What does Iran, North Korea and Israel all have in common?

Answer: They all may soon come under pressure from the G8...and this headline may prove to be calamitous for the world's 8 largest economies.

The G8 consists of Britain, Canada, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the US. Leaders meet annually to discuss security, development and economic issues.

Do we all understand how absurd this is....how totally lacking in logic this is??

Iran is run by religious despots that has killed thousands who disagree with them. North Korea is run by an insane gopher in a pantsuit that has hundreds of thousands of citizens starving in forced labor camps. And the G8 wants to lump Israel into the same discussion even though they are the only civilized democracy with human rights in the region.

Also notice the prophetic sentence regarding the USA....the pressure applied on Israel may hinge on the what the USA has to say about it.

Pray that we will will continue to stand against the world and stand with Israel. Our very existence will depend on it.

Jesus Never Died?

This article may help to wake up our Christian friends who believe that Muslims don't need to be told the truth about Jesus. So many folks calling themselves Christians have the erroneous belief that, "all streams lead to the same ocean"....meaning that all people, no matter what they believe will end up being with their creator in the end...whomever that may be.

What a load of crap!

Jesus himself tells us very clearly that unless we claim Him as Savior...there will be no hope for us. Terrifying.

Here's is what an Islamic site tells us is the "truth" about Jesus:

And when God asks: "Jesus son of Mary. Did you say to people: 'Take me and my mother as deities besides God?'" he will reply: "Glory be to You! It is not for me to say what I have no right to say! If I had said it, then You would have known it. You know what is in my self, but I do not know what is in Your Self. You are the Knower of all unseen things." (Qur'an, 5:116)

What does the Bible tell us about the Trinity? God, Jesus, Holy Spirit....one in three and three in one. Clearly this is in direct conflict with Islam.

Christians have fallen into serious error by deifying Jesus (pbuh). (God is surely beyond that.) Those who adhere to this error will have to give an account in God's presence on the Day of Judgment. According to the Qur'an, Jesus (pbuh) will bear witness that they turned away from the true religion, because, like all other prophets, he called his society to believe in God as the one and only and to serve only Him. Qur'an 5:119 says that this event will occur in the Hereafter, which means that it refers to the Day of Judgment, as revealed in the above verses. The sentence "This is the day when the sincerity of the sincere will benefit them" indicates this.

Remember, hundreds of millions of Muslims believe that JESUS WILL COME BACK TO EARTH....but it will be to serve as the aid of the 12th Imam...not to sit on the throne of David to be the King of the earth during the Millennium.

Friends, millions of Muslims out there believe that there is no such thing as the Son of God...and the Catholic church (for one) believes that Muslims shouldn't be told about the Son of God.

Apostle John tells us that whomever doesn't have the Son of God DOES NOT HAVE LIFE!

How can anybody be so ignorant to believe that "all streams lead to the same ocean?" Either the Muslims or the Christ followers are DEAD WRONG! They can't both be true.

Do we really know what we believe? Would we be able to defend it if confronted? Do we have a heart for the lost who don't know Christ? Are we willing to help the Lord of the harvest gather souls in these last days? Or are we just going to sit around entertaining ourselves as millions approach the day of eternal separation from God?

U.S. Senate Votes to Stand With Israel

This is a good headline to see for a change;

US senators urge Obama to stand by Israel

Bethlehem – Ma’an – In a letter, 87 American senators told President Barack Obama that the US “must continue” to stand with Israel. In a senate of 100 members, the group of 87 represents a strong majority.

Declaring that Israel “faces multiple threats from Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the current regime in Iran,” the senators outlined the importance of Israel as an ally to the US.

The group suggested the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which was involved in the attempt to send aid to Gaza, should be listed as a terrorist organization, and said it has "additional questions about Turkey and any connections to Hamas."

Further, the senators declared their opposition to the UN's main human rights organ, stating, "We also deplore the actions of the United Nations Human Rights Council which, once again, singled out Israel."

This could be huge for our country...the fact that most of our senators saw through the Turkish plot to appear as "peace activists" while their real intent was challenging Israel's Gaza blockade.

Floods In Brazil Simply Coincidence?

Some of the worst flooding in Brazil's history has recently happened. Dozens are dead, hundreds of thousands are homeless and the numbers seem sure to rise.

So is it a total coincidence that Brazil has been meeting with Iran regarding their nuclear plans AND Iran just so happens to be Israel's arch enemy?

During the talks on Wednesday, Brazil's foreign minister said adoption of the fourth sanctions resolution against Iran by the UN Security Council was an improper response to Iran's praiseworthy initiative of agreeing to nuclear fuel swap.

