Interfaith Prayer Service Offends

Would it bug you if your church brought in a Muslim to read from the Koran on Christmas?

Would you be upset if your church brought in a pagan witch to recite incantations?

How about an Indian medicine man who spoke from your pulpit from the ancient "great wisdom" his people claim to have?

Speaking to BuzzFeed News, Haines said: “It was a big multicultural day where lots of people who I had painted for the exhibition were taking part – we had people from pagan rock bands, gospel choir, a klezmer [Jewish folk music] band. We had all sorts of things going on.
“[For] the centrepiece at 4pm we had the local MP say a few words, followed by the bishop of Gloucester, Imam Hassan, and Rabbi Gerrard who were all saying prayers and blessings from their own faith. And then we had a pagan witch, who gave a short reading and quoted something by Brian Cox about how we’re all made from stardust.
“It was a lovely moment where everyone came together and everybody thought it was brilliant, and the afternoon carried on.”
However, people started to criticise the cathedral when it put up a video of the imam reciting the call to prayer on its Facebook page, Haines said.
“The Imam translated what he said to say there was no offence to anybody, which was lovely of him, and then I think there was some trolling from some right-wing evangelical Christians – most of them seemed to be from America. We had huge support from the local area. But unfortunately the cathedral decided to take it down.”
Gloucestershire Live, the local news website, wrote that people had commented on the church Facebook page calling the event inappropriate, and even questioning why a “different God” should be allowed to be worshipped there.

Trump Takes Power....Riots Promptly Begin

We live in a special and amazing country.  Every 4 years or so, the most powerful man in the country steps aside and hands all his power to another man.

Sometimes the people don't like the new guy....but typically the nation stays pretty civil about it and life goes on as it did yesterday.

But this election revealed some deep divisions among us....and the liberals whose candidate lost are not so sure they want to cede power to Donald J. Trump and all the other Republicans who so handily won last November.

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump's Inauguration Day festivities triggered a wave of turbulent demonstrations, dissent and dozens of arrests Friday as protesters brought traffic to a crawl in the nation's capital.

After a night of chaotic clashes between police and protesters, violence erupted again in the city's downtown, about five blocks from the presidential parade route.

Dozens of protesters — some self-described "anarchists" dressed in black and wearing masks — damaged businesses at 10:30 a.m. ET just before Trump's swearing-in ceremony got underway, Metropolitan police said.

Authorities arrested 95 people — some charged with rioting — in the Franklin Park area and acting Police Chief Peter Newsham said there was "significant damage" to at least four businesses. Two police officers suffered minor injuries as protesters flung bricks, trash cans and other objects, and ignited small fires.

"I saw one guy, he was like pushing a cop, kind of antagonizing him, and the cop with the riot shield was banging him back," Johnny Silvercloud, a freelance journalist who was photographing protesters, told NBC News.

Despite the arrests, the demonstrations continued through the afternoon, and police used pepper spray and flash-bang grenades to hold back the crowds, refusing to let people closer to the parade route.

What is largely a day of jubilation for the new president has been defined by mass protests that are expected to strengthen through the weekend. A Women's March on Washington set for Saturday is expected to draw 200,000 protesters — a number that Inaugural Historian Jim Bendat said could break records.

The protesters chanted and carried signs — many attacking Trump or making other political and social statements, including "Not my president," "No Islamophobia" and "Black Lives Matter."

Here;  http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/inauguration-2017/anti-trump-protesters-pepper-sprayed-eve-inauguration-outside-deploraball-d-n709321

Please remember to pray for Trump and his entire team and please pray for USA.

It has been such a blessing to grow up in this country....but most of us over the age of 40 realize this is not the same country we grew up in.  Atheists and their godless agenda have taken hold of this nation.  We are watching churches fold up, forced removal of crosses from cemeteries and the false belief take root that "all paths lead to god."

What used to be considered "wrong" just 10-15 years ago is now called "right".

What used to be called "evil" is now called "good".

The atheists and globalists can't stand Donald Trump because he refuses to accept their message and their agenda.  Because of this, the protests have already begun and as usual, they are burning things and breaking things....just like we would expect from the frustrated brats they are.

CNN Imagines What Would Happen if Trump-Pence Were Killed

The liberals over at Clinton News Network (CNN) are still having a tough time coming to grips with the trouncing they took in November.

