Supernatural Dreams of Jesus

The stories of Jesus appearing to Muslims in dreams and visions continue.  We first started writing of this occurrence many years ago but I still find very few American Christians who have heard anything about it.

 When the world sees the barbaric acts of ISIS, there tends to be talk of either war or hopelessness and defeat. Despite the evil, some Christians say God is at work in areas where darkness seems to reign.

As ISIS conquered parts of northern Iraq and persecuted Christian minorities, the Gospel actually began to spread.

"So besides the darkness coming in, trying to get the salt and light out—killing lives and bringing so much pain and suffering—on the other hand, we're seeing the rise of the presence of God, worship, prayer, experiencing Jesus and people being open to the Gospel and being open to follow Him, even from Muslim background," one man named Fabian, who asked that his full name not be disclosed, told CBN News.

Supernatural Encounters

Fabian leads a house of prayer in Kurdistan. He said he's met a number of people who've had supernatural encounters with Jesus.

"People in these streets and in these refugee camps, from places where ISIS has occupied, even people from here are encountering Jesus in dreams and visions," Fabian said.

Those divine encounters are not limited to ISIS-controlled areas. It's a phenomenon happening throughout the Middle East.

CBN News met with some Iranians visiting Kurdistan who wanted to share their stories. We concealed their identities for their own protection.

"Suddenly, one of the nights when I was in my bed, I just dreamed and the Light was speaking as I'm speaking to you now," A woman we'll call "Abby" told CBN News. "It was speaking to me and calling my name verbally and saying 'Come to me. I will save you and I will rescue you.'" 

"But I didn't understand, actually, how this could be. Others in the dream said, 'Come with us, please do not hesitate. Come to us and we will rescue you.' I believed in the dream, but I didn't surrender my whole life to the source of the light, which was Christ," she explained.

That decision soon followed for "Abby" and her mother. 

"This year, about seven months ago, we made our own decision to follow Jesus with all our hearts," she continued.

"When we came here, they gave us an explanation about the life of Christ and the Kingdom of God according to the Gospel," she said. "Here we realized the dream that I dreamed was Jesus. He is calling us to give us salvation and to give us rest, to give us life."

CBN News asked what dangers Abby faces back in Iran.

"If people knew about my faith, I would be rejected by the people," she said. "This is a kind of social persecution. If the government knew about my faith, I would be executed or hanging in the street at once."

Minneapolis High School Sings "Allahu Akbar" at Holiday Concert

Friends, I hate to say it but we are in the minority.

Last night at a public high school in a Minneapolis suburb a Muslim song praising Allah was sung at the Holiday Concert.  Was anyone offended?  Just a few....

"Thank you Allah for this blessed day. All over the world, under the big blue sky, Muslims unite to worship Allah."  (Words from song)

Some parents in the Anoka-Hennepin School District are questioning a choir teacher’s decision to use a song about Ramadan performed in Arabic at a holiday concert.

At Thursday night’s concert at Blaine High School, one of the songs students will be singing includes Arabic words, including the phrase “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is great.”

Christian and Jewish songs will be performed as well, but the Ramadan song is getting all the attention.

One person posted, “No child should be forced to sing a song about the Muslims and the religion of hatred.”

Another parent, who didn’t want to be identified, told WCCO phone that considering the recent events in Paris and San Bernardino, singing a song about Allah would be “insensitive.”

The Anoka- Hennepin School District said they have received about a dozen complaints about the song. Some are from parents, some are from people not even affiliated with the school.

In a statement, the district said that they have students from many different backgrounds and cultures, and they promote equal opportunities for all students.

“Songs are not performed in a worship setting or to promote religion,” the district’s statement said. “but rather in [an] educational setting where students are learning and performing music.”

A spokesman for the district said the Arabic song will be sung during an audience participation portion of the concert.

As one of my buddies pointed out, if the only issue is fairness, which the liberal mind is totally hinged to, then this makes perfect sense!

