Scientists Say Earth Systems are "Close to Collapse"

 For those of us who recognize there is a Creator who put all of what we can see into order and created life on earth, we also logically conclude that He will keep it in order until He decides otherwise.

For those who believe that the world spinning perfectly around the sun along with perfect conditions for life to exist on earth was just a random coincidence spit out by a random universe, they are terrified by what they are seeing.

Scientists have discerned certain systems that, if they collapse, would spell doom for humanity’s future on Earth.

A new study analyzes the possibility of such a collapse by creating models surrounding four of these pillars: the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, the Greenland Ice Sheet, and Amazon Rainforest, and the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC).

The study finds that such a collapse is concerningly likely under current climate policies, and that probability reportedly increases dramatically every tenth of a degree Celsius we blow past our 1.5-degree goal.

If our exploration of the cosmos has taught us one thing, it’s that creating life isn’t easy. First, you need the right chemical conditions (and potentially some cloud-to-ground volcanic lightning) to get things going. But to create complex, intelligent organisms, you need a planet whose climate is relatively stable—allowing for a particularly big-brained species to grow into cultures, then into countries, and then (hopefully) into a planet-wide, peace-loving collective a la Star Trek.

Four of those pillars of stability are the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, the Greenland Ice Sheet, and Amazon Rainforest, and the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC)—the ocean current system that keeps Europe several degrees warmer than it otherwise would be. A new study published earlier this month in the journal Nature focused on these elements, and discerned the probabilities of their collapse and the impact on the future habitability of the planet. The results were... not good.

The paper reads:

“Under current emission trajectories, temporarily overshooting the Paris global warming limit of 1.5 °C is a distinct possibility. Permanently exceeding this limit would substantially increase the probability of triggering climate tipping elements. Achieving and maintaining at least net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2100 is paramount to minimize tipping risk in the long term.”

The study creates a new set of models that treats each of these systems like the pillars they are—that is, if one falls, the rest soon follow suit due to the interconnected nature of each system. According to the paper, “current climate policies until 2100 may lead to high tipping risks,” and that even includes the scenario in which humans get their act together and keep temperature rise below the 1.5 degree Celsius threshold by 2300. In other words, many of these tipping points represent a “point of no return.” Once the tipping point is reached, there is no going back.

One can clearly see how those who "fear the Lord" and acknowledge Him as Creator and Sustainer will not be able to co-exist much longer with those who believe that "humans are killing the world".  These folks who deny God will continue to push forth with draconian recipes for "saving the earth".

Those of us who believe God's word realize that this earth, in it's present condition, is passing.  We await the 1000 years when Jesus will reign and lift the curse currently crushing us under the weight of sin.  We currently have 8 billion sinners on earth and the vast majority want nothing to do God and His commands.

We also await the day, following the 1000 years, when this earth will be burned by fire and a new heavens and a new earth will be revealed.  How then shall we live?

We live by faith and not by sight.  We live by worshipping God and believing his promises and NOT by worshipping Mother Earth, Father Sky and Mother Nature.

Martin Luther's Hatred of Jews

 We have blogged on this in the past but with all the hatred of Jews and Israel ramping up like never before we thought we would revisit it.

Many churches in America believe in REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY.  This is the belief that all the promises made by God to the Jews and Israel have been given to followers of Christ today.  They believe that God has no further plans for Israel and the Jews.  This can help explain why so many churches today might be lining up with the Democrats who believe the "free Palestine!", rhetoric.

They totally fail to see the miracle of God bringing the Jews back to the land He promised Abraham.  And they totally miss the prophesies that are lining up for the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and for the Millennial reign of Christ.

Here are some of the things that Luther wrote after the Jews refused to believe his version of Christianity that deviated sharply from the Catholic faith.

First to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians. For whatever we tolerated in the past unknowingly ­ and I myself was unaware of it ­ will be pardoned by God. But if we, now that we are informed, were to protect and shield such a house for the Jews, existing right before our very nose, in which they lie about, blaspheme, curse, vilify, and defame Christ and us (as was heard above), it would be the same as if we were doing all this and even worse ourselves, as we very well know.

Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.

Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them. (remainder omitted)

Fourth, I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb. For they have justly forfeited the right to such an office by holding the poor Jews captive with the saying of Moses (Deuteronomy 17 [:10 ff.]) in which he commands them to obey their teachers on penalty of death, although Moses clearly adds: “what they teach you in accord with the law of the Lord.” Those villains ignore that. They wantonly employ the poor people’s obedience contrary to the law of the Lord and infuse them with this poison, cursing, and blasphemy. In the same way the pope also held us captive with the declaration in Matthew 16 {:18], “You are Peter,” etc., inducing us to believe all the lies and deceptions that issued from his devilish mind. He did not teach in accord with the word of God, and therefore he forfeited the right to teach.

Fifth, I advise that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like. Let they stay at home. (...remainder omitted).

Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them and put aside for safekeeping. The reason for such a measure is that, as said above, they have no other means of earning a livelihood than usury, and by it they have stolen and robbed from us all they possess. Such money should now be used in no other way than the following: Whenever a Jew is sincerely converted, he should be handed one hundred, two hundred, or three hundred florins, as personal circumstances may suggest. With this he could set himself up in some occupation for the support of his poor wife and children, and the maintenance of the old or feeble. For such evil gains are cursed if they are not put to use with God’s blessing in a good and worthy cause.

Seventh, I commend putting a flail, an ax, a hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hands of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow, as was imposed on the children of Adam (Gen 3[:19]}. For it is not fitting that they should let us accursed Goyim toil in the sweat of our faces while they, the holy people, idle away their time behind the stove, feasting and farting, and on top of all, boasting blasphemously of their lordship over the Christians by means of our sweat. No, one should toss out these lazy rogues by the seat of their pants.

While we might still appreciate what Martin was willing to do to stand against the Catholic church of his day, he certainly didn't finish strong with his screed against Jews.

Gold Bars Hit $1 Million For First Time Ever

 Not a big surprise that gold prices are up as America keeps printing/creating money out of thin air.  The more they print the more they devalue the dollars already out there.  Folks will want to hold wealth in REAL assets like gold and real estate.  Also we like to post articles with the word EVER in it.

For the first time ever, a single gold bar is worth $1 million, thanks to a surge in prices.

Gold bars weighing 400 troy ounces hit the million-dollar mark after the price of the precious metal climbed above $2,500 per troy ounce. However, not all gold bars weigh 400 ounces.

The recent highs are a first for the precious metal.

Spot gold was up about 1% to $2,563 per ounce as of 10:45 a.m. ET, surpassing a previous record hit on Friday. London’s gold price benchmark hit an all-time high of $2,521.55 per ounce at a morning auction on Tuesday, the London Bullion Market Association said.

Friday marked the first time gold had recorded spot prices above $2,500. Gold prices previously rose above the $2,400-level for the first time in April.

A JPMorgan report published last month said geopolitical risks, inflation hedging and interest rate outlooks have helped feed the gains that gold prices have posted this year.

There Were Giants in Those Days

 The Bible says there were nephilim on the earth BEFORE the flood and also afterward.  These beings were humans hybrids mingled with the seed of fallen angels.  The evidence of their skeletal remains were dug up all over America but the scientists of today seem to have misplaced all the evidence.

Why?

Because their existence doesn't support the theory of evolution that they are trying to push.