Today we find that CNN took time out of their busy news reporting to discuss what would happen if someone killed Trump and Pence at the inauguration.  Is it possible that Obama could stay on to serve?

As the nation prepares for the peaceful transfer of power on Inauguration Day, CNN is dreaming up scenarios whereby the Obama administration can keep power if President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence were blown up as they prepared to take to oath of office.

On the Wednesday, January 18 broadcast of CNN’s The Situation Room, host Wolf Blitzer aired a segment with a chyron featuring the headline “Developing Now.” During that “developing” segment, Blitzer and correspondent Brian Todd discussed what would happen if the unthinkable occurred on January 20.

Blitzer introduced the segment, saying, “What if an incoming president and his immediate successors were wiped out on day one?” and from there, CNN contributor Brian Todd took over to outline the line of succession if an attack blew up the inaugural dais, killing both Trump and Pence.

The upshot was that in the case of both heads of state being killed, the Secretary of State would take over. Currently that man is Secretary of State John Kerry, But in case some objected because his office would also end as of noon on Inauguration Day, then it would be the Speaker of the House — Republican Paul Ryan — or even Obama’s Under Secretary for Political Affairs Tom Shannon.

The report also noted that the designated survivor appointed by the Obama administration could also become president in the case of a disaster. So, in CNN’s analysis, most of the people who would take over in the worst-case scenario would keep the Obama administration in power, at least indirectly.

So while most of the country is looking to enjoy the day’s events and waiting expectantly to hear what our new president will have to say for his first address as our leader, CNN is wondering what will happen if he is assassinated.

Perhaps CNN is still stuck in anger, the second stage of grief.

Here;  http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/01/18/cnn-airs-segment-saying-obama-admin-keep-power-trump-pence-blown-inauguration-day/

Of course had Fox News done anything remotely similar in the days leading up to Obama inauguration....people all over the world would have been screaming, "Racist!" "Bigots!" "Delusional hate-mongers" and all sorts of other liberal buzz words.

Russia & Turkey Carry Out First Joint Air Strikes

It would seem that with every passing week the forming of the Ezekiel coalition becomes harder to dismiss.

Russian and Turkish jets have carried out their first joint strikes on so-called Islamic State (IS) inside Syria, the Russian defence ministry says.

IS was targeted in the suburbs of the town of al-Bab, Aleppo province, where Turkey suffered heavy casualties last month battling the group on the ground.

Turkey's military was quoted by Reuters as saying Russia had carried out air strikes "in co-ordination with Turkey".

Russia and Turkey back opposing sides in Syria's five-year civil war.

Moscow intervened militarily in support of President Bashar al-Assad in 2015, while Ankara has funded and armed his opponents.

Al-Bab, about 20km (12 miles) from the Turkish border, has been the focus of a five-month Turkish-backed Syrian rebel campaign aimed at pushing back both IS and Kurdish forces.

US aircraft carried out strikes on the area earlier this week, also in co-operation with Turkey, but a joint combat operation between a Nato state like Turkey and Russia marks a highly unusual development.

Didn't Russia and Turkey fight each other in the air just over a year ago?

Yes, a Turkish F-16 fighter shot down a Su-24 bomber on 24 November 2015, while the Russian plane was on a mission in the Syrian border area. One of the crew was killed while the other was rescued.

This clash between Russia and a Nato state caused a crisis in relations between the two countries, with Moscow imposing sanctions which hurt the Turkish economy.

It only ended after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan publicly expressed regret.

Since then, the two countries have not only mended economic ties but worked together last month to secure a nationwide truce in Syria that is still in place despite violations.

Along with Iran, they are organising peace talks due to begin in the Kazakh capital, Astana, on Monday.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-38667895

Turkey and Russia highly unusual?  Along with Iran?

And please remember that this is all taking place just a handful of miles away from Israel!!

For those few folks out there who believe that all prophecy has already happened so there is actually nothing to "Watch!" for (also known as Preterists)....you are missing out on some potentially incredible "coincidences"...and the situation is beginning to look a lot like the vision that Ezekiel saw 2700 years ago.

Ezekiel 38
4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.