One song for Jesus, one song for Jews, one song for Muslims, one song for Kwanza, one song for Lord Maitraya, one song for Buddists, one song for Hindus, one song for Mother Earth naturalists and one song for the dark lord, Lucifer!  Happy holidays everyone!!  Now go worship the real god of The Season...MAMMON!!

It seems that as of this writing, only about 12 parents with kids in the choir have complained.

Why?  Because this once Christian nation has now become Biblical and historically illiterate and has fallen into the sinking sand.

"Oh wow Dennis, that is REALLY a hateful and intolerant song!  No wonder our church of The Feel Good Gospel of Chino Hills never sings that song anymore.  It's been stricken from our hymnal!"

"OH-my-Goodness!  Did Donald Trump write that crusader song to make Muslims feel bad?  We would never allow that song into our church, the Tolerance House of Hope in Saginaw."

ISIS Threat to Pope

Even though the Pope is working hard to appease Muslims and invite them to the Vatican to offer prayers to their god, Allah....ISIS is having none of that!  They would behead the Pope on national TV if they could have the opportunity.

The Vatican has admitted it is a target for crazed jihadis due to its religious links. Any attack would send shivers across the globe.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin said recently the Vatican was considering whether to ramp up security. 

He said: "The Vatican could be a target because of its religious significance. 

"We are capable of increasing the level of security in the Vatican and the surrounding area. 

"But we will not let ourselves be paralysed by fear."

Rome has been the subject of a number of threatening terror films released by the extremists in recent weeks. 

It is thought the focus on Rome, and specifically the Vatican City, may be in response to the Pope's recent condemnation of the deadly terror attacks in Paris, as well as its status of the capital of the Catholic world.  

Following the bloody night in Paris last month last month, in which 130 people died, Pope Francis said: "Such barbarity leaves us dismayed, and we ask ourselves how the human heart can plan and carry out such horrible events.

"There are no justifications for these things."

The latest, and most ominous video, shows CGI ISIS tanks advancing on a crumbling Colosseum, promises a final battle between "believers" and "crusaders."

It also shows an eerie St Peter's Basilica, the papal enclave within the Vatican City, bathed in an orange light and accompanied by chilling music. 

The video's narrator then apparently claims that ISIS will take over Rome, destroying crucifixes and taking Christian women as slaves. 

Last week, yet another video was released by ISIS, again specifically mentioning the Italian capital. 

In it, a jihadi vowed: "By Allah, if we brought down France in its homeland, in Paris, then we swear, by the command of Allah, we will attack America in its heartland, in Washington, Allah permitting, and we will invade Rome, Allah permitting."

I wonder if Nancy Pelosi and a bunch of liberals would head over to ISIS headquarters and talk to these people....maybe remind them what Obama says, "Hey ISIS, you aren't real Muslims!  Real Muslims abhor violence and love human rights and equality for women...plus they welcome gays as creative members of their community!"

"Who is this infidel from America?  Why is a woman talking to us about true Islam?  Hey Abdullah, would you hand me a sword please?"

Notice how the article calls ISIS "Crazed jihadis".  Why do they assume they are crazed?  The leader of ISIS has his PhD in Islamic Studies from Baghdad University.  That's hardly the resume of a crazy person.

Wheaton College Suspends Hijab Wearing Professor

Here we go!  Watch the wrath of liberals descend on Wheaton College for suspending a professor for claiming Muslims and Christians worship the same god.

A tenured Wheaton College political science professor who pledged to wear a hijab during Advent in support of her Muslim neighbors has been placed on administrative leave. Not for donning the Islamic head covering, but over "significant questions regarding the theological implications" of her explanation of why she was doing so.

“Wheaton College faculty and staff make a commitment to accept and model our institution’s faith foundations with integrity, compassion, and theological clarity,” the college stated in announcing the decision. “As they participate in various causes, it is essential that faculty and staff engage in and speak about public issues in ways that faithfully represent the college’s evangelical Statement of Faith.”

Larycia Alaine Hawkins, an associate professor who has taught at Wheaton since 2007, announced last week that she’d don the traditional headscarf as a sign of human, theological, and embodied solidarity.