Again...I don't know the answer to this. The floods may simply be a birth pang. But it is interesting to wonder if natural disasters are going to follow the nations who discontinue blessing Israel...or even go so far as to curse Israel.

We Don't Want to Work!

The problem with Europe is far from over. What's the main problem? They refuse to work very hard or very long and believe it is their right to be well cared for by taxing or borrowing someone else's money.

We know Greece had gotten to the point where the retirement age was 53 when the IMF suggested they better start working to age 60 or their socialist platform was going to collapse in financial ruin.....they all went on strike and threw some firebombs through windows to show how serious they were about not working past age 53.

Now today the same struggle continues in France.

Of course they work much harder than their Grecian contemporaries....managing to stay at the grindstone until the decrepit age of 60.

But when President Sarchozy suggested that workers may have to work a few more years to help relieve the stress on all the pension plans....many of them went on strike.

PARIS (AP) — Many French trains stood still, schoolchildren played instead of studied and post offices were shuttered as workers nationwide went on strike Thursday to protest President Nicolas Sarkozy's plans to raise the retirement age to 62.

You gotta love this part;

France has one of Europe's lowest retirement ages, allowing workers to retire at 60 in most sectors. The government says the reform to the money-losing pension system is an "obligation," given France's burgeoning deficit and its aging population.

Unions say money for the pension system should come from higher taxes or charges on those who are still working, and see cost-cutting in the pension system as an attack on a hard-fought way of life.

Did you catch that? The unions say France should just raise taxes to protect the attack on their hard-fought way of life. Incredible.

Again, what do you think is going to be the outcome when our own state and federal governments need to cut Section 8 housing, food stamps, welfare, free medical care, Social Security, etc...to millions and millions of folks who will see it as a systematic attack on their hard-fought way of life?....a life which consists of living on welfare collected from those folks who do work and/or from a Government intent on borrowing money it can't pay back?

I hope I am wrong but let's remember that Europe was the scene of constant warfare for many centuries. They have calmed down since WWII because we took away all their armies and basically told them they couldn't play with sticks and stones anymore. (probably one reason they don't like the USA too much) That and generous pensions and public programs have tamed their warring ways for the past 60 years. After all, who really wants to fight when you can retire at 55 and sit on the beach in Greece or France and have the government take care of you til death?...and the US Government protecting you from that nasty Soviet Union?

BUT....when their unsustainable social programs come to a screeching halt...Europe may quickly fall back into it's clans and countries and they WILL start pointing fingers at who is to blame for crashing their 40-50 years of generous benefits, vacations and beach sitting. And once the rhetoric heats up to a fevered enough pitch....they may start rebuilding their armies (National Guards) to protect their own pieces of turf.

Public Support for Iran Strike

I received this info today from author Joel Rosenberg:

(Philadelphia, PA, June 24, 2010) -- An intriguing new survey of international public opinion indicates deep concern over the mullahs in Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, and strong support for preemptive military action to stop Tehran from getting the Bomb. According to the Pew Research Center's Global Attitudes Project 2010....

* In 16 of the 22 states included in the survey, people who were polled said they would support preemptive military strikes against Iran to prevent the mullahs from obtaining nuclear weapons compared to avoiding a military conflict with Iran, even if that means allowing the mullahs to have nuclear weapons.

* In the U.S., 66% support a military strike on Iran, compared to 24% who object.
* In France, 59% support a military strike, compared to 41% who object.
* In Germany, 51% support a military strike, compared to 39% who object.
* In Great Britain, 48% support a military strike, compared to 37% who object.
* In Egypt, 55% support a military strike, compared to 16% who object.
* In Jordan, 53% support a military strike, compared to 20% who object.
* In Lebanon 44% support a military strike, compared to 37% who object.

* However, in Turkey, only 29% support a military strike, compared 37% who object and would allow Iran to get nuclear weapons.

That said, I don't forsee a U.S. or NATO preemptive strike to stop Iran from getting the Bomb, especially with General David Petraeus moving from CENTCOM commander to running the war in Afghanistan. Will Israel launch a strike? That remains to be seen, but if Netanyahu orders one, don't expect these poll numbers to hold up. International public opinion would likely turn decisively against Israel in such a conflict.

That's pretty interesting that even the folks in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon support a strike in Iran. Who would have thought?

So basically if the U.S. or NATO decides to strike Iran, more folks will support it than object to it....but if ISRAEL strikes Iran....many of those same folks who claim to support a strike will end up having a cow.

How racist is that?