The Madison Banner states on the most reliable authority, that a person in Franklin county, Tennessee, while digging a well, a few weeks since, found a human skeleton, at the depth of fifty feet, which measures eighteen feet in length. The immense frame was entire with an unimportant exception in one of the legs. It has been visited by several of the principal members of the medical faculty in Nashville, and pronounced unequivocally, by all, the skeleton of a huge man. The bone of the thigh measured five feet; and it was computed that the height of the living man, making the proper allowance for muscles, must have been at least twenty feet. The finder has been offered eight thousand dollars for it, but had determined not to sell it at any price until exhibiting it for twelve months. He is now having the different parts wired together for this purpose. These unwritten records of the men and animals of other ages, that are often from time to time dug out of the bowels of the earth, put conjecture to confusion, and almost surpass imagination itself. History informs us that the Emperor Maximum was 8 feet 6 inches in height. In the reign of Claudius a man was brought from Arabia 9 feet 9 inches tall. John Middleton, of Lancashire, England, was 9 feet 3 inches, and Cotter, the Irish Giant, 8 feet 7 inches. But our American skeleton, if we have really found such a one, will throw all other Giants in the shade.

GIANTS BONES

There have been recently dug up in Williamson county, Tennessee, seven miles from Franklin, the bones of a giant and no mistake. We have conversed with an intelligent and enterprising gentleman of our city, who has seen, examined, and purchased an interest in the skeleton. From him we derive the following facts:  A Mr. Shumate was boring for water near his residence, upon a hill of considerable extent and eminence, situated in a rocky, mountainous section country, where the bones were discovered about 60 feet beneath the surface. They were immediately exhumed, and were found embedded in a strata of the hardest kind of clay which had apparently filled an extensive cavern or opening in the rock. The position of the skeleton was that of a recumbent, making an angle of the horizon. The bones are not at all petrified as in the case with most of the skeleton monsters of animals which have been discovered in our country, but are, nevertheless, in a most perfect state of preservation, and weigh in the aggregate about 1500 pounds!

No doubt rests in the minds of any who have seen or examined them, that these bones belong to the genus homo. All the larger and characteristic bones are entire, and the skull, arms and thigh bones, knee pans, shoulder sockets and collar bones remove all skepticism as to their humanity. The whole skeleton, we are informed, is about 18 feet high , and must have stood full 19 feet ‘in his stockings’ (if he wore any.). The bones of the thigh and leg measure 6 feet 6 inches, so that our friend, ‘the General,’ could have marched erect, in full military costume, between the giant’s legs.

The skull is described as being about 2-3 the size of a flour barrel, and capable of holding in its cavities near two bushels; a coffee cup of good size could be put into the eye sockets—and the jaw teeth, which are all perfect even to the enamel, would weight from 3½ to 6 pounds, some of the smaller ones which were loose have been weighed—the front teeth are missing.—These teeth bear the evidence of extreme age, from their cavities are apparent diminution from use in wearing away.  An eminent physician and anatomist, properly assisted, is engaged in having the skeleton put together and the small deficiencies supplied by art.

We are further informed by our fellow citizen, who has purchased an interest of one fourth in this interesting and wonderful curiosity, that it will be ready for exhibition in about one month’s time, when it will start on its tour thro’ the civilized world, and proceeding from New Orleans will shortly be among us here. Our fellow townsman keeps the price he paid for his interest a secret, but says that $50,000 has been offered and refused for the whole of this curiosity.

THE GIANT SKELETON.

The skeleton discovered in Williamson county in this State, and supposed to be that of a human being, has frequently been referred to, within a few days past, in the House of Representatives.  Notwithstanding the description given of it, as Wouter Van Twiller would say, “we have our doubts about the matter.” This skeleton was found about sixty feet beneath the surface of the earth, embedded in a stratum of the hardest kind of clay.  The bones are said to be in a perfect state of preservation, and weigh in the aggregate fifteen hundred pounds. All the large and characteristic bones are entire, and the skull, arms, and thigh bones, knee pans, shoulder sockets and collar bones remove all doubts, and the animal to whom they belonged has been decided “to belong to the genus homo.” This gentleman, when he walked the earth, was about eighteen feet high, and when clothed in flesh must have weighed not less than 3000 pounds. “The bones of the thigh and leg measure six feet six inches; his skull is said to be about two-thirds the size of a flour barrel, and capable of holding in its cavities near two bushels. Polyamory Continues Moving Towards Mainstream Acceptance

 Who invented monogamy anyway?  Answer:  God did.  Most men don't want it.  They want to have sex with multiple partners.  Gay men, especially, are known to have more partners than they can remember....which is why disease is most rampant in that culture.