“I stand in religious solidarity with Muslims because they, like me, a Christian, are people of the book,” she wrote in a Facebook post on December 10. “And as Pope Francis stated last week, we worship the same God.”

Hawkins also sought approval for her actions from the Council on American Islamic Relations, a sometimes controversial Muslim advocacy group.

Her comments made headlines, but also led to criticism from other evangelicals.

“This statement is unbelievable,” tweeted Baptist blogger Denny Burk, professor of biblical studies at Boyce College in Louisville. “Really jaw-dropping.”

“A holy kiss to you who disavow the idea that Muslims & Christians worship the same God: I love you. Peace & respect,” Hawkins tweeted in response to her critics. She linked to her Facebook response, where she stated:

Whether or not you find this position, one held for centuries by countless Christians (church fathers, saints, and regular Christian folk like me), to be valid, I trust that we can peacefully disagree on theological points and affirm others like the Triune God (albeit there are differences here as well--Athanasian Creed, anyone?), the virgin birth (or Immaculate Conception depending on your persuasion), and the Resurrection. Let there be unity in our diversity of views about all of the above.

Hawkins pointed to a 2011 Huffington Post op-ed from Yale theologian Miroslav Volf to bolster her claim.

She also linked to a 2011 CT interview with Volf on whether Muslims and Christians worship the same God.

Volf told CT that “all Christians don't worship the same God, and all Muslims don't worship the same God. But I think that Muslims and Christians who embrace the normative traditions of their faith refer to the same object, to the same Being, when they pray, when they worship, when they talk about God. The referent is the same. The description of God is partly different.”

Of course even the students at Wheaton probably won't get what all the 'fuss' is about and will demand that the leaders of the school rescind their decision.

Hey friends, as Christians we WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST!  HE is the Creator of the universe and is God in the flesh!  That's the absolute basis of our faith!  There is NO WAY that Muslims are praying to the God of Jesus Christ because they don't believe Jesus is God!  END OF STORY!!

One Christian Slaughtered Every Five Minutes

Why do you suppose it is that The Church of America seems to be sound asleep, or even dead, when it comes to the facts about Christian persecution happening around the world and especially at the hands of Muslims?

The White House said it was preparing to accuse the Islamic State of genocide against religious minorities, recognizing various groups, such as the Yazidis, as victims. However, Christians are apparently not going to be included.

An NGO report states that one Christian is slaughtered every five minutes in Iraq, and that, "Islamic State Militants in Iraq are using Christian churches as torture chambers where they force Christians to either convert to Islam or die."

When Pope Francis stood before the world at the UN, his energy was, once again, spent on defending the environment. In his nearly 50-minute speech, only once did Francis make reference to persecuted Christians -- and their sufferings were merged in the same sentence with the supposedly equal sufferings of "members of the majority religion," that is, Sunni Muslims. Sunnis are not being slaughtered, beheaded, and raped for their faith; are not having their mosques bombed and burned; are not being jailed or killed for apostasy, blasphemy, or proselytization.

"What is happening in Lebanon is an attempt to replace the people with [Muslim] Syrians and Palestinians." — Gebran Bassil, Foreign Minister of Lebanon.

Throughout September, as more Christians were slaughtered and persecuted for their religion -- not just by the Islamic State but by "everyday" Muslims from all around the world -- increasing numbers of people and organizations called for action. Meanwhile, those best placed to respond -- chief among them U.S. President Barack Obama and Pope Francis -- did nothing.

"Why, we ask the western world, why not raise one's voice over so much ferocity and injustice?" asked Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, the head of the Italian Bishops Conference.

I will make all possible to help you."

However, later in September, when Pope Francis stood before the world at the United Nations, his energy was, once again, spent on defending the environment. In his entire speech, which lasted nearly 50 minutes, only once did Francis make reference to persecuted Christians -- and even then they did not receive special attention but, in the same breath, their sufferings were merged in the same sentence with the supposedly equal sufferings of "members of the majority religion," that is, Sunni Muslims (the only group not to be attacked by the Islamic State, a Sunni organization):

Could it be possible that we Christians in America have become so wealthy, so comfortable and so busy that we have become ignorant about the Body of Christ in the rest of the world?

