The Fighting That Will Happen Over Coronavirus Vaccine Will Get Ugly

Let's assume a U.S. company announces tomorrow that they have a successful COVID vaccine.  Now who should get it first?  People in the U.S. because their company solved the problem first?  Should young people get it first since they respond better to vaccines?  Should old people get it who are already close to dying?  Should black people get it first since blacks get COVID at a much higher proportion than whites?  Should people from poor countries get it all since they can't afford it anyway?  Will some people be forced to take it?  Was the YouTube video PLANDEMIC really a conspiracy theory?  Is the term "conspiracy theory" really just a term invented by the FBI to teach people to dismiss something that the government doesn't want you to see or know?

As this article points out, the fight over WHO gets the vaccine will most certainly turn political...and maybe even spiritual.

For most people, a vaccine against the coronavirus can’t come soon enough, as it will be the only tolerable way to achieve herd immunity. So it’s encouraging that more than 100 drug candidates in 12 countries are in development, and eight are already entering clinical trials. To accelerate the process, some people are heroically volunteering to expose themselves to infection. With luck, some of us can get our shots next year.

And yet, there’s still a danger that humanity will fail in its quest to control Covid-19. The culprit wouldn’t necessarily be the medical complexity, fiendish as it is, of engineering a vaccine. It could also be the ensuing politics surrounding inoculation. The fights will be intense, irrational and sometimes nasty.

The first problem is that even after we become confident that a particular vaccine is effective and safe, there won’t be enough for everyone. So we’ll have to decide: Who should get the shots first? Who won’t get any? These questions will come up between countries, and within them.

Given the right leadership, the world would overcome these difficulties with dignity and wisdom. Forty years ago, for example, as the world shivered in a Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, humanity nonetheless managed to unite and eradicate smallpox.

Today, however, the odds for health-care multilateralism are bad. A new Cold War is underway between the U.S. and China. And a “My Country First” nationalism is infecting ever more countries, including several of those working on vaccines.

Rich nations will try to outbid poor ones in securing supplies of the vaccine. And someone like U.S. President Donald Trump may not necessarily “share” a scarce vaccine invented and made in America with other countries. German officials were outraged earlier this year after reports — never confirmed — that Trump tried to buy CureVac, a German company working on a vaccine, in order to get exclusive access.

Ethical problems of triage will also haunt domestic politics. Most people will agree that health-care workers on the front lines should get first dibs on jabs. But, after that, nothing is clear. Should pregnant women get priority? What about the elderly? They’re in greatest danger of dying if infected, but they respond much less to vaccination than younger people do. So if herd immunity is the goal, inoculating the old may not make sense.

On it goes, with increasingly charged decisions. What about “essential workers,” and who are they anyway? Migrant workers and prisoners live in cramped conditions. Should they jump the queue? Not least, in this time of Black Lives Matter, there’s the question of whether ethnicity should in some cases confer priority. In the U.S., Black and Latino people are suffering disproportionately from Covid-19. Should they get shots before Whites?

If these dilemmas are political dynamite, they may end up looking trivial next to what’s sure to be the biggest showdown: the standoff between scientific rationality and conspiracy theories. Early in the pandemic, there were hopes that the balderdash of anti-vaxxers would become untenable and their movement would atrophy. Instead, it’s booming.

Humans have always spun conspiracy theories, especially at times of calamity. The anxiety that comes with loss of control primes people to seek simple explanations with compelling story lines and an obvious culprit. Unsurprisingly, the Covid-19 epidemic has been accompanied all along by an “infodemic.”

For example, a fake-news video called “Plandemic,” claiming that the new coronavirus was hype and that a vaccine would kill millions, was viewed more than 7 million times on YouTube before it was taken down. Demonstrators from Germany to the U.S. have been spreading bizarre fantasies that Bill Gates, one of the world’s great philanthropists, conspired with “Big Pharma” to engineer SARS-CoV-2 so he could establish a global health dictatorship. He’ll police this with microchips implanted under your skin. There’s no end to this bilge available on the Internet.

None of this is funny. Conspiracy theories have already led to anti-vaxxers refusing to get shots against measles, thus compromising the already-achieved herd immunity and causing new outbreaks of this deadly disease. The same could happen when a coronavirus vaccine becomes available. The threshold for herd immunity against Covid-19 is estimated at between 55% and 82% of a given population. But only about 50% of Americans say they’d get vaccinated.

So the time for corona statecraft and education is now, before the vaccine arrives. Internationally, countries are likely to be most open to multilateral solutions before it’s clear which nation will first develop a vaccine. Domestically, the debate about who has priority has the best chance of staying scientific before people are clamoring for jabs. Above all, educating people to distinguish facts from fake news is effective only before they become exposed to, and infected by, conspiracy theories. We have to win the struggle against disinformation this year, or lose the fight against Covid-19 in 2021.

Wow!  That's really interesting!!  Bloomberg News provided the article.  And they very clearly want you to know that anyone who doesn't believe in Bill Gates and his philanthropic intentions, or believes that a micro chip could be used to track vaccinations or that WON'T line up to be first in line for COVID vaccine, is a conspiracy theorist.

