Imminent Prophecy Against Iran Shaping Up?

USA and Israel seem to be prepping for an attack on Iran.  As you can read below there is an interesting prophecy in Jeremiah 49 that appears to not have been fulfilled yet but quite possibly could be shaping up right before our eyes!  Even so, come Lord Jesus!

At the outset of this week’s commentary, I want to give much attribution to my good friend Bill Salus. He has done tremendous work on bringing information to the forefront of understanding likely prophetic developments in the general geographical region surrounding Israel.

In particular, his research and writing about the movement toward prophetic fulfillment of Iran’s destiny with regard to that regime’s hatred for Israel is obviously, I think, Holy Spirit-directed. I recommend his great books about prophecy involving Israel in these last days.

I have relied heavily in writing this article on material from Bill’s book The Now Prophecies. His treatment, especially in the matter of the foretelling of Iran (ancient Persia) and its coming against God’s chosen people, Israel, is to me almost prescient in its discernment of where we stand exactly at this late hour of the end of the age.

At this moment, there is, according to those who observe likely imminent military action of a major sort, a building force whose intent is to fulfill Israel’s Prime Minister’s and America’s President’s collective pledge. Both Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald J. Trump have vowed that Iran’s terrorist-spawning regime, which has nuclear development facilities deeply within a mountainous area — will never have an atomic weapon. The following news item explains the nature and extent of these leaders preparing to fulfill that pledge.

(Worthy News) – The U.S. has extended the USS Harry S. Truman’s Red Sea deployment, dispatched another carrier to the Middle East, and deployed five B-2 stealth bombers to Diego Garcia—signaling that military strikes on Iran may be imminent as President Trump’s ultimatum to Iran’s Supreme Leader over its nuclear program looms.

While media attention has centered on “Signal Gate”—where leftist Atlantic journalist Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly added to a Trump administration group chat on the current actions of the U.S. military against Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen—the U.S. military has been quietly ramping up its regional buildup.

The joint UK-U.S. base at Diego Garcia—key in past campaigns like Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003)—is once again seeing a buildup, signaling possible preparations for airstrikes in the Middle East.

At least five B-2 stealth bombers have arrived at Diego Garcia, joining four already stationed there, with more reportedly en route.

Satellite imagery shared on social media revealed three C-17 cargo planes and 11 KC-135 refueling tankers were also deployed to Diego Garcia within the past 48 hours, underscoring the base’s strategic role as a U.S. staging ground for a potential strike against Iran and supporting the current Trump administration’s actions against the Houthis…

The increased military presence in the Middle East serves as an active warning to Iran, whose Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei received a two-month ultimatum from Donald Trump last week.

Also taking place this week, senior U.S. and Israeli officials are holding high-level talks concerning Iran’s nuclear program in Washington. For literally years, the reports have been that Iran is on the very brink of having a working nuclear weapon. This within a radical Islamic regime that has declared they will destroy completely both the great Satan and the little Satan –meaning America and Israel. So it has been, to many –including me—the question: why, if Iran was so close to developing such lethality, has not action been taken to make sure atomic weaponry never is held in the hands of the satanically insane Ayatollahs?

This action by this president –moving such massively lethal assets into that region at this time looks to be indeed the quickly approaching moment of truth. This president means business as has no president since Ronald Reagan, in my view. This time, I think Iran –that ancient area of Persia—is near the moment of having usable atomic weaponry. This will not be allowed to stand. Neither by Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Trump –nor, if this is the time of fulfillment, more importantly, by the God of Heaven, who gave Jeremiah the prophet this to prophesy:

“The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might. Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all those winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go. For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the LORD; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them. I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the LORD. ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the LORD” (Jeremiah 49:34-39, NKJV).

My friend Bill Salus, in his excellent book of several years ago, The Now Prophecies, wrote the following:

Summarizing the Elam prophecy

In this prophecy, Jeremiah declares that a time would arrive when the Lord would be furious with the leadership of Iran. We know this because Jeremiah 49:38 says that the kings and the princes will be destroyed. This most likely represents the Iranian government in place when the prophecy occurs. The Lord would never destroy good kings and princes, so we can safely presume that bad Iranian leadership is the problem…

But why is the Lord fiercely angry with the government of Iran at the time of the prophecy? The reason is because Iran wants to launch something powerful somewhere. This is why the Lord will break the bow at the foremost of Iran’s might in order to prevent such a lethal launch.