No More Free Money

The Federal government had been offering an $8000 tax credit for anyone buying a new home. This was done in an attempt to reignite the housing market....and most folks thought that it had done that...announcing that the worst may behind us as far as home purchases goes.

But once the free money was gone...it appears they may have been wrong.

WASHINGTON -- Sales of new homes collapsed in May, sinking 33 percent to the lowest level on record as potential buyers stopped shopping for homes once they could no longer receive government tax credits.

What a pickle. People refuse to buy anything unless the government gives them free money...and the government doesn't have any money to give....so they just keep selling IOU's to any investors that will buy them...knowing full well that we are drawing closer and closer everyday to the point of no return....when all the taxes collected in the USA simply won't pay the principal and interest payments on the mountain of debt they have rung up.

The world needs a savior. The problem for the world is that when he comes....he will be the Antichrist....and they will accept him because he will have a recipe that promises to pull them out of the pickle barrel.

5.5 Shakes Canada's Capital

A strong earthquake measuring 5.5 rocked Ottawa and Montreal in eastern Canada Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter of the quake was 38 miles, north of Ottawa, Canada.There were reports of the ground shaking in parts of Ontario, including Ottawa and Toronto, according to The Globe and Mail newspaper.

Tremors were also felt as far away as Springfield, Massachusetts and Traverse City, Michigan, The Globe and Mail reported, citing Twitter reports.

Office buildings in Ottawa were evacuated after the quake.

The Saudis Said What?

The first report is that Saudi Arabia has given permission for Israel to fly over it's airspace to attack Iran...and they will pretend that they never saw them.

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.

The second report is that Saudi Arabia HAS NOT given permission for Israel to fly over.

Saudi Arabia would not allow Israeli bombers to pass through its airspace en route to a possible strike of Iran’s nuclear facilities, a member of the Saudi royal family said Saturday, denying an earlier Times of London report.

Earlier Saturday, the Times reported that Saudi Arabia has practiced standing down its anti-aircraft systems to allow Israeli warplanes passage on their way to attack Iran’s nuclear installations, adding that the Saudis have allocated a narrow corridor of airspace in the north of the country.

So how could that be? It's either one or the other right? Wrong. Remember this is the Middle East. They can say one thing and then leak the opposite. That way...they can use either report to explain themselves regardless of the outcome of any event.

If Israel does attack Iran, watch for the Saudis to lambaste Israel and act terribly surprised at the carnage that Israel has caused on it's "Muslim brothers".

But on that very same day the Saudis will send a HUGE box of chocolates to Netanyahu and his military advisers...and the card will say, "Thanks a ton Israel...we owe you BIG time! Now please eat your chocolates and destroy this card. We will resume our verbal attacks on your country immediately."

Strike Iran Now

The former head of the Israeli spy agency is saying that Israel needs to strike Iran now.

JERUSALEM — Israel should launch a pre-emptive strike to prevent arch-foe Iran from going nuclear, a former head of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency said on Monday.

"I am of the opinion that, since there is an ongoing war, since the threat is permanent, since the intention of the enemy in this case is to annihilate you, the right doctrine is one of pre-emption and not of retaliation," Shabtai Shavit told a conference.

"To use retaliation as the main strategy means to sit idly and wait until the enemy comes to attack you," a university statement quoted Shavit as saying.

"But we are dealing with an enemy that plans all the time and waits for the opportunity to arise in order to attack, so what is the point, even morally, to wait and do something only when we are attacked," he said.

CA on Verge of System Failure

We have been watching California very closely for years now because we have believed the state to be a potential foreshadowing of what may be coming for the rest of America.

Today this headline emerged;
Report: California on 'Verge of System Failure'

Think of it as Greece on the Pacific: A place with beautiful scenery where the government spent so far beyond its means that mass layoffs, welfare reductions that leave a million children and the poor and elderly without needed services and failing infrastructure are now the norm.

California’s fiscal hole reportedly is now so large that the state would have to free 168,000 prison inmates and permanently close 240 university and community college campuses to balance its budget in the fiscal year that begins July 1.

“We are on the verge of system failure,” Jean Ross, executive director of the California Budget Project, told the Globe and Mail.

NOW CHECK THIS OUT:

Budget analysts say Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has no choice but to ask Washington for bailout funds, and that Washington has no choice but to agree because not bailing out the Golden State could put the entire U.S. economy at risk.

It seems that California — which at one time had the third-largest economy in the world — is like the biggest U.S. banks: Too big to fail.

As we have asked all along....if the Federal Government bails out CA, then what about NY, NV, IL, MI, AZ that are also soon going to experience "system failure"?