7 “‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

Garrison Keillor Gives Up on Christianity

I'm going to guess that MOST of my readers in the Midwest know who Garrison Keillor is.  For those of you who don't, he is a liberal darling and star of a PBS radio show called Prairie Home Companion.  He graduated high school from Anoka, MN and has a wonderful way of telling stories about funny things Minnesotans in small towns actually do.

According to this article a reader sent me today, Garrison says he is giving up on Christianity....because Christians should have known better than to vote for Trump.

Long-time public radio celebrity Garrison Keillor, who fancies himself a satirist of the highest order, has decided that because Donald Trump was elected and Christians should have known better, Keillor is giving up Christianity.

Writing in The Washington Post, the distraught Keillor commences his bewailing with what he feels is an accurate description of the president-elect:
Boy President heads for Washington to be sworn into office, pumping his fist, mooning the media, giving the stinky finger to whomever irks him, doing his end-zone dance, promising to build the wall, cut taxes, create jobs, provide great health insurance for EVERYONE and send his son-in-law to the Middle East to solve that little problem . . .

Then he laments:

So I’ve been shopping around for a new religion to see me through the next four years. Too many of my fellow Christians voted for selfishness and for degradation of the beautiful world God created. I guess they figured that by the time the planet was a smoky wasteland, they’d be nice and comfy in heaven, so wotthehell. Anyhow, I’m looking around for other options.

Gee, Garrison, it’s not as though Christians are forcing you to stay. It’s not as though those gun-totin’ – oops, sorry, didn’t mean to mention guns.

Keillor continues that “Buddhism involves way too much sitting still for my taste . . .  Hinduism includes sacred cows, and my experience with cattle makes it impossible for me to revere them."

Then he equates Judaism with Islam, writing, as any contrite former Christian would: “Islam is great and so is Judaism but they’re so complicated! You can’t just walk into a temple and listen to a holy person and burst into tears and throw yourself down on the floor, as you can with Christianity, and say, ‘I believe!’ and get dunked in water and, shazam, you’re in.”

Yup, that Christianity sure is a durned easy way to the Good Life Upstairs, requiring nothing but a simple statement of faith. It’s kind of odd that Christians revere the Ten Commandments, though.

With what does Keillor choose to comfort himself? “Confucianism, accepting the sacredness of confusion. Life is messy and it always has been.”

Of course, Confucius also said, "Nine things there are of which the superior man should be mindful: to be clear in vision, quick in hearing, genial in expression, respectful in demeanor, true in word, serious in duty, inquiring in doubt, firmly self-controlled in anger, just and fair when the way to success opens out before him."

The geniality of expression, respectfulness in demeanor, and self-control in anger somehow were missing from Keillor’s initial diatribe tarteting Trump.

Perhaps it’s because Keillor is not a superior man.

Perhaps he should be a better Christian, or at least, be better off as a Christian.

Here;  http://www.dailywire.com/news/12550/garrison-keillor-trump-presidency-im-through-hank-berrien

Wow....do you notice the MOCKING TONE Keillor dispenses?  Throw yourself on the floor, get dunked in water and you are into heaven?

The sad thing is...many liberals/atheists/pew-sitters actually believe that God can be "dealt with" by simply choosing a religion....ANY religion!  It's like shopping for cars.  A Chevy, a Buick, a Toyota or a Lexus...they are all good cars and they will all get you to where you are going so just pick one that agrees with you the most!

Keillor is also the epitome of what it means to be "liberal-elite"...."If only you were as educated, witty, well-read and intelligent as I am...then you would have NEVER voted for Trump!  The same thing goes for global-warming, evolution, gay-marriage, abortion and universal health care."

Ish. God continues to frustrate and confuse the self-proclaimed "intelligent" men.

We can keep praying for these lost souls and keep thinking about how we will always be ready with an answer for the hope we have in Christ when confronted by non-believers....because they are all around us.

One day these mockers will be dealt with...and what a terrible day it will be for them.

Galatians 6:7
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

We confirm with what our reader who sent this article says, "Also… if anything causes you to be “through with Christianity”, well you were never a real Christian in the first place."

What Is the #1 Prophetic Sign?

Remember, no human knows the day or hour that Jesus is going to return for His bride.

When he comes it will be like a thief in the night.  He will swoop in and snatch us off this planet in the twinkling of an eye.

That being said I hear some fellow Christians saying that they believe it's a waste of time and energy to spend any time looking at prophecy and pondering, praying and watching for the Lord's return.

