That's a Whole Lotta Guns!

When the Democrats get control they might have a plan to take the guns that they deem are "bad".  This may include any semi-automatic (automatics have been illegal since the 1930's) rifles and/or pistols.  Beto O'rourke  said that if he were elected that might include going door to door and taking any of these bad guns.  He was forced to drop out of the race soon after that.

It turns out that Beto and his clan may have a really tough time rounding up America's guns...cuz there are a whole bunch of them!

Americans own 423M guns & 8.1B rounds of ammunition, latest data shows

Rates of firearm ownership and gun sales are on the rise despite calls for gun control, according to a report released Wednesday by the Firearms Industry Trade Association (FITA).

Using the most recent data from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF’s) Annual Firearms Manufacturing and Export Reports (AFMER) to draw its conclusions, FITA’s report stated there are 422.9 million firearms in civilian possession from 1986 to 2018, along with an estimated 8.1 billion rounds of various firearms calibers and gauges.

The report also noted that in a 25 year period between 1993 and 2017, the violent crime rate has dropped by 48.6 percent while firearms-related accidents have decreased by 68 percent.

“These figures show the industry that America has a strong desire to continue to purchase firearms for lawful purposes,” said Joe Bartozzi, President of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. “The Modern Sporting Rifle continues to be the most popular centerfire rifle sold in America today and is clearly a commonly-owned firearm with more than 17 million in legal private ownership today. The continued popularity of handguns demonstrates a strong interest by Americans to protect themselves and their homes, and to participate in the recreational shooting sports.”

Of course the Antichrist agenda will need to get rid of all the guns in private hands.  Why?  Because he will want to start beheading anyone with whom he disagrees when he starts ruling the world.  It has proven to be much easier to round people up for concentration camps when they have no possible way of defending themselves.

The Scariest Corporate Debt Bubble in U.S. History

We are now being told that debt is no big deal.  A nation can have $22 trillion or $32 trillion of debt and it's all just a big number that means really nothing...so we are told.  And now with negative interest rates we are being told that we can actually MAKE money by borrowing more!

Of course that's not true.  It's just the latest lie we being fed.

If it was all so easy to just borrow money and print more, there would be no poor people in any country!  Why?  Because every government would just borrow and print enough to give people whatever they need! 

In reality, money only retains it's value BECAUSE of it's scarcity.

Why does gold have value?  Because it is scarce.  In fact, if you melted down all the gold ever mined throughout human history it would all fit into an Olympic sized swimming pool   So what would happen to the price of gold if solid gold meteor could somehow fall from the sky and land on planet earth intact and weighing 1 million tons?

Answer;  the price of gold would plummet overnight.  The ounce of gold you have in your gun safe would fall from $1200 to $3 in an instant.

According to this article the corporations of the world have borrowed so much money that when the bubble pops (and it could happen any day) it could send the global financial system into a haywire spiral.

We are facing a corporate debt bomb that is far, far greater than what we faced in 2008, and we are being warned that this "unexploded bomb" will "amplify everything" once the financial system starts melting down.  Thanks to exceedingly low interest rates, over the last decade U.S. corporations have been able to go on the greatest corporate debt binge in history.  

It has been a tremendous "boom", but it has also set the stage for a tremendous "bust".  Large corporations all over the country are now really struggling to deal with their colossal debt burdens, and defaults on the riskiest class of corporate debt are on pace to hit their highest level since 2008.  Everyone can see that a major corporate debt disaster is looming, but nobody seems to know how to stop it.

At this point, companies listed on our stock exchanges have accumulated a total of almost 10 trillion dollars of debt.  That is equivalent to approximately 47 percent of U.S. GDP...

A decade of historically low interest rates has allowed companies to sell record amounts of bonds to investors, sending total U.S. corporate debt to nearly $10 trillion, or a record 47% of the overall economy.

In recent weeks, the Federal Reserve, the International Monetary Fund and major institutional investors such as BlackRock and American Funds all have sounded the alarm about the mounting corporate obligations.

We have never witnessed a corporate debt crisis of this magnitude.

Corporate debt is up a whopping 52 percent since 2008, and this bubble is continually growing.

And actually the 10 trillion dollar figure is the most conservative number out there.  Because if you add in all other forms of corporate debt, the grand total comes to 15.5 trillion dollars.  The following comes from Forbes...

Total corporate debt is actually much higher. Adding the debt of small medium sized enterprises, family businesses, and other business which are not listed in stock exchanges ads another $5.5 trillion. In other words, total US corporate debt is $15.5 trillion, 74% of US GDP.