When we see Jesus, might he ask us, "Why did you ignore the pleas coming from your brothers and sisters who were hungry, thirsty, naked and in prison?  Why did you turn your back on them?"

"Well, you see Jesus we were real busy doing other things...plus it's really depressing to hear about people being tortured and killed!  That type of news is just such a downer during the Holidays...."

I heard a statistic recently that sounded amazing to me;  More Christians have been killed for their faith in the last 50 years than in all the last 2000 years combined!  Guess you will have to Google it and see if it's true.

Evangelical Preacher On Trial For Saying Islam is Satanic

A few thousand years ago there was a prophet named Elijah.  The Jews around him had fallen into the ungodly habit of worshiping a god name Baal.  If you don't know the rest of the story, you should read it in 1 Kings 18 because it's pretty awesome.

Elijah called out to the people that Baal was a false god.  And we know that every false god is really demonic-satanic in nature.

Today, we followers of Christ understand Islam is worshiping a false god.

"But Dennis, don't you know that Allah is simply Arabic for God and you may be offending Arab Christians by claiming Allah is a false god?"

Yes.  Here's a good way to think about that;  I could say, "Two men are married to a woman...but that doesn't mean they are married to the SAME woman."  Think about it....  Those two men ARE married to a woman.  This statement is true.  But then you need to ask more questions to realize they are married to different women, NOT the same woman.

Fact:  Islam denies the deity of Jesus Christ.

Fact:  Jesus is God.

Conclusion:  Both are NOT worshiping the same God. (god)

So if you are a preacher of the Gospel who is committed to telling the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY...will you continue to preach that Truth even when the liberals tell you it's hateful, intolerant and illegal to preach what Jesus said?  When you KNOW that Islam is a tool of Satan, will you tell that truth to your congregation?

This pastor in England is going to stand trial for telling the truth that Islam is satanic.

LONDON (AP) -- An evangelical preacher from Northern Ireland who branded Islam satanic has been charged with spreading a "grossly offensive" message.

In a May 2014 sermon, James McConnell told worshippers at the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast: "Islam is heathen. Islam is satanic."

The sermon was streamed online, and 78-year-old McConnell has been charged with transmitting the message over an electronic communications network.

Prosecutor David Russell told Belfast Magistrates' Court Monday that the case had "nothing to do with religion or freedom of expression."

He said McConnell "characterizes the followers of an entire religion in a stereotypical way. And that's grossly offensive and that's not protected from saying it from a pulpit."

McConnell denies the charges, and told police he didn't intend to offend, insult, arouse fear or stir up tension.

Friends, you are fooling yourselves if you think this isn't coming to America.  The evidence is all around us that it is!  The battle cry of the liberal-progressives is TOLERANCE!  So they will continue to push their agenda of NO HATE SPEECH and say that any words that can make people FEEL BAD should be restricted.

Liberal's Muslim Poster Boy Arrested

Here is MN we have had heard how the FBI has been arresting some ISIS sympathizers right here in the suburbs of Minneapolis!  And do you know what their names were?

"Matthew Smith?"

Nope.

"Jimmy Johnson?"

Nope....I'll just tell you because you are WAY OFF base.

So today I ran across this article from a few weeks ago.  It seems that MSNBC rolled out a Muslim to be interviewed for their story of how awful "Islamaphobia" is in America....because that's MSNBC's world view and they like to play stories that support it.

Turns out the dude they interviewed was recently arrested in Turkey for having ties to ISIS.

Oh the irony.....

A man who was used by American leftists as an example of righteous outrage over the U.S. government’s no-fly lists and the supposed biased targeting of innocent Muslims has been arrested and jailed by Turkish authorities who say he’s tied to ISIS.

Saadiq Long and his family members were all arrested near the Turkey-Syria border earlier this month on charges they belonged to an ISIS terrorist cell, PJ Media reported.