But where does Iran want to launch something powerful? Apparently, it wasn’t Iraq because the Lord didn’t prevent scores of Iranian missiles from landing in Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988. Thus, it must be somewhere else, perhaps Israel. The prophecy doesn’t tell us specifically where, but it does tell us that Iran has enemies, plural, when the prophecy happens.

This qualifies Israel today because Iran has declared on numerous occasions that it wants to wipe Israel off of the map. Thus, it is safe to say that Israel and Iran are presently enemies. Should Iran get nuclear weapons, the destruction of Israel becomes a strong possibility. Even the attempted destruction of Israel is not something the Lord will tolerate! With fulfillment of such earth-shattering Bible prophecy in view, and with all other end times signals bursting forth all around this generation, the most profound of all prophecies prior to the Second Advent of our Lord must be near fulfillment indeed!

Can America Be Saved From Itself

 Clearly, America deserves destruction.  We’ve killed more babies, consumed more illegal drugs and delivered more porn to the world than even be counted.  At the same time our churches are closing while the others that are still open are preaching a false gospel.  This once “God fearing” nation no longer believes that the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the God Jesus Christ, have anything to do with anything anymore.

A recent study shows that over 60% of Americans no longer believe that God has any effect on their lives. Even more troubling, nearly half of self-identified Christians —and 40% of born-again Christians— believe the same thing.

George Barna, director of research at Arizona Christian University, didn’t mince words: “…nothing short of sweeping national repentance and spiritual renewal can save America from itself.”

Why the spiritual void?

This massive decline in Biblical worldview can be traced back to the cultural revolution of the 1960s. The radical redefinition of marriage, family, and sexuality had a profound impact on America. Divorce, premarital sex, abortion, and alternative sexual lifestyles started to become normalized. Simultaneously, biblical teaching on the same topics was dismissed as outdated or oppressive.

The result? Many left the church they’d grown up in and became “nones.” “Nones” aren’t necessarily atheists, but they don’t hold to a defined sense of religion. They consider themselves “spiritual” while shunning religious commitments, repentance, and a relationship with God.

Many churches addressed the decline in attendance by trying to attract the “nones” back. The result was an emphasis on flashy programs and catchy music instead of solid preaching and teaching. The fundamentals of repentance, salvation, growth as a Christian were also watered down.

Today, many who sit in pews may never hear a message about the importance of salvation or the necessity of God’s commands. Too many congregations “welcome all” without expecting any sort of change to take place through the power of the gospel.

A New Generation Awakens

While interest in God is declining for Boomers (60- to 80-year-olds), Gen X (44- to 60-year-olds), and even Millennials (29- to 44-year-olds) Christianity is making a surprise comeback among Gen Z (13- to 28-year-olds).

The younger generation is hungry for truth, hope and purpose — something the world can't offer. Mark Woods of the Bible Society explains that “there’s a very clear increase in demand” for Bibles among Gen Z because young people are realizing that the Bible has something important to say to them. And they’re hungry for it.

Gen Z adults have grown up in a post-Christian culture with parents and grandparents who were products of the cultural revolution of the 1960’s. But instead of adopting the mantra that “all we need is love,” Gen Z seems to be drawn to the wisdom of Scripture, the promise of salvation, and the call to live a life of purpose and meaning. They want more than “peace, love, and happiness” — they want the truth.

The youngest adult generation is searching for something more than the secular “answers” they’ve been fed. As Bible believers, we have the answers they need. Hungary Stands With Israel

 This is great news!  Hungary is ignoring the International Criminal Court’s ruling and welcoming Netanyahu for a visit.  Of course I believe Jesus is coming soon, but if he doesn’t there is going to be a divide in the global order.  Those who stand with Israel and those who would love to see her destroyed.  Jesus will one day judge the nations for how they treated Israel.  We aren’t quite sure what that looks like since all individuals will stand in judgement.  Who is going to represent the nation and how do they get judged?  We will try and find the answer and post it when we do.  But as of today it would appear that Hungary is in for a blessing.