Needless to say, this mountain of corporate debt is definitely not sustainable, and I have already noted that defaults are rising.  One expert recently explained that all of this debt is "an exploded bomb" and that at some point something will come along to "trigger the explosion"...

"We are sitting on the top of an unexploded bomb, and we really don't know what will trigger the explosion," said Emre Tiftik, a debt specialist at the Institute of International Finance, an industry association.

What if you had worked your butt off for the last 35 year to stash away $5 million dollars and NOW you are ready to retire away to Arizona to read novels and soak in the hot tub until you die?  And what if this whole financial system suddenly falls into the toilet as the "faith and confidence" in the U.S. Government (which is fixing the value of your $5 million) suddenly vanishes?  And you come out of the hot tub to learn that your $5 million now won't buy you a bag of groceries?

Has this exact thing happened numerous other times in human history?

Yep.

Maybe that's why the Creator of the Universe told us to lay up our treasure in heaven so moth, rust, debt bubbles and inflation won't destroy it?

Let's all remember to hold onto our treasure here on earth VERY loosely.  Because it could all vanish in an instant.

New Madrid Fault Revisited

For some of my readers who have been following this blog for a long time, they may remember that I used to blog on the New Madrid fault on a regular basis.  For new readers, the New Madrid fault runs right up the middle of the United States.  200 years ago the fault fractured and caused the largest earthquake in US history.  If that same size earthquake were to happen today in America it could literally bring our nation to an instant standstill.  The damage to infrastructure would be unimaginable.  Even FEMA says on their website that a repeat of that size of quake would be by far the most expensive disaster to ever hit America.

Today we find the headlines of New Madrid back in the prophecy news.

A Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On: Mt Rainier & New Madrid Fault

Mt. Rainier and the New Madrid fault zone are both shaking, and a catastrophic seismic event at either location would cause death and destruction on an unimaginable scale.  

Mt. Rainier in Washington State has been called "one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world", and scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time before a major eruption occurs.  

When that day finally arrives, Mt. Rainier has the potential to bury hundreds of square miles with a colossal tsunami of super-heated mud that is literally several hundred feet deep.  And since Mt. Rainier is very close to major population centers, we are talking about the potential for the worst disaster that we have seen in modern American history. 

But a massive earthquake along the New Madrid fault zone actually has the potential to be far worse.  A very deep scar under the ground that was created when North America was originally formed has made that part of the country very mechanically weak, and many experts believe that a big enough earthquake along that fault zone could literally rip the United States in half.

But before we discuss the New Madrid fault zone, let's talk about what just happened at Mt. Rainier first.

According to the USGS, Mt. Rainier was hit by a magnitude 3.6 earthquake on Sunday afternoon...

And as I mentioned earlier, a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault zone has the potential to create even greater death and destruction.

According to scientists, the New Madrid fault zone sits directly above a very deep geological scar that was created when North America was formed.  According to Wikipedia, this immense scar makes "the Earth's crust in the New Madrid area mechanically weaker than much of the rest of North America".

Today, the New Madrid fault zone is approximately six times bigger than the San Andreas fault zone in California.  It covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi, and the largest earthquakes in the lower 48 states have happened in this region.

In 1811 and 1812, four absolutely massive earthquakes along the New Madrid fault zone opened up very deep fissures in the ground, they caused the Mississippi River to actually run backwards in certain places, and they were reportedly felt as far away as Washington D.C. and Boston.

Fortunately, very few people populated the region in those days, but if such a quake happened today the death and destruction would be unimaginable.  The following description of one of the quakes that happened in 1811 comes from Smithsonian.com, and for a moment I would like for you to imagine what would happen if such an earthquake happened in our time...

The Midwest was sparsely populated, and deaths were few. But 8-year-old Godfrey Lesieur saw the ground "rolling in waves." Michael Braunm observed the river suddenly rise up "like a great loaf of bread to the height of many feet." Sections of riverbed below the Mississippi rose so high that part of the river ran backward. Thousands of fissures ripped open fields, and geysers burst from the earth, spewing sand, water, mud and coal high into the air.

Jesus told us that earthquakes in various places would be one of the signs that he was going to come back to earth.

We modern humans like to believe that we are now in total control of our own destiny.  We believe there is NOTHING we can't do if we all put our collective minds together!  We can even change the weather and thicken the polar ice to stop global warming!!….or so we falsely believe.

In reality we are living on a molten ball that is spinning around at 1000 mph and hurtling through space at thousands of miles per hour in our annual trip around the sun.  We are in control of nothing.