I'm not sure how they come to that conclusion as it's very clear that Jesus told us to "Watch!"

I, for one, would not be surprised if Jesus came today, tomorrow, next week, next month or in the next years.  I hope he does.  I hope we are in the generation that Paul spoke of that never sees death.

The reason I wouldn't be surprised if He came any second now is because of all the events Jesus told us to watch for...and they all seem to be happening at the same time.  So it's not just ONE or TWO events, it's ALL THESE THINGS.

“When you see all these things, you can know my return is near. I’m right at the door” (Matthew 24:33).

He also said, “When all these things begin to happen, look up for your salvation is near!” (Luke 21:28).

The Convergence of Signs

The Bible tells us a number of events will take place just prior to the return of Jesus. Generations of Christians lived and died without witnessing one of these signs. Yet our generation is witness to all of them. Those signs include:
Israel Back in the Land – God promised to bring the Jewish people back into the land of Israel before He returned (Jeremiah 23:7-8). He said He would call them from “among the nations” (Ezekiel 39:28), from “the farthest corners of the earth” (Isaiah 11:12), and from “north, south, east, and west” (Psalm 107:3). He promised to welcome them home from the lands where they were scattered (Ezekiel 20:34). When they did, He promised to return and establish His everlasting kingdom (Isaiah 11:11-12).
The Jews Back in Jerusalem – Jesus said armies would surround Jerusalem, destroy the city, and enslaves its citizens. This happened in A.D. 70 when the Roman legions did exactly that. Jesus then said people other than the Jews would control Jerusalem for a time, then the Jewish people would once again control Jerusalem. When they did, Jesus promised to return (Luke 21:24-28). Since 1967, the Jewish people have been in possession of Jerusalem.
The Gospel Preached Throughout the World – When asked about the end of the age and the signs of His coming, Jesus said to look for a very specific sign. He said the gospel will be preached throughout the entire world. Every nation will hear it. And then? And then, the end will come (Matthew 24:14). For centuries after the crucifixion, the gospel was confined to a small area surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. In the past two centuries, Christians have brought the gospel to every nation in the world. Today, missionaries are in every nation. The Bible is translated in hundreds of languages, and the message of Jesus is sent around the world by radio, TV, satellite, and the Internet. Our generation is literally on the verge of spreading the gospel to every last person on earth.
An Increase in Travel and Knowledge – Six hundred years before Jesus, an angel gave Daniel a special message. He said “travel and knowledge” will increase in the end times (Daniel 12:4). For centuries of human history, dramatic gains in travel and knowledge did NOT take place. Yet the last two hundred years have seen explosions in the speed and frequency of travel as well as the amount and availability of knowledge.
Arrival of the Exponential Curve – Jesus said a variety of global signs will come before His return and the end of the age. These signs will be spiritual, natural, societal, and political in nature. And He said they would appear in a distinct way – “like birth pains” (Matthew 24:3-8).
This means the frequency and intensity of these signs will increase as we near His return. Our generation has seen the exponential increase in war and famine Jesus said to look for. In the 20th Century alone, more people died from war and famine than lived on the earth when Jesus spoke these words.
Israel Surrounded by Enemies – The Bible says enemies will surround Israel in the end times. Those enemies will say “Come, let us wipe away the nation of Israel. Let’s destroy the memory of its existence” (Psalm 83:4) and “Let us take for ourselves these pasturelands of God” (Psalm 83:12).
Ezekiel said Israel’s neighbors will say “God has given their land to us” (Ezekiel 11:14-17),
and “Israel and Judah are ours. We will take possession of them. What do we care if their God
is there?” (Ezekiel 35:10). Ever since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the daily headlines have included these Bible verses. Israel’s Muslim neighbors claim the land of Israel for themselves, and they have no regard for the God of Israel.
Israel’s Exceedingly Great Army – Ezekiel said, in the end times, Israel will field “an exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:10). Zechariah said Israel will be like a fire among sheaves of grain, burning up the neighboring nations (Zechariah 12:6) and even the weakest Israeli soldier will be like David (Zechariah 12:8). Since 1948, Israel has fought no less than four conventional wars against its neighbors. Despite being outnumbered more than 50 to 1, Israel has achieved overwhelming victory every time.
Rise of the Gog of Magog Alliance – The Bible says a military alliance that includes Russia, Iran, Turkey, and a number of Muslim nations will attack Israel “in the latter days” (Ezekiel 38:8) when God brings His people home from among the enemy nations (Ezekiel 39:27). Today, we see those very nations coming together – an alliance that has never existed in world history.
Rise of a United Europe – The Bible says a revived Roman Empire will come to power in the end times (Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 17). According to Daniel, it will be a ten nation alliance of weak and strong nations. Some parts will be as strong as iron, while other parts will be as weak as clay (Daniel 2:42). We see the beginning of this alliance in the European Union – a coalition of weak and strong nations struggling to stay together.
The Rise of Global Government – The Bible says a single government will rule the world politically (Revelation 13:7), religiously (Revelation 13:8), and economically (Revelation 13:1617) in the last days. It will rule over “all people, tribes, and languages” on the face of
the earth (Revelation 13:7). Its authority will be so complete no one will be able to buy or sell anything without its permission (Revelation 13:1617). For centuries, a true global government was impossible. Today, world leaders openly discuss it.
Denial of the Signs – Almost two thousand years ago, Peter issued a warning. He said in the last days people will mock the idea of Jesus returning. They will make fun of those who believe in the Second Coming and say exactly what we hear today – things like, “I thought Jesus was coming back? What happened to His promise? Generation after generation has said He’s coming. Yet, since the beginning of the world, everything has remained the same!” (2 Peter 3:34).
Friends, don't be surprised if our blessed hope happens soon.
"Cool Dennis, but when is soon?"
I have no idea....I just wouldn't be surprised if it happens soon.
1 Thess. 5
But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

