Lake Mead Water Valves Exposed for First Time EVER

 For years we have wondered about Las Vegas and its proud nickname Sin City.  We aren’t positive how God will judge America and where it will start.  But it would be logical to tear down the places that most closely resemble Sodom and then continue to destroy the places most devoid of the Holy Spirit. Las Vegas would cease to exist if toilets no longer flushed.  It would sit as a ghost town and millions would have to relocate.  “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”, would not be uttered anymore.

The plunging water level of the lake exposed one of the original intake valves of the reservoir for the first time, officials say. 

Valves have been in use since 1971, but can no longer pump water, according to the Nevada Southern Water Authority, which manages the water resources of 2.2 million people in southern Nevada, including Las Vegas.

Extreme droughts have already occurred this year across the west, and the summer heat has not yet arrived. Drought monitors in the United States reported Thursday that the drought situation in the southwest had worsened over the past week. Extreme and exceptional droughts, the two worst designations, have expanded to New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. These are all states that are part of the Colorado River basin. 

Droughts in New Mexico have been steadily intensifying since the beginning of the year, with extreme or exceptional droughts accounting for 68% of the state.

Further west, Southern California water authorities are demanding that residents and businesses limit outdoor watering to one day a week after a disappointing winter with little rain or snow. It is the first time they have implemented such strict rules.

“This is a crisis. It’s unprecedented,” said Adel Hagekaril, general manager of the Metropolitan Water District in Southern California. “I’ve never done this before, and I’ve never seen this situation before. Sufficient water to meet the normal needs of the 6 million people living in the subordinate areas of the state water project. there is not.”

A photo taken on Monday at Lake Mead shows that the agency’s three intake valves are tall and dry above the waterline.

“When the lake reaches 1060 (1 foot above sea level), that’s when you can see the top of the number one intake,” said Bronson Mack, official outreach officer for the Southern Nevada Waterworks Authority. rice field.

Lake Mead reached 1,060 feet above sea level on April 4, and stood at 1055 feet as of Wednesday, he said.

As a result, the Water Department has begun operating a new low lake pumping station for the first time. This is a valve deeper at the bottom of Lake Mead. Construction began in 2015 and completed in 2020, the station will be able to supply water at much lower levels of the lake and will be built to protect the water resources of the region in light of the worsening drought. Amazon Gets Green Light to Build Tower of Babel Headquarters

 That old nemesis, Nimrod!  He was the one who started all pagan worship.  Some rumors even say he could have had some nephilim blood in him.  He built the Tower of Babel in an attempt to show people that he could be equal with God but also maybe he figured if God ever flooded the world again HE would have an escape plan!

Regardless, we could label him FULL ON REBELLION.

Today we read the Amazon, a company that didn't exist 15 years ago, has now almost surpassed Walmart to take the place on largest US company, is going to build the Tower of Babel as it's headquarters.

Amazon's plans to build a helix-shaped "Tower of Babel" as the centerpiece for its forthcoming second headquarters in northern Virginia has been given the green light by the Arlington County Board.

It was in February 2021 that the online retail giant announced plans for its spectacular, 350-foot tower to be the featured item at its new offices that will house more than 25,000 workers once completed.

The helix stands out because of its possible resemblance to the Old Testament's "Tower of Babel"– an attempt by man to reach the heavens before mankind's languages were confused by God in the 11th chapter of Genesis.

Jeff Bezos, who owns Amazon and the nearby Washington Post, may have a fancy for the biblical character of Nimrod, "a mighty hunter" (Genesis 10:9).

"Amazon has said it hopes to complete the project in 2025.

"Because skyscrapers are banned in the District of Columbia, and the Amazon buildings will be among the tallest in Arlington County, from some vantage points the helix will dominate the region's skyline like no building other than the Washington Monument."

A Few Empty Shelves at Grocery Stores Now Could Be Dozens of Empty Shelves Later

 A guy at church told me that Perkins in Buffalo, MN had no eggs on Sunday morning.  A client on the phone just tole me that Olive Garden ran out of noodles last week.  The grocery store has empty shelves of some products it just can't get.

 It could get a whole lot worse as the perfect storm continues to build.

What we have witnessed so far is just the beginning of the story.  The global response to the COVID pandemic during 2020 and 2021 created the most epic supply chain crisis in modern times, and now "black swan events" such as the war in Ukraine and the bird flu pandemic are making that supply chain crisis even worse.  Unfortunately, more global difficulties are coming.  

