Mayor in Israel Fires Arabs

If some Arabs in Muslim lands fired Jews because they don't like Jews....the world would yawn...roll over and the media would most likely never report it.

BUT...when Jews are now firing Arabs in the backlash over Arab violence in Israel...it makes Google News!

Arab workers across Israel have been sacked in a backlash following a recent wave of Palestinian attacks against Israelis, the country’s equal opportunities body admitted Thursday.

The sackings came to light as the mayor of Ashkelon, one of Israel’s leading cities, provoked a political outcry by firing Arabs who were building bomb shelters in municipal kindergartens.

Itamar Shimoni said he had been pressured into the move by worried parents after two Palestinians killed four rabbis and a Druze police officer in an attack on a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday.

One of the assailants, Ghassam Abu Jamal, who carried out the assault with his cousin Uday, was a builder from East Jerusalem who was believed to have worked on construction sites in Israel.

Mr. Shimoni also deployed a team of armed security guards at kindergartens close to building sites employing Arabs with funds provided by a private donor based abroad.

His decision to sack Arab workers caused outrage across the Israeli political spectrum amid charges of racism and signs of a wider purge of Arab workers by Jewish employers professing fears that their employees could carry out a future attack. A chorus of criticism, initially led by left-wing opposition and Arab figures, was eventually joined by the country’s leaders after legal experts said Mr. Shimoni’s decision broke Israel’s equal opportunity laws.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister, said there was “no place for discrimination against Israeli-Arabs,” adding: “We cannot make generalizations about an entire population based on a small unruly minority. Most Arabs citizens of Israel are law-abiding.”

Naftali Bennett, the far-Right Jewish Home party leader, promised to use his powers as economy minister to reverse the mayor’s decision. “We are experiencing a difficult time, a wave of terror, but we know that 99.9% of Arab-Israelis are loyal to Israel,” he added.

Arab-Israelis and Palestinians from East Jerusalem commonly work in the building trade and in restaurants in the city’s Jewish western sector. Many have lost their jobs in recent weeks because of their Arab background, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported.

One of the cousins who carried out this week’s synagogue attack was reported by Israeli media to have worked in a nearby grocery store in the ultra-Orthodox Har Nof neighbourhood. In response, a reception hall chain based in the coastal town of Bnei Brak fired 17 Arab dishwashers, according to Yedioth.


“I’m tired of giving them a livelihood only to get an axe in return,” it quoted the company’s operations director as saying. “They know how to work. But I’ve got no faith in them. I can’t go on like this. It isn’t only the momentary fear after a terror attack. It’s more than that. Today it’s Har Nof, tomorrow it’s here.”

Can I understand the employers frustration and fear?

Yep.

Do I have a better answer?

Nope.

All we can do is point out the double standard of the world.  Muslims discriminate against Jews all the time.  In fact some Muslim countries don't allow Jews to even enter their country.

Is the world still focused everyday in tiny little Israel?

Yep.

Is the earth groaning for Messiah Jesus to return and finally set up a peaceful kingdom on planet earth where differences between races will vanish?

Yep.

And when that day comes, the entire world will have one religion...we will all worship Jesus Christ!

PS...please remember that it's very possible that some of our Christian brothers and sisters are Arabs living in Israel and may even love the Jewish people and their host country as much as you and I...but they may be caught up in the firing of Arabs all the same.

Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Most of us are familiar with the Beatitudes of Jesus.  I have heard some of my liberal friends quote the verse, "blessed are the peacemakers" as they say how wonderful it is the John Kerry is flying over to Israel to try and paste together peace between the Arabs and the Jews.

That ain't gonna work....and that's not what Jesus was talking about.

The peace that Jesus is talking about in this passage is the peace that WE CAN HAVE WITH GOD by accepting His Son, Jesus.

Before we accepted Christ, the wrath of God was upon us all...and we deserved it!!  But for the blood of Jesus, we now have peace and that wrath we deserve is removed for all of eternity!!  Praise Jesus!!

Today I received this devotion and it confirmed this thinking.

Peacemakers
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matthew 5:9) 

In this seventh (out of nine) of the Beatitudes with which Christ began His Sermon on the Mount occurs the first mention in the New Testament of the important word “peace.” 