As our society continues to move away from honoring God and fearing the Lord, we can expect to see more of a push for people to walk away from monogamy.

In today's newspaper we see how that push is being glorified and brought into mainstream practice and approval.

Bryan and Deron Demeritte and Joshua Rodriguez don’t exactly make up a stereotypical rural household.

It’s true that they hunt and fish and raise chickens, fruits and vegetables on their 10-acre farmstead in Waseca, surrounded by fertile rolling fields of soybean and corn.

But Bryan, a full-time farmer and a part-time Unitarian pastor and seminary professor, describes Deron and Joshua as his two husbands.

Think of it as Green Acres, nonmonogamy style. Or polyamory among the chickens.

Bryan, 52, is white, a former teacher who grew up Baptist in Missouri. Deron, 38, is Black and originally from the Bahamas. He works as an industrial and commercial HVAC foreman and has been legally married to Bryan for 11 years. Joshua (who plans to change his last name to Demeritte) is a 24-year-old restoration company project manager. He’s mostly Latino and grew up in Boston as the son of immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic and El Salvador.

Joshua has been in a committed relationship with Bryan for five years. He and Deron consider themselves as brother husbands.

In the language of the nonmonogamous community, they’re “nesting partners” in a polyamorous “V” relationship, with Bryan as the “hinge.” That means Bryan has a physical and romantic relationship with Deron and Joshua, but Deron and Joshua don’t have that sort of relationship with each other.

“I love Josh, but I’m not in love with Josh,” Deron said. “We’re like brothers, almost.”

The three recently moved into their five-bedroom ranch house in the small southern Minnesota town as business and relationship partners in what they’ve called Loving More Farmstead.

Their spread includes three barns, a field of corn, four small vineyards, an apple orchard, a couple of geese and 72 juvenile Heritage chickens that will earn their keep laying eggs for market. They’ll be adding a market vegetable garden and begin raising sheep for lamb meat next.

There are other f armers of color. And other gay farmers. But Bryan said he doesn’t know of any other gay, nesting, polyamorous, multiracial farming households.

So far, the Loving More trio said they haven’t had any problems fitting into their rural community.

“Were the happiest we’ve ever been,” Bryan said. “I think people in this Minnesota sense are very welcoming, but they also just leave you alone.”

“We’re all just people. We’re just trying to love,” Joshua said.

Becoming more mainstream Their lifestyle isn’t quite as unconventional as it once was regarded.

Recently, mainstream publications such as the New York Times have been writing about nonmonogamy and polyamory in ways that make it seem fashionable.

Target Closes 9 Stores Because of Theft

“You should not steal”, is one of the most understandable commandments for those who fear the Lord.  But when California announced they would quit arresting shoplifters for any theft under $1000 they opened the door for rampant theft.  Videos are everywhere of groups of masked folks (mostly black) running into stores and grabbing all they can and running out.

Stores can only tolerate only so much.  They aren’t in business to lose money.  Now notice the 9 stores they closed are all in far-left Democrat controlled cities.  Surprise!  Lawlessness will increase.

Part of the strategy included closing nine stores at the end of last October.

"We cannot continue operating these stores because theft and organized retail crime are threatening the safety of our team and guests, and contributing to unsustainable business performance," the company said in a statement at the time.

The closed stores included one in Harlem, New York City; two in Seattle; three near San Francisco and Oakland; and three in Portland, Ore.

At some hard-hit stores, Target also installed locking cases for "prone to theft" merchandise.

"Nobody Ever Saw Anything Like This Before"

 In our ongoing attempt to bring you articles with the words EVER and NEVER in them, we found another one today.  This one is about the global warming that will soon kill us all.  We must admit that if we didn't read our Bibles and didn't know how the story of life on earth would end, we would probably be carrying a sign at the capitol that says, "Stop Carbon Emissions NOW!"