There will be more war, there will be more pestilences, there will be more natural disasters, and even the United Nations is admitting that we are heading into the worst global food crisis since World War II.  So if you think that global supply chain problems are severe now, just wait until you see what is coming next.

If you go into most major retailers today, you will notice that stock levels are lower than usual and there are some empty shelves.

But most items are still available most of the time, and that is good news.

Of course there are certain product categories that have been experiencing chronic shortages for an extended period of time.  For example, supplies of canned pet food have been extremely tight for months on end...

The next time you go to the pet store don't be surprised to see some empty shelves.

Many pet stores are facing a shortage on canned pet food.

Right now, there just aren't enough cheap sources of chicken and turkey due to the bird flu pandemic, there is an ongoing shortage of aluminum, and there is a shortage of factory workers.

So the canned pet food shortage is not likely to be fixed any time soon.

Another shortage that is going to affect much of the country as we head into the summer months is the growing chlorine shortage.

I was not even aware of this shortage until a reader alerted me.  Apparently this shortage was originally caused by the destruction of a manufacturing facility in Louisiana by Hurricane Laura...

While the pandemic takes its share of the blame, the even larger reason for the current chlorine shortage is that a major chlorine manufacturing plant in Louisiana was destroyed by Hurricane Laura in late 2020. A fire on the premises leveled the facilities and took nearly 40% of the country's chlorine tablet supply with it.

The manufacturing plant is being rebuilt and is currently under construction; it was due to reopen by mid-to-late 2022, but those plans could be pushed back due to the ongoing construction material shortages.

I find it ironic that the nationwide chlorine shortage could be extended thanks to the nationwide construction material shortage.

Anyone that is trying to build a home knows how painful the construction material shortage has become, and I anticipate that it will only become more severe in 2023 and beyond.

Meanwhile, the nationwide baby formula shortage just continues to get even worse...

Janis Burnson is one of many parents having to work around a national baby formula shortage.

"Go around in our area, St. George, any stores I can, can't find anything around here. I have friends in northern Utah, they're having to send me stuff, so I'm having to pay even more," she says.

One local reporter in southern Utah decided to check this out for herself, and when she visited local stores she discovered "bare shelves where baby formula should be."

What a nightmare.

But at least we can be glad that things are not as bad here as they are in Europe.

We simply don't know what it could mean for us personally when Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah."  What we will actually see and experience before the trumpet finally blows??  I continue to believe that things will continue pretty much as "normal" with people eating and drinking, marrying and giving their daughters in marriage up until the time the trumpet blows.

I'll hang on that blessed hope because Jesus said so.

Prisons Must Facilitate Transgender Surgeries

The delusional insanity continues.  Today we read that a federal judge just ruled that a man in prison who thinks he’s a woman (or maybe he’s just bored?) must be given surgery to remove his male parts AND the taxpayers must pay for it.  

This follows the news out of New Jersey last week that a transgender man was housed in women’s prison and impregnated 2 prisoners.

 A federal judge ruled on Monday that a federal prisoner is entitled to surgical procedures that will alter his body in order to accommodate his “transgender” identity.

As reported by USA Today, Judge Nancy Rosenstengel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois ordered the United States Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to provide a surgeon who will perform the operation for a prisoner going by the name of Christina Iglesias, a man who believes that he is a woman. The decision ended a case that has lasted for three years.

Under the conditions of Rosenstengel’s ruling, BOP must now provide a timeline for when Iglesias’ surgery will take place, including details about their vetting process for the surgeon who will perform the operation, and must submit weekly reports to the court constantly updating the judge on the matter. The judge also ordered the operation to be carried out before Iglesias’ prison sentence ends in December.

“I am hopeful that I will finally get the care I need to live my life fully as the woman I am,” Iglesias said. “BOP has denied me gender-affirming surgery for years – and keeps raising new excuses and putting new obstacles in my way. I am grateful that the court recognized the urgency of my case and ordered BOP to act.”

This ruling would mark the first time in history that a federal prisoner has been ordered to receive gender-altering surgery.

Build the Temple

 Of course, whenever we see news and headlines talking about the Jew building the 3rd Temple it HAS to be blogworthy.

One would have hoped that yesterday’s unique convergence of Passover, Easter and Ramadan would have led to a wonderful day of peace and brotherhood in the spiritual capital city of Jerusalem. Alas, any dream of religious harmony on a day holy to all three great Abrahamic faiths, was shattered by Muslim rioters who turned the Temple Mount into a bloody battlefield hurling stones at Jewish worshippers and Israeli vehicles.

