No Peace Please

Funny that we paraded Netanyahu and Abbas in front of all the cameras in D.C. and talked grandly of peace. I think Obama maybe even got a photo opp out of the deal.

Anyway, while they were smiling, Hamas was telling the truth back in Palestine.

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said that no one will be obligated to adhere to a potential peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Israel Radio reported on Friday.

Any agreement to come out of the current peace talks would be illegitimate because the Palestinian Authority has not been authorized by the Palestinian people to negotiate on their behalf, Haniyeh stated.

Remember, Abbas is not part of Hamas...he is a member of Fatah. If you recall Fatah was run out of Gaza a few years ago when Hamas started butchering them. Why? Because they weren't violent enough for Hamas' taste. (Side note question; Who kills more Muslims than anyone? Answer; Other Muslims)

Abbas truly can't speak for the Arabs of Palestine. He is just barely holding onto power.

Mass Extinctions

According to scientists the animals of planet earth are going extinct at an alarming rate. I don't doubt this...but I'm pretty sure I will have a totally different idea of WHY this is taking place.

Human activity such as fishing, agriculture and logging have greatly accelerated the rate at which species go extinct. As of last year, one in eight birds, one third of amphibians and almost a quarter of mammals were threatened with extinction, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Today's rate of extinction may be as great as 100 times the historic norm, according to LiveScience. Some scientists even say that we're entering a new phase in the Earth's history, called the Anthropocene Epoch.

I have a better idea....maybe we are entering a new phase in the earth's history....it's called the Millennium and will be ushered in when Jesus Christ is sitting on the Throne of David.

Until that day the earth will groan and quake, famine and drought, rise and fall. It is simply groaning with anticipation of what it WILL become.

Obama Asked to Lead Muslims

In Pakistan there is a Government Minister of Industries that believes if Obama offered Muslim prayers at Ground Zero and agreed to be the Caliph of Muslims.....then, "all the problems of the Muslim world would be solved."

Minister of State for Industries and former member Pakistan Ideological Council Ayatullah Durrani called TheNation on Wednesday to register his demand made to President Obama. “The coming Eid would expectedly be observed on 9/11, this a golden opportunity for President Obama to offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero and become Amir-ul-Momineen or Caliph of Muslims. In this way, all the problems of Muslim World would be solved,” he thought.

Durrani argued that Muslim World was in “dire need” of a Caliph and the distinguished slot of Caliphate would earn President Obama the exemplary titles of what he termed, “Mullah Barrack Hussain Obama” or “Allama Obama.” “The time is approaching fast. Barrack Hussain Obama must act now. This is a golden opportunity, Muslims badly need it,” he added, saying that the elevation of President Obama to Muslim’s Caliphate would be the “key to success.”

Wow. Where do even start with this one? First off it does help to confirm that millions of Muslims around the world believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim. I wonder why that is? Of course he denies it and claims he saved by Jesus Christ....so why don't millions of Muslims believe him?

It's funny that CNN, NBC, ABC, etc...don't send camera crews all over the Muslim world and ask why many of them believe Obama is a Muslim. Why do some of you think it would be a good idea for him to serve as The Muslim Caliphate?

Also, could this tiny little article be more foreshadowing of what may be coming for Obama? Of course you know that many believe he has designs on being the President of the world. This little stop over in America for 4 years as POTUS is just a warm up for his speech giving capabilities. And once he is done with this term in 2012...he will be off to bigger and better things. Never mind being the leader of 300,000,000.....maybe there are BILLIONS that he could lead?

I know some of you believe that Obama will end up being the Antichrist. Of course the Bible is clear that Christians will NEVER know who the AC is while we are on earth. Paul makes it very clear in II Thessalonians that the Holy Spirit will be removed (rapture) before the Antichrist is revealed.

But this article casts just a tiny bit more spark on the fire of "what is Obama up to?"

Burning Korans

Of course everyone is weighing in with comments and thoughts about a little church in Florida that plans to burn a few Korans to commemorate 9/11 attacks. We even have Obama giving comment that doing such a thing could seriously make Muslims mad all over the world.

But now Iran has weighed in with their thoughts about who the real culprit is in this Koran burning conspiracy....SURPRISE!!

Tehran on Thursday said that Israel was behind the plan by a United States pastor to burn copies of the Koran on the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the official news agency IRNA reported.

Aha! It's those dang Jews who flew to Florida, drove into the woods, found that Podunk church with 50 people in it, told the pastor to grow pork-chop sideburns...and BURN SOME KORANS!!

"The current U.S. administration should fulfill its duties in guaranteeing the basic rights of American Muslims for avoiding the spread of such inappropriate and devilish moves," Mottaki said.

