Antibiotic Apocalypse Fears Grow

Most people probably don't know this but almost all of our beef cows stand in huge feedlots and are fed antibiotics by the jar full...even though they aren't sick.  The same thing is true with our chickens and pigs.

The old saying goes, "You are what you eat."

So if that's true and all of our cows, pigs and chickens have become part antibiotics....and then we consume all that meat...is it possible that our bodies can end up ingesting so many antibiotics that they become ineffective when WE REALLY DO NEED THEM to cure an infection?

The biggest threat to human health today isn’t global warming, says a group of eminent scientists, it is resistance to antibiotics.

The situation, which has been described as ‘apocalyptic’, is so desperate that a global response, similar to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, is urgently needed, said experts gathered at the Royal Society in London.

The World Health Organisation is considering a global action plan to fight the problem.

At least two million Americans a year are infected with drug-resistant bugs and 23,000 die as a direct result. Even more die from other illnesses that were made worse by infections that cannot be treated, according to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) last year.

Antibiotic resistance is not only bad news for current patients, it also allows pathogens to spread to more victims.

Jeremy Farrar, the head of the Wellcome Trust, and Mark Woolhouse, professor of infectious disease epidemiology at Edinburgh University, argued in Nature yesterday (22 May) that the use of antibiotics should be slashed to slow the rate at which resistance is spreading.

Their proposed new global panel would also work with industry to develop treatments for infections caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites. But it takes a decade to develop new drugs, and no new class of antibiotics has made it into clinical use in a quarter of a century.

Antibiotics are also widely used as a growth promoter for livestock, despite a European Union ban.


Britain introduced a five-year antibiotic plan in 2013 to improve surveillance, educate medical professionals and spread best practice.

But, said Michael Moore of the Royal College of General Practitioners, “The problem of antimicrobial resistance is analogous to global warming. You’ve got to have an international policy,”

So there are a few potentially prophetic happenings in this article.  First off, Jesus told us to watch for an increase in pestilence/disease and if millions of people start dying from infections that won't respond to antibiotics...this could certainly fit the bill.

Second, notice how the words GLOBAL PANEL and INTERNATIONAL POLICY and GLOBAL ACTION PLAN all appeared in this article.  The Bible tells us that there is going to be some type of GLOBAL GOVERNMENT in the very last days...one that the Antichrist will ultimately take control of.

 So what types of reasons could cause the world to come together and form a global government?

Well, it quite possibly could start with a GLOBAL PANEL and if millions start dying, the citizens of earth could DEMAND that the governments all come together to cooperate and come up with a cure, ban travel, mandate immunizations, control agriculture practices world wide, etc...

If people are scared enough...they will willingly give up ALL OF THEIR FREEDOMS in exchange for someone who promises them that he will keep them SAFE.

This certainly could be one other END DAYS TRAP that is getting ready to slap shut on the unsuspecting citizens of planet earth.

"Gay Day" Coming to Disney

I hate to sound like a broken record but ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER GAY ARTICLE.

This time the news is reporting that a family association has sent out a warning to stay away from Disney if you or your kids are offended by IN YOUR FACE gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders.

Many people planning visits to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando this summer may wish to avoid one particular weekend if they want to avoid exposing their children to the homosexual lifestyle. 

Florida Family Association has been monitoring the annual "Gay Day" and takes an active role each year in warning the public.

FFA spokesman David Caton advises the day to avoid this year is Saturday, June 7. As many as 12,000 homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and transvestites will descend on Disney World, he says.

And they are there not just to enjoy themselves, but to celebrate their lifestyle in front of unsuspecting families who did not know in advance.

As many as 1,000 unsuspecting people have left within 30 minutes, says Caton, who warned about "Gay Day" at the Magic Kingdom in 2013 and in previous years as well.  

Many homosexuals wear red t-shirts identifying themselves as part of the culture, and there is no mistake that their behavior is offensive to parents and harmful to children.

Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, also warns the public about "Gay Days" in Orlando on his website.

LaBarbera also links to an article by homosexual activist Pete Werner. Werner advised families in 2006 to stay away from Magic Kingdom, citing the in-your-face antics of homosexuals while children were watching. He writes:

That last sentence certainly rings true to me.  30 years ago we certainly knew that some of our friends were probably gay but it was more of a DON'T ASK DON'T TELL atmosphere.

Now these gay days and gay parades have turned into a bunch of nasty perverts wearing offensive outfits and doing offensive actions and activities.  Just STRUTTING their perversions in public and if you dare to oppose their behavior you will risk being shouted down as a hater and an intolerant homophobe.