But how can one be a peacemaker? Note that Christ did not say: “Blessed are the pacifists.” There are many today who talk about peace, but how does one make peace? 

The answer lies in the example of Christ Himself. He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), and He “made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself” (Colossians 1:20). 

The real problem is that there can be no lasting peace between man and man as long as there is enmity between man and God. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:18). 

With that problem settled, we are now in a position to become true peacemakers, for we also can lead others to God through Jesus Christ. He “hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we . . . pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). 

As ambassadors for Christ, we are true ambassadors for peace. The best possible contribution we can make toward world peace, racial peace, industrial peace, family peace, or personal peace is to help people become reconciled to God through faith in the peace-making work of Christ on the cross. “These things I have spoken unto you,” says the Lord Jesus, “that in me ye might have peace” (John 16:33). 

The War on the Israeli Home Front

The Wall Street Journal is filled with prophetic articles today.  The front page has the article and photo from the funeral of the Jewish Rabbis killed in Jerusalem.  There is an article about how the Russian Ruble is now free floating because it's value has dropped by 30% in the past 6 months. There is an article about how Japan is on the brink of financial catastrophe as they simply have no answers on what to do when a society quits having children...and begins a slow death.  Then there is an article about how the Muslims in ISIS captured the city of Dabiq, Syria because they believe prophecies from the Hadith that say Muslims will conquer a Western Army in the city...and this is why they beheaded American Peter Kassig in this city and then taunted the US Military to come meet them in Dabiq to fight.

Wow!  Can the world get any more interesting.  It seems that 7/8 of the world's news is centered on crazy stuff happening all over....much of it in the Middle East

Now, back to the Wall Street Journal.  If you go to page A13 today you will find an article titled THE WAR ON THE ISRAELI HOME FRONT.

On the morning of Feb. 25, 1994, the Jewish holiday of Purim, Baruch Goldstein, a far-right activist living in the West Bank town of Kiryat Arba, entered the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and gunned down 29 Muslim men at prayer.

The horror within Israeli society was overwhelming and unequivocal. Speaking from the Knesset podium, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin excommunicated Goldstein from the people of Israel. The country’s two chief rabbis denounced the attack as a desecration of God’s name, the ultimate Jewish sin. The official publication of the West Bank settlement movement, Nekudah, denounced Goldstein, a settler, as a stain on its camp. Only a radical fringe sought to justify and explain the massacre as a response to Palestinian provocations.

Tuesday’s massacre by two Palestinian terrorists of four Jews at prayer in a Jerusalem synagogue is the Palestinian Baruch Goldstein moment. Yet rather than respond with shame to the murder of those Jews, as well as of an Israeli police officer, the Palestinian reaction has ranged from reluctant condemnation to outright celebration. Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas, reportedly after being pressed by Secretary of State John Kerry, condemned the attack—even as he cited Israeli “provocative acts.” Less equivocal was Mr. Abbas’s adviser on religious affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, who said of the terrorists: “We are behind them. The leadership is with them.” Palestinians cheered in the streets of Gaza.

Since 2000, when the Oslo peace process collapsed, Israel has been fighting one long war, interspersed with prolonged cease fires. In this war, the primary targets on the Israeli side are not its soldiers but its civilians. The first phase of this new unnamed war—and what might be called the war of the Israeli home front—were the four years of Palestinian suicide bombings on Israeli buses and in cafes, ending with Israeli victory in 2004. Then came the Lebanon War of 2006, when the Lebanese terrorist militia, Hezbollah, fired missiles into towns and villages in northern Israel. At the same time, thousands of missiles fired by Hamas from Gaza were falling on Israeli communities in the south.

In an era of moral madness, in which much of the world judges Israel more harshly than it judges Hamas, this must be said: Nothing Israel does or doesn’t do is responsible for provoking young Palestinians to hack to death Jews in prayer. The provocation is Jewish prayer itself, the right of the Jewish people to live in its land.

One image from the synagogue massacre will haunt Jews for a long time to come. According to a medic on the scene, terrorists severed an arm wrapped in the straps of tefillin, the phylacteries in which religious Jews recite their morning prayers. That terrible image has reinforced the prevailing sense within Israeli society that the war against the state of Israel is only the latest phase of an old war against the Jews.

