Iran Continues to Re-arm Terrorists

 No big surprise here.  Even after Israel and USA pummeled their network, the Persians are hell-bent on arming their satanic adversaries in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and wherever else Muslim terrorists dream of killing all the Jews and destroying Western Civilization.

But please remember...it's a religion of peace. 😏

Despite significant setbacks following Israeli strikes that killed key military leaders and US attacks on its nuclear facilities, Iran is accelerating efforts to rearm its militia allies across the Middle East, according to a Wall Street Journal report published on Friday.

However, Tehran has vehemently denied these allegations, with Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei calling claims of weapons shipments to Yemen “baseless.”

The US and Israeli strikes on Iranian assets this spring have taken a toll on Tehran's regional influence. Yet, Iran is moving quickly to replenish its stockpiles and continue supporting proxy groups in the region, particularly the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Despite the denials from Tehran, there is mounting evidence that Iran continues to send military aid to these groups, demonstrating its determination to retain influence over its militia allies.

This week, forces aligned with Yemen’s internationally recognized government intercepted a large shipment of advanced military equipment, including missiles, drone parts, and warheads, intended for the Houthi rebels along the Red Sea coast. The seizure was carried out by the National Resistance Force, a coalition of military groups aligned with the Yemeni government.

The shipment was hidden aboard a dhow and was concealed under crates of air conditioners, a tactic used to avoid detection. Among the advanced military gear was Iranian-developed Qader antiship missiles and parts for the Saqr air-defense system, both of which have been used by the Houthis in attacks against US drones.

The US Central Command, responsible for US military operations in the Middle East, confirmed that this was the National Resistance Force’s largest-ever seizure of Iranian conventional weapons, totaling 750 tons of advanced military supplies.

According to reports, these included cruise missiles, warheads, targeting components, and drone engines. This is the largest interception of Iranian weapons heading to Yemen to date.

Cool!  The largest interception of Iranian weapons EVER!  That's gotta hurt their pocket books as their economy continues to struggle.  I know that most Iranians don't want to be ruled by the Mullahs so pray that Christ continues to move greatly in their nation and that Satan's plans to lead them all to hell via Islam will be thwarted.

The Jewish Feasts That Will be Fulfilled When Christ Returns

 Most of my readers likely understand that God gave Israel 7 feasts that they were supposed to commemorate.  4 happened in the spring and 3 happened in the fall.  Of course everything God does has meaning and these feasts were to remind the Jews of where they had been but also were a foreshadowing of the coming Messiah.  

When Jesus came the first time he fulfilled the 4 spring feasts.  When he comes again he will fulfill the 3 fall feasts.  

An interesting side note;  when Jesus spoke of his return he said “no man knows the day or the hour”.  His Jewish listeners would have recognized that phrase because it is linked with the Feast of Trumpets called Rosh Hashanah.  This feast is to commemorate the Jewish New Year and they used a lunar calendar to track time. Two witnesses stood on top of the wall and when they could see the first sliver of the new moon they would blow their trumpets to announce that the new year had come. But of course they didn’t know the day or the hour they would actually see the new moon and blow the trumpets.  So all Israel would watch and wait while looking to the sky and listening for the trumpet blasts. It could be Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday and it could happen anytime you can see the moon in the sky starting at sunset on Monday.

Most watchers understand that this feast will be fulfilled at the rapture.  Paul tells us that those who are watching “won’t be surprised”.

This year the Feast of Trumpets starts at Sunset on September 22 and goes through September 24…we don’t know the hour or the day but just maybe we should spend those days lifting up our heads because “our redemption is near”.  Certainly we are seeing “all these things beginning to happen.”

     This joyful festival celebrating God's provision and dwelling with his people in the wilderness is seen as a picture of the millennial reign of Christ on earth when he will dwell with his people in a new heaven and a new earth. 

Israel Strikes Damascus

 When you see the words "Israel" and "Damascus" in the same headline it's automatically blogworthy and necessary to post.  As most of my readers know the Isaiah 17 prophecy about the Destruction of Damascus seems to be in the making.  

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel on Wednesday conducted airstrikes in downtown Damascus, the Syrian capital.