UK Stands Up for Israel

Maybe the USA and UK are going to continue their "special relationship" for a while longer?

The UK shunned the global-elite by voting BREXIT and now we have Donald Trump frustrating the heck out of those same global-elitists...and now we find that UK might be joining Team Trump with plans on blessing Israel.

The United Kingdom defied the anti-Israel sentiment coursing through Sunday’s “peace” summit in Paris by criticizing the conference as detrimental to Israel’s interests and refusing to sign a joint statement issued after the summit which called for a two-state solution.

In a statement released by the UK’s Foreign Office, UK officials said they had had “particular reservations about an international conference intended to advance peace between the parties that does not involve them,” referring to the blatant lack of representatives from Israel or the Palestinian contingent.

The statement also referenced the inauguration of Donald Trump, arguing that the timing of the conference “just days before the transition to a new American President” rendered moot any agreement, of which the US would eventually be the “ultimate guarantor.”

Essentially, the conference would “harden positions” of Palestinian negotiators rather than encourage conditions for peace, the statement continued.

According to the UK spokesperson, Britain had attended the summit as an “observer.” It did not send high-level diplomats, sending instead three low-level representatives in a move which British press said was intended to appease Donald Trump, who reportedly disapproved of the conference. Indeed, in an interview with London’s Sunday Times, Trump had called on Britain to protect Israel on the international scene until he entered office.

While the Paris summit’s participants submitted a statement calling for a negotiated two-state solution in Israel (the conference’s only concrete result), the UK delegation refused to sign it.

On Monday, the day after the conference, the UK successfully blocked a French initiative to have the summit statement adopted by the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council.

“We will continue to support efforts to improve conditions on the ground to enable negotiations to resume and look forward to working with the parties, the new US Administration and other countries represented in this conference to make progress in 2017 and beyond,” read the Foreign Office statement.

Are the Liberal Elite in Retreat?

Why does so much of the world hate Donald Trump?

One big reason may be because his election has set back the tide of globalization and frustrated the liberal elite's plan of a one-world-government that would be run by folks who share their world view.

Brexit, the election of Donald Trump, and the rise of populism have left the world's "liberal elites" reeling. Can Davos, their ideological habitat, survive?

It's all too easy to take a swipe at "Davos" - the annual Alpine pilgrimage of the so-called global elite, during which they underline the urgency of tackling climate change to the hum of private jet traffic, pledge to alleviate food poverty while snacking on caviar canapes, and commit to reducing inequality while being waited on hand-and-foot by an army of service staff at exclusive dinner parties.