Hungary will withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), its government said Wednesday, as the country’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban welcomed Israeli Prime Minister and ICC fugitive Benjamin Netanyahu to Budapest.

Speaking alongside Netanyahu in Budapest, Orban said his government decided to leave the court because it has become “a political tool.”

“This very important court has been diminished to a political tool and Hungary wishes to play no role in it,” Orban told reporters during the joint news conference.

Netanyahu praised the decision as “bold and principled,” praising Hungary for its “proud” support for Israel.

“This is important not just for us, but for all democracies … it’s important to stand up to this corrupt organization,” he said. The Israeli PM said he expects Hungary to be the first, but not last country to walk away from the court.

The leaders delivered their short statements without taking any questions.

Netanyahu’s visit to Hungary marked the first time the Israeli leader stepped foot on European soil since the ICC issued an arrest warrant against him and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as against three top officials of Hamas, in May 2024.

Sahara Used to Be a Lush Garden

 Clearly I’m not smart enough to understand what these scientists think they understand.  What’s all the fuss about climate change-global warming today if they KNOW the Sahara desert used to be a lush garden?  Don’t they realize that by reporting this finding, which happened before millions of cars and power plants were here, just makes most of us who read it say, “yeah, the world has been changing for a long time…and it’s going to continue to change.  Men aren’t causing climate change today anymore than men were causing the Sahara to turn into a desert.”

Currently a harsh, arid sandscape, it's hard to believe the Sahara was once studded with sparkling water bodies that nourished lush green savannas. But the remains of human pastoralists and their livestock have been found in the region's rock shelters.

"Evidence from ancient lake deposits, pollen samples, and archaeological artifacts confirm human presence, hunting, herding, and resource gathering in the currently arid desert region," Salem and team explain in their paper.

This shared Saharan human lineage took a different path from those in sub-Saharan Africa around the same time that modern humans first left the continent more than 50,000 years ago.

The lineage then remained relatively isolated for many thousands of years, with only small traces of genes entering from the Levantine region to the northeast – including some from  Neanderthals.

"Our findings suggest that while early North African populations were largely isolated, they received traces of Neanderthal DNA due to gene flow from outside Africa," says anthropologist Johannes Krause, from the Max Planck Institute in Germany.

The Takarkori individuals had less Neanderthal DNA than the Moroccan foragers, but significantly more than those from further south of Africa. That suggests that something stemmed the gene flow from Europe from spreading beyond the Sahara region.

Why Don’t Church Leaders Tell Their Congregations About Climate Change?

 This is a pretty funny article to read.  Clearly not written by a Bible believing follower of Christ.  You can spot it right away when they would even dream up researching and writing such a thing.  In their mind all Churches are the same and asking a Methodist lesbian ministress is the same as asking John McArthur.  They both are equal and tallied in the same way.

Let’s be clear.  Followers of Jesus care about water quality, lakes, streams, pheasant habitat and runoff of farm fields.  We are to care for God’s creation.  BUT we also know that God has everything under control and is not wringing his hands on the throne saying, “why are these people not understanding that cow farts are going to wipe them all out? Sigh…”

In fact Peter tells us that the whole thing is going to be burned up and that a new heaven and a new earth will be made!  We are much more concerned about eternal souls of men and being obedient to our Heavenly Father.  Liberals and “weak god” Christians who serve a transgender Jesus are royally freaking out that windmills, solar panels and Teslas haven’t been mandated along with fake meat and jail for ranchers.  Ooooo….funny how the godless who worshiped Tesla just a short time ago and even used them for virtue signaling…are now painting swastikas on them and vandalizing them in all sorts of crazy ways.

The Democrats/liberals/leftists are a group of people with very little hope.  If they ever stop screaming they need evangelizing.

Nearly 90% of U.S. Christian religious leaders believe humans are driving climate change. When churchgoers learn how widespread this belief is, they report taking steps to reduce its effects, as we found in our research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. 