How about the Iranian government guaranteeing the basic rights of Christians and humans, in general, within their country? Would that be possible? Oh that's right....you stone women for inappropriate behavior...and hang gay-men for crimes of perversion. Never mind.

Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, one of the senior clergy figures in Iran, on Wednesday harshly condemned the Koran-burning plan and called on the U.S. administration to arrest Terry Jones.

OK Mr. Golpaygani, how about you arrest your President Ahmadinejad for saying the Holocaust never happened and for calling for Israel to be wiped off the map and for lying to international community about your nuclear activity? That is SO offensive to us!! Or how about for sending money and missiles to Hamas and Hezbollah so they can educate their children in the art of Jew hatred, suicide bombing and learning to be victims...a role that Arabs and Muslims seem to play very well?

This whole thing is so crazy....it can only be happening now....at this point in history when everything seems to be coming apart with alarming speed.

I wonder where the outrage was when Saudi Arabian Airlines forbade Bibles to come on their airplanes or come into their country? Where was the media coverage? Where was the flag burning demonstrations as we jumped on Saudi flags and demanded death to all Saudis? Really?...it never happened....huh.

And of course the U.S. military is saying that burning Korans is exactly what the Muslim extremists want because it will play into their hands and help them recruit other extremists. Good point. However, let's remember that we already do plenty of things that are helping the Taliban recruit terrorists....like teaching women to read, letting women hold public office, producing pornography, allowing unmarried people to dance and have sex....they can already download lots of YOUTUBE videos of America that will help them recruit.

If they are already filled to the brim with hatred....can it really make it worse if some guy in Florida with pork-chop sideburns wants to burn a few books?

Finally, if the media would have ignored this from the beginning...they wouldn't have helped to inflame the Muslim world. Pork-chop would have burned his books and only 50 people in the Okefenokee Swamp would have known about it. So what's up with that??

I have a feeling that burning Korans won't accomplish much and as a follower of Christ I may come to the conclusion that burning them won't help to lead lost people to Christ so maybe it should be avoided.

But I am amazed by the hypocrisy of Muslim nations (Iran) and also amazed by the hypocrisy of the U.S. media who seems to cover this Koran burning 24 hours per day...but don't seem to have any interest in the ban on Bibles in most Muslim countries...and also don't seem real concerned when Hollywood offends Christians by portraying Christ in un-Godly character, plays and art. When that happens...of course they are the champions of freedom of speech.

What a joke.

Persecution is coming friends. You can smell it in the air. And the more you believe that all the Bible is true...the more you will come under attack.

Spiritual Gifts

Yesterday we were talking at a prophecy luncheon and someone asked, "If we are seeing all these things (signs the Bible talks about)...what are we supposed to do?"

Of course the short answer is that we are supposed to, "Snatch people from the fire." That's what Jesus told us to do when we see all these things.

So how is that done?

Apostle Paul says we will run and never grow tired. How could that be? Maybe it's because Paul is talking about using the Spiritual gifts that God promised all believers...and if we use those gifts, we will be given a supernatural strength from God himself to keep working and working and continue to find more and more joy and fulfillment in the work God has prepared for us.

Of course if we are doing work that we are NOT supernaturally empowered to do....we will wear out and collapse pretty darn easy.

So the longer answer is that we are supposed to discover our Spiritual gift (or gifts) and then use those gifts to help the body and bride of Christ (The Church)...and when you do that you will be doing your part to help snatch people from the fire. You will be salt and light to a dark world.

Your neighbors and un-saved friends will be attracted to you. They will want to find out how you continue to be upbeat and positive in such a dark economy or such dark personal circumstances.

So how do you discover your Spiritual gifts? Many times they will be pointed out to you by other mature followers of Christ. It's like other people can see them...even if you can't.

But if you need to get started somewhere so you can get busy and get to work...I found this little survey that asks some questions and may help in leading you to what gifts you have.

Of course we all want to be busy when the Master returns....because the Master said it will go well for those servants.

So it doesn't matter if you are 18 or 98....we are all responsible for using the talents (gifts) that God gave us so that we can glorify God and snatch others from the fire....before the door slams shut.

Michele Bachmann

Politics are getting less and less interesting to me. The road America has been on and the ditch we have driven into are the result of Republicans AND Democrats simply refusing to make politically difficult choices over the past 70 years. Giving voters what they want without any regard to how they will be paid for is a recipe for problems...and that is exactly where we find ourselves.

With that being said, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (Republican) had some interesting things to say about Israel and America at a speech she recently gave.