The world is certainly groaning with earthquakes, floods, record heat, record cold, volcanoes...all signs of the coming Tribulation.  But those who worship Mother Earth goddess are convinced that humans caused all these weather events and humans need to fix it.

Controlling methane provides our best, and perhaps only, lever for shaving peak global temperatures over the next few decades. This is because it’s cleansed from the air naturally only a decade or so after release. Therefore if we could eliminate all methane emissions from human activities, methane’s concentration would quickly return to pre-industrial levels. Essentially, humans have released in excess of 3bn tonnes of methane into the atmosphere in the past 20 years. Quashing those emissions within a decade or two would save us 0.5C of warming. No other greenhouse gas gives us this much power to slow the climate crisis.

If the Earth keeps warming, though, reducing emissions from human activities may not be enough. We may also need to counter higher methane emissions in nature, including from warming tropical wetlands and thawing Arctic permafrost. The highest natural methane emissions come from wetlands and seasonally flooded forests in the tropics – such as the Brazilian Amazon forest I recently visited at the Mamirauá sustainable development reserve – and they are expected to rise with warming. Tropical wetlands yield so much methane because they are warm, wet (by definition) and low-oxygen environments perfect for growing methane-emitting microbes.

On my most recent trip there a year ago in July, El Niño [warming of sea surface temperatures] was strengthening and the tropical Atlantic was baking. Ocean temperatures off the coast of Florida approached hot-tub levels of 40C (104F) – close to temperatures suggested for cooking salmon and the highest surface ocean temperatures measured.

Warm ocean waters in the tropical Atlantic often bring drought to the Amazon. I sat in a boat in the Mamirauá reserve with my Brazilian host, hydrologist Ayan Fleischmann, who directs climate research there. “Drought may be coming,” he said and added: “Water levels several hundred kilometres upriver at a monitoring station in Tabatinga, Brazil, are already as low as they’ve ever been.” It was hard to envision drought as we floated past trees during the seasonal floods.

“The worst Amazon droughts happen in El Niño years with warm Atlantic waters,” Fleischmann said. The key ocean region is roughly the belt from the equator to Cuba and southern Florida. The extreme drought triggered by the 2015–16 El Niño featured record high temperatures, killed billions of trees and turned the Amazon from a global carbon sponge to a vast carbon source. Amazon fires raged in 2015 and 2016.

Fleischmann’s warning was prescient. In late September, just two months after I left, the region baked in unprecedented drought. Water levels in the Amazon system were lower than at any time since record-keeping began more than a century ago. Brazil’s minister for the environment, Marina Silva, said: “We are seeing a collision of two phenomena; one natural, which is El Niño, and the other a phenomenon produced by humans, which is the change in the Earth’s temperature.”

Air temperatures around Mamirauá topped 40C for days and the absence of rain and clouds cooked Amazon waters in the sun. In Lake Tefé, a tributary of, and gateway to, the western Amazon, where I first met Fleischmann, he measured water temperatures above 40C between 3ft and 6ft underwater.

When we spoke over Zoom a few days later, Fleischmann was distraught. “Nobody ever saw anything like this before. I saw 70 river dolphin carcasses along the lake and one animal still agonising. It was about 4pm and very hot. I watched a dolphin swimming in circles, struggling to survive. It was horrible. We didn’t know what to do or how to help it.” Not only was it hot and dry, but more than 7,000 fires raged across Amazonas state.

We certainly ARE NOT ridiculing the poor animals and dolphins that are dying because of hot water and draught.  This world is always a miserable place for most living things.  Rabbits killed by foxes in our backyard scream as they are carried off to be eaten alive.  When wolves find a buffalo stuck in the mud they commence to eat him alive starting from his soft rear end.  You can watch the awful thing on video as the proud beast stands there unable to move as the wolves drag out his intestines and eat his back legs off.  What kind of a cursed world do we find ourselves living in????  Death is all around us!!  Everything now currently alive on earth will soon die!!!

However, we laugh at the folly of men who believe that they can control the weather by stopping the Amazon forest from dying or by slowing the melting of the millions of square miles of permafrost.