We examined data collected in 2023 and 2024 from a nationwide survey of 1,600 religious leaders in the United States. The sample included religious leaders from fundamentalist and evangelical churches, Baptists, Methodists, Black protestants, Roman Catholic denominations and more – all recruited to match the proportions of churches across the country. The survey assessed religious leaders’ beliefs about climate change and whether they discuss climate change with their congregations.

According to that data, while the overwhelming majority of Christian religious leaders accept the human-driven reality of climate change, nearly half have never mentioned climate change or humans’ role in it to their congregations. Further, only a quarter have spoken about it more than once or twice. 

Why it matters

When it comes to climate change, faith communities are often seen as divided. There is an assumption that religious conservatism and climate skepticism go hand in hand. This assumption is based on religious beliefs such as that the Earth was created by God and therefore humans cannot and should not alter it, along with rejection of climate science and diminished concern about climate change.

We then surveyed a sample of Christian Americans from major denominations across the country and found they think roughly half of Christian leaders in the U.S., and in churches like their own, deny that humans cause climate change. Given the actual number is closer to 1 in 10 based on the data we examined, it appears Christians overestimate the prevalence of climate denial among their leaders by around five times the level found in polling.

Churchgoers who think their religious leaders don’t believe humans cause climate change report being less likely to discuss it with fellow congregants and less interested in attending events that aim to address climate change or raise awareness of the issue.

The research also tested what would happen if we informed churchgoers of the true level of consensus among their religious leaders who accept that climate change is driven by humans. In a brief survey, Christians were told the percentage of Christian leaders nationally, and among their denomination specifically, who accepted that human activities cause climate change. As a result, we found, their perceptions and attitudes toward climate change shifted in a variety of ways. 

Specifically, churchgoers who were informed about the actual consensus among religious leaders in accepting climate change were more likely to state that “taking action to reduce climate change” was consistent with their church’s values. 

Churchgoers who received this information were also more likely to feel it would be inconsistent with their church’s values to vote for a political candidate who opposes actions that could slow climate change.

These findings highlight that religious leaders have a unique power to influence climate action – but only if they let their beliefs be known.

What’s next

These findings are not focusing on what is going on in specific churches and denominations. We provided churchgoers only with information on the consensus of acceptance of human-made climate change among Christian religious leaders across the U.S. A natural next step is to conduct research with religious leaders to examine the impact of their communication directly with their congregations, including if they convey the consensus described in this work. 

Religious leaders, often viewed as moral guides, have the ability to reshape climate discourse within faith communities. If they vocalize their acceptance of human-made climate change, we believe they can correct widespread misperceptions, foster dialogue and encourage action in ways that secular authorities may struggle to achieve.

Iran Escalates Threats Against USA

As you all know, Iran is PERSIA in the Bible.  They have an Islamic hatred of USA and Israel.  Most world leaders believe if Iran got a nuclear bomb that they would use it.  Israel and USA will NOT allow that to happen.  Iran is getting close.  The war of words are beginning to fly.  Trump typically follows through on his threats.  Iran may have the capability to respond to US bombing them by attacking US bases in the Middle East.  This thing could go DEFCON 10 and be another step closer toward WWIII.  And guess what?  Maybe the church will be gone before it happens? 

Iran and the U.S. continued threatening each other, as tensions over the Trump administration’s push to reach an agreement over the Iranian nuclear program appear to be coming to a head.

Over the weekend, U.S. President Donald Trump issued his most violent threat, saying that if the two nations fail to reach an agreement, “there will be bombing. It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”

Last month, Trump reportedly sent a letter to the regime and proposed starting new nuclear talks, while threatening military action if the talks failed to reach a quick conclusion within two months.

Trump's most recent comment sparked outraged responses from several Iranian officials.

Holding a rifle during a televised speech marking the end of Ramadan, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said, “They threaten to attack us, which we don’t think is very probable, but if they commit any mischief, they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow.”

“If the enemies think they can instigate sedition within the country, the Iranian nation itself will respond to them,” he added.

Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Aerospace Division of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), directly threatened U.S. bases in the Middle East.

“The Americans have at least 10 bases with 50,000 troops in the region, meaning they are sitting in a glass room. Someone in a glasshouse should not throw stones at anyone,” he added.

This followed a report by The Telegraph that Iranian military officials have been calling for a preemptive strike on the U.S. base on Diego Garcia island in the Indian Ocean.