God calls these folks insolent, arrogant and boastful.  And if you have ever seen video from these LGBT parades...you would agree.  They have depraved minds AND depraved mouths.

Romans 1:26-31

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. Friends, please remember that ALL OF US are wretches!  All of us do evil!...BUT...the difference is that we don't celebrate our perversion, evil thoughts and evil behaviors.  Followers of Jesus will ask for forgiveness and rely on the blood of Christ to atone for our sins.  And HOPEFULLY, the more time we spend with Christ, the more He can transform our hearts and minds so will will mature and turn from our wicked ways.

Somebody Is Lying

Today's world is full of lies.  Jesus came to bring TRUTH...so that the TRUTH can set us free from the chains that are dragging us all to hell.

This article is so good that I will post it all.

The world says there are many gods.

God says “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

The world says there are many ways to God.

God says “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

The world says nothing is sin, so do as you please.

God says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

The world says God would send no one to hell.

God says “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28)

The world says there is no such thing as the Trinity.

God says “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (1 John 5:7)

The world says that Jesus was a good man, but not God.

God says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. “ (John 1:1) and “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30) Jesus is the one speaking.

The world says truth is what we make it.

God says “If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:” (Ephesians 4:21) and “This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” (1 John 5:6)

The world says earth and all its inhabitants, including man, evolved over millions of years.

God says “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…” (Genesis 1:1, 21, 27; 2:3; 5:1;) See also: Deuteronomy 4:32; Malachi 2:10; Mark 13:19

The world says we must work our way to Heaven.

God says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:8-10)

The world says we can do anything we want without repercussion.

God says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. “ Romans 6:23

The world says homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle.

God says “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:26-27, 32)

The world says it isn’t human, so abortion is justified.

God says “Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?” (Job 31:15) and “I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.” (Psalms 22:10) and “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalms 127:3)

The world says “It is my body and I can do with it as I please.”

God says “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

The world says marriage is not necessary.

God says “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” (Hebrews 13:4)

The world says that prostitution is just another way to earn money.

God says “Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.” (Leviticus 19:29) See Proverbs 6:24-25

The world says looking at pornography is harmless.

God says “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:23) See Proverbs 6:24-25

The world says that lying is acceptable in certain cases.

God says “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” (Proverbs 6:16-19)

The world says there is no need to respect our parents.

God says “My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:” (Proverbs 6:20)

The world says it is okay to live off the “government,” other people, in other words.

God says “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

The world says stealing is okay at times.

God says “Thou shalt not steal.” (Exodus 20:15)

The world says it is okay to talk about others.

God says “But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.” (1 Peter 4:15)

I have listed but just a few contrasts of what the world says, either by word or deed, and what God says. Also, I have used only a very, very few verses to show what God says. God’s Word, the Bible has much to say about how we live, whether we are a Christian or a non-Christian.

It is important we understand that it doesn’t matter whether the verse or verses quoted come from the Old Testament or the New Testament. They are all God’s words. Whether they were written by Moses, David, Paul, Peter or any other writer of Scriptures, they are still the words of God.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21)

These contrasts, and many others not listed, are far too great to ignore. Either the world is lying or God is lying. At best, one or the other is wrong. Who do you think it is? Is it the world or God?

Suicide Bomber in Syria is an American

So how the heck does some white kid who grew up in America, end up strapping a suicide vest and blowing himself up in Syria??

Do you think he was a Lutheran, a Methodist, a Catholic or a Muslim?

WASHINGTON — A United States citizen working in Syria with a militant group backed by Al Qaeda conducted a suicide bombing there Sunday, in what is believed to be the first time an American has been involved in such an attack, American officials said Wednesday.

The suicide attack first surfaced on Tuesday in Twitter messages from the Nusra Front, an Islamist extremist group in Syria aligned with Al Qaeda in the fight against the government of President Bashar al-Assad of Syria.

American officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because intelligence matters were involved, declined to identify the American or provide any information about him. NBC News first reported that American government officials had confirmed the bomber was an American.

Syrian activists and jihadist social media sites reported that the American went by the name Abu Huraira al-Amriki and carried out the suicide truck bombing in the northern province of Idlib.

A photo circulated on jihadist social media accounts showed a smiling young man who was said to be the bomber. He had a blond beard and was holding a cat to his chest.