But beyond the often jarring contrasts, the World Economic Forum (or ze WEF, as locals call it), has always been able to point to its role in oiling the wheels of a socially progressive, pro-globalisation alliance - safe in the knowledge that, to a greater or lesser extent, it was in harmony with the tide of history.

Then came 2016. At the beginning of the year, when Donald Trump was still one of many potential US presidential candidates, and a date for Britain's referendum on EU membership had yet to be set, Davos regulars were remarkably sanguine.

The WEF's annual Global Risks Report, in which it tries to predict future crises, made little mention of anti-establishment forces and WPP's Sir Martin Sorrell reassured delegates that Hillary Clinton would emerge victorious, regardless of whom she ran against.

European leaders seemed confident that their institutions would survive the challenges posed by an influx of refugees, murderous attacks on capital cities and rising nationalist sentiment. Soundbites dismissing populist movements were easy to come by.

Fast forward 12 months, and the WEF crowd is comparatively muted.

With the notable exception of billionaire George Soros, few are going out of their way to condemn the incoming US president, even as his daily pronouncements signal that the world's most important economy is moving further and further away from the Davos model.

Perhaps no image sums up the new world order as well as that of a seemingly despondent Klaus Schwab, the respected German academic who is the driving force behind WEF, being ushered through the lobby of Trump Tower last month.

Make no mistake...the one-world-government is still coming that the Antichrist will one day take control of...but maybe America won't slide into it quite as readily as Team Obama and Team Hillary would have liked?

Maybe America, with Team Trump at the wheel, will continue to bless Israel and resist the United Nations and other globalist agendas?

Maybe America will continue to be blessed and won't be taken out the way until a loud trumpet sounds and a voice from heaven calls all followers of Christ to "Come up here!"

Europe Will Soon be Muslim Because of Their Stupidity

In our previous post we pointed out how a German court failed to see how Muslims burning a Jewish mosque was a hate crime.

Today we are reading that the original unity march in Paris following Muslims attacking Charlie Hebdo Magazine office in 2014....all came to nothing as Europe really has no interest in protecting the rights to criticize Islam.  On the contrary the liberals seem to trip all over themselves trying to defend Islam.

And now we read this from an Italian Bishop;

Top Bishop: Europe Will Soon Be Muslim Because of Our Stupidity

Everyone in Italy and the rest of Europe will “soon be Muslim” because of the country’s “stupidity”, a prominent Italian archbishop has said.

Monsignor Carlo Liberati, Archbishop Emeritus of Pompeii, said that Islam will soon become Europe’s main religion thanks to the huge number of Muslim migrants alongside the increasing secularism of native Europeans.

Speaking to Italian Catholic journal La Fede Quotidiana, the archbishop said: “In 10 years we will all be Muslims because of our stupidity. Italy and Europe live in a pagan and atheist way, they make laws that go against God and they have traditions that are proper of paganism.

“All of this moral and religious decadence favours Islam.”

“We have a weak Christian faith,” he added. “The Church nowadays does not work well and seminaries are empty.

“Parishes are the only thing still standing. We need a true Christian life. All this paves the way to Islam. In addition to this, they have children and we do not. We are in full decline.”

The archbishop added that the problem is not just Muslim immigration. The number of Eastern Europeans arriving over the past few years has also hit the quality of life for native Italians, he said.

“We help without delay those coming from outside and we forget many poor and old Italians who are eating from the trash,” the archbishop said. “We need policies that take care of Italians first: our young people and the unemployed.

“I am a protester. If I were not a priest, I’d be out there demonstrating in the squares. What is the point of so many migrants that instead of thanking for the food we give them, they just throw it, spend hours with their cell phones and even organise riots?”

He even criticised the Catholic Church for giving money to migrants.

“Giving money to migrants wandering around town is not only wrong, but morally harmful because we encourage their behaviour and they get used to that, not mentioning the fact that we already feed them.

“I think sometimes this creates a beggars’ network. I remember that my father went to work very hard as a migrant in Australia so I could go to seminary. So he has experienced in his own skin the discomfort of poverty and the noble virtue of gratitude.”

http://www.breitbart.com/faith/2017/01/14/top-bishop-europe-will-soon-muslim-stupidity/

We have no idea if Islam will end up being the dominant religion in Europe, but we agree with his comments that a large portion of Europe lives in pagan and atheistic ways and make laws that go against God.  If the folks in Europe are devoid in large part of the Holy Spirit....then demonic things like Islam, paganism and Satanism can certainly rush in to fill the vacuum.