I am convinced in my heart and in my mind that if the United States fails to stand with Israel, that is the end of the United States . . . [W]e have to show that we are inextricably entwined, that as a nation we have been blessed because of our relationship with Israel, and if we reject Israel, then there is a curse that comes into play. And my husband and I are both Christians, and we believe very strongly the verse from Genesis [Genesis 12:3], we believe very strongly that nations also receive blessings as they bless Israel. It is a strong and beautiful principle.

Right now in my own private Bible time, I am working through Isaiah . . . and there is continually a coming back to what God gave to Israel initially, which was the Torah and the Ten Commandments, and I have a wonderful quote from John Adams that if you will indulge me [while I find it] . . . [from his February 16, 1809 letter to François Adriaan van der Kemp]:

I will insist that the Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation. If I were an atheist, and believed in blind eternal fate, I should still believe that fate had ordained the Jews to be the most essential instrument for civilizing the nations. If I were an atheist of the other sect, who believe or pretend to believe that all is ordered by chance, I should believe that chance had ordered the Jews to preserve and propagate to all mankind the doctrine of a supreme, intelligent, wise, almighty sovereign of the universe, which I believe to be the great essential principle of all morality, and consequently of all civilization.

. . . So that is a very long way to answer your question, but I believe that an explicit statement from us about our support for Israel as tied to American security, we would do well to do that.

These are some amazing things for Mrs. Bachmann to say....because they are true!

I would expect the fury of the atheists, replacement theologians, non-Bible believing Christians and others to come down on Bachmann in the near future....because she spoke the truth.

I am convinced that America was made great by God for the sole purpose of standing by Israel and helping to incubate her while the Satanic world attempted to destroy her. The power that God gave our military was used to help Israel stand on her own two feet.

But the Bible tells us that a day is coming when Israel will be all alone...and there will be no one coming to her aid....not even the USA.

This fact makes one wonder....where did the USA go?

Did the USA collapse because of moral decline, financial collapse, the rapture of the Church....or a combination of all these factors?

The Stars Fall to Earth

Revelation 6:13 tells us that one of the things men on earth will see during the Tribulation is, "And the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind."

Of course this is describing the vision John saw of bright objects falling to the earth....like meteorites.

So we would expect to start to see more of this activity coming from space...as a foreshadowing.

GIANT FIREBALL WAS A METEORITE

Colombian authorities confirmed that a "giant fireball" that fell from the sky in the Santander department, central Colombia, was a meteorite.

The Colombian media has been buzzing with eye witness accounts of the fireball, which caused a massive explosion at 3:15PM local time Sunday.

Andina.com reported that Bucaramanga Mayor Fernando Vargas confirmed that the phenomenon was a meteorite that left a crater 100 meters in diameter when it crashed into the earth in the San Joaquin municipality in Santander.

Colombian air force helicopters were commissioned to fly over the area to try to locate the source of the explosion.

The director of the University of Nariño's Astronomic Observatory, Alberto Quijano, told RCN Radio Sunday that he believed the object was a meteorite.
In rural areas of Santander, police received reports that the explosion had shattered windows in the area.

I'm glad we won't be around when these big fireballs start hitting planet earth with much frequency.

No Jewish State

As the "peace talk" continues between Netanyahu and Abbas, this exercise is quickly revealing why peace will not happen. Of course they can't even agree on the most basic of starting points.

For instance, Netanyahu demands that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Of course Abbas said that would not be possible.

Well you may as well pack up your puppets and head home then....because the puppet show is cancelled.

A Jewish state is EXACTLY what Israel is and was always meant to be from the very get go. A place where persecuted Jews from around the world could come....a place they could call there own...a place that always keeps a Jewish majority.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said that he would not recognize Israel as a Jewish state in an interview with east Jerusalem newspaper Al-Quds.

When asked about Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's demand that the PA recognize Israel as a Jewish state, Abbas said "Israel can call itself whatever it wants. We don't have to recognize those definitions."

Abbas repeatedly told the interviewer, on his trip from Libya to Jordan, that he will not compromise, especially when it comes to settlements and 1967 borders.

Abbas complained that the "historic compromise" that Netanyahu mentioned in his speech is a request for Palestinians to "withdraw all the issues, especially with the occupied territories in 1967."

"We reject this because we see the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip as indivisible," Abbas said.

Notice that Abbas said West Bank (called Judah in OT) and Jerusalem are indivisible...meaning that in order to have peace they must be in the hands of the Palestinians.

Now notice what God says, "The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem." Zechariah 2:12

Now can we continue to understand why Satan wants this land so badly?? Do we see the pattern?
