Candace Owens Banned from Speaking in Australia

 The free world seems to be entering a stage where freedom of speech is being brought into question.  You may find yourself banned from traveling to a country if you dare say something that offends Muslims (practically everything), but in Candace’s situation she married a Catholic man and suddenly started questioning the history of Jews and the Holocaust and Israel’s war with Muslim terrorists.  Those things probably shouldn’t get you banned from speaking but the Left is in control of most Western nations and they have an overwhelming desire to control everything.  They scream that Trump is an authoritarian but can’t see themselves in the mirror.  They want to control, by force, what you drive, what you eat, what you buy, what vaccine you want and what you say.  If you don’t comply they will gladly lock you up.

She was widely criticized for comments in a YouTube video in July that minimized the Holocaust.

Owens had promised Australian and New Zealand audiences a discussion of free speech and her Christian faith when she announced the speaking tour in August.

But Australian officials banned her from the country in October, with Immigration Minister Tony Burke telling reporters Owens “has the capacity to incite discord in almost every direction,” citing her remarks about the Holocaust and about Muslims.

“Australia’s national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else,” Burke said. Australian Jewish groups had urged officials to bar her from the country.

UK Votes FOR Assisted Suicide

This topic will be coming to America real soon.  If your 57 year old wife gets Alzheimer’s should you be allowed to kill her?  Wait…should she be allowed to kill herself before she gets too incompetent to finish the job?  What if your husband has to go to a nursing home that costs $10,000 per month and you have very little money left in your retirement account and it will be gone and you will be bankrupt after about 6 months?  “Hey honey, if you really love me, you’d take this arsenic pill and die.  If you don’t you will leave me bankrupted and penniless.”  What kind of husband wouldn’t kill himself for his wife?   

This topic will be heavily debated just like abortion.

On one hand, I’ve had many dogs that I’ve loved dearly, but when they started to suffer, we killed them, because we loved them.  Could the same argument be made for your mother, father or wife?

The problem will be the slippery slope.  “Hey old folks?  You’ve now reached age 75 and you’ve had a good, long life.  Please say your goodbyes to everyone and report to the funeral home on December 1 where we have scheduled your termination appointment.  As you know, this is the law that our government voted into place to help our society save billions in long term care costs.  Please play your part of helping your kids and grandkids.”

I believe it’s up to God to start and finish life.  We can certainly tell our health providers we don’t want feeding tubes and breathing tubes near the end of our lives and let God take us naturally.  But the danger of helping people kill themselves is the expectation that everyone should kill themselves when they become “useless” to society.

Those interventions gave many MPs pause – particularly that of Wes Streeting, the health secretary who expressed his fears that the NHS was in no state to deliver such a seismic change.

But when it came to their final choice, it was the voices of ordinary constituents that rang in the minds of most MPs and whom they referred to the most in their speeches in the chamber.

Where Has the 12th Imam Been Lately?

 If you do a search on this blog you will see that we have done quite a few posts on the 12th Imam (also known as the Mahdi) over the years.  But really haven’t brought you any updates for years.  

Back when Ahmadinejad was the president of Iran, (he was also a serious “twelver” which means he is all in on believing in the return of the 12th imam)we spoke frequently about the Shiite belief of Mahdi’s return.  Many of Iran’s leaders think that mass global chaos is necessary for Mahdi to return and that THEY can play a part in seeding that chaos.  And Ahmadinejad was in the news almost daily.

Satan loves to mimic and copy things of God.  Christians believe that Jesus is returning to earth one day, and Shiite Muslims believe that a little boy was put in a well at Muhammad’s funeral and will return as a Muslim world leader in the very last days.  It’s a very satanic and dangerous belief.  Many of the attributes of Mahdi sound very similar to how the Bible describes the Antichrist.

But the good news out of Iran is that thousands are coming to Christ every day by dreams and visions.

 Most of us recognize the word Sanhedrin and typically we see it in our Bible when we see the word Pharisee.  They were both ruling bodies for Jews in Israel and had a serious problem with Jesus claiming to be Messiah.  Well they are still around and every year they tell the Jews of the world to come back to Israel.  But this year, they really mean it!  Read on

The nascent Sanhedrin in Jerusalem has made an official ruling, calling on Jews outside of Israel to come home.

“We are the beis din (rabbinic court) of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and we have poskened (officially ruled) that all Jews around the world have an obligation and chiyuv (religious requirement) right now to do whatever is in your power, to come to Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel), and that is the mitzvah of Torah (Biblical requirement). And that is the mitzvah of today, especially because of what’s happening around the world and the dangers that all the Jews are in around the world. It’s necessary now more than ever to come to Eretz Yisrael, and we as a beis din have poskened that all the Jews have to come as soon as they can back to eretz Yisrael.”