Palestinian terrorists have been fanning the flames of religious violence in recent weeks, as Israelis have been preparing for the Passover holiday, observed this week. On Thursday evening, April 8, a Palestinian terrorist attacked Tel Aviv’s busy Dizengoff Square where mainly secular Israeli young people were crowded at bars and cafes, tragically murdering three Jews in their 20s. 

Shortly after the deadly massacre, Hamas explained their motive and declared, “The continuing terrorism of the occupation and its crimes, attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and to perform sacrifices in the Al-Aqsa Mosque to build its so-called ‘Temple’ during what they call ‘Passover’ — against it stands blood and bullets.”Through their statement, Hamas exposed their greatest fear: that Israel will start to build the Temple.

For thousands of years, Jews have been praying for a return to the Land of Israel. Over the last century, we have miraculously been restored to our homeland from the four corners of the earth, but are still awaiting the proper time to build the Temple. 

Judaism is incomplete without the Temple, and Passover is a prime example, as Deuteronomy makes clear:

“You are not permitted to slaughter the Passover sacrifice in any of the settlements that Hashem your God is giving you; but at the place where Hashem your God will choose to establish His name, there alone shall you slaughter the Pesach sacrifice, in the evening, at sundown, the time of day when you departed from Egypt.” (Deuteronomy 16:5,6)

Hamas is terrified that after close to 75 years of statehood, Israel will begin turning its attention to the place where God chose to establish His name. In fact, each year, more and more Israelis take the dangerous risk of ascending the holy mountain under the hostile guards of Jordanian officials. 

Palestinian terrorists are getting scared as Jews are getting serious about restoring our holy of holies, the site we pray towards every day, and the building we beseech God for repeatedly throughout our liturgy.

On a national level, the rebuilding of the Temple would be a great humiliation to Palestinian terror groups, but on a religious level, the construction of Judaism’s Third Temple would in no way pose a threat to Islam, whose main religious holy sites are in Mecca and Medina.

Responsible Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders should use this recent wave of Islamic violence to immediately begin discussing practical and peaceful steps for the rebuilding of the Temple on the Temple Mount. It could be done without damaging or disrespecting the Dome of the Rock or Al Aqsa, as part of a future peace plan between Israel and her Arab neighbors to end the plague of Islamic terror once and for all.

Come on folks!  Temple talk is increasing!  The Jews are demanding their Temple!  It WILL BE HERE for the Antichrist to ascend into and declare himself as God!  And most likely, before this happens, we will have all been changed into our new bodies capable of going to where Christ calls us to be.  Maranatha!

Zelenskyy Makes Some Religious Statements, "Christ is Risen!"

 We will repeat it again and again that we believe that the Antichrist won't be revealed until after the rapture of the church.  We believe that the "restrainer" mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians is the Holy Spirit that indwells in the hearts of all Christ followers.  When Jesus comes for his bride the restrainer will be removed and give full rise to the plans of Satan.  He will empower the Antichrist who will sign a 7 year peace agreement with Israel.  This is start the timer on the final 7 years.

So with that being said, if we believe that the rapture is near then it's very possible that the "man of perdition" is already walking on planet earth.  So it's kind of interesting to wonder who might end up playing the part?

Some think the Emmanuel Macron is a candidate because he is handsome, just won re-election, is currently the president of the EU and one of the most powerful men in Europe.  He also rides a jetski that has a registration number that ends in 666. 😏

But about a month ago another dude came into our news cycle.  He is now the hero of Ukraine and become a household name all around the world.

Ukraine’s embattled president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, sent out a video Easter message from the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv to his people.

Despite being born a Jew, Zelensky ended his religion-laden speech with the emphatic declaration, “Christ is risen.”

The cathedral, built in the 11th century, is threatened with destruction by the Russian invasion. Zelensky cited the structure’s history of withstanding the onslaught of previous Russian armies, Asian hordes, and the Nazi occupation as a basis for his country’s ability to stand up against the current Russian invasion. 

Zelensky then described the Easter holiday in nationalist terms:

“Today, we all believe in a new victory for Ukraine,” Zelensky said. “And we are all convinced that we will not be destroyed by any horde or evil. We are all enduring dark times. And on this bright day,  most of us are not in bright clothes. But we are fighting for a bright idea. On the bright side. And the truth, people, the Lord, and the Heavenly light are on our side.”