And there!!...He said it!!  The Arabs hate Jews and want none of them to live in this land!  It won't matter if Europe and the world DO give the Arabs another death-cult state called Palestine!  That's not going to stop them from waging war against Jews.  Does anyone really believe that the PLO is going to quit teaching their kids to kill Jews once they get their own state?  Does anyone really believe that the Arabs are going to all of sudden shun Militant Islam if only they could have their own state called Palestine?

The world is deluded if they think this.  And clearly many do.  The nation of Sweden just announced they are going to recognize the Palestinian state regardless of how the peace process with Israel manifests.

Brilliant Sweden!  The top boys name in your city of Malmo, is Muhammad!....and you have thousands of Muslims living in your midst who have NO PLANS on turning into Swedes...and yet you are pushing for another death-cult, Muslim state right next to Israel.  What??

People, the nation of Israel isn't perfect.  No nation is.  The Bible says they will be brought back into this Holy Land while they are in a stage of unbelief in Almighty God.  But after the rapture of the church....this is all going to change.  God will start to reveal Himself to His Chosen People...so that one day "all Israel will be saved".  (Read Romans)  Sadly, many folks, including Jews, are going to die in the process of The Great Tribulation....before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom in Jerusalem.

Mormonism is a "Sex-Cult"

Bill Maher is a liberal atheist with his own TV show.  He was born a Jew...but clearly enjoys mocking all religions.

Recently, he mocked Islam and the liberals that usually love Bill when he is busy mocking Jesus or the Bible...they came out of their skin to argue with Bill that Islam is about peace...and you can't mock Islam because that would be 'racist'!....they told him.

Hmmmm.....we don't agree with Bill on hardly anything EXCEPT when he points out how Muslims have lots of organized groups all over the world whose sole purpose it to kill anyone who disagrees with their beliefs about Allah and Muhammad.

Today Bill is in the news again for mocking a religion.  This time he is mocking Mormonism and believe me, there is MUCH to be made fun of in that religion.

Comedian Bill Maher has in a recent tirade against Mormonism termed the it is a faith based on a 19th century sex cult. Maher’s not so kind words against the Mormons came just days after the Mormon church revealed that its founding prophet John Smith had as many as 40 wives. The revelations came after a number of essays were posted online by religious leaders who were on an effort to come clean about the history of the religion, reports the Washington Times.

Bill Maher who is usually seen bashing Islam seems to have liked the change and did not waste any time in going on a tirade against them Mormons soon after the essays began to be publicly discussed. He called the religion a sex cult deep rooted in the 19th century.

“This religion is based on a sex cult. It is plainly based on a 19th century sex cult. And if we didn’t have Mormonism, we’d have to invent it for all the religious people who need something to look down on because they believe in something crazy, this would be it,” Bill Maher says.

He further adds.

“What I love is he said he had a revelation in 1831 from an angel who said, ‘Marry plurally — get as many b–—s as you can up in there.’ Joseph Smith, [the church] says, resisted three times until the angel came down with the sword, threatening Joseph with destruction unless he obeyed. And you can’t argue with an armed angel.”

The recent revelations also add that one of John Smith’s wives was only aged 14 while some others were already married to some of his friends. One of his wives was aged 56, the essays revealed. In an earlier report the Inquisitr had said that many of the religions adherents believe that polygamy was commanded by god and that it was revealed to Smith. However, it was followed only reluctantly by his followers.

This is not the first time Bill Maher has taken on and ridiculed a religion. He has targeted almost every major religion in the world and has said that he hates how most of them try to push their religious views on others. Bill Maher also happens to be an atheist.

Now listen friends. as followers of Christ we need to be mindful and knowledgeable about other religions so that we can speak Truth to them when we are given an opportunity.  If we remain ignorant about Mormonism and the lies that make up that entire religion...we might end up believing that Mormons are brothers and sisters in Christ..and end up spending ZERO time telling them about Jesus.

Joel Osteen even came out and said that Mormons are brothers and sisters in Christ....because Mormons refer to themselves as "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints."...so how many of his followers are going to assume that Mormons are saved and don't need to be evangelized?

However, making fun of someones religion TO THEIR FACE would probably not be productive in helping win souls for Christ....so KNOW what other religions teach but use that info to speak to them, NOT ridicule them.