According to the Associated Press, in the past several days at least seven B-2 bombers were deployed to the base, which is about 3,800 kilometers (2,300 miles) from the Iranian border. Reports suggested the base could be used by the U.S. in the case of a military operation to destroy the regime’s nuclear sites.

“Discussions about the island have increased since the Americans stationed bombers there,” Iranian officials said. “The response to Trump's threats must come through action, not words. Every base in the region is within the range of our missiles.”

Analyst Warns of Financial Disaster Worse Than 2008

 Just think about it for a minute…before Trump term #2 we all KNEW that America couldn’t continue on its current path of printing/borrowing trillions per year.  We all KNEW that something, outside of business as usual, needed to change.  People are freaking out now because Trump IS changing things.  He’s trying to get rid of $billions of government waste with Musk and DOGE.  He’s also trying to bring back jobs to America by making foreign good more expensive by using tariffs.  He’s also trying to keep America afloat by shedding thousands of government jobs, because the government was literally printing paper to pay these people.

Everyone is crying “foul!  Stand against Trump and Musk!  We want our free money forever!  We want more government services forever!  We want free healthcare for life forever!  We want to finance our lives today on the backs of our kids forever!  Never change!  Just keep the money coming!”

Can the CEO of a company in trouble just borrow his way out?  Never.  Cuts and difficult decisions have to be made.  Business as usual won’t work because that’s how they got in trouble.  

So maybe Trump has been put on the throne to save America?  There will be pain as we are forced to diet and exercise but if we don’t it’s a certainty that we will die in our easy chair.

Of course the gold guys are going to issue dire warnings…and they may be right.  So the article below is blog-worthy because of the dire warnings for planet earth.  One can see how the rapture will blow up everything and spur the need for “anyone who has a plan!”   The times are ripening for the Antichrist.

Economist and gold advocate Peter Schiff issued a dire warning Monday, arguing that the U.S. is on the verge of a financial disaster that could eclipse the 2008 crisis. Sharing his concerns on social media platform X, Schiff criticized both government leaders and financial media for ignoring key economic indicators he believes are signaling serious trouble ahead. He likened the current situation to the lead-up to the global financial meltdown over 15 years ago, claiming that the same blindness and missteps are happening again.

He warned that new tariffs will disrupt trade flows and cause a chain reaction of inflationary pressures. Schiff stated:

Tariffs mean fewer goods will come into the country, and fewer dollars will go out. More money chasing fewer goods means higher domestic prices.

“This is an economic certainty. As import prices rise sharply, demand will increase for domestically produced goods, sending those prices higher too. Meanwhile, lower trade deficits will result in fewer dollars being recycled into U.S. bonds, sending long-term interest rates higher,” the economist added.

He explained that these developments would severely impact both consumers and financial markets. In addition, Schiff emphasized that fiscal policy decisions could worsen the downturn: “Higher consumer prices and long-term interest rates will combine to weaken the U.S. economy, increasing the size of federal budget deficits. Middle-class tax cuts will worsen the problem by not only adding to deficit spending but by directly fueling demand for a diminishing supply of goods.”

Russia Warns of Catastrophic Consequences if Trump Bombs Iran

 Iran wants a nuclear bomb.  Reminder to all;  their leaders are worshipping a demon-god they call Allah and his pedophile-prophet, Muhammad.  Also a big reminder that many of the Muslim leaders of Iran are called “twelvers”, because they believe the 12th imam, aka Mahdi, is going to return and they can help him quicken his return!  How?  By making the world into a catastrophe of death, disease and destruction.  

You don’t want these folks who chant death to America and death to Israel to acquire a nuclear bomb.  And maybe, if you were the leader of America and the leader of Israel, you might decide that your only option left to stop them, is to attack all their nuclear sites.  When this happens, it could spark lots of problems.

I wonder if there would be less consequences if Israel carried out the bombing?  It would certainly continue to turn the world against Israel. Which wouldn’t be a surprise since the Bible has said that’s how it will be in the very Last Days.

Russia has warned that strikes against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure would have “catastrophic” consequences, after US President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran unless it came to an agreement with Washington over its nuclear program.