It is odd for Zelensky, who was born Jewish and whose great-grandparents died in World War II, to invoke a deity from inside a church. 

It should be noted that despite his family’s Jewish history, Zelensky has been elusive about the details of his family’s Holocaust history, referring instead to his family being wiped out in “the war.” In his address to the Knesset, he rewrote history, claiming that Ukrainians helped Jews during the Holocaust. This is counterfactual as most Ukrainians collaborated with the Nazi occupation from its outset. Over one million Ukrainian Jews were murdered in the Holocaust. Zelensky also compared the Russian invasion to the Holocaust, referring to it as “the final solution.”

Zelensky continued his Easter speech while standing under an image of Mary, the Jewish mother of Jesus, referred to in Ukrainian Orthodoxy as Oranta.

“The power of the patron saint of the human race, Oranta. She is above me. She is above us all. The unshakable pillar of the Church of Christ, the unbreakable will of the main stronghold, Kyiv, the unbreakable wall of the state.”

It should be noted that Jews avoid using the term ‘Christ’ when referring to Jesus as it is an explicit acknowledgment of Jesus as the messiah. 

“As long as there is Oranta, there is Sophia,” Zelensky said. “And Kyiv stands with her, and the whole of Ukraine stands with them.”

The church was not named after a specific figure or saint but was dedicated to the “Holy Wisdom,” as was the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

Zelensky then quoted Psalms 46:6.

“Above the image of the Oranta are the words from the Psalms: God dwells in that city. It cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it.”

The verse in Psalms was, of course, referring to Jerusalem and not Kyiv, as Zelensky stated.

“Oranta in Latin means one who prays’,” Zelensky continued. “We have all been praying for the last two months. And in the Resurrection of Christ, which symbolizes the great victory of life over death, each of us asks the Lord for one thing. And speaks the same words to heaven. The words of a great and united prayer.”

Zelensky then made an impassioned plea to save all of his people, after which he waxed religious.

“Great and Only God! Save our Ukraine!” Zelensky invoke.“Protect those who protect us! Heaven, protect those who defend the native land. Strengthen the will of those who protect us from captivity. Save those who save Ukraine. Save all Ukrainians! We did not attack anyone, so give us protection. We have never destroyed other nations, so do not let anyone destroy us. We did not seize other people’s lands, so do not let anyone seize ours.”

Many Jews would dispute this claim as Ukraine has a history of centuries of pogroms and anti-Semitism.

“We believe, God, that in your judgment you will not forget them all. All those who have forgotten all your commandments…” he continued. “Let them and all of us hear the fireworks of victory.”

A Mark on Your Forehead?

16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

What vision do you suppose John was seeing when he wrote down those words?  With today’s technology we all know that people are putting chips in their hands so they can pass them over the chip reader at the grocery store and buy food.

But what about the forehead?  What was he seeing?  

Yesterday we went to see my mom in a memory care facility to wish her a happy 83rd birthday. When we walked in the front door there was a new machine hanging on the wall.  Before you could come in you had to put your forehead in front of the scanner and with a loud BEEP it would display your temperature.  I said to the nurse there, “Wow!  That’s quite a beep!”  She responded, “You should hear the noise it makes when it detects that someone has a fever!”

I’m not making any predictions, just observations.  It was interesting that our foreheads were required for entry.

Russia Warns that "The Risks of Nukes is Now Considerable"

 The escalation continues in Ukraine.  And now it's being reported that the war has widened into the country of Moldova.  If the world continues to arm Russia's enemies and they start to back Russia into a corner, could a nuke strike out like a cornered raccoon?  Do we really believe that Putin will march back to Russia with his tail between his legs and say, "Hey, so sorry everyone!  I'll behave better going forward."  Probably not.  But can the world really afford NOT to try and stop a tyrant before he ends up wrecking other countries?

Russia’s foreign minister has warned Western powers not to underestimate the “real” risk of nuclear conflict if they continue to funnel weapons to Ukraine in what he says is an undeclared proxy war.

Within hours of his remarks, explosions were heard inside the sovereign borders of Moldova. Ukrainian officials believe Russia is launching “false flag” operations in the pro-Russian rebel-controlled enclave of Transnistria in order to justify widening their imperial assault into a second nation.