The Israeli military said the targets included Syria's military headquarters in Damascus as well as another military target near the Syrian presidential palace.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz posted a video on X of a TV news live shot in Damascus in which a building is seen exploding behind the presenter. "The painful strikes have begun," Katz wrote.

Syria's Health Ministry said one person was killed and 28 injured from the strikes.

The strikes came amid ongoing tensions in southwest Syria, home to the minority Druze, whose community straddles the border between Israel-occupied Golan Heights and Syria. The Syrian military joined Bedouin militias in clashes against the Druze.

Israel struck the Syrian military there on Monday and Tuesday in what they said was an effort to protect the Druze and keep the Syrian side of the border demilitarized.

Earlier Wednesday, U.S. special envoy to Syria Tom Barrack said the administration condemned the violence in southern Syria's city of Sweida and called on all parties to de-escalate and negotiate a ceasefire.

What’s Up With Trump World and the Epstein Files

 There are lots of things rattling the “facts” about Epstein right now.  There are some saying that Epstein worked for Israel’s CIA called Mossad.  They say it was Israel’s plan to catch all sorts of powerful men in a sex trap that they could use for leverage.  Epstein was Jewish.  Of course Israel vehemently denies this.

Some are saying that Epstein never killed himself and want to know who did?  And now the FBI is coming out and saying “he did kill himself”.  

Trump promised to release the files.  Now he’s saying “let’s leave this topic alone”.  This has really fired up a lot of his MAGA supporters in not a good way.

It’s a blog-worthy topic because we can see Israel getting the finger pointed at them again while antisemitism explodes.  We also can see “the nations in turmoil” as Trump continues being Trump and the unity and positive excitement that has been happening since Election Day seems to have had the breath knocked out of it.

And lastly, I’ve seen some money people and currency experts saying that this whole Epstein affair, if the whole truth came out, could implode the global financial system and now that Trump realizes that he’s trying to keep it all under wraps.  Interesting times for sure!

The DoJ announces that Epstein did not keep a client list, and said no more files related to his sex-trafficking investigation would be made public. The department releases an 11-hour video of the scene outside Epstein’s cell during hours before and after his death, showing that no one entered or left the room. But a minute of footage is missing, prompting further speculation. Bondi says the missing minute is due to the Bureau of Prisons resetting the video.

7 July

Rightwing media and commentators begin to lash out at the DoJ. Laura Loomer, the 32-year-old conspiracy theorist whose influence over Trump has come under scrutiny, accuses Bondi of “covering up child sex crimes”. “NO ONE IS BUYING THIS!! Next the DOJ will say ‘Actually, Jeffrey Epstein never even existed.’ This is over the top sickening,” Alex Jones, the rightwing commentator and conspiracy theorist, writes on social media. On Truth Social, the rightwing, Trump-owned platform where people are usually united in their praise for the president and his administration, numerous users criticize the government over Epstein.

9 July

Dan Bongino, the deputy director of the FBI who spent years pushing conspiracy theories about Epstein’s death, reportedly clashes with Bondi at the White House. Bondi accused Bongino of leaking to news outlets, after NewsNation reported that the FBI had wanted to release more information on Epstein “months ago”, but was prevented from doing so.

11 July 

NBC News reports that Bongino is considering stepping down from his post at the FBI amid the Bondi row.

“Bongino is out-of-control furious,” a source told NBC News said. “This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit and torch Pam unless she’s fired.”

12 July

Trump writes a lengthy Truth Social post pleading with his supporters.

“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein.”

Trump adds: “One year ago our Country was DEAD, now it’s the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World. Let’s keep it that way, and not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.”

The post is the first time Trump has been “ratioed” on Truth Social: more people comment on the post than like it, which typically suggests disagreement.

Houthis Say Even a Nuclear Strike From Israel Won't Stop Them

 There are millions of Muslims around the world who dream of the day when all Jews are dead and Israel ceases to exist.  My liberal friends always say that such hopes only apply to the extremist Muslims.  They almost always go on to say that there are Christian extremists too...."Just look at the inquisition that happened!"  They want to to take an event from 500 years ago done by the Catholics trying to stop the spread of Islam.  What a joke.  More people were killed by Boko Haram in the last year than 100 years of inquisitions.