“Threats are indeed being heard, ultimatums are also being heard,” Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the Russian journal “International Affairs” in an interview, extracts of which were published on Tuesday. “We consider such methods inappropriate, we condemn them, we consider them a way for [the US] to impose its own will on the Iranian side.”

Russia has for the most part refrained from sharp criticism of Trump, with whom President Vladimir Putin has moved quickly to repair relations in a rapprochement viewed with concern by Ukraine and its European allies.

The Kremlin has offered to mediate between the Trump administration and Iran, with which it signed a strategic partnership treaty in January.

Trump, in his first remarks since Iran rejected direct negotiations with Washington, told NBC News over the weekend that Tehran could face bombing and secondary tariffs if it did not reach an agreement over its nuclear program.

President of Turkey Implores Allah to Destroy Israel

 The world really doesn’t seem to care when Arabs are butchering other Arabs.  The college kids in America don’t put on Syrian scarfs and chant in the streets to stop the blood shed in Syria or any other Arab-Muslim nation.  The world, and the college kids, only make a big deal of Arab deaths when it’s the JEWS who are doing the killing.  Israel is surrounded by Muslims who openly say they want all Jews dead and they want every square inch of Israeli land.  In their twisted minds the Jews shouldn’t have a nation anywhere on earth.  

Today we read about President Erdogan asking his demon-god, Allah, to destroy Israel.  Kind of a big deal in that this whack job is the leader of Turkey which is a member of NATO.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar slammed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sunday, after the president expressed a desire for Israel’s destruction during a Ramadan prayer event.

The two countries had already sparred over the weekend following Turkey's criticism of Israel’s airstrikes in Lebanon, which were carried out in response to rocket attacks on Israeli territory.

After visiting a mosque to mark the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which celebrates the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Erdoğan told the crowd, “We see what is happening in Palestine. May Allah destroy Zionist Israel in his holy name.”

“We must see what is happening there, and therefore, we must unite, be strong, and be brothers here. May Allah always strengthen our unity.”

In response, Sa’ar wrote on 𝕏 that “dictator” Erdoğan had now “revealed his anti-Semitic face.”

“Erdogan is dangerous to the region, as well as to his own people, as has been proven in recent days. Let's hope that the NATO members understand this, and preferably, one hour earlier,” the foreign minister wrote.

This exchange followed a clash between the countries’ foreign ministries over the weekend. On Friday, two rockets were launched toward northern Israel from Lebanese territory.

Despite the Hezbollah terror group denying responsibility, Israel struck several targets, including in the capital, Beirut, an action that garnered criticismfrom Lebanon, France, the United Nations and Turkey.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes, saying they were “in violation of the ceasefire agreement” between Israel and Lebanon. However, the terms of the ceasefire required Hezbollah to fully withdraw from southern Lebanon and granted Israel the right to take unilateral action in response to serious violations of the agreement.

“These attacks have once again exposed Israel's flagrant disregard for international law and its ongoing threat to the region's security and stability. The international community must stand united against Israel's efforts to create a perpetual state of conflict in the region,” the Turkish statement read.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry, in turn, attacked Erdoğan on Saturday, noting the hypocrisy of preaching “lofty values to the international community” while he is “violently suppressing his own citizens and carrying out mass arrests of political opponents.”

Over the past week, Turkey saw mass protests after an Istanbul court ordered the arrest of Ekrem Imamoglu, the city's mayor and Erdoğan's main political rival.

“In Erdogan’s Turkey, there is no justice, no law, and no freedom. Israel does not need Erdogan’s ridiculous moral sermons. Israel acts to defend itself and its citizens against real threats and actual attacks – and it will continue to do so,” the Foreign Ministry stated.

“Might Decide the Future of America and Western Civilization"

If you live in MN and have watched TV in the last few weeks, it's likely that you have seen advertisements that have been spilling over from the Wisconsin Judge Election which is happening tomorrow, April 1.  For those of my readers who aren't from MN, I will tell you that the large TV stations of Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS are all based in Minneapolis-St Paul which is only a few miles from Hudson, WI.  So the candidates are using MN based stations to reach the WI voters.