"See!!  The Mormons believe in Jesus!...because their name even says so!"

Nope!  The Mormons worship a different Jesus.

"Depart from me!  I don't know you!", says the One, Real Jesus on judgment day.

Obama the "Dog of Rome"

Obama doesn't like Israel.  He does seem to favor Muslims....so it must be shocking to him that the Islamic State (ISIS) doesn't like him.

“To Obama, the dog of Rome, today we are slaughtering the soldiers of Bashar, and tomorrow we will slaughter your soldiers, and with Allah’s permission, we will break this final and last crusade, and the Islamic state will soon, like your puppet David Cameron said, will begin to slaughter your people on your streets”

As the Islamic State is shown spreading over the Middle East and North Africa, ISIS leader al-Baghdadi, who is believed to have been badly injured in a recent air strike tells listeners: “We give you good news, by announcing the expansion of the Islamic State to new lands”.

The final segment of the film shows al-Britani standing over the severed head of American soldier and aid worker Peter Kassig, in a shot designed to goad Western forces into action. Filmed in Dabiq, a town central to the core myths surrounding the Islamic State, al-Britani accuses America of continuing to occupy Iraq despite an official withdrawal with “hidden forces”.

ISIS believes a great battle will occur in the town of Dabiq, and it will be there they will triumph over the West. Alluding to this, while standing on a hill overlooking the town with the head of Kassig, al-Britaini says: “and here we are, burying the first American crusader in Dabiq, eagerly waiting for the remainder of your armies to arrive”.

Muslim prophecy says there will be a great battle in the town of Dabiq and Islam will finally defeat The West in that battle.  They want our US forces to go there to fight because they believe Allah is on their side and will give them the victory.

We have no doubt Allah (Satan) is on their side.  But now that Allah has been invited to "guide the USA" by an Imam praying in Congress (see blog post from yesterday)....we are wondering if God will still be on the side of any US forces sent to battle the Muslims?

One day US forces will have to be sent in to defeat this demonic horde of Muslims who call themselves ISIS.  Obama has told his followers that we can defeat ISIS by flying drones shooting missiles at them....but every general you hear interviewed has said that boots will ultimately have to be on the ground to wipe out and defeat ISIS.

Rabbis Slaughtered in Jerusalem

Jerusalem, once again, is the top headline on Google News.  And once again the news is not good news.

Three Americans Among Four Rabbis 'Slaughtered' in Jerusalem Synagogue

JERUSALEM — Two Palestinians stormed a Jerusalem synagogue, opening fire and using knives and axes to attack Jews praying inside, officials said Tuesday. Four rabbis were killed — including three dual U.S.-Israeli nationals — and six other people wounded.

The attackers were later killed in a shootout with police. "Everybody was praying peacefully without any disruptions whatsoever and then all of a sudden the terrorists go into a place of worship and peace and turn it into a killing nightmare," Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told BBC Radio 4.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “Human beasts committed a massacre, and they came charged with hatred against the Jewish people and their state.”

Israeli police told NBC News that three of the dead were dual U.S.-Israeli citizens. Britain's Foreign Office confirmed the death of a dual U.K.-Israeli national. Police said the slain included Rabbi Moshe Twersky, the son of Boston-born Isadore Twersky who founded Harvard University's Center for Jewish Studies. Rabbi Cary Levine, Rabbi Avraham Goldberg and Rabbi Aryeh Kopinsky were also killed, according to an announcement made by the synagogue.

Netanyahu vowed to "respond with a heavy hand to the brutal murder of Jews who came to pray and were met by reprehensible murderers." He later ordered the demolition of the attackers' homes although he did not confirm the names of the perpetrators.

Israel police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told NBC News that the two attackers were from the neighborhood of Jabal Mukaber in east Jerusalem, which has been the scene of clashes between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters in recent months.

The attack comes amid spiking tensions in Jerusalem. The weekend death of a Palestinian bus driver worsened tensions in and around Jerusalem. The body of 32-year-old Youssef Ramouni was found hanged in a bus at the start of the route he was supposed to have driven on Sunday, in an area of Jerusalem close to Jewish settlements and Palestinian neighborhoods, according to Reuters. Israeli officials said his death was suicide, but Ramouni’s relatives and other Palestinians say he was killed by settlers.