Today we read that the Houthis of Yemen will never stop dreaming of destroying Israel.  They say that even if a nuke is dropped on them by Israel they won't cease.

A senior Houthi official confirmed that the Yemen-based terror group will continue attacking Israel even after the fighting in Gaza ends, pledging that it is fully committed to destroying the Jewish state.

Hebrew-language news site Ynet recently made contact with a Houthi official.

Despite a general policy not to engage with Israeli media, the unnamed Houthi leader spoke at length with the outlet.

“We want Israel wiped out and the Al-Aqsa Mosque purified,” the official told Ynet.

He urged Israelis to “leave” the country, which he described as a “Satanic project.”

The official stressed that the Houthis view the conflict with Israel as an “existential struggle,” adding that there was no amount of Yemeni casualties that would persuade the group to stop attacking the Jewish state.

The IDF has carried out numerous strikes against Houthi strongholds, but the terror group has continued to target strategic sites in Israel.

Notice how the Al-Aqsa mosque is mentioned.  We have blogged recently about the red heifer and how the Muslims are getting very worried about the Jews building a 3rd Temple and sacrificing a red heifer as part of the preparation for it.

More evidence that Satan can see we are in the very Last Days and is prepping his followers in Islam to prevent the building of the 3rd Temple.

Competitive Sex is the Headline in US Magazine

I keep thinking of Romans 1 when I see perversion manifest in women, “even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones”.  I think we all know that men are prone to perversion.  And as a society crumbles in disobedience and rebellion to God the men grow more perverted.  But when it’s near the bottom of the barrel, “even their women” become perverted.

This article comes from US Magazine that used to be in every dentist and doctor office across America.  The article speaks of women who are having sex with hundreds of men in a day.  Of course they are doing it because they make $millions by their web followers signing up to watch them do it.  

I think of these women as little girls and wonder how they could become so disgusting to smile while hundreds of men wait in line to violate them.  I wonder if their parents are proud of them.  I wonder how they got so far away from their creator that “God gave them over to shameful lusts.”

Putin Sides With Zero Enrichment for Iran

We aren’t sure HOW this is interesting from a prophetic point of view except to say that Russia and Iran are in the same headline and cooperating on something.  Maybe Russia is going to play the “peace with Israel” card and get Israel’s enemies to back down.  Maybe this will be part of the “peace agreement” that the Antichrist will confirm?  Maybe this is part of the play up to, “while they are saying ‘peace and safety’ destruction will come upon them suddenly.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Trump, Macron, and Iranian officials he supports a nuclear deal banning uranium enrichment in Iran, reports Axios.

The Kremlin may be interested in preserving Iranian drone production capabilities for its war with Ukraine. Or possibly, the move could be an olive branch to the Trump administration for use in negotiations for peace in Ukraine.

Despite Moscow’s public support for Tehran’s enrichment rights, Putin has privately urged Iran to accept “zero enrichment” since the recent Israel-Iran war. Russian officials reportedly conveyed this message to both Iran and Israel, added Axios.

The U.S. is also expected to demand zero enrichment in any future nuclear talks. However, Iran insists on keeping enrichment rights.

Why is Israel Prophetically Important Today?

 Sadly, even many Evangelical churches are starting to teach that modern-day Israel has nothing to do with anything regarding prophecy.  She is no different than Norway or Italy.  We know this isn’t a salvation issue but I don’t think I could attend such a church.  It is so amazing to watch Israel and see red heifers and Temples and watch how the entire world is starting to turn on that tiny nation.  And how about antisemitism rising everywhere?  How can you make sense of all this unless you understand that Israel is at the center of prophecy and the promises made to her by God did NOT transfer to the church.  If God can break his “forever” promises to Israel then why couldn’t He break his salvation promises to us today?

Why Is Modern Israel Prophetically Significant?

Most churches today believe that Israel’s existence doesn’t matter in regard to Bible prophecy. The popular message is that the Church is now biblical Israel and that modern-day Israel is no different than any other nation with the same challenges and threats to its existence.