I told my wife after seeing these commercials, "this must be a really big deal happening in WI because I don't ever recall seeing TV commercials for a WI judge election!"

Today, when I turned on Google News, they were all breathless and freaked out and then I saw this headline from The Hill and decided to blog on it.

Musk: Wisconsin Supreme Court race ‘might decide the future of America and Western Civilization’

Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Sunday stressed the importance of the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, saying it could determine “the future of America and Western Civilization.”

Musk reposted a report from a right-wing social media account suggesting if Democrats win the Supreme Court seat, they would “redraw up districts and add seats for Democrats.”

“1000%,” Musk wrote in response on the social platform X, which he owns. “What’s at issue here is control of the US House of Representatives.”

“This Wisconsin Supreme Court race might decide the future of America and Western Civilization!” he continued. “It’s a big deal.”

Musk’s remarks come just before he’s expected to speak at a town hall in Wisconsin, where voters will head to the polls on Tuesday to cast a vote in the closely watched Supreme Court race. Many voters have also opted to vote early or by absentee ballot.

Musk’s political and financial influence will be put to the test this week. He spent $12 million through his America PAC to support Brad Schimel over liberal candidate Susan Crawford in a race that will determine the partisan tilt on the state Supreme Court. Building America’s Future, a group that has previously received funding from Musk, added $4.7 million to the race.

The election has been seen as the first critical bellwether of President Trump’s second term, as Democratic energy appears to be growing on the grassroots level. Much of the attention has centered on Musk, whose role in the administration has received outsized attention and whose presence in the race has given fodder to Democrats supporting Crawford.

And now we understand what all the fuss is about!  The Liberals/Democrats hope that they can do some gerrymandering in order to get some of the WI districts redone and flip them to DFL all the time!  If they can do that, then Musk is saying that the US House is so closely split that if the Democrats from WI can send some more DFL Reps.

The left is going insane because Elon is in WI and he handed out a few million dollar checks to some folks who had already voted early for the Republican candidate.  

Of course the issue is....Left screams because it's illegal to buy votes!  Right says they aren't doing that!  Those folks already voted early!!

How much longer will this Republic of the USA stay together??  With thousands of Teslas being vandalized and Leftist protesters becoming more comfortable with violence...it might not last much longer!  

But we smile and have joy because the Lord is sovereign over all.

EU Publishes Delusional 72 Hour Bug-Out Bag as Prep for War

Here in America, maybe some of you have seen the new FEMA commercial which is telling families to start a conversation about emergencies and to have a plan.  They show a family home around the TV when the lights go out and they all grab their stuff and leave.

In Europe they are telling folks they need to prep too.  But this all is coming at the same time Europe is realizing that America isn’t going to be their forever protector and pay unlimited amounts for THEIR defense.  So now, the liberals of Europe are realizing they maybe have to get ready to care for themselves.  And if Russia were to invade maybe Europeans should have some type of plan to survive 72 hours?

 With all the insufferable quirkiness of a drunken liberal wine-mom, EU Commissioner for humanitarian aid and crisis management, Hadja Lahbib, explains the "essentials" of an emergency go-bag in a video designed for the average European facing epic disaster should NATO (minus the US) go to war. 

"In the EU we must think different because the threats are different, we must think bigger because the threats are bigger too," Lahbib told reporters.

Roxana Mînzatu, the Commissioner for preparedness, added that the bloc is "not starting from scratch".

"The COVID pandemic has shown that the added value of acting together in solidarity, in coordination, in the European Union framework is absolutely crucial, This is what makes us more efficient, makes us stronger," she said.

Keep in mind, these are the same people that ridiculed the preparedness movement only ten years ago and then accused survivalists of being "hoarders" during the covid lockdowns.  Suddenly the EU elites claim to be concerned about the survival pantries of the citizenry and this may be a signal of expanding hostilities between Europe and Russia.

The advice given, however, is not useful and one can only conclude that the EU is only trying to make it look like they care should the geopolitical situation go sideways.  Hadja Lahbib's video is not tongue-in-cheek parody - She is quite serious.  She claims that in her travels around Europe she gathered perspectives on emergency survival that were eventually applied to the EU go-bag recommendations.