As long as earth endures there will be warm, cold, spring, winter.  Some will be bad, some will be good.  Having temperatures in the Amazon for 100 years hardly qualifies as long term records.  

What's really happening is that the earth is getting close to going through the Great Tribulation.  I feel bad for every living thing that will have to go into it.  It will be hell on earth and most life will perish.  But God has ordained that it happen so it WILL HAPPEN.  Remember the flood of Noah??  Thankfully He also gave us a promise through Jesus that followers of Jesus will not have to endure the wrath that is coming upon the whole earth.

Nefarious, 2023 Movie

 If you haven't seen the movie NEFARIOUS, we finally watched it on Amazon Prime last week and give it a strong 5 stars.  

First off, it's NOT a HORROR MOVIE as the YouTube trailer would suggest.  There is nothing scary or gory about it.  Most of the movie takes place at a table in conversation between a psychiatrist and a death-row killer.

The actor who plays the inmate deserves an Emmy for Best Actor but of course Hollywood would NEVER dream of rewarding the actor or the movie because of it's conclusion that abortion is murder.  In fact the demons cheer every time another baby is murdered and God's creation is stunted.

The movie seems to be theologically correct and was very interesting.  Watch it and let me know!

DNC Begins in Chicago With Protestors Uniting Around Killing Babies and Killing Jews

The Bible has no mention of America in the very Last Days.  So where did we go?  Ultimately we will collapse under the weight of debt combined with a moral collapse.  "Bless is the nation who fears the Lord" will certainly NOT apply to America.

Now let's look at what's happening at the Democratic National Convention which is set to nominate Kackling Kamala and Tampon Tim as the best that they can do!  

Protester issues include climate change, abortion rights and racial equality, to name a few, but many agree that pressing for an immediate cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war is the top message of the demonstrations. They have likened it to the Vietnam War of their generation.

The Chicago area has one of the largest Palestinian communities in the nation, and buses are bringing activists from all over the country. Organizers say they hope the turnout for Monday’s march and rally, on the first day of the convention, will be at least 20,000 people.

“We have to play our part in the belly of the beast to stop the genocide, to end U.S. aid to Israel and stand with Palestine,” said Hatem Abudayyeh, a spokesperson for the Coalition to March on the DNC.

The coalition is made up of hundreds of organizations, including students. Activists say they learned lessons from last month’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. They expect bigger crowds and more robust demonstrations in Chicago.

The first protest on Sunday night brought together activists calling for abortion and LGBTQ+ rights and an end to the war in Gaza. Chicago police said two people were arrested on misdemeanor charges of resisting police and damaging property.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, who was under consideration as Harris’ running mate, said peaceful protests were welcome.

“There are a lot of people who are inside the hall who will believe in some of those messages and carry that with them,” Pritzker told The Associated Press in a recent interview. “But importantly, the Democratic Party doesn’t shut people out and disallow them from expressing their First Amendment rights.”  (Side note here;  Tim Walz allowed Minneapolis to burn to the ground while expressing their first amendment rights.)

But some have lingering safety concerns, worried that protests could become unpredictable or devolve into chaos.

Chicago, which has hosted more political conventions than any other U.S. city, has been unable to escape comparisons to the infamous 1968 convention where police and anti-Vietnam War protesters violently clashed on live television.

Some businesses boarded up their windows as a precaution, and county courts said they would open more space in case of mass arrests. Chicago police say officers have undergone extensive training on constitutional policing and de-escalation tactics.

Remember, this is the party that BOOED GOD at one of their recent conventions.  Of course they love to sacrifice babies to Molech, of course they like to maim children with gender confusion surgery and drugs, of course they can't recognize male and female as God created them!  So of course they hate Israel and Jews and would love nothing more that the sons of Ishmael to throw the chosen people, descended through Isaac and Jacob, into the sea.  They openly chant for that wish.

America will be destroyed but a Trump victory might delay it for a few years.  If these godless folks rule the country for another 4 years I don't see how we will last.