What’s most interesting about the arrest is Long was the face chosen by the likes of MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, Mother Jones magazine and author and columnist Glenn Greenwald to use as an example of government surveillance gone wrong.

As PJ Media reported: “His story got considerable media attention when his [Council on American-Islamic Relations] media representatives here pushed the story that Long wanted to return to his native Oklahoma from his current home in Qatar to visit his ailing mother, but couldn’t because he was on the [Transportation Security Administration's] no-fly list. They said his case represented institutional ‘Islamophobia.’”

Greenwald, for instance, posted a piece at the Guardian decrying how Long was “effectively exiled from his own country,” while Kevin Drum of Mother Jones likened his plight to a “Kafkaesque World.”

Long did get to return to Oklahoma for a short period, but was watched by FBI officials. He was then prevented from returning to Qatar, and the far left again expressed outrage.

Long finally left America via a bus through Mexico, and then took a plane back to Qatar, PJ Media reported.

Both American and Turkish officials confirmed he’d been arrested, along with eight others.

ISIS Starts Killing Disabled Children

While the liberal-left here in America is busy putting out statements and pictures that compare Donald Trump to Hitler....ISIS continues DOING things that are reminiscent of Hitler.

ISIS have issued a fatwa which orders children with Down's syndrome and other disabilities to be killed in a chilling echo to the workings of the Nazis, it is claimed.

Sharia judges have apparently ruled that ISIS followers are authorised to 'kill newborn babies with Down's Syndrome or congenital deformities and disabled children' in their latest sickening act.
More than 38 children born with deformities and Down's syndrome, aged between one week and three months, have already been killed by lethal injection or suffocation, according to Iraqi activist group Mosul Eye.  

The organisation, which released the a video report highlighting the depraved acts, said the killings took place in ISIS strongholds in Syria and Mosul, northern Iraq.

Mosul Eye said it monitored the deaths of children born with Down's syndrome and found they are mostly those of foreign fighters who married Iraqi, Syrian and Asian women.

The group said during its investigation it discovered that the fatwa was issued by one of Islamic State's Sharia judges, a Saudi judge named Abu Said Aljazrawi.

As Bible readers, most of my readers will understand that ISIS (and all Islamic extremism) is demonically charged.  It would be REALLY NICE if other Muslim nations would say "We have had enough of these radical Muslims!" and put together some sort of military force and go clean up this mess within their ranks...but we won't hold our breath.  According to the article it was a Saudi judge who issued the fatwa to kill the disabled children!

So what can America do?  Are we really prepared to send a massive invasion of troops into these god-forsaken, dark places to stop the killing?  And even if we could wipe out ISIS...would that actually change the minds of millions of Muslims who actually support what ISIS is doing?  Or would a US led invasion actually make millions more Muslims support what ISIS is doing?

The Bible tells us that "the whole world is under the control of the evil one." 1 John 5:19  As we watch the daily headlines this fact seems confirmed.

We realize that these headlines can make one start to feel like darkness is overcoming the world.  But please remember that JESUS HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD.  We may feel like the battles are lost but Christ has already won the war!  NONE of these events on earth are surprising to God.  He's not on His throne wringing his hands saying, "Oh me, oh my....these evil humans are getting the upper hand!  What am I going to do now?"

We were told that these days would come...but God promises that THEIR DAY IS COMING!!

Bankrupt Governments Will Do Anything to Stay in Power

I think by now, almost all my readers probably realize that many Western governments are totally bankrupt.  They are far from having enough revenue coming in to balance the revenue going out. And this isn't just a temporary situation like a business that had to take a short term loan to meet payroll on any given Friday....no, this is a systemic problem that goes on week in, week out, month in, month out, year in, year out.

So what happens when a huge world power finds itself WAY OUT OVER ITS SKIS and can never figure out how to balance their checkbook?

Well, history shows us that they start taking more and more of their citizen's wealth...and ultimately they will get mean about it when you try and tell them, "Not so fast!"

It’s time to get serious.