It will all end when Jesus, the Creator of it all, says so.

Israel Ranked 8th Most Powerful Nation on Earth

Have you read Ezekiel 37 lately?  Can there be any doubt that God has regathered His people, the Jews, from all the nations of the earth and put them back in the land that he promised their forefathers?  Can there be any doubt that he has made them an exceedingly powerful nation?

In a recent ranking by ‘The Spectator Index’, Israel is ranked as the 8th most powerful country in the world. Additionally, the Jewish state was ranked 29th on the world’s best countries list by a report that was conducted earlier in 2019. As for their power ranking, the countries that outrank Israel, according to this Survey, are the US, Russia, China, Germany, the UK, France, Japan-in this exact order. Following Israel is Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The power ranking is determined based on five key elements-military strength, economic impact, political impact, a nation’s leader, and worldwide alliances. Regarding Israel, a report released earlier in 2019 stated, “For its relatively small size, the country has played a large role in global affairs. The country has a strong economy, landmarks of significance to several religions, and strained relationships with many of its Arab neighbors.”

Of course, the primary reason for “strained” relationships with countries in the region, comes from the hostility of these other nations who would prefer that the Jewish state simply didn’t exist. As for many religions claiming significant landmarks, the land of Israel only supports the existence of one Being-the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the God of Israel.

On a 1-10 scale, Israel’s military scored a 9.9. As for their alliances around the world, a 6.5. The Jewish state’s political influence scored a 7.6.

And to think this has all been done in the last 70 years!  And its been done with only about 7 million people!

The stage has certainly been set for the fulfillment of the numerous unfulfilled prophecies that evolve around the Jewish state.

UN Chief Says Humanity's "War Against Nature" Must Stop

It does make perfect sense to the leftist, liberal and godless folk out there.  In their minds Mother Nature spawned life billions of years ago on planet earth and has been evolving millions of life species here ever since.  But as soon as man evolved from monkeys, Mother Nature has been having a serious problem.  She has no problem with actual monkeys since they don't mistreat her, but the evolved monkeys called HUMANS have really started to make a huge mess.  They drink water from plastic bottles, they drive cars burning fossil fuels billions of miles, they bag their groceries in plastic, they fertilize their farm fields and let it run into the streams, they raise cows on huge farms that fart all day long depleting the ozone, etc...

Now the liberal, godless United Nations is warning all the humans that this war against nature must stop!

The devastating impact of global warming that threatens humanity is a pushback from Nature under assault, UN chief Antonio Guterres warned Sunday ahead of a key climate conference.

"For many decades the human species has been at war with the planet, and now the planet is fighting back," he said, decrying the "utterly inadequate" efforts of the world's major economies to curb carbon pollution.

"We must stop our war against nature, and science tells us we can do it."

Guterres flagged a UN report to be released in a few days confirming the last five years are the warmest on record, with 2019 likely to be the second hottest ever.

"Climate-related disasters are becoming more frequent, more deadly, more destructive," he said on the eve of the 196-nation COP25 climate change talks in Madrid.

Every year, air pollution associated with climate change kills seven million people, he noted, adding that human health and food security are at risk.

The UN chief's comments were clearly aimed at the handful of countries responsible for more than half of global greenhouse gas emissions, though he did not call them out by name.

President Donald Trump has set in motion the process that would see the United States withdraw from the Paris deal by the end of the year, and other major emitters -- China, India, Russia and Brazil -- have given scant indication that they will deepen their commitments.

Guterres singled out the European Union as playing a constructive role, saying the 28-nation bloc could help lead the way towards a net-zero global economy by 2050.

The Paris Agreement calls for capping global warming at under two degrees Celsius, and 1.5C if feasible.

But current national pledges -- if carried out -- would see global temperatures rise by at least 3C, a recipe for human misery, according to scientists.

Of course Bible readers see things much differently.  We believe that God created humans in His image.  We also believe that "as long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."  God said it so we believe it! 

We know that earthquakes might increase, along with flood, famine, drought, pestilence, ice melting, strange tornadoes in Arizona and a whole host of other strange weather phenomenon may be taking place.  But mankind is not going to vacate planet earth until God says so.  We are told to care for the earth but not worship the earth.

Can you see how a large cheer is going to ring out on planet earth once all the Bible believers who have accepted Christ as the ONLY way of salvation suddenly vanish?  There will be no one left to stop the quest to have a single government to rule on these issues and to stop the scourge of humans on earth once and for all!