Finally, who will bail out the Federal Government when they go broke from bailing out all the broke states? Will the other governments of the world come to the conclusion that the USA is also "too big to fail"?

Of course we can make an educated guess regarding the answer to that already; the IMF may be bailing us out one day in the not distant future. When that happens, the one world currency spoken of in the Bible will be well on it's way.

Keep praying and evangelizing...because when that last person says "Yes!" to Christ....the Age of Grace will be done and we will be out of here! Sing it!..."Like a bird from these prison bars I've flown....I'll fly away!"

Another Flotilla May Trigger War

The Arabs/Muslims seemed so pleased with the "success" of the Turkish Flotilla that others are being planned. I have "success" in quotes because the incident (see previous post) served it's purpose of producing photographs of dead Turks capable of turning world opinion against Israel.

So now it's Lebanon's turn to bring aid to the poor folks in Gaza. And a Lebanese General is warning that if Israel does anything to these women.....there will be hell to pay.

TEHRAN (FNA)- A retired Lebanese General warned Israel against a raid on a convoy of Lebanese ships carrying humanitarian aids for the people in Gaza, stressing that any such move by the regime will be reciprocated with Hezbollah's crushing response.

Hatit pointed out that the ships are carrying Lebanese humanitarian aids and all the passengers are women or journalists who carry no weapon, and thus, the Zionist regime cannot label them as terrorists.

His comments came after the Zionist regime attacked a six-ship convoy of international aids for the besieged people in Gaza on May 31. During the raid, over 100 Israeli soldiers supported by military choppers killed 20 international human rights activists and wounded 80 more.

Now take note that this news article is from an Iranian news source...so of course they are going to describe the terrorists with knives and pipes who attacked Israeli soldiers as, "international human rights activists."

And I would guess this Iranian news service also had bought the Reuter's photos that had cropped out the butcher knife that those "activists" were carrying. Again, see previous post called FAUXTOGROPHY to understand this line.

Anyway, regardless of what the truth is and whose version anyone believes.....the real truth is that war seems to be brewing in a big way in the Middle East....and Israel seems to be right in the center of it.

Many of us can probably remember when Reuter's News Service was caught editing and Photo shopping pictures of the Israel/Lebanon war of 2006. Of course they were changing the pictures to make Israel look bad.

Well it should come as no surprise that the same news service has been caught doing it again. And of course they chose to doctor the Turkish Flotilla incident photos...in an attempt to make Israel look bad....and in an attempt to inflame Arab/World hatred against Israel.

No wonder Reuter's News has earned the nickname, "Al-Reuter's". (think Al-Jazeera)

In these photos you can see at the link below...you will clearly see that Reuter's thought it was a good thing to edit out a knife and a pool of blood....the knife held by a "peace activist" and the pool of blood coming from a knifed Israeli soldier.

Israel Increasingly Isolated

Yes,...again!! Israel is front and center in the Opinion section of the Wall Street Journal today.

The nations are wringing their hands about what to do with Israel....and Israel is growing increasingly isolated. Both of these conditions, of course, are spoken of in the Bible as what we should expect to see in the very last days.

Now take note of this one paragraph;

This is something new in the world, this almost complete segregation of Israel in the community of nations. And if Helen Thomas's remarks were pathetic and ugly, didn't they also point to the end game of this isolation effort: the nullification of Israel's legitimacy as a nation? There is a chilling familiarity in all this. One of the world's oldest stories is playing out before our eyes: The Jews are being scapegoated again.

Yes, the West has a very serious problem trying to see things clearly. It makes one wonder how long we can survive in a very dangerous world while wearing blinders?

The above article goes on to squarely point out this problem....and also the problem of Middle Eastern hatred. This hatred is part of the human condition and has absolutely nothing to do with Israel and it's occupation. It has EVERYTHING to do with the pathetic condition of the Islamic countries and their refusal to look at themselves as the primary reason for their misery.

Of course, make no mistake. If our condition in the U.S. grows pathetic....we will also look to blame someone else. The whites will blame the blacks, the blacks will blame the Latinos, the U.S. will blame Mexico and China, the Senate will blame the corporations and the corporations will blame the government.

As we said....it's a human condition. And this condition will be unsolvable until the Prince of Peace returns to replace these sinful costumes of meat that we are all wearing around 24-7....and give us new incorruptible ones.

