to reduce taxes owed on Social Security benefits.

“Under his leadership, there will be zero reductions to Social Security payments,” she said, without specifying how Trump proposes to address the 2032 cliff.

A Blanket of Delusion is Spreading Over America

 The Bible tells us in 2 Thessalonians that God will send great delusion to those who are left behind at the rapture and HEARD the Gospel message but rejected it.  If great events of God cast their shadows backward, could we be seeing delusion sweeping over a more and more godless America?  We deserve destruction and it will happen because America isn’t found in future prophecy.  We hope that the rapture is the event to bring sudden destruction to this nation but maybe we sure appear to be right on the very edge.  Delusion and reprobate minds are all around us.

A recent Atlas Intel poll — the most accurate pollster in both 2020 and 2024 election cycles — shows Alexandria Ocasio‑Cortez leading the 2028 Democratic presidential primary field for the first time, drawing 26% support among respondents and placing ahead of Pete Buttigieg (22.4%), Gavin Newsom (21.2%), and Kamala Harris (12.9%). This result has been widely interpreted as a sign of growing strength among progressive and socialist‑leaning voters inside the Democratic Party.

AOC formerly projected an image of a shrieking-witch type, strident, overbearing.  Now, her image remade, she is showing up on Sunday morning news programs as the girl next door, so sweet, so kind, and “no, I haven’t decided to run for president because I am working on getting health care for anyone, but at this juncture one can’t rule anything out.”  (Paraphrase of an August 9, NBC Meet the Press interview.)

That is a huge change in image, and leadership from a relatively short time ago.  A few years ago, Trump was It.  Now:  AOC.  Do you have whiplash?

Children of Satan

This is a spiritual phenomenon, from God’s hand.  God is doing this, using pagan leaders to do his bidding, as he did with Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Artaxerxes, Darius, and Pontius Pilate.  It is an awesome and terrifying thing to watch God at work.

God moves the minds of leaders like a gardener moves a garden hose.

The leftist mind is a reprobate mind.  It demands and expects something from you for nothing from me:  free medical, free education, free housing, and even free food.  It is a victim mentality:  you owe me.  It is the opposite of Paul’s dictum: you don’t work, you don’t eat. Under the guise of “being good” (Satan appears as an angel of light, after all), the left is reprobate, i.e., depraved, corrupted.  Even the slowest human could not misunderstand the quid pro quo of human commerce but for the fact of being demon-possessed or oppressed.

It is all magical thinking.  It is something for nothing.  It is victim mentality.  It is you owe me; I owe you nothing, and I’m not willing to work for anything.

It is also diametrically opposed to our history:  that of immigrants who wanted to work hard, contribute, earn a good wage, possibly start a business to serve others, own a home and raise a family.  Leftists are 180 degrees to this.

It is a blanket of delusion spread over the land, aided and abetted by God himself, who has given them over to their Satanic thinking.  “They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.” Jude 1.12.  Are churches teaching this?  Do pastors even know who the Left represents?

Here is the proof verse, and it is chilling, because after being rejected, God turns his back on those who reject him:

Romans 1:28 (King James Version): “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”