The Sanhedrin’s ruling was intended for Jews worldwide, so it was recorded in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, French, and Spanish.

Wander explained that the Sanhedrin makes this announcement every year, but this year, it is of special significance and is garnering more attention than in the past. 

“It has to do with what’s happening worldwide,” Wander explained. “Jews worldwide are feeling pressure and are more open to the message. Antisemitism is taking on dimensions and forms that have not been seen since before the Holocaust.”

“My concern is that with the Trump victory, many Jews that are in North America, the majority of Jews, perhaps in the world, are feeling safer,” Wander said. “They are a lot more comfortable with not coming to Israel. I always said that Kamala Harris was the Aliyah candidate. Antisemitism has exploded in recent years, and the Biden administration has done nothing to stop this rising tide. Open antisemitism is accepted in the Democratic party.”

First Trans Member of Congress is Pro-Israel. Driving the Left Bonkers

It drives the Left bonkers that Senator John Fetterman is a champion of Leftist ideas but is staunchly pro-Israel.  Today we find another item driving the Left crazy;  the first transgender member of Congress (a man who dresses as a woman) is also pro-Israel.  The LGBTQ news should be blowing up balloons and cheering in the streets for such an “amazing” feat, but instead they can’t celebrate because the tranny supports Israel.  And everyone knows that to be a TRUE leftist you have to hate Israel and side with the Arabs of Palestine…it’s just a demonic fact!

Left-wing activists are condemning Sarah McBride, a Democrat from Delaware who earlier this month became the first transgender person elected to the US Congress, for previously expressing support for Israel. 

McBride, who was born male but now identifies as female, has a history of expressing support for Israel’s right to self-defense and sympathy for the victims of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas’s massacre across southern Israel last Oct. 7.

Upon discovering the lawmaker’s past public support of Israel, left-wing advocates slammed McBride, arguing that a “queer” politician should empathize with the plight of the Palestinians and adopt a stridently “anti-Zionist” stance. Progressives also slammed McBride for placing an “emphasis on Israeli safety” and taking a hard-line position against Iran, which US intelligence agencies have for years identified as the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism.

Anti-Israel activists have especially taken umbrage at the transgender lawmaker for repeatedly affirming Israel’s right to “defend itself” and referring to Hamas’s Oct. 7 invasion of the Jewish state as a “terrorist attack.” McBride has also rankled some left-wing advocates by calling for the release of the American hostages in Hamas-ruled Gaza and expressing support for continuing the transfer of US aid to Israel.

“Congress will most likely have the first trans member in history after November and she’s a zionist, beyond parody lmao,” one user wrote on X/Twitter.

“Don’t hate sarah Mcbride because she’s a trans woman, hate her because she’s a raging zionist,” another progressive posted.

“My take on Sarah McBride: I’d rather have 100 cıshetero congressmen who are anti-zionist than one trans woman who is a zionist. Identity politics shouldn’t matter at all when the stakes are genocidal,” another anti-Israel advocate said.

Over the course of McBride’s political career, which included serving in the Delaware state Senate, the lawmaker has adopted mainstream positions and rhetoric on Israel, undercutting expectations among certain corners of the ideological left that a transgender lawmaker should align with the radical fringes of the Democratic Party. Several activists on social media have argued that McBride’s parroting of so-called “Zionist talking points” represented a betrayal of the “queer” community. 

In an August 2023 interview with Jewish Insider, McBride demonstrated skepticism toward conditioning aid to Israel and “emphasized that federal law already contains protections to ensure that US aid ‘shouldn’t be used in ways that contradict our values.'” McBride also voiced “‘serious concerns about any policy that would single out Israel and treat it differently than other countries that we support through foreign aid’ or hold it ‘to a different standard.'”

McBride also expressed support for  the 2016 Memorandum of Understanding for US military aid to Israel, which included an increase of $8 billion in aid to the Jewish state.

During a debate for Congress in October, McBride said that “Israel without question has a right to defend itself against a terrorist attack like we saw on Oct. 7, to protect its citizens — and, in fact, it has a responsibility to protect its citizens — but it also has a responsibility to do that in the context of all applicable laws.”

McBride also vowed to seek avenues to advance Palestinian “security, economic security, and the right to self-determination.”

The publication Autostraddle, a self-described “news and entertainment site for LGBTQ+ women and other trans people,” published a story earlier this month headlined, “Sarah McBride Is a Zionist.”