Our problem in the West is understandable. We don't want to lose more moral authority than we already have. So we choose not to see certain things that are right in front of us. For example, we ignore that the Palestinians—and for that matter much of the Middle East—are driven to militancy and war not by legitimate complaints against Israel or the West but by an internalized sense of inferiority. If the Palestinians got everything they want—a sovereign nation and even, let's say, a nuclear weapon—they would wake the next morning still hounded by a sense of inferiority. For better or for worse, modernity is now the measure of man.

And the quickest cover for inferiority is hatred. The problem is not me; it is them. And in my victimization I enjoy a moral and human grandiosity—no matter how smart and modern my enemy is, I have the innocence that defines victims. I may be poor but my hands are clean. Al-Qaida Warns U.S.

The U.S. nemesis, Al-Qaida, has now issued another video warning the U.S. that new attacks are on their way.

Nothing new there...but it is interesting in that the video seems to be taunting President Obama.

Oh yeah....also notice that tiny Israel is of course mentioned as one of Al-Qaida's main problems.

CAIRO – Al-Qaida's U.S.-born spokesman warned President Barack Obama Sunday that the militant group may launch new attacks that would kill more Americans than previous ones.

In a taunting, 24 minute message that dwelled on Obama's setbacks, including the loss of Massachusetts Senate seat to the Republicans, Adam Gadahn set out al-Qaida's conditions for peace with the U.S., including cutting support for Israel and withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

Gadahn's statement was notable for its mocking tone, in which he described Obama as "a devious, evasive and serpentine American president with a Muslim name," and seemed to delight in his setbacks.

"You're no longer the popular man you once were, a year ago or so," he crowed, ascribing his drop in popularity to the escalation of the U.S. wars abroad.

I thought Team Obama promised some good new relations with all the enemies that President Bush had reportedly made? I thought he was going to hit the "reset" button and make friends with everyone?

So how come it seems that all of our enemies hate us just as much, or actually more, now that Team Obama has taken over? (insert copious amounts of sarcasm along with a puzzled look and your index finger held to your chin as you read this question)

Is the U.S. Snakebit?

The editor of Rapture Ready makes some good comments today as he wonders if all of the bad things happening to this country all at once is something more than "coincidence".

As we have said many times, "If you see something that lacks all evidence of logic...there must be something supernatural behind the events."

Here's a short list of the serious problems that seem to be plaguing us all at once....kind of like a perfect storm.

1. We currently have the worst oil spill in our nation’s history. According to government estimates of daily flow figures, anywhere from 73.5 million to 126 million gallons gushed from the breached wellhead—whether that crude spilled into the water or was captured. In case you were wondering, like me, whether the oil might run out, there are still 2.1 billion gallons in the reservoir. The vast majority of the released oil is still in the Gulf. Even if the flow were stopped today, the consequences of the spill would continue to mount for years to come.

2. There has been a spate of negative weather events. Tennessee was hit with a massive amount of rainfall, shattering numerous all-time records. There was also a deluge in western Oklahoma, with Oklahoma City being the hardest hit. Last week, folks in Minnesota saw the most number of tornadoes they had ever seen in a single day: On June 17, there were 31 twisters, topping the old record of 27 set on June 16, 1992. And in Arkansas, just down the road from Terry and me, a flash flood killed more than 20 campers at a state park.

3. It is well known that our federal government is facing a host of debt problems. The financial trouble goes right to the bedrock of our nation. San Diego and Detroit are on opposite scales from each other. The first has an economy-based defense, tech manufacturing, and tourism, while the Second City is a rust-bowl city with heavy ties to the automobile industry. Both cities are on the verge of bankruptcy. San Diego is being weighed down by an under-funded retirement and health system. Detroit is literally rotting away. There are now 10,000 abandoned homes in Detroit that the city managers want to tear down and turn into empty lots.

4. Our foreign policy has become a slow-motion train wreck. The war in Afghanistan is now the longest in our nation’s history. European heads of state are starting to doubt America's ability to be a global leader. Opposition to key aspects of U.S. foreign policy remains pervasive in the Muslim world. While America’s favorability rating in Egypt has dropped from 27 percent to 17 percent, nut jobs like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are able to travel the globe and make new friends simply because they are enemies of the U.S.

Strange times indeed. If you throw in just a little more "bad luck" like a solar storm that shuts off the electricity, or a bit of anarchy in California when the food stamp program is reduced, or a powerful earthquake in Missouri that rips up our necessary infrastructure....you have the recipe for a lot more change to life as we know it.

But honestly friends....what should we REALLY expect from the God of the Universe when the vast majority of Americans refuse to give Him thanks for our blessings, and seem totally satisfied to stay in absolute ignorance of His Word?

God will not be mocked.