The warning from Sergei Lavrov, in a state TV interview late on Monday night, represents a dramatic rhetorical escalation from the Kremlin in the face of an increasingly assertive international response to the Ukraine crisis.

His comments drew a sharp reply from Lavrov's counterpart in Kyiv, Dmytro Kuleba, who said Russia had lost its “last hope to to scare the world off supporting Ukraine... This only means Moscow senses defeat in Ukraine.”

Lavrov, the stony-faced veteran of Russian diplomacy, was asked in the interview about the risks of the Ukraine crisis spiralling into nuclear conflict as so nearly happened with the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

“The risks now are considerable,” he said. “I would not want to elevate those risks artificially. Many would like that. The danger is serious, real. And we must not underestimate it,” Lavrov said.

“NATO, in essence, is engaged in a war with Russia through a proxy and is arming that proxy. War means war.”

Lavrov was speaking the day after U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken met face to face in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelensky, promising yet more military aid.

After initial hesitation from the Biden administration, reluctant to send weapons onto the battlefields of Ukraine only for them to end up in Russia’s hands, America is now all-in on its support for Kyiv, hopeful that victory for Ukraine could neutralize the Russian conventional military threat for a generation.

Elon Musk Buys Twitter!

 It's just hitting the news right now!  This is a big day for free speech.  As you know the folks who have been running Twitter would block people who said things that they didn't like.  For instance if you said, "Transgenders are just confused people who need help!", that could very well get you blocked from Twitter.

Donald Trump is blocked from Twitter.  He had too many mean tweets so they shut him down.

As some have pointed out the Iranian Revolutionary Guard isn't blocked.  Communist China isn't blocked.  The Taliban isn't blocked...but the President of the United States is blocked!

Hopefully Elon will unblock him soon and allow free speech for all.

I saw Elon say this quote, "Free speech is when someone you don't like is allowed to say something you don't like."

This is fun news because most likely the liberal Left is going to have a meltdown when people they don't like say things they don't like.

Drought, Drought, Too Wet

 There will be famines.  

We have blogged on this a ton but the news and articles just keep coming so we continue to post the news of the day.

Here in Minnesota, it's currently cloudy and 32 degrees on April 25.  It's been unusually cold and unusually wet in our area.  I work with a local farmer in the spring and fall and last year we had most of the corn put in by now and working on beans.  But this year they haven't even been in the fields to do tillage because it's too wet and cold.

So it's either too dry in some places to have any crops or maybe too wet and cold to plant any crops.  Either way it's not going to be good for the already skyrocketing prices of grain which impacts virtually everything we eat.

March 7 was a mild Monday on Mark Bennett’s cattle ranch in southern Baker County,(Oregon) and he expected to see some of the rapidly melting snow turn dry channels into temporary streams.

It didn’t happen.

When he and his wife, Patti, walked out to one of their hayfields they hoped that the 4-inch-high stubble they left last fall to provide habitat for sage grouse would also have kept the soil moist by protecting it from sunlight and the desiccating winter winds.

Again they were disappointed.

What they found, Mark Bennett said, was soil better described as dust than as mud.

“The ground is so dry it just absorbs every bit” of the melting snow, he said.

No Bull Beef owner Bryan Horadam said, “My product is grass-fed, grass finished cows and without the rain, I don't have as much grass.” 

Horadam relies on cutting his own hay during the winter and dry summertime for times like these where there's a lack of rain. “That's where the hay comes in and that's the importance of the rainfall on the pastures, for them to have the grass. And also for my hay to grow, so I can cut the grass to produce the hay and round bales.”

Business owners are finding it difficult to work around the stubborn weather. Woody Riley with Riley Family Farm is all too familiar with this.

“It pushes you up against the wall with vegetables because, come July, it’s too hot and everything dies,” Riley said. They are doing what they can, though. “That's been the biggest thing, is keeping the ground mulched and conserving the water we do have in the soil."

I don’t think that people realize how severe this crisis will eventually become.  Never before in modern history have we seen global food production being hit by so many major problems all at once.  It truly is a “perfect storm”, and hundreds of millions of people are going to deeply suffer as a result.  I would very much encourage you to share this article with as many people as you can, because everyone needs this information.  As I discussed yesterday, things may be somewhat bad right now, but conditions will eventually get much worse as the months roll along.

