Woke Mind Virus or WMV

It’s pretty funny to see the richest man on earth speaking some truth.  Today we find more chatter about Elon Musk and saying things will drive the Left bonkers.  Being woke is a virus that infects your mind, he says, and watching the 35 genders try to explain their pronouns and literally crying about being misgendered, pretty much proves his point.

The question to Elon Musk was a long time coming: What is the “woke mind virus,” anyway? 

For months and months, the world’s richest man has been talking about the “woke mind virus”—let’s call it WMV for short. He describes it as a threat to “modern civilization” and says those concerns motivated his decision more than a year ago to buy the social-media platform now known as X.

When it comes to how he defines that threat, however, he has been vague in public—painting a picture of something akin to hysterical groupthink by liberals against merit-based achievement and free speech, a catchall for what he expresses disagreement with. 

Musk has lately expounded more on what worries him, including earlier this month, when he was asked directly what he means by WMV and continued to attack

—which he calls “deeply infected”—after the company cut ad spending on X. 

 “The woke mind virus consists of creating very, very divisive identity politics…[that] amplifies racism; amplifies, frankly, sexism; and all of the -isms while claiming to do the opposite,” Musk said at an event in Italy. “It actually divides people and makes them hate each other and hate themselves.”

A few weeks earlier, during an appearance on a podcast, Musk summed it up simply as “communism rebranded.” 

Understanding what Musk means when he talks about WMV takes on greater importance as his stated concerns increasingly hang over any number of his actions—from how he manages X and positions the platform against the likes of Disney, to how his views might affect policies and customers at the other companies he runs. 

In apparent expansion of his anti-WMV views, Musk is now taking aim at a management effort known as diversity, equity and inclusion, or, DEI. “DEI must DIE,” he said in a tweet this month. “The point was to end discrimination, not replace it with different discrimination.”

Did Jesus Come to Bring Peace on Earth?

 It’s popular to say and believe that Christmas was a time that Jesus came to bring peace on earth.  If that was true we could look around and say that he’s certainly doing a poor job.

What Jesus actually said was “Do you think I came to bring peace?  No!  A sword!”  He then goes on to describe how families will be divided by belief in him. 

What Jesus came for was to suffer the wrath of God that is meant for us.  So He came to bring us peace with God.  Without Jesus men will suffer the wrath of God.  Jesus warns us to “fear him!”  Look around you today.  How many people in your vicinity do you suppose actually fear the Lord?  Because they don’t there will be no wisdom and no knowledge given to them.

Biggest Blizzard EVER Recorded

 Here in Minnesota we have no snow on the ground and expect to set record warm temps for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Of course some will want to say, "Global warming!!"

But on the other side of the globe we see a headline with the word EVER in it.  Cold and snow are setting records elsewhere and of course some will want to say, "Climate change!!"

China’s Shandong Peninsula is experiencing severe snowstorms, with Yantai and Wendeng setting new historic highs for snow depth amidst a severe cold wave affecting parts of the country.

The Shandong Peninsula in China is currently undergoing a historic blizzard, with seven days of snowfall out of the past ten. Yantai and Wendeng have seen record-breaking snow depths of 52 cm (20.4 inches) and 55 cm (21.6 inches), respectively, marking this as the most significant blizzard ever recorded along China’s coast.

This extreme weather event is part of a broader cold wave sweeping across China. Northern regions are experiencing temperatures near historic lows, impacting transportation and even causing mechanical issues, such as a brake failure on a Beijing commuter train. The southern province of Guangdong, usually experiencing milder winters, witnessed rare snowfall.

Contrary to earlier predictions of a warmer winter due to El Niño, China has seen a week of exceptionally cold weather. In Shanghai, residents observed snow flurries, while Beijing’s temperatures dropped to -15.5 °C (4.1 °F), nearing the historic low of 1952. Forecasters expect these low temperatures to persist, with some areas experiencing temperatures 7 °C (13 °F) below the seasonal average.

With earthquakes increasing, volcanoes erupting, droughts, famines, record cold, record warmth, Bible readers can simply chalk it all up to the fact that THE EARTH IS GROANING under the weight of sin and longing for the day of redemption.  Of course that will be the Millennial Reign of Christ when the lion lays down with the lamb, children can play with poisonous snakes without fear and the combine will follow the planter because food production will soar without weeds and pests weighing down on them.

That DAY will be much, much closer than than the world thinks.

USA Plans Military Attack on Houthis

 It's hard to understand how the Leftists can't see that Islam is not a friend to the West.  And certainly it's not a religion of peace as so many claim.  Iran funds all types of terrorism in Gaza with Hamas, in Lebanon with Hezbollah and in Yemen with the Houthis.

They all seek the destruction of Israel.

The Houthis in Yemen are reportedly upset that their arch enemy, Israel, is killing all the Hamas terrorists in Gaza and they have taken to the high seas and are attacking ships carrying cargo as a show of force to "support their brothers in Gaza."

Today we read that USA and it's allies are getting ready to push back by attacking Houthi bases.

The United States and its allies are considering a military attack on the Houthi rebels in Yemen. This was reported on Wednesday night by the Bloomberg News outlet from sources involved in the preparations.

According to the report, U.S. allies are already preparing plans to attack Houthi bases to stop the Houthis' ability to harm merchant ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Sources in the Pentagon defined the emerging plan as a "heavy response" to the Houthi attacks. However, it was emphasized that the U.S. still prefers to give diplomatic action a chance and has not yet approved the military action.