“Even if Sarah McBride accomplishes other positive changes in Congress, even if her presence as a trans woman counteracts the rising transphobia in our country and her party, this will be tainted by her stance on Israel and the violence against Palestinians,” the author wrote to conclude the article. “I understand wanting a piece of good news after last week. But as long as McBride remains steadfast in her Zionism, I’ll be looking elsewhere.”

Putin Isn’t Bluffing

 Putin is not the kind of guy who’s gonna say, “you were right, I was wrong.  Sorry for this whole fiasco.”  No.  He’s warned the West that he won’t accept NATO on his door step anymore than we’d accept the Russian army making a massive base in Cuba including some nukes.  If he’s pushed into a corner he may decide to make good on his use of nukes rather than run away with his tail between his legs.

Serbia's president has issued a stark warning regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, claiming that Vladimir Putin is 'not bluffing' about the potential use of nuclear missiles. 

According to Serbian publication Novosti, President Aleksander Vucic, who is one of Putin's allies who claims to know the Russian leader 'very well', told journalists: 'Don't think that someone somewhere is bluffing, unfortunately, nobody is bluffing and, unfortunately, we are walking into mild disaster'. 

Vucic's ominous comment comes after Ukraine carried out its first strike on Russian territory with a US-supplied long-range missile on Tuesday - just days after the Biden administration gave Kyiv the green light despite fears it could escalate the conflict beyond control. 

Meanwhile, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Friday that there is a real risk of a global conflict breaking out after Russia fired a hypersonic intermediate-range ballistic missile at a Ukrainian city.

Putin had said on Thursday that the strike was a response to the U.S. and UK allowing Kyiv to strike Russian territory with advanced Western weapons, a move he said had given the conflict 'elements of a global character'.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy called the Russian missile strike another escalation after deployment of North Korean troops on Russian soil.

Will Trump Discharge Trans Soldiers?

It’s one thing to pretend you’re a woman at a costume party or running around your house.  It’s a much more dangerous thing to pretend you’re man in the military when really you’re a woman.  What kind of masculine soldier wants to figure out your pronouns?  Do you really want this guy covering your back in a battle for life and death?  No.  The military has serious morale problems and Trump may very well turn the military away from its “wokeness”.  I sure hope he does!  These people need psychiatric help and the military is NOT where they should be looking for it.

Donald Trump is planning an executive order that would lead to the removal of all transgender members of the US military, defence sources say.

The order could come on his first day back in the White House, January 20. There are believed to be about 15,000 active service personnel who are transgender. They would be medically discharged, which would determine that they were unfit to serve.

It would also lead to a ban on trans people joining the military and would come at a time when almost all branches of the American armed forces are failing to meet recruitment targets.

Does Trump's Election Push Things Back to "Normal"?

 Many of us Trump voters are still kind of pinching ourselves every morning as we realize that it's true.  Trump really won!  So it was a surprise to us but NOT to God.  He already knew the results before the votes were cast.

So does this back us up a few years as far as the nearness of the rapture?

Absolutely not.

Jesus said that people would be eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage.  He also said that the people of Sodom were eating, drinking, planting and building.  No one had any clue that things were about to change in a big, big way!

One could argue that the election of Trump might put us MORE in the direction of eating, drinking, planting, building, marrying and giving in marriage. One could further ague that if Kamala had been elected that the USA might have more quickly devolved in chaos...so people wouldn't have continued planting, building, marrying and giving in marriage.  And remember that when the USA collapses it will drag the entire global financial system down with it.  If this happens BEFORE the rapture then there would be much less eating, drinking, planting, building and marrying.

Not sure if that makes sense to y'all but here are some other thoughts on the topic from Rapture Ready.

On the Edge of Suddenly

In just the past few weeks, we have witnessed a dizzying array of signs pointing to the nearness of the Tribulation and, thus, to the Rapture, which happens before it begins. The world lies breathtakingly close to the start of the catastrophic conditions described throughout Revelation 6, and yet God’s judgments seem mysteriously paused.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8, Paul explains why the world can rest on the edge of cataclysmic events and yet escape the dire consequences of what surely lies ahead:

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.”

Revelation 6 begins with the antichrist riding throughout the world on a white horse, but this can’t happen until the Lord removes His restraining hand, which for now keeps him from unveiling his true nature. The restricting force is the Holy Spirit’s presence in true believers through which He not only holds back the man of lawlessness, but also the start of all we read about in Revelation 6.

After the Rapture, the beast will be free to ride.

Closer to the Edge of Destruction

Just this month, we have witnessed events that have brought the world closer to the time when we will watch the Lord open the seven seals. What follows are but a couple of examples of this.