“The recent flood of militants into the country poses a serious challenge, as these individuals could be trained to plan and carry out attacks around the world,” Mark F. Giuliano, the deputy F.B.I. director, said in prepared remarks in Washington on Wednesday.

An American suicide bomber in Syria is a “potential game changer,” said Seth Jones, a terrorism expert at the RAND Corporation.

“It indicates that Americans are honing their ability to conduct terrorist attacks,” Mr. Jones said, and could eventually be used inside the United States or against American interests abroad.

Friends, please remember that none of these things should SCARE us.  Jesus clearly told us not to be fearful.  But He also told us to watch.  And one thing we watch for is deception, lies and increased Satanic activity.

Islam is a huge tool of Satan in these Last Days.  It is a religion that is FILLED with lies, and Jesus clearly told us that Satan is the father of all lies...so clearly, Satan is the force behind Islam.

No doubt there is some type of power involved to convince an American boy to fly to Syria and blow himself up killing other people.  He wasn't dying for love of country or the defense of his friends...he died for Islam...most certainly believing the lie that he will go directly to paradise and get his 72 virgins and all the wine he can drink!

Tragic.

Sadly, this young American clearly didn't have Jesus in his life.  So one second after he blew himself to bits he would have found himself terrified as he traveled down the long tunnel to hell...where he will wait to be resurrected at the Great White Throne judgment and there receive his ETERNAL sentence into the lake of fire where he will be tormented, along with Satan and his demons, forever and ever.

Are Christians Right About Gay Marriage?

This article was on the headline news of Yahoo today.

More evidence that Pandora's Box has been opened and there will be no going back to ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN, and no end to what people will demand to call "marriage".

Same-sex marriage is becoming a national inevitability. A cascade of court opinions, significant public support, not to mention increasingly sympathetic gay couples and increasingly implausible opposition—all these and more point to an emerging national consensus that “gay marriage” is actually a form of “marriage.” It’s not exactly clear when the hump took place—but we definitely seem to be over it.

Which leads to a perfectly logical question: What’s next? Moderates and liberals have argued that same-sex marriage is No Big Deal—it’s the Same Love, after all, and gays just want the same lives as everyone else. But further right and further left, things get a lot more interesting. What if gay marriage really will change the institution of marriage, shifting conceptions around monogamy and intimacy? On the other hand, what if the domesticating institution of marriage changes—and even erases—the more libertine tendencies of gay culture?

Obviously, we now know that the sky doesn’t fall when gays get married. Contrary to the hysterical claims that same-sex marriage would threaten marriage in general, 10 years of experience in Massachusetts have shown the opposite: The divorce rate has gone down, and straight kids aren’t suddenly turning gay.

At the same time, there is some truth to the conservative claim that gay marriage is changing, not just expanding, marriage.  According to a 2013 study, about half of gay marriages surveyed (admittedly, the study was conducted in San Francisco) were not strictly monogamous. 

This fact is well-known in the gay community—indeed, we assume it’s more like three-quarters. But it’s been fascinating to see how my straight friends react to it. Some feel they’ve been duped: They were fighting for marriage equality, not marriage redefinition. Others feel downright envious, as if gays are getting a better deal, one that wouldn’t work for straight couples. Maybe they’re right; women are from Venus, after all. Right?

If you think about it, actual monogamy has never been the Western norm. A monogamous ideal, sure—but men could always sleep around, hire prostitutes, and even have long-term affairs with few societal consequences. After all, it’s not single men who’ve made prostitution the world’s oldest profession.

Funny how this author says, "we know that the sky doesn't fall when gays get married."  Really?  How do you know that?....because it's been all of 10 years that it's been legal in one state??

And now notice what is going to come next in this author's points....that MONOGAMY is a made up deal that really shouldn't be mandatory.  After all...if the gays can be happily married having some extra-marital sex partners...why should we expect married men and women to stay monogamous?

Certainly we are very near to the times of Judges...where everyone does as he sees fit.  There will no longer be anything called RIGHT or WRONG....it will be up to each person to decide what is RIGHT or WRONG for him.

Lord, have mercy.  His judgment WILL FALL...we just have no idea when and we followers of Christ have no idea whether Jesus will come for His bride BEFORE America gets judged OR if we will get swept up in the judgment just like Daniel and his friends did when Judah fell.

Either way, FEAR NOT because Jesus promises that he will NEVER leave us and NEVER forsake us...regardless of how things go down.

Jihad Will Only End When America is Gone

Iran is a country filled with angry, Muslim men.