Here in America we are following down the same path as our liberal relatives in Europe.  We have passed laws for gay marriage that go against God.  We teach millions of kids that hockey, basketball, baseball and anything to do with athletics is more important than keeping the Sabbath on Sunday and going to church to praise God.  We legalize hallucinogenic drugs that open up Satanic doors to destroy our kids.  We approve and encourage fornication in every movie and TV show that we laugh at with our kids.  We wink at pornography and do everything in our power to make sure our young kids can see damaging images on their smartphones. We murder millions of babies who we say are inconvenient and unwanted.  We rob God by buying big houses, big trucks, big boats and big vacations and then throw a $5 bill in the offering plate once per year at Christmas.

Of course this news saddens us, but it shouldn't surprise is.  The Bible said that there will be a great falling away in the Last Days as people seek to deny the truth and embrace evil.  It seems to already be complete in Europe.  How about America?  What part are WE playing every day to slow the decline?

German Court Slaps Hands of Muslims Guilty of Burning Synagogue

If you burned a Muslim mosque in Germany it would be called a "hate crime".

If three Muslims burn a synagogue in Germany, then that same court calls it "Israel criticism"and sends them home with a slap.

The liberals here and abroad are certainly demonstrating that their thinking has become foolish and futile.

A regional court in Germany has decided that a brutal attempt to set fire to a local synagogue in 2014 was an act meant to express criticism against Israel’s conduct in its ongoing conflict with Hamas.

A German regional court in the city of Wuppertal affirmed a lower court decision last Friday stating that a violent attempt to burn the city’s Bergische Synagogue by three men in 2014 was a justified expression of criticism of Israel’s policies.

Johannes Pinnel, a spokesman for the regional court, explained the court’s decision regarding the three German Palestinians who sought to firebomb the Wuppertal synagogue in July 2014. The court said in its 2015 decision that the three men wanted to draw “attention to the Gaza conflict” with Israel and deemed the attack not to be motivated by antisemitism.

Israel launched Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014 to stop Hamas rocket attacks into Israeli territory.

The court sentenced the three men – Muhammad E., 31, Ismail A., 26, and Muhammad A., 20 – to suspended sentences for tossing firebombs at the synagogue. and causing €800 worth of damage.

The original synagogue in Wuppertal was burned by Nazis during the Kristallnacht pogroms in 1938.

Wuppertal has a population of nearly 344,000 and is located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The court noted that the men had consumed alcohol and there were no injuries to members of the synagogue.

A 13-year-old boy who lived near the synagogue and noticed the flames called the police. Several days before the fire, a person sprayed “Free Palestine” on one of its walls.

After the court’s ruling, Volker Beck, a leading Green Party MP, said the “attack on the synagogue was motivated by antisemitism” and blasted the court for issuing a decision stating that the goal of the attack was to highlight the war in Gaza.

“This is a mistaken decision as far as the motives of the perpetrators are concerned,” he said, adding that the burning of a synagogue in Germany because of the Middle East conflict can be attributed only to antisemitism.

“What do Jews in Germany have to do with the Middle East conflict? Every bit as much as Christians, non-religious people or Muslims in Germany, namely, absolutely nothing. The ignorance of the judiciary toward antisemitism is for many Jews in Germany especially alarming, ” said Beck.

Romans 1:21
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Religious Leaders Bless New Abortion Clinic for it's "Sacred Work"

God clearly tells us in His word that he knew us before he set up the foundations of the world.  He also tells us that he knew us when he knit us into our mother's womb.

But for many people who are CINO (Christian In Name Only) they want nothing to do with the Bible and want to make up their own rules...rules that include killing babies if they aren't convenient or wanted by the mother.

As a case in point I was having a debate with an ELCA member and quoted Jesus' words from the book of John, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me."

He immediately said, "Jesus never said that.  John said that...and we don't know which John said it....because there were a lot of guys named John running around during the time of Christ.'

You see this ELCA member wanted desperately to believe that all people worship the same god...especially Muslims, Christians and Jews....so he had figured out a way to reject parts of the Bible that disagreed with his desires.