My wife and I pray every morning that we could have discernment, like the sons of Issachar, who saw what was happening and knew what to do.  Of course, all followers know we are supposed to be involved in the Great Commission and working extra hard to scatter seeds and be part of snatching them from the fire while there is still daylight...BUT what else?  Are we supposed to be stocking freezers, cupboards, wood piles, topping off propane tanks in case the Lord leaves us here longer than we had hoped?  Or maybe we are supposed to stock up on things because the Lord is going to use our supplies that we left behind at the rapture to bless those folks who are left behind?

I don't have the exact answers but I am getting more and more certain that "back to normal" is not going to happen.  Also feeling more and more certain that the next 12 months could be monumental for human history.

Now Is The Time!

Yesterday, our beloved Pastor Max gave his last sermon at our church.  As he began his last sermon he said that he had hoped the Lord would have returned before this day had come so as to avoid this sad day.  Later that day another man in his 40’s said to me, “Man, I sure hope Jesus is coming soon!”  Even some high school kids with their whole lives ahead of them have told me they are ready for the Lord to blow the trumpet.  It’s like those with ears to hear and eyes to see are aware that the world has entered its last days.  The schemes of men who don’t know Jesus are playing out in real time right before our eyes.  And for believers, I’m hearing more and more folks report to me that “the things of this world are growing strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”  I posted this article below in its entirety.  If ever there was a time to listen and watch for Jesus to return to summon His bride into the clouds, it’s now. Come Lord Jesus!

If there ever was a time in human history to be watching for Jesus’ appearing, it’s now!

I have read Paul’s description of “perilous times” in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 numerous times. I have written Bible studies on this passage along with many blog posts. But my past examination of this text did not adequately prepare me for the wickedness and deception that’s rampant in our world today.

Compared to what I once thought, the day in which we live is perilous times on steroids.

Apart from an expectation that’s firmly fixed on Jesus and His imminent appearing, I could not cope with all that I see. My “blessed hope” of seeing “the appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” has never been more precious to me than it is now (Titus 2:13). The expectation of Jesus’ appearing is the anchor of my soul during these chaotic times.

Let’s first look at why we need such an eternal perspective before we focus on the necessity of placing all our hope on Jesus.

Food Shortages

Even before the war in Ukraine, many farmers in the U.S. voiced concern over the rapidly rising cost of fertilizer, with some wondering if they could even plant crops this year. Now with this conflict showing no signs of ending, this crisis is much, much greater for American farmers as well as for the world.

Ukraine is a world leader in barley exports, and many refer to the nation as the “breadbasket of Europe” because of its wheat exports. The blue and gold flag of Ukraine depicts the blue sky above with the golden wheat harvest below.

Together, Ukraine and Russia account for thirty percent of all wheat exports in the world.

Revelation 6:1-8 describes the first four seals that the Lord opens after we are in heaven. The third horse of the apocalypse is black, which symbolizes the deadly famine that will overspread the world during the beginning of the Tribulation. In verse 6, we read about the critical shortages of two crops in particular:

“And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!'”

Is it a coincidence that the shortages mentioned in the above verse are the very crops that Ukraine exports to other nations but will not be able to do so this year? I don’t think so.

The predictions of devastating food shortages for later in 2022 are far too numerous and varied for us to ignore. In fact, they have already begun in some places.

Violent riots are happening in Peru because of the high prices and growing shortages of food. In Germany, the leaders of grocery chains say that food prices will soon rise thirty to fifty percent. In Argentina, the high cost and limited supply of fuel may cause a strike with one of the largest transporters of grain in the country. Walgreens is already limiting the purchase of baby formula in the U.S. due to shortages.

The cost of our groceries will continue to rise throughout all of 2022, and that will cause severe problems in many nations, especially for the poor and those on fixed incomes.

Deception

In 2 Thessalonians 2:11, the Apostle Paul writes about a future “strong delusion” that will lead multitudes astray during the tribulation. While I believe this prophecy awaits a future fulfillment, we see evidence of great deception everywhere we look. This strong delusion has already affected multitudes of people throughout the world, especially in America.

Far too many Christians believe the lies that life will return to normal or that the church will rise up and somehow stop the onslaught of evil in our world. Yes, there are pockets of revival, and I praise the Lord for what I hear. However, Scripture tells us that the Luciferian globalists will succeed in setting up their world government over which the antichrist will rule for a brief time before the Lord destroys both him and his kingdom. The multitude of converging prophetic signs tells us that we live in the last days of human history as we know it.