One of the major themes of this daily e-letter is that major western governments are flat broke.

This is not the first time that a major world power has gone bankrupt, and we need only to look to history to see the consequences.

Thousands of years ago, as Rome’s bleak financial condition deteriorated, it didn’t create a crisis all at once.

Initially the Empire was able to limp along by debasing the currency and diluting the value of people’s money.

But eventually that was no longer enough, so the government’s tactics became worse.

They started imposing more severe taxes, imposing austere wage and price controls, and eventually began confiscating people’s assets altogether.

Rome’s government did whatever it took to remain in power and maintain the status quo for a little while longer, no matter what.

We’ve seen this over and over throughout history, enough times to recognize that when superpowers go broke, it is not a consequence-free environment.

It’s happening again today.

Some modern examples are comical, such as the United Kingdom’s new tax ‘task force’ to crack down on strippers and prostitutes who are suspected of not paying enough tax.

I’m sure there’s probably a lengthy queue of bureaucrats hoping to get assigned to the case.

A few weeks ago, the Greek government started demanding its taxpayers report their holdings gold, jewelry, and even cash stashed under their mattresses. Unreal.

But the biggest example is, go figure, in the Land of the Free.

Over the weekend when the media was terrifying Americans with stories of violent Muslims, the President of the United States quietly signed H.R. 22 into law.

 I told you about this bill a few weeks ago. 

 Buried deep within its 400+ pages is a provision giving the government the authority to revoke your passport if they believe in their sole discretion that you have “seriously delinquent tax debt.”

When I first told you about this bill back in late November, it had not yet become law. So there was still some small chance that freedom (and sanity) would prevail.

Well, freedom and sanity did not prevail.

So this provision is now officially law and will be formally codified in section 7345 of the Internal Revenue Code.

There’s no judge. No trial. It’s a simple administrative procedure. Like that… poof… you can be stripped of your passport.

But if you think that’s vile, here’s the craziest part:

They actually included a nifty little ‘get out of jail free clause’ for the government officials who are involved in the process.

Section 7345(e)(3) states that:

“The Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of State, and any of their designees shall not be liable to an individual for any action with respect to a certification by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue under section 7345. . .”

In other words, if they screw up and revoke your passport due to some bureaucrat flunky’s Excel mistake, you’re not allowed to take action and hold them responsible.

I find this incredible.

A bankrupt government has just awarded itself even more power to destroy people’s freedom in the name of plundering wealth from the citizens.

They made it happen quietly over a weekend when everyone was distracted with a violent shooting.

And they made sure to include specific language to keep themselves from being held accountable for their mistakes.

If you still think the government is there to protect and support you, it’s time to take a hard look at reality.

And the past, for that matter.

In the third century AD, Emperor Caracalla of the bankrupt Roman Empire infamously pointed to his sword and remarked “as long as we have this, we shall not run short of money.”

That’s precisely where we are today.

These people are flat broke. And you are nothing but a dairy cow to them, locked in a pasture to be milked dry as they slide further into bankruptcy.

This is not some wild conspiracy theory. This is their own law, one that they passed when you weren’t looking.

Their own numbers show that they’re bankrupt, and that the trust funds they’re managing on your behalf for programs like Social Security and Medicare are either underfunded or out of cash.

Simply put, they need the money. Your money. And this is not a zero risk, consequence free environment.

It’s time for any rational person to have a Plan B.

After all, you won’t be worse off for taking sensible steps that ensure you don’t have all of your eggs in one very fragile basket.

But if these consequences continue to play out as they have so many times throughout history, a good Plan B means that you’ll be a spectator instead of a victim.

One day someone will say, "At one time, the nation of America was the world's only super-power. But financial mismanagement, pride, corruption and greed overtook them and today they are with the others in the dust-bin of history."

Folks who read their Bibles know that nations who refuse to respect and fear The Lord will always come crashing down.  So WHEN could America's end come?

We HOPE it doesn't crash until AFTER the Rapture of the Church, but please don't be surprised if things start coming apart beforehand.