I can think of many reasons why such a dismissal of Israel’s prophetic significance is wholly unbiblical; here are a few of them:

The Lord’s Many Promises to Restore a Kingdom to Israel

The Old Testament prophets repeatedly predicted a future restoration of Israel with a descendant of David reigning over it. In Zephaniah 3:20, the Lord made this key promise to the nation:

“’At that time I will bring you in,
at the time when I gather you together;
for I will make you renowned and praised
among all the peoples of the earth,
when I restore your fortunes
before your eyes,’ says the Lord.”

At no time since the Lord spoke these words through the prophet have the Jewish people occupied such a place of honor among the “peoples of the earth.” It’s been exactly the opposite.

Notice the permanence of the restoration that the Lord promises Israel through the Prophet Amos:

“’I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,
and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,
and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
I will plant them on their land,
and they shall never again be uprooted
out of the land that I have given them,’
says the Lord your God” (Amos 9:14-15).

With words that can only apply to Jacob’s descendants, God promises a lasting restoration with many physical blessings. How can these words even remotely apply to the church today apart from doing great damage to the understanding Lord intended for them at the time He spoke them through Amos?

When the disciples asked Jesus if He intended to “at this time restore the kingdom to Israel,” He didn’t chide them for asking a foolish question or deny that it would happen someday. Instead, He told them that their timing was wrong and turned their attention to the task ahead for them (Acts 1:6-8).

The Bible Predicted the Israel that We See Today

What we see in modern Israel aligns perfectly with what the prophets wrote about the nation in the last days. God’s Word predicted that:

• Israel would become a nation again “in one day” (Isaiah 66:8).
• Israel would initially exist in a state of unbelief (Ezekiel 37:1-14).
• The nations would seek to divide the Land of Israel and mistreat the Jewish people (Joel 3:1-3).
• Jerusalem would attract the world’s attention (Zechariah 12:3).
• Israel would build a temple while still in a state of unbelief (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15).
• Rather than rely on God for protection, Israel would agree to a covenant with the antichrist (Daniel 9:26-27; Isaiah 28:14-18).

All of the above prophecies align perfectly with what we see today. Israel miraculously became a nation in one day on May 14, 1948, and while many believers live there, the majority of its people still reject Jesus as their Messiah. The passion for building a third temple grows by the day, which the Bible tells us will be in place by the midpoint of the seven-year Tribulation when the antichrist will desecrate it.

As I was working on this article, Israel announced that it had two red heifers that qualified for the purifying of the temple and practiced offering it upon an altar.

God’s Steadfast Love Guarantees a Future for Israel

Third, God’s “steadfast love” also verifies that He has not replaced Israel with the church. He cannot renege on the solemn promises He made to Jacob’s descendants.

The Hebrew word for “steadfast love” is chesed. Some Bible versions translate it as “lovingkindness” or simply “kindness.” The full meaning of the word is difficult to convey with just one word or phrase. It denotes the Lord’s enduring covenant relationship with His people, including His never-ending faithfulness and unfailing love for them.

The essence of chesed is a permanent and long-lasting covenant that depends on God’s faithfulness, not that of His people. The Lord never lets go of His own. In the Old Testament, it denoted the permanence of His relationship with the Jewish people. This does not imply that every descendant of Jacob will inherit eternal life, not at all, but that God will never forget His promises to the nation and its people. The Land belongs to them via an “everlasting covenant” (Psalm 105:7-11).

The Good News for Us

God’s steadfast love for His own is exceedingly good news for us. As saints redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we also have a covenant relationship with God. Hebrews 9:14-15 says that Christ “is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.”

As such, we also fall under the umbrella of chesed, God’s covenant love for His own. In our case, it’s not with a nation or particular race of people but with all who trust Jesus alone for eternal life.

Just as with Israel, God will never let us go; we are eternally secure. Ephesians 1:13-14 says we “were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”

Israel indeed matters to Bible prophecy. We dare not confuse it with the church because it matters in our understanding of Bible prophecy, God, the times in which we live, and our secure position in Christ as justified saints.

God’s love for us is permanent (chesed); He never lets go of His own. He never reneges on His promises to them. Never!

The words of David in Psalm 40:11 apply to all who belong to the Lord:

As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain
your mercy from me;
your steadfast love [chesed] and your faithfulness will
ever preserve me!