The mainstream media keeps people in the dark regarding the true agenda of the elite powerbrokers in our world. Through their allies in the mainstream media, they feed people with an endless course of lies that keep them from recognizing the reality of a world headed for the world government that the Bible describes as the beast in Revelation 13.

Sadly, many “mainstream media” Christians do not recognize the signs of the end of the age nor the dangers inherent in a world where the spirit of the antichrist gains more control each and every day.

Global Monetary System

Evidence regarding the nearness of this New World Order emerged at the World Government Summit held in late March 2022.

At this summit of global leaders, Pippa Malmgren, a prominent globalist and elitist, said this:

“We are on the brink of a dramatic change where we are about to, and I’ll say this boldly, we are about to abandon the traditional system of money and accounting and introduce a new one. And the new one, the new accounting, is what we call blockchain…. It means digital; it means having an almost perfect record of every single transaction that happens in the economy, which will give us far greater clarity over what’s going on.” [i]

Ms. Malmgren also believes that many nations, including the U.S., will have a digitized monetary system in place this year, not a decade from now, but by the end of 2022! Once this happens, these elite globalists will merge the electronic currencies of the various nations into one worldwide digitized currency, which will further clear the path to the Marxist New World Order envisioned by the globalists!

This worldwide monetary system will provide the coming antichrist with an essential tool needed to control the buying and selling of all people. For the first time since John penned the words to Revelation 13, the technology exists for the mark of the beast, and soon a cashless system of exchange will further pave the way to it.

I do not believe these globalists will allow the midterm elections in America to disrupt the progress they have made in prepping the U.S. to accept the New World Order. I don’t know how they will do it, just that they cannot allow it to impede their plans.

Naomi Wolf, a political consultant for the campaigns of President Clinton and candidate Al Gore, stated her belief on Fox News that the left will not allow for a “resounding defeat to the Biden administration” in the midterms this fall. Wolf told Tucker Carlson that they are going to create an “emergency,” and “if that emergency keeps us all at home, all the better.” [ii]

Wickedness

In a recent blog post, I reported the high number of abortions that take place in the world each year. Infanticide is also a widespread evil that’s become all too common in the U.S. A proposed law in California would make infanticide legal for a week after birth.

The demonic practices of abortion and infanticide alone verify the prophetic warning of Psalm 75:8, but there’s so much more going on with sex trafficking, the promotion of transgenderism, and the LBGTQ agenda to grade school children. It’s institutionalized child abuse! It’s demonic!

The Florida legislature needed to pass a law to keep teachers from promoting the LBGTQ lifestyle to children in kindergarten through third grade. One kindergarten teacher complained because the law meant he could no longer promote his gay lifestyle to his class.

President Joe Biden devoted a day, March 31, 2022, to promote transgenderism; he believes that children as young as seven should be able to choose their gender. That is evil by any other name.

Disney openly admitted that they not only promote the LBGTQ agenda to young children but that they also plan to increase such grooming of children for such things.

All these things would have qualified for the Twilight Zone decades ago! Now they are mainstream! How close must we in America be to God’s judgment?!!

Now is the Time

For those outside of Christ, now is the time to look to Jesus as your Savior, the One who bore the punishment for your sins on the cross. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Just hours before His sacrificial death, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

I love the simplicity of the Apostle John’s words in 1 John 5:11-12: “And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Knowing Jesus as your Savior equals eternal life.

If you continue to reject Christ’s offer of forgiveness and eternal life, you will likely face a horrifying future during the rapidly approaching Tribulation period. And apart from Christ, you will endure an even worse fate in hell.

Please do not delay; call upon Jesus’ name now! Romans 10:13 says, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

For those of us securely in the arms of our loving Savior, now is the time to recognize that we may be with Jesus in paradise in the very near future. Now is the time to hold our dreams and aspirations loosely in our hands and view life with a perspective that values eternal realities over the temporal things of this life (Romans 8:18).

Now is the time for all of us to turn our eyes upon Jesus. He alone is our hope amid a world headed for destruction. All other hopes will result in disappointment; only an eager expectation fixed on Jesus’ imminent appearing will see us through the traumatic times that may lie ahead for us before Jesus appears to take us home.

Philippians 3:20-21 says this about our imminent expectation of the event that we today refer to as the “Rapture.”

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”

Our joyous, exciting, and forever adventure starts with Jesus and His appearing. This is the hope we must hold dear as the Tribulation period rapidly approaches.