Another ELCA member was debating me just last week in an email.  I had quoted Galatians 1 to him where Paul warned that if an angel came in the future, preaching a different Gospel than the one Paul was telling them, may that angel be cursed to hell. (think about how Islam was started...an angel in a cave harassing Muhammad that the Gospel was lies)

The ELCA member replied, "Yeah, I don't believe that passage carries much weight because Paul was clearly upset when he wrote it."

Wow!  HE COULD TELL PAUL WAS UPSET...SO HE REJECTED THE WARNING FROM PAUL!!!

Clearly the devil has been hard at work repeating the lie he first started with..."Did God REALLY say that?"

Today we find a scary article that reports on the religious leaders who are willing to bless a new abortion clinic and it's "sacred work".

More than 20 religious leaders of different faiths assembled Tuesday to bless Planned Parenthood’s new abortion mega-clinic in Washington, DC, praising its “sacred work.”

“In almost every message to our staff, I talk about our doing sacred work,” said Dr. Laura Meyers, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington. “This confirms the sacredness of the work we do.”

The event was organized by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and included “leaders from different Christian denominations, a rabbi, abortion providers, a Planned Parenthood patient, Hindu priests, an Imam over Skype, visual art, and a liturgical dance.”

Rabbi Michael Namath of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism led the faith leaders in prayer, invoking their obligation to make the world to “whole and holy.”

“May the ones who bless our ancestors bring healing on all in need,” Namath said after reciting a text in Hebrew. “God, let your spirit rest upon these caregivers, who serve as instruments of your hands.”

A number of Christians participated as well, offering “progressive voices” to counter the orthodox Christian understanding of abortion as the sin of murder.

“I’ve been a Christian longer than I’ve been an abortion provider,” said celebrated pro-choice activist Willie Parker. “Women have been made to think that this is some evil place, where God is not.”

Parker denounced those who would criticize women for making “sacred decisions,” referring to the choice to abort their children.

“Our answer to the curse is to bless,” he said.

“The conservative voices are big,” said Rev. Dr. Christine Wiley of Baptist United Church of Christ. “It drowns out the progressive voices, but it’s not that progressive voices aren’t there.”

Dr. Serina Floyd, the medical director at Planned Parenthood, said that “patients express shame, guilt, or fear about how God will perceive them.” Underscoring the importance of a change in perception, Floyd said: “Now I can tell patients that this is a blessed space.”

Floyd says she looks forward to telling patients that “those of faith also support your decisions.”

The faith leaders were joined over skype by Imam Daayiee Abdullah, reportedly America’s first openly gay imam. Two Hindu priests, Venkatesh Vadhyar and Bragadeesh Balasubramanian, also joined in the blessing, chanting to provide “a good vibration to the building” so that anyone coming in “will be healed soon.”

Rev. Christine Wiley, an African American, tied her support for Planned Parenthood to the historic struggle of blacks in the U.S. “African Americans have been used to a sense of adversity and oppression, so this is just another thing,” she said. “We’ve been in worse places than this.”

Last fall, however, a group of 26 leading black Christian clergy and intellectuals wrote an “open letter” to Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, noting that abortion-on-demand has had a “catastrophic impact” on the black community in the U.S.

The black Christian leaders, including eight African American bishops, said that black babies “are dying at terrifying rates,” and asked: “Don’t black lives matter?”

In their letter, the leaders noted that the rate of abortion among blacks is far higher than among whites, with “365 black babies aborted for every 1,000 that are born.”

“Blacks account for roughly 38% of all abortions in the country though we represent only 13% of the population,” they said, citing statistics that have led black Christian leaders to speak of a “black genocide” occurring at the hands of abortionists.

At Tuesday’s blessing ceremony, the group sang “This Little Light of Mine,” a hymn taken from Christ’s words to his disciples, “You are the light of the world” and his call to them to provide light to those around them.

They did not, however, sing another hymn inspired by Christ’s words: “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.”

I'm not sure what will happen to "Christians" who supported tearing babies limb from limb and ripping their heads off in their mother's womb and who never repented.  When they meet Jesus will he say, "Well done good and faithful servant." or will He say, "Depart from me.  I don't know you."

Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Also, please notice that this article is also a foreshadowing of how the ONE WORLD RELIGION is going to come together.  We have a gay Muslim Imam, some CINO's, some Hindu priests and a Rabbi all at this event.  This is the dream of the people who stick COEXIST stickers on their cars.