Another article notes that the attackers were yelling "Allah Akbar!" as they swung their meat cleavers.

Hmmmm.....if it was up to Team Obama they would simply label this as 'workplace violence' and say how sad it is that workers can turn on each other and make a comment about how guns are bad.

Friends, it's going to continue to get ugly in Israel.  Obama is negotiating a way for Iran to get a nuclear weapon.  Israel is going to have to go into Iran and do what The West is terrified to do...wipe out their nuclear capacity.  We can't let a nation led by Shi'ite Muslims get an atomic bomb and screw it on the end of a missile.  Israel knows this...but Obama ran as the "no more war!" President...so he pretty much has tied his own hands in this department.  He already is eating crow having to go back into Iraq to fight ISIS...but has made sure to tell ISIS that USA will NEVER put boots back on the ground in Iraq.

Whew!...says ISIS.....that's a relief!!  Now we can keep beheading folks and raping women and just remember to do it in the basement so the bombers and drones can't see us!

But I digress....

Back to Israel and the angry Muslims that surround them!

The Bible is clear that God has big plans for Jerusalem and big plans for the Jews.  Satan would love nothing more than to ruin God's plans and to break even one prophecy and thereby make God a liar who is incapable of fulfilling His promises.  Currently Satan is using Islam as one of his tools....but please have faith!  We will win in the end!

Can Christians Worship Idols?

If you listen the homosexual agenda they will argue that since Jesus never said anything about homosexual behavior...that sodomizing another man is really OK.  They will then go on to use this argument to say that homosexual marriage is fine because "God made me this way."

Some "Christians" will then go on to argue that slavery used to be approved by Christians in The South and now they don't approve of it....so in the same way "old fashioned" Christians today need to stop our "homophobic" beliefs and stop calling homosexual behavior a sin.  In their minds discriminating against homosexuals is THE SAME as discriminating against blacks.

Clearly, this argument is dead wrong for the simplest of reasons.  The Bible has always maintained that humans are ONE RACE.  We all descended from Adam and that physical characteristics should NOT be a cause of discrimination...BUT...while some humans may be born with homosexual desires (sinful desires), homosexuality is NOT a physical characteristic.  That's why most gays have to 'come out' and announce their desires....because most times even their family and closet friends didn't know.

The following article was written by a very clever theologian who sarcastically claims that if we follow the same line of reasoning to approve of homosexual behavior...then we should also approve idolatry as a newly accepted Christian behavior.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to worship idols. It’s not that my parents raised me that way, because they didn’t; I was brought up in a loving, secure, Christian home. But from childhood until today, my heart has been drawn to idolatry. In fact, if I’m honest, one of the defining features of my identity has been my desire to put something else – popularity, money, influence, sex, success – in place of God.

For many years, I was taught that idolatry was sinful. As a good Christian, I fought the desire to commit idolatry, and repented when I got it wrong. But the desire to worship idols never went away.

I wanted it to, but it didn’t.

So it has been such a blessing to discover that worshiping one God, and him alone, isn’t for everyone. There are thousands of Christians out there who have found faithful, loving ways of expressing worship both to God and to idols, without compromising either their faith or their view of Scripture. In recent years, I have finally summoned the courage to admit that I am one of them. Let me give you a few reasons why I believe that idolatry and Christianity are compatible.

I start with my own story, and the stories of many others like me. I am an evangelical, and I have a very high view of the Bible – I am currently studying for a PhD in biblical studies at King’s College London, which will be my third theology degree – as well as knowing both the ancient languages and the state of scholarly research. Yet, after much prayerful study, I have discovered the liberating truth that it is possible to be an idolatrous Christian. That, at least, is evidence that you can be an evangelical and an idolater.

Jesus had no problem with idolatry.

He included everyone, however many gods they worshipped.

If we want to be like him, then we should adopt the same inclusive approach.

We should also remember that, as we have discovered more about the human brain, we have found out all sorts of things about idolatry that the biblical writers simply did not know. The prophets and apostles knew nothing of cortexes and neurons, and had no idea that some people are pre-wired to commit idolatry, so they never talked about it. But as we have learned more about genetics, neural pathways, hormones and so on, we have come to realise that some tendencies - alcoholism, for example - scientifically result from the way we are made, and therefore cannot be the basis for moral disapproval or condemnation. To disregard the findings of science on this point is like continuing to insist that the world is flat.