Can you see how the Antichrist is going to have a hay-day when he shows up?  Everyone who disagrees with his ideas on vaccines, money, religion and government will be labeled a "conspiracy theorist" and be targeted for death since they "don't seem to care about the health, wealth, peace and safety of the rest of us."

"While they are saying 'peace and safety', destruction will come upon them suddenly."

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is at it Again

She’s at what again?  Being stupid and anti-American. What an embarrassment that folks from Minnesota elected her. But of course that just shows how many Muslims and “woke” Democrats we have in her district.
************************

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has called for the complete dismantling of the American way of life, which she described as a “system of oppression.”
When speaking Tuesday in Minnesota alongside the Minnesota People of Color and Indigenous Caucus, Omar ripped into the United States as a predatory entity that targets minorities.
“As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequality,” the Democrat and “Squad” member said.
Omar supported self-avowed democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in the Democratic primary. She is now supporting Biden’s candidacy.
While Biden was viewed during the primary as a moderate Democratic alternative to Sanders, he is essentially tied to Omar and others in the party’s more radical wing, and has not yet released a statement condemning or supporting Omar’s Tuesday comments.

10 Ways War of Gog & Magog Could Erupt Tomorrow

Sorry for the lack of posts these past 3 days but I’ve been off the grid out in South Dakota, but the world keeps moving! We have blogged dozens of times about Ezekiel 38-39 and it continues to move into place.  Check out this article.
**************

But could a third world war really be on the horizon? When looking at the in rise international hostilities taking place worldwide between nations, the notion of such an apocalyptic battle seems to be an extremely realistic scenario. The following is a list of international hostilities that if erupt simultaneously, can spiral into a Third World War. And due to modern defense technology, the devastation can be unprecedented. A war of this magnitude can potentially be waged any day now…even as early as tomorrow.
  1. China vs America
It’s no secret that the China – America relationship has cooled since Trump waged his trade war – and even more so during the covid-19 pandemic. But can a trade war escalate into an actual war? After Trump threatened that Washington would cut the ‘whole relationship’ with Bei Jing, the White House took it a step further deploying three aircraft carriers to the South China Sea. Seeing it as a potential provocation, Bei Jing recently hinted at blowing up those very aircraft carriers.

5. Turkey vs Greece
Turkey could be looking at a war on several fronts as hostilities between their old rival, Greece have resurfaced as the latter accuses Erdogan of deploying Syrian refugees to Greek shores. Making matters worse, the Greek military is currently amassing troops on their border with Turkey against the backdrop of increased tensions between the two countries caused by Turkey’s intentions to conduct oil and gas exploration in the Greek continental shelf in the Aegean Sea.
6. Egypt vs Ethiopia
Ethiopia is planning to build a massive dam to supply their population with much needed hydro-electric energy. The only problem is that the dam will block a key water source to the Nile River – Egypt’s main source of fresh water. This has caused pro-government journalists to call for war against Ethiopia.

10. Iran/Turkey vs Israel
Could the Sunni and Shiite superpowers of the Middle East unite in a joint effort to destroy Israel? Several top Middle East experts see it as a realistic scenario. Islamic expert Dr. Mordechai Kedar noted that “Turkey and Iran see themselves as a powerful unified front that can stand against any other country in the world right now, whether it is Russia, the US, Israel, or Saudi Arabia.” Meanwhile Middle East expert Seth Franzman notes that their coperation in Syria and Iraq lay the groundwork for a potential joint strike against Jerusalem.
Compounding the threat, official voices out of Tehran have threatened retaliation for sabotage inflicted upon Iranian nuclear sites.

Epstein’s Cohort Caught & Ready to Speak

This will be interesting to watch. Lots of Epstein friends are probably nervous right about now and are maybe even planning on how Ghislaine Maxwell could also commit suicide while she’s in prison.  We have seen enough evidence to be convinced that it’s true. There is a large pedophile ring that includes many of the most powerful people in Hollywood and in politics. And of course it is very Satanic.  When the Bible tells us, “The whole world is under the control of the evil one”, you can know it’s true.
*********************************

Assuming that Ghislaine Maxwell doesn't wind up with the means to kill herself in her jail cell, and assuming those who are supposed to be watching her 24 hours a day won't be taking any well-timed coffee breaks, Maxwell will be "naming names" and "fully cooperating" with the FBI according to a former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, according The Daily Mail
Epstein's former employer Steven Hoffenberg said that Maxwell "knows everything" and will "totally co-operate".
In addition, Prince Andrew, who has been nudged further and further toward the center of the Epstein/Maxwell controversy, is "among those very worried" about what she might reveal, the report says. "She's going to cooperate and be very important. Andrew is definitely, definitely concerned,"Hoffenberg said.
Maxwell's arrest has put increased pressure on Prince Andrew to testify about his relationship with Epstein. Maxwell is facing 35 years behind bars as a maximum sentence and may be looking to cut a deal, the report suggests.