The discussions about military action emphasized the urgency that the U.S. and its allies see in resolving the threat to free navigation posed by the Houthis, as well as the recognition that the international defense task force announced by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin last night may not be enough to stop the Houthis.

According to Bloomberg, a military attack on bases in Yemen could lead to the Gaza war spreading to other arenas, and could possibly ignite a war with Iran. Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of the opposition to such an action for fear of Houthi retaliation against them.

Wars and rumors of war continue unabated.  A war with Iran is certainly in the making.  Maybe it's going to happen before the rapture or maybe this is just one more push towards Ezekiel 38 that we hope is going to happen AFTER the rapture.

Pope to Bless Same-Sex Marriage

The world will be so pleased with the Pope!  They will now bless gay marriage.  We continue to think that the office of Pope is in contention for fulfilling the role of False Prophet after the rapture.  This move just made the Pope even more palatable for the unsaved world.

The declaration Fiducia Supplicans, issued without warning on December 18 by the Congregation (now Dicastery) for the Doctrine of the Faith’s new prefect, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, presents the results of a project which he has been working on with Pope Francis. 

The text seeks to the door officially for Catholic clergy to provide blessings for same-sex couples, along with the norms outlined by the cardinal and the Pope – something which runs in opposition to constant Catholic teaching and Sacred Scripture.

In paragraph 31 of the text, Fernández writes that:

Within the horizon outlined here is the possibility of blessings of couples in irregular situations and of same-sex couples, the form of which should not find any ritual fixation on the part of ecclesial authorities, in order not to produce confusion with the blessing proper to the sacrament of marriage.

In these cases, a blessing is imparted that not only has ascending value but is also the invocation of a descending blessing from God Himself on those who, recognizing themselves to be destitute and in need of His help, do not claim legitimacy of their own status, but beg that all that is true of good and humanly valid in their lives and relationships be invested, healed and elevated by the presence of the Holy Spirit. These forms of blessing express a supplication to God to grant those aids that come from the impulses of His Spirit – what classical theology calls ‘present graces’ – so that human relationships may mature and grow in fidelity to the Gospel message, free themselves from their imperfections and frailties, and express themselves in the ever-increasing dimension of divine love. {Section 31}

Costco Sells $100 Million in Gold Bars Last Quarter

 Even Costco customers can sense that US Dollars might not be a great place to store wealth with all the money printing going on.

The retail warehousing giant sold more than $100 million of the precious metal in its fiscal first quarter, which ended Nov. 26, Costco Chief Financial Officer Richard Galanti told analysts during the company’s earnings call Thursday.

The 1-ounce bars typically sell out within a few hours after they are loaded to Costco’s website, Galanti said back in September. The gold bars were listed at a price of $2,069.99 an ounce on Friday on the website, higher than the latest spot price of $2,020.58.

Customers are limited to two bars per Costco membership, making it difficult to build a real position in the precious metal.

Members generally seemed satisfied with their purchase though, with a 4.9 star rating on Costco’s website and nearly 800 reviews. Some customers did complain about stiff state sales taxes.

The Rich Will Hide in Caves

 When you read Revelation 6 and then read the article about Zuckerberg building an underground bunker/cave, it’s pretty simple to paste them together.  To me, it’s one more sign that the Great Tribulation is getting very near.  Think about it...in how many generations, since Christ ascended, have the rich people  thought about building bunkers to live in for months or years in order to try and survive some type of global meltdown?  I’d say this generation is the first.

Mark Zuckerberg is planning to survive the end times by building a top-secret Hawaii doomsday-bunker with its own sources of food and energy within a sprawling, $100 million compound in Hawaii, according to a Wired investigation. Zuckerberg has added hundreds of acres to his controversial 1,500-acre ranch in Kauai, Hawaii for years, but now it has been revealed that there are new planning documents for a “5,000-square-foot underground shelter.”

USA Warns North Korea About Using Nuclear Bomb Threat

 I hear from more and more people, aged 16 to 85, who have reached the conclusion that “this can’t go on much longer”.  The drug addictions, depression, gender confusion, printed money, fatherlessness, gay pride, abortion fighting, cities short 300 police and no help coming, the collapse of Christianity in America, Israel at war, world hates Israel, Left convinced Islam is a religion of peace, etc...  Add it all up and we are on a trajectory that can’t be sustained.  We pray that it all ends soon with the rapture.  We can see where this is going and we’d rather be with Jesus at the place He prepared just for us!

The U.S. issued an intense warning to North Korea over nuclear threats Friday. 

In a statement on the second U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) coming together in Washington, D.C., Friday, the White House warned that “[a]ny nuclear attack by North Korea against the United States or its allies is unacceptable and will result in the end of the Kim regime.” The Republic of Korea is the official name of South Korea. 

“The United States reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to provide extended deterrence to the ROK, backed by the full range of U.S. capabilities including nuclear,” the statement said.

The statement comes a few weeks after North Korea said it successfully launched a spy satellite that photographed the White House as well as Naval Station Norfolk and Newport News Dockyard in Virginia.

When the North Korean satellite was launched, the White House said it “strongly” condemned it, adding that the launch violated United Nations Security Council resolutions prohibiting North Korea from using ballistic missile technology.

“The president and his national security team are assessing the situation in close coordination with our allies and partners,” the Biden administration said in a statement. “We urge all countries to condemn this launch and call on [North Korea] to come to the table for serious negotiations.”

North Korea has also warned that any interference with its spy satellite would be a “declaration of war.”

“Any attack on space asset of DPRK will be deemed declaration of war against it,” a statement by a spokesperson for North Korea’s defense ministry read, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency.