One final thought...have you ever heard people say, "Well I've prayed about it and gotten an inner peace that what I'm doing is just fine.  My god would never want me to be unhappy!"

Here's a hint, if you are sleeping with your girlfriend before you are married, just because you prayed about it and hoped that God would give you the "go ahead" because you REALLY wanted to continue sleeping with her...that's a lie.

God will NEVER give you the "go ahead" on something that His word has already called sinful.  He will NEVER contradict Himself.

Fornication has always been sinful and it always will be.  It doesn't matter that 99% of Americans and 100% of TV shows and movies portray this behavior as "OK"....sexual intercourse outside of marriage will ALWAYS be sinful.

In the same way, men having sex with men and women having sex with women will ALWAYS be sinful behavior in God's economy....even if one day 50 United States claim that it's actually "OK".

Demonic "Exterminator" Makes the News

Satan seems to be particularly angry these days.  His demons seem to be growing increasingly powerful.  The calls for exorcists to cast them out of their human hosts is on the rise.

According to the Catholic Church, the demand for exorcists in the U.S. has doubled in three consecutive years. Pastor Everett Cox is a professional demonic "exterminator." Through Deliverance Ministries, he has devoted his life to casting out evil spirits.

There can be no doubt that the name of Jesus is powerful.  Sometimes it can be used by people to gain an advantage over demons...even if the people using His name don't really know who Jesus is.

The Dangers of the Temple Mount

Jewish tradition says Abraham took Isaac to this mount.  Solomon built the First Temple here.  The Second Temple was rebuilt here.  The Romans destroyed it about 35 years after Jesus ascended.  Islam claims Muhammad flew his magical horse here and built the Dome of the Rock to commemorate this lie and they also built a mosque on this Holy site.

Today the Temple Mount seems to be finding its way into our news headlines almost every single day.

It seems like something on this 35 acre parcel might soon POP!

On Friday, protests and clashes between Israelis and Palestinians continued throughout Israel and the West Bank. From northern Israel to northern Jerusalem to Hebron, there were reports of protesters and police throwing rocks and stun grenades, respectively.

Surprisingly or perhaps miraculously, one place where there wasn't violence on Friday was the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The central point of focus in the recent unrest in Israel and the West Bank, the Temple Mount, the same location as the al-Aqsa Mosque, is Judaism's holiest site and Islam's third-holiest site.

Late last month, Yehuda Glick, a rabbi advocating for Jews to be allowed to pray on the Temple Mount (which is forbidden by the Israeli Supreme Court) was shot several times in an assassination attempt by a Palestinian man. After the assailant was killed in a later confrontation with Israeli forces, violent clashes ensued and, in light of the violence, Israeli security forces decided to fully close the Temple Mount for the first time in over a decade.

The Old City of Jerusalem is that fortunate one-third of a square mile in the world where holy sites of the three major monotheistic religions are intimately contained. In its four quarters are the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa, the Western Wall, and the Temple Mount, upon which sit the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, an Islamic shrine and one of the Middle East's most recognizable buildings.

For Jews, as Ruth Margalit explains, the Temple Mount "is where Abraham almost sacrificed Isaac, and where God gathered the dust that created Adam. It’s there, the Bible says, that King Solomon built the First Temple, circa 1000 B.C., where Herod refurbished the Second Temple, and where Titus tore it down, in 70 A.D. Its inner sanctuary is known as the Holy of Holies—a place where no one but the High Priest was allowed to tread. The Western Wall, the extant remnant of the wall that flanked the courtyard of the Second Temple, is the holiest site in Judaism."

Owing to the delicate nature of everything associated with the site, the name Temple Mount doesn't even cover all of the theological bases. Last week, the Palestinian Liberation Organization demanded that media stop using the term "Temple Mount" to describe the venue, which it says doesn't "adhere to international law." The Temple Mount, the widely used term for the site in English, is known as the Haram al-Sharif or Noble Sanctuary by Muslims. (Cautious diplomats employ all of the aforementioned names.)

The prophet Daniel tells us that a Third Temple will be built here one day.  This will be the Temple where the Antichrist will sit 3 1/2 years after he signs a peace agreement with the Jews and will declare himself to be God.