Now please remember that God is doing an amazing work in ancient Persia.  Thousands of people are coming to Christ on a daily basis.  The Gospel of Jesus is being beamed into the country (illegally) and picked up by citizens using illegal satellite dishes.

Now here are the latest rantings that the Supreme Leader of Iran had to say;

Iran's supreme leader has said that his country's struggle will only end when it defeats U.S.-led oppression.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told members of parliament in Tehran that Iran must be armed and 'have the capability to defend itself' in a 'world full of thieves'.

His comments came as negotiations with the international community over Iran's nuclear programme ran into a stalemate, with Tehran saying world powers were 'demanding too much'.

'Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist,' Khamenei told MPs, according to a translation by U.S. news site The Daily Caller.

'This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought.

'This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.'

The Daily Caller's translation of a Fars News Agency report is by a reporter pseudonymously bylined Reza Khalili, who claims to be a former CIA agent in Iran's Revolutionary Guard.

Khamenei's address to Parliament on Sunday continued with veiled references to the actions of the West and Arab states as he justified Iran's continued defiance of international sanctions against its nuclear programme.

'Logic and reason command that for Iran, in order to pass through a region full of pirates, needs to arm itself and must have the capability to defend itself,' he said.

It sure sounds like a push is happening to make Ezekiel 38 a soon reality.

Pakistani Woman Stoned to Death by Her Family

More evidence that the "religion of peace" isn't really very peaceful, loving, tolerant or forgiving.

LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — A pregnant woman was stoned to death by her own family in front of a Pakistani high court on Tuesday for marrying the man she loved.

Nearly 20 members of the woman's family, including her father and brothers, attacked her and her husband with batons and bricks in broad daylight before a crowd of onlookers in front of the high court of Lahore, police investigator Rana Mujahid said.

Hundreds of women are murdered every year in Muslim-majority Pakistan in so-called "honor killings" carried out by husbands or relatives as a punishment for alleged adultery or other illicit sexual behavior, but public stoning is extremely rare.

Mujahid said the woman's father has been arrested for murder and that police were working to apprehend all those who participated in the "heinous crime."

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, a private group, said in a report last month that some 869 women were murdered in honor killings in 2013.

But even Pakistanis who have tracked violence against women expressed shock at the brutal and public nature of Tuesday's slaying.

"I have not heard of any such case in which a woman was stoned to death, and the most shameful and worrying thing is that this woman was killed in front of a court," said Zia Awan, a prominent lawyer and human rights activist.

He said Pakistanis who commit violence against women are often acquitted or handed light sentences because of poor police work and faulty prosecutions.

"Either the family does not pursue such cases or police don't properly investigate. As a result, the courts either award light sentences to the attackers, or they are acquitted," he said.

Parveen's relatives had waited outside the court, which is located on a main downtown thoroughfare. As the couple walked up to the main gate, the family members fired shots in the air and tried to snatch her from Iqbal, her lawyer said.

When she resisted, her father, brothers and other relatives started beating her, eventually pelting her with bricks from a nearby construction site, Iqbal said.

Iqbal, 45, said he started seeing Parveen after the death of his first wife, with whom he had five children.

"We were in love," he told The Associated Press. He alleged that the woman's family wanted to fleece money from him before marrying her off.

"I simply took her to court and registered a marriage," infuriating the family, he said.

Parveen's father surrendered after the incident and called the murder an "honor killing," Butt said.

"I killed my daughter as she had insulted all of our family by marrying a man without our consent, and I have no regret over it," Mujahid, the police investigator, quoted the father as saying.

Mujahid said the woman's body had been handed over to her husband for burial.

What kind of man can kill his daughter and then have not regrets?

B)  A normal human male
C)  A angry male who just lost his job
D)  A Muslim male who believes the Koran

I wonder if even the main stream media is going to start to catch on to the fact that Muslims all over the world are doing heinous things to women in the name of Allah?  The 200 abducted school girls in Nigeria seems to have gotten the attention of even the liberals...including Michelle Obama.

I think it's interesting that Muslims kill dozens (or hundreds) of innocent people every single day and the liberals don't seem real interested in those stories...BUT...for some reason they did get interested in these abducted, Nigerian school girls.

Well, maybe they will be appalled at this pregnant woman killed by her father?  Maybe they will start to question WHY the "religion of peace" seems to be responsible for abducting, molesting and murdering so many women?  Maybe this could be a turning point for liberals pointing their fingers at Islam?

Maybe....but don't hold your breath.