On Sunday, November 17, President Biden took the world a giant step closer to a nuclear world war by allowing Ukraine to fire U.S. missiles into Russia, which happened two days later. As I write, we await Vladimir Putin’s response. Will he carry through on his threats of a nuclear response? If nothing else, the President’s decision has put many people on edge and will surely escalate the war, resulting in the deaths of many more people.

And just this past week, the U.S. debt total passed the thirty-six trillion-dollar mark. There’s no rational explanation for why the American economy hasn’t completely collapsed with worldwide implications that align with Revelation 6:5-6.

Suddenly

How does this seeming delay fit with Bible prophecy? 1 Thessalonians 5:3 reveals that when the world falls off the edge into the coming series of catastrophic events, it will happen abruptly and unexpectedly:

“While people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”

In a moment, everything will change. The word normal will remain in dictionaries, but any sense of normality will instantly disappear.

As New Testament saints, we will disappear in the “twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52). The Lord will instantly change our mortal bodies into ones that will never perish or grow old. We will immediately experience the eternal life that we now possess through faith.

Our departure alone will cause a rapid deterioration of any remaining sense of calm and result in great chaos throughout the world. I believe that the antichrist will begin his crusade for peace in the weeks or perhaps months after the Rapture.

Revelation 1:1 provides us with another indication of just how quickly world conditions will deteriorate.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place.

The Greek word for “soon” in this verse is tachos, which more often denotes the speed or quickness of an action. John is not saying that the prophecies of the apocalypse would happen soon, at least with how we reckon time, but rather that they would happen quickly. Like a large boulder rolling downhill, they will happen with increased speed and intensity.

Yes, the Bible tells us that the Tribulation will last seven years, beginning with a peace agreement between the Antichrist and Israel. However, the Day of the Lord will begin suddenly and continue with a series of judgments that will continue in rapid-fire succession. The experience of “sudden destruction” will repeat over and over again through the Tribulation.

The Warning

Everywhere we look, we see precursors to the fulfillment of so many things that we read about in the book of Revelation and, in particular, chapters 6 and 13. As a result, some mistakenly believe that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are already riding through the earth. I believe the Lord is allowing the world to see glimpses of what lies ahead as a warning of what’s to come.

At the moment, the world is speeding down the road to a nuclear war. Could we be hours, days, or weeks away from the “sudden destruction” that will inaugurate the Day of the Lord after we are safely in Heaven with Jesus? Yes, we are that close to the Lord’s appearing. Or might He continue to restrain the forces that He has allowed to take the world to the edge of suddenly?

If nothing else, the events of the past few weeks should be a wake-up call of just how quickly our lives can instantly change. I know that many in the world still cling to the belief that normality will prevail, but what about the church?

Sadly, many saints plan for their future with no thought of the Lord’s nearing intervention in their future aspirations nor with any consideration of the warning that comes from James 4:13-17.

Trump Picks Openly Gay Man for Secretary of the Treasury

 We don't have a whole lot of problems with Trump picking a married, gay man who shares two sons with his husband and lives in North Carolina.  The financial markets seem to be cheering Trump's pick, Scott Bessent, and has already reached new record highs.  America certainly didn't elect Trump to be America's religious and moral leader.  We elected him to get the job done that he promised he would.

But here is an interesting tidbit found buried in an article from Hindustan Times reporting on Bessent news.  Also please notice that Trump understands the importance of keeping the US Dollar as the world's ONLY RESERVE CURRENCY.

In a statement, Trump hauled Bessent, a financial advisor and significant contributor to Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, as “one of the world's foremost international investors and geopolitical and economic strategists.”

Trump expressed his unwavering backing for the America First agenda and called Bessent's journey “the American dream.” On the occasion of America's 250th anniversary, Trump said that Bessent would assist the United States enter a new era by strengthening its position in the global economy and guaranteeing that the dollar would continue to be the world's reserve currency.

Along with Bessent, Trump promised to “make America rich again, prosperous again, affordable again, and, most importantly, great again.”

If approved by the Senate, Bessent, who resides mostly in Charleston, North Carolina, with his husband and two sons, would become the first openly gay Secretary of the Treasury.

John Freeman, a former prosecutor in New York City, is openly gay and stated in an interview that he had aspirations of attending the Naval Academy as a young man, but he decided to not hide his sexual orientation.

According to reports, Bessent's affiliation with Trump is a recent development as the former employee of George Soros has not been overtly a Republican.

Bessent, however, has been acquainted with the Trump family for decades, including Fred Trump, the real estate tycoon and father of Donald Trump.

In an interview with Yale Alumni Magazine in 2015, Bessent stated, “If you had told me in 1984, when we graduated [from Yale], and people were dying of AIDS, that 30 years later I’d be legally married and we would have two children via surrogacy, I wouldn’t have believed you.”