God claimed this patch of land as His own.  Because of this fact, Satan wants it bad...and the world is currently trembling as they wonder what should be done about this holy site.

The Muslims want the media outlets of the world to quit calling in "The Temple Mount" because they argue that the name gives it a Jewish bias.  The media outlets and "cautious diplomats" are already appeasing the Muslims on this issue.

The world seems to believe that if we appease the Muslims then maybe they will shut up and become good global citizens.  How wrong they are!  Our efforts of appeasement only embolden the followers of Allah to demand more...and the serious Muslims won't rest until they conquer the entire world and make everyone submit to Allah.

Muslim Imam Leads U.S. Congress in Prayer to Allah

Uh-oh.  This is not good.  In fact, this is really bad.

Islamic Imam Leads U.S. House of Representatives in Prayer ‘in the Name of Allah’

WASHINGTON – An Islamic imam led the U.S. House of Representatives in prayer ‘in the name of Allah’ this week, as those representing the people from states across America stood with their heads bowed and eyes closed.

Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey in Monmouth opened the day on Thursday, being introduced by Speaker John Boehner.

“In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful,” he began. “Praise be to Allah, the cherisher, the sustainer of the world, the most gracious, the most merciful master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship and thine do we seek.”

“Guide us to the safe path,” Chebli continued. “The god of the prophets and the messenger says in the Koran [that] he does not place a responsibility on you greater than you can bear. Everyone will receive the good they have earned and vice versa.”

He then asked asked that Allah bless and guide Congress.

“O god, bless us as we begin a new day. Bless this assembly. Bless the people and the nation it represents. O god, at this time in our history, the challenges for our nation and the world are many,” Chebli said. “O god, grant these men and women the wisdom, the guidance and the strength to pursue compassion, justice and sound judgment. O god, in your wisdom, the guidance and the strength to pursue responsibility and honor.”

O god, please help them with your guidance and your light. O god, improve the well being of all inhabitants of this great nation and beyond,” he continued. “O god, improve the well being of all inhabitants of this great nation and beyond. Amen.”

The prayer was then followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a brief speech by U.S. Representative Rush Holt of New Jersey, who praised Chebli before those gathered.

“I ask my colleagues to join me in welcoming Imam Chebli,” he said. “He has been both a friend and an ambassador of Islam to me and many others in New Jersey, and we are all honored that his prayer has opened this session of Congress.”

Holt, a professing Quaker, then provided the background on the Islamic imam, who is heavily trained in the Muslim religion.

“He’s a native of Lebanon and attended one of the most prestigious Islamic institutions in the world, where he received his masters in Islamic cannonical law. He’s been the leader of ISCJ since 1986, where he makes Muslims and non-Muslims feel welcome,” the Democratic representative said. “The depth of his faith and scholarship, his commanding dignity and the warmth of his personality make him the most prominent and attractive figure of Islam in our region.”

“In a period where the public understanding of Islam has grown greatly, we are fortunate to have Imam Chebli in our community. He’s worked hard to build interfaith dialogue and public understanding,” Holt continued. “Most recently, New Jersey’s governor [Republican Chris Christie] appointed him to the governor’s leadership summit on diversity. He and I have a friendship that has lasted many years, especially since September 2001, and I greatly value that friendship.”

“Through is inspiring prayer this morning, we can all gain wisdom and guidance,” he claimed.

First the Muslims took over the National Cathedral...now they invite Allah (a demon god) to lead Congress to the "guide them to the safe path."

So do you think a news story like this read by the Muslim militants all over the world is further empowering them to believe that Islam is rising up to take over the world?

Yep.

Sadly, discernment of spiritual things seems to be near death in America.  We have "In God We Trust" printed on all our money but we don't have the capacity to realize that the god of Buddha, the god of Hindu, the god of Islam, the god of paganism and the god of humanism IS NOT the God of Jesus Christ.

Of course now that this door has been opened to Congressional prayer we can expect the Satanists to demand that they be allowed to pray in Congress.  And how can that be now be stopped?

One liberal recently commented to me that he doesn't believe America has arrived at the point where we have become a "stench in God's nostrils".  Really?  What more would this country have to do?

Oh yeah....curse Israel.

And of course we are already well down that path.
